Honestly, Tazzy, I am so tired doing cases very similar to this where although you may not be the one that pulled the trigger, your actions led to someone's demise. And when you really think about it, like...
So many ways that you could have made this situation not your life. Our players this week are Joshua Daniel, victim. Willie Shelton, victim. Keeson Evans, victim. Anthony Blunt, victim. Dante Hall, Angel's boyfriend and accomplice. Dante Hall, Dante's twin brother and accomplice.
Shoo shoo, accomplished. Pig, accomplished. And Angel Glenn, our murderess. Angel Kiwanis Glenn was born on May 29th, 1987. Now, growing up, she was known to be a good girl. She was really close with her mom. And even though her parents got divorced when she was young, she primarily lived with her mom. And her mom
ran a very structured household. She wanted to make sure that Angel was going to church every Sunday, that she was making sure that she was abiding by the house curfews, making sure that Angel was maintaining good grades, all the things that most people have when they're living in a household with a strong parent structure. But Angel, she had a rebellious spirit about her. She did do what her mom told her to do, but Angel
She wanted to be, I want to be where the people are. I want to see, want to see them dancing. You've seen that, you've seen that TikTok one. I want to be where the hood niggas are. I want to see, want to see them rolling. Like, she just, she wanted to be outside. And her mom was just like, oh, my daughter is such a good girl. It's just the cliche thing.
of the good girl attracting the bad guy. But overall, Angel seemed like she was doing what she was supposed to do. She was just a little boy crazy. I think everybody was in denial about how boy crazy Angel was. And I don't know, maybe she was in denial about how boy crazy she is. I'm always, I just recently got out of denial about how
much I love being in love. It's just who you are. But you still have to make good choices. Were you in denial about that? You said what? No, I don't think I... You know what? I really wasn't in denial. But anyway, she had a boyfriend. She had a boyfriend. Okay. Let me stop lying to y'all on the internet.
Okay. When she was 18, she found out that she was pregnant. Now, her baby daddy didn't really want to be her baby daddy. So he made it very clear from the beginning that he didn't plan on being very active in this child's life. And Angel, she is right at the end of high school. And she decides that she's going to have to drop out of school. And her mom was like, okay, so...
you dropped out of school you got one of two choices you get a job because there's an extra mouth to feed in this house and it belongs to you or you're going to have to figure it out on your own so angel decides that she's gonna go ahead and get herself a job now they're in orlando and it says that she was working at like a theme park i'm not sure if it was disney i'm not sure if it was universal i'm not sure if it was the little parks in between but she was working at a theme park and then a friend of hers was like girl you are so cute and
You should be a stripper. Like, it's Orlando. It's a big city. It's a place to be. And you cue your body's T.
Why don't you start dancing? And she's like, okay, maybe I should start dancing. And that's what she does. And she realizes that the money's coming in. So she stops working at the theme park, dances full time, and she starts to really get into the game. Like she's not just at the club. She's at the private party. She's with the bachelor party. She's with the ballers that come through Orlando because Orlando still very, it's not New York, but it's a popular tourist attraction. When people come there, they want to have a good time.
And she even at the club has a regular and his name is Dante Hall. And Dante is really cool. Like he always tips. He's pretty nice. And she thinks that he's really cool. And then Dante brings in his identical brother named Dante. And Angel is like, Dante, you did not tell me that Dante was so cute.
Everybody says they look just alike, but I guess she could tell the difference between her regular and who she wanted to be her man. That's how he carried himself, you know? Probably, yeah. It's got to be how he carried himself. It definitely is because they were identical, but, like, the only difference that they had between them, for real, for real, is Dante was a little bit more hood. His bottom row was all gold. He got a tattoo on his neck. His tattoos say, what is it, money ain't a thing. Like, come on.
And so she was like, Dante, dang. Thank you for putting me on to your brother, Dante. I get it. Like as a twin, we have matching names. These are extremely close. It is a letter off. I know y'all had some issues at the pharmacy. And they're identical. So same DNA, same everything.
Too much. Too much. They had a sister. Don't know if she was older or younger, but she actually went up to go to college and was like the first in her family. Very proud of her for that. The twins, their whole life, they were surrounded by drug abuse, alcoholism, crime. Both of their parents used, both of their parents sold. And they spent a lot of time with their mom because their dad would spend a lot of time in prison. Like, this is just the life that they knew.
And like I said, both parents did and used drugs. Even while dad was away doing prison, mom also had served time during her lifetime. So there was even times where the kids were being raised by other family members and stuff because neither one of their parents are available to them for one reason or another. They had a history of talking back to their teachers. They had disruptive behavior.
even some accounts of fighting at school. They were then prescribed Ritalin for their ADD. They were put in a special education program called Educable Mentally Handicapped. They were not functioning at the standard level, and they were shot by shawties.
Soba, salty, soba, salty, salt, salt, salt, salt, salt, salt, salt. Somebody my age recently told me that they didn't know that song. And I was like, where was your life? It feels very Atlantic. I don't know who made it or where it came out from. But it's definitely a Atlanta down south vibe. Yeah, it feels that way. The boys started smoking weed when they was 13. That didn't help the brain cells that they had.
And by the time they were 19, they was already abusing alcohol, using ecstasy. But this is normal to them. This is what their parents did. Like, this is what they grew up around. It doesn't feel too far off their path, right? At the age of 17, Dante left high school.
and ended up being sent to a juvenile justice program. He was definitely like the more aggressive twin between him and Dante. By the age of 17, Dante, he left high school and ended up getting sent to a juvenile justice program. Dante, he did not go off. He started to seem to do better, but the streets be calling, man. Overall, Dante was described as the more aggressive or assertive twin. Like, he's a nigga that's gonna swing first.
And it's almost like Dan Tavis just follow his lead. Like, if you rocking on Roller, like, my brother got beef, we got beef. That's twinning. As they get older, they, of course, need money. So what you gonna do? You gonna sell cocaine? You gonna sell crack? You gonna make the money? And they both chose this career path and were known around town not to be messed with or you'll be dealt with, you know what I mean? These boys, like their parents...
began to see their way and know their way around the justice system in jail and whatnot. On different occasions, the two of them each got a cocaine possession with intent to distribute because that's what they was doing. Dante was arrested. Dante was arrested for it first in December of 2003. And then Dante was arrested later, March of 2004.
And they both only ended up serving about a year for their crime. So, yeah, like I said, these guys, they've seen the prison system. And I'm sure this is not like the only charge that they've had. But like you might get caught up on some stupid shit. But the Orlando police, they made sure they knew Dante and Dante because these niggas was hell. And they said Dante was known to try and confuse authorities by identifying himself as his brother, Dante.
That doesn't make sense to me because y'all still the same. Y'all still low-key the same person. Why you want to get me messed up? I got a baby now. I guess because if you let him loose and it's like, oh, it wasn't him, it don't work, like, whatever. But niggas is dumb. They could get away with it, so they did. Or they thought they could. He might have got away with it once, but it caught up quick. But it's still an option for him. But they made sure, the cops made sure to put them on their list because these niggas is tricky.
But Dante ended up fucking up that excuse for himself because he goes and gets a tattoo on his neck. Money ain't a thing. And he puts the grill. He got a gold all on the bottom of his mouth. So it's like one's a blank canvas and one is a piece of work. Now, Dante, he he chilling. He he's staying with his baby mamas. He's got this girlfriend, Kim Jones. They're expecting a son soon. He lives with her. And Dante still at his mama house.
Of course he is. And when Angel and Dante met and Angel was like, thank you, Dante, but you too much of a you're not a bad boy enough for me like Dante. OK, me and Dante, we got a thing going on and they had like a whole summer fling.
He would take her riding with him when he would go pull up at the house. He would take her to the bandeau. He would take her when he would be wheeling and dealing, as they say. And she liked that shit. That shit was nice. I saw a tweet one time. Somebody was like, I don't want any type of guy. Like, you have to put your pistol on the counter before you have sex with me. And that's how I'm going to like you. And that's what she likes. She was like, I like them bad, bad to the bones.
And Dante and his twin, they already had a few business deals together. And one of them, they upgraded from just selling drugs to being like, there's other drug dealers out here. And I'm feeling real disrespected. And I feel like we need to go rob these niggas because if they got money, we need the money. Is he feeling disrespected or is he feeling disrespectful? I feel like he was feeling broke and jealous. That's what he was giving. Yeah.
That's a different story for it. That's a different conversation. You know, it's easy to rob the plug, the plug ain't calling the police. So it's the perfect crime to them.
And Angel, she was still dancing and she was making money from dancing. And I also heard that she was giving him some money from her dancing, which I heard that too. And I'm like, nigga, how are you supposed to be the plug? I don't understand. Nigga, you lying in my pocket. I don't understand broke plugs. Standards, ladies. I don't understand broke. Like, it doesn't make sense to me.

No broke boys, please. Because even like our plug, he ain't no broke boy. Him and his baby mama's just fine. Him, his baby mama, his girlfriend, all of them, they are just fine. You know what I'm saying? Not my cup of tea, but if I was to go that route, baby, you going to... You know, at bare minimum, that's what you could do. Y'all, this guy...
Y'all, I plugged one at Tazzy. He was trying to ask me how he could get Tazzy. I said, I don't know. Buy her a pair of shoes. He said, I will. I said, she'll take them.
Okay, so she's dancing and she's really starting to build up a clientele for herself. And this is really great. And Dante is enjoying this too because you have a clientele of niggas that got money. That means we have a clientele of niggas that got money. Because they're going to throw the money on you and they're going to give me the rest of the money when I rob them. And she's like, oh, okay. One day Angel is out and about and she runs into this dude, Willie. Willie J. Shelton.
And she knew Willie because she danced at a party that he was at. He was like, oh, yeah. Hey, mama, how you doing? Yo, I'm actually like the way you swing. It was so good last time, baby. I got me and my homeboys, baby. We me and my own boys. He about to get married. We about to have a bachelor's party for an eternity.
And we would love to have some girls come through. Won't you come through? And she's like, where is it? He said, all right, it's in Eustis, Florida, which is like an hour away from Orlando. I apologize if I said it wrong, but that's where the party was. And she was like, OK, so how much we getting paid? Like there's usually a minimum and it can't be just me. Like how many girls you want? He was like, listen, get you get two other girls and I want fat asses like yours. Yeah.
And how about this? We'll do a minimum of 500 per girl, of course. And then the tips, of course, are all yours. And she's like, okay, that sounds like a good idea. He was like, yeah, because me and my partners, we like to have a good time. We like to show out. We like to make sure that everything is copacetic. So we're going to take care of you, boo. We just want to make sure that you take care of us. And we're going to have a lot of cash at the market. She's like, okay, okay, okay. Let me get your number. Make sure you got the details. And we'll talk soon.
And well, Angel goes home. She's like excited. She gets her homegirls together. She tell her nigga about the gig she just got. He's like a whole bunch of niggas at a party with three strippers planning on throwing a whole bunch of money. It sound like we can go in and rob these niggas and be about our day. And you ain't got to shake no ass for nobody. And she's like, why you not let me work? Why can't I just get the money the good old fashioned way by throwing ass? Like, why can't I do that? Let's not what they do no more. He was like, listen, baby, we've already done it a couple of times.
You know what we're doing out here. You know how we make our money. Level one, sell dope. Level two, rob dope dealers. Level three, you go in there, shake your beautiful booty, and I come in there with the guns and grab the rest of the booty. All right? We've done this. We've run this. You know how this goes. She's like, you're right, Daddy. We're going to do it. It's going to be me and my homegirls. We're going to be ready.
And I was like, all right, bet. It's going to obviously be me. Dante was like, go ahead, let me hit up Dante. And we're going to have some other friends and we're going to make sure everything's straight. And so they hit up their friends. I don't know what their real names were. Shushu and Pig. So Pig and Shushu, they strapped up. Dante and Dante, they strapped up. Angel and her girls, they hit the road to the party. So it's about 10 p.m. Angel and her men, they drive to the gas station in Orlando, Florida.
pump up the gas real quick because they got to make this drive over to Eustace. They get the gas and they drive to go pick up Nikita Jackson aka Kida. Kida is only 17 years old. She wanted to dance at the club and Jill was like come on girl we gonna make some money tonight. Kida hops in and they drop Dante off at some apartments near the Citrus Bowl in Orlando. Now
Before Keita even got in the car, Angel and Dante ran a plan back one more time and they was going to meet at the house. Like he was going to get his own way there. Right. They drop off Dante. It's Angel and Keita in a car and they go pick up Britney. Also known as Sexy Black. Getting sexy. Getting sexy. Getting sexy. Boy, you know that. Super fat. Yeah.
They started to make their drive towards you, sis. And Angel didn't tell Sexy or Keita about this whole plan of robbery. She just said, girl, he's paying $500 a head, you in or you out. And they said, easy. Because that's 500 plus tips, right? It's going to be a good motherfucking night. And it's an all boys party. Like, I don't know. Like, you know that it's like a bachelor's thing. It's all the boys coming. Ain't no women finna be there. Like, niggas be showing out when it's just niggas.
But sometimes women be showing out, too. You get the right ones. You got to have the right ones. Because there's broke boys and there's jealous girls. It could ruin a good time. But you get the right ones. That dollar can't stay in they hand. Throw it. Have a good night. Now, Dante, when he gets to where he at, he gets into this beige Chevy Malibu. Now, this beige Chevy Malibu is his twin, Dante's.
Baby mama's rental car. Now, was it hers because Dante didn't have a credit card? Quite possibly. Because he wasn't 25? Also quite possibly, because I think she was a little older. He was older than them. Poor thing. Yeah. Oh, fool.
So Kim rented this car on September 5th of 2006. Now here it is available for Dante and Dante to go make this ride. Before Dante leaves Angel, he also left her with a little small gun. Keep safe. Be safe out there. And she took the little gun inside her little thong or whatever. She kept pushing. Now the girls was supposed to be at the party at like 1030, 11 o'clock, somewhere around that time.
But they had to pick so many niggas up and drop so many niggas off. Them girls ain't get there till about 1245. Let me tell you what. I've never stripped. I've never stripped. But I don't think that I would ever be late for a job that is $500 for the evening plus tips. You know, like if I was bartending or, I don't know, showing up anywhere. But I guess you were expecting way more. I don't know. But I'm an honest working woman. I mean, as bartending...
As bartending, I probably wouldn't be late to bad luck. As a stripper, nigga, did you really expect me to be punctual? I probably wouldn't be two hours late. That's crazy. Girl, it's a job. Sex work is work. It's a job. I can definitely see myself being late. Yeah. It's a party. That's me. Don't let me invite you to my party and you two hours late and I paid you to be there. You're like, them bitches. But listen, two hours is egregious at any job. Okay? It's egregious.
But might I be 15, 20 minutes late? It's possible. You'll be all right for 15, 20 minutes. As a stripper, not at this. It's okay.
Willie calling Angel Phone, of course, baby, where you at? Party been started. Damn. Niggas old, might be taking a nap after a while, shit. You ain't got no entertainment. You supposed to be the entertainment. You making my party look bad. She like, oh, I got you. Niggas, I'm down the street. Still don't see their ass for another hour. Can't get a straight answer out of her. She too busy checking in. Dante calling her phone. Where y'all at? How soon y'all gonna get there? Let me know, let me know.
After a while, she starts to see a beige Malibu following behind her. Boom. Phase two of the plan complete. Because this is Kim's beige Malibu. Angel finally called Willie back. Hey, I'm out here. Let me know where to go. Willie says, all right, I'm going to meet you at this gas station. So Willie pulls up to the gas station. He's like, just follow me, lady. So they follow behind him in their car. And the Malibu following behind them in stealth mode, though. And they go back to the party.
They get there, men's is pulling out everything. They got weed, they got coke, they got X, they got drink. Like, it's everything. Now, the girls partake. Most strippers do drugs. They say that's how you get through the night. Also, Dante was a very heavy drug user. Like, that nigga was doing X every day. He took that shit like vitamins. And so I'm sure...
Angel did a lot of it too. So they're getting right for the party start. Angel, I think they said that, or I think she later testified that she did smoke some weed. She took two ecstasy pills and she was drinking. And they were like, okay, where's the back room? Where's the back room? Because they had to, I guess you show up in your sweats and then you get ready in your outfit.
She may not be in sweats, but she might like have like a skirt and a shirt on. You're two hours late as a stripper. You're two hours late. You should at least show up dressed and with a trench coat on. Like, come on, give the boys a show. Be a professional. I was like, dress? Dressed is naked. Dress for work is naked. You want her in the car and a fishnet, titties hanging out and everything. Ass touching the seats.
Just straying in between. Being a stripper is real work, and I need you to show up to work on time. I think I'm very upset about it. But anyways, they go on the back, and they get changed because they're ready to get the show started. Everybody notices that Angel is definitely calling shots, letting everybody know what to do. She got her phone, and on her mobile phone, she is texting. She is picking up phone calls.
and she's like on the on the phone call she's giving like details she's like oh there's about this many niggas in here okay come down the stairs they're like okay we're all dressed now we about to go outside and start dancing and she then dances a little bit goes back to her phone she texts me she's like don't look like nobody's strapped because all these niggas know each other so don't look like nobody's strapped and
This is where we meet the rest of the players in the house. There are several men. Um, some of their names are Anthony Bernard Blunt, Kyson Evans, Willie Shelton, and Joshua Daniels. Now Kyson, Kyson B Evans was born on November 11th, 1973. He had 10 children at,
At the time of this story, he had eight and two were in the womb. And he went by the nickname Little Mule. I don't know what the hell he was. That's what it sounded like. Now, also, there was Anthony Bernard Blunt, who was born January 16th of 1971. He had 10 siblings. He was single. He was popular. He actually had a degree in psychology. He worked for DCFS. He was a social worker. So he knew all the guys. And he was also one of those people that...
He was down with everybody because he grew up around here, but also, like, he's the educated one. He's the one telling y'all, hey, y'all boys, pass the 40 and y'all all should be at church on Sunday. What's the problem with y'all kids? Let me see what I can help everybody out with. Like, being the person that he wanted to be in the community, but also still being a part of his community. Helping people that had substance abuse, helping people with mental health issues. And he was one of those people that had a big heart, and everybody knew that.
Also there was Josh Daniels and Josh was a former football player. Okay, so the party is jumping, right? Like Tazzy said, they're drinking, they're smoking, they're popping eggs. And so the girls, they're out, they're dancing, they're having a good time. Everybody, it's a house party. And these guys have known each other forever. They call each other the Valley Boys because that's like where they grew up and that's what they call each other.
It's an angel. She keeps sneaking back to get on the phone with her man, Dante. Because remember, Dante is with his twin brother and them other niggas outside. And so he's also giving her instructions. All right, Shawty, try to get everybody. Say y'all going to do a dance. Get everybody in the same room so that everything...
Everything can work. And she's like, okay, baby. Okay. And so she goes back. She's like, okay, it's party time. Everybody in here. I need every, I need every bottle in the club in this room right now. Come on in. And
All right, we about to do a little dance for you, okay? All right. And so they turn on the music, beats jumping, the girls start dancing, and boom, the door is bust open. Dante, the first one in the house, four niggas come in here, masked up, gloved up, guns a-blazin'. Dante's holding an AK-47. He's like, yo, yo, yo, everybody on the ground. Fucking niggas, we about to make this choppa dance. Give us everything you got.
Now behind Dante is Pig, Shoo Shoo, and Dante. Everybody's on the ground. The niggas, the strippers, everybody scared, right? These guys, they start going around. They taking all the money off the floor, all the shit that's been thrown. Strippers like, damn, ain't this some shit? Come out here to work and get fucking robbed. And Dante, he tell everybody moving shit. He not feeling like he getting the respect he deserves. He's like, don't y'all see I'm the big bad motherfucking wolf?
I came in here with this AK and shit, and y'all want to move slow? Nigga, when I say jump, y'all say how high. So he just want to show everybody he mean business. So he shoot the shit off in the air. Pop, pop. Blown out the lights. Now, the ceiling was concrete, so the bullets are just ricocheting. All of that, five different people get hit. It's eight niggas at the party. Five of them hit. Anthony Blunt, one of the guests in attendance, killed immediately from the bullet.
They said it was at point blank range. They said the speckle from the gun was on his face. That's how close, like he was immediately out. Anthony is gone, but this doesn't slow anything down. They continue to round up money. They get about a total of $1,500. They got everybody's jewelry and chains. Dante like, what the fuck is this shit?
1500 that's just what you promised the three girls here he ain't saying this out loud but he was like 1500 was just what these girls supposed to get so what the fuck was y'all tipping with y'all better show me some goddamn money and I mean now fires a couple more times niggas better take me fucking serious hand this shit over
sexy black is terrified this girl started reciting a prayer yea though i walk through the valley of the shadow of death i will feel no evil for the heart is with me lord please let me make it out alive like she's crying like i just gotta hide myself up lord cover me now keesan he don't know what to do he just trying to like
I don't know. He was like, hey, hey, hey, stop. If you go in the back, there's a shoebox and that has some money in it. Now, this was a very short-sighted plan because they go in the back and either there's no shoebox or there's no money in the shoebox. But now this is pissing Dante off even more because now niggas think I'm fucking playing with them. And goes up to Keysan and shoots him in the head for lying point blank in front of everybody. I think...
It keeps escalating, right? So first you come in and you're being robbed, right? That's already scary. Four masked men and this nigga got an AK. But hopefully if everybody just cooperate, they'll just leave us alone. This nigga just start shooting at the sky. Now you've killed somebody, not even on purpose, but you've accidentally created a body in here. You know what I mean? Now you shooting niggas point blank execution style. Like, yeah.
What is happening after doing this? That's when Dante Dante Shushu appeared they decide to leave now this all happened this whole chaotic scene Happened within five ten minutes max. So what I'm saying, it's escalating. It's escalating and everybody is they're freaking out They don't it came out of nowhere for the guys For having like this peaceful boys night - everybody's on the ground - oh shit. They're shooting. Oh shit. They're dead like it and
It moves so quickly. Yeah. And these your boys. Yeah. After they leave, Keita, Sexy, they run back to the room. They get all their clothes. And they said they had to help Angel get dressed because she was so nervous. She was shaking. She throwing up. Because Anthony, the one who got caught by the ricochet bullet, blood's just pooling out of his mouth.
And he was trying to talk and couldn't, just blood pulling out of his mouth. And Angel was like, this too much. She puts her little pistol that she's supposed to have for protection in her underwear. They're trying to get ready to get out of there. There was a lot of people at this party, a lot more than just the ones who was injured. A few of them hauled ass. I think four people got in the car and left, like,
Not where I want to be anymore. Y'all can have it. Now, the first 911 call was made at 2.30 a.m. And literally while they are driving away from the scene, the police are driving towards the scene. Police officer Jarvis Jaica and Melissa Chappell were the first to arrive. And they were like, by the phone call, we had no idea what we were coming up on. But when they entered the house, the first thing that they saw was Anthony. And Anthony was...
It was a gruesome scene. He was bleeding severely. He was moaning. He was groaning. He was alive. But you can tell that he was in immediate pain and he was just like, I don't want to die. Like, this is not it. I just don't want to die. I don't want to die. Please, please help.
Now, when the police start calling in backup and EMS come and the men are being checked on one by one, they see that a total of five men were shot and two of the men were dead and two of them were injured. Now, Joshua Daniels, he was the first to be shot. He was shot in his hands, his thighs, his abdomen, his torso.
When they're trying to tend him, they decide that they need to rush him to the hospital. He needed multiple surgeries. He was basically fighting. He was fighting for his life. And doctors were like, I am not sure. I really am not sure if he's going to make it. Willie Shelton, he was the next to get shot. He was hit in the stomach and in the forearm. He went to trauma surgery and he needed multiple surgeries.
Another guy, William, he was shot in the stomach and the shoulder. Anthony, he was fatally shot in the chest and the right thigh and the left hand. He was transferred to the hospital and then he slipped into a coma and passed away. And Kyson Evans was shot in the face and the right thigh. He was the one that was killed immediately.
Willie James, now he was, there was a couple of Willys. So there's Willie, there was another Willie, then there was William. But Willie James, he actually was uninjured. And he ended up having to be tasked with the one that called everybody's family, which that's a hard job too. I'm calling these folks aunties and they mamas and I know them, been on them since they was kids. And hey, I have to tell you about this tragic thing that's happened tonight.
Dante and them, they wrote off and the girls, they're at the party. The police officers, of course, their first thing is to tend to the people that are injured. They're freaking out a bit. Angel's there. She done left the gun in the back room. She had to hurry up and go back in there and get the gun while they still processing while they're still trying to literally count the dead body and see who is or is not injured and who can have life saving measures happen. And there's like, OK, ladies, y'all, we're still need to talk to you. This is clearly a gruesome scene.
Why don't you go ahead and step outside? We're going to come outside. We need to get these men to the hospital. And they're like, okay, okay. So the girls step outside and they step in the car and they drive away. Now, when they get in the car and they start driving back, first of all, Keita was like, girl, that was crazy. And I know, I know I did not hear your nigga's voice. I know that wasn't your nigga that I heard in there behind that mask. And just like, listen,
Yes, it was like we do this all the time. We go out, we we rob people. But like that was scary in there. And she's driving angel nervous because this is the first time actually killing somebody while doing a little strip of parties. She can't even drive right. And driving Orlando is already crazy. So driving back to Orlando, she was getting lost. And he was like, bitch, are you stupid? Are you crazy? We could have got killed.
I don't this is this ain't how we do this shit and Angela's like this is how we make money she said this ain't how I make money and I feel Katie like first of all for your man to be involved is one thing but for you to knowingly be involved and you to know this shit is going down and you invite me to be a part of this and you don't even give me no forewarning about no shit you don't care about me
Like, I need to know exactly what I'm getting into every single time. You put me in a position to be an open fire and didn't tell me. You could have set up one of the girls you don't fuck with, you told me. Angel's like, it's okay. Like, every time I go somewhere, he be like, we finna rob these niggas. So it's just what we do. And it's like, girl, I don't care what you and your nigga do. Not up in here.
Now, the plan was that Angel was supposed to drop the girls off and that she was supposed to be with Dante at the gas station, but she didn't end up meeting with him. And she was like, listen, babe.
Keita she know what's going on she know it was you and we talked she's not she's a little she's a little afraid but we talked and she's not gonna say nothing about it don't say it's like it definitely did not go as planned what the fuck and Keita is like I know I don't hear this nigga and this girl talking in the broad open bright daylight about killing these people and about how it wasn't enough money
for her it's probably surreal like first of all it happened second of all now I know we was at y'all was a part of it third of all y'all just talking about it like we outside we outside and not even talking about it in a state of panic but like damn we ain't making up like fuck it like very nobody's talking about there's two bodies on the floor nobody's saying that and how many other people fighting for their life
We're at two. We're really at, like, one and counting or something. But, like, several people went to the hospital. Several people had gunshot wounds. Multiple gunshot wounds. Yeah, beat this up real bad. And because it was, like, the basement or whatever, they said that the—and you were saying it was ricocheting. Like, they can—they were able to tell, like, one bullet that was entering a body, going out of the body, bouncing off the wall, and entering in their bodies again. They put holes in them, okay? Yeah.
and keto she just like she really could not get with it and she was like please take me home and angel was like okay girl but i gotta get rid of this gun first and keto was like dude you gotta do but please take me home i need you to take me home she's like okay girl but i'm gonna stop by the liquor store get some liquor on this look from this nigga named little d hurry up and take me home
And then when they take her home, I don't know if the car was junky or what, but one of the masks that the niggas had fell out right outside of her house. And she was like, oh, my gosh, it keeps following me. The bad luck just keeps following me.
With the girls slaying the scene and most of the men in critical condition, the police were really desperate to find something to go off of. They went and they checked in with the doctors and Dr. David Bjerken performed surgery on Joshua Daniels. Now, Joshua had over 20 entry and exit wounds, like...
They really think they really didn't think that he was going to survive, that it was basically he was just going to die from the extent of the wounds. But magically, miraculously, whichever way you want to call it, he survived.
And they were like, "Okay, this is good. We can go talk to Josh." And they're trying to figure out if maybe he can identify the girls. Maybe he knows what was going on. He was like, "I don't really know." He was like, "I just know that the girl, she was like the ringleader of all of them. There was one that was really like, she was head honcho." And it was like, "Okay, here's a booklet that they put together of all the strippers that got sexy, they got Angel," which I mean, Sexy Somebody and Angel Somebody are very common stripper names, "that they could find. And they have him go through this book of girls."
He goes to the book and he's like, I don't see any of them in here. He was like, Willie is the one that hired the girls for the night, so he would be the one to know. They were like, yeah, well, Willie is still in very, very critical condition. Police still weren't able to talk to him yet. And really, he is the person that would have the information that they need to know to maybe get to the next step in this case.
And Willie, his injuries were so bad that he actually stayed in the hospital for two years after this happened. He wasn't able to go home for two years. That's how bad like his recovery process was. Now, all of this is happening down at
at the police station and meanwhile Angel is thinking that she got away with it and so was her nigga Dante and like even right after all this happened the very next day Angel she goes down to Dante house not Dante house Dante mama house then he pulls out this Gucci bag and she recognizes the Gucci bag because one of the men were wearing the Gucci bag at the party and
And so he pulls out the Gucci bag. And remember, these guys, like when they said, get on the floor, give me everything, the guys did it. They complied. So they at least have jewelry and chains and bracelets. And they're like, OK, OK, we got we working with a little something. They go with it and they pick out like, oh, baby, this will look so good on you. You should keep this. And he's like, yeah, baby, this bracelet looks really good on you. And then, of course, they're like, OK, we're going to pump it.
pawn this stuff over here get some more money and when I say they are going to pawn it I mean Angel is going to pawn it because of course Dante's not going to and then they're like okay now that we got this money it's time to splurge call up Dante and tell him and his girl Kim to come on to the motel where we're staying at because we're having a love fest and
at the motel because we can't afford to. And they get there and they discuss a lot of things. They talk about the money. They talk about the jewelry. They talk about who's going to get what money. And then Kim, remember, that's Dante's girl. She was like, shit, give me some of the money. I'll go to the pawn shop for y'all as well. I'm not sure how much money she got. All this was real jewelry. These men...
had a little bit of money with him. I know that Angel pawned something and she got a thousand dollars. Of course, it went straight to Dante because why would she get to keep it for herself? The next couple of days while police are trying to figure out what's happening at the hospital, they call up Pig, they call up Shushu, they let him know, come pick up your cut, shawty, we got a little something for you for a job well done. What, this happened on September 8th? On September 11th, the police are like...
At this point, it appears that it's a robbery. We're still deep in the investigation. We really don't have much to give. And the police are combing the streets for as much information as they can. Kyson Evans, he was laid to rest on September 16th, 2006. And Anthony Blunt was laid to rest on September 17th, 2006. So it's been three nights since...
the robbery slash homicide and Katie got her mama stressed out. Katie stressed out. She told her mama about what happened. Her mama done found this ski mask and a glove. She was like, girl, you better go talk to police and get your name out this shit.
So they go down to the station and she brings a ski mask and a glove to the police department. It's September 9, 2006, and Dana, Keita's mom, gives a statement. She says she was headed for work around 4.15 a.m. when Keita calls her and says that she's on her way home. Mom's like, so I'm waiting on Keita and Angel. They close friends. And so eventually they come up to the house when Twin gets out the back seat and hops up to the front. By Twin, she means Dante.
She says, then I see Nikita getting out the car and she's shaking. She's visibly upset. And I'm like, girl, what's going on? And she says, I can't tell you right now. I have to go with Angel to drop him off. I'll be back. And of course, this left me very, very concerned about my daughter. So they pull off. So she says they pull off and she sees a ski mask and a black glove in her yard. It's by the driver's door where Angel was parked. And she picks them up and she throws them away. And she's like, and I pick them up and I throw them away. I'm not thinking nothing of it.
I get off of work later that day and Nikita is still upset when I get home. She's like paranoid. I can tell something's wrong. So I asked her what happened. She goes and she takes the ski mask and the glove for the trash can. She tells me what happened. And that's when I came to talk to y'all. And the police are like, finally, this is the break that we needed because they had nothing. Case was about to go cold. They had no DNA.
They have no witnesses, none that was willing to talk. They had nothing. And finally, Nikita just falls upon their lap. So on September 13th, the police are like, OK, Angel, we want to talk to you. Now, Angel's like, Dante, listen, the police are telling me I need to come in and talk to you. And Dante is like, OK, how that? He's got to get smart. You know what I'm saying? Got to put on his critical thinking skills. So what does he do? He changes her name and her phone.
He changes his name and her phone from Dante to granddaddy. Daddy, that's too easy, right? But granddaddy, you'll never know. Now, before she goes in, Dante tells Angel, tell the police that you was dating my twin, Dante. The old switcheroo. He was like, baby, just promise me, promise me you ain't gonna tell the police what I did. And she's like, of course, I'd never betray you.
Now, later this same day, it's said that Angel calls the twins' mom and says, quote, I can't believe your sons would do something like this. Angel is brought in for interrogation the very next day. And you see she's trying to be sneaky deaky, like she's trying to be like, oh, this is somebody that I used to talk to.
I don't really know him like that. She doesn't even call him by his name. And probably because she couldn't pronounce Dante. And she just wanted to say twin because that would have been my excuse. And then she says, I think she just trying not to name nobody. Because she gonna slip and say her nigga name. They too close. And then the detectives are like, listen, girl.
It's feeling like more and I need more. So what else can you give us? And this interrogation went on for several hours and she kept going back and forth on her story. You didn't want to talk, but you tell me a story, but your story keep changing. Either Dante ain't have nothing to do with it or you won't have any information. Cause if you saying Dante has nothing to do with it, that's telling me that you do have information. So which one is it? She was like, listen, I got a kid to take care of. I got a son. I,
Don't want to be involved in any of this and I don't have anything to do with any of this and the police they are sympathetic and
They know that if you snitch on somebody, especially somebody that's as high up and in the streets as Dante is, then maybe there'll be some repercussions. And she didn't really want that. But the police were a couple steps ahead of her. They already went to the judge. They already got her record subpoenaed. And they were just waiting to basically get the results back.
And when they do, baby, they have some real answers. On your burner phone, even if you change the number from Dante to granddaddy, they still can tell who it was. But here's the thing. At first they couldn't because it was a burner phone. And so they didn't know who it was.
And it was clearly the phone was under the name of somebody that they did not know. Dunstant used a fake ID. So the police are like, listen, do you know that you're going to be charged with robbery and murder when this comes back? And she's like, I'll actually be charged with two murders. And if anyone else dies, you'll be charged with their murder. Believe me, you wouldn't be charged with this if I didn't have it.
Which is true, like, what you mean? That shows that you don't know the law. Because, girl, you were involved in this crime because you know them niggas. So now she's, like, crying. And she is just sitting there like, okay, okay, I'll tell you the story. I'll tell you the story. Just, I don't want to be charged like that. And then she does tell the story. You know, my conversation...
And at this point, Angel starts telling the story about the robbery, about the setup, about the motel, about the pawn jewelry. And...
She later says that it was really her mom. She was thinking about her mom. She had talked to her mom before. And she was just like, I knew that I listened to what my mom said. And if I just did what I had to do, that I would not spend my life behind bars because I could not spend my life away from my child. I had to say something, which like, girl, yes. And they were like, OK, what else can you tell me? She's like, I know there's Dante and I know there's Dante and there's Shushu and there's Pig. And they said, OK, who is Shushu and who is Pig? She said, I do not know.
They said, no, girl, who is Shushu and who is Pig? And she's like, I do not know. I really don't know Pig. I've seen Shushu before. He's short. He be hanging out with Dante. They be robbing niggas together. I don't really know. I can tell you that Pig was like a big fat nigga. He was over 200 pounds and maybe he was bald. That's why they call him Pig. And they're like, okay, all right, Angel. Turn around, hands behind your back.
Angel was arrested. She stands in front of the judge and she kind of like bails out. I think they said that her her bond was like three hundred thousand dollars. And she ended up going out and she had an ankle monitor on. And now now what's crazy is at this time, Dante, he has been picked up.
Not for anything that has to do with this crime, but he had a case open from earlier. So on September 18th, he was arrested, which he's arrested. They don't have anything technically connecting him to this case. She is now out with the ankle monitor. And of course, the agreement with the judge is that you cannot have any contact with anybody involving this case. And she says, yeah, yeah, sure, judge, whatever you say. Let me out, put the ankle monitor on, let's boogie.
Angel sang like a bird. They offer her a deal. They say, you testify against the twins and we can work something out for you. She says, let's go that route. And she bonds out on a $300,000 bond in November of 2006. As stressful as this all may have been, like a nigga just told you, you facing life. What are you going to tell on your man that you love? And you like caught in this position and
And they was like, all right, now, the terms of your bill is do not talk to the twins, okay? If you want to live your life, you better start living it right now. Oh, but Angel's in love. Is she calling Dante up at the jail? Which is recorded.
She is writing Dante up at the jail, which they going through. They see the little pictures that she sent him. And her ass got the ankle monitor on in the pictures. They was like, these are recent pictures. You have had the terms of your bond when you took these pictures and mailed these pictures. She even decided to try and go up to the jail and visit this man.
You can't hide from the law while being up at the law. It don't...
If you ain't living right, do that off of federal property. Okay, that's how I ain't do it. But if I did, she is talking. And I think there was even a point in time where the police are trying to question her, like on the lie detector, and she starts lying about part of the story. They was like, all right, you ain't for real. You can go to jail. She go to jail on December 21st, and she do not like it there. She's like, please, please give me my bond back. Mm-hmm.
I do right, I promise. But the judge was like, I heard you wouldn't follow my rules. You don't want to take this seriously. I'm not going to take you seriously. So he sends her back to jail. Let me tell you, that's the last Dante hurt her ass. She was like, okay, I'm done playing. But Dante wasn't too hurt because he done got himself a new girl. Somebody else right in him.
Sending sexy photos. He's moved on. She's writing letters to the judge. I now realize that Dante was just using me. I have been fully cooperative with the prosecutors and the Orlando and Eustace detectives. Please release me. The judge was like, no, no, no. She said, there are real criminals in here. And I realized that I am not one of them.
The detectives are still investigating and on February of 2007, the detectives, they locate the rental car that went to the pawn shop. Kim. At the pawn shop, most of this jewelry, like Mariah said, it's already been melted and stuff, but they have a pawn slip. And on this pawn slip is Angel's fingerprints and her signature. They also have her cell phone records where she's calling Dante and
They also went through Dante's phone, which gives them the identity of Pig and Shushu. Pig is identified as Mr. Kendall Starks, and Shushu is identified as Jonathan Frazier. They also find out that Dante has a phone in the name of a woman named April Glover, which is really a pseudonym for April Lester. And it's just some girl who got him on her account. I don't know what kind of games he's running over here, but she got him on her account.

rocketmoney.com/sistas. Dante was the first person to go to trial and his trial took place April 13th through 17th, 2009. Circuit court judge T. Michael Johnson heard the case.
Of course, the first people to come up were the paramedics, and they testified to the horrible scene of the crime about walking in and seeing these men just bleeding profusely. The prosecutor talked about how much, like, he met with Angel for quite a bit, especially to prepare for this case. And he talked about how Angel was like this wannabe thug girlfriend, but she really didn't have what it took to be a thug girlfriend. However, Dante had what it took to be a thug, and he was definitely exercising that right. And actually,
a pretty decent person the prosecutor is saying this about her really trying to add stuff up on dante and he actually recommended that dante did receive the death penalty in this case
They say, listen, when it comes to Dante, it was his idea. It was his plan. He was calling the shots. He's the ringleader. And now all of this was his choice. And now, ladies and gentlemen of the jury, the choice is yours. Medical examiners came up and talked about the states of Kyson's and Anthony's bodies when they were deceased and then came to the stand was Angel. And she talked about how Dante was basically the main perpetrator when it came to this whole scheme.
She talked about how he was the first person to enter the house. He was the person that did the most talking. He was the one with the machine gun. He was the one saying, I'm about to let the chopper sing. When you point to who was in charge, you're pointing to Dante. And Angel wasn't the only person to testify. Nikita, she came to the police officers like, I, my conscience, I need to talk to you. I need to tell you what happened.
And of course she also testified and she talked about how her and Angel used to dance together for a while before the party happened. She was with Angel and she was with Dante. And after everything went down, she knew that one of those people was Angel's man, Dante. She's like, I knew the voice. Like I couldn't, I couldn't, I couldn't,
Could place that voice anywhere. I didn't even know that niggas name at the time because everybody just call him twin They just call him twin when it came to who was holding the big gun She was like he was playing the big gun. She said a big gun. It was a chopper She said she was terrified and scaring everybody else at the party and then just bullets started ringing out and the fact that those girls didn't get hit thinking about how those bullets were just ricocheting bouncing off of the cement and going back and forth some guys were hit like four times by the same bullet and
It really is a miracle that none of those girls got hit. Remember, there was a couple of Willys and Williams that were attendants to the party. And one of the guys that actually did not get injured from the shooting, that was William. And he said that he actually went with Willie when they went to the gas station to get the girls and show them where the party was. He pretty much testified the same thing that everybody else did. He said, you know, when they started asking for the money and stuff, he was like, I didn't even...
I didn't even hesitate. I pulled a couple hundred dollars out of my pocket, laid it down, and laid face down and hoped for the best. And it was actually William that ran in the middle of the street and told the bystanders, like, hey, someone please call 911. Please, please, someone call 911. Now, Willie, remember, he had to be in the hospital for two years after this injury, but he was still able to show up and to testify in court. And he talked about how he met Angel, and he asked Angel to come to the party. He negotiated to deal with her. And...
He said after everything happened, after the first shot, it just went crazy. It was shoot after shot after shot after shot after shot. Like it was chaos. He was like, honestly, it felt like it was 30 minutes of gunfire. You know, it was really only like three minutes total, like three to five minutes tops. But it was so crazy. It felt like it was 30 minutes. And he even remembers Kyson who passed away. Kyson saw Joshua Daniel get shot multiple times.
And he remembers Kyson yelling out like, hey, hey, don't be shooting my partner. Don't shoot my partner no more. Like, what are you doing? What are you doing? And then, of course, they turn the guns on Kyson.
He talked about how he could hear his friends scream and holler, please, somebody, please, please help me. And he was like, at the end of the day, we didn't know who any of those men were. He knew that two of them was dark skin, tall and black. He knew that one was short and stocky. And actually, Willie, it happened so quick, he didn't even remember if there was a fourth man. He remembered three men. Jimmy, who was uninjured, testified to NPR.
everything that happened that you already know and he said at the end of the day at the end of that night we were just sitting there looking crazy it happened so quick we had no idea they even had they even had the person that sold they even had the person that rented kim the vehicle listen i work at avis budget group i did not sign up to be on trial
With all this evidence, like his defense really didn't have a defense. They were just really trying to get the man from having the death penalty because he was scared. Like he didn't want to die in there. I'm trying to figure out. OK. And he won't die in there. So the jury decided that they were going to find him guilty. And we'll see during the sentence of phase what you get. And at this point, he really just looking at life or death.
So all this time, Dante's in jail waiting his time. He actually was locked up with James Witherspoon, who was an attendee of the party but was uninjured. And they were locked up together at Lake County Jail. And James actually heard about Dante telling other... James actually said that Dante would have other inmates come to him and ask him about the girls who were at the party and stuff like that. Like, just pretty much question him about that night. Weird shit. Another...
Norman Barbers was in the jail talking about how Dante was awaiting his trial. And he was always talking about the murder and the robbery in detail. Like, it was obvious that he was there. He's in jail talking about it. And he talked about it. He was like, I ain't worried. My girl ain't about to testify on me or none of that shit. That ain't phasing me. Now, at this time, it's Dante's, like, fourth trial because it was a long time coming.
The first trial, the prosecutor was trying to question Dante's girlfriend, baby mama Kim. And he was like, didn't I ask you to come in and speak with me? And she was like, yes, you did. And he was like, didn't I say you can bring Dante in if you want? And she was like, yes, you did. And he was like, and didn't he decline to come in? And she was like, yes, he did. And Dante's defense lawyer was like, yeah.
Based on the Fifth Amendment right, the jury should not have known that I had a chance to talk and declined. That's incriminating. The prosecution is like, actually, that was my mistake. Judge, good call. We'll declare it a mistrial. Just try it again. They go back for round two. And Angel got on the stand and testified that she was required to undergo a lie detector test before the prosecutors would consider giving her immunity.
And for whatever reason, this caused a mistrial. And it was like, you're tainting the jury again at this point.
The defense, they're like, let's just go for double jeopardy. Let's just say you tried it and you lost. And the judge is like, no, no, I don't think we've quite reached the point of double jeopardy yet. Like, leave it at a mistrial. There's a chance to go again. They set up time for a third trial. But then the prosecution's like, let's just scrub this because I wasn't able to find an expert witness to testify to these phone records. And these phone records is what's tying you to this crime. So I need these damn phone records.
Like, Angel's testimony is good and all, but this here is the nail. And I ain't moving forward without this nail. So they pushed it back again, quit that trial. And now it's his big day for real, for real. Now the fence gets up there and they're like, Dante ain't had nothing to do with these robberies. It's fallacies. They're making all of this up. Dante has a friend, as we'll call him, named D'Andrew Scott. He's 20 years old. They call him Lil' D.
And Lil D's in jail. Lil D's in prison serving a five-year sentence for armed robbery. But Lil D says, ain't no way Dante was involved in this murder, because Dante was with me that night. Yeah, we was in Orlando gambling, so he couldn't have done it. How he going to be in two places at once? Now, Lil D tried to argue, oh...
The prosecution don't want me to testify. They told me they was going to charge me with perjury if I testify. The prosecution was like, that's absolutely not true. We did not act improperly. We may have told him if he's lying, we'll commit him with perjury. But we did not say if you testify, we're committing perjury. We're going to get you for perjury. Hold on.
But defense is holding strong to this argument. He says it was Dante's crew. They said, listen, nigga, fuck your brother. We trying to save your life, right? It was Dante crew. Shit, he already convicted anyways.
He set this up. It ain't had nothing to do with Dente. Just because they twins don't mean that they was inseparable. One guy saying someone don't. Please don't let this innocent brother go down for his brother's mistakes. He is the evil twin. This is the good twin. Y'all know how this goes? Prosecution is saying, no, you're bugging. There was definitely both twins present at the time of this murder. Both twins were armed at the time of the murder and both of them need to face these charges.
Angel gets up there. She testifies on this one, too, telling him who she was in contact with. She said she was telling him how many people in the house. She recognized both brothers' voices and even that she recognized Shushu and Pig. They still hadn't been brought up on any charges. Now, the defense is like, yo, y'all gonna believe Angel?
She's a liar. She done perjured her. She was free and lied and got herself back locked up. She'll say anything to be free. She don't care about this, man. She care about herself. Y'all gonna trust her. She got a deal to testify. You can't take her word. The jury's got a lot to think about. They go. They talk amongst themselves. And they said, we're going to go bullshit on that alibi. Sorry, Lil D. No dice.
That nigga was in eustace with the rest of them. We're going to say he was definitely present during the crime. But they also said that they don't believe that he fired a gun during the crime. Not that he didn't have a gun, but they're sold that Dante was firing him fucking rounds. And they proceed to find Dante guilty. So the victim's families are in the courtroom and they're pretty much emotionless, you know. They're really trying to keep it together because...
They want this to go through. And there was a point in the trial where they were going through testimony of what happened the night of the murder. And Keyshawn's mom just loses it. She's crying uncontrollably. And the judge is like, stop, stop, jury. You cannot let that outburst that she just had affect your decision making anymore.
on if you think this man is guilty. Like, she tainted the jury a little bit. And this man done already had about two, three mistrials, you know what I'm saying? So when I say they was trying to keep her together, she was not trying to be the reason this nigga slip away. But even afterwards, Keeson's mom was like, this is not closure for me. But justice has been served for these two. I'll wait for the day when they catch the other two who should be punished the same as these. Now.
Shoo Shoo and Pig, although were arrested, they were arrested for an unrelated crime and never faced charges for this one. The twins' mother has reportedly declined to discuss her boys publicly after all of this went down, which I probably would decline to speak publicly about my kids as well. Mm-hmm.
But in a very brief telephone interview, she said that her sons aren't what the police are trying to make them out to be and take county. She said, you know, of course, it's really hard to realize that your kids are murderers.
During the penalty phase of Dante's trial, she testified that the boys struggled in Orange County schools with truancy, behavioral issues, developmental issues, and that she really hoped that the court would take that into consideration when handing down their sentence. Basically, a death row litigator plus...
added together with a psychological report basically is what kept the boys off of death row dante was sentenced to death and dante was sentenced to life without the possibility of parole now when you think about angel remember we said that she had to talk to the prosecuting prosecution quite a bit and she actually came up came to have a camaraderie with them
On May 5th, 2010, in a very rare letter to the judge, the assistant state attorney, Bill Gross, actually pointed out Angel and commended her and told the judge that she was very essential in bringing justice to two dangerous, heartless thugs. They talked about how she actually came really close with the prosecution, even to the point where...
annual pictures of her family and things like that, the prosecution was getting pictures of her and keeping up with what she was doing. They said in that letter that the 19-year-old wannabe thug has disappeared and in her place there is a responsible young woman who works full-time as a restaurant manager, takes care of her four-year-old and hangs around an entirely different type of people. We don't see many success stories in this line of work.
And he says that when you think about Angel, Angel is one of them. Though the prosecutor did not recommend a sentence to the judge, he did point out that Angel was fulfilling her end of the bargain. Remember, Angel is out, but she ain't been sentenced yet. She doesn't know what's going to come. She took a plea deal. She's out. She's working. But she still has a couple of court dates coming up just to close the chapter on this part of her life.
So with all of this going down, they had I think they had six felonies against her, two. They were including murder. There were at least two counts of first degree murder. And because of her testimony, she actually in return pled guilty to conspiracy to commit armed robbery.
Angel was living her life and everybody really thought that she had this heart of repentance. She said when Angel was thinking about it, she was like, I wish it never happened. And so here it is. Angel is getting ready to go back to court. She's already pled guilty. She's going back to find out what her sentencing is. She's going to stand in front of the judge. And I think what she didn't think was going to happen was that all of those men's people was going to show up because they did. She's going to stand in front of the judge.
She told her boss she's the manager of a restaurant. She said, I will be back in work tomorrow. She even pulled up to the courthouse with her baby, not a baby, a four-year-old, but her baby. And when she got there, there were so many people that were speaking up about her that she really felt like this was going to go in her favor. But also there were the victim's families that had to talk. And they said one of the victim's families said,
When I was a teenager, I got in trouble for shoplifting. I had to go to juvie. If you do a crime, you do something wrong, you have to pay for it. That's how it goes and that's how it should be. One person said, I really don't believe that you thought that you was going to show up and that people were going to die, but you knew that you were going to show up and you were going to do something illegal and you knew that people had guns. Therefore, you were in the wrong and you must pay for that. And it really was hard because she was young. She was lovestruck. She was very naive, but she has turned her life around. Isn't that what we want?
We don't even have her on a murder charge. We don't even know if she's a murderess for real, for real. But does she deserve this? She's clearly learning to be a better person. And the judge goes back and he goes into his chambers and he thinks, thinks, thinks. And he says...
Angel, you may not believe this, but I am doing you a favor for how horrible this crime was and that you did participate in it. And yes, you did testify to get the gunman behind bars, but you will still pay. And so for your conspiracy to commit robbery, I am giving you 10 years.
And that knocked the wind out of her because she was not expecting that. She was expecting to go to work too. She thought she was going to have probation, that she was going to get drug tested, that she was going to get on the list. She's like 10? 10 years? He sentenced me to 10 years? And at this point, like, she's...
Can't believe this is happening. You sentenced me to 10 years. 10. Did I hear that? 10 years. And they're like, ma'am, you need to calm down. Her son is in the hallway. And at this point, it's an eruption in the court. And little boy is outside talking to the other adults. And he's four. He's like, where's my mommy? Can I get my mommy? I miss her. Can somebody take me to see my mommy? Like, she got locked up. Where's my mommy? I need her. Which is like, why would you bring your child to court anyways? You're not your four-year-old.
Even if you thought you were getting probation, why would you bring your child to court? And so that's so they took her. They locked her up and she started her 10 year bid. Her son was given into the custody of Angel's mom and her son is being raised somewhere outside of the state of Florida. And it's none of our business, is it? So Dante files an appeal.
niggas got the death penalty so it's like automatic appeal but was denied in february of 2012 and it's crazy because the judge that they had on this trial he was against the death penalty like he doesn't really believe in capital murder but he was like according to what this law here is telling me i should consider for capital murder so you deserve capital murder he's still on death row in florida that's a crazy looking nigga i'm telling you
Like they say that they're identical, but he definitely looks crazier than Dante. He is still currently incarcerated, but his current release date for some reason says pending. Maybe his sentence was commuted to life without parole. Fuzzy details there. In June, like the end of June of 2012, Angel, she had filed for appeal and it got rejected. Now in her appeal, she had
two handwritten pages from a woman named Tamara Ghiselli and she was 28 and she was the niece of Anthony Blunt, one of the victims. Literally the niece of the person who is the reason she's here pretty much, right? And they would go to Bible study together and Tamara was like, I forgive her and I plan on keeping her in my prayers.
And this wasn't like some distant uncle to Tamera either. She was raised in the house. This was Uncle B. She viewed him like growing up together. That was basically like her brother. But being in a jail, being in Bible study together, waiting. She was in there waiting a court date on a drug offense. And she said we became friends, like friends, like as if we've known each other forever. Friends.
There's something about Angel, turning hearts and making people want to do a different way. She was really hoping that would play a big part in her appeal. She also, her defense lawyer, he wanted to stress how she made changes. She used to be a drug abuser, amateur stripper with a thug boyfriend.
And now she's a working single mom. She's walking the straight line. She shed her old way of life. Like, she's responsible now. She understands that you have to make better decisions. He was like, a lot of people say they've changed, but she's showing us that she's changed.
The coffee house, the woman who owned the coffee house that Angel worked at, she was like she was only here for a year and a half and she's already been promoted to store manager. She's a very hard worker. We like her here. And she said anybody who spent any small amount of time with her instantly feels her warmth and her genuineness and was even like, listen, judge, should you decide to change your mind and let this girl free? I'll hold this job for her.
So you just let me know. That's that's how much we like her here. Angel's mom, she wrote in asking for leniency. She sent a damn baby pictures of her daughter. Elementary school ballerina pictures and shit. Just like, look at this sweet baby. Talking about, don't you remember? She wrote a poem and said, don't you remember when you were a teenager? I wish I had it so I could read it to y'all. I don't have it.
But as strong as all this was, the judge was like, as much as I'm happy to see the change in y'all, I got to respect the victims in this case. Because let me tell you something, Kisan Evans' mama was there, was telling her, no, no, no, don't let her go.
This is a father of 10. I have to help raise my grandkids because he's not here. And the judge was like, also, just as much as I appreciate your change, in addition to honoring the victims, I got to look at what your actions were saying. You, the weeks leading up to the trial,
I told you to stay away and you didn't stay away. You still out there trying to contact him. You still out there trying to visit him. I've got a handwritten note from you to him titled Bonnie and Clyde. Bonnie and Clyde are a notorious killer couple. That's what you were aspiring to be. You did it. So at the back of my mind, I really got to think, are you sorry or are you sorry you got caught? Like, I love these changes that you were making, but you didn't make them until I threw you back in jail.
So maybe some jail time is what you need. So with that, he denied her appeal and Angel did her time. And she was released from prison on April 23rd of 2018, serving exactly 10 years. And she was 31 at the time of her release. All right, y'all, it's time for... I'm not black. I'm OG. I didn't do it, but if I did, this is how I would have got away with it. I ain't do it, but if I did...
I would have said, yes, absolutely. We'll do it for $500 each. I'll bring three girls, money up front, get $1,500. Don't even have to rob. These niggas just don't show up. He was already two hours late to the party. Mm-hmm. Now, what she fucked up is, and I do this, too. I am a person who speaks on speakerphone. But if you know your nigga a hellion and you talking about money and that nigga can't keep his hands in his own pot, that's a private conversation you need to be having.
Yeah, absolutely. I ain't do it. But if I did, I would have waited till after the party was when the party was almost done. And I would have just set up the girls, taught the girls how to rob and steal. Like throughout the party, they roaming through the house. They could have stole a whole bunch of shit.
Act like you finna seduce these niggas. Take off they chain. There are different ways to rob them without even pulling a weapon. I ain't do it, but if I did, if I did decide to go along with this robbery, I'm not pulling my homegirls into it. People I actually fuck with. I don't think she really fuck. I don't think these were her homegirls, homegirls. I think these were like her strip friends. Remember Keita's mom was like, her angel pulled up. Angel be here all the time. They ain't like, that's her girl.
Probably from around the stripping club. Not her girl since high school. No, not her girlfriend since high school. But if you know my mom, I'm going to need you to care about me a little more than to send me someplace to get shot the fuck up. Like, my mama know you. I don't know. If I live with my mama and you my ride home, then you probably going to meet her. Mm-mm. Because there's those who drop you off and stay in the car. And there's those who go inside. And those who go inside, like... Sometimes I can go inside and pee and meet your mama. Mm-mm. Mm-mm.
You ain't have to do them like that. I'm sure them was her friends. I ain't do it. But if I did, let me see what else I wrote. Because on top of that, listen, like that ain't even a friend. Because the fact that you sent these girls out here to work and didn't tell them it was a robbery means you really sent these girls out here to waste their time. They drove an hour away to Angel's knowledge to not make no money because y'all planned on stealing all the money.
And you're going to put me through a traumatizing experience? Hell, you're wasting my time. That's why it's not her friend for real. Apparently not. And that's why she told on y'all asses. Because y'all weren't friends for real. I ain't do it. But if I did, I'm quitting as soon as that nigga put my life in danger. Like, if I did decide to go along with that plot, nigga, you busting bullets and this shit is ricocheting. You done shot how many damn people and you want to still fire this shit?
Relax. Like, personally, she did not give him enough hell for firing off like that. Like, to just be like, oh, we came up short. Like, girl, why the fuck did you even pull the trigger in the first place? Ain't nobody armed there. Niggas was getting on the ground. They weren't moving fast enough. Fuck your fast enough, nigga. I ain't do it if I did. I'm definitely not blowing my house arrest.
To still follow behind your murder and ask, because although you got acquitted for the first one, something tells me you did it or had something to do with it. Because that shit came a little too easy for you. Yeah. I would say parole on a parole, but she's out. I need somebody with a real murder charge. And that brings us to the end of the show. All right.
