And welcome back to Sisters Who Kill. I don't even know. What? She just hated this nigga, right? Our players this week are Edwin Daniels, our victim, and LaToya's husband. Allen Robertson, LaToya's boyfriend. Crystal Lott, LaToya's best friend and roommate of LaToya and Edwin. And LaToya Woodard, our murderess.

Latoya A. Woodard was born on January 7th, 1984 to her mom, Terry McQueen, and her father, Wayne Woodard. She had two brothers, Trevor Reeves and Jimmy Reeves. She was notably the favorite child. They were born and raised in Florida. And after she graduated from high school, she decided that she was going to join the Navy. And she

joined the navy she got married really young and then after that in her first marriage she had three children three boys who which already sounds like a lot but i was on it three boys i could see you being a boy mom but either way she was known to be the life of the party she loved to bake

All of her kids, every birthday, she was baking their birthday cake from Mom With Love. Now, things were going okay with her for a while. But in 2002, she was involuntary committed under the Florida Baker Act. The Florida's Baker Act was put in place in 1971. And what it does is it allows involuntary institutionalization in.

of individuals that are impaired by mental illness, if they think that they're going to harm themselves. So she was there in 2002. She had some time in the behavior facility, came out, and she was still with the Navy, which is great. She served for a while. And at that time, she was a secretary. And in 2003, she got accused of desertion. She just didn't come to work, didn't come up for her shift. You can't do that in the military. Right.

So she was prosecuted by the military. And she was like, listen, listen, listen. The reason that I left or I deserted was because I didn't have proper child care for the kids. And they were like, it really is your responsibility. And you know this. And you know that you are not allowed under federal law, not allowed to miss these things. So instead of her actually being charged and going through the full extent of the law that the military could have done because she deserted, they just said... So basically like... Instead of...

Yeah, she they were they were like, instead of doing that, you're just going to get dishonorably discharged. So that means she doesn't reap any benefits. It's almost as if you spent that time for nothing.

Is that all your benefits? Like your kids not going to get the GI Bill or nothing either? Definitely not going to. You might retain a bit more benefits before your kids do. That was 2003. She's working. She's trying to get herself together for the next couple of years. And in 2006, she was Baker Act back into the Behavioral Health Facility. Now, around this time, before this time, maybe immediately after she got out of the Behavioral Health Facility...

Her kids ended up being with grandma, her mom. Now, a couple of people in court records were like, oh, she abandoned her kids with grandma. Grandma was like, no, she did not. I told her that she could have the kids over here while she got herself together. There was no abandoning of children. Grandma had them. And here she is fresh out of her second Baker Act.

She's 23 and she's looking at herself and she's like, I really have to get my footing back together. I want the kids back. I'm glad that grandma's able to take care of them, but I want to make sure that I'm straight. So she decides that she's going to go to church. She's going to church for a little while. She's enjoying her time there. And she looks over and she sees this dude that is working with the media team.

And she's like, hey, dude, that's working with the media team. And it turns out that his name was Edwin Daniels. Edwin Lee Sinclair Daniels was born on October 26, 1982 in Brooklyn, New York. He was born to his mom, Floyd Daniels. He was the third of four children. He had an older brother, Tony Barhu, a middle sister, Sally Walker.

Little Sally walking, and then how I go walking down the street. And he also had a younger sister called Aunt Daniels. Sally said, he was my teddy bear. You always just wanted to hug him and squeeze him, and he was always very friendly. When you watched that Snapped episode, could you place his mom's accent? Because I couldn't. It was given Caribbean. Honestly, for some reason, my money's on Costa Rica now.

It's that hair. Everybody hair so slick.

I don't like guessing where people are from, but I couldn't place the accent. Y'all let us know when y'all watch it. Yeah. Because I was like, I feel like everybody's easiest, like when they hear Caribbean, they go to like Jamaican, but could have been Trinidadian, could be Haitian, it could be anything. He and his family stayed in New York until he was about 12 years old. And then in 1994, they moved down to Florida. He stays in Florida for a while, goes to high school out here. In high school, he starts dating his sister friend, Lachey.

Lashay came up to his sister and was like, hey, your brother kind of fine. And she was like, ew, girl, that's my brother. And she was like, but can I holler at him? And she was like, if you want to, I guess. So she hollered at him.

And they ended up growing close. They was high school lovers. And they really kind of stuck it out. Like, they was lasting, even after high school. And now, Edwin, he's in his transition period, trying to figure out what he's going to do with his life. He wasn't really feeling the college route, but he knew he loved technology, and he started working at Verizon. This is right on time, him securing his job, because...

Because him and his girl find out that they are pregnant. Yeah, so they end up having a son together in 2002. Edwin's only 20 at the time, but he's so happy to welcome his son into the world. Like, this is the most important thing that's ever happened to him that will ever happen to him, right? His son's name is Jordan.

And although he truly loved his son, things just weren't working out with him and Lachey anymore. And they break up shortly after having Jordan. He be damned if that was gonna mess up his relationship with his son.

They co-parent the hell out of him. He would see his son often. They would go to lunches. They'd do activities. Jordan knew he was loved, didn't have to question it, didn't have to think about it. That was very much in the picture. And in addition to being there for his son, he was always there for his family. His brother said he was there. His brother had a daughter, Brittany, and she described this as Edwin's niece, and she said he would do anything for anyone, very hardworking, very family-oriented, like family over everything.

With the free time that Edwin did have, he began volunteering at a local church to help out with their media and technology because that's his thing, right? He's in church, he's working, and he meets 23-year-old Latoya. And at the time, he's 24, like his son is four years old or at least turning four. And they met in a church. What better place, right?

To meet the love of your life, right? Even their family becomes friends and Edwin ends up moving in with Latoya's brother, Jimmy, until they become roommates. So now Latoya and Edwin, they're really kind of seeing a lot of each other because she go to visit her brother and boop, look who's here. And eventually Edwin's like, gotta go, Jimmy.

trading you in for a new roommate and it's your sister and they move in together when edwin met latoya this was after she got out of the hospital for the second time and they're kicking it they're living together you know what happens you live in a little too close playing it a little too loose you get knocked up and latoya got pregnant

Two times. Both with daughters. Don't know their names. Their names weren't released. We got M and we got L. So little M and little L. That's right. So after them being together for about 10 years, they were like, you know what? I do love you. And we should be together forever. I'm going to make a proper woman out of you.

I'm going to get hitched. And they did in 2016. Edwin's brother, Tony, he was a minister, so he actually married the two of them. And after they got married, they officially bought themselves a home together down in Deltona, Florida. So apparently there's Deltona and there's Daytona, and they're all part of the same county. That is what I've learned by way of Google.

So, Deltona is not where you party, but the family lives in the story. The families live in Deltona and in Daytona, and they be driving back and forth. Okay? Everybody with me? Got you. Now that they have a home, like, this is a good situation. They got their girls living in the house. Like, the sons were still with Grandma, but when they wanted to come be with Mom, they had a place to stay. His son, when he came to visit Dad, he had a place to stay. And it really seemed like...

Their home was just that. And then one day, Latoya gets a call from this girl named Crystal Lyd. And Crystal's like, hey, girl. She's like, oh, my goodness. It's my military BFF, Crystal Lyd. And Crystal says, hey, girl. Well, times are hard out here. I need a place to crash. And she was like, don't you worry, your pretty little head friend.

me and my man, we bought a house. We got a place to stay. Now, I'm not sure if she actually paid rent, if Crystal paid rent. It's just not clear to me. I'm going to assume that she did because she's a grown woman. But what we do know is that she was really helping out around the house. Like she was helping out with cleaning the house. She was helping out with the kids a lot. She was doing her fair share. Now, there's not too much that I know about Crystal's background. She was in the Navy and she needed a place to stay. And she said she was going to be there for a couple months. It

It ended up being a couple of years. I know, but Crystal also was in the house with these with this married couple and their kids while the married couple is going through married couple shit. Like Latoya and Edwin, they've been together for over 10 years, married for a couple of years. They're arguing, they're bickering. Their disagreements are very hot, but very short. They'd make up soon afterwards. But like, damn, y'all unshook the house down.

I be doing that too sometimes. Just wishing I got a little fire. Shaking the house down. Then I'm good. But during this time, Crystal is helping with the kids. So she's making sure the girls got like the headphones on or whatever in the house, making sure that they don't hear it. But Crystal got to hear everything. And it just seemed like

To LaToya, everything that Edwin did agitated her. You don't listen to me no more. You don't love me no more. What are we even doing? At this time, LaToya's doing what she can to pitch in. She is a boy making a $5 footloans. She's 34 years old and she working with a young tenderoni, 26-year-old Allen Robertson. Now, LaToya ain't hiding it. She wearing her ring or whatnot. We can all see she married.

There's something enticing about things that you can't have. And Alan was enticed. And Latoya, she'd be frustrated.

She kind of carried her home life problems to work. And maybe you just want to talk it out and vent to your coworkers. You got your work friends, and then work friends kind of turn into real friends or some other type of friend, right? But he's just there. He's giving a listening ear. Y'all understand how that can be frustrating? If you was mine, I'd never do you like that. I would know how to treat a lady. He just don't say to a married woman.

He said that to you? He looked in your beautiful face and told you no? Baby, I'd never say no to you. I'd never. Don't you know if you asked me for the moon, I'd sit there with my lasso every night trying to get that shit. It's like one of the things in the world I wouldn't do for you. She is loving it. Like, yes. Is this what the young boys be on? Oh. Listen, they be on they Rico Swab J shit.

Telling them sweet nothings. That's what they are. Nothings. Sweet, sweet nothings. But of course, these sweet nothings led to a little something-something. And Latoya started having an affair. Now, the affair is going so hot and heavy. Y'all, Latoya pregnant again. And she about 99.99% sure that it's Allen's baby and not Edwin's. And the thing about it was...

I don't think she meant to lose that baby. Like, I think she was going to go full force with this pregnancy, but she did lose the baby. And no child did come of this pregnancy. But...

They were on a deeper level now. They were in love. She was almost the mother of his child. Like, you don't take that for granted. Of course, he didn't get to sit in it long, but it meant something to the both of them. And for her, it was like a real hard loss. I mean, not just for her. I'm sure anybody who's experienced a miscarriage, it's a hard loss, right? She's feeling like she failed as a woman, like she's not good enough. And Alan's like, no, no, no, baby.

Work husbands are not real. Work husbands are not real. And what's making matters worse is the arguments are continuing at home with Edwin.

And matter of fact, not only are they continuing, they're escalating. Money is always a problem. They damn near on site. Like every time you got something to say, I say, hey, he'd be like, the fuck is you looking at? And I was like, I was just making eye contact. Nah, you looking at me funny. I wasn't looking at you funny. You was looking at me some type of way. I literally just said, hey, like you can't do nothing. You know what I mean?

hey it's for horses and I ain't a horse I was a Haven teacher said that to me I never got it until I got older I was like oh you're wanting me to say hi they said hey it's for horses I don't know if this is Bill Cosby or my daddy honestly I feel like it's some Bill Cosby shit but every time he would say hey it's for horses I eat jello if you want to talk to me just say hello maybe he stole it that's why I was like I don't know

One night, the two of them are even getting over the dishes. Like, the damn dishes. And Edwin got so mad that he ends up kind of pushing and hitting Latoya. Latoya, she already on edge. Her mental probably a little fucked up from this miscarriage and everything.

Here she is with the love of her life at Subway, and she ain't... And she got to come home to this nigga like this how she feeling. So she gets fed up, and this nigga just lay hands on her. So what does she do? She goes, she gets a gun, and she burns it directly at Edwin and says, you are not going to touch me anymore. Now, the police end up getting called to the house, and Latoya says, Edwin hit me, he pushed me, and I pulled out a gun on him. And Edwin was arrested for it. Now...

Mind you, in the state of Florida, if you call, somebody has to get arrested in the state of Florida. Somebody has got to go. Now, remember, it's not just the kids in the house. They've got good old Crystal here, too. And Crystal's like, man, these niggas just be arguing all the time.

But she just be trying to help out. I'm just going to get the girls in bed, put their little headphones on. You don't want the children to be exposed to this type of stuff. I think it's good that the kids at Crystal, they're looking out for them. She's trying to make sure, like, they're not too affected by all the arguing that's going on in the house. But one day, April 13th, 2018, to be exact, Latoya gets off work and decides that she's going to head over to Allen's house

to decompress however she may choose to do so she does not stay long but she does ask crystal can she go pick up her kids from school and crystal's like yeah girl i guess so she goes and picks up the girls at 5 30 crystal then gets home and gets the girls settled for the evening make sure got the food or whatever they need crystal's really a big helper on the house sounds like

Now, Latoya gets there and Crystal's like, cool, glad you're here. I need to run over to Walmart. The story goes that Crystal leaves for Raleigh World around 730. Now, on her way out, she can once again hear Latoya and Edwin going at it. They on they shit like they always do. Now, at some point, Edwin leaves to go get some McDonald's.

Crystal comes in from Walmart and she takes the bags to her room. She sits them down. Now, she already, of course, knows Latoya's home. The girls, Crystal don't already put them to bed. She put the headphones on so that mommy and daddy don't wake them up. And then Edwin walks into the house with his McDonald's and he is ambushed by Latoya.

Of course, they're arguments on site every single time. So once it started, it was started. They arguing, shit's escalating, Latoya's over it. So what does she do? She goes into the kitchen and she gets a cheese knife. Now, for those who don't know, cheese knives, they're long, they're rigid with two prongs at the tip. This one specifically had two holes in the blade.

And while Edwin is still in the foyer, he ain't even had a chance to put down a McDonald's yet. Goes and she starts stabbing him and stabbing him and slashing him and stabbing him over and over and over again. She stabbed Edwin a total of 34 times. She cut his tongue out of

of his mouth. His esophagus slashed. He had cuts and gashes all over his body, skin like lifting up off of him. It was horrible.

And Crystal, she upstairs unpacking her Walmart shit. She at her bed taking her stuff. Next thing she knows, Latoya is like, Crystal, Crystal, come here. Help. Call 911. It's Edwin. The timeline is tricky here because the story has never been like officially corroborated. Like, this is exactly how it happens. Like,

The issue that specifically, this is what Mariah brought up to me and gives her a funny feeling in her tummy. Thank you. They don't mention an extra entrance to the house. So this is a horrible, horrible, bloody scene. He's been stabbed 34 times. You don't stab somebody 42 times just real quick. And I doubt it's very quiet either, right? Was Edwin dead when Crystal walked in the house returning from her trip from Walmart? No.

Or was he killed while she was in the house? Was she present at the time of his death? And it's kind of unclear because my mans ain't make it past the foyer. So unless you came in another way where you could bypass the foyer, how you ain't see it? And there might be a garage is what I hear. Maybe their layouts are different than the layouts that I'm just streaming up in my head. I mean, it's possible, especially if they have like a back staircase, which I'm learning that I love.

Right. And she clearly didn't have like an extra wing. She was like her room's next to the girls. Crystal's being called down. We don't we we we cannot say for certain if she was there at the time or not. But she is called down to a bloody, bloody site. And when she gets downstairs, Latoya is crying. She's hyperventilating. Crystal calls 911 and she says, my roommate was stabbed.

I think somebody might have broken in or something. He's not moving. I'm sorry. His wife is just flipping out right now. Like she really is. She doesn't know what she's seeing. She can see this man's bones. She then gives the phone to Latoya. Latoya is on the phone with 911 operators and she's hyperventilating and they're having a hard time hearing what she's saying. She's like, please just get somebody. It's my husband. And so EMS, they arrive at 1030 p.m.

to their house on the 1200 block of Howland Boulevard. And when they pull up, Crystal and LaToya, they're outside. LaToya is like sitting on the curb in a fetal position. Crystal's pacing back and forth. Deputy Sarah Jackson and Sean McGuire are the first responders onto the scene. And Deputy Jackson, she's like, there was blood everywhere. I mean, on the walls, on the floor. You could clearly see that there was a real struggle that happened here.

And when they got to the scene, Latoya was like, my kids are still inside. And they're like, okay, there's kids still in the home. So they go, they find the kids. These kids are asleep with their headphones on. I guess Auntie Crystal put their headphones on because their mom was arguing already with their daddy. And the kids are woken up by police, which is terrifying. Don't you think that would be terrifying? I don't want to be woken up by the police today. Right. You could have woken the babies up.

After the kids were woken up, they were taken away by a child protective team to be interviewed later. Now, like they said, when they saw Edwin, it was very simple to pronounce him dead as soon as they got there. And the police, they started talking to all the adults that were left at the house, which was Latoya and Crystal. Both of them were freaking out and they were like, okay, we need to get y'all to the hospital. We do need y'all for questioning, but let's just make sure that you all are safe.

are actually okay. So both of them had to go through the motions. Now, during this time, of course, the police made sure that they didn't see each other at the hospital. They didn't see each other before or after the interview. They weren't on each other's time schedule, but they did both get checked by the hospital. They got checked out of the hospital and they were awaiting their questioning. Now, while they were there getting checked out at the hospital,

Edwin's mom pulls up at the house because somebody needs to come up here and get these kids. And they take the children in for interview. Now, both of the girls, they were like, we didn't hear anything. We went to bed like normal.

And when we woke up, it was the police here. The homicide squad comes and looks at Edwin's body and they see him lying dead in the hallway. Now, he didn't really make it past the foyer. They say that he was between the kitchen and the living room. And near his body, they found French fries from the bag of McDonald's that he had, the food, the receipt. And they were checking out the scene and they noticed that underneath his body was this like Rastafarian hat and

And they were like, okay, who does this belong to? Does Edwin have ties to Jamaica? Oh, do we... Does it belong to somebody that maybe could have been the intruder, the person that ambushed and made this scene happen? And so...

The police look through the house and they're like, it doesn't look like forced entry. Nothing has been taken from the house. So it couldn't have been a robbery. And they're like, what could the murder weapon have been? We don't see bullets. So we know that it's not a gun, but we're not really sure what the murder weapon could be. Let's look around and see what we can find. They go into the kitchen. They see a knife that's in the sink. It's a cheese knife. It's cleaned. And they're like, okay, let's pick this up. They see a couple other knives around the kitchen. Okay, let's pick these up.

And they take him in for evidence. They're all clean, but you just, you can never be too sure, right? Never. And the police continue to process the scene in order to find their killer. They transfer Latoya to the department. She gets there and they interview her. They interview her before they interview Crystal. They start by checking her body for physical evidence. They notice a cut, like, or a scrape on the outside of her left knee. And she was like, oh, I was sitting on the ground.

And it was like, OK. And then they're like, hmm, look at these clothes that you have on. Got a little spatter there. Could be. Let's go ahead and take those off of you. Give me those shorts. Give me all that. All that's evidence. She was wearing a blue Key West Florida tourist T-shirt, some black basketball shorts and some blue fuzzy socks. Police backed and tagged all of it. They was like, you can get in these scrubs. You can sit down while we talk to you.

And she's like, I mean, like, normal stuff. We fight. And it was like, okay. She was like, we argue, but the next day we love each other.

The love is deep. They got video of the interview. And he says, are you currently seeing anybody else? And she scratches her face and she says no. I said, oh, she lying. And they didn't even introduce this nigga yet. It was such a clear lie. It was so, they hadn't even introduced that there was a lover in the picture. And she said, how y'all get there so fast?

I said, oh, she lying. Lying like hell. She wasn't fooling nobody. And I know if I could see it over here from the TV screen, from the corner angles, oh, they was knowing. They knew that you lied as soon as that lie left your mouth. Yep. They're like, okay, tell us how the day went. She was like, I had a normal day at work, and then I was tired, and my best friend said she would pick the girls up for school to me. So I went home. I went to bed. She took a little nap. Then she says...

that she was texting Edwin, like, hey, honey, when you going to get off of work? And they're exchanging that or whatever. She says she goes upstairs and she's waiting in her bed for Edwin to come home. She falls asleep. I guess this is part two of the nap or the original nap. But then she says she hears a loud bang.

And part of her starts to say, should I investigate? And the other side says, mm-mm, they sleep too good. He'll come up here when he ready. So she lays back down, according to her story. It's been a while. She drift off. She back up. And she was like, damn, Edwin still ain't made it to the room. So she goes downstairs. She walks around the corner. And there is Edwin there on the floor covered in blood. Blood everywhere. I'm telling you. I mean, it is a scene. It really is.

And she says, I just tried to hold him, and I didn't know if he was breathing. I was just trying to hold him. And they said, did Edwin ever say anything to you? And she says, I don't know. Now she's crying. She's like, at this point, I'm just screaming, yelling, Crystal, Crystal, please come help. Call 911. Like I said, we argued, but I love this man. And here he was. The man was slaughtered.

on the scene if you didn't do it what a sight to see your husband in your foyer at your like blood up and down the walls you know what i mean his tongue cut skin just peeling off it is a scene she's just like and that's what happened i i didn't know what happened it's part of me wish i would have woke up when i heard that bang and maybe everyone would have still been with us here today

So they was like, all right, we got enough from you. Let's go see what Crystal has to say. The detectives are like, okay, Latoya's saying that she picked up the kids. She says, I did. And they was like, okay, when that happened, she says around 530. So Crystal, she's sticking with her story. Once she got home around 7, she went to Walmart. It's not a long trip to Walmart. She goes, she comes back. She says, I go upstairs, take my stuff to my bedroom.

And then when I was coming back down, she was like, call 911. And I'm like, what's going on? Now Crystal continues to tell them that Latoya is barely answering any of her questions. She's saying what's going on. And all Latoya is saying is, oh my God, oh my God, oh my God, he's bleeding, he's bleeding. And I'm like, who's bleeding? Then Crystal says, then I see the blood on the floor. And I backed up. I said, whoa. Now the detectives, they sit with this. They got two stories and they're not very consistent.

The only consistent thing is really that Crystal picked the girls up. So then they start to ask her. So then they try and, like, dig into it. Was there an argument going on this night? Because Latoya said they argue. They love each other, but they argue. So was there an argument this night? And Crystal was shining a down pat, like, no, no, they wasn't arguing. I don't really even think Edwin was home at the time of the argument. Like, he wasn't home when I got home with the girls, right?

So the cops are like, hold on, hold on. Before you get too deep into this lie, I want you to listen to this. They play a 911 recording and it's Crystal talking to 911, talking about, oh, they was arguing. The next thing I know, he's dead. They was arguing before I left. I just got back and I just found him like this. So which is it? Was Edwin not home?

Or was maybe they did find a way to whisper to each other at the hospital. Listen, it was like, was Edwin not home or were they arguing before you left the house? Because on the 911 call, when you had no reason to lie, they were arguing at the house. So what story do you want to tell us right now?

And she was like, okay, I mean, they were arguing before I left. But she was like, I mean, but like, it's just what they do. But what this confirms for detectives is one, Edwin was home when she left. And two, Latoya wasn't asleep.

Because what, you sleep arguing now? That's what we doing? So they played a 911 call for her and the 911 dispatcher is like, walk me through what happened. She says, I heard a whole bunch of shouting and everything like that. And the 911 operator, she's trying to get clarification. Like, what do you mean shouting? She says, okay, so you said you heard a commotion.

And Crystal's like, no, I thought I heard something. And then I left and went to Walmart. And then when I came back, I think even still here, like in the 911 call, she's trying to walk it back a little bit. Like, I don't want to implicate her for like arguing. So like now we went to from there was some shouting to now I thought I heard something. Right. Maybe this is when she's signaling her. Maybe Latoya is sitting there like, girl, not too much. Not too much. Okay.

And so, of course, with them playing this back, she hear herself saying she hear arguing. And so the detective was like, so run this back. So you heard arguing when you left. And she was like, I mean, it was it was like a little bit. I don't know. She said, I just didn't want to be around it, which I I very much feel that that's the sentiment, especially if this is something that they do. Like, it's more so like, here they go again. I'm gonna go out to Walmart. I'm gonna make sure the kids straight or whatever, whatever.

But it's also making detectives like, girl, are you trying to cover up for yourself or for Latoya or for what? Because why lie? If you ain't had nothing to do with it, why lie? After she returns, the story is she went upstairs, she puts up her groceries, and then that's when she hears the call to 911, 911. So now with Crystal saying definitively they argued, they go back to Latoya. It was like, yeah, Crystal said y'all was arguing. She said she's a liar.

She's lying. Crystal is lying. She's a liar. Liar. Call her a rug because all she do is lie. So at this point, the cops was like, I mean, I think we done for all our questions now, but stay close. We're going to check out these stories. But are you free to go at the time? Right. That's all they could do because they didn't have any concrete evidence. All they got is a story and a suspicious story, but just a story.

Just a funny feeling is not enough to put the claws on people. But they're still investigating, and Edwin's body is autopsied on April 16th. The autopsy shows what was already very easily seen, that this was a very brutal, very horrific attack. He was stabbed 34 times.

I'm telling you, you could see bone. You could see his skin falling off of him. There was a depression in his skull that was very serious. And his carotid artery had been completely slashed. Because of how serious his injuries were, the detectives believed that this couldn't have been just anybody. It had to have been someone that knew him personally. It had to have been somebody that had a personal vendetta against him. It had to have been a crime of passion.

They're like, okay, now we need to look into friends, families, lovers who would want to hurt him. And while the detectives are still working, forensics is starting to get back with some answers to some questions. Turns out that t-shirt that she was wearing, yeah, the blood on that t-shirt, it was Edwin's. But...

Still, that's not enough to arrest anybody. That was my husband and I found him dead. Maybe I touched him. It wasn't like the shirt was soaking in blood. So then they go and they're like, all right, let's look into Crystal. Her story was a little shaky. Let's see if she's telling the truth. She said she was at Wally World. Wally World got cameras. They checked them and Crystal absolutely was there buying her groceries, her personal items, her things. Nothing for a murder. There was a receipt.

She was clearly in and out. She was telling the truth. And the police are like, the way that this happened, I'm really starting to think that it happened between... And this is when police get that theory that the murder had to have happened while Crystal was at Walmart. Which makes me think that there had to have been another way for Crystal to get into the house. And they roll Crystal out as a suspect immediately.

Now, they're still asking anyone and everyone if they know anything at all. And that's when Latoya's friends, I guess they're not her friends for real, but they started talking to the police. And they were like, you know, Latoya got a little boyfriend. And the police were like, she got a little boyfriend. Latoya's friends were like, mm-hmm, she got a little boyfriend, a little young thing. He worked down at the subway, eat fresh. He be making sandwiches or whatever. And...

They were like, okay, do you know anything about this hat? They showed him the little Rastafarian hat. And they were like, I know exactly what that hat is.

Alan, her boyfriend, got that for her as a little gift. That's her hat. And they were like, okay, Alan that works at Subway Eat Fresh, let's go find him. They pull up to the Subway Eat Fresh. Alan's not there. However, the manager is there and they are like, what can you tell us about Alan? They're like, Alan works here. That is true. What about around this day? They were like, you know what? Alan did have a rough day that day. He was freaking out. He broke down at work.

He had a meltdown. I don't know, but it was a weird day for Allen. And they're like, okay, Allen was acting suspicious at work. Great. Let's go find Allen. They go to find Allen. Allen said, you want to talk to me? All right. Y'all gonna have to buy me something to eat first. Yo, Allen. And they said, sure, sure, sure. We'll buy you something to eat. And then he finishes his plate and he says, all right, check this out. I'm not going to talk without a lawyer. Yeah.

Thank you for the food, though. I'm 100% doing that. At this point, the investigation is not producing any new leads, any evidence or whatever. They got two main suspects, Latoya and Allen, and neither one of them are saying much of anything, right? They don't have a real reason to arrest either of them. So, Detective Peter Bethea starts to...

go back over the evidence when you're stuck you gotta start from the beginning and work your way back through make sure you ain't miss nothing so he goes and he looks at the clothes that edwin's wearing the night of his murder and he notices a circular pattern that matches the cheese knife that was found in the sink and this knife has a couple of prongs on it prongs kind of match the wounds that's on edwin's body oddly enough the circular pattern just so happens to match the cut on latoya's knee

Detective Bethea, he's like, let me get in touch with a blood spatter expert. And let's look at Latoya's clothing a little more closely. The blood spatter expert, he goes and he examines the shirt. And he was like, I mean, according to the blood spatter on this shirt, she would have had to been in the vicinity of the crime when it occurred because of how the blood is on Edwin's clothes and clothes.

how it was found on her clothes. And it was like, okay, present at the time of the crime. I tell you what, that sure doesn't fit sleep at the time of the crime. Tell you that much. Then they start going through Latoya's phone records and they see that her and Alan are talking a lot. And I mean a lot, specifically a lot on the day of the murder. The records are showing that after shift, sis didn't go straight home because she was so tired. Like she told the cops that,

She was at Allen's house. So the murder happened on April 13th. From April 1st to April 14th, Latoya and Allen contacted each other 91 times and text each other several times a day. Now, could this just be them in love or was this a lot more conversation than usual? Now, I mean, it could all have been because niggas, when they in love, they be caked up just sitting on the phone. What you doing? Nothing. What you doing? Okay. Okay.

Niggas fall asleep and, you know, all of that. Oh, call drop. I ain't saying nothing. You ain't saying nothing, but still want to be on the phone with you. After skimming through these text messages on the phone, one of them that stood out to detectives was the text that she miscarried and she's feeling like a failure as a woman. So detectives are like, okay, fine.

girl, you just got pregnant. You were telling this man that you was pregnant with his baby. And the conversation is not going, I'm a married woman. I got to get rid of this baby. This can't happen. Or you can't be known as the father. The conversation is going, I feel like a failure as a woman. Meaning you were ready to have his baby. Looks like, right? So cops are like,

For her to lie and say that there's no relationship and there's actually a pretty serious relationship, like, this ain't a fling, this ain't a fuck buddy, this your man. Cops are reaching out to Alan, trying to do what they can to wrap this case up. And Alan is not trying to talk. Who? Me? You want to talk to me? Can't talk to you. And it was kind of a line to tell, like, a nigga has a right to plead the 5th.

And so it's very possible that what he might say to the police may implicate him to the murder. And so they subpoenaed Allen for him to speak to the police in September of 2018. Now, in order to get the subpoena, make sure that he's truthful, they offered him immunity to testify against Latoya because at the end of the day,

She's at least the brains behind it. She was present when it happened. That's what they do have information on. So they're like, Edwin, don't know what your part in it. Don't know if you asked her to do it or what. But she's entitled to the insurance money. She looks like the big fish, the big kahunas. You help us get her. We'll leave you out of it. Just tell us exactly what happened. Y'all, he want to talk to these detectives. So detectives said...

All right, so let's try and go back to April if you can remember what you had going on in your life back then. I would say I really can't recall that far back. They said, I mean, it's only, what, five months, six months? I would say that's a long time to me. It's the way they got this nigga in the episode, though. And he hitting the strugs, like, his hand in his fist, and he hitting the strugs like the mmm, mmm. It's so funny. It's so funny. So funny. He said, I can barely remember what I had to eat for lunch yesterday.

So then they're like, all right, tell me about this. They talking about the relationship with Latoya. They said, what is it? When did it begin? Alan's like, she was a friend with benefits. That was off and on. Ain't nothing serious. They said, I mean, we got all of the text messages that tell a very different story. Like, she was about to have your baby. They, like, slide it over so he could see. And he says, the detective's like, y'all had a lot of communication. Y'all still have a lot of communication.

Latoya never talk to you about her husband's death? Allen said, not that I can recall. So you trying to tell me this lady that you been fucking your manager at your job whose baby you was about to have if it wasn't for these unfortunate events? She ain't tell you that her husband was murdered brutally? If she did, I don't remember it, which is the funniest part to me because if she did, nigga, you'd remember it. Right. Right.

So you hitting these niggas with a not that I can recall is sending me. Just playing dumb. Just play dumb. So the cops say, so we have a lady who you're in a relationship with. Husband is murdered. And she never once tells you that he was murdered? Alan says, I'm having a hard time remembering. Okay. Okay. All right. All righty. Cool, cool, cool, cool, cool. I tell you, they all wasted their time with this damn subpoena. So the police, they say, Alan, where were you?

At the time of the murder. And he says, I was with my mother and sister-in-law. They said, so you went to work, you went home, and you believe you stayed home the rest of the night, right? He says, I did, yeah. This is the most assured answer he gave. I did. That one I know for sure. Home the rest of the night. The cops said, that was a big fucking waste of time. That nigga gave us nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing.

They did run his location for the night of the murder and his cell phone records do show that he was at home. So, alibi confirmed. The only thing that they really got from Alan's interview was the fact that Alan and Latoya were in a relationship and somebody is protecting somebody here. So they were like, all right, I feel like we can now get away with actually having

arresting Latoya. And they're like, another reason is because

She sure did try to get that life insurance policy out really quickly. And it's $100,000. She sure did try to claim that very quickly, which let's be real. I always wrestle with what is the proper amount of time before you try to claim a life insurance policy? Because if you are brutally murdered and now the house has to be professionally cleaned, that's very expensive. And we're going to need help paying for that.

And that's part of what your insurance is for. And then y'all are already having money troubles. Like, they're arguing over money. So if y'all was broke and struggling for money, that's what they said. The most of the arguments came back to money and finances. So if y'all were struggling... rocketmoney.com slash sisters. Giggling with finance is so bad that it's a point of contention between you and your partner all the time, all day, every day. Now you're supposed to shuck out how much money to get him buried. And I mean, he was chopped up. Like, he didn't look great. So they're gonna have to do some work with him. But funerals are expensive. You have to pay for the cassette. You gotta buy a lot of land and all that stuff. Like,

If money wasn't readily available before, where is it about to come from now? Because now on top of that, I no longer have his income coming in. I've got my subway income versus his technology income. And we have a whole house. A whole house. Kids, multiple families.

Right. So that's always the question, but they were also pretty convinced that maybe this is the reason why she wanted him dead. His funeral was held on April 21st, 2018 in Daytona Beach. Edwin's brother, Tony said, God will strengthen us and take us through these dark hours. And everyone in his family agrees that holidays and birthdays will just never be the same without Edwin. Now,

The thing about Latoya and Alan working at the same place is that the rumors about you being accused of murder is going to run rampant in your workplace very, very quickly. And that happened to Latoya. And she lost her job. She lost her job at Subway Eat Fresh. That's crazy. That's because I say that's crazy because what if she actually didn't do it?

Now she out of work because Subway heard on the news that she was accused of murder. Like, what? Now I need a lawyer, so I need to be working. But then she couldn't find a job for a while, but then she started working at an assistant living facility. They always need help. I'd rather you work at Subway Eat Fresh. Latoya and Edwin...

They were all defendants in a suit against of the Prudential Insurance Company of America, I guess, fighting about the insurance money. I'm not really sure what came of that, but everybody was worried about this money. Latoya was officially arrested in November, November 15th, 2018, seven months after Edwin's murder. She was at her mama house, her mama's apartment in Port Orange, Florida. And they said, ma'am, turn around.

You got the right to remain silent. You're charged with second degree murder. When she stood in front of the judge, her public defender, John Seldon, was like, listen, judge, I know this is a serious crime, but I think that bail is proper while we're waiting to go to trial. She hasn't gotten into any trouble in the seven months between the alleged crime and now. And she has mouths to feed.

The state was like, absolutely not. Let's set the bill at $300,000. We don't want her release. Edwin's mom, Edwin's sister Claudette, they showed up at the hearings. Let me tell you something. Edwin's family came to everything. If I don't mention it, know that from here on out, they were present. Okay, cool. When I tell you they showed up, they showed up. And they showed up saying that you shouldn't release her on bond at all.

Edwin's mom was like, if she's out, I fear for my life. What if she tries to come and get us? This is a dangerous person.

And I guess my question is, why would she come and get y'all? They probably thought she was a real gangster because they're going to be witnesses at the trial. I guess they said at the very least, she's a killer. And you kill once, you'll kill again. And they were like, listen, she killed while there were two children in the home. And I'm a witness. Her own children that she's supposed to love and care about and protect. Right. And then they were like, judge, by the way, Alan...

Her lover boy, they've been chit-chatting the whole time that she's been in jail. She has had full contact with him. That's her man again.

Again, it ain't never stopped being her man. You're right. I thought of when I said it. They've never slowed down. The judge thinks about it and he says, you know what? I'm going to be in favor of the defendant. And her bail was set at $50,000. And the reason that the judge set the bail at $50,000 was because it took seven months to arrest her. She hadn't gotten into any legal trouble. And she did have a family to try and take care of. So now...

She's out on bail. She's working too. And she gets ready to... She has pre-trial on January 15th of 2019. Has actual trial. Trial begins February 4th.

9 a.m. The prosecution, they get up here and they're just going to straight up say, LaToya killed Edwin in order to be with Alan and she needed to collect on Edwin's life insurance money. She's already cashed it in. She did it fairly quickly. And we're going to lay it out for you why we're pointing the finger at her. They mentioned how LaToya has been talking to Alan the entire time that she's awaiting trial. And they had 19, over 19 witnesses testify against

There's like all the pictures, the bloody gory scene, the jury seeing it. The mama, she had to step outside because it was too much for her to take. Like they laid it out for him. Now Latoya's defense gets up here and they said that Allen is the one who killed Edwin. And when they do this, I really be wondering because you're still in contact with this man this entire time. Did you run it by him that you was going to implicate him in a murder to save yourself?

Like, was it a plan where they was like, I mean, can't be me. So, I mean, blame it on me. Ain't not going to happen to me. Or was it like a betrayal? You know what I mean? But they're like, yeah, Alan wanted to be with Latoya. Alan killed Edwin. Now, this was not a good foundation to stand on because remember, Alan has an alibi. Alan was at home with his mom and sister. Furthermore,

Like we said, you have been in contact with this man up until today. Like the whole time you're awaiting trial, you have been in contact. Like y'all have not slowed up. You want to come on here on this stand today and say it was probably Alan who did it, but you're still talking to this man? You're still talking to the man that you believe killed your husband or that you want us to believe killed your husband?

We're not buying it. The family is there throughout the whole trial, of course. Edwin's family is there. Sisters say, like, the crime scene, the pictures, sickening to even see him like that. And, of course, nobody wants to remember their loved one like that, but they also have to fight for him.

For his justice. So like they have to be present. They have to go through these things. February 7th of 2019. The trial is only lasting like three days. But the jury goes for deliberation. And they come back and they find Latoya guilty of second degree murder. It took them less than two hours to do it. They were pretty fucking sure about it. I think we're all pretty fucking sure about it. And Edwin's family said that they were thankful that justice was served on behalf of their loved one.

Now, sentencing did not take place until July 17th, 2020. And it was delayed because of COVID. Now, when sentencing finally— It still feels like a long delay because COVID didn't start until 2020. It feels like a—

It felt like a long delay. Sometimes you don't have sentencing for a while. Yeah, I mean, I guess. It's legit a whole year later. But minor outbreaks were happening in November-ish of 2019. They just didn't put a name on it until like December, January. And I'm sure that the jails probably had way more outbreaks than what was being told before even the mainstream outbreak in March. That's just me.

I feel like, I don't know, was it even in America for real, for real? It was. It was for sure. In 2019? Mm-hmm. Starting in November of 2019. Sometimes sentencing doesn't take place for months after, so it could have happened. I'm just saying, it's still, the time that they took to get there, even without it, like, to push it to November, like, maybe June. Huge jump. And...

Edwin's family was in person during this. The judge kind of wore his mask when he wanted to, didn't wear his mask when he didn't want to. He said that the mask fogged up his glasses. Oh, the struggle. White people in Florida. And Latoya's family, they were somewhere in person, and most of them were via Zoom. And what's really funny is because I was able to read the sentencing word for word, and the first, like, three pages of the sentencing document is...

Is everybody trying to figure out how to work Zoom? No one... Because this is... It's still, like, Zoom is just starting to become a thing. And no one can figure out the microphones in Zoom. And it's not even just starting to become a thing. But, like, it had to become... It was a work thing. Like, oh, you know how to use Zoom. And now it's, like, a commonplace thing. Everywhere you go, everything's turning into Zoom. Yeah. And there was a time where just no one... We were all trying to figure out how to use Zoom at the same time. So, anyways...

Everybody's trying to figure out how to use Zoom, and the judge starts the sentencing hearing by saying, I know this is horribly emotional and incredibly sad. I got it. I'm empathetic to both sides, but please conduct yourselves accordingly. If somebody starts to act up or get out of hand, the bailiffs will, in fact, remove you from the courtrooms. I'm not in charge of security, so don't look at me to help you. I never second-guess what they do, and so just please.

Please conduct yourself appropriately. And then the court also tells us the difference between what we're working with. A first degree felony is punishable by life. Normally, a first degree felony is 30 years. But she has a second degree felony that was committed by a weapon. So because it's second degree and she used a weapon, it gets bumped up a degree. So it goes to...

a life felony. He's like, all right, does everybody agree that her max sentence can be life? And everybody's like, yes, we agree. And they're like, okay, great. Victim impact statements, let's get them on the way. The first person to come up is Claudette. Now, Claudette, remember, that's Edwin's youngest sister. And she said, Edwin was brutal behind three kids, two kids at home while he died on the floor of his own home to die the day after his child's birthday. And for her to be

A sister-in-law to be a family member. Our family is destroyed. We don't talk to each other. We don't see the kids anymore because of this. We didn't do anything wrong. And we're being punished by not seeing the kids because of what she did. And they ask questions. They're like, okay, when's the last time you saw the kids? And they're like, we haven't seen the kids at all. She's upset. Now, Latoya's mama comes up and clarifies this later. So she's like, actually...

you guys have all seen the kids. They saw the kids pretty much as much as they wanted up until the actual guilty verdict. And then after the guilty verdict, it was like COVID broke out. Could nobody go nowhere. So of course you haven't seen the kids. Next to speak was his oldest brother, Tony. And Tony talked about how he moved back to Florida just a year ago because he wanted to be closer to his brother. And he's like, and now I moved back and there's nothing there. I was the officiant at their wedding. And this is heartbreaking, right?

I went to the father-daughter dance with my niece, and her dad should have been there. Now and forever, she's never going to have her dad for those father-daughter dances. His oldest son, Jordan, testified, and he was 16 when the crime took place. So he's 18 now. And he talked about how much he loved his dad, how his dad was everything to him, and how he is so hurt and forever changed by the crime that took place.

Latoya, she also had some family members here testifying on her behalf. Her eldest brother, Trevor Reeves, was in D.C. at the time, but he testified via Zoom. Her mom, her mom got up there and she said, now, before y'all go point fingers about this custody thing, the visitation doors are open.

She asked the family court to have their pastor help with visitation because Claudette, one of the sisters, was acting a little funny about it. So she was like, I'm going to clear that right now because you ain't going to make it seem like I kept my grandbabies away from a piece of their family. They've lost enough. Latoya's 11-year-old daughter, who was referred to as M, she got up and she said a few words. The judge started off by asking her if she understood the importance of telling the truth. And she responded, yes, she did.

She spoke on her mom and said that her mom was an awesome mother. She was very artistic and she loved to have fun. She talked about how much she loved her dad and how her brothers, who are solely her mom's kids, like dad's stepkids, but mom's biological. She talked about how her brothers have really helped her through this time. She said that her grandmother's always praying for her and

And she says, quote, I don't I didn't personally understand personally God's way at first, but I was a bit confused by it all. And I didn't know what to believe. But my grandmother kept praying for us, for me. She kept talking to me about the Bible. I can't say that I always believe, but I'm learning, which is probably like a lot to take in for an 11 year old. Like, how do you tell me there is a God and my dad is killed and my mom's going to jail for the rest of her life? You know what I mean?

What did I, at 11 years old, do to deserve this? But it ain't always about what you deserve. That's a different lesson. She asked the court for mercy because she and her siblings need their mom in this time. Like, we've experienced a huge loss. Please don't make this one any bigger than it needs to be. The assistant state attorney reminded the judge of the brutality of the crime, meaning let's not forget that there were 34 stab wounds.

There were clear defensive wounds. There was a depressed skull fracture. Bones were exposed. This was, that was like, I want y'all to remember how gruesome this was. She also gets up there and says, let's not forget also that Latoya got a side piece, Mr. Allen. She was visiting him before the crime. She was visiting him after the crime. She took out a hefty, hefty life insurance policy. And I'm going to tell y'all to take that in consideration and give this woman life.

The defense goes and reminds the court that she did not flee the scene. She stayed there for the cops. She was crying hysterically on the side of the road. She obviously didn't voluntarily attack this man. Like, she clearly had a lapse in judgment. And please be lenient with her because we're all hurting. With all the charges faced against her, she faced a minimum of 246 months, which totals out to 20 and a half years. And the maximum she faced was life.

The judge was the last person to speak, and he said,

And since the primary purpose of sentencing is to punish the offender, in my opinion, the ultimate crime deserves the ultimate punishment. I'm going to adjudicate her guilty. Sentence her to life in prison. And when this happened, everybody started acting up in the court. He said, everybody, hold

it down or you're going to get kicked out quickly. Life in prison with a high credit of 279 days in the county jail. She does, by state law, get the opportunity to appeal and the judge basically like hook her up with her court opponent attorney so that she can work on her appeal. Everybody, you are dismissed. Afterwards, Edwin's family said that they were pleased with the verdict, although they said they would rather have

Edwin here. But they are satisfied with knowing that the killer will spend the rest of her days behind bars. Now, she did file her appeal in 2021 and her appeal was denied. And she is currently housed at the Homestead Correctional Institute for Women. And that is the story of LaToya Woodard. All right, y'all, it's time for... Well, I'm not Black. I'm OJ.

I didn't do it, but if I did, this is how I would have got away with it. I didn't do it, but if I did, if I planned on killing my man that night, I would have took the kids to grandma's. But I guess she wasn't planning it. That's why she never got first degree, huh? Right. And that's why she never got first degree. They probably would have put planning it against her. Mm-hmm. That'd be all they need. Oh, but your kids were out the house.

No one found it weird that the kids were asleep with headphones, but apparently that was a thing because they argued all the fucking time. I didn't do it, but if I did, I don't think I would have made it so gruesome. Like, everybody knows the more stab rooms, the closer the connection, because now it's a crime of passion. And who are they looking at first for a crime of passion? The spouse. She should have, like, did a quick pew-pew to the heart and just, like... Yeah. Yeah.

Exactly. Hmm. Because also, if she got the knife, we already know that she owns a gun. Or there's a gun in the house. I ain't do it, but if I did, if you know you sneaking around like that, baby, you or your man need a burner phone. Y'all need a fake phone. Y'all need to go. What's that, baby? Get her up in. Something that does not put y'all together. If you gonna sneak, sneak. What's that said? They'll never share. I didn't do it, but if I did, I don't even know that I would have, like...

I think maybe she should have chose a different day. Like, it's already kind of, she has Crystal picking up the kids. But if she could have got it, like, then I guess her kids would have walked into it. I don't know. But what Crystal testified to about them arguing right before kind of led to it. And it's like, girl, if you're going to go through with it, go through with it in silence. Be like, I thought things was good. I already hate this nigga.

Just play nice until the deed is done. You're going to be arguing in front of witnesses right before you kill him? Yeah. And she got to be a better liar. If you can't lie, tell half-truths. Like, you got to tell as much of the truth as you can without being incriminating. And so, like, when they asked if she was seeing somebody else, she should have been like, I'm not proud of it. But, yeah, I've been fucking around with the little nigga at Subway. Because every lie makes you more suspicious. Yeah.

It's Subway Eat Fresh. And your man worked at Verizon. He had a good job. They kept saying he worked in technology and then it'd be like at Verizon. And I'm like, I'm going to need you to name a role because are you working at sales in Verizon and saying I'm in the technology field? Or like, are you working at corporate Verizon? It was very unclear. I'm just going to sum it up with that. I do have thoughts on this and I'll leave it at that. Anywho.

Y'all let us know. You work in sales. To say I work in tech. They give them iPads to check you out now. What'd you say? They give you iPads to check them out now. They stress the technology so heavy. This was a man in technology. Her husband was in technology. And so I'm just like, I just want to roll.

I just want to know what you did out of curiosity. I don't know, but sometimes working at the cell phone company, it's good money there. I'm not saying it's not, but like you said, it's sales, not tech. Some people that work there, they sell, but they also are in the back fixing phones and stuff. Maybe he works at... Typically, those are two different roles. You have your repair team and you have your sales team. Not all the time. Maybe not all the time, but typically. Sometimes they also work at the storefront.

And they're still going to be at the storefront. Some of them. I'm not saying that they're not. All I said was I would like to know the role. Please someone send me his HR paperwork. Thank you. I didn't do it, but if I did... The knife that was used to kill him was cleaned and in the sink. That is very, very lazy. If you cleaned the knife, why don't you put the knife back where it belongs? Why do you leave it in the sink? So somebody can say, ooh, a knife.

She ain't had no dish towel needed to dry or else it starts to rust and you can't use it anymore. And here's the thing, when they took a picture of it, the sink is empty. It's not like you had dirty dishes and it was just in there. The sink was empty. Somebody cleaned, probably Crystal, cleaned them dishes. You know what she should have did? She should have put out a charcuterie board and that would have explained to Cheese Knife.

That's doing too much already. You could have just put your things back where you found them. Clean up after yourself. Because see, then that lays the mindset. Oh, intruder came in. He must have seen the cheese knife next to my charcuterie board. You shouldn't have chosen a cheese knife. It's so distinct. It's so distinct.

I felt like that was very little blood for 34 stab wounds, a tongue, and an esophagus cut. Like, the way the house looked and the way her shirt looked was not given she did it. It wasn't. And then my first mind was that she did it. She changed clothes. Maybe he wasn't. Maybe it's still a bloody room. It wasn't like it was blood spatter on her shirt. It was...

It almost looked like fingers were grappling for the shirt. Like maybe she got her hand, she touched. And she did say she went down there and just held him, but like... I feel like she changed her clothes. Because I feel like Kaitlyn Morris, who stabbed him, what, one time?

or whatever, and was holding him until he died. Like, she said she just grabbed him. The whole place is... It's blood all over the walls, the floor, everything. And you've got a couple of spatters on your shirt. So, yeah, it's giving she changed her shirt, but also it's giving, like... But they said the spatter, she had to have been there during the time. So, like, would she change her shirt in the middle of it and come back and still watch it going? Or...

Like, was she just standing far back enough watching it happen and just got a little on her shirt? Was Alan really home? Or did Alan leave his phone at home, dip out, come back? Because that's how they based Alan. No one said they saw any cars flee the scene. All we know is that Alan was acting weird the next day. Man weird. I'm going to tell you, there's definitely some reasonable doubt here for me.

Maybe not enough to let her off. I'm feeling that she had something to do with it. She did sound pretty hysterical on the 911 call. No, girl. I don't know. I tell you what, though. But I don't think Ally would cut that nigga tongue out. Right. Maybe. What if?

Edwin was cheating too. And his mistress came and did all this shit. Like, you know how they have the ex-wives club and they plot against the men? What if they plotted together? And they tag-teamed him? Well, not even tag-teamed.

What if Latoya thought she would get off because she would have the mistress come do the work and nobody knows of the mistress? She's like, I'm just not going to tell nobody. And nobody knows of the mistress. And so her name's not even coming up. And maybe Latoya thought that there would be enough evidence to point away from her.

that it could just go unsolved. But then it ended up getting pinned on her. But if that's the case, she probably would have told, like, okay, girl, this is what happened. I would have started singing like a canary. She got to care about whoever did it. I don't care about no nigga that much. I'm going to let you know right now. I was like, the only person who would be worth doing that for is a kid. It couldn't be Allen from Subway Eat Fresh. Nor could it. Because they was still talking. You don't know what to say. Anywho, that's the end of our show.
