Its been a week since England lost and I am still shocked as the whole nation was rooting for England to win. It was an amazing atmosphere and one that I will remember for a very long time. In the end, the best team won and Italy has been the best team throughout the tournament. When Shaw scored, I thought today was the day but it wasn't meant to be. The fact it went to penalties, I had my doubt but we were given a golden opportunity and unfortunately, players you expected to score missed.
Things happen but what I and many others don't stand for is racism. The pressure these players are under is immense and it takes courage to step up to take a penalty.
I was glad I could say I was there even though the results didn't turn out as I wanted but either way, I am proud of the team and hope we don't wait for another 55 years to see England in another major final.
