Thank you.

Welcome back to Write Answers Mostly, a podcast on what you didn't learn in history class, but you really wanted to. I'm Claire Donald. I'm Tess Palomo. She's Tess Palomo and she's Mary. I'm

I love every time we say Maywee. I know. You have to say Maywee and I'm engaged. She's engaged. But no longer. No. She's a married woman. A married woman. She's all wiped up. She's got two rings on her fingers now. We got double the bling, double the fun. My God. This band. The band of baguettes. I love the band. No, I'm obsessed. So much. And then I was over at Kanaal's house. It's not your house. It's Kanaal's house. Because he's a man. Yeah, of course. He is the leader of the home. Of course. So I was over there the other day and he was just holding up his hand with his hand.

I love it. I love seeing him with it. It's hot. It looks so good. So good. We love. You guys, we are back from Tessa's wedding weekend in Palm Springs. It was glorious. We did a 90-minute episode recapping it on premium yesterday, which was so fun and just like so nice that we'll have that time capsule forever. I also, and I know if I needed it, you really needed it, but like the comedown has been strong. It just feels so good to debrief with people.

because you just get to relive it, and then you also just get to hear other little things of what happened. And we had some fun little tea. Some little sexy stories. Some sexy stories from some single people. And now I feel like it's trending right now. Okay, so I actually know these people. On People Magazine right now, they just did an article at this one wedding. They did a swipe left or swipe right sheet at their wedding. Tess and Kennell walked so that those people could run. Thank you for saying that.

Yeah. So if you guys listen to premium, you know that Tess and Kanal did make singles PDFs. And we sent them to all the kids before. We were like, what do you like? What do you see? What do you want? And something's happened. That's all we're going to say here. If you're on premium, you know. So sign up. $7.99. You get three bonus episodes a month plus the whole back catalog of every single premium episode we've ever done. Plus you get added to our close friends on Instagram and Twitter.

Well, that's it. But there's like hidden posts that you don't even see unless you're on close friends. You're only getting half the story. Exactly. Which does transition...

brings us to something we need to talk to you kids about. Your parents are a little upset. Your parents aren't super happy. I'm not mad. I'm just disappointed. I'm fine to say that like I think we feel disrespected. Yes. And we get that things have been changing up kids and change is hard. We understand that. Do you realize you're talking to two earth signs? You think that we like change? Honey, we like to feel grounded. Of course. And so we get that like when we're changing up the structure of the episodes, it can shock people. I think our

Our main thing that we want to communicate right now is... I'm like, what is this? I know. Where to even begin? Where to begin? Okay. So if you don't know what we're talking about, we have been getting some feedback that people are like, you're pushing premium down our throats. You have put out a re-release or you're putting out these preview episodes. Where are the new episodes? Which...

By the way, all of March was brand new episodes, which I loved. America's Next Top Model, Recession Pop. It was so fun. It was so fun. Just kind of that has been a lot of the feedback. Also, people saying really nasty things about like the Justin and Blake episode. Yeah, I got some DMs on my wedding weekend that were very inconsiderate. And I had to block. And I've never done that to anyone on Ram before. And we don't ever want to have to do that. No, and it just feels so shitty. But I think like...

Something that we want to communicate to you guys is that we, first and foremost, are human beings. We, secondly, let's say are podcasters, but we are not like this machine that can go, go, go through life.

beautiful celebrations through hard times through illness like we have to also sometimes take a break do a re-release we thought that instead of re-releases putting out these sneak peeks of brand new fresh content was actually going to be really fun and nice and some people love it some people don't that's fine well not only a preview these are 37 minutes long there's so many podcast episodes that are only 40 minute episodes anyways we are entirely self-produced

That's what I want to talk about. Yeah. Okay. We are not part of a huge network, you guys. We don't have people researching for us. We don't have people producing the show for us. We don't have an editor. We have now someone who is making some social reels, which like, have you guys seen those? They're kind of amazing. Gorgeous. Yes, please. Engagement. But we are doing full research by ourselves. We are editing the episodes by ourselves. We are posting the social media by ourselves. Like,

This is a fully self-produced show. We don't just show up and talk about celebrity gossip in our personal lives. We do that on premium. We put in hours of research. And so that takes a lot of time and effort. And while you're doing that, while trying to plan a wedding and trying to show up and then go visit our families, go do all of that. And we want nothing more than to put out fresh episodes every month. I get anxiety or every week. I get anxiety if we don't get to do that. Yeah. Yeah.

I mean, we did that for a really long time, for four years. Literally for years, you guys, we had a new episode every Monday. We researched back and forth. That would take two weeks of research. We could not take a breath. And Claire and I were talking the other day about how podcasting is the one form of entertainment where...

entrepreneurs and creators don't get to take a break. We don't have to go on hiatus. We don't get to go on hiatus after a TV show or actors or musicians taking breaks from tours. Like

Like people expect you to be a machine and produce an episode which takes weeks of work every single week. And if you miss a week, suddenly you're not respecting your fans. And I take offense to that. Yeah, because we love Ram more. It's our whole personality. It was mentioned in Tessa's wedding ceremony. Literally. Like that's how big of a part of our life it is. And so when we get feedback of being like, how dare you guys are being sneaky? It's hurtful. It's hurtful.

It's hurtful and it's just not who we are. And we understand that you miss us and you want fresh content. And if you do, please sign up for premium. Also, guys, we need to make money. That is the biggest thing. In order for us to keep going with this show. We need premium. We need it.

Need premium. Claire said the other day, she's like, who expects to show up to work and not be paid? Like you guys have to understand that this is our way to make a living. We are entrepreneurs that need to eat. Yeah. So,

please just like before you attack us understand that this is how we can continue doing this is because of premium if we didn't have premium we probably wouldn't be able to continue this it it is you know we understand that it's tough times the tariffs out there crazy the tariffs my god can I say something say it the tariffs the tariffs so we understand we understand but also $7.99 you know for three episodes a month we think is a great deal the whole back catalog so if you're going to

complain about it and want new content, our solution is to sign up for premium. It's kind of as simple as that. Also, if you are like, I just can't do it right now, literally DM us because we have... We could maybe help you out. If you're a kind Ramy that has always been sweet to us, we can maybe give you a little something. And we'll say that. But...

Just either don't send us hateful messages or like kind of pick a lane because then we're like, okay, then sign up. And if you can't sign up, which we understand sometimes it's not in the budget and we get that. We get it. We totally get it, but then don't attack us. And we will be back. Like we have so many ideas for great episodes this spring and summer. That's always where we shine anyways. We can't wait to do that.

we'll like move on and like have this be a really bright episode the way that the heart of Ram always should be but like we've really been getting attacked lately and so we just had to come on and like say our piece so let's like come together and just be supportive of each other we're gonna leave it here yeah we're gonna leave it here appreciate you guys listening we love you guys all the people that have been so supportive like it's really helped us because like it's been some dark days of just feeling like we can't do anything right yes with our community and it hurts our feelings it does we just we wanted

us all to get along. We want you guys to be happy. We're doing the best we can. Exactly. And just know that like we always have you in mind. Oh, always. My God. So let's all take a deep breath. One, two, three, breathe in. Oh my God. I feel better. I feel better too. I really do. I hope everyone does too. I really do. And like, I'm really excited for this episode. We were like, we want to catch up with everybody. Yeah. We want to connect to you guys too on a personal level, main feed, you

you know, besides premium, it feels really good to be able to answer your questions, give you guys some advice. Yes. Because we want to support you. That's right. And so without further ado, should we just get into these questions? Because we have a lot of them. Let's go. Let's just fucking go. Okay. So the first question is dream blunt rotation with five people dead or alive. This is so hard. Five. Five.

Oh my God. Well, you know, the first person that comes into my mind. Chelsea Handler. Actually. Okay. Yes. So second person. Um, Dolly. Andy Cohen. Oh, Andy Cohen. Of course. Andy Cohen. Because not only would you like, he's going to be a pro, but he, I think would be so bitchy and would give so many like juicy gossip stories. A hundred percent. Andy Cohen. Chelsea Handler. Chelsea Handler.

May I say Princess Diana? Imagine getting high with her. The stories that she would have to tell. And her just like shitting on all the royals being like, let me. Incredible. Let me tell you. You know who would be so funny to get high with? Who? Kiki Palmer. Oh, would love. She'd just be cracking you up. Cracking you up. Yeah, I love that. Okay, then who's the last one? Do we have two more actually? We have two more? Wait, Andy, Chelsea, Princess Diana. No, we have one more. Kiki, one more. I'm like, okay.

Stevie Nicks would be iconic. Stevie Nicks would be iconic. Just to feel like we could kind of have some of like those stories of like the rock and roll days. And I think she'd be like, mama. Totally. You know? She'd be like braiding our hair. Yes. Or like giving us a neck massage. Yes. Oh my God. She totally would. Yeah. And then she'd be like, back in my day, honey. I'm like, good God. Yeah. Okay. Wow. What a gorgeous. Wow. So proud of that. So frame coded too. Truly. Always. Always. Okay. Number two, any advice for how to believe in yourself or to know you're enough as a young woman? Oh boy. Oh boy.

It's a great question. How do you begin? I know. I'm like, well, I need to ground myself after that first question. I'm like, maybe we should have categorized these. Okay. Any advice for how to believe in yourself or to know you're enough as a young person?

Okay, first what comes to mind is surround yourself with good people that lift you up and don't stress you out. Because I think it's all about like the energy that you're getting, especially when like you're in your young 20s. And like if you're around people that kind of don't make you feel like the best version of yourself, it's going to affect your mental health. It's so true. Like it's always the people lifting you up. I also think with confidence, it is truly fake it until you make it. Yes. Feelings are not facts. So you're going to have these things. I remember in my early 20s,

I'll just be candid. When I was dating Ed and I was around like a lot of these huge profile people. And I remember being like, I feel like I can't speak in these groups. I can't show up because I don't belong. And it's like, I wish I could go back and tell myself that like, fuck off. Like there's no hierarchy with people. Yeah. Like you are enough. You've got to show up and just tell yourself that you're enough. And then people take notes for how you treat yourself. It's crazy. Cause like, I can't even imagine you not having confidence. Yeah.

Like, I mean, I've seen you walk up to celebrity. I've seen you walk up to Courtney Cox before and say, Hey, Courtney. And, you know, nice to see you again. Like I've, I can't imagine you being like not. No, but it's like faking it till you make it. Like, I actually thought this question was really interesting. Cause like, I'm even going through a period right now where there's just like insecurities are coming up and you feel so unsure of yourself. Like it's not just in your early twenties. We'll be all throughout your life of ebbs and flows. Yeah.

And I think that it's truly thinking it's how you make it, surrounding yourself with good people and like really understanding that feelings are not facts. Like that comes in, like if a negative thought comes into your mind and then being like, okay, thank you self. I know you're just trying to protect me right now, but what if that wasn't true? Totally. That's, I think like, that's a really great, that's great advice. Cause it's so hard sometimes to be like,

don't waste your time with these feelings and think about yourself as an older person. Like it's so hard to think that way. And it's just like the only thing you can tell yourself is feelings. Feelings are not facts. Yeah. And also like, okay, well why not me? You know, like with everything, if you're like applying for a job and then you're like, oh, it's just way out of my bounds. But why not you? No, it's so true. And you're going to go through this in every part of your life. Like,

And I think that is – there's fear in that and then there's also strength of that of like I know. I've been through this in my early 20s. Like I know like my early 30s were like kind of a fucked up time for me. Like I felt like I was like transitioning a lot and like pulling and, you know, like pushing and pulling. So just know it's going to happen throughout our whole lives and like you got this. And that's why it's important when you have – or when you're surrounded by good people because like vulnerability –

like leads to so much growth and strength talk to people about it talk to people about it take the shame out of it just be like you know what I've been dealing with this right now yeah it feels kind of crazy I feel overwhelmed and I know it's gonna pass yeah and like it takes the power out of the feelings too to just speak it yeah it's so true we got you girl we got you we understand yeah I'm so sorry that you're going through a tough time it's tough out there I know it is so I

Oh, it's like, yeah. Okay. God, I feel like we're just like flying through these. I'm like, I need to center myself. I know. Just like, ah. Okay. Favorite thing about each other? I saw that. I was like, where'd it get you? I know. I'm like, me? So when Tess and I see each other or like we're separated for like five minutes or something like that. At like a party or something and we look at each other. And we go.

It's like wanting to hold each other and it's always with one hand. It's a hand motion too. We'll have to like post it on a carousel, our picture. It's like our little like thing to be like, I miss you. I'll be to you in a second. Yeah, I'll be to you when I can. You always come back to me, baby. Always. Oh God, where to begin? I mean, even like what I just said, like your confidence, but your like ease with people, like you make everybody feel like they are VIP. Yeah.

Like you literally make everyone in your life feel like you're so present. You like remember everything and like details about people. Like you go up to someone, you just lock in and you're like, I am here like for you. You just are so present with people. You really, really are. That is so nice to say. I was thinking about during the wedding weekend. I was like, she's just like...

like you're so kind. You have such a big heart and you're going up to everybody and you're just like, I'm gonna go up to your family because like I've never introduced myself and you like look at them and you ask them questions and it's just very, very sweet. Guys, I got a picture with Kanawha's parents and like I still need to see these. I think that he, I know I'm like, who has these photos? Send them. I think Kanawha's mom does. Send them to me so I can frame them for my house. I mean, truly put it like right above your bed. Yeah.

They're watching over you. I bring a lover home. They're like, oh, there are these people. Yeah, they're like, oh, that's Jess's in-laws. This is my best friend's husband's parents. So moving on. Like no explanation. Just like, yeah, that's normal. But it's true. And then also I love your empathy for people. Like you're always really good with me where I can just be so black and white. I'm just like, I hate this. And you never like judge me for it, but you're very good at just being like totally. Like also like have you thought about this or like let you –

See every situation. Like you always feel like you're on my side and team, but you're very good at also like encouraging empathy. I'm always on your team. I know. I know. I feel it. I mean, you're so loyal. You're so loyal. You're so... Oh my God. Okay. I forgot to say that in the speech. I don't know if I told you. I still need to send you the speech. Oh, yes. Yes. I was like...

I had a line written being like, and if anyone ever wrongs you, there is no one you want on your team more than Tess because that Taurus energy is so strong. I will. I'll kill someone. No, she like really will. She will ride at dawn. I mean, truly. I can't help it. Oh, baby. Thank you. It's true. I love you.

That's one of my favorite things about you is that you are truly like, sorry, my hands are like, I've been, this is so disgusting, like chronically clammy. I understand. I've been like shaking and sweating for a week. Yeah. And then every time I would like shake someone's hand, I was like, well, that's no, I was like, don't touch my back. Always. Just like, please don't touch it.

But there's a lot of stuff going on right now. I know. Yeah, you're so Tess is so ride or die for her people. And like, it's nice that like, she will feel the like, rage for you almost in a way where you're like, all right, you take this.

then, you know? I sure will. And so that feels amazing that you, again, like, you know that you have that teammate no matter what. Also, like, your ability, because it's funny that you say that. I think that you're actually a lot better at sitting and listening to people and then being like,

Because you would be a therapist in another life. And I think especially for women and you just care so deeply about people and want to hear their sides of it. And you're also such a connector. Oh, thank you. And a great host. Like you have this ease about you about being able to like host people and bring people together. You're so funny. You're so funny. This

This is our love fest. This really is. We go on and on. Just the whole episode. No, we really could go on and on. I mean, that's what we do. It's true. That's why it was hard writing y'all's speech too because I was like, well, one, we do have this podcast where it's like we sit on a mic and like get asked these questions that we're so lucky because a lot of people don't get to be asked these questions with their best friends. So I was like, I've already said so much. So I wanted it to be

fresh material. Totally. And it did feel so fresh. Thanks. It really did. Yeah. I need to read it again. Oh yeah. I need to send it to you. I'll send it to you. Yeah. Yeah. Perfect. Google docs. Okay. Number four, a movie that you think everyone should walk. Walk. So should watch. There was a typo there. My bad. Doing this very quickly this morning. Um, maybe you think everyone should Celeste and Jesse forever. Oh, Celeste and Jesse forever. I chose my, um,

First dance song based on this movie. Yes. Because the soundtrack is so good. Okay. So in Sloss and Jessie Forever, give us the premise.

Rashida Jones, Andy Samberg, who have been their high school sweethearts, got married really young and are going through a divorce like in their late 20s, like early 30s in L.A. That's also so crazy because like when it's one of those things when you watch a movie when you're younger and you're like, oh, those people are so old. And then you're that age and like five years older than them. Oh, my God. It's it's just like it's when you're ready.

When you are ready, I will sit with you and we'll have a couple glasses of wine. And it is, it's really uplifting. Like, and it kind of, it really just changed my perspective about like a lot of things. Like the movie is very powerful to me. It's just about like growing up and change and letting go and what comes from change. And like, it's, it's just like a love story to like a young woman in LA that's like figuring it out.

I love movies that are so a love story to LA. Yes. It really, it's so LA. You will love it. I mean, it's very emotional, but it's also at the end, you're just like, so you're like inspired by her. So also.

Also, in the movie, she has this thing as she's going through a breakup and she runs all over the city. After my breakup last year, I was like – there was that day, remember, that I ran – I don't know if you remember this. I literally ran to Allison's house and then ran back and I was running all day. I was just like – Yeah. And then on last Sunday, I was literally walking all day. And I'm like, if your friends are walking or running all day, you need to check on them. Call 911. Call 911. Check on them.

Just like something. They're processing. Totally. Yeah. They got that. That was so funny that they had that scene. It's just so good. I think it's such a, it's a perfect indie movie. Yeah. It's so good. Andy Samberg is so cute. He is that guy. I know he like, this is like him and well, he's in palms, but I love that movie. I need to rewatch that. It's so good. Kind of plays like similar, like goofy. Would you put Andy Samberg and Pete Davidson in the same category? Okay. Yeah.

A little thin diagram. There's overlap. There's overlap. Pete Davidson's like the stoner, more bad boy version of it. Because Andy Samberg's not like a bad boy. Andy Samberg is a nice Jewish class clown boy. Maybe he has a tattoo, but not like a lot. Totally. He has a tattoo where his mom won't see it.

You know? A hundred percent. And then Pete Davidson is the stoner who is a little more dangerous. And he like has sex with everybody. Yeah. And everyone's like, well, I want to give it a go. But is the middle of the Venn diagram class clown? I think so. Right? I think so too. Yeah. And that was, you know, always my type growing up. I mean, how can it not be? God, that's the thing. Men get away with so much. You make us laugh once. And then you're just like, I'm going to marry you one day. Boy, I think that.

that I'm in love with you. Like literally, well, okay, so one time I was staying at my friend Allison's house and she like lives in kind of a duplex thing and the walls are pretty thin between her and her neighbor. And we don't like know him that well, but I heard that he had a girl over. And so I text Allison, I was like, oh my God, he has a girl over. And I was like, I think it's a date. And I was like, oh, she's laughing a lot. And Allison was like, well, it's definitely a date because otherwise why would a woman be laughing at a man? I was like, sorry.

Such a good call, Allison. God, it's so true. Just like on the first date, you're just like, do I have to laugh? God, are they expecting me to laugh? Oh, I know. And with time, you can just realize you don't have to. Yeah, you just stare at them in the face. Yeah, just like, hmm. I thought it was so funny. Yeah, interesting. Yeah. That's a great call. What movie do you think everyone should watch that maybe they haven't seen? I don't know. That's so hard to, because it's like for what reason, you know?

What about Big Fish? I was just about to say. So my favorite movie is Big Fish. And like, I just think it's like really powerful. I don't think a lot of people have seen it. Which is crazy. And then people realize Tim Burton and they're like, what? Oh, that's right. But it's so good. Billy Crude Up.

An icon. An icon. It's Ewan McGregor. It's such good storytelling. Danny DeVito, like Jessica Laine. It's such a good movie. One day I will watch it. Have you never seen it? No. I saw it. I think I saw it in fifth grade on a family vacation. Oh, Miley Cyrus is in it. Young Miley. Wait, what year was this made? Like 2003. Okay, that makes sense. Yeah. Oh my God. I think you're really going to love it. Isn't it like so intense? It's not so intense.

not so intense. Oh, is it not? The end is pretty emotional. I mean, he really, like that is just like setting up a story and like taking it for a home run at the end. Yeah. But it's just like,

It's great. If you like Forrest Gump, I think you're going to love Big Fish. Oh, I do. I mean, I love Forrest Gump. Me too. It's like just such a big storytelling movie. Okay. I love it. I will watch it. I will. I think you're really going to like it. Once I'm done with Breaking Bad. Well, that's what I was about to say. You're on season four. How many more seasons of Breaking Bad are there? There's only five. Oh my God. You're getting so close. But then I get to watch Better Call Saul.

So I've never watched Better Call Saul. Kunal was like, some might say it is better than Breaking Bad, which I can't imagine at this point. Cindy loves it. My mom loves Better Call Saul. Of course, the court. The court. The legal. The legality of it all. The legality. Yeah. I need to watch Better Call Saul. Yeah. Season four is so good.

I mean, even I was laughing because Tess texted me and she was like, I was talking to everyone in the pool about it. And they're like, great. It's been 10 years. You're just watching this now. I was like, isn't it so sad when what's your face dies? His girlfriend. And McKinley was like so sober and she was just like, mm-hmm. And I was like slowly starting to fade. I was like, it's just like that was the moment that Walt changes from the villain. They're like, is she talking about Breaking Bad right now?

on like post wedding day just like this is what she wants to talk about but it has been 10 years so like even when you're saying some stuff I'm like oh yeah I totally forgot about that I know oh I love it it's so good and then start the studio I know we need to we need there's so much we need to watch I just think you and Canel are really gonna love it I know I'm gonna love it it's so good okay so Big Fish and Celeste and Jessie Forever grab your tissues because you guys will be wrecked after it okay number five favorite fashion decade slash era just like 2010 yeah

Business casual and the club. In the club. I would be disgusted if you said that. Bondage dresses. I know.

I know that like fashion, but actually I don't think fashion always makes the comeback because like the 80s have like, there have been moments of the 80s that have come back, but like no one's ever going to be wearing those crazy, crazy shoulder pad. But they're kind of in. Think of Paige DeSorbo. She's always wearing a shoulder pad with like a little, a neon was really in for a long time. Because she won't, you're so right. Okay. What am I saying? I know. I know. I know my baby doesn't like the 80s. We're, we're all going to be wearing big belts and ballet flats and tights in the club. A hundred percent.

Everything is a cycle. It is crazy. You know what we were talking about on the way to Palm Springs, and then I'll answer his question, was that, you know how everything comes back and we think like, well, that would never because it was so ugly. I feel like at some point, like rose gold, like rosé all day is going to come back. Like our 2016 trash with like the cursive being like, oh my God, rosé all day. Rosé all day is going to come back at some point. Yeah.

That's really crazy. Because skinny jeans came back. We never thought that would happen. I mean, I remember people like early, early days being like fanny packs were hideous. God, I love my fanny pack. I love a fanny pack for a little hot girl walk. And also like a rave. Of course. Perfection. Perfection. Hot girl walks and raves. My God.

My God. Again, a Venn diagram. Fanny Pax are in the middle. Liptonia, Cro-Loxon, right? For every occasion. But your actual favorite. Favorite time in fashion. I was like 1900s. Early 1900s. I mean, the corset was a hot. What I would do to have a corset and like,

Listen. It's so hot. I wanted a corset for my bridesmaid's dress, but the silk would have shown. Yeah. But like shapewear smooths, it doesn't suck in like a corset. No, it doesn't. It doesn't do that trick. No. I want a really mean mom behind me pulling in my corset like on Titanic. They have like hot corsets on Revolve. Well, my corset top that you got me for my birthday one year is one of my favorites of all time. I love that one. Discontinued skins. I know. Like what is he doing? I know. So good. So good.

I'd probably say 70s for me. I was going to say 70s for you too. I'd say for me 90s. Yeah. Like the little slip dresses and like everything was so like minimalist and like.

uh, just like Cindy Crawford in the nineties. I got like white tanks with like big belts and highways. So I just love it. Like the Pepsi commercial. Like, yeah, that's the thing. When time traveling, when time, when one time travels, I listen, there's so many decades I want to go back to in time periods. And like, if you're going to go, you should go. But there is one part of me that's like, I would like to go back to the nineties as my age now, because it's like there was technology, but not like a lot, like

I grew up with still dial up internet. Yes. But I got Instagram in high school, you know, like the, the internet, my mom had a car phone, but I still like the, I was still raised by the internet in a way, you know what I mean? So to go back and be 30 years old in like 1994 would just be so interesting. I know. I know. I think like it's,

I was thinking about this last night actually why like romantic comedies are worse than they ever worse they've ever been is because the phone kind of ruins like a lot of like the spontaneity and like I didn't know you were gonna like the phone takes out all mystery from story. Make a TikTok about that. I'm going to. Well we're still shadow banned. Yeah. I'm not convinced it's not because of some of you. We

We know what you guys did. Okay. And that's, and you know what you did. And we're paying for it. Exactly. So hope you're happy. I hope you're happy now. Were you about to go into Wicked? No. Oh, I was. Oh, I wasn't. I've, you know, I can't even think about that movie anymore.

I know this happens to me when I have a very emotional, it's the same thing with Barbie, where you're just like, I was wrecked for a month about it. I can't do it anymore. I also think that you fight for your life for these movies too. And then it truly is like, let her rest. What will be next year's movie or this year's movie for you? Probably Wicked 2. God damn it.

I don't like the second half. Well, I'm not going to say. Well, it's so dark. It's just so sad. It's so sad. I'm like, you guys. What? I know. What a choice. It's such a choice. But capitalism, they're like, we have got to continue to make money off of this. Literally, the tariffs. The tariffs. I just can't stand another press tour from them. I can't either. I hope that they're better mentally this time. Same. I'm really worried for both of them. I do as well.

I do. We can only imagine. I know. Okay. Would you ever collaborate on something else? Of course. All we do is collaborate, honey. It's all we've ever done together. Truly. I think the Ramies don't even know how deep our work goes. Well, on premium, I feel bad even. I got to say, I feel bad even mentioning premium now because I feel like you guys are going to be like, stop shoving premium down our throats, Hannah Brown. I'm trying to do your voice for you. I think we-

We have to not be, we can't fear it. I gotta shake it off. I gotta shake it off. Guys, it is our career. It is our career. You're sorry. On premium though, we have posted one of our short films that Tess wrote and starred in and I had a little guest star in. That's right. So marital bliss is on there. Marital bliss. We did a bunch of commercials. I don't like, we always like, we would do like branded content for like female startups and we would always like put ourselves in it, which I'm sure they were like, is that you? There's literally me in a bubble bath at one point.

This is so inappropriate because we always wanted to be the star. Of course we did. Oh my God. It's not true. I was also trying to find a way to put that in my speech too. And I was like, this isn't, this will just be for us. But I think our ultimate goal is like have a production company one day where we do like films and movies or films and TV. We would love just like make movies and TV all the time.

The trajectory of our career, which I would love to see. And listen, we've had some problems with the Foster sisters lately because of some things that Sarah Foster has said on their podcast, which is really troubling. Cannot stand by it. But the fact that they have a TV show, they have a fashion line, they have like, that's what we would love to have. All of the above. All of the above. We would love. It'll happen. Yeah. So keep supporting us because... I'm very into short circuit.

I wish we had video right now. You guys, oh my God, Spotify is closing by the way. So chaotic.

But for real, we'll talk about that later. I can't even get into it, but we're going to have to find out how to have a home studio. Guys, we can't go into the... We can't go anymore. They were like, we, you guys. They told us that we use it more than anyone, which of course... And now it's being taken away from us. Yeah. So we'll figure that out. We'll get video back. But what was I about to say? What were we talking about? Oh my God. That was so funny. Maybe it doesn't even matter. So we have the Foster Sisters TV. Yeah.

Yeah. Oh, I was going to say overcompensating. If you guys listen to the podcast Ride, Benny Drama wrote a show on Amazon and his co-host Mary Beth plays his sister. I'm like, that would be our dream. Yeah, we want to get a role in something too. I mean, the acting for me is dead and gone. No, you're such a good actor. I'm not comfortable with it anymore. No, but Tess, imagine if a show like – I'm just trying to think of a show that's on TV right now. Like how?

Like hacks. Like Jake Shane? No, literally, Tess, I would die for us to have one or two lines. No, I know. I could do like one or two lines. That would be like an Easter egg. It would be so fun. Like even if we were playing like two shop girls or something. How fun would that be? I know. We should just ask WME just to try to put us in something. That's how I think so too. Like please. They're going to be like, who are you guys? They're like, no. The answer is always no. The answer is always no. You know what Kris Jenner says. If someone says no, you're talking to the wrong person. But I think that we, this, okay, let's manifest that. Yes. Yes.

Thank you for a one liner thing. I love that. I love that so much. We can do it. We will do it. We will. Um, what is it? It was, um, Oh, if Ram ended, I don't even want to say about that. Um, what would your next job be? Oh boy. I have like two answers for this because it's like, what would my actual job be? And then like, if I could have another job, like any other job, if I could have like any other job, well it'd be acting or, um,

A music supervisor, I think is the coolest job ever. So guys, if anyone knows how to get that job, I think you'd be so good at it. I think you have to be like, actually, I have some like music talent. God damn it. But it's such a cool job. So a music supervisor is like on a film or a TV show. You work with the director. You're like, this is the tone for the show. We need a song for this scene. We need a song for this scene. And then like,

and I'm sure you have to go to like a lot of concerts and stuff. That's a dream job. You know what else you'd be really good at? What? Interior, if you had your own interior design firm. Oh, interior decorating would be amazing. You just have like such a, like Claire's Pinterest boards are always like spotless.

You're just really good at like creating a vision, a home and aesthetic. You really are. It's so nice. It's so true. And then if I actually had like, if this ended tomorrow and I would have to have a job, I'd probably just have to work in production, which like, please don't make me do that. You guys. So sign up for premium. I can't go back there. I can't go back. I cannot go back there either. Yeah. Yeah. I'm like, that would probably have to be mine too. I'm like, that was my, yeah. Scary. What would you do for like,

Like work. Yes. No, no, no. Dream. Yeah. A screenwriter. Yeah, girl. You guys, Tessa's working on a script right now. I'm working on a little something. Well, she finished one. That was amazing. And yes, and I sent it to a producer who's our friend who was pretty high up and he read the whole thing which I was like, I can't believe that you would even read that. He read it

So fast. He read it in a day. And well, that's how good it was. He genuinely was like, I loved this. I'm actually real. Like, I think he was truly impressed, which just made me feel so much better of just someone being like, wait, like I could vouch for you. And he was like, I could send this to this person. And so we kind of came up with a plan to, I'm going to write another script.

And then he's going to send this one to the place he works, which is in a different genre. And we're going to start writing. I'm going to do it next week. I'm going to start. So excited. And I love that you and can all like work together on these things. It's so fun. Like we like are such,

Yeah, we love doing like creative things together, which is just so nice. That's the dream. Yeah. Like he's not an actor, but he, you know what I mean? Like I could have like, I literally could not have dated another like. No, no, no, no. You know, it's so nice that he's like, that's not what he does for a career, but he is such a creative person. And he could write a whole script by himself. And so it's like, it's so special. I love doing that. There. Well, okay.

Okay. I was going to say, well, I think this isn't giving too much away. Your wedding sign said story by. Yes. Yes. Meaning like writing a script. Yes. Story by Tess and Kunal. Some people were like, what? Stephen was like, what does that mean?

mean? I was trying to explain to him and he just was like, still not getting that. I can explain it to you, but I can't make you understand. I was like, it's just Hollywood, baby. It's Hollywood. It's the biz. So yeah, screenwriting is truly like my other love. Again, we will be doing shows and movies. A hundred percent. It's going to happen. A hundred percent. You just type it, type it. Type it, type it. Okay. What is one of your summer manifestations?

do you think writing that script? Yeah. I think, I think writing in general, I'm just starting to make it more of my daily routine. Not this thing that I do when I'm like, I haven't done it for a while or like I need to feel less depressed. Like something that's always in my routine, setting time like on the calendar every day, whether it's 30 minutes or two hours to be like, do something with writing. Love that. It just feels really good. It feels good to like,

Because so much of RAM, too, is, like, a lot of phone time. Yeah. Because, like, we have to be posting. We have to be, like... And it does feel really good for when I've been writing recently. Like, I, like... Do not disturb. Do not disturb feels so... It feels so good. Good. It's so freeing. And however people, like, do that, whatever... Like, if that's watching a show and putting on Do Not Disturb, like, I think our phones are becoming crazy. It's crazy. It's, like...

Like I bring my phone everywhere with me. Same. Like I'm going to the bathroom. I bring it with me. Like, you know. There's that TikTok of a woman being like, this is how it feels when you go to the bathroom without your phone. And she's like in a pilgrim outfit. But truly. So yeah, that's my manifestation. And like to enjoy newlywed bliss this summer. And just like we're going on a lot of trips and stuff. And just like really, you know. Yeah. Loving like that time for us. Because it might not always be like this, you know.

You guys will always figure it out. I know. I know. Not like happiness, but like when we have kids, like just being able to pick up and do things this summer, we're still like, we're going to do this. We're going to go to this concert. We're saying yes to everything. I love that. And you know, when like, it just, it becomes different every year. So we just really want to lean into like, fuck it. Fuck it. Let's ball. Fuck it. We ball. Becca, that's for you. Yeah. 2025. I would love for us to chart again. It's been so long. I feel.

I know. And then I think just being creative, something a summer would be. Acting? I don't know. I think so. I don't know. I'm like really trying to figure out what I want. Are you feeling less drawn to acting? I just think it's so overwhelming that I don't even know where to begin. Yeah. Because I haven't been in a class or I just fired my acting reps and all of that. That's chic of you. Thank you. It's the first time I've ever lived in LA and not had reps at all. So I'm just like...

I just want to figure out exactly where I want to go. What feels fulfilling? Like what can I do? You know, I think you should get into a class. I think so too. I think it's the first step. That's so low pressure. I think so too. And I think starting it again, like this era of your acting career, whatever it is, like with play and like freedom, then we'll take you to like figuring it out and just being like, how do I feel when I'm in this? You know, like just,

do it. Yeah. So maybe an acting class this summer, which is like not manifesting. Yeah. Yeah. Well, it is actually. Yeah. Cause that's like a big step. Yeah. Totally. I love that. I think that's great. We'll keep you guys updated. Yeah. Okay. Let's see what, let's answer this. Is Tess dog's name Tevi or Noah? Address it Tess.

His legal name is Noah. Noah Belomo. Yes. Well, I gave him a middle name once. I don't know if you remember it. His legal name is Noah Grace Belomo. Wait, that's...

He's Noah Grace. What did that come from? I don't know because I was like, everyone's middle name is like Grace. You know what I'm saying? And it's like so, it would be so funny if it was Noah's middle name. So he's Noah Grace. He's an elegante little boy. Exactly. I didn't choose, a lot of people think I chose Noah. He was, when I adopted him, his name was Noah. It was originally Blanco at his first, wherever he was. And then the shelter named him Noah. But he, it's so perfect. It is so perfect. It's so perfect as his legal name. Yeah.

Exactly. And then Tubby came very quickly with just like nicknames of, I would just be squeezing him and I'd be like, oh, I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. And then Tubby, and I call him Tubby 90% of the time. Yeah. We all call, that's what the dog sitters that you guys had for your wedding weekend. Yes. In the video, they're only saying Noah. Yes. And you're like, oh my God. Yeah. But yeah, we call him Tubby, Baby, Mr. Baby. Tuvalish. Tuvalish. Yeah.

I've never heard pancake. Can all get named him pancake. Because if he's flat, he's like, oh, you just missed your pancake, Dr. Pancake, Dr. Flapjack, Mr. Batonia. There's so many...

But he is Noah and Tubby. Exactly. I know that's confusing. Yeah. But Tubs. Yeah. Those are his names. You can go by both. He responds to all of them. Yeah. It's like Charles and Chuck. Exactly. They're both the same name. Exactly. But thank you guys for clearing this up. Yeah. I'm sure it's confusing. I'm sure it is. We understand. And that's a good place. We're going to take a little break and we'll be – oh my God. You got this. God, it's happening again. We will be right back.

All right. And we are back. We have more questions for you. We do. Okay. I can't... Oh, my God. Sister, I'm with you on this one. I can't get over my situationship of a year. Help me. I saw this one. I was like, I'll let my baby take it away. Well, I was honestly like... I was thinking about this last night. I was like, Tess might have to take it away because I'm also... Well, also...

Okay, let me finish a thought. I am also still trying to get over a situation ship, which is interesting because I was talking to my friend Jensen about this and she was like, you keep saying situation ship, but was it more of a casual relationship? And I was like, it is different. I do think this one was like a casual relationship. I mean, it was essentially a relationship. It really was.

Yeah. But I'm wondering with this person, can't get over my situation chip of a year. Are you guys still in a situation chip and you want it to be more or have you guys broken up and it's been a year ago? Right. So I don't know exactly and I should have followed up of like what her situation is. Right. Because it depends what you want out of it. Right. Yes. Yeah.

What the other person's giving you or not giving you. Yeah, because if you guys are still together and you're like, I just want it to be more and he's not, that's one thing. But if you guys have broken up and you're just trying to get over it. Well, what do you feel like has helped you even though you're still struggling? Like what are the positive things? I think you really have to –

Like I was talking to my therapist about this and I was like, I feel like I just can't get over it. Like I'm writing about it all the time. I'm thinking about it. And she was like, you're not obsessed. You're grieving it. Like you have to let yourself grieve it and like take your time with that. And like I lean into listening to the sad songs and like, I'm like, okay.

Okay. I know. It's hard. I know. It's really hard. But I think you've been doing a really good job of like letting yourself like not pretending that it's not a big deal. Not like shutting yourself off or not talking about it. Like it's good to like... It also was such an intense relationship. It happened so quickly after a seven-year relationship for you. You guys really connected. Yeah. You really liked this person. Like of course that's going to be hard to get over. And I think like also...

For the person who asked this question, it's hard to know, like, because your mind can be like, I want to get over this, but your heart's like, I'm not ready to let this person go. And I'm not ready to get over it yet. Yeah. And I think being patient with yourself on that, doing what you need to do. If you notice that like following them on social media is really hard, you don't have to unfollow them, but maybe hide them and hide their friends. I had to do that for a time and I unhid them because I felt better about it, but I had to like,

I, we talked about on premium test was like, maybe you should delete his number. And I knew I wasn't ready for that, you know, and I'm still not ready for that, but doing little things, taking it day by day, taking it moment by moment, talking about it, journaling helps so much. So much. And I think also like remembering that there is a day that you wake up and you feel differently. And that doesn't mean it's going to happen in three months, six months, but

But your body and your heart and everything, it like comes all together and you wake up and you're like, whoa. Like, oof. And that doesn't mean you're never going to think about them again. But it means that like that like grief has like left your body a little bit. Yeah. And it will happen for you and it will happen for this person. And like it's just what the body does eventually. Yeah. And like what time does. Time really does heal. And I know that it feels impossible right now. And even like there was a difference and we talked about this with my situation that like –

Within the past month, I was always like, I know I need to let him go, but there is like a shift and there is a time like what you just said of like, okay, I actually need to let it go now, you know? Yes. And I think like, I mean, you seem happier than you did even a month ago. Yeah. Yeah.

you know, I know it's still hard, but like you seem like you have like a little bit of light, like lightness about it than you did. So it's like, there is like little steps of change. And also finding distractions when you can, like with those distractions feel so good. If you can go out with your friends for a night and like flirt, then like, it's not going to change everything. And that doesn't mean you should shove your feelings down, but let yourself feel distractions. Also like this morning I was like feeling sad about it. And I was like, I'm going to go

get a coffee. Yeah. And like spend $5 on a coffee, do whatever you need to do to just like treat yourself. Yeah. Let yourself like get out of the house to like surround yourself with people and just know it's going to feel, it's going to feel different. It will. It really will. And again, like you deserve to find someone who's going to check all of your boxes. Like everyone is going to have to compromise at some point. Yeah. But you shouldn't have to compromise yourself.

Not at all. And I think like you, yeah, you compromise on like things of like life, like maybe like the, where you live in a city or like what you, but like you don't have to compromise on like

Your heart. Yeah. And your morals and your being. Exactly. And I think a lot of times with situationships, like maybe this person, like there is something that's keeping you from going the distance and like getting really serious with them and like acknowledging what that is and then letting that like guide you to like realize that your decision that you've made is the right one. A hundred percent. You know, like let that like make yourself a priority in the grief too. If you want to cry.

Might I suggest Torture Poets Department. That is literally the perfect album for these kinds of situations. We Can't Be Friends by Ariana Grande. And Loveless... What is it? Hard Feelings, Loveless by Lorde. Yeah. Good luck, sister. Yeah. Good luck, sister. But it feels good to listen to those songs and just cry. It really does. Yeah. And also, I think what you said about social media. I know I've had a few year-long situationships in my life. And...

The second that I was either like, even like them, I remember like this one time they weren't looking at my stories anymore. Ugh.

And for like three days, I was like, well, I need to find a way. Yes. And you're like, I did some crazy things. Okay. We're not going to get this. This isn't about me. But then like a week later, I was like, oh, I'm no longer posting for them to see me. And then your life isn't centered around them. And social media can be so powerful to move on because it's not... Humans aren't supposed to just like see someone that's looking at your life that you're in a breakup with. It's not healthy. So like...

Unfriend, mute, block, whatever you need to do. I think it speeds up the process by like five. It does. It's just something that you need to do. You need to do it. And it's hard. It's really hard. But once you do it, you're like...

One day you will. Like, okay. Yeah. One day it will be better. It really will. Oh my God. I'm sorry, sweetheart. It is just the worst. Okay. Tips on meeting a new boyfriend's parents, mom especially. Is it a weird boy, mom? Is this what this is about? It's like no one is good enough for my son. Oh my God. Enough. That's so weird. It's so weird. Like, yes, there are people good. Don't you want your son to find love? Yeah. I don't even know. Like tips. Like I'd say just be yourself and be really nice.

It's the same. I think that's literally all you can do is be yourself. And it's like, honey, get on or get off. Truly. Yeah. Like your boyfriend like needs to make sure and make you feel comfortable too. But like you don't have to suck up. No. You don't have to impress. Just truly show up and be polite. Yeah. Just I think like asking a lot of questions, getting to know them really helps. Yes. Being like, you know, getting to know what your boyfriend was like as a kid.

like cute things like that you know like just be like tell me a funny story yeah you're gonna be great I know it feels like a lot of pressure but it's like at the end of the day you guys are just two humans meeting literally two adults meeting and I think we always feel like we're like 12 we do you were an adult yeah you're an adult and you deserve to be there and you guys both share the love for this one person so like what's better than that exactly have fun let us know how it goes yes very curious there seems to be a story here

This is Wedding Planning's Highs and Lows when you have people-pleasing tendencies. We have a whole hour and a half episode on this. Yeah. Sign up for premium. Yes. We get really into it, but yeah, it would take 10 minutes. Yeah. You want to give a little summary? People-pleasing tendencies. Know that it's not going to be perfect. You're not going to have a 10-minute conversation with every person at your wedding and have a heart-to-heart and...

Be as present as you can. Do the best you can. Show up, but also remember you're the guest of honor. It's about you two getting married. You're not hosting. It's about you and your partner and being surrounded. That's such a good point of the couple being the guest of honor. We heard that. People don't talk about that. We heard that before a wedding, and I literally had like an aha moment. I was like, oh, we are not hosting. We are not asking anyone like,

You know, what do you need? Are you okay? Are you having fun? Like that's all for later. That's all for debriefing of like, how was the weekend for you? But you are there to soak up the love and to be treated like a prince and princess or princesses and princes. I was trying to make it. I know sometimes I just say bride and groom and it's like, no, no, no. We got to just keep it. So heteronormative. I know. I know. But like you are there to be the, the couple. Yes. And to soak it up.

I love that. And then again, Tess answered so many questions on that premium episode. It was great. It was a really, really fun episode. It was so fun. So check it out. Are either of you Lana fans? Yes. Oh my God. I'm like, should we post the video of us on stories? We showed up to a friend's set and they didn't want us there and we were both hungover and we just went outside and did, what's it called? Triller? Triller. To video games. Yes. Huge Lana fan. I've seen her, I think...

two or three times. I saw her at Lollapalooza. I saw her at the Hollywood Bowl. Norman fucking Rockwell was the album. Talk about situationships trying to get over them. Because you're just a man. It's just what you do. You have to move.

Oh, gorgeous. I love that album so much. That will always be like my 28-year-old self just trying to like accept love and like not knowing what to do with it. It like literally changed my life. I love that album so much. I love albums that are like that. Oh my God. I mean, top three. Like you're just like that album will...

Yeah, so I love Lana. I mean, her first album truly changed the course of the music industry, I'd say. Forever. It was amazing. I also love this one song called West Coast. It's so sexy. I love what? Down on the West Coast. We love her. We love her. Video Games is an iconic song. Iconic. The music video is iconic. National Anthem. Also, her next album, it was confirmed that Kasey has a collab with her, and so I will die. Cannot wait. Cannot wait. Okay.

Ooh, this is a good one. What topic has changed the way that you think the most since starting the earth? Okay. Let me read this. What topic has changed the way you think the most since starting the podcast?

Oh, like we like recorded something now. We're like, oh, that's not how we feel anymore. Maybe. I mean, I have two that come to mind. One, the six wives can hit her the eighth. Oh, well, you're always going to. You're always going to. I always have to bring up Anne Boleyn and my apologies to her. But it really did. It really did. And like, that's why we do this podcast. If I was like,

oh my God. Yeah. We live in a patriarchal society. We always have been. We make women the villains. Let's rethink this. Yes. And also Playboy. I was going to say, yeah, for me even Playboy. Yeah. Yeah. Well, I think also the problem was part of my research was a documentary made by like Hugh Hefner's team. Totally.

Totally. But that was our early days of research of like we didn't know where to find the content. Yes. And I think Playboy is such a good example of both of these things can't be true. Exactly. And we leaned a little bit more into one side probably. And that's also okay. We talked about on Premium before that we'll maybe do a Taylor's version for some old episodes where we re-record and do our perspective four years later. Yep. I love. Love. Is there any Zodiac signs you would never date? I know what you're going to say. Capricorn? Yeah.

would be hesitant. Listen, I love zodiac signs. I actually, if I was on a date with someone and they were like, I'm a Capricorn, I would never be like, I'm going home. I would never not date someone because of their zodiac signs. However, Capricorns and Aries men and Cancer men can sometimes be a little scary. Yeah, I wouldn't say, yeah, I would say no. I've never, I'm not as into it as you, especially when I was single. I wasn't that, well, I was definitely doing the compatibility thing actually a lot. Of course. Now that I think of it.

And then you see that you're a match and you're like, oh my God, this is so real. And then you see you're not a match and you're like, well, this is all fake anyways. Yeah. I remember looking one up specifically that was like run. It was, I think it was Zaj. And it was like Taurus and Zaj, no, no, no. And I was like, no, but like it's different. And I was like, no, it's not right. It's different for us. It is not right. Capricorn men are really difficult though. Well. Yeah. Yeah. And some women. Yeah. But I love my sister and she's a Capricorn. Oh, yes. We love you, Carolyn. Yeah. So.

Okay. Tess, post-wedding hair chop? I don't know anymore. Okay. We've gone through. Well, because now I'm looking at my wedding photos and I love my long hair. I know. And I'm like, I'm not ready yet, I don't think. Well, what about bangs? You guys were so, I was literally- You guys were so funny. LOLing at the responses from Tess's bangs close friend story. I know. Yeah, I don't know. I think I'm going to give it a beat.

Someone responded and was like, you will regret this every day. Every day for the rest of your life. Guys, I got bangs before. I'll post it on the story. But it's when I was 18. I had just been dumped. And I did – I showed the reference photo of Anne Hathaway in Devil Wears Prada. But I had short hair. And it's back when I, like, didn't wear makeup.

No, like it was just so like not chic. And now like I think I could make it chic. But someone said maybe wait till the fall. I don't think that's a bad idea. When it's like not, you know. I don't think that's a bad idea. June gloom, it gets cold here in the summer. Well, that's true. But it's just different. I know. I don't know. I'm so like, yeah, I don't know. I have to give it a beat. I think that's smart. Same. Yeah. Ram tour. Oh my God. Yeah.

One day. You guys, we would love nothing more. We need to get to a level where it doesn't bankrupt us. To people, tour. Honest. Yeah. Unless like Giggly Squad, they're not like really paying for it by themselves. Unless you have a huge sponsor, you have to pay for hotel rooms, flights, everything by yourself. Exactly. And after like venue gets a cut, managers, like you kind of don't make as much money as

Unless you're selling out to big crowds. Yeah, unless you're Radio City, like Giggly Squad. It's why everyone should send Ram right now to a friend and get them hooked so we can double the listeners and then we can go on tour. Because we would die to go on tour. We'd love nothing more. It would be so fun. I mean, we mention it all the time. Yeah. It's in our hearts. It is. Let's see. Okay. When did you feel like you started to feel comfortable with yourself? Like 31. 31.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Or like 32. Yeah. So like a couple years ago. Yeah. So like yesterday. Yeah. So like we're working on it. No, I definitely think it's 30. Mm-hmm. I mean, I even felt like

Last year when I was 29 last year. Yeah. And I feel like there was a shift of already starting to feel more comfortable with yourself. Totally. But it's still a journey. Yeah. Yeah. I think like 20s, late 20s were just for me personally like a very chaotic time. I just did not feel like I knew what I wanted to do. I didn't feel very comfortable with myself. I didn't feel like I deserved good things.

And then they 31, 32. I was like, fuck yeah. No, that's the thing is that our society tries to like scare people out of aging when I'm like, Oh my God, it gets better. It's such a relief to hear people who are like, Oh my God, I just feel so much better. I like myself so much better now. That's something I really appreciate, appreciate about Casey Masquerades is I feel like she sings about life and aging in that way a lot in like a positive way. Yes. And I love that. Yeah. I think the best thing that comes with aging is like,

Knowing that not everything is like absolute because I feel like in our 20s, we're like, we have to do this. We have to have this career. We have to think that your life needs to like fit into this like image that by this time period. Yes. And then by your 30s, you're kind of like, it's all flowing, babe. It's all just ebbing and flowing and you can do whatever you want to do.

boundaries become so much more clear of like what's okay to have in your life and what's not okay. I feel like love in your 30s is more like this is what I deserve, not like chasing toxic things. It's all just like, it's all great. I think in your 30s too, there comes a certain, not always because like, you know, you can want some center of attention too, but you're like, I don't have to be the hottest person in the room. I don't have to be the center of attention. Exactly. I can just vibe. Exactly. Yeah. Yeah.

I think like, yeah, that's a good point too, isn't it? Like not always, not always like that, but it is kind of like, let them shine. Let them, let them shine. Yeah. That's a great point. Yeah. I think there was one more thing I was going to say. Oh, I just think again, like you guys, it's actually freaking crazy to think that every single person is supposed to be on the same timeline.

Like you're supposed to have your career married and have a baby all by like 25. That's actually insane. It's wild. Your children, you've barely gotten started. It's absolutely wild. Yeah. Just take your time with everything. Yeah. Like everything can change and that's also okay. Yes. You know, I agree. Yeah. Um, let's see. Yeah.

Oh, I just have to mention this real quick because they said Kenya on Atlanta. Oh, yeah. Okay. So if you guys aren't watching Real Housewives of Atlanta, one of the new cast members in Kenya who's been like a longtime housewife got in a fight last week. It wasn't even that big of a fight. Kenya showed up being like, I'm going to come for this girl and let her know that I am like the queen. And the fight transcended into something where Britt, the new girl, ended up saying, I've got a pistol, which is shocking to see. But no one thought it.

But no one felt scared. Like no one was like actually thought she had a gun that she was going to bring out. It's like one of those things, you know, where you're like, I'm going to kill them. Yeah. You know, and then you're like, whoa, okay. But no one thinks you're going to do that. A hundred percent. I said at the beginning of the episode that I would kill somebody. Guys, you know that that was a joke. Oh my God.

Literally, Kenya had an event the next week that Britt was invited to. Kenya never uninvited her, so she never felt scared for her life. She had security at that event. Britt walks in, so her security, if she really felt scared, would have escorted her out. Kenya ends up having a huge poster board in front of her whole party, and it is a picture of Britt sucking a man's dick.

Who took that picture? I'm confused on where this picture is from. I think it must have been like a couple picture or something like that. You know, she also said she used to be, in Kenya's words, a video hoe and showed some pictures. Well, who wasn't? Exactly. I mean, have you seen some of my music videos? So who amongst us, you know? So.

So it's crazy to me, Tess, there are some people who are defending Kenya and they're like, how are you guys supporting gun violence? Oh my, guys, let's redirect to the people that actually need to do something about gun violence. Yes, yes.

Exactly. And I just, again, I set this on my TikTok. Let's be careful with the term revenge porn because revenge insinuates that you deserve the retaliation. Exactly. And porn is for public entertainment and pleasure. If you're taking a nude and send that to someone, that's not porn. Exactly. So...

Well said, Claire. Well said. That's what I have to say about that. I can't believe people are defending Kenya. It's actually crazy. The internet's a scary place. Well, it's stressing me out. All these bravileberties like Carl on Summer House, Kenya, that are like, I've spent my whole savings on this business. You're like, don't do this, sweetie. You're like, why? Who is telling you like, yes, go for it? Carl spent $100,000 on Softbar. You should not. Ladies, if you're trying to do a bit, whatever you're trying to do, do not invest your own money.

money more like do not invest $100,000 into anything to give everything you've got and like listen I hope that they survive like even Kenya I'm like reading for her because she spent her daughter's college fund on the spa but people have been saying that every time they pass by it looks closed and now she's fired can't get another job because she did something heinous well yeah you deserve it literally that's crazy so my god um let's see how long have we been going okay we've been going for about an hour answer just a few more yeah

You pick one. Test. Test? I kind of went all over the place. If you could learn a hobby, new hobby, what would it be? An instrument would be really cool. Yeah, I know. I'd say singing. God. And like if- It would just be amazing to sing. Can you teach someone to sing? So it is a muscle. The vocal cord is a muscle. And so I think you can teach someone how to have like an average voice. I think like there is something when like if you've been doing it your whole life or you're like really gifted. But I think if you're like actually training to sing, you can like-

Hit it. Like if we were cast in a movie. Yeah, we would like take lessons every day for like. God, isn't it amazing when people get to do that? I'm like, God damn it. And like you got to learn piano for a movie. It's like you have a studio paying you for that. I know. I mean, there are celebrities that are like, I learned to sing for this movie. And you're like, really? Like Riley Keough for Daisy Jones and the Six. She took singing lessons for 12 weeks. But her grandpa was Elvis. I know, singing like, is that genetic? Yeah. I mean, Reese Witherspoon learned to sing for Walk the Line. And she has like a decent voice. Do it.

I was like, wait, I was about to say, why don't you go to a gay bar? Different movies. Same race. Same race. Same race. That crazy lady. We love her so much. We love her so much. She would be so fun having the blunt rotation. Oh, you know, she'd be so mean to us. I feel. I think that she would. She'd be like. What's the Cara Delevingne thing that she did? Oh, um. Oh.

What is it? You guys Google Reese Witherspoon in the elevator at the Met Gala. She's blackout and she's such. So mean. She's like, whatever your last name is. Yeah. She's like, it doesn't matter to a man when your head is in the pillow. You're like, what? I think she'd be iconic. Iconic. You know that she takes a little hit. Oh, oh.

100%. I think she's drunk or high most days in the best way. Well, I think she would be really drunk off like a lot of martinis and then she would take that joint and she would get cross-faded and that's when it would be like, okay, it's time to go night-night. 100%. And then she'd pass out. Yes, and everyone's kind of like, thank God that she passed out. Let it sleep. Let it sleep. God, what I would give. Oh, what I would give.

It's like God's quiet. I know. You know what? This is actually – I think this is good for the girlies. Do exes always come back even if it ended well? Say it again because I cut you off. Do exes always come back, specifically the good ones, the right person, wrong time? I believe chapters should be closed with those relationships. And I know this is controversial because a lot of people are like, but it's just timing. I think –

A lot of times people are, season, a reason, a lifetime. And even if it was like ended well, like I just always look back like years later after relationships end and be like, I'm really happy that like we didn't try to reconnect or that we let it be for that time. I do think that. I think...

I think it's possible. Yeah. Do not count on it. Do not live your life working towards it. I think that you have to live your life being like, this chapter has closed. This person was in my life. If they come back, they will. Don't be like, you know, I just, I'm going, I hope that they do. You know what I mean? Yes. Like,

I mean, I'm probably just speaking from experience. Like my first three serious relationships, every one of those we tried to get back together either months later or a year later. And it was just like a disaster. And you're just kind of like, why are we doing this? What are we trying to chase? Yeah. I remember we got a question one time on Ask Us Anything and they were like, how do you get your ex back? And the answer is you don't.

You know, like you don't, do not put yourself in a situation where you are pining for someone that is not giving you the same thing back for a situation that did not serve you. It usually ends for a reason. Like even if it's not a terrible reason, I think a lot of people are like, well, if he didn't, or I didn't cheat or he didn't cheat or there wasn't like something bad, but like

There are little details that can really like end a relationship too. See, I just don't pine for it. Yeah. I think again, who knows where life will take you. Yep. But live your life moving forward, not looking back and hoping for that. A hundred percent. A hundred percent. Oh God. These exes. I know. Kisses to my exes who don't get mad back about me. I have got to go see Tate McRae in September. I know. It would be so fun. I would love to go. Same. Should we do one more? Uh,

Yes. You choose. You choose, baby. What do you want to finish? Oh, gosh. Okay, because there's some more that, like, listen, we have on premium a lot of these Ask Us Anything for, like, advice for moving across the country at 20. I'll do that really quick, just saying, like, go to everything. Like, if someone invites you, go. And, like, these people are probably not going to be your core friends later on, but just try everything out. Bravo Show to watch, Summer House. Summer House from the beginning. From the beginning. Beverly Hills from the beginning. Um.

What have you been listening to? Tess, what have you been listening to actually? Because someone was like, check your on repeat on Spotify. And I'm actually curious of what your on repeat would be. Our wedding playlist for the past month is really all that we've been listening to. But besides that. I think if you go to search and then made for you, I think is what it is. Yeah. Made for you. So go to search and then go down. Made for you. I'm curious about your on repeat. Okay.

My first dance song, I'm...

Yep. Some wedding stuff. Relationships is also, I can do it with a broken heart. When that played on the dance floor. So fun. I was so excited. I know. Yeah, a lot of Haim. Some Haim and Taylor. What about you? Relationships by Haim. Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus. Losing You by Solange. Scorsese Baby Daddy by SZA. Yeah, I've been going through something, LeMah. She's going through it. She's going through it. Forever Claro. Rockman by McGee. You guys, I cannot. Mmm.

Recommend this artist McGee enough. It's mk.gee. Super cut by Lorde always. Well, we love that song. Von Dutch, Charlie. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm like, it's just so much. It's so much Taylor Heim. I mean, Camera Obscura. I love Camera Obscura. It's always fun. I've never heard of Camera Obscura. It's like a nice driving. Oh, I love that. I love that. Lisa Barlow.

It's kind of like She and Him adjacent. Oh my God, She and Him. I forgot about them. This is always on my rotation. Radio hour. She and Liam were like, stop. Let's wrap it up. Give this one and this one. Okay, but does this song, you guys, we're just going to go off the rails, but let's do it. This song is having a comeback right now, Losing You by Solange. Do you know it? I don't think so. I think I first heard it on Girls. And that was my Solange era. What's so funny? I'll say it later. What's so funny? I'm so sorry. I'll say it later. Listen.

It's such a fun, great song. I love that song. Listen, there's Beyonce. There's also Solange. Of course. You guys, for that situation ship, just turn on Melodrama. Yeah, definitely. Melodrama, Torture Post Department. I've already said this. Now we're really going off the rails. Can we talk about that again? You got it, babe. You can talk about it as much as you want. No, I don't want to cry.

Oh, man. I think that we covered a lot. Yeah, kids. I think that's a good place to end. I think so, too. Because we're starting just to go off into the distance. Playing our songs now. No one likes that in real life. You really don't like that on a podcast. I know. Sorry, guys. But it's so fun. At least we're not eating on air. God, we could, though. I know. People get so mad. I know. People get so mad. Well, anyways, you guys, we love you so much. Oh, no. Just say don't use. Okay. I'm like, oh, my God. It will keep going. It will keep going.

I thought we deleted this whole episode. Ended everything. Thank you for listening to Write Answers Mostly, a podcast on why you didn't learn history of gospel. Wanted to. We will be back next week.
