So we've been spending a lot of time on the Israel-Iran situation, and you have to imagine actually that what we're seeing now in America's largest city actually might be a little bit related. It might be a little bit of a political after effect to what we've seen between Israel and Iran. And it is potentially one of the most horrifying political issues that is happening in real time. Allow me to introduce you.
to Zoran Komwami Mamdani, a Muslim candidate who is literally a communist running to become the next mayor of New York City. The election is today. Well, at least the Democrat primary is. So the incumbent mayor is Eric Adams.
Eric Adams, who hasn't been a great mayor, but he hasn't been a terrible mayor. Remember, he was under indictment and then got dropped. He's running as an independent, so he's not participating in the Democrat primary. This guy is a whole different genre of politics than we have seen. He embodies the red-green axis with more tenacity and focus than anybody we have seen in quite some time. Mamdani...
is a communist who is also a Mohammedan. Now, as a Mohammedan, he has really kind of been given a free pass. No one has really been able to ask questions about it because they say, oh, you're an Islamophobe.
But let's just take a step back here. Imagine from the 35,000-foot view, if you are trying to continually have Muhammadism take over the West, wouldn't they love to have both London and New York, the two prior Anglo centers of financial markets and cultural influence, now under Muhammadin rule? We've been warning about the rise of Islam on the show to great extent.
amount of backlash. We don't care. That's what we do here. And we said that Islam is not compatible with Western civilization. Let me say it again. Islam is not compatible with Western civilization. And now you have Zoran, Kwame Mamdani is the leading candidate for the race. And this kind of happened the last couple of days. Cuomo was out polling him for the last couple of weeks. And you have to wonder, is this kind of an after effect of anti-Israel sentiment?
By the way, just so we're clear, the Kiwami part of his name is because his communist professor dad gave him that name in honor of Kiwami Nkrumah, a Marxist dictator in Ghana who completely ruined his country's economy and left it in poverty before getting overblown. This guy is the embodiment of the worst possible elements of American politics. You see, Mamdani...
He's not just your typical Democrat. He's not just like Letitia James. He's a whole level above that. He wants to nationalize or at least, let's say, make the grocery stores public. He literally wants to have grocery stores owned by the city government, a public co-ops, as we call it, because Mamdani wants to make bread lines great again.
Mamdani wants to bring back the idea that you get a little coupon and the coupon is what you get to eat. Everybody, this is not a drill. This is America's largest city. This is the biggest city in America. Now, Mamdani has largely been able to go under the surface. It's kind of been a subterranean threat. No one really took him seriously. And mind you, he uses the word Zoran as if he's trying to be some sort of like Aladdin figure. Yeah, I'm kind of like some Middle Eastern hero. No, no, no.
You don't mess with Zoran is what they say. No, no, no. Instead, Mamdani is like, well, that's a different type of name. This is literally a video of Mamdani saying that food costs too much and that we are going to have the government take over grocery stores.
Play cut 400.
These stores will operate without a profit motive or having to pay property taxes or rent and will pass on those savings to you. Understand the Mohammedans, they will not rest. We as Westerners, we take Islam as kind of a innocent threat. What if I told you that there is a Muslim mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, a Muslim mayor of the Rotterdam in Netherlands, major city.
A Muslim mayor in Calgary in Canada, Nahneed Mancini, or in Prospect Park, New Jersey, or in the Brussels region of Belgium. You see, Mohammedans, they only know how to conquer in politics. New York has a very large Muslim community with an estimated 750,000 Muslims living in the city as of 2018.
Hey, everybody. Charlie Kirk here. By the time this show ends, another family farm will be shut down. Not because they stopped working hard, but because the meat in your grocery store isn't coming from them anymore. It's coming from overseas, where safety standards are different and the quality is questionable. That's why I buy all of my meat at GoodRanchers.com. It doesn't just sell meat. They guide you back to the source, to American ranchers, to real quality, to food you can actually trust. Unlike imported meat, all Good Ranchers products are 100% borne, raised, and
and harvested in America from local family farms. Now more than ever, you need to switch to Good Ranchers because Good Ranchers is tariff-proof due to their 100% American supply chain. So while new tariffs make grocery store prices unpredictable, Good Ranchers stay consistent. And if you subscribe to any Good Ranchers box today, you get your pick of free meat for life. That's Wagyu burgers, hot dogs, bacon, or chicken wings in every box for the lifetime for your subscription. Use my exclusive code Kirk at checkout. You'll get an extra $40 off your first box.
Good ranchers.com American meat delivered. Here is Zoran Mamdani, who legitimately is a communist. That video you just saw is about confiscating the private property of grocery stores. Oh, the government's going to take away, take over the grocery stores. He's vowed to take police away from high crime areas and send social workers instead. Yeah. The gangbangers up in the Bronx, that's what they want. They want a social worker. This guy is a card carrying thug.
Muslim Marxist. He is the embodiment of everything we've been warning about the red-green axis. Play cut 402. I absolutely think that what we need to do is give support and funding to institutions that are trained to deal with these kinds of issues. As you said, if you're having an argument with someone and there's a risk of it escalating,
who is better positioned to de-escalate it? Someone who is well known in the community or someone who has been trained specifically in de-escalation or a stranger who has a gun. And I think that we need to say and ask ourselves, look at how policing is done in the suburbs in wealthier, whiter America.
When people make mistakes, the answer is not to throw them in jail. The answer is not to put them in a cage and throw away the key. The answer is to try and find a non-carceral solution. Community service, something where they learn from their mistakes, there's a sense of accountability and growth, all these kinds of things, which for many people in this country, especially black people, are not offered the same opportunity.
This is pure oppressor-oppressed Marxist struggle dynamics. The answer is criminals go to jail. He is a classic doctrinaire Marxist. And then you add the Mohammedism, which makes us even more of a lethal threat. Everybody, John Lennon used to say that New York City was the center of the world. This is not just some sort of random mayor's race in...
North Carolina. Love North Carolina. Or in Wisconsin. This is the center of the world. This is the pinnacle of our financial, cultural, and iconic American city. Most people abroad, when they think of America, they'll think of New York City. It's where our current president built the skyline. And we're going to talk more about this after the break, but I want to leave you with a heavy and somber thought.
about this Muhammadism that is on pace to become the next mayor of New York City. He makes Bill de Blasio look like a moderate. Is that 24 years ago, two planes hit the World Trade Center, and Muhammadism attacked America. And now 24 years later, in the city where over 2,000 Americans died at the hands of Muhammadism, is Islam going to get the last laugh? Who actually won if Mamdani wins this mayor's race?
Because we imported well over 500,000 of them. Now it's 750,000 of them in New York. New York City, the city that got attacked by Islam and Muhammadism 24 years later is flirting with a Muslim Marxist mayor. Now you might say, oh, let New York do whatever New York's going to do. It doesn't matter. Everybody, first of all, this is part of our turf too. It's still in the United States of America. It's not some foreign land. But understand the biggest looming issue in front of us
is Project 10 million. Project 10 million is us removing 10 million illegal invaders in the interior of the United States. We have to deport 10 million people in four years, minimum. Be nice to get to 1520. 10 million is a realistic number. We're probably around 1.3 or 1.4 right now, if you count self-deportations. Big, beautiful bill will help. But if that is the pace after six months,
We're going to need more work to get done. Now, mind you, if Mamdani becomes the mayor of New York City, this is all part of a Democrat strategy to fortify the major cities against President Trump. They want to fortify Los Angeles. They want to fortify San Francisco, Chicago, and New York against any of the mass deportation effort. And what's fascinating about who is actually supporting Mamdani
Is that it's not the working class, not the muscular class, not the plumbers, not the electricians, not the guys that make New York work. No, the people that are supporting Mom Donnie, Mom Donnie's biggest thrust of support is from who? Is from people that have college degrees. Andrew Cuomo, that's right. We even covered this all. Did you know Mom Donnie is running against Andrew Cuomo, the former disgraced governor of New York, who, by the way, would be like a moderate compared to Mom Donnie at this point.
Cuomo leads Mamdani among voters without a four-year college degree, 61% to 39%. So Cuomo is kind of fitting that Trump working class mold. But Mamdani leads Cuomo among college educated voters, 62% to 38%. And some of Mamdani's support is coming from the Upper East Side. It's coming from people that
are very college educated, very affluent, very secular. Now, I'm not going to comment on this because I get attacked too much on this, but I am curious because I'm seeing more and more images of this, of Jewish groups that are endorsing Mamdani. I'm not going to get involved in that. If you guys want to go do that, you have the agency to do that, I'll allow Josh Hammer to hit them at a different time on this program. I'm literally not going to comment on it because everything gets spliced and taken out of context every time I even mention that.
topic. So have fun. Go at it. Go vote for Mamdani, Jewish Voice for Peace or whatever, you know, organization that is.

If you live in New York City, do you want to vote for Muhammad Mao? That's basically what it is. You have Muhammad Mao as a blended political dynamic. You see, we sent out a tweet the other day. We said, you know that New York City is about to elect a Muslim socialist. It went totally viral. People said, what are you talking about? No one's even heard of this guy. His base of support are the people that have been educated to a place of stupidity. I wrote the entire book, The College Scam, for a reason because I said,
The colleges are introducing idea toxins and philosophical pathogens that will deteriorate and will destabilize the United States of America. His base are the people that have the most college degrees. So basically the people that are the richest, the most sheltered, and the most out of touch with the everyday concerns. Oh yeah, I earned $600,000 in New York. Sure.
Nationalize the grocery stores. It won't be nationalized. Confiscate the grocery stores. He supports ideas that have failed literally everywhere. And everywhere they have been tried, but they come back because they're driven by resentment. And then on top of it, you have white guilt. Do not underestimate the white guilt element of Zoran Mamdani. You better believe that secular, miserable people throughout New York
They feel good voting for Mamdani because they say, see, I'm not a racist. He is the candidate for freaks who hate normal people and resentful immigrants who hate the West. And we imported his base in New York City. And if we are serious about taking back America and taking about Western civilization, if we are serious about the reclamation project in front of us, if we are serious about it, then Zoran Mamdani must be defeated.
How is a story like this possible? In a city that was attacked and the towers fell. Remember when there was all this outrage about whether or not they were going to be able to build a mosque at ground zero? Do you remember that story like 20 years ago? It was a national news story. Forget a mosque. You're going to get a mayor. You're not just going to get like a singular place of religious gathering. There will be a potential Muslim mayor of New York City, the largest city in America,
and one of the most important cities on the planet. Civilization is on the line. We'll keep our eyes very closely on this Democrat primary.
Joining us now is Senator Mike Lee. Senator, thank you for taking the time. Senator, you have a component of the big, beautiful bill that is about federal lands. There's been a lot of misinformation and propaganda about it. I love what you're trying to do here. And some people are against it because they're actually not understanding what it is. And I would be against it if it's what they thought it was. But, Senator, what is in the bill and what are you trying to accomplish here? The whole idea...
behind the need for what we're starting to call the Freedom Zone Housing Plan is that we've got a nationwide shortage of homes, particularly in the Western United States. And that's not acceptable in America. Americans need and deserve the chance to buy a home. Now, coincidentally, the U.S. government owns about 640 million acres of land, nearly a third of all land mass in the U.S.,
And a lot of that goes unused and mismanaged by the US government. The vast majority of it has zero recreational value. A lot of it doesn't have any conservation value. So what I'm proposing is that we take just a fraction, just a fraction of 1% of that land. We're talking like less than half of a percent of federal land and make it available to Americans who simply need a roof over their heads.
And, you know, contrary to a lot of the alarmist rhetoric that's out here on this bill, the bill explicitly exempts all federally protected lands from eligibility for sale. And that includes like 15 different categories from wilderness and national monuments, national forests, recreation areas, and so on and so forth.
But there's been this massive misinformation campaign, I believe, funded ultimately by people on the left who are trying to dupe conservatives into believing that it'll somehow endanger the beautiful scenic landscapes that make the West so special and somehow threaten the rights of ranchers, of farmers, of hunters, and other recreation enthusiasts.
and we've accommodated those concerns. We've made recent changes just in the last few days to narrow the scope and to make even clearer that this would apply only with respect to land that is in or immediately adjacent to existing residential communities. So this isn't the stuff that's out there that's protected land. This is just
Basically, surplus land that's suitable for housing because it's right next to where people live. Well, I want to address the propaganda head on. So actually, I'm glad the studio did this. Can you guys put up the pictures again? So the studio, Senator, is showing pictures of Yosemite and Yellowstone. By the way, I'm like a national park junkie.
Just so we're clear. So I think that right there is Yosemite National Park. I'm pretty clear. Sure, that is, I think, the Grand Canyon. So just keep going. So this is, we had the greatest national parks ever. I think that's Zion National Park. I'm not mistaken. Usually if you're looking up, it's Zion. Go one more. Let me see.
It's like a pop quiz. And that's Saguaro National Park in right outside of Tucson. That is probably Yosemite, if I'm not mistaken. And that there is also Yosemite and or Yellowstone. One of those is Yellowstone. OK, so center. And then that's the Redwoods. Senator, just be clear. You're not talking about these national parks, right? Because that's the propaganda that is being used. OK, so please just throw it down and separate fact from fiction here.
- Exactly. So we've specifically exempted that category of protected land and like 15 others from it. Moreover, I would add, Charlie, even if that weren't in there, and that is, it's a categorical exclusion,
that land still wouldn't be appropriate for use with housing. And so again, we're talking about a tiny subset of the federal land footprint. And if you boil all this down and you look at those who are most fervently opposed to this bill, you ultimately come away with an absolutist message. A message that says basically the federal government may not reduce its federal land footprint,
by even a fraction of 1% or even a few acres, because to do so would just be horrible. That cannot be the case. That must not be the case. This land is owned by the US government. Not all of it is appropriate for conservation, for hiking, for recreation, for hunting. And some of it really is most appropriate or only appropriate for use in the housing area. There is no reason not to allow a process by which people
can gain access to that and have a review done as to whether the land in question is appropriate for housing. Every Fourth of July, I think about what it really means to be free. It's not just fireworks and cookouts. It's remembering that our freedom was earned and keeping it means taking responsibility for ourselves and our families. That's why I shop at My Patriot Supply. Some hunters are pushing back against this. Can you, you added recently, I hear you hunting nation. We're making changes. Can we put 445 up though, the B roll? So this is the land that is more likely. I know you can't see any of this Senator, but okay. Largely barren.
Kind of flat. We're not talking about Yosemite. We're not talking about Grand Teton. Right. So you said it has to be to adjacent residential communities, if I'm not mistaken. Right. So it's only making the residential communities more contiguous. This is not a new community in the middle of Yellowstone.
We're not getting condos in Yellowstone. No, that's exactly right. For about 10 independent reasons, you're not getting condos in Yellowstone. And it also prioritizes single-family housing, by the way. But the most recent changes involved removing all Forest Service land. We're not selling off condos.
for us. The most recent changes also include significantly reducing the total amount of BLM, Bureau of Land Management, managed land that's in the bill and it would be limited to only land within five miles of an existing population center that would even be eligible. And then, you know, the idea here is to establish these freedom zones and housing within those to ensure that the lands benefit
uh american families and they protect our farmers our ranchers and our recreational users this is what we need uh we need for this to happen and we need to dispel once and for all the myths that the federal land footprint occupying nearly a third of all land mass in the united states including some things that really aren't suitable for anything other than housing we got to dispel that myth
So, Senator, I think some of the criticism is well intended. Some of it from the left is not well intended. Can you talk about the Democrats war on single family housing, please? Sure. Look, they, of course, will have to speak for themselves. But what I have seen
and what i've heard is that people on the left generally want people moving from rural areas into urban areas more suburban areas to more urban areas and from single family housing into multi-family housing higher density housing units they believe that that's good for them for perhaps for mother earth or whatever their reasons might be
Conservatives tend to want Americans to be able to pursue the American dream, make sure that they at least have a fighting chance in the race of life. They're fighting chance to enter the American dream path of acquiring ownership of a single family dwelling unit.
And so that is a fundamental difference between the two parties. It's a fundamental difference certainly between conservatives and far left radicals who mainly who are a lot of people opposing this. Now you're right, there are some people on the right who are also opposing it. But I believe many of them have been armed with information that's caused them to be mistaken about what the bill does and more importantly, what it doesn't do. The left has been very creative and effective at how they've beaded the field with this information.
putting out maps putting up maps that misstate uh misrepresent and dramatically overstate what the bill would do we haven't put out maps because there are a whole bunch of criteria established by the legislation and those criteria are very difficult to reduce to a map and putting out the maps that the left has on this suggests a massive amount of land that would never could never be sold in part because it wouldn't be suitable for housing
And so and so, Senator, in closing, let me just put these maps up on screen. So let's say so that's what there are fear mongering about. But it's really 443. Put 443 up on screen. That's how small of the I can't even see it. It's so small. How many new houses would this potentially result in, Senator? In a number of Western states where this would apply, you could potentially double over a number of years.
a single family, the supply of single family homes, but do so on a footprint of less than one, a fraction of 1%, less than half a percent of all federal land owned. That's what we're talking about here.
and these are these are not sensitive lands they are not lands that are out there that are part of an environment that's appropriate uh for hunting for hiking uh for fishing etc these are things that are in or immediately adjacent to established rent
residential inhabited communities. That's all we're dealing with. And I really appreciate you letting me come on your show to explain what the bill does and what it doesn't do. Really, really quick, Senator. You got a dash. Do you think the big, beautiful bill is going to pass sometime soon? If yes, walk us through the timing. I believe that this bill, the big, beautiful bill, some version of it is going to pass. There are still a lot of moving parts to it. I continue to believe that we need more aggressive steps
deficit reduction that then can be found either in the house bill or in the current iteration such as it is in the senate among other things we we need a full repeal of the inflation reduction act subsidies those subsidies were put in place exclusively by democrat votes not a single republican in the house not a single republican in the senate voted for any of those i think those all need to go away
and they need to be terminated completely during this president's term in office, we can achieve additional deficit reduction through that. If we get that done and tighten up some other conditions, I think this passes. And I think it passes between now and July 4th in the Senate.
And either within that time or shortly thereafter in the House. Very good. Senator, thank you so much. We'll keep our eyes on it. Thank you for your time. Really appreciate it. Talk to you soon. Thank you. Thanks so much for listening, everybody. Email us as always, freedom at charliekirk.com. Thanks so much for listening and God bless.
