In today's episode I talk about a new update released by Google My Business (GMB / Google Maps listing) that allows you to choose your own cover photo to appear in Google search.
The cover photo appears as the main displayed image for your Google My Business listing in Google search. If you are like a lot of business owners I know, most of the time you do not like - or at least would not prefer - this particular photo to be your main cover photo.
Prior to this update (less than a week ago), Google picked your cover photo on your behalf.
Well now Google has updated the GMB platform and you (the business owners, GMB manager, etc...) can now pick your own cover photo as your main profile picture to show in Google search.
