tell the people what we got coming up. We got another great episode line up here, right? Depending on who you are coming here for, we're going to react at both of our week seventeen home games. There is a fair margins, including a major related incident in video that travis will surely get to kick out of and we're else is going to break down the biggest story lines around the league as we head into the last week of the regular season.
Got to break that down.
But first, as always.
always.
news. I guess we're starting off this year the same way we ended that we had back to number one on apple podcast. Thank you so much to the Kelsey family.
Forgettest back up there. Shut out. As always, the ninety percent .
for two watching is getting .
a kick out of IT or .
whatever centers here.
The other ones that were all also on the top shows you get the bible recap, which is number two, uh, huberman lab, always up there. Mortal sin. Don't know what that one is. Dateline, that's self explanatory. Male romano, okay, that's whom romans are crime junkie .
and smartness smart, less crime junk y OK. I O I mean.
what you think they are talking the by the number two.
that's a good question. Do you think everybody just kind of really felt really holy going into the new year? Like all this year, i'm going to be be way closer to my faith.
Maybe they have a really special Christmas episode that's from the biblical times that they come out with.
What is there something connecting Christmas and the bible .
in in the bible? How do they talk about Christmas in the bible? Do they talk about Christmas in the bible?
Now I talk .
about jesus.
Heard about that.
I guess he's part of Christmas. But it's always more about sand. I really .
about the north.
Yeah, more about rudolph. I mean, we should have the baby rk APP tellers. But pretty juice was not even born on december twenty five. I made up, 对, 嘿嘿, 嘿嘿。
And I will say.
one of my favorite things that we did do every Christmas I kind of miss now was going to church .
on Christmas eve too. IT was the only time where we could .
feel like we were part of .
a quiet yeah that was tremendous .
yeah yet all the .
the which one which one .
was your favorite?
I just .
do the something like now I used to love .
watching the gift that was the part of giving. That's really a giving anything. yeah.
And with you and the candles, we all got our own candles. And I was a little pie rose, a kid.
That's right. We did get their own candles.
I just loved sitting there and looking at the candle.
No.
their own candles are parents in the last .
opened up to the songs .
where he was like a like .
a good tradition yeah IT .
was like, um what they call those things .
is like a field .
trip for our family yeah it's fun.
Thanks, mom.
for doing that. You to get the girls on IT. Well, Jason, you ve got caught in a track suit of lore, track suit at that. Hey, are you now of the fin?
No um I will say the the top was nice. He was a complete top .
IT was clear.
a nice material. The pains I has a liner in IT I don't like liners. It's not a very liners.
Fair a fair one.
What is that about high end sweat that I feel like there pretty much the same as low in sweat. They just start making the drawing longer like I feel that's the only thing that happens is like the longer the during, the longer the .
dry look that end, the hoody is typically bigger, like other way bigger hoody. So IT looks like a like drives more I .
did like the top. The top was coming IT was IT was a dress .
you're saying IT like IT was like that like the only time you're ever gonna AR and you I gave IT a .
way to somebody. I didn't give IT anybody, but I don't think i'll be wearing this that frequently. I just yeah, I appreciate .
that there's .
a good gift. There's a good gift is a good gift, is a good gift.
There's a good gift not that makes me happy to see you walk in in of the lord jump suit with live .
time duffle bag so let me tell them and les.
really nice to appreciate you a dressing as me uh, for new year s game yeah, this is a fair mention of the week you want to chop off the first one. Nf may go on twitter.
Our first for me mention comes from an N F, L cartoon. The travel is featured in the nfl mexico twitter account posted this photo with this caption the party daya nfl vehicle phillies on your vivo. I think I nailed the pronunciation of that translation on behalf of annibal, mexico.
Happy new year, right? That's see where you trade. Oh, look at that. You have once of embarq. Oh, no, Kitty, I thought body trophy.
They must have heard of talking about cats on here, huh?
interesting. How about that? What kind of cats are they? Do you know the different like calico .
and what like tiger and lion like that?
All those are cats like cheder. Yeah, suppose that much .
too nice man. What's go on? Yeah, like that. Who is? Who is a Jimmy Johnson?
Hold on to a who is that Jimmy Johnson? Home on to Steve Young? goal. open. a. Stephen benia and .
looks like pennie. Is that Steve Young?
George kito, maybe. George kenna.
eighty five.
Yeah, that's George kito. Nice, nice George. Your opinion. A, and is got ya. That's like the would call a helmet too, like the power rage or him and him .
in both aWright. Well, congratulations on your kid. In other related fan mention news, there was also an eagles fan at the game of the sign who clearly listened to the friday episode.
That's right. Get the cat, Jason. Go birds. Great to go birds.
Everyone's listen to this .
great to go birds part. I don't need anybody to tell what to do, right? I .
got to say. And for the next one from ali, switch on twitter at new heights, at the mammals twenty twenty four parade. nice.
All right now, who we ve got a pretty good one here, a pretty good one to Jason. No, zag oliphant max and old, nice little new height game day bag, clear, clear bag with White laws in IT. Yeah, don't if we support White claws more to kila guy in a mollie or but the .
person dressed as .
Jason has a full beard going that is not Jason. That is a open a that's hanging over. It's really a difference. Yes, don't ever try. I do like that fucking and umbrella .
though urea as a number's umbrella.
but that is not that's a ruled umbrella.
I mean, IT is. But this is like in the typical fashion of what mummer's parade umbrella looks like. There's like a style of member's umbrellas.
oh, a style, oh okay, the the wave person of the .
ornate umbrella that's like not even really umbras more just like a accessory item just there .
here so little yeah.
it's a very mummer mummer thing.
Well, yeah, sweet man, did you did you check that out at all?
I wanted to, but after the game I didn't necessarily feel that fest. So we opted to nco, unfortunately.
probably washed IT on the news, right? You've got this stuff. And ever, yeah, you gotta do IT right. People ping IT shut out of filling and everybody having some fun of the members parade.
I guess we did have somebody in house, the momma's parade, our own brand in interm. Brandon was at the momma's parade. And did you want described everybody what the mommer parade is on here as from texas? Can can we do a preemptive welcome in Brandon? Do you think this is a good bit for .
if he's going to get up.
I guess, find out how long is the day to refresh a browse petty britton.
Maybe you can come on there. What theory is that? You just ask me you a good bit.
Yeah so what you so .
as somebody from texas.
never having been been to a members, pray to my or all these statements, choose of her.
What what would the statements from the taxes that I grow? Xi, yes, I know idea what a mummer is. You know.
what is? What did you think? IT?
IT is something as far .
as new year's daily .
celebrations? I don't. Okay, Jason.
what are they celebrated here?
I saw I let me tell you what I saw. I saw a bunch of men in costumes with umbrellas, caring around different kinds of booze, walking down broad street.
having a greater, i'm fAiling to see where not Better.
No, no problems with this so far. And this is a good vibe. I saw one of the drunks and never seen stress. Has been Franklin just pounding.
twisted to, Frankly, you want to be drunk, right?
And I want to hang out that I don't know what what is? What is a mummer and what is the point of a Jason? What is the put me on .
the spot here?
I feel deal.
Well, it's not my deal.
That is all right, you don't. You back .
stop. Um I looked this up a long time ago, I think so members go back to like england, I believe, right? And IT was a tradition where I think guys would dress up in women's close and go door to door and you would like, celebrate with the families of, like the other residents.
Listen, I don't know. Let's look at out. How about this? How about IT? Said of Jason, guessing what the mummer's parade is. We just look up .
what is a mummer. Every your job, you, you're the searcher r listen that people are watching to my job live. You are the searcher IT used to be a celebration of arrival between the neibban ods we still have an answer for. It's like a folk parade celebrating philadephia. Yes.
I think that's accurate, but I don't know where comes from. I guess I was trying to think of like where members come from.
we're gona get a lot of comments correcting everything about what we just said. Who needs a search bar when we can just ask the ninety two percenters? Yes, just leave us a comment what a mummer is.
Yeah, I think I watched what a mummer is pretty significantly.
But I IT I I IT yeah I mean.
I I think that just of IT is just a celebration of a field of a cultures, heritage and most importantly, drinking.
Until someone describes to me what exactly a mummer is when I get out .
there where .
he came from and how IT has significance to philadelphia. This is just a bunch of shit on new yeah that they are trying to do to like to celebrate the new year.
The mass drives their name from the members play that .
was performing just the new year. What should we do? What if you put on a dress and .
got drunk in the street and struck? I'm reading IT from before m infilling. Out via the eighteen century is part of a wide variety of working class street celebrations around Christmas. By the early twenty th century, this coal less, with earlier swedish costumes, including the Christmas neighbor visits swedish.
that that what I .
was talking about, they will go bomba bomb. You go to your neighbors, impossibly shooting firearms on the new year's day, although this was coming for the countries as well.
did not get to do that.
The puzzling, the german custom of bells snicking, where adults in disguise question children about their behavior during the previous year.
right? Well, we're going somewhere. We're not getting .
anywhere Carried on the official custom of of new year's day calls during the seven .
years of occupied. Nobody ever gets anywhere describing what this is and why i've been asking about IT for years. Everybody I mean, filter lpi, I asked him about IT. It's just like it's just what we do on new yeah you know it's the parade.
All this is to lead into the child that was just like me at the game, which was pretty good .
to see yeah and they let him on the field. They let look at on the field.
Did you see embro?
M, I saw that kid, a kid at a crowd around him. Kid, people were really into that king. It's got a great beard. The other one was alvin. C, is that Jason?
That is Jason.
This is like my money. You were warming up and people trying to flag you over there, but you were locked in to doing what looked like volvo. S you do not little .
walter roles.
You are on the goal post like you warm up like a bear scratching their back.
I was just trying to lose in the hipster. No.
cool kid. Well done.
That is a great outfit. He nailed IT his beers even Better than mine.
That's how you dress ads. j. Kelsey on the eagles game.
pretty. So try. Ve got to get out to the members. They pray.
One of these days, maybe maybe I might just keep, you know, in the new year's day, again, the city, those are pretty for good fun.
looked like he had fun. Always have some fun. Would you dress up or would you rather just go and participate?
I mean, until someone can explain what what this is for.
it's whatever you want. It's just a celebration.
At the same reason.
every other culture is new year's day celebrations. There are not dragons in asia, but they still have dragons all over the place on new year's day celebrations.
Well, if you look at the history, there might have been dragons when IT all started going this last day. Imagine is something .
that a lot of concern ninety percenters reach out to us about. Dukes male bow between west Virginia and north CarOlina. A was played last week.
And of course, when the ninety two percent saw mail all over their tvs, they immediately think of trade from mao bear swifty on twitter, wondering if T L C and J L Z. Are watching the milo and if travis will survive watching the mao dunk after the game. Let's go out as so I was not watching the game. I didn't even know that there was a duck mee ball.
I didn't even know there was a.
Do you heard of duck mayonnaise?
We've been lipping that shot up for years.
I have a try, if you ve seen this video of this coach being dumped to minutes.
I have none. I really don't want to see, because I see this picture and I can not see that yellow fucking good coming out of that. Get IT. Oh my god, that's male, male.
So that's what I the city of this is way to.
That's water down me, Jason said. Yeah, that's not not I don't we .
don't need to revisit emson real man is would have been way groser .
as yellow paint doesn't a mail yellow paint? You might be right. They knew. They knew that they couldn't fucking top mail on somebody because they would probably throw up. So you don't even think of water.
so you don't even think this is water downal. You think this is a substance that doesn't have any man is in IT correct? That our conspiracy, I think I might kind of tend to agree. I think many is way different distancing than that.
I've ever seen a tub full of man is like .
I have seen a tub full man is. H 买。 G it's lucky. Put right on my cheese tape, please.
to give on your cheese cake.
It's a very controversial people filled of you. I'm really lose some point to filled out you right now not knowing exactly what a memory is and also saying that I put man is on .
artistic but yeah well do mayble um I call bs that was not real. Man is disgusting if IT was real, manage so I kind of respect IT. And thirdly, how the fuck guys get a big ball game is blowing my mind. And like there, whoever wins gets like free mall for the entire year.
Well, the one the one guy in the conform check.
hey.
so I watch it's for hard to .
make out nice you. They can just use that as a is like a food stamp get more mail .
says ten thousand dollars.
nice ten thousand dollars.
But I don't know what it's for. I don't know what to be on.
Shut up. The the mountaineers forgive the the wind down there and a duke mile bow. And the man is was fox. He was fox four many we got to .
go to the bottom what that really .
is and that's the bottom line. You want to the noodle .
questions moving on. It's not time to answer some noodles m questions because thing is dumb people done questions. no. Buffalo wind wings, let's go sports park. From soccer mom two thirty seven on club ninety two.
When do innovo players give their profile pictures and videos taken of them that the TV broader show, when they are giving stats are take, are talking about the players they make you guys do some pretty dramatic shots. They do. They do. This is my least favorite day of the year.
which is day.
This is really annoying. You have to get dressed up in all of your equipment to go to a bunch of pictures that you don't want to do. Well, some guys like doing that, I guess, but I can see IT and they usually try and do something in there.
Like one year we have like a boxing in there. And guys like boxing because what the fuck are we do in? Just take your garden pictures with time right now.
Try to this last year .
they had A A whole house bill and that you will go in there.
That's all dues are just so over the ship.
but. I was so I was so over for I think for like eight and they use the exact .
on monday .
night face of me because I kept refusing to go there .
of you .
and like long hair yeah, as a long hair there is a same ahead for a while. But they talked me to doing at last year, largely because they agreed, helped me out the documentary I was making. And they're like, Jason, we needed to do media day. If you're onna, get any of the footage, if we're going to play ball with you.
that is blackmail, is what that is. Bulls shit.
I don't IT really is like they didn't straight up say that. So I couldn't, like, charge him with the crime. But IT IT was apply.
IT was a blood. Scatter your back.
We scratch mine. Yeah, I cannot stand. Can you stand in here and look at the camera? I'll serious and then put the ball and then bring the ball back. You put the ball like this. I did a media shoot for the black jerseys, and IT was a photo shoe, and then they released the photos, and I looked .
terrible the photos. There's nothing .
they're going to be able to do to make up for what these photos were going to look like. But that was the last one on my god. And that I can do this anymore. I can't pretend like I care about is not those .
of you that don't know. Media day is every single station monday night. So that S P.
N. Comes in for monday night. Nbc comes in for sunday night football. I believe fox also comes in, and maybe even cbs, but everybody comes and he gets like there shot.
Or what they do for for the interros or for when they're highlighting a player. And you see all those graphics and stuff typically in teams trying to knock IT out some time before the season like in the off season. And yeah it's uh it's not the the most fun thing for everybody. Some guys get into and some guys .
have a good time when you're Young.
I feel like you you're .
super into IT be then what you get out like this. All I want to do is sit my locker and not do anything for thirty minutes. And I i've got to put uncomfortable pads and equipment, take a walk to an indoor facility and .
take a lot of pictures.
Your indoor have A C is.
yeah our door doesn't c and we always do IT in fucking in june just sweating. It's serious so he's a sweating your tailor for like the next like hour. And I have trying to knock out all these stations that we .
used to not have A C or either they just didn't turn IT on for signing day. That was the same thing. On Sunny day you'd be like hundred thousand autograph for the team.
Just drink and switched iranic. This is coming from soccer. mom. I remember all the soccer moms probably have all the pins in the pictures for so he was just probably wondering, you know where where would mama kit picture day stuff, huh?
Have you ever been to find a picture day?
No.
it's always like, what do we doing? I do like looking at the old pictures though. What like looking at the old team photos and looking at like what guys used to look .
like like thousand and fifties yeah so .
maybe to be cool in like forty years. But right now I look at all my my this a waste of time.
I do not look forward to the day I just one place in foobar, man, as I am here for my yeah yeah so that's what happens um that's how you get your A T V broadcast um individual shots in graphics thanks socket mom to three seven and um move on to from uber race at also one club ninety two. My wife is pregnant without or with our first child. What do I need to include in my Jason approved hospital go bag for you?
Okay, what do you need? what? First of all, you had to make sure you have a thing, because can get really hot and comfortable there. If you like fans and sleep, make you bring a fan go. If you have a pillow that you like that I would take that I think it's really important and i'm being dead serious to bring some type of bar, whether it's an energy bar, chocolate bar because what happens is a lot of guys pass out.
yeah, we talked about .
this yeah it's really important, right? When your wife start in the labor to eat a bar to get your blood sugar back up because you don't want to be passing out in the most important part of what you're therefore, you want to be able to you want to be there to to witness and offer support for your wife.
And then of course, you need to bring something that you can do, because this can be a lot of set around and you don't really have anything to do with the dead. So, you know, take a book, you can a bring a game. I don't know .
anything that good and .
but other than that, you're going to be you're going to get up and getting water. You're going to I mean, listen here, your the role player for the day. Your job is to assist your wife, make sure she's comfortable, make sure she's happy. Um and then outside of that, there is not much free to do.
You go, you got you to go back, get you some bags, get you some begging.
You just order .
the bles yeah.
get you some bags you want yeah.
you do some accelerator, you use some thermogenesis. S I mean.
that might not be a bad thing with the power bar. Just power bar washed IT down with some accelerator. And you be .
be really pass out, then you pass out .
on that way.
Would they want you to go back?
Are you looking at me like that? I don't know if Kelly approved of my last answer. SHE didn't.
Did I not do a good job with that entry? guy? She's just laughing.
What do you do? An east dropping? No, I have one of you one time and three parties. Well, the first time I wasn't a lot to leave the room.
And Jason, can I, can you give me some water? Jason, just start to buzz. The nurse.
the first time I was actually not allowed to leave a room. Second.
second time I was not allowed to live .
room other strict .
protocols from at its okg on club ninety two. Did you guys collect ports cards growing up? Of course we did.
Who did you collect? Are you still into the hobby? Um yes, of course we collect the sports cards.
I think all kids that love sports find a way to get into the cards. And I don't think we had. I wouldn't call us collectors. We did what I love going to.
I I love going into stores and ask my dad if I can buy or if we can grab like a pack of cards and open up and see you. They are. I never had any good ones though.
We we never practice the habits of collectors.
I don't have any rocky cards. I don't have any lake.
We would get all the, like the plastic binder holders so that the Carter rowed, and then we taken .
right out of.
I think we got a whole backs of nfl cards of one this seasons. And they, I think he was George, and I think that would escapes those for Christmas one year, I believe IT. And I remember them saying, like guys don't open them.
R I P G R.
so much more valuable if you don't open them. And we ve asked, like two days, we.
You're like, yeah, but what's in .
who is all very centers? I just ever playing games with them. I would design games with the cards.
Like one of the games I know that I used to do is I put a hat in like a specific part of the room, and I was trying to throw the cards from my bed into the hat. And he was like a tournament. But the card actually, players in the tournament.
So like, there was no marvel scale. And Albert bell, yeah. Tim couch, uh, all those guys were in the game .
were competitors.
even one flicking the cards and whoever won .
genus game is A J I want to go play that .
game just to see yeah you .
were just like game IT you're just that's .
aren't well.
sweet um yeah and do you do you collect cards now .
I have a couple cards. I actually wouldn't mind getting into IT. I do like older cards, like there's something to stogies about having a playing card. I think it's pretty cool and I do have techne a bunch of box is that there might be a time brady, rookie in there that we're still waiting open. Maybe we will do that for the ninety two percent of one day because I need to be pretty awesome there.
About this.
Up before a White elephant, somebody brought in, doctor j, signed basketball cards. I thought that was prety cool.
Like doctor J.
I know I I could see myself getting into IT.
What about you? Yeah, I like all, all the vintage stuff. Anything vintage i'm here for? I like vintage close, vintage memorabilia. A would you .
ever collect current players? Or would you only go with how .
would probably only go with these guys that i'd enjoyed watching growing up, right?
I need to something about I think it's a pretty smart investment to invest in dead guys because they're not making any more stuff.
Everybody is a dead. I walk on.
well, yeah, but I mean, they are not dead yet so they come out with like a whole news stringer signature and cards.
which are saying is get a rocky card in number one.
Get him to sign that and make sure to the only one circulation to exactly i'm say.
alright, be looking over my .
shouter hey, murder that was no dumb .
questions to dump is talking about IT season .
for swing. And that's why we need to tell you about our special hook up for today's spotters seek.

this, get some bold topics starting off our games. Men, a. Cardinals, thirty five.
Eagles, thirty one on new year's day, new years eve day. Excuse me. Yeah, man, was, there was a tough one, bigger. That was a tough one, especially late this season and being in up at half. And what are initial thoughts on the though?
Well, yeah, we blew essentially homefield advantage, at least for part of the playoff. S have not all of IT. Um so yeah, it's it's a very frustrating game and we just not playing good at right now.
Yes.
taller is say to lose the game like delayed the season staying that does so. But I can do is just go back in in work, man. I still i'm going to keep saying this because I believe that we have great players in the building.
We have great coaches. And all you can do is just keep going to work. Men keep, you know, looking at things objectively, looking at things you can do to improve your game play, uh and, uh, and to assist others. And I think that ain't like guys are trying these are trying people trying to get this corrected. Um you know I think it's just IT was a IT was a frustrating day to say this.
You well let to start with this a post game quote from a sydney Brown he's in quote saying, fuck we just lost to the worst team in the nfl, says confidence is still there. If we play to our capabilities, we can beat the shit out of anyone nice. That's the confidence you need them.
Yeah, the car knows. And I good this year. I think that's .
one for shares. Beats some times I figured who also was maybe a pitchfork is a pitcher g loss there.
We've talked before. It's a feel no matter how bad a team is or how bad their records been, it's any given sunday. And you know IT, they showed up and they play me and they freak corner in the one game they were run in the ball.
I mean, IT absolutely dominates. I mean, it's just the way IT is and it's something that was frustrating to watch and frustrate to be a part of offensively. You when the teams run on the ball well, you only get so many .
opportunities and maxims.
All of the opportunities we got, you know, I know we got out to an enormous ous lead to start off, start out twenty one to six in the first f and you know, regardless of what's happened on the different decide, that should be enough of a question. And offensively, we should be able to see all the game out. So um you know really, really frustrating.
They obviously, but I agree with sydney, obviously a team that you don't want to lose to another, you want to lose any team. But and this way you play anybody, they can beat you, especially if you don't take care business, you don't fit everything right. Or whatever the case may be.
The tax is one got to be a place, a huge play left and right. And those are those are moments gravers men, yeah got to be able to weather the storm. Like you said, the first hf, you guys were up twenty twenty one to six um a huge even though you guys were up twenty one six and were the corners were dominating the time of possession throughout the entire first self. Like he said, the run game was going herself. That's we and we .
receive the ball. Now part of that because our defense gave up a big driver. I got a pixie Brown at a big six, nine, nine yards. But yeah, there were two big drives where they are on the ball taking on a clock. So even in the the half that we received, the bubble in the at twenty positions, just crazy.
There's a weird game. IT really was called both the first have of touchdown for the office. And like you said, sydney Brown had that early in the second quarter pick six first interception and took its the house man shot out the synetic for that one.
He was an impressive run.
He was flying. I didn't reality like that do.
He's got a future men. He place with a lot of aggressive flies into the box, hits, uh, really, really like watching any play.
Yeah, I get up against them. They brought a back and tired in the second half one twenty one, and eventually get the game winning td with thirty two seconds left to play, garden score touched down on all four of their second half possessions and the eagles office without scored by nineteen points in the second half. Was this the case of them coming out with the different looks in the second half? Or how do you kind of feel as an offence?
I can't speak for offensively, but the reason to change so quickly because they receive the ball coming out a half time, scored and we got a possession, got a zero blitz jail and delivered a great ball that devotee just couldn't quite come down with before we knew that was twenty one, twenty one. Yes, I mean, so I mean, that happen.
We get a few good breaks and you run the ball well and limit the teen's possessions. And they can they can feel like you. You can dominate. But reality is just, you know, limiting the time for you guys as an office to go to work.
And I M not trying to take the coronals. I mean, do they were run in the ball hard? They were they we do a lot of counter pinon pole double powers. Um you know they were you got to give him credit and they played hard as well, especially offensively.
They were there after o syrian. I um talked about the fourth quarter in the second half struggles and addressed IT with the media by saying I like the calls but maybe I could have been more aggressive there yeah that's just me being honest. So a little bit of scrutiny on the series of place in the fourth quarter and syria.
Ni always ah he always stepped up to the player. I've never seen that guy ever thrown anybody into the bus or point finger. He he knows how to do a right.
That's the sign of a great leader, man. And that that drive ended up resulting in a field goal instead of going for IT. And I think that's what is he's talking about. But anybody complain one in .
more in coach corby and that drive, we ended up ran inside zone in the first play. Oh, that series. Get a holding call in our first in china.
Love that.
Yeah, perfect start. And there's not i'm not blame like Jordan the way I bounced ed out from side, Jordan is not ready for the bottle ground there. IT sucks.
It's just a circumstances times of the way when in inside I bound this front side. I've seen that happened so many times of an often alignment. Who seeks he's pushing the guy exactly where he wants him to go and then all the son he's reaching out to make a tackle.
You're not trying to hold him. And just kind of the way the play unfolds just happens sometimes that puts us behind the sticks at first and twenty, we come out quarter back run and first down, which I was excited to run that play. We had run earlier, had some success, run IT again, don't execute the same way and only give four yard done.
I think when you run the counter background, you're looking for a bigger and play yeah because you know everyone's going to be a comfortable there's never going to be a safety down who was unblocked. It's one of those that you get the numbers no matter what. Um and we just didn't execute the same way we did earlier.
Um and we had a couple miss blocks and only give four yards on IT yeah come right back. And this is where I think syrian I saying he in hindsight maybe could have been more aggressive, but we call a play that usually one of our Better place, which is another truly a quarter back reading play. He can neither hand to the running back, going out the back side, or keep IT on the counter.
Play the P. O. They hit us with a zero blitz, double A G blitz. Want the safe going to one a gap. The backer was going to blitz in the other, a gap.
You know, we just the safety got through and it's one of those where if that works, right, if everything gets down and that safety gets block IT could have been a huge play. Now a lot of could have was right. It's not it's a negative for yard run were back to third and twenty.
And in that that point, I think what syrian is probably thinking is that we got ta throw the ball of trying to convert this. But we also want to make sure that it's not an implication so that we're not leaving them a bunch of time left. We force either another time out, two minute, whatever spits out a why receive a screen is one of those things that I think a lot of people just do in those situations. It's a very situation. Play, unfortunately.
Dos, you guys don't do IT all the time if you get put that situation.
but we go to those a lot when it's situations that are a let's throw a prawn IT guarantees a little bit of your orange, I guess. So you're not risking a sack. It's probably a completion.
So you the clock is still going to be moving and you're still in a good position to cook a feel go on fortnight. Um and then if IT pops, you're looking at probably pick IT up. That's why I think it's called is like this could be an explosive.
We could get IT, but it's also a pretty safe, conservative play anyways. Yeah, I mean, I think in handset, you, nick, probably wishes you would have been a more agressive, especially how things unfolded. We were also really aggressive earlier in the year against washington, end up growing a slog on in a four minute situation, uh, and we went up because we scored on IT, right? But we scored too soon.
And then also something that gave the ball back to washington. So I wonder if that playing and to aside as well, it's like, listen, no, we also we want to be aggressive here. We want to get the first down, but we also don't want to give the ball back arizona with too much time left on the clock.
So either way, IT didn't work. It's tough. Yes, it's tough. You know, I think that hindsight obviously always twenty, twenty. Looking back on IT, the runs didn't work. So you know you wish you would have done something more to be able to retain possession and that give the ball back to arizona especially.
But I think how the game was unfolding, um you know we knew offensively that, that was a big drive for us and I thought was really smart and potentially overshadowed. And again again went from the outside kick right after they scored, he knew we go outside kick. We're conceding essentially three points probably to filly, but we're also if we get to stop, guarantee we're going to get another possession whereas they were to kick off. Now of a sudden, you run the risk of us being able to bleed out everything easier. Something sense.
yeah, one hundred percent longer. Feel more, more, more field to drive on. So that's more time on the clock. You short in the field, you essentially give up three and hoes that you get a big player, turn over something and you get the ball back.
Quit you guys.
you're still in a good seat, man. You guys just got to get that filly dog mentality back. JAiling was post game saying he was another learning opportunity for us.
We still have everything in front of us to do what we want to do. We still got to clean things up. There is still a sense urgency to do that. Um it's all hands on deck to do so.
This will you coming back to and listen, I know your fans are frustrated or frustrated. It's you know I think everybodys pissed off after the game if we're being quite honest. This is again that we knew has had major implications.
Yeah you know it's probably gonna turn into our last game of link through the season, which is frustrating stuff a man, it's over. All you can do is move forward and trying get things corrected. Look at the things you're doing. Well, this what I look at, I think James played really, really well. And if the cortex plain at .
a high level do chb right.
And defensively, I know there's been there's been some bad games. There's been coordinating changes. I see all that. But the day I still think we got good .
players over there one .
thousand percent and I know it's not working right now. Um but that doesn't mean you can get Better and that doesn't mean can get fix. And the only thing you can do as teammates, as players, as coaches, as keep coming into the building with energy to work and get Better, keep trying to figure that out, tell you that that's the only thing we got.
and that's a pretty good option. If you look at the guys, you guys got full.
And I personally believe that we got people in there to get this done, to make these corrections and to play a high level. I know it's not happened right now. I get that and it's it's beyond infuriating when is not clicking in a tesch e as a team, a tester as a player, a tesse as a coach. But man, I still love all the guys in that building and and I look forward to continually work on with them to go out there and try and write this thing.
Well, circle of the wag and his brother, it's go time baby play. Also here you're talk about our jail and played great and how he's playing really good right now. And that really started lebron stead of the game.
Jailor hearts set the franchised record for the most touchdowns in a single season with thirty eight combined rushing and passing. This is not a fucking lebron step. This is a leg. The guy, I just literally set the David, we're going in reverse. Get to my king fuck.

Let's get some happy game. Happy game news. Happy game news. Chiefs beat their rivals twenty five, seventeen, the bengals on new yeah eve. There's so much that goes into this and there's so much emotion clearly be like built up between youtube uh, in the way these games have unfolded in the would be at stake between the chief s and the bengals over the less four, five years.
What are your initial thought? Men, man, i'll tell you what. Man, I was a fun game to be a part of is probably the first first game i've had in a while where the energy felt right on the sideline, the excitement for everybody's success, not just out, they're trying to do your job. And guys were making place. Guys were comfortable out there.
We we had a really good week of preparation, especially on the office of side uh just speaking of uh, the office outside knowing that our defends play their asses off again um but offensively, IT felt like we caught a hythloday and IT all kind of started with that office of line in those five guys came together made in a statement that that we were going to control the line of scrimmage and share enough I mean, I say a patio one hundred and plus yards after with a touchdown. Guys, the wider servers get in, get dirty, get inside the inside the hashes. And given some big blocks, IT was IT was a fun game to be a part of because everybody just kind of rally together to to prove ourselves that we can do this with the guys that we got this locker, women shough.
We didn't put up as many touch downers we wanted to, but we remove in the ball we had our our safety and hair and bucker um just died in for six six out of six field goals. IT was just IT was all around fun game and the atmosphere was great on new year's new year's eve, a lot of cheese fans excited for this one. No known that the bengals have talked a lot in the past also knowing that they're not the same team right now be due to some injuries and obviously they are shot back.
Jolie burgh, not not being out there, but I always have enough respect for them and and they know that after the game, IT was cool to kind of catch up with a few guys um didn't get to see my guy lane Brown and I I miss you big guy. I love you. He's forever going to be one of my favorite e mates but um yeah, he was, uh, IT was a fundamental. Well.
you guys officially clinched the A, S, C west with this a winning against the bengals, their eighth consecutive division title. That is crazy. You are also locked into the three sea for the playoff.
So we'll see what you guys up doing this week. Uh, is also the cheese night consecutive ten plus win season and night consecutive playoffs. Man, that's a dominating decade of football for the kids of city chiefs. How to have a mom there for that game? Uh.
pretty but that we all to celebrate years together. Yeah, IT was IT was cool, man, to have all the friends and family. I think I had over fifty, fifty five people .
come in for this one. Here you go.
Yeah, a good new year s celebration with other friends of fame a lot and I got to exchange presence with the mam keels. I can't tell you what I got because, uh, some things still being a made for you that to one of the gifts and it's and love this .
so you find out that that i'm not into the law, so you decided to get me another .
gift now no, mom did.
H mom, mom, beautiful.
Yes, it's. It's the same gift that you got me, but it's just getting made and you're going to love this fucking thing this, I was one of the coolest gift you got, will talk about IT if you ever actually get IT. Yeah, IT was cool, cool to have mom in town for the catch up on a little Christmas and and for the new year. Bring the new year and with her.
Well, let's talk about the first half. You guys find yourselves trAiling will come from behind Victory in the second half, the only touched down of the game was an eight yard receiving touchdown for I Z apathetic o in the first quarter, down seventeen, thirteen. You know what was the message in alf? Time for many.
Stay stay on track. I think we all knew that, that we kind of had the momentum. At least we felt like we had the momentum going and a half a kind of caught a stride on defense um and then on top of that offensive vely, um we realized that we were able to control the line scrimmage and that um hand in the ball off was a hell of the play force. So I think we we kept doing that a little bit more um and we caught the the bengals and man covers on a few second and third downs and had some huge plays by our by our wide out and pat homes. Put nothing on the money .
men ah you go we guys came out a half time, not get in the end zoo, but put points up right away on the first two drives. Two more fuel goals to go up nineteen seventeen in the third quarter and the few goes continued to accounting for all of your second APP point six for six many kicks bucker kick six figures as a lot of fugues. Yeah chief s total twenty five points after we connected on two more fuel. Als, longer to the night was fifty four yards.
Has the big one go? The pretty big one, especially when got a little wind in in late december, men was IT .
in his face. Are you saying right now that .
the win was in his face? No, I think wind in any direction .
is always the, is always easier pushed.
That sucks. Good point.
So what were the bengals doing that was kind of struggling you guys in the little bit.
A lot of teams are really playing in this red, this goal line style defense. When you get inside the fifteen, where is basically keep IT all in front of you don't give up a touchdown and hold IT. And when teams you're doing that, you've got to be able to run, run the ball.
You have the safety and dbs are played on the goal line, kind of sit there waiting on on everything I was passing guys off and zones and it's me prime position to be able to run the ball. And I think I think when we really started to get going, weve got to ball down. I think the ten in, the five on, almost all of those drives, I feel like the fifty four yard obviously been the exception there.
But neither to say we've got to be able to punch that thing and no matter what difference they are, run and find ways to put off seven points, man, because that's against a Better offence or against an offence that's click in a little bit more on over over the course of the game. Those those field goals turn in in a touchdown ance. I mean, those are daggers absolute dgba.
And I feel like teams across the league you have gone to this shift of from like the ten from like the twelve online in they've been playing that type of covers. Like zero is basically goal and difference, like you're saying from a coverage perspective. Yeah, yeah, men, it's been successful.
It's really start a lot of people out those areas of the field. And I is that new this year? That just me is that IT feels like team used to go to that. And like the six was like when I used to kind of really kick in IT feels like get to moved out a little bit further.
Now that accurate ten to five. I think you're here somewhere in there. Yeah yeah I wouldn't know what IT is though but yeah no.
what the exact i'm kind of thrown out areas of the field were felt like that would start to kick in. I don't know that holds up from an end a little good perspective, but um IT definite feels like it's moved further out than that you do yeah .
one hundred percent as if a checker .
was listed as questionable to play in this game after leaving last game with an injury. But of course, you know gonna hard to keep this guy out.
can keep multiple ilm or puppy comes .
back in a big way this week. But check, go, finish with one hundred and thirty yard and eighteen Carries. That's a pretty good .
on the day low poppy from jersey .
sun also at seven receptions for thirty five yards. That's a went over the one fifty mark total.
Oh yeah, baby.
protect your back in the line. I was running the ball a big part of the game plan this week. I think I mean IT always .
every game plan every game plan is when you get the runs like that um really just the back field that that can run like that. No one that we didn't ever quite Edwards my dog clad the class. He was an, he wasn't out this weekend, but hopefully we get him back this week and have strong for the playoff.
And then when you got I A around the ball like this, and I think the the office of line wanted to wanted to kind of make a statement, sure. And really just the collective group of everybody, we wanted to make a statement to come out, be physical play with energy and, uh, beyond the attack and what way to beyond attack? Uh, Better than run and right, actually well, yeah, I think I was a part of the gay plan.
There are a lot of people notice them to page co run offset IT on the show. And IT was all over twitter. Everybody noticed about how how mad the checker runs.
Angry runs. Baby is an angry runner .
man fighting the ground. Let's take a look at some of these comments from twitter. Carboy s court corner back, Jordan Lewis treated patio runs like he bite people .
that's prety like, but you the bitter.
I feel like your mike tyson was a running back.
One I was taking in the, I was taking in the other one when nature calls. Who is IT is the in .
the trial is IT Martin .
maybe I forget his name yeah not about yeah .
yeah around trill wethers .
on twitter .
said paja runs like a little kid testing out new shoes .
in the store.
I can see that trying to see what the grip feels like you're really stopped. Amen to see what yeah I mean, that's pretty .
eager is pretty good .
and I fell meves tweed patek le runs like a damn cartoon character. Ah he's got a little tasmanian devil in his steps.
He does he's got he's got tas energy for sure.
Bread ad kinsman petracco runs like super mario when the mystery box gives him a star.
I don't .
see that.
I don't .
see more was more smooth, was more daring rose in me.
I think I think he's more he's more projects les, more sonic than he's super mario. He like kind of gets going and then .
takes off me. And from jake and ball on twitter, I can't find the tweet, but the guy who said I 这个 runs like the kid who was not allowed to .
have sugar slept s the most astride as A I still think .
it's frightening with the ground like he's even a fifteen and boxing .
match with the ground。
Tasmania devils sums IT up for me. Rookie rice also had another huge game with the hundred and twenty yours and captions.
yeah big.
So Young filly zone, uh, he impact .
also connected on the cheese .
onest play of the entire season, a sixty seven year pass at the end of the third quarter.
Oh yeah.
rice only needs fifty eight more yards is set the the franchise rookie receiving record uh so uh, hope you guys don't rest them this next week, we will see what happens should receive be getting more often the rookie of the year consideration.
I think right now, I don't really give a shit about work of the year. I'm not i'm sure goals career one hundred percent IT was one of my goals and then I didn't play my but he's happened on a hell of year, man. I don't care if anybody gives them any consideration for right now.
He's playing in his best ball and we're going into late member early january now january, and that's when you want to be playing your best fuck in foobar mand. He's played confident attack in the ball when it's in the air, when he catches the ball, he knows where to go with IT immediately, which means he's seeing the field very well. And when you put in a lot of guys like that around papp the homes um of certain things, start click in a little bit more and we start moving the ball real well. And so I ve just i'm excited that he's getting a lot more comfortable out there and he's playing the way that we all know that he can.
Yeah, it's interesting because with most workers you see around this time of the year, the stats start to go the other way. They start to tail off and hit the rookie wall. But IT appears he receives playing his baseball right now, which is huge for the kids city chiefs.
Rushy does if I and tell me i'm wrong in this um i'm pretty sure rushy leads the league not just lucky he leads the league and yards after catch. So when he catches the body, he's and he's doing the most with IT and that that speaks volumes on what he brings to the to the table you know and that um if people are considering, they should think about that stand and consider irani but set out to see well.
the cheese defense closes out has another big game. They finish the game was six .
sex like to see a baby before coming in that that last drive. Man, when I tell you the place was absolutely electric, I believe. I mean, the stadium, the state, IT was loud.
IT was ferocious. Everybody was screaming their tail off on first, second, third, down on that all the fourth quarter drives when the defense was out there. And we felt that on the sidelines share enough. They get a big sac here, big sac there. And now everybody on the sideline is acting like just crazed animals at the zoo.
You've just just screaming and .
talking everything, getting excited about everything. Chest bump in yeah, just been electric in in in a static about your your tma successful and that is that that's the energy that I think we've been missing lead up to that game. Um then I think I think we have got a good vide by doing that.
You guys got a goodby the entire second half. He didn't allow them to discourse single point in the second half. The chief s have now held the opposition to twenty or fewer points, the league most twelve games this season.
Yeah, they held the banks to just eighty yards in the second half yesterday. As a unit, IT has been really, really fun to, while child dominant kinds, the city chiefs have been defensively. There is also a great clip going around from the chief social counts of requesting the song swag surfing on the cameras .
in the sideline. Oh yeah, the classic ban camera I tell to play or swag surf, tell, pass to worried up generally place, why exert? We really need that going to text message to a place to exert.
IT was played in the stadium. The next defence to drive the office was love IT. What is is her significance with this song in like the chiefs? Or is this just A A banger that you guys like?
I think it's always kind of been a um I mean, since I really want to say since i've been here, it's been a huge fourth quarter. Big time moment, big time, sit like drive in the game for our defense, they play a highlight video that has swag serponel, not as the song and and gets everybody hype.
Do you think this was answered? Or was this set up .
from the beginning to probably I heard that if .
you what songs on the island of the do habit, yeah so we do these like team meetings and everybody get to pick a song. Uh, not everybody, but they take a short 关。 And they asked me, like four weeks ago in our requested Y C. A, by the village people and they haven't asked me sense and they haven't.
listen you you get .
you a joke as I just kind of you be funny .
guys play IT and watch the fucking and room that exactly don't question me。 I need to play .
the get me .
started with locker of music. Don't lucky gave me started with locker of music. Now I understand why dad never listened to our fucking and music.
Growing up is so true is just something you get to a certain age like hello anymore.
They lost me.
I was all in a laughing tappy when I was in high school, but now I don't know what's happened. You play .
that over and I .
like, who gave you? Don't like, this is a bank lafta I an h IT wasn't me by shaggy? My two go to on the locks is not a Better.
not a bad combination, rather usually get a few people going. No, I think I think we've been known to uh, to go crazy on the sideline when the difference is out there. You know, this is typically like a like, I think I remember IT being like a two minute deal.
Two minute like time out in the midday that time out play this get everybody fired up for when they are often has to go back out on the field with the two minute drive or the two minute after the two minute warning. So yeah, about to Willy. I think the swag surfer did exactly what he he wanted IT to do. And that was make that stadium like k. Osman, and get the energy on the sideline going again.
Well, congrats on a beating your bid arrivals. And since and anti bengals lebron state of the game patching my homes joined holo, fair payment is the only players with four thousand plus passing yards in six or more of a player's first seven seasons. This is absolutely brand stand.
Well done. But impressive nonetheless. Way to go that are this good to week seventeen round up.
Get some quick thoughts about the biggest headlines a week seventeen, starting with the latest play of picture that's right, that the ravins of forty specially clans, number one, seeds and ac and nc rights labor um both teams are playing pretty amguard foobar right now and the asc and nc east divisions are both still up for grabs.
Bills and dolphins will be playing the division title next week and the eagles and catos are tied at the top of the N F C east. The jacks and cults and texans are all tied with the same record than A F C south nine and seven, and also have a chance to make the plays with the the win this next week. The box control their own destiny, and if they're at the panthers next week and they'll win the NFC south with the seahawks lost to the stealers, the rams officially clinch a playoff wild card spot. So a shout out to the rams um another note on the stealer sea ox game with stealers week seventeen win, they secure head coach mike time and seventeen consecutive man losing season. Holy how much they were talking about.
They were talking about fire seven years ago.
The media so dum. why? Why do we do the media? I was bunch of this, just a bunch of your fuck and talk in nonce where the best coaches, the n file ever even seen about the possibly get his seventeen th consecutive not losing season cheese.
I mean, listen.
what were you doing seventeen years ago? Games .
see, have been sick, have been .
high school.
And I think how all have been nineteen, nineteen years old. So I was that right as a college orgy house in college seventeen years ago.
And that's crazy. Is that nuts? That is .
nuts too. What in the hell is happening? I was a freshman in college seventeen years ago.
What the fuck? Welcome to reality on. Yeah, I was I had just gotten my driver's license suspended by the state of ohio.
so. We're totally my hammy down this dog hair band from from you. No.
that didn't even totally IT that .
just I had to get a silver back door, that's all. I just had to get a new back door on that thing. So IT was a purple van with a silver bag.
He called IT the, the silver bag, the purple dragon. Now he called the. And then, yeah.
And then, like a couple months after that, flying around with a few, the guys from the food ball team in the back, kids where seal don't do this, this was very done. And i'm glad everybody came out OK, who was lucky. But I swarm in an out of a traffic, and I hit three park cars.
Oh my gosh. yeah. How do you do that?
Long story, short breaks going to blame on the tires. I was about a fucked in thirty yard, fucking tired, smart, like skid mark going into these part cars. And I wasn't go in that fast.
I was only going probably like forty five months power. But he was pretty crazy. And i'm glad I came out. okay. And that the guy the guy, the people's cars um that I hit weren't too damaged so IT wasn't that crazy on the insurance but I did take give my license taken for this. So yeah, well.
I mean, that sounds like something you should have realize. Four.
one hundred percent. I put everybody's life in danger, so I just deserve that. He saw and don't do that. Show kids. Yes, please see a Better kid in me.
But there's one thing got to mess around with the motive.
It's crazy thing. My tamin hasn't had a losing season sense then though that's the whole .
point of this. That is the point of that's why we are talking about IT.
He is a fantastic coach.
Yeah, I don't know what else to say. shout. The mike surpassed pro football hall of famer George hillis for the third longest street of consecutive five hundred of Better seasons by the head coach in nf history.
Wow, that's only the third I mean.
kind of the brand step, but it's pretty good one. That's pretty good one. I i've heard from enough people in the pitch organization how great of a coach time on is are play his teams. And it's evidence sea hell especially is difference.
How do this guy is a hell of a coach? So whenever you see a guy is well respected as him, go through some stuff at the beginning, the season and the team still fights and perseveres and guess where they're at at this point. Um you know kudos in the dealers and coach Thompson and um yeah that just speak even more to the level of coaches for sure.
Back out the noise .
baby lions carboy is ending in catch versy. Um this is one that I ve got to watch you was happened on saturday night the carboys beat the lions training in nineteen and SAT saturday day night fall search on saturday night but yeah this is have curiously your point of this view, guys. I've had a similar plane because we have a very similar play, and I would love to dive into this because there's a lot being and made out of IT. I guess we'll walk you back for those you they didn't watch the game, the lions score to bring the game within one point right at the end of the game. I don't know how much time was left there, but there was seconds.
This was the two point .
of service I know, but they scored to go up within one point. Yes, the two point they decide to go for two on the ensuing next play. Cowboys take a time out on the first two point of them.
They're deciding what they want to run and they said, elector, run a eligible tackle play uh, that's in some ways a trick play yeah and the reason it's a little bit of a trick players deception involved and I know this because we've done the exact same thing the way IT works when you are when you have a tackle go into the game and you have six often of line on one of those, limon usually declared is eligible to be a potential receiving threat. And for the lions, that eligible player for this game was usually skip number seventy and apparently he had gone in before this play in on all the other jumble packages or extra tackle packages that they head. He would declare eligible.
He would be announced the stadium hate seventy is eligible uh, into the defense. This play is designed for tiger decor to go up and declare eligible with the officials tailor decor. Sorry, sorry, Taylor skipper, who runs on the field, is told to run at the official and make you look like your report.
That is actually the coaching point that we have had for this exact play that you want the deep fense to think that the same guide is reporting has already reported, but he supposed to not report not what took place on the field. I admit it's hard to say I don't there is a universal symbol for declaring, which is this that is the universal hey, I am reporting is eligible. I don't think I see skipper due to symbol and IT doesn't look like you get close enough to declare eligible.
I don't know what happened because I wasn't on the field, but I was supposed to happen is decor was supposed report, skipper was supposed to make IT look like he reported, and then decor was supposed to catch a two point of version past what you did. And i've heard people saying that they were the decor was covered. He wasn't.
If you go back and look at that tape, I thought I was really clever by the lines they had, the outside guy lineup two yards off the ball, and the inside guy lineup only a yard off. And you see the inside guy signaling to the official off the ball. You actually see them signaling, hey, i'm off in getting the OK, which would make that illegal formation if I would have been a reported the proper way from everyone involved. Either way, just a terrible way for this game to end, because that was executed to perfection. Perfection of the reporting fix baby, win the game.
Can you mean on a two point version?
Too thick too. Um yeah, that would have been amazing weight in the game. The thing that's more perplexing though, if i'm being honest, why did they go for two after that? Why didn't they just, kk, the extra point and they're on the seven yard line, I understand going for two at the two yard line. But what are the chances is at the seven airline you're going to get in there at that point? You've got a, you know, hey, alright.
let's keep the great group reads to try to make you the state. I mean, also .
we're sounds like I don't .
cable right? I don't cable one time IT sounds like that that's a possibility for sure. But if yeah, that things man.
holy tough. Man, that's tough.
And IT was so funny, the reporters asking all the cowboys players after the game, so how would you think of that last? You know, just just fortunate we came out with the win. Yeah.
the cowboy, low key. If you watch the drive before that, the cowboy had a chance to end with the ball their hands.
then you like games and way to.
yeah I thought, I mean, listen, I think the cowboys should have won the game the way they kind of made a blonder the previous play, which gave the lions the opportunity to go down there and .
win the .
game yeah and then the lions obviously made a blender. Well somebody made a blender on the end of the uh play uh for two points that ultimately um cost the game. But either way, there are some there's a very odd end of the game, just in general.
It's very odd odd in the game and um yeah hate to see IT hate to see IT when a big call like that um this is such a big the defining factor in a game man deciding .
factor that happened and broncos .
beat the charges in the division game sixteen and nine just a few days after they announce were benching dangerous Wilson. Dangerous rust told the media on friday that the broncos first threatened to bench him back in october if he didn't remove the injury guarantees from his contract.
According to sports illustrated, the bank's bench Wilson due to a thirty seven million dollar in injury protection scheduled to become guaranteed for twenty twenty five on the fifth day of the new league year in march. So um yes, i'm not fucking in sign in that shit. No, this is free.
This is why it's in the contract. That's sorry. So according to the file, this, what we agree upon this is IT.
This is the whole point of doing the contract according to the end of the networks in and rap up. The brackets are saying this is untrue. And they wanted to instead, instead push back Wilson's injury guarantees, not eliminate them all just like eliminate them for now.
So we wanted to reduce the and .
yeah and coach paid is also saying, uh, the benching a decision was football related, had nothing to do with the actual tract in the money, in everything.
Let's be honest, if the brokers as a team were performing and russians having a great year, they wouldn't be doing this. So I see where shop paints confirm is like listening, but these monetary things definitely make impacts in teams decisions to .
play gas until yeah .
and then us at the end of the year can have an effect either the way as to utilize whether they are eligible. You see IT more with guys that are, I guess, ruster bubble guys where it's like, hey, this guy gets another game, he gets a certain playtime bonus or a certain whatever, and you'll see some od decisions sometimes at the end seasons, especially when you're already out of the playoff.
Yeah, but I think something like this is never just about the injury protection. Usually got a got a few layers leveled into IT. Not fair to say i'm .
right there with you. I think there's the shit going on. And obviously, he said he should he said, SHE said from a lot .
of people shore.
now yeah think and I can't fucking talk to save my fucking life and I think yeah, everybody's kind of just like trying to stay away from the topic and say generic things that they kind of take the blame off of them or make IT not look like it's all about the money, which we all know is the fell. It's always all about the fucking money.
Yeah, I mean, you hate to see this happen to A A player with like the pedigree that rush as and what he's meant to the nfl yeah you know this isn't what anybody likes to see, especially a player.
It's like, you know it's a sucks IT does a suck .
too bad he's had a good run and he just .
signed a two hundred million doll contract that he's he's just real. And in patent .
um has not been happy with the offence. Peri and rap patent has been been happy with how his office has been running. He seen IT at a high level of jew breeze, and this wasn't IT.
They kept needing to simplify and pair IT down. They struggle to get place in, and IT rarely was running the speed he wanted. So I mean, I don't think that patents are lying. I think that those are probably all things that are frustrated .
to we all know when they do a sixty.
thirty for thirty, thirty for thirty.
and they one thirty, thirty, thirty, thirty, like sixty minute. Yes, thirty for thirty. Russia, elson, enough is clear. I think I think it'll be a fun one. Yeah I don't feel be tuned into.
uh, trying to defer the reasons behind russia sons benching .
yeah .
so let's move order throws drink on a fan who didn't .
see that common that .
is a crazy headline.
How long owner David .
tepper was caught on camera during the paint, there's twenty six, zero loss to the jasie el jaguar res, apparently throwing a drink in the direction of a jaguar's fan from his sweet at ever bank stadium, animal spokesperson brian a. Carthy said. The league is aware of the video and has no further comment at the time.
Watch this video and i've already seen IT, but I just want to see if you can I think you can tell that IT looks like IT definite, looks like something in's thrown. I mean, yet that he definitely, through a drink out of him, throwing like a drink or like spitting on somebody is just like, have you just punched me in the face? So I don't know what that is so much more disrespectful to somebody.
You might you need the .
actor like air of like, uh, like i'm Better than you in that like toss is say harsh.
I I think you're on to something like kind of with you on this like it's almost like noodle I like, fuck you yes, i'm high rapidly.
You yeah I only why like spending .
on someone, throwing a drink on someone.
I rather you just punched me in the face, this settle that you know, I don't need to the disrespect punching me in the face out of anger is not disrespectful. Throwing a drink on me.
you're speaking on me is disrespectful.
Does that make sense? IT.
就是 不好 主意 的。
I've been budged the face before. I can that as a new, but you like spitting.
I have a moment of reflection right there. I, why did I just keep punched in the face?
Did I deserve that? The point. And you like that, I deserve that.
A drink thrown on me. fuck. No, I did IT.
It's a good bit, but I never I .
don't know other people agree with that or not.
but I think the ninety guys agree with the the disrespect tiv they're getting punched in the face or thrown a drink on as more disrespectful.
Yes, let us know. Take up up, David.
Yeah, shout out the frustrating times that this guy is going to right now, just going to heckled by jewry fans. Now that .
is one thing .
he is doing.
If we're not get mad at us for this two hundred thousand other pay.
we get we a day that is. Yeah, he owns the stadium. They were.
And so he does coin toss suspension. This wasn't this week. This is actually week sixteen. But the packet ers were without their star corner back this week in week seventeen. Gear Alexander, this was a serious .
IT was pretty .
funny men this week against the vikings y he was suspended. But last week when they played to actually in, Alexander appointed himself as a captain for the packing er's a week sixteen gave this so funny I can only need but he participated in the coin, tom, when he wasn't supposed to be out there, that is, the coaches didn't write him down as a captain. So i'm pretty sure that it's actually IT might be illegal to do this.
to be honest.
No idea. I have no idea either. But during the coin toss, Alexander critical crashed the coin toss, and he called tails won the toss electric. nice. Like you're going to this shit.
Do you go out there? win. The house are good.
And Alexander was asked about his decision on whether he wanted the ball or to the to defer or to kick, which is the third one that you probably never want to actually say.
You don't even want to be offered that option. I don't even IT shouldn't be an option at this point.
During the toss that Alexander crashed, he called tales on the toss, but then said the packers wanted to be on defense. Instead of correctly saying differ r, which means you differ to the second half to see whether now you want to receive.
which is essentially your study and difference. yes. I mean, i'm kind of with it's funny that you don't .
say if you have to say yeah .
yeah but like everybody does know like he's not thinking. We all know he's not thinking. I don't in officials have caught on now they don't only me give you the upshaw or they right after they know you're winning IT, they say, would you like to receive a defer like they know that nobody's proposed as I kick but that was actually funny when he just said defense. And then this is so defer and he just said, yeah.
defense like you. Alexander quotes after the game, it's only shooting. I don't think coach knew I was from ah the guys backed me up, so his image back him up and they knew I was from here.
I said I want our defense to be out there. They all looked at me like I was crazy. I mean, it's pretty simple what I said. He was like the fur question, mark. I'm like, yeah, everybody was laughing.
Could you imagine .
I love there is like something like protocol, like you have to say the right magic word to get what you want and and exactly he's just out like receive like the defenses out first, my office is out first. Like who gives a shit how I say.
you know what I want, I don't want to kick. I kind of feel like I should be often or different at this point. Let's stop doing .
kick receiver different? No, I think often to do know that up.
It's so let's give some context here. So a lot of teams in the nfl, I think andy in the chief s are one of them. He certainly was like this in filali .
again by game captain everything .
game by game captains in most of the time, if wherever the game is being played, if when it's in a way game, a lot of the times the headway ach will pick players if they are from that area or so we clevi he would make one of us the captain for the client brother or if you played for that organization, the driver he said if you're a former um boy you're playing the cowboys if make .
you cant get you for yeah that's .
what he's saying what he saying he's from um i'm assuming that the floor does game by game captains if this is happening but maybe not I would .
assume so as well.
Clearly, there was coach wasn't happy because he was bench for the following week. Either way, absolutely hilarious. That is, replace hilary .
story and he won the all.
So you can be that made 来着。
Yeah, you came. You too bad. You help in the team.
You heard in the team, I have never seen first hand audited going to. Somebody missed up, but I ve seen a video.
I'm pretty sure we almost fucked IT up in the super bowl, superbowl playoffs. Forget when I was I think doesn't call kind .
of like really like I wish .
I shouted know the story coming into IT I don't have not .
probably just said, yeah i'd .
remember IT kind of go on shaky and then somebody stepped up and corrected the the what was the wrong call to to the right call. It's definite held in the league where team is kicked off twice, I hate to say, but I think I might be like a tt situation. The tb screw at one time.
I could be wrong, but I think the ravens, maybe there's a team that so there are the reason that there is an option to kick before the nfl was. So offensively dominated teams, I guess, would potentially choose that, which is crazy to think, which essentially would mean your defend starts both haves. Um but I could be wrong, but I think that this intentionally happened.
There was a really bad weather game one year and I believe I want to say with the ravens, but one of the teams started off on defense because there are like if we get the ball, there's only there's just a high chance we're going to have a turn covers on my that yeah I don't know what year was or if that happened, you could all be in my head. New height, stand the week, look behind it's hand out some stamps to the players who took their games and new heights and which of the nfl season new hutch day of the week is brought you by our friends and accelerator. The energy drink is available on amazon this week.
I think i'm going with a former team in in mind bills corner back razee, Douglas razee. We played with me and filled alpha and rt mage for a long time. He was a lucky favorite, awesome guy, and it's been great to see him flourish in the bill's defense. This past week had two picks against the pats in the bills twenty seven twenty one win this week one of his pics return for a forty year pig six dial and tried to bills acquired uh razee from the packers and week nine and Douglas has been a leading believe and take away with six .
that's pretty good have good of a ear man when to take your game to new high speed of had a bunch respect for a raster as I played on a few different teams nice bears wide receiver DJ more, taking his game to new heights, had a nine receptions for one hundred and fifty nine yards in a toti in the bears thirty seven seventeen win over the falkland more had a pretty crazy thirty two r cats at the end of the first quarter where he was tilting his head all the way back to track fields pass.
Uh this Justin fields and when he was asked about the catch after the game, Moore said that he couldn't even really see the ball in qual kind of got my way. So I had a track then blind catch IT IT was like, thank goodness I got this. Just have to trust myself to catch. And I and I really did IT. Well, I mean, sometimes you have to throw your hands out their men to shoot your hands.
He said.
lot of IT yeah he smooth IT to put a global man .
is just in field .
beny the jet nice yeah, shout out the DJ more man has always had a bunch of respect form. Uh, obviously with the bears for the is first year with the bears and had a huge, huge game, a late season men shout out to DJ for taking the game in new heights .
