differently? Not really. I feel like watching a game in person is ten times.

But I love feel the energy from the stadium. I love gid up on third downs for the defense and good rody. I like, I like, you know, just see.

And on top of that, you can see the field Better, right? You can see all all the players a lot more when you're in person. And yeah, I and I genuinely enjoy watching. Your guys is often go to work and you guys are fun .

watching depending on down a distance. I'd like to watch data as a lot. I mean, obviously the nature of being a tighten and I love watching the time. And um I kind like to see what the defense is in.

So I get caught watching the defense of side of things whenever you guys are on offence, just to see how they're relating to to the raw concepts and things like that. Another guy, I love watching his miles saunders, man, that dude is an absolute bowler. I love watching him .

City runs, obviously, college highlight taped at florida second and none taking things to the house. He was he was I believe he was compared to tie rik when he was coming out. Not a lot of guys get that type comparison, but I think they were more.

So just saying to because um how many touched down? How many big time uh touched down he has meaning big plays, meaning twenty plus h yards or thirty plush yard, maybe forty plus yards. Taking things to the house and being that game changer um yeah, i'm excited for men. I'm excited. I only to add another weapon that you've got to account for in this office is extremely exciting, especially one of his caliver men.

That's the type of you want, that the type of environment you want. And that has been here, you know, since i've been an eagle. I feel like that always been the culture of the team. I can't think of too many times really any that I feel like we made a trader and acquisition where a guy didn't feel welcome and comfortable. And i've heard this quote from a number guys.

I remembers jack Brown when he came here saying that, you know, the eagles, he was a surprise that the office I was even talking to him because, I guess, and washington in the opens the line didn't really get along with other position groups or something like that. That's what he said. Maybe that's more bad on washington trying throw shade here but anyways, back to the eagles.

You it's definitely something that the team uh is consciously um you know I think that uh they know that adding a new piece is important, but they also note that the workroom is important and right away the moment rubber gets there, he has been and walked to the building ah how roseman is introducing to people, how we introduced him to me in passing and we just drop IT up for a few minutes and I think those little things right there, uh go a long way in IT. One lets me know that he's here and he's ready to go but is also too gives me an opportunity to uh tell robbert that we're cited to have him here. We're excited to have you team and I think those little um you even those not a long conversation when you compound that.

got to love IT men got to love when the cultures right, men and the chemistries is good. On the team, you got everybody kind of portraying the same image of excitement for a guy to come into the building letter, getting those those establish guys in the middle or are towards the end of the season that kind of just slid fy a the trust that you have at that position.

You know I mean, like not that you guys where a desperate need of you know a defensive end you might have been, but whether IT is or not, you know, getting that veteran presence, getting a, getting a guy that has been doing IT has been playing at an extremely high level of entire career. I know when we won the super bull to our dogs, when we got the melvin ingram last year, a energy gua juice man, that is, I always like to say, when he brought the swagger as well as making place on the field. All that does just give you more confidence and and make you hype when they actually do go into the game and make those plays.

You know I mean, yeah i'm not I don't worry about how they're going to fit into beyond. I just assume that the front office is already like thought about that. Um I don't think that new pieces say anything about the pieces that are there.

I really just feel like, man, add good players. If you're good coaches, you find a way to use and utilize good players. Mark comes out of the the locker, you know unfortunately not not able to go back into the game and is on the sideline, gives them a congrats after the big time touched down six receptions, seventy seven yards and a touchdown. He um he's definitely a guy that I recognized in the preseason. I I gave my shout out in the preseason and look out for this guy.

I think he's an absolute stud, has a great, great feel for defenses and and find in zones and in that offence, I think I remember mark angers talking about how him and the marjah son have a relationship out of where it's just, you know get open type of relationship and that's my favorite kind of office, is to just, you know, see what the defence is in and just go out there and be be friendly for the quarterback. And obviously IT works like a charm for them because mark has having another stud season and and obviously I Z like likely comes in and you know has immediate production in a big time, touched down late the game to to kind of seal the win well, so I say a shut out, shut out as as they likely taking this game to new heights. it's it's going to be a fun game to watch, especially on a short week. Uh, I know we are just kind of talk about a uh, what do you do differently on the short week? Do you do you just spend as much time as you can in the cold tubs? What do you .

doing differently? Um no I mean I obviously you try and make sure you sleep in. You try and make sure you're know recovering as much as you can.

But um you know i'm not I don't i'm going to go into a big song of protocol tomorrow. I like the song a lot. Um there's obviously no practicing so everything's a walked through everything is mental preparation.

Uh, I love there's a games for that regard. I think that it's it's a chance for the teams that can be the most consistent and the teams that can be mended in the right place. Yeah in eliminate mistakes.

Those are in the teams at a lot of times win this thursday night match ups and so hard I mean, I know we're favourite of what not, but it's hard to win in a way game on thursday really is. And you know the texas, i'm sure gonna fired up at the lost last week. There's going to be hanging for a win, yes, and we're going to have to bring IT.

Do you think do you think the bay week before this past stealers game, you think that helped out in preparation for this game?

No, I don't know. I mean.

kind of having is so close.

IT definitely helped up for the coaches. You know the coaches were obviously able to do a lot of game film ahead of time for this thursday game. As oppose, you are common in the midst of like of a regular season where you don't really have that much time to do extra war.

Yeah so you I think for us, we don't look pass the first opponents after the by. We're just focused on the stealers and after that game now are focused on the texas. Um you know if you kind of help for the offence the I receive, you know we did pretty well.

So we're out there in the fourth quarter. So we didn't really play as much of A A full game load. Maybe that will help.

But you know I don't know, I don't really look at me like that. I think both teams are on a short week, and you got ta prepare, really, really be locked, mental and in eliminate mistakes. That ends up being the biggest thing with these short weeks.

Nice, you see. Still give at the old twenty four hour rule after a win. Here you are asked to how you are you going get ready for death week and you say, you know what, i'm just going to enjoy some beer right now. I'm going to go ahead, put my feet up and enjoy this win real quick and not think about football, just keep in moving.

I will see there's a lot of guys are doing that for me. I'm big on mentally recovery just as much as physical recovery. And um you know decompressing after you've been on a ground all week preparing for the pitch per stealers and playing a game which is mental taxing a twelve hours of sit by a fire joker, son, beer and talking.

But he's been known to score few touchdowns and then you know, just through the college ranks know our guy luke vicker over at the university since anatto him and luke t mates at ohio states. So there's been a lot of connection then you add that on to playing against grapes in the afc.

My entire career, 我 he was in houston and actually while he is in a tennessee， it's just spent cool and no another guy from kind of the area of a northeast ohio that's made IT that's got that vibe of he can relate to absolutely everybody and is call to see him um like like the the what was IT bent Jones video you could tell raves, pores at all into into what he does and loves what he does. So I got a lot of respect for raves, um more so on the foobar field in the golf course but that's most football players and dioneo for a defensive guy. Almost of those guys are really stiff y and swing a club pretty good but obviously a lot of respect for fair enough .

So hofus ly, we continue IT this week. You know, it's we huge chAllenge ahead of you. We've got obviously outside of of labeled hungry, tough defense, know as kind of his backbone is all his players.

You know, they bring in every single play. They definite have the toughness that that he played with. We got to go up against dair.

Henery is the what's the plan? What's the plan? Yeah, I will know we're going to go find out tomorrow, go in the building and get a game plan and figured out.

But I think IT is stop the runs heavy, stop the run this week. So we might have a few more backers. The dbs this week packed the box. I know it's going to be a huge chAllenges. Our defensive line or line back is, but we got Willy gay back and that when that guys flying around him in a bolden at line back, when they're flying around, they can they can definitely stop to run. So will see how ghost man.

do you ever talk to the coaches or players about like what the plane is maybe on the opposing side of the ball because I feel like you're geared up for what the office of strategy is. But how much do you get into the needy, greedy of what the defense is .

trying to do if to be honest, I might ask A A player, but i'm not talking to spags about what he's going to do to stop their Carry around. Think, know if he is going up course, a huge run team you I mean.

but would he ever come up to you and just .

start talking about IT? He'll come out to me and definitely ask me about some like a little stuff like when I know he came out to me earlier on in the year and and asked me about what I would be thinking if a defensive player did this on a certain play, you know I mean, whether he was fake of blitz or how he was lined up when he was blitzing, know of the indicators that the kind of the give ways that, you know, he's coming in, things like that, and that was cool to kind of give my inside.

That makes me feel like i'm helping out the defense a little bit mean, right? Spx has been doing for so long when the guy did, he gets IT. So it's like I got full faith that he knows what he's doing. As long I take care of my job, i'm we're going to be just fine on that side the ball.

And I feel like i'd never i've never gone out of my way to have these conversations, right. They always just kind of come up organically.

whether passing in the cafeteria or something exactly like.

you know, me and jia shorts, I member of talk numerous times about the same thing you're talking about bit recognition or hey kills what would you do if we did this this or um talking to like a defense of guy and is like we're going have to do this this you know I mean and which is which .

is awesome for them to do because who knows you Better than the guys that went up begins you in training camp? You know, I know R T fans like the back of my hand. You know, i'd seen all I, obviously the game plans change, but i've seen a lot of their blitz, a lot of their tails, a lot of the things that they've been working on all off season. So it's like, yeah, I can help out in that aspect of no telling them what i'm recognizing and what may you know trick up, trick the feeder, make someone take that extra thought to trick the defense, are me to trick the office so that it's always a anything's helpful.

That s happens. I certainly the JoNathan again in her, whoever, to try and get any little bit of advantage I can in the way defences think. So you know I think that's about the extent um and it's always fun.

I love talk and ball and uh, getting a defense of person's perspective is always interesting because even when you think you have figured out it's more new ones.
