The family moved to Cedar Hills for a fresh start after a tragic incident involving the death of a family member. The mother wanted a better environment for her children, including good schools and opportunities for her twin sons in sports and band.
On the first night, the younger sister, Nita, saw a shadowy figure in their room. The figure approached their beds and looked out the window before disappearing. This terrified Nita, who woke her sister, Queda, in fear.
The family initially tried to stay together and protect each other. They moved the dresser to block the bedroom door and slept in their parents' room. However, the disturbances continued, leading the mother to believe someone had a key to the house.
The family described seeing a figure with no face. This detail deeply frightened them, as it suggested the presence was not human. They all ran out of the house and gathered outside, terrified.
The father claimed he heard his mother's voice, who had passed away in 1958, urging him to return home. He drove straight to Cedar Hill from his work trip, arriving just in time to find his family outside the house in fear.
After the terrifying experiences, the father decided to leave the house immediately. They packed up and went to stay with relatives in Ada, feeling that the house was haunted and unsafe for them.
The mother was superstitious and believed that talking about the events could bring the entity back. She remained strong and rarely showed emotions, but the fear she experienced deeply affected the family.
