The bed shaking was attributed to the spirit of a saint who had claimed the land as his own. The spirit became annoyed when the family built a shed on his resting place, causing disturbances.
Reena's daily prayers kept the spirit calm, preventing more severe disturbances. The Sadhu explained that her prayers had likely pleased the spirit and saved her family from harm.
The items, including wooden sandals and a tattered mat, belonged to a saint who used to pray on that land. The discovery confirmed the presence of a spiritual being who had been disturbed by the shed's construction.
The family built a shrine (Dargah) in the shed, honoring the saint's resting place. They placed the found items and prayer offerings there, which appeased the spirit and stopped the bed from shaking.
The bed shaking drew Reena and her sister's attention to the window, where they saw a shadow. This led to the discovery of thieves trying to climb into the house, allowing the family to stop them.
Reena's mother appeared to be choking, with her eyes and mouth open, and she wasn't breathing. This alarmed Reena and the family, leading to her immediate hospitalization.
The Sadhu sensed the presence of the spirit and identified the items belonging to the saint. He explained that the saint had been praying on that land and had claimed it as his own, even in his afterlife.
After building the shrine and honoring the saint's resting place, the bed stopped shaking, and Reena was able to sleep undisturbed.
Reena lives in Jammu, India. She prays every night before going to sleep. But one night her bed has other plans.
Thank you, Reena, for sharing your story to Spooked! We are so very glad that you can sleep through the night now.
