Since before ChatGPT launched, IT has been initially used for a lot of working copyright. It's been writing content and it's kind of bit in the whole blog spear. A lot of people, companies like jasper A I used IT and raised over one hundred and twenty five million dollars, reaching over a billion dollar valuation for the popular content, uh, text rating tool that traditionally people are using for writing blogs, articles, things like that.
So this has been kind of the onset of all of these AI technologies and will ChatGPT, I believe that became even more popular, prevalent. So on the podcast today, we are gonna talking about how ChatGPT OpenAI in this whole A I generated A I movement, have a really disruptive, the copywriting industry, where to look at some of the implications of that and what we think is going we happening in the in the industry moving forward. So copyright and obviously it's just like the art of writing, persuasive, compelling content.
Um it's really valuable. People are valued IT for a long time because you are a website with a really good sales copy to convert users a lot Better. Um products on amazon or in any shopping place that have really good product descriptions tend to convert Better.
So traditionally, people that invested in good copywriting inside really good returns. Now with generally I this area has really been disrupt IT to a very high degree personally on linked. And i've seen a ton of people that are copyright ors that are um you know saying they are looking for work. I'm hoping that just ana dotal and not you know indicative of the entire industry at large being out because of tools like this that are so powerful and prevalent. But in any case, we going to talk about a couple area specifically that have been disrupted and what that means.
I think the first one really and when I say disruptive, I mean, like let's look at some areas at charity, but you can absolutely kill IT, and we will talk about that, what that means for copyright ors, what they can do and they can change perhaps their tactics to still be very relevant in today's world. So the first theory, I think, is product descriptions. I mentioned that a little bit earlier, but you know really having powerful um corporation on your product descriptions is going to help you to convert Better.
It's going to help people to understand your h services and you the features of your product Better. So I think this is a really big one. Um another area is blog post.
This is just massive um whether you're A B to b or B2C com pany hav ing a r ea lly pow erful blo g pos t, talk about all the different areas um addressing users and all the different kind of um channels that you might have. Blog posts are really good way to get boosted in google. S, E, O, so show up more in google when people are searching for things they're going to find you.
And so black post are really big way. And I think that ChatGPT has really disrupted this in a big way. Um especially you can especially because you going to literally just go to ChatGPT and say you write me a blog post about X, Y, Z and IT copies the blog post formats really well.
I ve seen IT throwing personal stories from so when i'd like really can make this thing look really legit and believable. And so I think that that is a big area being disrupted for copyright res. Next one is social media post in I stanly have used uh ChatGPT to schedule out. I schedule out for uh one project over a years worth of social media posts.
So I literally had ChatGPT um write the captions for a years worth of and I it's crazy you can come up with really um really interesting prompts for this for this as specifically what I did was I said, you know great instagram caption IT was a IT was a quote page I had as post of different quotes um I said read instagram caption for a quote um that says xian z and I literally would I had my virtual assistants in the Philippines just put in the first you know five sentences are in first five words of the quote IT wasn't the whole quote and and ChatGPT can prety much get where the quotes going on what the point of IT is as so I said write a caption for quote about this for integram post include one personal story or clever ana dote um as a couple of things through in there ChatGPT absolutely killed that people love the people love the comments are the content. They love the captions and chat. Pt was literally just same.
Like when I first started doing X Y N Z IT totally changed my life or IT would be saying, like, um one time, you know, adversity is hard. One time I acacia died, my hair pin k and at first he was a big, huge embarrassment. But then I talk to my friend and they were telling me how great I looked him.
Then I ended up getting this model in gig and blow till ChatGPT is just coming up with some wild stories. Anyways, this is something we like IT or not right? I understand the controversy.
People are definitely uh um you know rightly so um annoyed by this chat. If you pretending to be a person that there's a lot of different issues that I feel like coming here. But whether you like IT or not, inevitably um I bring this up because people are going to use this.
This is what the internet is going to turn into if it's possible, if it's cheaper and if it's faster, it's gonna be done. So i'm content on social media influencers. Other people are gonna be using this to made a ton of social media.
And you know, in the past, this was an area that could really benefit a very good copyright. Or if they were you know a great copyright or they were writing their own posts. Now this is a area that is kind of been taken over work.
So the next area, one talk vote is advertisements. Obviously, this area is massive. Um I think that ads you know advertisements in copyright is probably like the most uh, connected places. I've seen people charging thousands of dollars doing consultation saying you like up the copy on your ads. If we do that.
I've literally had people of for different problems be I K I want like a two percent equity in your company if I can boost your sales by like fifty percent from like changing the copy on your ads and just different stuff like that. So like these copywriters, they value themselves very highly. And if they can produce results, they are valuable.
So but I think that add that being able to essentially find out what good copyright ors are doing and get ChatGPT to copy that by writing real elaborate prompts that are able to essentially do the same thing, I think it's gona disrupt that in a really big way. So let's talk about some limitations. I think that will ChatGPT really has a potential to revolutionize copyright industry.
There is also limitations to its capabilities. Number one, check your party lies on data to generate tax, which means that the quality of the texts genre the generates is only really as good as the quality of the data been trained on. So um like let's say you are a top tear copywriter and you're in the top two percent while the internet, while chat beauty was trained on the internet and probably ninety eight percent of copyrighted asn't as good as on this top level.
So um you know it's possible that people are still being able to I do really well. Now that being said, I do believe that if you come up with the right prompts, you're going to be able to tap into that really powerful um that really powerful type of copyright. You know if you say like copy the style and if you just it's really all about prompt engineering.
But if you really find the right prompts, I believe you can duplicate some really powerful unpersuasive copywriting. But I will say that another area I think IT struggles in with is like obviously ChatGPT doesn't really understand a lot of the nuances of human communication um and so I think that what I can generate really dramatically correct text, it's not going to be able to really capture the tone or intent behind a particular message. And while you can say, you know, use this tone or that tone or copy this person or that person, I think, you know, without really being able to understand things, doesn't not going to be able to come up with things that are quite as compelling or emotional creative.
So I think that there is still A A lot of room for obviously copyright ers to really excel in this field. And what I would say is if you are an incredible copywriter and you're seeing you know getting less giggs because of this, I think that um be able to really scale up your work, being able to use the knowledge you have to um get prompts that are very specific, very creative um and that do a really good job. I find that people are experts in one area are just are much, much Better at getting ChatGPT to write um to write content.
The prompts are much more specifically all of the industry jargon in the terms that chat PPT needs to hear to create really great content. And so I I would say lean into that um look at the ways that you can use that to to really scale up what you're doing. So it's can be really interesting to see what happens in the copywriting field moving forward in the space.
