Oh yeah, here are you. I don't know. They can see me up, but are going to see me after this, introducing the six foot two corpora g at a White house high school. Our guess is a four time probable, or in a olympic super able champion, the guy that travis catties four on occasion, wo he's running to get in travels of flicking for the fifty episode we will come number fifteen, pat my homes, everyone.

哇。 I like, I like to say six two and one fourth, the hair adds a little bit. And no.

the band I was, the band measured. No.

I was definitely six two.

exactly at the combine. They they went straight through the hair. They went, I got to have the hair up along a little bit, a little extra link, and they put a little pin to straight through and got me.

they got me too. I'm not six, five and six, four and seven.

eight about the fucking .

guy like you talking.

Get at me. Come back. Gets everybody thought I was six thing my whole life.

Get to the combine, six, two and five years. Yeah, the moralizing. Well, well, come to number one sports podcast in the world.

pet. It's an honor to have you here. How do you feel nervous at all? You.

i'm extremely nervous, not because of travis, because of Jason and those sunley ses. I mean, those things, how can they not intimidate you?

You put a moment and wears the sunglasses at night. Are you kidding me? Is, is IT too bright? right? Like too bright, baby.

I don't know, I said pani saw you were your sunglasses for the game this week and I just I felt inspired and I didn't have anything that cool. So I actually just went in bottom you five seconds ago before you came in.

I expand oakly cyclopes ses .

goes fired up with the thing.

You didn't have the bar and I could have sent out there.

No, I was supported .

looking at. I appreciate the support.

right? Man, well.

try what we got coming up on the episode.

We appreciate you come through. Big guy, we got. This is not a traditional interview. I mean, i'm sure for even professional now to conduct an interview.

Uh, so this is just to be a fun hottle man, three dudes in the league and we've got some questions teeth up for you. But obviously feel free to talk about any topic here. Auto, any type way, you know how? And no one intended. But first, Jason, we ve got to start with our favorite segment, men.

no.

One, three, two.

one.

no.

no, really hit that high.

Make IT .

make IT home down .

down like .

that is a .

very taxes.

baby.

Well, we just got a quick one the day for the new news. So obviously, we ve got that here and we're going to take our audience behind the scenes to reveal how this came together. But first of all, unfortunate, I was unable to be there with you guys. I really wanted to be there. But on to state the cheese wouldn't let me in the building and .

we know how fucked and sneaky you are, dude.

Well, I think that's what IT comes down. You know I ve seen the eagles trusted travis. He's a very trustworthy person and um so what's good shit on guys? They just they really did not think that, uh, they want to open the door for me and you know what? They make sense because I had a sneaky camera and I was going to take photos of everything in case we made in the super. I was going all of that.

You so good job .

by chief security to keep me out. But this set up works non the left.

Make sure that I stuck in that giraffe room. Man, I know what you guy's future looks like. Wow, you don't even know.

Prove there's no well.

there's no little .

do you know travis, how we ten steps ahead of you? Little do you know how he is ten sets of here and he's a decoy draft that was the decoy draft viewer is alright um but did did you feel the pressure on twitter to come on the show or to travel? How did invited you on here? I feel like there is so many things happening.

What LED to this? I think I think you know more than anybody that travis, the worst planner so he actually a thing was like week three or four is kind of walk by me in in the remove just like, hey, you want to come in the show and I was like, yeah for sure, men never heard anything else until you came at me on twitter so yeah, no, travis man, he was the worst planner in .

amErica and shit man, I was literally go I walked into a bit. I was like on the drive and i'm like you i'm going to ask him today. Do when I ask me soon as I see him, i'm going to just like, do you want to come on show? And I the first time I saw you were just impressing and I was like those shortage conversation.

He was walking up the steps like going to the title room and i'm still in here but to have my meeting cubs and he just a quick just going to be on the .

show and I would just like what think about IT .

back but it's not a bad charge is kind like a bolt ay just just a defence .

of guard if you think they're quicking to snap IT, you know in .

you want going to show great sea. Well, thank you so much for coming on new heights. We've got some fan base names we've been looking at to try and figure out what we're going to call the viewers of the new heights podcast. So far, we've had new hydro gins, new height screws.

We get a lot of like bandits and kind of like you know names that are um names of my chiff thrown around there, the new heights ninety two percenters, an ode to made up cortex x nee percents that I did on the show. But it's become a reality somehow. Um another .

one you made that .

thought of well, I think was I think i've heard IT, I believed but it's for sure it's .

got to be up there. It's got to be up to ninety.

right? I mean i'm like ninety five percent and one nee APP short of being. Do I mean, I believe in the quarterback sneak as well.

but just sometimes you kids to watch off the .

cats is that after watching that cordia snake, I think that makes a ton of sense that you don't do cortex. And yes, you're a bit more valuable. Let's know a great company this court. Well.

I will say I know you've talked about IT before, but yeah I was IT was a third down and deveria believe maybe a fourth down and I got the first down and and he fell on my knee and I remember being on the ground and just looking at IT. And my knee cap was in the side of my cafe and I didn't know what to do. So I I just froze up. And the worst part was the reaction from every teammate I have, you know, guys.

usually I had dude .

running fifty yards away from me, just running down the other side of the field. But yeah.

that the body .

writer.

readers of my my house yelling, get off me, get off me, kid off me and I can't move. I can't move what you want me to do. My nee cap is in the back of my leg. So what am I post to do?

So I the us, to take me for the team and just kind of lay and they're making sure everything the storm called.

it's honestly create. And you came back later that game you didn't miss any time.

Yeah so I actually I went out of the game. I went back to the locker room and how to get the extra and stuff like that. And I was funny short as they hit me with the, oh, you look at everything's that you look good, look good.

And so I went back in the locker and I was ready to go back on the field. And they had, like dinner, the intern trainers in there with you at that point. And I walked up to the guy and I was just like, hey, my going back out there, he is like, looking around you like, um no, no, no, sorry, you you know and i'm like, then you know me, i'm flipped out. Why not? I need fun. They said, negative.

wrong place, wrong time.

But now, but I was I haven't sit out for like two weeks, but they made me set out. I was I practice on wednesday, the next week. So I was I was trying to get back in there. But you know the team was trying .

to be smart in a precautionary ready in the back .

of your caffe. They should wait for further dig.

I I was pretty, I was pretty hype. I have small cafes, and so I made was.

Save that picture like, okay, so what these kids need to look like that some good ship right there.

Pat, now that you've on the show, the new heights name we've been thinking about, what about new heights mahomet, is that you kind of already have them. The home is out there. We don't want to interfere with the foundation work.

Yeah, I think I mean, I love my hometown, but for you it's going to be new heights homes because I mean, you get there thousand eight new heights homes. I mean that this flows off a little bit Better than the my homes, you know, I mean, so I think I like that one, but I like, I like what was the first on hooligans? I like that one two. That one two that fit chall perfectly.

Will go back to our conversation with pat in just a minute. But if there's one thing you guys watching already know is that I have strong opinions on food, so I would never bring up anything less than the best, which is why we're really excited to partner with factor factor shops, preps cooks and delivers to your door so you can enjoy chef cater, dietitian proved meals during the holidays, minus the hassle, plus with thirty four meals per week, you have plenty of nutritious, flavorful options to chose.

From fact, we now offer thirty four meals per week and thirty six plus at on options like smoothies, juices, snacks and more to keep going no matter what I have going on. And what will be super helpful to me is stressing less over meal time factors, no prep, no mess, meals free up time, otherwise spent shopping, cooking and doing clean up, so you can fully enjoy the holidays without wasting hours in the kitchen. So had to go dot factor seventy five dot com slash new heights sixty and use code new heights sixty to get sixty percent off your first box that's code new height sixty at go dut factor seventy five dot com slash new heights sixty to get sixty percent off your first box. Look quick just heads up were recording this just a couple of days after the charges try and .

keep going oh, right now let's get to the to the actual episode de twelve big topics with my guy, pat. Jason leads us off with the biggest and most, most, most important question of all. This is thought you .

going to do that again? We taken that.

I thought that was pretty smooth sometime. I had the little list there now.

And then you were the biggest question on our audiences mind, and really on our mind, we've all been drafted by andy read. So we ve got to pay image to andy read. And I think the only way to do IT is to have a burger rating, the burger king himself.

Andy read, king burger aficionado. We've had a little bit of a debate on our show about what's the best burger joint. yes. So we want to hear from you out of these three, you got in and out five guys.

What about her was .

made to the punch.

I mean, yeah, was like he was he was just waiting for her to come out of my mouth and almost came out like.

what a burgers, what a burger in so you were being a little kid, that group in texas and water Better being down the street and mom, just like, I mean, i'm at work. What you going to do for food? I mean, I had a go water burger like every other day.

And I fell in love with IT. I've tried to get travis in on in a little bit. I brought him to cans, a city. But the burgers, I mean, first of a world class and then they actually have a variety of things that you can get. And I i've put was on honeybunch chicken, which is a little little breakfast sandwich that they have there is really slept on unless .

you're from text, I just like saying .

and it's these guys got great.

great in their naming, i'm going to go to what about going get a honeywell tricking the basic what is IT called the about about .

the best skin?

They chicken, barbecue cheese, texas to sandwich and there so much, there's a variety there .

that's fit if it's so morning, obviously going with a ha Better chicken biscuit, but if it's any time like past midnight and i'm hammered, i'm going water burger that barbee cute, the barking sandwich, that chicken sandwich .

on texas toast and then put the the kind of final stamp on IT the best catch up i've ever eaten. As someone who's a catch up console mean, that's a very, very high praise.

Where is that just behind fifty seven .

now do you if you the fancy catch up at water burger is special, IT is completely .

what makes it's called, never had.

It's called fancy kitch. It's called fancy kitchen. I think there's GTA be like a thousand more milligrams assail. This is.

this is crazy news. So this is where your love for catch have started.

Yes.

water berg.

the first every.

So i'm now convinced i've never been to water bugger, and I really want to try, but I convinced these guys are the advertising kings and how do we make care?

Catch up Better, call IT things, is you. Killing, and I didn't even realize they were killing in like that. awesome. Any up on the east coast.

I hadn't ever seen IT up. So I have to go to texas to you now. So we actually .

have brought on the kanda city. now. There is a couple in florida and a couple of o but oklahoma, until kinds of city was the most north we've ever been. And so I was working my magic in there, met the right people there in dallas, texas, and got him to bring IT, the canada city. And the chief kingdom has loved IT so far, going to keep .

that thing go.

I know what i'm getting next time of in casey here.

do you know IT? Well, let's move on to these andy. Read stories, men. And I know i've got a plath reb, a man, and take us back to the first day you kind of met coaching maybe was a draft day or was a did they bring you in before?

Yeah now so the the first day that I met, coach read, was at the facility. We had like the meetings, like the top thirty visits and so that was the first I really met him. They at that time there was like no time limit so I I was in there for like five hours just he just going through please go through place and i'm going you don't give you all the insight scoop, matt.

Maggie, who was our core bc coach now, was the office a coordinator? Then he he really liked to me. So he gave me the place there, go go over the night before. So coach reads finding out here alive on new heights podcast.

And so maggi.

let's go. So yeah, so of course, I crushed the meeting. I stayed up all night study in those plays. So this .

kid is not in. We got ourselves there.

And so the rest was history. And I met coach. He went over the place. We won't have some lunch. He had a couple cheese vergers um and then we went back and I went on back on the board and I seemed like I was a gou in a sense, every single plan.

every check that's lucky epic, the ngs man, it's been awesome.

Have mags back. He's the best man and I love caky great to new york was a .

play with A T mate with j and my .

my first courter backroom. My cake was the one of the back of courter backs. Matt magi was the quality control coach in there. Dug Peterson was a cordia g coach and andy was a .

head coach that was right there.

Crazy to see how all of .

their folds I was in there one .

ah he was in my second year. He got draft second year.

Yeah, I know. But it's crazy to see men that mean every coach that long and you know this with coach read and and now his tree is like every coach that in that building starts off quality controller and within like five, ten years as a head coach somewhere says .

there's I got he's got the magic formula men, he's got the end in x next obviously had a stint in chicago. But himba an back when is his energy and his ability to teach the the certain place that he's he's teaching in in terms of the past game man IT just makes us so much easier on guys, especially on like a transition year word. We got a lot of new faces in the wide receiver room. You can say enough about how the coaching staff has made IT easy for guys to come in, learn the office and play free.

Men, yes, it's it's been for men. And obviously we have eb two who eb is that guy that can get the best out of you um and and get the most start of you everyday holds people accountable and then they have a guy like Maggie who's another form of a teacher. It's so good to be able to hit him with both both ways of teaching to get the best out of everybody.

A lot of people don't understand is that the cub room is arguably the most competitive situation every single day. Like I when I tell you, I hear the Maggie arguing about a rule of like how they're gona judge a certain points, like it's every single it's every single day on like who's the who's put together the blitz cards, who's put your mean and it's just it's it's little stuff like that and it's just also competitive. And they all talk about the one of most fascinating .

everything. And I I would say i'm kind of an asset about the blight protection, crying. I want that the protein before we have to step into the game.

I have, yeah, I can't say things on the show, but yeah, I get very animate when IT comes the the card scout team looks let's pick up do i've i've .

literally got in a so piece that i've and I had to real IT back because it's just practice, but I i'll literally go up and yelled at at the people across me. It's like they're not kind of what can do IT like that. Don't play inside leverage when a single eye don't don't care if I got I breaking out, let me make me work to get this get open in this road.

So in their defense, um the guides are out there, especially during the walters aren't in the meets where we're making a lot of these decisions a lot. It's so like it's oh yeah when this guys outside level to tear, when the city, when the field safety that this uh spot of the field it's going to be there or uh, the boundary safety here like and then you've out there, those guys, we're just doing like a generic look and it's not tight to IT at all.

It's strating. That's the worst. And i'll call him out immediately. Just yell and kitchen cards right? You took cards right the whole time.

For those of you that don't necessary know what the cards are, everything, the defense, when the offense is first, team offence is up, will have a scouted cards to give a good look on what we think that the defence will play in the game so that each what is a strategy alone, each situation will have a good idea of how to run something. Are the certain type of look that we're expecting good? And sometimes the looks are just like I got nothing on that play.

I think .

it's a mark of a good team though, like when you when you're focused on the details, that makes a big difference and it's hard to get those details right for a scouts team in the middle a week. But yeah, it's frustrating for sure.

Well, let's go back to to any read in the two thousand seventeen draft, men makes the alex Smith trade in eighteen. Was their passing of the torch kind of like conversation? I mean, you you and alex were like brothers, you know. I mean, IT was IT was awesome to see how he embraced that situation, how you embrace this situation that that year was so much fun as because alex had his best year you really mean so and we we took office and offence but um just a touching on that. Was there any like between you and culture between you and alex kind of that passion in the torch?

Yeah, I think IT was more me and alex at that time. I just think a man, I mean, he he could he could have been someone that just kind of one often did his own thing but he welcomed me into that quarter backroom yeah I know i'm getting all serious now, but like like he didn't have to do that.

I mean, he could have just went out there and and done his thing and been a great correct like he was that year and let me be on my own, but he taught me so much and helped me become a Better player. Because comment from college, do you use to go out there and you you ball, you just use figured out out there. But I learned how you become a pro.

And I think that's what made me have so much success. Early in my career was I was just watched actions like I want to do that. I need to do this, prepare myself and so after he got trade that thanked him um had a great relationship with his family, I still do him and toho um we would put the gulf term out there. But he did at the right way, man, and that's why he had so much success in his career. I think you've been to test to that man even before I was here, he was having success.

This a prose pro man, you can say enough about smitty man you're talking about kind of like how he thought you, how to be a fashionably. He taught me just in his actions alone, tell the story of how you, the wives and girlfriends were in a volleyball league. Yes, the wives and girlfriends of the team were in a volleyball league.

So we made in our job on tuesdays and just go and at least you show me some support that they show us on game day, shows up on their game day. And I pull up on patent at the car and he's got this snowball, and I, as he's watching film, but this new book is just full of like, shit that I can even read. And I was trying to figure out what he's doing.

And i'm to like, man, I doing that, I need to be doing that. He was that guys take a note like what he do in there. But I was just like he did he teach you a certain level of like a profession like little like nuggets of gold like that like a i'm not even sure what to even ask in terms of that because I think the biggest .

ideas different from me was teach me what I need to watch film wise during the week, what days to watch IT to prepare yourself for the next day. And for me now, I come in monday, tuesday, and i'm just watching games. I obviously watched the game we play the day before, but i'm watching like five to six games of the other team just to get a general since of the feeling of what they are doing.

And then after we put the base installed plan in, I watch, I watched the third down cut up before I leave the building that day, because alex did that, I told me to the day ahead on the third downs us up in here and we get the plan in here. Let me have a day ahead on that. And then the same thing, the next day with the red zone and then the short argan goon, it's the same every day.

I kind of would just add a little by little. So IT didn't overwhelm and I wasn't watching so much film that wants, but I have a good feeling for each situation in the game, and IT helps me so much because. Instead of just playing out there, when I get in situations in the game, I have a good feeling for the difference slick to these coverage. They like to pay this leverage on the db with the dbs, and he helps me excute at a high level. So have an alex men all forever say A A A A prime made my game jump ah three steps when when I could took three years to get those three steps one .

hundred percent man. There was probably a lot of trial and air through that guys career that got him to the point where he got that that perfect routine monday through friday.

The guy had, the guy had seven officers coordinators in six years in santa gen. I mean, he literally had to learn about like to the trail by fire. And he taught me how to not make those same mistakes in from little things like in the in the center out i'm coming from the shotgun every single play he's like, hey, have your feet like this. I'll help you get get out from under center faster. I mean, like this little things like that you would never think .

of when you step into the league that guys you can lean on, man, you don't realize how much they they change your perspective on the game until I, I want to say, until they leave. But for me, that was huge for a guy like Anthony personal, my first couple years coming in and just observing how he's a professional monday through friday.

And to find those routine things to keep your body fresh every sunday, you ve got to do certain stuff in the way room, on the field and recovery in all this stuff. And anthon, he did. He didn't have to do that.

Like you said, there's a lot of guys out here there saying I am not a mentor man on not out here. No bullshit. If you're a team guy, you're going to help the guy next. You, no matter of the world, things he's Better than you are not you. Me, like I genuinely i'd love feeding the tights that come into this building with as much information as I could possibly give him on how to get open and around how to be more comfortable in this offence. Um if you're not to help them out, the kind as to what we fuck do is and in in more times and .

not that doesn't work out for the other guy that doesn't want to help him because usually the guy that doesn't want to help him is not helping because of like some perceived job security threat. And i've seen that not workout so many times. Most of the times when of that is willing to to help somebody else. Not only you help in that guy, you're help in the room, you're help in the team, you're helping like the entire culture. And and you know, the way this business works is when you're win in, everybody gets taken care of everybody.

And I read the reason why all those coaches keep you in hired of words, because he wins, right? He sets up these cultures that are successful and um you know I think all of all of us are unfortunate, be on good cultures where you see that most of the time be the case and um IT does go a long way. IT goes a long way even not even not even specifically helping, just being welcoming man, just like being A A good person. Welcoming and having confidence in the Younger guy is sometimes like the biggest thing you can do .

do yeah so and on the other end of that too, the guy that's the Young guy has to show that they're doing in the right way. That's the that's the biggest thing. And I think that's what alex kind of understood about me was I didn't I wasn't going around like asking like what you doing here, here, here.

I would just follow him and just learn, hey, what time you're going to be in the building on monday when we ever off day. He's like i'm coming in at night and i'm there eight, forty five sitting in the room away from to get there. So just stuff like that. That's how you that's how you get Better in this game.

That's also stuff men. Get back to andre doman. The commercial was my favorite stay farm commercial of all bucking time.

You got some good stay farm commercial. They do the right over there. Um how did how did the commercial go about that? Because it's not easy to get code to do.

Sold their Jason? no. So like we're having the problem with travis right now.

I was terrified to ask him to beyond commercial. So they asked me first they were like, hey, U. S. Go try to be in the commercial and I said one hundred percent and not, I will not ask him to do that and so so I said, if you all want to, I mean, go head, do you think and so they asked him.

He asked me first that you called me doing this like, if you wanted me to do not like I would love IT and to be a hilarious and so, uh, we got I do so I get there and he's already on said and he's art student and because he's he's the start of the that commercial, he's start of the show and so I come I come on I can just see, you know you know coach reads, look at man, he he was not having. He has been on over a couple hours. He was not having at that point yeah then he turned around and seize that.

Must ash on me frighten his day up? He's frighten his day. All the son he's crack and joke she's he's at been making his own lines up.

Everything did. So that was a classic. I got IT early, and I IT immediately to tram. And I was like, do you got to a watch this? I was.

I showed everybody, man, and that he was awesome.

I see you guys saying about all the place I got to make out there with taaoa. Would you guys one year? But it's such a big romance that even britain is jealous.

Treat IT out how jealous he was of your ganas relationship a few weeks ago. What were your honest first impressions of genus and my verse? What how did this romance come together?

是, 是 the story, the story. That's my call. bad. Look on me. But so obviously, I get here at the beginning of the beginning of the year and i'm still a rocky so know i'm just going to the motion and try to figure out the best way of kind of fit in.

Um and I think the first time that I I thought as I mean traveled, we're going na be we're going be connected throughout this. My entire career was, remember when we had the fourth precessing game, we used to have a little off time you had, like a little weekend you played on thursday, know coach read always would give you the the walk through the day before the actual walk through. And me being in a kid fresh out of college, had a couple of bodies there were rookie's with me. And they are like, let's, let's go out saturday. Men.

let's go out of the water on sunday.

Just got back from saint joes. We had a great Price season. So we go out and code that total us the next day at like eight o'clock, we will have a fifteen minute walk through done.

That's all you have on sunday. So I said eight along to my phone. I have, I go out with the Ricky, of course.

I get out there and I see old travis Kelsey out of the same spot as I am unlike try travel like travel come on here all come to come over here to the table. Let's have a great time so I I have a great night. Um get home.

I have all my arms, and I made sure of that. Ah go to sleep. Wake up, not to an alarm.

Wake up. Look at the TV. And I see eight fifteen on my TV spring on the resting thing. I didn't put my phone in the charger, so my phone died in worker mistake. And so drive to obviously drove to the facility extremely fast, dangerous.

You can overlook that the initial feeling of understanding that you're not going to make IT there on time. Is the most right drives? No, no, no, no, no. This is an mean. Immediately you just start telling yourself, how uselessly did you .

do this?

You suck and you're unaccountable.

Man, get together to complete the story. I get there and I get to the facility and where there are in the walk, they're obviously already go in. And I walk up to the door and like how the cheese facility is built, though defence does on the first side of the field and the office is on the other side. And I was like, there is no chance i'm walking through the defense late to get .

to the office side .

of the meanwhile, we're playing in the super bol champs. The patch is like the on opening night that week. And so I said in the workroom and i'm a sidner shaking my head and they call me up to the office.

I've like the max, fine, all these difference. I feel like an idiot and I just I thought I was so weird that the first question they asked me was where you would, travis and I was like, no, no, not at all. Why would you even ask that? And a long story short, a travis was also, he got there five minutes, but i'm .

going into the world like, and groups is up again, men, because i'm not to say i'm the tories, but I screw up a few times before and had been late. So I mean, my head about, i'm like mangoes, this kill me. I can even look at this guy in his eyes.

I'm going to be looking down at the ground while he tells me on the worst teammate ever, man. And I walk into the building in their like where you was pat last night? Where was pat at? I'll just like.

I'm not alone, let's I did that to get .

me I will say .

since then though, I believe me and travis have never been late again so that we've been on the straight arrow since then so I won't be lady.

I don't know about I think I don't think, I don't think coast read will stand me ever being late again so I after i'd make sure I get my us, I D go early.

I was like, one time in college. Do you member the college? Al, and since and I, if you were late for the friday morning lift, they would make you the whole thing to stadium steps oh yeah.

so yeah.

until the day showed .

up and I woke up.

same thing realized I was like in my street, cows went straighten into the stadium. I just start to the your two hour to have .

this is so that can respect .

that like this guy cares.

He feels bad about IT. He's doing IT in timberlands this way I was, I remember I used, I used to do what is I used to have like a psychological like and I mean, is back back in college like time. Like, I was really pressed about being late, so I would show up later.

Some like that. I would get told I got to be at that five, five o'clock stadium steff run. And I would fuck, I would be ready like I would be that was the only thing I was on time for.

And just like rocky balboa that he just like sprint the fuck out of them, I just be like, i'm getting Better today maybe so they're stop making me run state and steps and started making me push pennies on like the the weight room floor, which is not a sliver surface. And yeah, I had a push pending with my finger and I wasn't allowed play pushes. No, I ve never heard of penny pennies, pennies against a weight room floor. And I had to do IT in a figure, and I wasn't allowed to be to the term, couldn't get high for that once. So they beat me on the sick.

Thing i've done in college was you done like the roles you like you to get. Like, this is arrow role across the field. Well.

my first punishment, IT.

was a team punishment for everybody was missing class. The kings very hard to do that, but he played gitche role long as like everybody .

get your role long.

he played from like three, twenty three. Everybody y's just rolling and throwing up on my. This is psychological warfare by coach kings. Very out here. A texas test, though.

when you hear that song to this day, do you have like plover's dog like you .

like immediately? I hate you. I hate IT. I think about us how sick I was that that wednesday morning at four .

thirty before class over man as good ship.

Well, how is your guy's relationship changed since that first meeting? Like now travel, use a groomsmen with you. Like, I mean, you guys have been together for what's six years now?

Yeah, yeah, six years.

yeah. Let me let me know because the first time I actually remember me pet was in the locker just stepped him off. Just observing his rocky year was extremely cool. We are to talk about alex and how they both you know um kind of embrace their situation, which was awesome.

But pad immediately became a favorite in the locker room because of that you are in me because how good of a team made he was because of how how he embraced that entire situation knowing the elephant, the room um and he was just A A genuine natural like relative guide to everybody. And I think a lot of that like kind of you know goes back to you growing up in a locker room. You're being around all that with your father, play in the league and then i'll be and being around all these different walks of life, you know, mean, and his ability to relate to guide us as one of his biggest leadership qualities and test of that.

And I think that that was definitely what made me be like, man, this guy is a great teammate. He can ball. I just couldn't think of anything that you were doing wrong and except t shown up late with my si then IT was IT was cool to sea man. And then on top of that, obviously you took IT to a whole another level and got MVP the next year. So I had to make sure I got to get out of this tious school.

Man, no. And then I, like you said, as evolved over time, I think, which I think hj, and those two now from being in kan city a little bit here is I feel like we both love, and we put we work on us off in the building, but we like to have a good time and enjoy with the people that we kind were brought up with. And I love that about travis, is that he still hangs out all all his boys from cleveland heights.

Baby, you know him. And so 啊, he's still going out there, still here, of all my same boddie I hung out, played baseball, baseball, football with growing up. And we've kind of our groups that we kind of become friends because of that.

So we we like to have a good time when we play golf. I kind of, I feel like i've gotten travis in the golf even more because I like to play golf so much. We'd like to have people over to the houses.

I hope he invite me and all my family over to the house. I've been down there shown some hot with Jason in a little bit. So we we just like to have everyone just feel welcomed. And I think that's what has kind of built our relationship and it's kind of evolved in to what you'll see today.

one hundred percent. And that just makes a fun man. When you when when you're going to work with guys that you respect, that what guys are you love to have fun with man IT just makes every single day that much Better.

And especially when you get a big time on sunday. And um we talk about golf though men we've been um we've went to uh few golf foundation men um you got you got any favorites outside. I don't I feel like taaoa is the ultimate ah ta .

hoo is definitely ultimate. But I think our win in the just in timber lake golf, turney adam invitation, that was by far my favorite, because me and travis played out of our mind.

and I .

thought, you Carry this is.

So let me explain what happened the first day. The first day I like the street kee's put of all time, I call myself the J R Smith of putting because if you think J R Smith play basketball and five, three and and miss also great golfer, great, Better, way Better, safer than me. But he so I did well. I drove the ball well um and then I we mean travel trade off this kind of a second shots but like the first nine holes, I could not make one put and travis made all of them do.

When I get on the Green, I I get like the shakes. I'm not i'm the worse on the fuck. I am a mental headcase. I can see whether .

you get the belly potter.

He has .

a Candy shack .

goldin putter craze i've ever seen.

I'm going.

look no, no lions or anything on at no sweet spot, just a pizza hot iron and looks great.

looks great, think it's like fifty pounds but it's it's pure .

gold IT looks like first we're paid up with Michelle wee and and there actually playing out of their mind. And I and I feel like we were down for a little bit. And then we finally climb back to neck, neck and IT was like, their competitiveness and and us being like, man, we got to keep IT go and they are going to embarrass.

And then all the sudden, I roll in like a twenty footer. Don't know how I made IT, but I was a dead the whole .

time and then the rest .

just I just couldn't miss up the rest of the day.

I don't know. I've never been that he drained at least three on that back nine that were ten, fifteen, twenty plus. And IT was epic. And obviously you're in vegas. So is like the excitement at the end of that goal, from just LED to an epic evening at the A A.

I I. I was just as hot on the tables after that IT was a great week in the .

sounds mendous.

Because you guys do the gulf.

you guys do any other sports, you to pick ball and you guys get the basketball down there and travis basement, but big pick ball and filled out, we definitely .

get after IT in pick ball man there there's a big spot out here called chicken and pickle. Our guy get data over their helping alty he got IT he got me into IT I don't know how to explain rather than he was like, y you want to come down a chicken .

and pick on like what the fuck is that? That's exactly what I he's like. You go go play, pick ball. What this is five years ago, by the way, before the trend of pick ball. And so we go out there and i'm in there with my jeans and like nice shoes.

I'm like i'm it's like a bar .

of every time. I'm like, don't go too hard just and then all sun, i'm dripping in sway like holding my jeans above my is it's every time you .

should give flow on man. And but I feel like all competitive athletes don't neurally know the actual rules are pick ball. So we just like initially we play, i'm just playing a table, table.

table rules jorden. A lot of six, nine is serving over hands to me, but this is not acceptable. You cannot do this just ACE ACE aureole acy.

You got A W .

IT over. It's got about IT.

I didn't understand what the kitchen, the kid, I have never understood.

And with that was i'm just on the net entire. I thought the, I thought the red zone was for me.

I thought I was for three years. We just immediate tragedy who could get to the and pick .

up ball baby, who won't knew that thing would have took off the way that is. Man, we got to get a team going. Man, in a little export, eventually, hundred percent. We had, well, full try. Go for a gold.

Well, on the toy show interview that you have that you said you didn't even have a tight and in college, that's great, do you? And I don't even know. We kind of argued about this one of our last shows but is travels even at side. But anyways, what's, if you like.

the habits I did? No.

I would. You prefer .

this item? I love having .

a titan.

but IT IT was cool for me to see. I mean, I come from an office to spread. We we were throwing the ball over the yard, but that was all receivers and running back that could play receiver, all that different type of stuff and kind of like the eagles have out there.

But it's when I got I saw travis. I mean, obviously got blessed with travis as my first time in that I had seen. And I was just like, coming, this guy can be this big and he blocks, and then he runs routes like this, like this is awesome.

And so, yeah and so we've have been blessed that coach e does a great job of, given the tights involved in the office. One hundred percent. Travis, luckily enough for me, I think like the older gets, the Younger his legs git. So it's helped out have someone that could be that safety blanket for me. And it's been called to see him evolve because I mean, now I think he was in year six when I got here and now i'm in year six and he's still roll and is still making things happen right now.

I will say this or andy really definitely created like a new version of the title position. Yeah and without IT down, I think you kind of test to him being a title coach in Green bay. I'd love coaching.

He does little stuff like this. He opened the door in the tighten, and when all the tight and are just in at the table, we open the door. The tighter room is like, name one coach has ever had two probable tightens in one season where I was what is I mean, scout of the scout scout we have IT. It's like right here. And I guess, I guess he had two of them in a Green bay IT had to be Green day because I don't .

know where else he was a .

turning coach. Crazy even know that was possible, but I guess but far was out there slinging into the tight ends.

And so he's god, he's he is .

the coach. He was the time coach.

the time coach. But then he he moved onto courter backs and then moved onto oc and got the job and in filly. But I think that kind of understanding of how productive the titan rumor, how the miss matches could be, kind of when i'd got to as a city, I was traditional, I was a traditional White tight end, know.

I mean, I was, I was, I played the second titan because Fiona was the starting tight end for the first two years. But I I was I was kind of like that move guy. But when for sono left and I moved into the starting role, I was a White tie. I was run in power.

I was run in one back power, two back power in line block and on a lot of deep cross stuff um and then slowly started to step out away from the line and getting call this routes that we're running now, which is more right receiver style routes against against dbs known that we're gidding main coverage, I can use my ability to stem in and speed to get away and stuff. But he definitely recreated that title position for me. And I mean, obviously the coaches, coaches is done on like I oh everything in my career to that guy. But he definitely swashed IT up and made this offers more friendly for me to have success in the men.

And I I love .

him for that. No.

i'm a lot. That guy, oh do oh, everything and I believe that i've seen that Scott in pelt when it's like in cos like a bad a guy. At least two eighty five right there.

That was we had a good story about just take my home to .

like there's a whole highlight video from his college tape of him blocking and be and like an inline tide in.

you know, who made me, you know, made my coli like this, you baby, if you seen unseen footage of travel's Kelsey Jason Kelsey production baby.

I think it's still .

on my facebook.

My face maybe logged here. I logged in a while.

I try to do a my career rewind. Career rewind. I am sure whatever was.

Please give me some time to with drafts night. We all, we all have drafted day surprises. We shared jAiling, drafted, surprised about the eagles and that was awesome to hear.

And then obviously year drafted was was wild band. There was a lot of big time, big name quarter coming out. The bears traded up the number two and the chief traded up the number ten. Um did you know I mean actually knocked IT out the park at the interview out the park. Where did you know where you surprised with the .

chief or what you no, I I was surprised traded up so far to get mean, but I I knew so I had the whole draft process. I thought I wasn't be of late late first round pig and I I was honest, happy.

so much blowing. I but I was also .

happy about IT because when you're that late, first round is where you like the good the real good teams are and you're still the first rounds. So usually like you're like I can go to a good team b in a great situation. And as a process went on, I I kind of feeling that I was kind of going up in the draft and add a couple of teams that I think i've been out there now.

They said they were going to draft me and mean, that's true. Like it's not like these coaches are making that up. I'd talk to them during the draft. Just never like if you're there, we're we're going to take you.

And so i'm just going I kind of gave a little inside info to the cheese and was really, hey, if youll let me go anywhere below at the time, I don't know about the same. If i'll let me go twelve below, i'm going to get draft by someone else. You dry yourself. So I gave the cheese a little bit in a little IT, a little bit info on that. And now, because I wanted to be here, I anted to be here, my game, a little info on that.

And I don't know that who was that told that I knew right around there as well as and get drafted um and I tested I and text for a beach my age and talked to bad beach and the chief staff and remember at about pig nine or ten uh v cent my agent of little pitch of a red ratter a with the guns up and so I knew that the cheese were draft to me and I was cool and I was back home. I was back home with my family. I remember we I get drafted in all the study.

Obviously you're celebrating with the family, everything like that. And then we go to like the hole in the wall, barb, my dad, forever silk p and were planned darts with all my home metrical back home and my dad hold the world bar. It's like staining real IT was IT was an awe .

IT was a some sounds awesome .

Jason could live there yeah that sounds .

like my kind of establishment that is one of the most boler h draft day. So you basically talk them why didn't drift myself .

but I knew the cheese one of me and I just kind like ache if you let me get a little bit pass going to provide draft, they they came up at me and we are talking about the first year system. But I mean, like like we've all said, I mean being an organization like this and like you're in in philadelphia that that makes lot of guys careers even go even to be Better than that what they won't been. And so I was luck enough to being kanta city and surrounded by greatness. And they helped me become .

who I am today. I to ask Chris to mean that .

that the little picture you .

may get IT for you get IT for you, you lead us to a forth car comeback.

Hey, ryan les. Recently, I ask met mobile's legal team if big wireless companies are allowed to raise Prices due to inflation, they said yes. And then when I asked if raising Prices technically violates those owners to your contracts, they said, what the are you talking about? You can saying hollywood. So to recap, we're cutting the Price of men unlimited from thirty dollars a month to just fifteen dollars. Give you a try mid mobile dot com slash switch.

five dollars paid into dollers. These extra speed lower. The last time we talked about the draft day stuff, I didn't even say my drafts. This story, you in jail, and so share your old .

so i'm top about kicking and I was ready. One twenty seven west nickson.

oh yeah. So we're all over. Didn't ready for and I did I knew I was a day three guy, you know, I knew I was going to get draft above around four, but I thought I was going to get somewhere around four. And really, the only three teams interested in me, kinda city chief s, ironically, was the team. I thought I was going to get a drafts to two.

Who was that for now? Was that?

P. O, I was the G. M. At the time, and the head coach was tid, hey, thank you. And .

they seem.

yeah, he's lucked in. He's and I .

was .

either the chiefs, the saint Louis rams or the field of the eagles and the cheese selector addi hudson shut out the rodney unbeliever center. Still doing this thing. And when they pick him as I am, man, this is looking good. They pick him like second around as I, I don't know what's going to happen now he gets to like round six and I like to, this is not looking good. And I I looked at the my phone on the APP and as, okay, the eagles got like two picks in the six round back to bag and like maybe this happens and sure enough, for two, one, five number comes up and it's big rid and he's like first he asked me, like OK everything good? Yeah any injuries you wanted tell me about to anything i'm like not and i'm i'm good. I'm straight is a guy this is going to work on a hand the phone to are often to quarter our gm first high roseman that i'm in the hand of the phone to office got a money money week than the Howard md the office a line coach and um yeah and we're going to draft you with this next pic how you feel like my coach, i'm excited, is a guy you're ready to go as I ah a guy what did I just tell you? I'm like the test the first day.

the first thing.

the first vocal is like a man you can be playing in front of seventy five thousand people I need you to .

know and like that big with a win again.

I draft.

get us.

I don't know my dad crying right in front of right now. I don't know what is. He he probably gets .

a kick out of just the responses. He gets the most moments. Man, that's great. I did. Um we obviously know about the bears selected metal trims cue or you we just talked about them going up to number two. Even mitch himself form a clever guy would love mitch um any true to the two thousand nineteen moment against the the bears man the the one, two, three, four, five think we ve got ten fingers here. Tense pick man, yeah I mean.

of course but IT for me IT wasn't IT was never directed towards mitch. I I tone respect from mitch. Great guy. Let them to a lot of wins. You look back and I think he got a bad rap a little bit and me.

he LED them to a lot of wins or got bad. Yeah, different.

And so but I was more of when I left that meeting. You know, when you leave a building, you could have a feeling like I I did great there. There's how they were talk to me for sure if they if they're gonna take somebody that is gonna me.

And so I had that feeling kind of from a couple of teams and they were one of them um and so I I just felt like didn't feel disrespect. I won't like disrespected, but I I felt they give me the the kind of implication that they were going to take me then. So the first time I played, and I was pretty hiked up for the game, to say the least.

And so I think I believe you ve caught the touchdown right there. The touch down, the little voice, grape brow. But he he cut the touch down, and I let the emotions we, me and try to talk about this on of my ug.

And sometimes I do off in the field. I don't even remember doing that is kind of black out, do IT. And so once I saw that, they got in on video, try to wait to go out to the sideline.

I got IT on video, and of course, I knew the question was coming. And I just like, no, and I just check in my fingers, make sure they were all still there. So I .

these .

things work.

their working this something is nine so it's like .

out the nine works.

nine works. So we talk about the black out moment just a little bit. I think that um your excitement, you how locked in you get onto the game, that's really the black out moment.

It's not that you know, I promise you, I did this during the SBS man, I recently just, I did like little segments at the S. S. steff. Kerry absolutely rocked hosting IT, and that was cool to see. But I was doing little snipped here and there. My first in the sb, i'm reading the prompter perfect say alloted job c and pool host as they walk by and but I add little a little bit come back to IT and I just immediately just start to like I want to say black out, but I I do not remember finishing that's the sentence that was on the that was on the prompter and um I hear the music q and all the sun you know me they're going into the next scene and i'm looking at everybody and everybody y's looking me like you did great I was just like, I don't know what I just did. I don't know what I just said and I think that exactly and I have those moments, for whatever reason, where I just get so excited, so engulfed in the moment that I just I don't really think about what i'm doing in the moment.

I just kind, I just do IT I i'll be in the .

zone talking about two bowlers. You just in the zone this past game on sunday night, like going to autopilot. You guys got these minds that just you know when you when you're in in the moment, you can't Operate at that at the speed necessary to be that creative in that instinctual by thinking about doing that stuff is just like happens hard to explain.

But I think that that's exactly you guys are explaining like you're just truly in the moment and you reacting and IT takes a long time to get that comfortable doing something. And you know, I think the more prepared you are, the the the Better change you get to that. But you also kind of just got to be a special type of player man and not like to get to that level into to be able to make decisions correctly while also just kind of Operate on autopilot. It's kind of crazy to think about. But I mean, you definitely .

got that terrified, terrifying, like I want to my worst fears. I wanted the S. P. One time. And of course, I was at the sp.

They want me to come on stage and read little thing for the firefighters and L A. And how they we're out there battling fires when we played the runs at year. Mean so much respect.

I like one hundred percent. I'm doing this. So I wanted you to be great. So I memorized the whole speech before and I was like, i'm going to a straight off the memory i've practices in my mayor. I'm ready to go. And I remember I was looking out there and I was looking, you're talking, we don't want make direct contact with anyone in in the audience and so I was talking, I was kind of looking and I caught the teleprompter and I was like, oh, no, I got to just start reading IT. And of course, and IT comes up, IT starts coming up and i'm reading, i'm doing great sou and i'm like, and for all the firefighters know, the fighter fighters out there in south CarOlina.

southern my bad southern .

california and I now ever since in i'm terrified to teleport, you fix that though.

You fix IT though that was the thing you know mean you didn't just let IT ride south CarOlina, you know and that's the thing if you can fix that, you've gold IT don't matter the song proper not then I said what I said.

don't run burger to IT and we should not run burgonet .

just saying whatever was there.

Pretty good. Yeah so kind of move in on here. What was your what was your first o shit moment in the nfl? I i've had probably three or four of them against some big time guns. Jason referred to a blocking right Lewis for the first time but right Lewis.

london fleche like that moment where you're like men i'm really in the nfo right now like for me was always these older guys that you watch playing and all of a setting you like compete against them like he was crazy to me. But yeah, what was that for you?

For me, I was a game. IT was crazy as a game I didn't even play in IT was the first game we played. We played that when I was late to the meeting.

The the first game we play, we go to the go to new england on thursday night opening, they dropped the banner, all different type of stuff, remember, running out in the field and being like, holy like this. C nfl, I do. I was in patent go, and I was firing pado about just my love and fifty seeds down the side line, what you doing up and SAT.

I got to watch the game. Obviously, we had a heck of a game. Plane cream hunt had a heck of a game, and we lax.

And so we end up in that game. But to me, that was the first moment being like, man, this is the nfl we're in I watched tomb in my entire life. I we're playing tom brady. The new england patch is and .

there's nothing like that post super bowl show. Yeah like they build that thing. I like think I like like, like would he call float coming onto the field to like celebrate how many rings they have? And you're mean like this was like a second.

First start week seventeen of that season we play the dever broncos. We're fortunately enough to have the number one sea going into the last game. And yeah sad Alice smith, and let one five go out there and link IT in the snow. texas. Guy, man, I was that the coldest game over played in leading up to that point.

That was for sure the coldest game was eleven .

degrees ever, being on the silent and just being bundled up and then not doing a god dance.

Yeah, IT was IT was IT was cool men and we got to, we got to win. So that was awesome. They had mean, they had their guys plan. But I mean, you know, it's week sixteen, seventeen last game for the season.

So their plan, but ler is on the field. Yeah, it's to be. But the crazy.

the crazy is part of that game was we got up.

we end up going up twenty four to ten and and coach read, they end up taking me out of the game. IT was in the fourth quarter, and we were let tile bray play who a guy great guy, who had worked to tell off to be there and we had shown because we are running back and hurt you know where down numbers um and so sherman was playing running back full time like we at our full bag I don't know Anthony sherman for and so he he was playing running back in. We had outside zone called and he he ran inside don't that's all full back? Do so yeah a little miss hand off.

I'm not make out to take staying in this guard pocket ready here .

we had a little fumbled hand. The first play teleplay was in touched down and so that he has got touched down in now were in four minute mode and and when we go two runs, we get to like started six and we go pass and we're get to incompletion. They go right down the field of in the score, touch down entire the game. And so they ended up putting me back in the game, that game, and I was able to give us some fuel range and when we got the fugal to win. But i'll tell you well, when it's eleven agrees to get pulled out of the game and then put back into the game, got a rewards up and everything he said he wasn't pack.

get your helmet i'm aren't going back and stay back IT was IT was well orchestrated yeah I I got lucky though because you .

know like there's always like one starter that is stress, but he is not supposed to play well. We had to injury receiver and run back. So charm goes. And at running back and we bring Albert Wilson back and I received and I was like, well, i'm gona throw a to him every single time so he could have my twelve reception from the second quarter on flag one hundred and thirty yards. And he had two big receptions on that two minute drive.

Yeah, ever. Wis was also some that game that was fun when you were actually the first cub in thirty eight years to be drafted by kansas city and start in in your first year, hit an early milestone and just bit knock and amount ever since then. Man, just a kind of talk about just the early milestones that you hit him in the first year you actually started with took the league by storm, fifty five touchdowns M V P M V patman MV pat was IT was IT was IT shocking where you just on a roller coaster that you had no idea you are about to be honor.

That's exactly. And now that I look back on, and now i'm like, I was on this roller coast of just excitement, and I had no idea what I was doing, but I was, I was fun. Man, I want to do this story in there as well.

Like, I remember my first game, like tree had a huge game. The travel had one reception for six yard. And you look at our our relationship now and you would be like, that is crazy, but my dad tells us great stories is we win the game.

And travis know the team player is all hype them the locker. And that said, they go to like the family area. We like the family area. You see everybody and travels gets out there first and going to see the fame and everything.

Like you get to tell that travels was like, can't not down, but kind like, man, I could played Better and my dad, big silky p over there he said, what other and grab travels a you don't thought everybody, but so just know your times. Come in. Your times come in.

Next game we pay the stealer. Travis has one forty two touchdowns. And so in my dad city, gra mattera and acid travel came rota. Two man was like, I told you.

Be online online.

But the excitement mean we just we wrote that moment on the whole year, man and and we were out there soon and around scoring a lot of points um and IT was IT was a lot of fun men and winner that MVP was awesome. But I look at now and i'm just like I don't even appreciate how great that season want to have fun that season was. We end up blues there to change game. But IT was a great, I mean, obviously starting point to my career .

just to go out there and say, I can do IT Young listening to the podcast, man, the transition from high school to college, from college to the pros and being ready for all those moments. Man, do you have any like just advice or anything that you could just throw out there for these guys?

Yeah, I would say, be all in. If you you truly care about this thing. Man, be all in.

And when I look back at my career, I think about in college, I feel like I wasn't all in. I, I did everything else supposed to do. I I went to class.

I would go during the workouts and stuff like that when I was supposed to be there. But once I ve got to in to fail and saw what all in actually was, I realized what I didn't win more games in college. And so I I just think as if you're gonna try to chase these, follow them. But if you're going to follow and make sure that you're all in because in order to be great and to really succeed and to get to this part of your career, you have to be all in everyday.

You know, here, first, folks we've talking about for wow, Jason actually had a good story about koby saying, fueling yourself with knowledge. I feel like that as so much just Green, serious man, just be cared one of as much information as possible and just keep building that and building that.

I also had a really man. I think it's important to a test your boundaries. Man, yeah, like for me in cause like I thought in high school, I knew that hard work was. And then I got the college. You like, oh, my and like I have been working .

out at all colors. Workout are far the day and I kind .

of this is good for like every freshman and really workers to go through like my first work and I ever had the guy just IT was not even trying to be productive. He just trying to beat the crap out to me yeah.

And at the end of the workout, we did so much, everybody says, are, if you can take this boston balls, like those big rubber balls, you can take this thing hold above your head and ways about, like five pounds maybe, and walk around the hole, like jim, which was not that big. And since an edit, the time we had to build the new one yet, uh, then you can, you will have to clean up the way room I made IT like ten feet. Clean up the hot leg.

But like before you do that, before you push yourself to those limits, you don't know that you can actually go do that much work, you know. I mean, you don't know what truly being tired is and so important to get to those levels in just like you are same impact, man. Like you've got to be all in to get there.

You ve got to like you ve got to have faith and your coaches, your t mates and everybody that know by giving IT, you're all that it's going to work out so that you got a crazy stat out there. Then i'm about the job right now. So i've been playing football for twelve years.

This is my twelve season. We just had our first double digit come back win in the fourth quarter. In my entire career.

I would got into a real .

equal stand.

The last time they did IT was in two thousand and ten the year before I got there or something like that um IT was the miro metal lands with a Shawn jean big djack taking an apartment today .

I remember that.

So um pat, you have the highest win percentage when trAiling by ten plus points. You have a highest percentage of any quarterback in the history. The na fell above tom brady um why don't you just spot teams ten points?

Now then .

it's that's on best to give in.

No, it's it's common. I mean, I mean, I I know it's the quarter back answer, but IT takes way more than me. Um if you think about that stat that takes everybody. I mean the deceased shut the door, just kind of like this last week in L A. I mean, you look at the second against A L T that has freak playmakers everywhere.

Every the defence gives up one touch down on maculate catch on the go ball down the cylon on third nineteen yeah um so I mean IT takes the defense has got ta step up and shut the door IT takes the office just finding away. That's a lot of times, a lot times you go out there, you score fast and then the differences adjust and you to get in this little bit of a funk. And so when you can just find a way to just just this is keep pushing, this is keep pushing.

This is keep flying a way. And IT takes, IT takes leaders. I mean, I mean, obviously think of myself as a leader on the in the locker but you got travis, got Chris Jones, you got wily gay, got nick bolton, you ve got orlando Brown, you got joke everybody, they don't give up and nothing.

That's not a big thing. And I think we've done IT now a couple of times. And so what you're done a couple times, whatever you're in that, that situation, you're like we're going to we're going to find a way.

We don't know how, but we're going to find a way and the crazy wants to for sure that, that gets attacks in the playoff. I mean, what a change of events from how that game started and the the vision or around we get down twenty four zero. And it's like we can't find a way to to make anything positive happen.

And all the sudden they give us some life for the couple fumbles and all and we're back in the game. And so it's just guys believe in man and IT takes more than me if I think coach, read and coach the enemy. All these coach bags, they leaders, they don't stop call in plays.

They don't stop giving us a chance to make place. And i'm going to try to keep those numbers down so that we're not down in because it's not a great position to be in. But after there, we know we've .

done IT before there. My favorite in cosby enemy, as you know, has some of the quotes any football coach could ever have, one, one of my favorite ones. We have to find a way to drag our s across the finish. Okay, as long as we get across the finish line .

and I give IT down how we do did and you you got to give yourself a chance to a change to have a chair.

have a chain.

I mean, just ones that this ones that you would you hear all the time, you just come throw away and you're in those moments, you're like, we just got a drag. So how .

is good? happy. How much? Just .

shake his talk, like john, gary, oh, this guy just went inside of me, went outside of me. He went right through with the pipe for that. What do I do SHE give a difference.

what? what? Yeah, guess what makes you so good? Do you think in these late situations? Too many situations.

No, I know you. I like doing this. Like, I mean, what can you account to with so yeah.

i'm such an instinctual .

player like I don't know. Yeah, great. I think you see.

I think you see with all the grades um and and that's what i'm trying to to get to is at the end of the day, IT doesn't have it's not going to be perfect. It's not going to be the perfect pocket. It's not going to be the perfect the play cause not going be perfect every single time.

But how are you just going to find a way to to compete um and that sound that I pride myself on and I played every sport drawing up and I just want to win. I I didn't care how IT looked. I don't care how I I got done. I just wanted to win. And if you look at our even our last drive, mean, this last week, I mean, other than the last play, when IT kind of worked out perfectly, we had the man play called travel breaks, free winds and give scores. IT was like, we were courage, just making stuff happen on the fly.

And so it's, how can you be focused in chaos? How can you not let IT the moment be bigger than what IT is? And we've we've prepared us of coach puts us in those situations, all training camp order in the season and he in a lot times he puts the office in a situation where he is not looked dead as winnable ah um and so when you you've been put those situations, you're back to those fundamental of right.

We'll go to my reads. It's not i'm run and I will go to my reads. And if it's not, the more scramble and child get someone else open um and um IT takes everybody.

And I just tried to do whatever I kind of win at the end of the day and it's worked out well for me. But like you like I said early, I don't want to be in those situations of time. But if we were there.

I will be ready for. I feel like and this is a big shot out to time, but I feel like the standard of what those too many situations are at me, we've seen tom pretty be in a situation like that. And it's just, you know, in the back your mind like what's possible you are mean, and to be able to understand and be comfortable in the moment of what is possible.

You mean IT takes doubt and doesn't even make IT a situation. And a lot of that goes to our guy. Joe, blame mr. You every single saturday morning put in this through like a two minute Chris burn in two minutes or three minutes.

talking division three the after he said, school in in alabama, he has every two minute situation you've ever seen.

So we will put more this more into perspective, cost blame as our widely serious coast. But he does a lot, a lot on situation, football at at the end of half, at the end of game, so that we understand a lot of what's going on and to give more knowledge of what's possible on top of IT just being some of the most entertaining fluctuation, you see, we're bring the cow. Stanford, you know, the band is on the field.

He brought up the metal land, macon, the medal lands with the for. And he just makes IT at ease being in those moments, because we understand was possible. On top of, we ve got one five.

We ve got culturally down enough. We ve got the playmakers to make the place. And on top of that, we've seen what's possible before.

So there's a certain standard of art. What can we get done? What how we're going to attack him. And it's it's IT. We talked about kind of a little bit of a just feeling comfortable in that moment, but it's that this past sunday adversus the charges which IT wasn't necessary want to see he was a comfortable feeling but we knew that we two two time mouse left with a minute left um what is actually was possible, man and that only gave us confidence you know yeah well.

pad, you said a couple of seconds ago that you don't really care how IT looks, right. You just want to win. Well, for someone that doesn't get out. Look you you make look. Behind the back when you're doing all these like like unique things, these creative things, are these things that you practice before is a method to IT or you just like trying to .

have fun of sure practice. I try to put myself in situation in the all season and practice the side of on throws and no look throws and stuff like that, not the behind the back. Even though I want to, i'm scared to do IT. But now he doesn't.

In practice, I just scream, do IT in the day first, see shit now.

but you should try to prepare yourself for those moment. You mean the end of the quarter by position chain so much? Um and like I said, everything is not perfect. I mean these d lemon have gotten Better and Better, which I know you know and so and so this should .

be so easy. Fires on over here, fires over there. We .

got .

this.

But these tests where the work that I come from up.

and then, and then in my baseball background, I get the sad ARM stuff. But I will say, when i'm doing some of the stuff there in the back of my head, I think about as if this shit doesn't work. Get on my eyes. good. So I I just make sure if I do throw the no look pass or I throw the sad on past that I make sure it's completed.

Yeah I I through I throw out a pick for four, unfortunately, and I couldn't even look over the eyes. I just signed through. The is beauty.

He was a tight spiral, have never found IT back across the field. Don't know what you're thinking.

but there was a beautiful, the crazy party. He asked about that I think I think asked about IT in install. He said, what if this guys open and coach was like, do not throw him all.

Do not .

there's not a progression in this drivers. And then I looked at d rob as I just run space. Bones was was against space is a giant long stories showing I saw what they were in a new time was going to get gloved or that be open.

And I was just py, you know what the si did? All that took was an instinctive al, like a few steps to the right, just a peak, do just a peak, you know, was like, either I want to get tackled behind the line, discriminate, or these things going up. And IT was my only chance that, I mean, all national football did. I mean.

no one noticed in the game every day they would pitch me the ball back. First off, I made a horrible read in crash, and I still pissed to him also, like, here you and then he look like made eye act with them. He was just like, here I was like, what am I going to do with IT? I'm just thanks for the ball. Now what you're going to do.

you're going to try to make a play. I'm going to be behind you and then you can then let her live back to me.

We're just to make a process on like when who do you do that before was at the Shawn yeah, the coin that play was so filling. God might be my I was .

was electric. Man, I was electric. We had like five turn over. That came, I think, leading up to that point.

So it's like everybody on the the ball hold on five points of pressure on that day. Hi tight, closed the elbow chin, that thing you know really like, let's take care of at this time. We've kick ourselves in the face enough with these turnovers and had play breaks down up first.

First off, i'm just like running to the right and i'm just like off my back foot .

just like somebody find IT did find that I felt sheet 不对。

he's going to .

down and this he's got me but .

you don't get to well as is a great player, right I guess is open for all of this like it's any criticism about your game that either bothers you or you feel as legit. I'll go chicago first. Um I have always been criticize for my snapping and to be honesty is not very good. I got a fassa p it's off targets occasionally. Um it's really remarkable as someone who can sp the ball that I play twelve years of.

So how we were in this thing out.

we can deal with that.

We can deal with that. He does a lot, a lot of IT. That's awesome for me. It's definitely blocking is not as no elephant, no secret man, everybody y's open on me about my blocking and things like that. And i've taken heart to that man.

And i've been a guy that, you know, I try and make myself more of a blocker, more of a physical presence in the run game know, and how much I can have success in in receiving the things like that. But yeah, and there's there's some good defenders out there I know you seen and get to hold the block in the fl. Is, is that the easiest thing to do, although George kittle does make IT look easy and fun. Man.

yeah. And for me, that was more, I think, when I was coming at a college, but early, I thought of me as this, like, through all these interceptions and all, all these touchdowns. And we had to score a lot in college.

And I still, if you look at my college that never really threw ly interceptions, but they were just like in the nfl, do they are going to be interceptions? He hasn't not yet, but they're gonna happen. And and so I had a little spot last year after through a couple of them, but i've always value taking care of the football.

So I tried to get rid of that that thing from my no or whatever critique that people like to say of me. But in this game, if you're not token, that that line feel like you're not you not plan aggressive enough. And so there's times in games where I know like I get a little wounded up like everybody else, i'll make a cool play, really scramble around like the jazz game I am around me to cool play.

And then I try to do IT again and the interception, I M I know it's it's me. It's too, too much. And so I did try to stay on that fine line, but not yet too aggressive.

Yeah, but you've got to put you ve got put the foot on the gas and you can't play timeout. Try wait for other people to win the game, especially as a quarter bag man, if you believe in yourself.

you got to go. They'd get that thing. Or you you give guys chances.

That's big. Me give guys chances to make place. That's what i've never been.

There been a big like completion percent guy. I dos never been like for my favorite h tat. Cannot keep you want. You want to obviously have a high completion percentage.

But I feel like if you're not kind of pushing the limit and giving guys chances and then another thing is storing the ball away and not taking sex, I feel like you're hurting your team. And so i've never been a big completion percentage gams someone they like to, to push IT. And I wanted to be high. And I want to be like having success, but I want to make sure that our guys have chances to go there and make place.

No.

you pretty good. Good with the state. Ths, right now you're leading the MVP voting, do you yeah what your minds are going into, you see like obviously lot of not a lot of changes, but you're loosen. Thai k, one of the biggest playmakers on the chief of the last few years.

receiver in the league.

Man, yeah, yeah. Coming into this season, are you focused on MVP type? Are you just more on the success of the team?

No, I mean, you I don't think anyone, I mean focuses on the the MVP and stuff like that mean you shouldn't be if you want to be a great team. I just focus on a winning um and I knew I mean losing tyrie is losing tai rig. I need to me the best receiver in the league.

I think it's going to be it's going to be big for anybody, the lose guy like that. But even more than I mean, brought a lot of great players in. I think I just looked at coaching.

I was like, this dude has had success with whoever on the field, water back receivers, your lines running back and i'm like, so if I just listen to what he has to say, I we're going to have success um and so I just I did them and and I tried to take IT on myself to i'll have a bigger responsibility in the office and you got to get through your reads Better, you gotta be Better and give them to the right guy and giving guys a chance to make place. Now we have a lot of guys have stepped up. And if you look at our team, that seems like every week, it's a different receiver kind of have in the big game.

It's been so fun to watch.

It's been cool men. And I am so happy for those guys, man, because they they got a bad rap coming into the season. I was looking at IT and travis looking at IT like these guys ball .

I was talking about.

So the sea guys that are going out and having a success guy, I had the big games this last year and i've seen, I mean, this last game and i've seen that talent. All you're along, you see guys I just in watch. Saw the O, T, S.

I think it's a story of other, and I called red V M. Like a how fast is this White guy we got out here? Men, because he's over here.

I can't even throw IT far enough. This guys out run on me. So it's, yes, I call force scheme and catch out the back out. You, if you everything force go. He, is that just watching as that perfect for like this the .

entire time around?

But not so. I M forrest, gb. He, to make a place for us, the .

penguin, the best baby, every single time he caches that makes a big play. I just see him get on his time. Massie was four thousand celebration. IT works every time.

is born with club feet to teach him self how to run. And at the later stage.

see how he throws a football is the crazy that i've ever seen the most robotic like, or I want to see IT .

in slow motion. I don't know how IT comes out of his hand. It's never a spiral. I don't know how even .

code gives everybody a chance to have a thrown in this office. She's like testing the receivers, the tight ends, everybody out and we're like j White men like you wanted you throw like he's like .

now man would like.

come on, just give us one he was just how .

was like what he was.

how to be so that .

that's what you by step up.

man.

and I answer your question and you never .

think about that MVP stuff if you do, you're in the wrong sport, man, all you think about is going out there and win in winning games. Plan for your team. And at the end of the day, you want to win that super bowl. And if you that's not your only goal, then then you are not planned. The rice board.

Yeah.

love IT. What do you think you're still improving? What do you think? I mean, I think this is forever.

yes. I think to be part I mean, everybody.

when you're not getting Better.

everyone's catching. Yeah exactly. Best improvement I made become patient, which I had to last year with all the coverage, we were good. I learned how to forward to the running back. IT was hard for me.

I would I, every time I D look downhill, not just be like if he just maybe if if he can just get an extra, I say you might come down a little bit, but I weren't thought to y're running back and get let those guys makes stuff happen in space. Once I did that, I opened everything else back, back up. And so I want to continue to improve the men.

I want to have to get Better. I want to make IT easier. I want to be where tom is. Where is like, he knows what the plate, what covers differences in by how the nickel is aligned and everything like that.

And like you said, man, you know that man if you're not improving um you're getting caught by somebody and lot of great quarter er backs and in this league men you all have one other. I'm just trying to just just take a quick step. Every time they take a step, I will take another day .

you talk about patient. I always laugh at like how fast your mind is actually moving due to you. I feel like his mind works like like a fast forward speed compared everybody else is. And you could tell when he's tapped in, like trying to play golf with this dude, he tries to break the record for the fastest round every single all time I dude i'm talking about.

he's hidden this no practice things walk up IT just knows exactly what IT is .

but you see him on the field and sometimes they shoot him, matter a play and he's like kind of thing in and he goes, he's always doing this, right? Yeah, pad mac, we show the pad mac. We show he made this kind of where i'm going with this, but he's like his, I give me to play, give me to play.

I need a faster. I need right now give me, give me these always guys his tone right here. And he's just then he's not looking at shit, but he's thinking of everything, situation, what's going on, play call formation, all this, and is just that boy is so tapped in, so tempting. That is, you usually know whatever you seem.

This that's old silky. Man.

that's so I got silk. P, yeah.

So I think my dad got IT from Jordan. He got IT from Michael Jordan, and then he did IT. And I guess a kid, you I mean, I watch my dad play professional baseball. I'm trying to do everything he's doing and in every picture he be, and then I start doing is like a kid as a habit and now it's just at every time and .

now start .

to do and now do and runs family.

This is actually good that we're talking about mj because we want to touch on this two. Um so try has been compared to a lot of receivers I get compared to pretty much any White fat dude with a beard. You be compared to basketball players, go, which one of these comparison's blows your mind the most? Steff curry, Michael jorn.

Michael Jordan. I feel like I don't even have that competitor that he had men. And after watching the last dance and seeing that, I like, I try to be there, but that's one of a kind.

I mean, the'd be that competitive and at all times, like if I OK shook his hand, he would be like, I can shake my hand title, then you can shake your hand. I mean, that's just the type of guy he is. And if my favorite I mean, you hate talking about my self favorite one is the stuff one because I feel like steff brought a different style of basketball for the game.

And I want to try to bring IT to where it's not core begining. That's what I I do is make IT where everybody you can be playing in different ways is not the traditional style. You still do the traditional style, but you can do IT everywhere, everywhere.

And I mean, jail is doing IT that way. And he's he's evolved throwing the ball, but he can still run. He can he can make the quarterback run, he can make the throws, he can do everything, and he didn't have to be played. The certain style that we have become a custom to. And so that's what i've tried to do in my position, is how can I play the game in my way so that people behind me can have a chance to come out here and play the same way.

right?

We taking the game from all three guys have change the game um speaking a goats, you grew up an air and fan and you've already had big battles first time, just like NBA players get together during the off season. Have you had a chance to work with either of these guys?

I haven't worked with them on like football specific stuff i've gotten i've seen air a lot with to stay foregone commercials and everything like that. I've seen toma lot just kind of impasse in some gold, some different things like that. I would learn from as much as they'll give me.

I'll i'll take IT in to learn from a mum. But do it's cooter just taken any information from those guys? And I know i've talked about and the stories kind of came out there at three loss of tom. They as he champed her game when he just came up, he grab me as i'm walking to the car. I'm obviously I ve said he he supposed be celebrating with his team and he just said, hey, man, I don't want let you know you're doing at the right way and just him saying that that just validate everything that I did that he was just like, all right, all this time that have been in the building and put in that work in um the goat is little say and you're doing IT the right way and so that little things like that those little those little piece of advice, man, that's not that I taken. I tried to just just run with IT and that's me.

Become who I am nice. Sometimes all we needs just a little be assurance that we're doing shit the right way. Man, you mean all that does just feel that confidence?

yeah. I mean, I feel like especially when he comes from a good like that know I mean like somebody been doing and right for so long like good feeling, what do you credit to I guess you like your ability to learn so quickly.

You know you come in your first year, you dominate the league trap said you're big film watcher um are you but is are you also giving a photographic memory? Think how does this work? Are you big note taker? I'm a big note take .

i'm a big i'm kind of all of IT. I'm very superstitious so whatever I did, my rick, I do exactly the now i'm baseball player, superstitious, so i'll take a ton of notes. I'm really good.

Obviously I watched the film and do that different time to self, but i'm really go once I see something. I'm pretty good at knowing knowing what IT is when I see you again, even if it's I mean like to smile blitz, i've seen that I hadn't like my second or thirty year. I see like again this year and i'm like, I know we haven't prepared for this week, but I know we didn't need to do this.

So yeah and I call up my little like cabinet, my filing cabinet. I've seen so many different differences now that i'm kind of pull from there and and i'll say, like when I go to the cyl M A coach, andy hair coming one great offline. My coach that gives me me a lot of tools and my tall boxes, they say, but i'm like, hey, I did this because this is what we did verse this team a couple years ago, and he's on the same page with me.

He understands and he get to coach up to those guys and they often to line and and that's kind of my biggest thing as I feel like. So once i've seen something i'm good at kind of recognizing IT and see when I see you again. And so that that's been the biggest thing of that would help me learn.

And I remember my the blitz thing, how was talking about the blitz stuff little earlier? I put the hatred in new england my first year, and they were doing like this, weird. Like we got like the forty up front, where they have like they don't really have a true nose guard.

They kind of have double split of line backers, kind of play in d line and some that stuff. And I remember being back there like, I have no idea what to do to get these five guys block. And then ever since then, I mean, thanks, coach. Belchik is ever since then do said the blitz protection plan isn't perfect and I don't feel perfect going into the game with IT. I don't feel prepared. And so that's like the main thing I do is a coach, andy heck, we get together with him, coach meti corry meti, but the quarter backs make sure that blitzen blitz plan is perfect, going in every game and helped me learn a ton, because when you know the front and the blitzes, you know the coverage. And so learning IT that way is something that that help .

my game go to a different throw. A children's coach.

chilly, a chilly got me, my first year man, he took me. So coach charlie was like a analyst. Yeah, passing game.

Yeah, passing me. Analyst coaching. I couldn't learn those protections. My first year, i'm going to from the big twill dude, it's like drop ate every play so like sort both sides just sort of good but IT and so I get out here and he's like, alright, I will take you to the history of the staying do and he's teaching me like seventy protection and twenty two and twenty three like men tall protecting the old school way.

He's like, this is what you do in the best thing you ever said to me though he goes, and you know what the main rule is, the most important rule is when your heart throw the hot throw like he was like, I know where my heart is in the day. That's the main thing. And it's evolved obviously.

I mean, everybody is evolved of protection wise, but we do a great job here, man. And I know you do to. And when you get those aligned that I have smart to IT makes your job a lot. Ees here at the quarter .

about was yeah for those you they don't know what the hot is, is when you know there's a blitz and you're not picked up. So you have to know where you're hot route is. The is expected to get the ball if you're not picked up, correct? yes.

So at the end of the day, you could say, yeah, that guys come in, this guys come world protected, but then they get you you know yeah they got me, you know this they could paid to, you know good blitz and have a good scheme. So if you just get got, you know, you just got to know where your heart is, may get that thing else. So we're not taken else block everybody.

You got to know where your heart set and you got to be comfortable where the point or what the protection call is to be able to get IT to the heart of is there? But sometimes I like playing that game too. You know, you know, I know that the hearts over there.

but if we pick this up.

that's to go down the field.

that's the thing, man. You see with the the teams blitz men, you gash on a couple of time. They usually get out of blitzen pretty quick. So that's that's so we try to take our pride in is let's pick up these blitz and throw some deep shocks. That's when they have one less guy and coverage you IT that's right.

So you watch a lot of film on the difference, guys. You watch any other corroborations around the lead to try and try inspiration.

Ah yeah I know i've always watch irn. Um i've watched a lot of iron because I felt like when I group that was a kind of like a model my game after a little bit, I watch stafford a lot with the side arms and stuff like that. I watched tom when I was in the time because i'd needed to get Better from within the pocket. And so that was a big for me, because, if you like, tom isn't the fastest guy, but the far as mobility inside the pocket .

of the best of.

And so I was, now it's, you wash in these Young guys, men. I mean, you watch joe burrow, you watch just in herb, you watch josh Allen, all these Young guys. And we play a lot of similar opponents, obviously, in the afc. So you watched them and see how they're kind of dissecting and going to get some of these similar differences. Um and you take from that man and like like we said, if you're not learning getting Better than you're, you're stuck you're stuck. We're at nearby kind of chasing you um and so um for me I have no I do not have too much pride to say that I am watching all these guys that are Younger than me that then there's the gift that they have. I try to incorporate that in the my game because if that's the way you get Better in this league.

yeah for sure and I do so do you fight so travis is well known that he has a rivalry with crack. We just talked to my other Young corda. x. Are there any yg quarter bx, you feel like that means a bit more like when you're planning against each other or guys is like you either out of respect or whenever competitiveness that yeah you want to win? Yeah I mean.

I think we have grown this robbery with the bill. So with josh, I mean, obviously has become a little bit a roy. He's got to me a couple times now.

Um we've lucky enough to beat them in the playoffs and stuff like that you know they're onna be there mean just because how talented he is and how talented that team is. H harbor we play on every year and now twice a year, every single game is like the last position and you know what to be. And so that that one and then obviously now I mean, joe birth and he's beat me twice, haven't beat him at all.

So I mean, he's won the only guys I think I haven't beat. He came out and he he's come back both games and beat me. So tone of respect to him in that team, they fight to the end and they be as an naf c cham chip game, man. So that will be that will be a big game for us when we come up and play them .

here in a couple weeko.

IT was the home way.

You said we are away. We are on the back in the native, on the the special turfy I got out .

there are of this. I think it's no, I think it's yeah, we played on that colors and he was good.

Are you get some skyline you you .

talk about what about some sky?

Really more still doesn't .

sound Better, the .

honest I see. I'm not even going if it's like labeled as chili. If I look at that looks like that i'm ready.

I mean, I mean, i'm about a lot. I haven't been since nineteen, but from everything travels told me, awesome place, turn to pride in their city. Great thing base. But greater.

greater ice is the only thing i'm snack, snack in anything since. And I was if if it's I hate to say this man, but if it's if it's coming out the same .

way this books, the same way that does coming out argue with with this.

I love i'll just get the noodles that I just give me the know just Better the noodles i'll saw people that keep you keep movie um pad. And we're actually getting close on time. And I want to talk about this ah this next segment of mount rushmore.

Man, i've let IT be known of my tight and mount rushmore. Jason talked about his and what we also had a jailed chi in on what his counter back my rushmore would look like. But what does that look like in the eyes of patch my homes.

man, put me on the spot here. No, I mean, obviously tom thoms on there, joe, montana, montana. Tania on there is on to put them .

on there. We know you guys a beer .

pole game and that you, travis stood, I mean, you kidding me. Let me fish my mout us more wing to that story, then got a little pay paint, many proba beyond there share for me. And then it's to me right now, it's pride between dan marino and john elway.

And I don't know who that force one is. I will give IT the L A, because he has the rings. But marina, if you look at the statute, his first season, forty eight touchdowns .

in that era.

back to core beg season, has to have to be in history. I don't care what anyone says that that thing is one of the most special season. And then like every single time that i've been put up and breaking these recorders, like dano, how one hundred and seven cuts down in three years, I like what how .

you but they .

ran the ball back in so I mean, just because the rings, but I mean the marinos, I mean, just right there, if you on the edge of IT, if if not on there.

to finish our story.

man, we go to the masters. Yeah, with the masters, dude. And I like we see joe montana, who was like a hero of everybody. And so you go see, you see me, you like, like with us were watching olden, a random house party thing, random house party thing they have, like Jason audie play and music. What does haven't get .

down to and some beers cold is such a cool due to, like joe, one of the coolest guy just done.

blue to you always and his sunday and were we're gone over to another little little house trafic cancer you and so we we're like his joes going home like we've been to come on with before, was kicking for love so we go over there. And of course, of beer pong cable get set up. And me and travis are notorious ously known for being great beer point partners.

And so like, I get over there. And travis been at the matches all days and a lot of walking for travis. And so i'm over here like badly with these kids in travis is bound shopping every single shot.

He's like books in the board open, man, they're leaving the board open their .

ice over over thirteen, in over thirteen.

I didn't hit a single I .

pray in the file and then I hear to the great vine .

that these guys were about how they beat this because this guy tries, won't lock in, you won't walk.

In and two for one special.

Did you get them back, pat, did you guys used to play like if you so when you take a cup off, if you don't drink IT right away, you're just old in your hand if you hit that cup and it's .

game over over .

done I was this I you know her brothers, I would just stand there and try and hit that cup even if they saw coming like, I don't care that you know it's coming. I'm on a slam dunk .

this in your cob goths. So first part I just made first and after .

that there was just every year no look ah yeah got to be a spite surprised .

after the first .

one is you get to catch .

him in the tables of sliding. They're not even high enough to even have a chance.

Is that family innocent? Everyone's looking everywhere. Oh, I was not going to keep coming with.

Right now, my ipad went, so, yeah, nice. That's all. Add for the my rush more. J I wanted set to the school.

sure. yeah. I thought they want to do courter back plus receiver, not rush more too.

I screw that up. Yeah, I grew that up.

You may do the the duo of the mount rushmore are who I know, I mean, joe montana and montana and Jerry, right? You can say his name, right? Join tania.

Jerry rice, speaking of Henry win klerman, ah, talking about the Green. No book you know about the nobility. I. I just .

hate them. I had and I hate them. I hate them.

No uh the dea damon a Jerry rice um don't take cold pepper and Randy s you should take that over time and radios I mean, both of were close to I mean.

Randy I would .

say tom and Randy just that was the year when undefeated do was like a million touch that. Who else is on that? Mount rushmore? I would say.

Troy, a men. Michael irvin, another sneathy one, has cobos thing growing up here. So 呃。

i had, I had their action figures. I had action for.

And then the fourth one, I mean, there's so many great, was I when I even close IT because I want to just leave my elf on the table. Les, so those are the main ones. And then the force one is up for debate for everybody.

That's fair enough that let's go to a though we're going to settle the score and some things that we've had arguments sight on the show and sensual quarter back. Uh IT gives us a quick uh way to answer these questions. Um game a fit philosophy dress up or dress already know the answer to .

this be stress up guy for away games. Away games suttie paid manning know soon time I thought a little little bit of swag on there, but soon time and everything like that home game, i'm usually a graphic tea and just genes like just an easy, comfortable look. Birkin tries to give me to go outside the box, kind of like what travis when and I don't know if I have enough swag for that. So like when travis wear themselves, sometimes I like I don't know if I even like IT, but it's got to be sweating because travels is where, when, when I wear and it's just to i'm just going to get roasted. So why am I .

gonna AR IT so I just i'm the best post the picture is really the come this man, you look like a clown dog I get IT men I get as well. I was going for a clown.

actually so I was for clowns aren't .

Better .

believe IT what what position talks .

the most stressed um I would say D B, D B definitely just the whole whole group man, this is they always are saying something now and so I mean have to have some confidence to play that position so i'm the big guy where I run and I try to never take a hit. So I always go down and they're like, man of you to run at me. You know what I would done? I'm like you're not trying to hit anybody.

Would you play? Bb, but I tried to stake. If you don't interception, you know that they're going to the in zone. They're are taking the picture, everything like that. So you try to stay away from, give them any chance to talk trash.

We are right there with you. D, line, D, B, that's the .

ultimate. But all thing about the line is i'm a big compliment guy. I'm a big though the ball.

They get close to me. A great rush. Dude, great. I'm not trying to make these guys matter.

You kid me like, why would I want them to hit me harder? I'm just great rush. But yeah, exactly. Let let them just play their .

position. They're .

competing.

A great tip was crazy, was awesome high live video inst density.

And man heard the trash talk.

And five, he poked that, barry.

he's one. Those quiet guys that at the moment, anything said he's he's gonna nuts and it's great to have those guys in the team and and I don't have to be that guy. I just let them I mean, travis, i'm like grab in bias horse color the whole time. Hey, bring you back in.

And and I was, I was I was the kid at the music park that was on the leash. so. I gone out for sure. Deal 我 一拳。

分手。

Used to give me like a cb, like like caffeine russia, like a sugar russia. I would just be everywhere, just like dragon. My parents across the music park, remember one of the first sizes, we went like, I wasn't on the leese.

My mom was like, alright, this is, this is what if we ever anybody gets lost, we come right here. Like, was like one like area. All I heard of my mind was like, i'm to get lost. Just meet right back, clear at the end of the day.

well, we know were going. See you later. Well, we talking about travis little bit earlier. Do you think travis could play?

Could you play court back up? no. Only no. I mean, I think he has the fiscal talent to play quarterback in nfl.

But like he says, there's those times we kind of blacks out that if you ve ever played travis and pingpong, you know why he can't play corner travis, a good pink player but ah ah he's too he's too aggressive men and pingpong, i'm a big reTurner and I would just returned I know he's going to try to Spike IT and he did not hit one at eight. He just have IT, but I am to be seven point ts of other, those ones he miss, so he's too aggressive. Let them just go out there and get his aggression out on a run.

Do I get caught in the fun of the game? I called the fun of the game. I could caught flaking, and you can flag as .

a corner ali approach and pingpong g, just let him .

punch himself out.

Here, help myself and I see that thing, sin and prime. But i'm just like.

Other than counter back what he thinks the hardest position to play in the field.

Db, db, a hundred percent men, special with the rules, how they changed. Those guys are put in tough positions, men. And so they have to play defense and to not know where the receivers going, but there's a chance to get picked by someone else.

But they have this. They had to not put their hands on the guy. And they they have to hold their round, but not to be holder round too much because they are not going to passion experience.

So and they have to have the quick gest memory man, and they make one mistake. It's like the next play. They have to try to make something happen. So definitely that db position is definitely tough one.

I think all of agree on that one.

Would you sign a baby?

I would .

you let somebody sign? start? Would you let somebody put sharpie on?

No, that's i'm said. I will sign a baby close. I do the close.

Yes, I will sign the close. But not, no, not no forehead. No, Ricky, Bobby, forehead coming out of me. I'm very hesitant ant, to design any anybody's actual body. But I did sign someone's, I had a chap stamp, and I signed their chap stamp, and I got a tatted on top of their cham stamp.

So change stamp pitch. M windom.

There's an your autograph is forever tattoo .

on this man's lower back yet.

The kingdoms real babies, the kingdoms real man, is what we do out here. We, we're all in. We're invested, were invested. And one last thing, man, we do this every single week. This is the new heights stamp of the weekend where we we show praise to anybody taking their game to new heights. My new heights .

stamp of the week. I want to keep IT close to home. And although the sky more baby, talk about IT a little earlier, someone that mean has some early troubles as far as I dropped upon, I mean, everyone does IT and you learn from your mistakes.

You go out there. Obviously, we're done some receivers this week. He get thrown into action, makes big catches that kind of change the title of the game helps us get down there and win the game on the two minute drive.

And someone that I have so much belief in and so much so much trust in. And i'm glad to see that he can make a place on a big night, like sunday night. Football man, that's my new high stamp of the week right now.

The second chief water receiver taking this game to new height. Man, we got jay watch the first, the first game jam just wants, or both. The jay watts on the chief has had a huge game at first week. So well, very nice when I set up the sky or taking his game of new heights.

go sky. Well, I think I speak for both travis and I. This is awesome, and thank you so much for coming on.

You reach rather if we're going .
