A new home for wild birds, life upside down in Colombia, and a different kind of origin story.

高雄打造野鳥棲息地 Kaohsiung Makes New Home for Wild Birds
Wild birds will soon have a new place to live in southern Taiwan.
Kaohsiung is using a special pond to make a comfortable home for wildlife.
The flood retention pond (滯洪池) is in Gangshan District, close to the Dianbao River.
Ponds like this are made by people.
They help stop flooding, and make the water cleaner.
And now Kaohsiung officials want to grow lots of plants at the Area B Retention Pond.
The pond is very big.
It covers 42 hectares, and is quiet, without a lot of people close by.
This makes it a good place for wild birds to rest.
And the Kaohsiung Wild Bird Society says 59 types of birds have been seen there from 2019 to 2020.
Many of them, like the black-winged kites and the black-naped orioles, are conservation species in Taiwan.
高雄野鳥學會2019到2020年的調查記錄到59種鳥類出現在附近，還有許多是保育類鳥類。
Officials started planting water plants there last year.
And they say so far, plants like water snowflakes and water chestnuts are growing well.
They have also seen insects like spiders and damselflies (豆娘) around the plants.
These insects could also be food for the birds.
Officials say if the plan works well, they may do the same at other flood retention ponds in the city.
哥倫比亞的顛倒屋 Colombia House Turns Life Upside Down
A man in Colombia built a house.
The bright yellow house has a red roof.
Inside, there is a kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms.
It sounds pretty normal right?
Except this house… is upside down!
An Austrian man named Fritz Schall built the house.
He calls it "La Casa Loca", or "The Crazy House".
And it seems like a good name for the house.
The roof of the house is at the bottom (下面).
And at the top of the house, high up in the air, there's a driveway (私人車道), with an upside down car on it.
Then, Fritz says when you walk into La Casa Loca, you should stop for a minute… because you will feel… strange.
Everything inside the house is upside down too.
The floor is above your head, and you're standing on the ceiling.
All the furniture, the beds, chairs, even the toilet, they're all above your head too.
在這一棟「顛倒屋」裡，天花板與地板上下顛倒，還有床鋪、椅子、就連馬桶也都上下顛倒。
Lots of people visit La Casa Loca to take funny pictures.
Some people look like they're flying off the bed.
Some look like they're hanging from a chair.
And some look like they're diving into the toilet!
Visitors say the house is a lot of fun, and helps them relax.
這棟「顛倒屋」像是違反地心引力，其實一切都是上下顛倒，讓大家發揮想像力拍出各式各樣的好玩紀念照。
美國隊長Chris Evans 獻聲"巴斯光年" Chris Evans to Star in Buzz Lightyear Movie
Remember Buzz Lightyear from the Toy Story movies?
He's the lovable Space Ranger with a great catchphrase (口號).
And now Buzz is getting his own movie…and a new voice!
"玩具總動員"的巴斯光年要成為新電影的主角了。
Chris Evans, who plays Captain America in many Marvel Studios movies, will be Buzz Lightyear the Space Ranger.
The new Pixar movie will be called "Lightyear".
為這位"太空騎警"配音的，是「美國隊長」克里斯伊凡。
But it isn't about toy Buzz.
"Lightyear" is all about the "real" human Buzz.
In the new movie, he is stuck on a planet and trying to get home.
There are lots of other Space Rangers, aliens, and a robot cat named Sox.
The movie comes out this summer.
