Come see us live in Glasgow, Manchester, Belfast, Dublin, London, Liverpool, Birmingham. Go to JimmyDore.com for a link for tickets. Hey, it's the Jimmy Dore Show. Keaton speaking. Who's calling, please? Hello, Keaton. How are you? This is former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. Oh, hello, Governor. Thanks for calling.
Now, Keaton, I am not going to do this thing where I act all befuddled that you are in the chair and Jimmy is gone. In my opinion, that is just a cheap way to waste time in the beginning of these phone call sketches.
Keaton, I am a native New Yorker. I am used to meeting new people all the time. I welcome it. I embrace it. How nice of you. Thank you. Thank you. But seriously, let's get Jimmy back tootsweet. One of the great joys of my life is antagonizing him as my political star is on the rise again. I'm well aware. I hear there have been some shakeups in the New York mayoral race. Not really. Really?
Not really. I wouldn't even call them shakeups, Keaton. They're more like mild wiggles, if that even. Look, the headline here is that I am still in the lead by a significant margin over my many nameless, faceless challengers. Okay, I'm pretty sure they have names and faces, sir.
Well, they may as well not, considering how unknown this array of jabronis is to the voters of New York City.
I mean, come on with these clowns. So your primary opponent, Zoran Mamdani, has surged in the polls recently, narrowing your lead pretty significantly. Oh, please. First of all, that's an internal poll from his campaign, this Zoltan or whatever his name is. So I trust that about as much as I do anything from someone who is not a supporter of Israel.
But if he has gained popularity, it's because he's a commie who has promised everyone handouts. And most New Yorkers aren't going to fall for that. Meaning he has a popular socialist platform that includes rent freezes and free buses. Oh, my God. Does everyone get a free pony to get real with this nonsense? Will you? New Yorkers won't fall for it. And he doesn't support Israel.
Eventually, he's going to have to go back to Coney Island and once again turn 10-year-old kids into full-grown Tom Hankses for a living. Okay. Well, also, you recently were fined $675,000 while one of your challengers, Adrian Adams, was awarded $2.4 million. That has to sting, right?
Not really. We knew the campaign board was going to engage in these leveling the playing field type shenanigans. These were foreseen shenanigans, I assure you. We have enough in the kitty to not worry about such ploys. Plus, my ace in the hole is going to seal this for me for good.
And what would that be? Keaton, that would be the fact that Trump's Justice Department is going to start investigating yours truly for lying to Congress about how I handled COVID as governor. Thank you, election gods. Actually, this sounds like a bad thing. Keaton, you don't understand New York City.
With all due respect, first of all, this is already being reported by outlets like Reuters as part of Trump's efforts to go after political rivals.
So now I'm Andrew Cuomo, being politically persecuted by a despised, despotic president. That will be catnip to Democrats. Yeah, probably. Even the Democrats who had serious misgivings about voting for me will see this and say I hate Donald Trump so much.
Whoever he goes for must be good, actually. And I will get their vote again. This can only work in my favor, Keaton. Okay, I see. I see.
And then there's the New York angle. New York hates Donald Trump. They will see me, a scrappy Italian kid from around the way, stand up to and out bowl this rich prick from Jamaica Estates, Queens, and real New Yorkers are going to be programmed to support me. They love that. Okay. Okay. Nothing New Yorkers love more than an underdog who kicks ass and ends up on top.
So I welcome any and all problems from Donald Trump. Bring it on, you fake bull. So, Keaton, do I have your vote? No.
Well, then why the hell did I call, goddammit? Get Jimmy back here. What a waste of my time. I have to go now, Keaton. I'm a very busy man. I have a New York mayoral campaign to run, by which I mean numerous pro-Israel functions to attend. Arrivederci, mi amici. Establishment media sucks. All gaslighting, so good luck. Bullshit we can't afford while he's fomenting this.

Bringing in our first guest, Gabor Mate is a retired physician and author who, after 20 years of family practice and palliative care experience, worked for over a decade in Vancouver's downtown Eastside with patients challenged by drug addiction and mental illness. He's an internationally renowned speaker, highly sought after for his expertise on addiction, trauma, childhood development, and the relationship of stress and illness. His
His most recent book, which is called The Myth of Normal in Trauma, Illness, and Healing in a Toxic Culture, is a New York Times international bestseller. It's a great pleasure and honor to welcome to the show Dr. Gabor Matei. Doctor, great to meet you. First of all, I'll drop the doctor. Would you make sure it's called Gabor, okay? Gabor, you got it. All right. Gabor, yeah. Thanks for having me, you guys.
Absolutely. It's a great, great pleasure to meet you. A big admirer of your work. And I really wanted to have you on to talk about the Gaza genocide in terms of the, you know, your area of expertise, trauma and childhood and parenting, both
Benjamin Netanyahu
by an eight-year-old child. At first, I saw this video posted, and nowadays with AI and things, I couldn't really believe that this was real until I saw it posted from Netanyahu's account himself. I think Israel is very much a country really born of trauma and a people who has a very unhealthy way of dealing with
their trauma and you speak so much about childhood so I want to just take a quick look at this video and then get your comment.
Because we want to release all our hostages and we are pouring in hostages. So we will take all of Gaza's territory, we will seize all of the territory. At the same time, we will take from Hamas not only territory and not only kill its terrorists, but we will also take away its ability to steal food from the residents of Gaza.
who are not Hamas, and we will put all the residents aside so that they will not be harmed. And then we will go after Hamas and also free the hostages. I mean, what do we want to achieve? To release all the hostages, to eliminate Hamas, both militarily and politically, to de-escalate
to demilitarize do you know what demilitarization is do you know what demilitarization is what is it do you know so i'll tell you demilitarization is to take all the weapons that are there take out the weapons take out exilance leaders free our hostages that's the plan
What else? What do you say about the lessen military? You should go to the Hamas terrorists, right? You shouldn't go to the terrorists. Where are your people to prevent Hamas from coming in? So then he goes and he explains the military strategy of enforcing the blockade.
Obviously, the trauma inflicted on children in Gaza is unspeakable, both in terms of its severity and the scale. But when I see videos of Israeli children, it makes me think, well, what chance do they have of turning out any different from the Israeli leadership today?
From the active duty IDF. Can you, first of all, your comments on a video like that where an eight-year-old kid who probably shouldn't even know what war or death even is yet is interviewing the president or the prime minister, rather, about these kinds of topics. The trauma that is sort of embedded within Israeli society as well.
If one wanted to create a vicious parody of Netanyahu, one couldn't have created a better one. It's so polluted, what he says. His manner is so disingenuous. It's so patently inauthentic. His soft voice, with which he justifies the mass killing of tens of thousands of people. His political explanations...
They're just, there's an expression in Hungarian, my native language, which says that something is so false that not even the opposite is true. And that's all I'm going to say about that now. In terms of trauma, Tony, in 2004, there was a psychiatric report study published in an international psychiatric journal on the trauma level of children in Gaza. In 2004, we must have,
was two years before Hamas took power. In that report, 97.5% of children in Gaza exhibited some symptoms of trauma, some of them severely, some of them less severely, but only 2.5% showed no symptoms. A significant number wet their beds. They had nightmares. They had anxiety, aggression towards their parents, all kinds of behaviors, fears.
And that was 2004. So those kids would have been 19 years later in their early 20s. Guess who streamed into Israel on October the 7th, 2023? None of those kids growing up, who grew up with no chance in life whatsoever, no opportunity to leave the Gaza Strip, living under a vicious, brutal blockade,
I mean, I don't have to rehearse or go through all the history. And if you look at Hamas, again, if anybody thinks that history began on October 7th, they should read that psychiatric study from 2004. If you look at the leaders of Hamas themselves, Chris Hedges, who I know you know, he spoke to one of the founders of Hamas, a physician,
who watched his uncle being murdered in 1956 by the Israeli army in Gaza. And he said, they planted hate in my heart. And so for Netanyahu to begin with this evil monster Hamas, without acknowledging that Israel created Hamas, both in the sense of creating their refugee situation,
problem in Gaza, who are 80% of Gazans were people who were exiled from Israel in the first place, or their descendants. And secondly, in traumatizing the Gazan population over and over and over again for decades, and then talk about these monsters in Hamas. But who created the monster if they're monsters? Who created them? I'm not going to get into a political analysis of Hamas. I'm just saying that nobody should begin to think that history started on October the 7th.
I recently wrote the foreword for a book by the head psychiatrist for the Palestinian territories, Dr. Salma Jabbar. It's called Resilience. And she's talking about the mental state of the population living under the constant stress and trauma of occupation. Not just Gaza, but the West Bank as well. And she says, for example, when an 81-year-old comes to me with suicidal depression,
Because the home that he built with his own hands, now he's being forced to demolish with his own hands? What am I supposed to do with him? Treat him with Prozac for depression, she says? So the trauma in the Palestinian territories is just ongoing and is beyond words. As far as the trauma that was one of the, not the only one, but one of the founding streams that flowed into creating Zionism, sure.
Nobody denies, nobody in their right minds denies the Jewish trauma in Eastern Europe. That doesn't explain Israeli policy. I mean, you could be traumatized in Eastern Europe and still come to the Middle East and looking for refuge without seeking to dominate, oppress and suppress the local population unless you're intent on domination yourself.
unless you have a colonial objective. So that emotionally, the Jewish trauma fed the Zionist dynamic, but it doesn't explain it, not by itself. And so one cannot say that one trauma balances or teeter-totters the other. That's my quick response. Yeah, no, it seems like the Jewish trauma
has sort of morphed. You know, I'm a Jewish guy myself. I have Sicilian in-laws and my mother-in-law was talking to me about Israel-Gaza and she tells me, you know, she's a Catholic Italian, right? She says, you know, I'm surprised that the Jewish people would
be so cruel in this way, given their history? You know, she tells to me, she says, given their history, given what was done to them, I'm kind of surprised they would be so cruel to these people. It's surprising her in that way. Does that signal there's been a sort of morphing of trauma, you know, or what? How would we explain that? Well, so first of all, I'm not surprised, unless one puts Jews into a different category than other human beings.
Um, but I say is that Jews have as much right to be mass murderers as everybody else, you know, uh, if you want to put it that way. Um, I should have told her that. Damn it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Trauma doesn't automatically ennoble you or purifies you. Right. Right. And more open hearted. It can have all kinds of effects. And, uh,
all kinds of traumatized people become really cruel and aggressors so that trauma is not multiple possible outcomes. One of them is that you take on the characteristics of the traumatizer so that you can be strong and never be a victim again. Right. And that, and that, that's largely what's going on on the emotional level, you know, and, uh,
And in terms of what you said about the education of young Israeli kids and young Jewish kids in general, is that they are propagandized from an early age on into this victim mode. We're always the victims. Everybody's always against us. We have to be just the biggest MFs on the block, you know, to protect ourselves. And that...
If you talk to Israeli war resistors, people that refuse to serve in the army or people who are genuinely in favor of peace, which is a vanishingly small percentage of the Israeli population right now, they'll tell you the propaganda system in which they were caught up from a very early age on. And they'll tell you how difficult it was to break away from that. And if you saw the film "Israelism," which is about young American Jews,
deprogramming themselves from their childhood enmeshment in Zionist ideology, it's the same difficulty. And so that, yeah, you can traumatize people by inculcating certain beliefs in them. And if you tell people that you're always the victim and everybody's always against you and everybody will always be against you, well, what kind of consciousness do you grow up with?
And then naturally you'll gravitate towards the strong people that will protect you and the strong army and the strong weapons. And you will not for a minute even allow yourself to recognize the brutality that you're perpetrating. 80% of Israelis right now are in favor of expelling all the Gazans from Gaza. 82%.
90% amongst the religious Israelis, only 70% amongst the secular Israelis. And close to 50% of Israelis in a recent poll are in favor of expelling all the Palestinians from all of Israel. Close to 50%. Imagine if you did a poll in the United States and those kind of numbers were in favor of expelling all indigenous people and all colored people.
What that would mean about American society. Not that you're not heading that way, but that's what we're looking at. And then the other thing is, with few exceptions aside, this show being one of them, where do people even hear it? I mean, this news about the Israeli poll, you think it'd be front page in the New York Times. They didn't even mention it.
Lindsey Graham called for the murder of Greta Thunberg. He said, I sure hope she can swim. I mean, you got a senator egging on literally the murder of a young activist woman. It's just it's unbelievable. Hey, you know, here's another great way you can help support the show is you become a premium member. We give you a couple of hours of premium bonus content every week.

So the FBI says eight have been injured in a Colorado attack by a man with a makeshift flamethrower who yelled free Palestine.
He hurled an incendiary device into a group that had assembled to raise attention for Israeli hostages in Gaza, law enforcement officials said Sunday. Eight people were injured, some with burns. The suspect, Mohammed Sabri Suleiman, 45, was booked into the Boulder County Jail north of Denver and expected to face charges in connection with the attack the FBI was investigating as a terrorist act.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a statement Monday saying he, his wife, and the entire nation of Israel were praying for the full recovery of the people wounded in the, quote, vicious terror attack in Colorado.
This attack was aimed against peaceful people who wish to support a genocide in peace. No, he didn't say that. Who wish to express their solidarity with the hostages held by Hamas simply because they were Jews, Netanyahu said. Of course, there could be no other reason. The attack occurred as people with a volunteer group called Run for Their Lives was concluding their weekly demonstration to raise visibility for the hostages who remain in Gaza.
Video from the scene shows a witness shouting, he's right there, he's throwing Molotov cocktails as a police officer with his gun drawn advances on a bare-chested suspect who is holding containers in each hand. Let's take a look at that.
We're here, brother. We're here. We can't do nothing about that. We can't do nothing. We can't. We're not here. We're not here, brother. We're not. We're not here, brother.
He was wearing an orange suit with like something on his back. He was spraying alcohol. He was spraying alcohol but with his head, he made it look like he was here to... He's making Molotov cocktails. Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey
Okay. Can't believe that wasn't a Florida man. Alex Osante of San Diego said he was having lunch on a restaurant patio across the pedestrian mall when he heard the crash of a bottle breaking on the ground, a boom sound followed by people yelling and screaming. In video of the scene captured by Osante, people could be seen pouring water on a woman lying on the ground who Osante said had caught on fire during the attack.
A man who later identified himself as an Israeli visiting Boulder, who decided to join the group that day, ran up to Asante on the video asking for some water to help.
After that initial attack, Osante said the suspect went behind some bushes and then reemerged and threw a Molotov cocktail, but apparently accidentally caught himself on fire as he threw it. The man then took off his shirt and what appeared to be a bulletproof vest before the police arrived. The man dropped to the ground and was arrested without any apparent resistance in the video that Osante filmed.
Authorities did not disclose details about Solomon, but said they believe that he acted alone and that no other suspect was being sought. He was also injured and was taken to the hospital to be treated, but authorities didn't elaborate on the nature of his injuries. FBI leaders immediately declared the attack an act of terrorism and the Justice Department denounced it as a needless act of violence, which follows recent attacks against Jewish Americans.
Now, of course, there is no justification for an action like this. We do not support violence. It is interesting the terms that he used, though, given that it's being painted as specifically an attack against Jews. This just broke today.
illegal alien, Boulder terrorist, told investigators he'd been planning the attack for a year and waited until after his daughter graduated, FBI says. Mohammed Soloman said he, quote, wanted to kill all Zionist people and he would do it again, according to court documents. Now, it is interesting that he chose that
particular term, which would imply that his actions, which again, we do not support, there's no justification for violence, violent action against unarmed people like that. But he did choose the term, I think very intentionally, Zionist. So Donald J. Trump
Truth doubt. Yesterday's horrific attack in Boulder, Colorado, will not be tolerated in the United States of America. He came in through Biden's ridiculous open border policy, which has hurt our country so badly. He must go out under Trump policy. Acts of terrorism will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
This is yet another example of why we must keep our borders secure and deport illegal anti-American radicals from our homeland. My heart goes out to the victims of this terrible tragedy and the great people of Boulder, Colorado. Dan Shapiro went on CNN and he tweeted out about his appearance on CNN. I discussed the attack on Boulder with, who is that, Rahal Salamon?
We need clear, we don't watch CNN. We need clear condemnations of anti-Semitic violence from every quarter, better security and law enforcement cooperation and education about this pernicious hatred. Eyal Yokobe.
Breaking the terrorist behind the Boulder, Colorado attack has been identified as Mohammed Solomon. Let's be clear. The pro-Palestinian movement is not a protest movement. It's a terror movement.
And Laura Loomer, brain trust that she is. This is a photo of police chief Stephen Redfeam with his husband marching in the 2019 Denver Pride Parade.
I wonder where Chief Redfern's mind was yesterday on the first day of pride when a Muslim terrorist burned Jews alive in broad daylight in Boulder. Disgusting. D-E-I equals D-I-E.
The real Zionist propagandists, they are trying so hard with the MAGA base to draw a connection between wokeness and being pro-Palestine. They never miss an opportunity. So she would have you believe the police chief was not there at a completely random incident because he would have had absolutely no way of anticipating because he was running around shirtless with glow sticks at a pride celebration or something.
And 99% Johnny Graz. Imagine if the media covered the Boulder attack the way they cover attacks in Gaza. And you see here the headline, Jewish extremists catch fire during pro-genocide protest. Yes, you'll never see that headline in CNN.
Um, so yes, I mean, we said this about the embassy shooting. This is terrible for the cause because it allows them to use that for propagandistic purposes to brand the pro Palestine moment as a terrorist movement. And with this lawless administration, um, you, you give them any premise by which they can ratchet up.
illegal seizures of students, revocations of visas, arrest of protesters. They're going to do it. This is not the way. This is not the way. Whatever you think about the conflict, this doesn't help. No. And Jimmy did a great segment about the embassy shooting, speculating that they're perhaps making
May have been more to that than what meets the eye. And I think there's that's certainly a possibility. There was a mysterious man there who handed the keffiyeh to the shooter, which no normal, no normal person stuck around for an off camera. There are two dead bodies in that frame. So the point is, whether these are false flags or not.
They function the way a false flag would, which is they invite tremendous backlash upon the movement and what people are saying there on Twitter, which is basically now we need to criminalize the pro-Palestine movement. These actions give them pretext to do that. And once they do that.
You are set back a thousand steps because they have a police state that they tricked you into letting them build by bashing immigrants 24 hours a day for the last two years as if that was their real target. Deportations lag behind Biden's deportations. They lag behind Obama's deportations. They don't care about deporting people. They care about tricking people into manufacturing consent for a police state, which they have done, and they're well on their way to deportation.
building that out both physically and technologically with this Palantir contract. So the point is these acts of violence are terrible in and of themselves. Like they're intrinsically bad. It's intrinsically bad to attack civilians, obviously, right? That goes without saying politically, they set the movement back a long ways to the point where they may as well be a false flag. And it is interesting that now that, and, and, you know, now that,
The tide has turned. This blockade really was devastating for Israel's image around the world and the way they are perceived around the world. Now you have governments like Canada, France, the UK, Germany even threatening to suspend weapons shipments. Hacks like Piers Morgan coming out against Israel. Hacks like Bono, tepidly but nonetheless, clueless.
criticizing Israel the way they were unwilling to do. The fact that these things are happening now is suspicious. When you say a false flag, you're not saying it didn't happen. You're saying it was engineered. It's not to dismiss the loss and obviously that kind of violence is horrible no matter who did it for whatever reason, obviously. But yeah, this invites not only a political backlash in terms of public opinion, you are daring to
fascists to double and triple and quadruple down on fascism when you do this. Which means it's a terrible thing to do. And you're real...
You really don't have to encourage this crew. No, you don't. These people need no encouragement whatsoever. So as a movement, what you have to do is you have to denounce it unequivocally, no matter what it was, because it's an act of violence against civilians. You have to denounce that under all circumstances and move on. And after the embassy shooting, that's what happened.
Right. Everyone I knew, every pro-Palestine person I knew on X was horrified that that happened because they knew the damage it can do to the movement. So what did they do? Right. They moved on and it didn't hurt the movement. Yeah. Same thing here. Whenever something like this happens, you have to just denounce that violence and move on. And if we do that, I think we'll be OK. But if you if you fall into the trap of giving the police state pretext and ammunition now, forget it. That's a downward spiral into hell. It moves very, very quickly.
Yep. Yep. So Jake Tapper has a book out. I don't know if you guys know this. If you watch CNN, he spends a lot of time at his side gig as a broadcaster, plugging the book and hocking the book. The Daily Show put together a pretty funny montage of him using his main job as the sandwich board to promote his authorship. So let's take a look.
We're back with breaking news and our politics lead and a brand new excerpt from my upcoming book with Axios' Alex Thompson. It's called Original Sin. I'm not sure if you've heard of it. It's on Biden's decline. It's called Original Sin. I'm sure you've heard on May 20th. That's Tuesday. Original Sin. That's coming out in three weeks. On May 20th. That's just 19 days away. In one week and one day. Coming out in just a few days. Comes out Tuesday. You will not believe what we found out. I bet I will. I bet I will.
Don't news people have to tell you what they know when they find it out? Isn't that the difference between news and a secret? Yes, that is a good point. It's not really news if you're saying I'm going to tell you in a couple weeks what I know now.
It's old now. Yeah, that's right. That's right. At that point, it is no longer news, but it is pretty shameless profiteering, especially since, as we all know, Jake Tapper was part of the very cover up that this book exposes. And what's the original sin that he sucks at his job of being a newsman? Well, here's the thing, man. I mean, Biden scooped him because I think the original sin was,
was the prostate cancer. Like, that's what I think it was. And if you notice, if you remember the announcement that Biden had prostate cancer came out just a few days before this book dropped. And I don't think that is a coincidence at all. I think they decided to go public with the diagnosis in order to number one, scoop this book.
Right. Because, oh, right. Expose in there. Oh, there's all this spicy information in there. Well, how I've got cancer. Is that in your stupid little gay book? I don't think so. The book seems kind of shitty now, doesn't it? Right. Yeah, that's a real job. That's like the petty kind of Nixonian ego thing that is characteristic of Joe Biden. And second, they probably figure, well, if there's going to be a book out about what a liar I am, maybe I'll get some sympathy from
in advance of its release. So I think it was double-pronged, their rationale. But Jake Tapper's CNN show hits lowest ratings since 2015, despite new Biden book buzz, intense publicity tour. So that's right. It's intense.
It did not pay off for him, at least at the first job. Lowest ratings in a decade. CNN host Jake Tapper had his lowest rated month in nearly a decade in May, despite a whirlwind publicity tour giving him an onslaught of attention.
Tapper and Axios reporter Alex Thompson's new book, Original Sin, President Biden's Decline, Its Cover-Up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again, was released in May to much fanfare. The book helped set the recent news cycle with new accusations of the Biden White House hiding the truth about the former president's fitness for office. To promote the project, Tapper has embarked on a wide-ranging book tour that landed him on a variety of
podcasts, talk shows, and cable news. The book has also been promoted relentlessly across CNN, but the spotlight on Tapper has seemingly failed to give him a boost in viewership. The lead with Jake Tapper averaged 525,000 total viewers from April 28th
through may 25th shedding 25 percent of cnn's audience in its time slot from the same period last year in the process by comparison fox news offerings the five and special report with brett bayer averaged 3.3 million viewers from april 28th through may 25th trouncing tapper yeah it's more than that's like six times the numbers
MSNBC also beat Tapper among total viewers as programming on the progressive network averaged a little over 1 million viewers in the time slot. As a result, Tapper settled for only 11% of the cable news audience share while MSNBC managed 21 and Fox news commanded 68% during the timeframe. It was Tapper's lowest rated month since August, 2015. So this is why MSNBC,
his ratings are in the tank now. So Joe famous lib account here, Jake Tapper, CNN, you should be ashamed of yourselves. This is in response to the John Stewart. Is she mad because they wrote the book?
finally or that that's not because no well this is what it is so the libs are upset that he's bashing Joe Biden and then everyone who's critical of Joe Biden knows he's full of shit and that he knew all this years in advance and he just sat on the information to a deceive the public and then cash in on that
later by profiteering all Democrats. They all, because when they say how Kamala ran a great campaign, my favorite line of all only costs a billion dollars to lose and go on, you know, Hawk to his mom's podcast instead of Rogan's, but all the dumbest moves you could think is because those people were making as much. They knew it was a loser. Yep. Cash out as much as we can. Yep. And they achieved a billion dollar scam. Oh, and so now the scam is done. Oh,
A bunch of them want to keep me. They're going to put out like limited hangout stuff like the book. Oh, 100 percent. 100 percent. That's exactly what happened. Now, Richard Angwin, you talk about a dumb tweet. Jake Tapper's timing with original sin is a masterclass in insensitivity, capitalizing on Biden's cancer diagnosis for book sales. CNN's ethics are as compromised as Tapper's judgment.
The cancer diagnosis came out like three days before the book release. What do you think? They wrote the book in five hours. Like, that's just an insanely stupid comment. Oh, he's being paid, obviously. He's obviously, this is a masterclass in being paid to tweet something.
That's how I hate to tweet nonsense. Yeah. Leslie 007 with the American and the Ukraine flag in the bio. That's how you know you're in for a banger. It's such a somber day as we learn about the serious health condition of our former president, who is featured in this blockbuster new book by Jake Tapper available on Amazon. It is disgusting. All of it, especially with a deranged madman with dementia in the White House. Now, yes.
between the lines, says CNN is a total disgrace. This seems unbelievable to say, but here it is. CNN is worse than Fox News. So those are all the libs. No, don't. You can't take that back.
Well, this is what I mean. They're boycotting the show now because the libs are pissed off that he insulted Joe Biden. And of course, on the other side, you have what is obviously true. And this is obviously the question that comes to mind amongst people with two brain cells to rub together. What did Jake Tapper know and when did he know it?
This guy says, I am surprised he didn't name it. If I did it. Yes, that was the name of the OJ. His name of the OJ book could be called if I hit it in this case. He had written the book when he should have. Why? Right. We all could see it. You don't need a book being done again. We're making videos about this for his entire time because it was so funny and I would have to get Kyle to slow his impression down to be as slow and senile sounding as Biden. What are they talking about?
No, it is. You know, I'm surprised CNN isn't more pissed at him for for doing this, because you talk about using one gig to really hype another gig at the expense of the first gig. Like they had to. They had to. But it's so it's so stupid. I mean, look at the backfire. Like, how could you how could you allow him to do this? The whole book.
undermines his job at cnn like you have a news anchor who's covering the presidential race for two years he's on record on camera multiple times gaslighting the public about how biden is good to go you allow him to write a book about how he's been using your airwaves to lie and
And cast like the public for two years? Yeah. Like what did you see? CNN is going to be the result of that. This is on, I think this is for CNN. I think probably this is like those Navy SEAL books, like a lone survivor that the Navy just wrote for the dude and said, you go say this, you know, because the real story is not like the movie that made me tear up like a chump. Oh, that's what this is. CNN's got to pivot now because they failed so bad. So now just like Cenk Uygur, the man whose name it feels racist to say he pivoted.
Oh, populism's not bad. They're all pivoting now. So Tapper is a tool bag. He would never independently write a book. He wouldn't even report the news when it happened. CNN probably is a piece of it, I would guess. And it's for their image. Like, we're the more honest than MSNBC. That's what they're trying to go for, a niche. Just like paying money to learn how to talk to men. This is like another, you know, it's the same inept pivot.
Yeah, but, you know, as as someone who, you know, does a show where we piss off Democrats and Republicans in pretty much equal measure, I can tell you, you know, if you're running a big multimillion dollar news network, that is not the way to drive ratings. There's a reason why Fox does well and MSNBC. I mean, they have not been doing well recently, but there's a reason why they beat Tapper in that time slot, because feeding red meat to Republican partisans.
puts asses in seats the same thing is true on the other side feeding red meat to the blue maga people uh puts asses in seats they're trying to thread a needle here and it's one thing if you're trying to thread the needle in an honest way you know like we try to do which is like hey we're not team red or team blue we're just calling it as we see it okay that that's a tough row to hoe
because most people want confirmation bias. No gang alliance. If you're doing it honestly, but here's the thing. He's doing it dishonestly. I think he's doing it sleazily. He's trying to appeal to the nonpartisan, just objective truth seeker. The whole premise of your book is that you were a massive liar for two years when it mattered most. That's the whole premise of your book. And as Jon Stewart says there, if you have to tease out the news, uh,
hey, in three weeks, you're going to find something out that I know now. At that point, you're not in the news business anymore. And so, of course, it was going to fuck CNN. Of course, it was going to backfire on CNN. So how could they greenlight it if, in fact, they did? Which I assume you're right. I assume they would have to sign off on this because who knows what the fuck he's going to write. You can't just let a guy go rogue like that. CNN wouldn't...
And then plug the book every chance he gets. There's not a chance that he's not off-road on this one in any way, shape, or form. They probably want him to do it. There's a strategy. You could see it there because it reeks of an idiot that doesn't understand what
Like trying to pull a strategy, but doesn't really understand what the problem yet is still somehow, you know? Right. Right. Welcome to the Jimmy door show. Everybody Keaton and Kurt here in for Jimmy, while he is on the road this week. All right.
Want to give you some background on this segment here because our friend David Hogg got himself into even more trouble this week by mentioning this in front of a rolling camera. But let's fill you in on what we're talking about here. So it is not a very well-kept secret in Washington, D.C., that Nancy Pelosi is an absolute boss when it comes to luckily picking stocks. Nancy Pelosi's portfolio beats top hedgehogs.
hedge funds with 54% gains in 2024. Not Dan Crenshaw. She don't beat Dan Crenshaw, believe it or not. Oh, really? He's number one? Dan Crenshaw beats her. Well, last I checked, maybe she's come up now.
Well, same dynamic there, right? Insider knowledge that comes with being in Congress because these top money managers are almost impossible to beat, but she beats them every year. So this was a report from January of 2025 saying, yep, in 2024, sure enough, she beat the top hedge funds in America with 54% gains. The Nancy Pelosi stock tracker account on X.com
formerly Twitter, recently posted that California representatives investment portfolio returned 54% in 2024, beating the popular inverse Kramer accounts, 43% gains to become the top portfolio on the autopilot investment app. The inverse Kramer tells you to do the opposite of what CNBC's financial advisor, Jim Kramer tells you to do. The team behind the Pelosi tracker accounted for,
account, pardon me, created autopilot. It helps investors mimic the trades of popular hedge fund managers and politicians. Pelosi's portfolio gains also beat top hedge funds, which spend vast amounts of money hiring top quantitative analysts and data scientists to build leading AI and machine learning models to maximize profits. But they can't do it as well as Nancy. So...
A couple of weeks later, it came out Nancy Pelosi's husband sold a boatload of Nvidia stock right before it was eviscerated by Chinese startup. She just flew to Taiwan when that happened. Did she not? She had that weird trip to Taiwan and China was like, don't come to Taiwan, Nancy Pelosi. I did not hear of that. Maybe I don't recall it, but yeah, I certainly believe it.
This was from July of 2022. Nancy Pelosi's husband buys over $1 million of computer chip stock weeks before vote on industry subsidies. In 2021, famous quote here,
We play this a lot on our show. Nancy Pelosi was asked if Congress should be banned from trading stocks. Her response, no, this is a free market. That's right. Congress and their spouses be banned from trading individual stocks while serving Congress. No, I don't know to the second one. Any we have a responsibility to report that.
IN THE STOCK ON THE STOCK BUT I DON'T I'M NOT FAMILIAR WITH THAT FIVE MONTH REVIEW BUT IF THE PEOPLE AREN'T REPORTING THEY SHOULD BE
Because this is a free market and people – we have a free market economy. They should be able to participate in that. They should be able to participate in that. Again, just totally lost on her is the idea that when you serve in government, you're supposed to be a public servant, right? You're supposed to forego participation in the free market of that time. She probably works for the CIA that probably controls the stock market. Did you see what I sent you, the mad money of Nancy Pelosi? Oh, no, I didn't.
Yeah, it's a one minute thing of Nancy Pelosi. I wish I had that. Maybe we'll get into that. Yeah, batshit money. I'm playing. I said it to you. You didn't put it up. People aren't reporting. They should be.
Because this is a free market and people, we are a free market economy. Free market economy. We got the right to participate. Well, David Hogg, who is in hot water, they're going to vote on whether or not to remove him in June. He was recently the victim of a Project Veritas sting operation. Here he is explaining.
to the camera person unwittingly that, yeah, of course, of course, the Pelosi stock profiteering stinks to high heaven. You think it's ironic that to the regular Democratic Party, he was beginning to sound more and more like a school shooter? He's actually very good at her job. I don't agree with the stock. He's becoming the lonely, young, single man. Nobody likes him. Nobody likes him.
We got to burn it down. That's true. He's like Joaquin Phoenix now all of a sudden. That's him to the Democratic Party now. Exactly. That's funny. I would say Pelosi's actually very good at her job. I don't agree with the stock trading stuff. I mean, she gets better returns than almost every hedge fund in the city. Every year. Some of these members of Congress make trades that are way too well-timed.
to not have insider knowledge. They happen to be some of the best financial analysts in human history. Have you spoken against that? I've talked to him in the past, but it's also like
I know that if I pick that fight, it's going to be harder for us to get gun control passed. So I pick my path. Spoiler alert. You haven't gotten gun control passed anyway. That's the Democrats for you. Is that the hill you want to die on? That's what's wrong with everything is these idiots all think like that.
Oh, yeah. And I got to say, man, like, I don't I can't imagine. I know he's a young guy, but like, you know, the knives are out for you, right? Like, why would you be just talking like this in a coffee shop? His dad, I can't remember who his dad worked for. But, you know, when I say construct, I mean, like an industry plant type of thing or where there's somebody's an influencer out of nowhere. Right. And they're young and their dad's some rich guy. His dad's somebody in either FBI or something. And, uh,
like how taylor swift is a bullshit construct you know industry plant the kids call it that's what he is right about my job i just want to burn everything down because it's all so corrupt but you got to pick your battles and slowly build your moment this goes on joining us now dnc vice chair david hawk we're not going to go after pelosi one we wouldn't be birth even if we wanted to
That's part of it. But two, it's not necessary to fight to pick when there's other members that are far weaker. And I would say Pelosi is actually very good at her job. I don't agree with the stock trading stuff. You don't? No. Some of these members of Congress make trades that are like way too well-timed to not have like insider knowledge about. And it's a huge problem. Do you think that's how Pelosi is worth hundreds of millions of dollars? Yes.
I mean she gets better returns than almost every hedge fund in the city. Every year. And you don't think that has to change? No, it does. How would you change that? I would just ban members of Congress from owning stock. I would put their assets in a blind truck. You're going to prop up candidates who oppose that?
Is that your goal? Yeah. In part, yeah. Yeah. Because that's a long haul. There's 435. I mean, at this point, I don't know how you don't start to suspect that maybe you're being recorded or maybe something's not right. It's like asking him like open-ended question after question. Yeah, yeah, exactly. Well, would you like to sign here? I'd love to sign. I have anal warts. Like by now, by now you would think, uh,
you know, his alarm bells will be going off. Yeah, exactly. Like you go. Yeah. The guy, you know, pushing by many ages to understand, you know, it's, it's interesting. Cause you get to see how much is like,
on purpose and whatever with him yeah by the time he hits the age where he gets it you've aged out of the demographic everybody gives a shit that's why they want these young like these new young leader with their backstory of whatever that's what they're trying to promote yeah it's all like aoc is one of the best prototypes or justin trudeau these young hotter leaders right and they're all like bullshit influencers and it's it's they might as well be in a boy band
Well, maybe he figures he's got some Nigerian prince money coming his way, and that's why he can afford to speak this loosely, because he seems gullible enough. I wouldn't normally say this. Yeah, I wouldn't normally say this. I just invented the gold mine in Colombia, so I can...
Yeah, exactly. Hey, can you give me a ride to the Western Union after this? I got to pick up a wire transfer for $300,000. They can get me the money, but I got to get them $3,000 right now. Exactly. Yes.
And most likely 430 of them are doing the same thing, which is why they don't want to... I don't know, but I'm just stating. I think it's a pretty good guess. Allegedly. Just conveniently. They happen to be some of the best financial analysts in human history. Have you spoken against that? I've talked to them about it in the past, but it's also like, I know that if I pick that fight, it's going to be harder for us to get gun control passed, so I pick my bad. Yeah.
The hardest part about my job is I just want to burn everything down because it's all so corrupt. But you've got to pick your battles and slowly build your momentum. That's right. He's still in the school shooter, dude. He's in the school shooter.
He is in the club now. He's in the club. And that just gives you a snapshot of the way a lot of these people really think. And because he's so young and so naive, they were able to get him on camera saying this stuff. I can't imagine at this point. Exposed by Project Veritas. Here's the irony. All that stuff he said that's true, that's what's going to get him kicked out of being in the DMC. Of course. Yes. Of course that's what's going to get him kicked out.
I don't really understand what he's saying other than being a punk about it and picking your battles because the time for that has passed. We're at World War III almost. The time for that like, oh, save up your political capital to keep your relationship with power. Is everybody stupid? It's over.
Well, this is what people don't get. And this is what people who work in these environments don't get. And this is how the sort of PMC insulates itself, not even consciously. They just they insulate themselves by way of practicing politics in this way. Living in Washington, only talking with kinds of people who are privy to the inner sort of machinations of this. Like that's the only world you live in.
would you say it sounds like a breakaway civilization except you know not on mars well yeah i mean that is essentially what it is i mean when you look at the class divide uh between the top one percent and everybody else and then you parse it further the top 20 and you can parse it even further than that the top what is it uh 32 30 37 what is it 63 of people can't afford a thousand dollar quick
Cash emergency. Oh, if the brakes go, I can't afford to fix the brakes. That's most of the country. And then you have this crop who lives like this and they are completely insulated from the consequences of how they go about doing politics. Like it is just it's completely naive to. Oh, yeah. No, I wish we could burn it all down. But, you know, we have to work within the system in order to get gun control passed. What gun control they pass, like even on your own terms, what reward did you get?
for playing ball and now now that this is out yeah they're gonna make up some bullshit about how we violated the gender diversity rules but that's nonsense this is this is why he's gotta go and at this point he's gotta go i would be absolutely shocked if he stays yeah oh you want me to play kurtz pelosi video it's done again it means but we made this a long time ago
I want to dedicate it to young David Hogg. Oh, this is your video? Oh, you just texted me five minutes ago. You didn't text me earlier today, right? I forgot about it until you brought up her amazing... Because her saying people can participate in the market was what...
oh got it okay all right hang on it's her jim cramer show yeah let me let me look this up hold on we can edit around this when we clip it here uh okay let's do oh wow okay um all right how nancy okay i'm just gonna search for it now i'll screen share it uh no problem yeah this is his nancy pelosi i think is a pretty fine pelosi

Come back here. Screen share here. All right. Here we go. All right. So let's take a look. Okay. So set this up, Kurt. What is this again? Nancy Pelosi stock trading show. This was before the Ukraine war. Okay. Got it. Here we go. You're back with me, Nancy Pelosi, just in time for the lightning round. That was easy. We should probably be a lure against Congress people trading stocks, but...
We just haven't gotten around to it. Okay, let's get back in. Hank from Toledo, you're on. Booyah, Nancy. Booyah. I read your husband bought Google just before the antitrust bill vote. You guys made $5 million? Mm-hmm. So was that like luck? Yes, it was a miracle. Thank you, George Floyd. Okay, Mark from Illinois.
Booyah. Sell, sell, sell. A little birdie told me I'll be voting the other way. Three.
You newbies at home, don't be discouraged. I lost a lot of money in the market, but things really turned around when I started making lures. When we come back, I'm going to jingle all my jewelry in your face. You'll like it.
All right, that's the Kyle Lilligan show. Yeah, that was cool. He picked that. He has some weird vocal range. So he had started doing Pelosi. I'm just trying to figure out how to do it. And it's like all day we're watching her. And then he went in a room and came out and did this funny-ass thing. Hello. Hello.
