Welcome to Paranormal Radio. I'm your host, Nate Raderman. And tonight, I'm going to be talking to you about Ada. But first, before we get started, please check out nateraderman.com, museumofshadows.com, and be sure to follow us on all social media. So, a lot of you are probably wondering, well, who's Ada? Ada's actually been voted one of the most haunted dolls in the world. Ada is currently housed inside my museum, full of haunted artifacts called the Museum of Shadows.
So Ada's story really begins with the original owners prior to her being donated to my museum. Ada was actually discovered in a barn/loft area where she kind of creeped out the family and they ended up throwing her away. Two years later
Ada returned and they discovered her in that same exact spot. So they threw her in the trash can and that's when they called us. Said, hey, you got to come out and get this item. It's creeping me out. I have no idea how it returned and you got to take it. So when I arrived to pick up this item, it was wrapped in a black trash bag several times and
The previous owner had crosses wrapped around his hands, around his neck. You know, he was very terrified. And he said, as long as this item's inside your museum, I will never step foot in it. And it freaked him out. So, you know, of course, I didn't know what was inside the bag. But as I was transporting it back to my quarantine building, I actually, the bag started moving on its own, which I thought was kind of odd.
So when I get to my quarantine building, I actually took Ada out of the bag and that's when I discovered it was a doll. And I decided to put her in a chair and just monitor for days just to see if she would move on her own or if anything would happen. And she literally came out of the chair and crawled, maybe took like two little crawls on the floor towards the door.
That's when I knew that obviously this is a very intelligent haunting and clearly this spirit wants out of this room for sure. And so I continued to monitor for days. Different things would happen. Arms would move just randomly. The doll's head would turn. And it's just a lot of strange stuff. Then that's when I actually ended up seeing a full figure apparition of a little girl in a white dress wearing
very period type clothing but just a harmless little girl and as I started asking questions and investigating with her that's when I started getting responses on audio of asking you know how did you die and beaten came through and uncle and
all this tragic stuff. It was so horrible to hear. And to this day, anyone coming into the museum that are using spirit boxes or digital voice recorders actually capture her saying that, you know, the same things as far as, you know, they'll ask her, you know, how did you die? You know, beaten. Who did it? Your uncle. I mean, it's so sad that this poor little girl had to go through
such a tragic death. But I mean, Ada, she's really just a sweet little girl. As long as you're nice to her, she'll interact with you. She'll communicate with you. She'll show herself if she chooses. She'll move a lot of times on command. Guests from all over the world touring through the museum come out just to meet Ada and to interact with her. And they get amazing evidence.
There'll be people just last week, they asked her, hey Ada, can you move? And they said her hand moved so slightly. And you can see it on video. She did. Her hand moved right as soon as they asked it. So as long as you're nice to her, she's going to interact with you. But a lot of people in the museum have also seen her wandering around the museum, the spirit.
They've reported seeing her in her white dress. And there's people that have, you know, used the spirit boxes and they got the name Ada that came through when they asked who they were communicating with. I mean, you just never know how she's going to communicate. We've actually captured a lot of video footage.
evidence of Ada the doll moving if you check out YouTube and all social media under Museum of Shadows you can watch everything on it but there we have video of her lifting her hand we have video of her leaning forward in her case we have video footage of her actually trying to crawl out of her case and triggering triggering our alarm system and dispatching the police and
I mean, we have video footage of her turning her head, raising her arm. The interesting thing is the doll itself has no eyes, and a lot of people from around the world, including myself, have actually, while taking a photo of Ada, have actually caught what looks like eyes inside the doll. And what's more interesting about it is you could take a photo straight on,
and the eyes could be looking right at you or they could be looking in a total different direction. And so we did a little experiment with it on one of our public ghost hunts. We had everybody take photos and part of the group or maybe close to half of the group had photos of eyes, but each set of eyes were looking in a different direction than the one that took the picture prior.
So it's very interesting. But when you're actually looking at the doll itself, there's no eyes, nothing. So it's just kind of like her way of communicating in a way, you could say. But it's also kind of creepy. But like I said with Ada, I mean, you just never know. I mean, she's very powerful. Out of our museum, right now we have over 3,500 haunted artifacts that are verified that are in the museum.
And out of everything in there, besides the next realm room, which that room contains demonic attachments, Ada is actually the most powerful. And when I mean most powerful, I have a video of her making every single light in the building go really, really bright and then go down to completely dim, almost off light.
And also at the exact same moment while investigating, we've asked her to light up every single piece of equipment in the entire room, ours and guests that brought their own equipment, and she lit up everything on command that second. I mean, she's very, very powerful. One thing about Ada is that a lot of people feel this strong connection to her.
It's sad what happened to her, but people that have come in have actually talked to her, and maybe even half of them have had some sort of interaction as far as a voice or movement or whatever it may be. But they get that strong connection to her, and they bring her gifts, which we allow. People bring in stuffed animals. People bring in a book, and they will sit down right there and read a book to her.
Which is totally fine. They just have this strong bond or connection with Ada that's really amazing. And a lot of people, like I said, when they first meet her, it's like an instant connection or bond that...
They come back the very next day just to see Ada or they will, you know, come back or fly over to the state of Nebraska just to meet her again because they had a dream about her or, you know, they just felt like Ada was calling them. And so they had to come see her.
But people from all over the world actually know who Ada is. She was featured on Destination America a couple years ago. They ran Ada vs. Annabelle. So, I mean, that was really cool. She was also featured in, like, UK's magazine, which here in the United States, that would be People magazine. But, so that was really cool. Yeah, she's gotten worldwide attention. Yeah.
But she definitely loves to meet new people and definitely loves to interact with everybody that comes into the museum. So if you haven't been out to the Museum of Shadows, I highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed. Like I said, be sure to meet Ada, and then you can take your time and spend all day inside the museum. If you have any questions or anything, feel free to message on social media or on my website at nateratterman.com.
