Vance. Boom. Well, hello, Mr. Vice President. How are you? I'm doing pretty good. Things have been weird lately. You ever feel like things are just weird? All the time. What's going on?

Man, I don't even know where to start. This job is fucking me up in the head, dude. Well, I guess, first of all, you know, headline, the big Trump versus Elon Musk dust up. That was not really good. Like, you know, I don't like Elon. I think he's a weirdo who should have just started a cult where people are forced to like him. But him and Trump going at it publicly just looked bad. Yes, it did.

And then must tweets Trump should be impeached and replaced with me. Like, great. Thanks, dude. Now Trump is good to think me and him are like in a conspiracy that puts my shit seriously in danger. Like, Hey, Elon, you grew up during apartheid. You know how to keep me separate from this. Keep me on the other side of the barbed wire here. Dig it. Right.

Anyway, we talked on the phone and sort of hashed it out, but he's back down a little bit. Thank God. I mean, I don't like to be dragged into shit. I like to start shit that way you can control the shit. You know what I mean? Yeah, I suppose so. There's this menswear guy on Twitter.

And apparently he's undocumented. And he was tweeting about the trials and tribulations of that. And some guy said they should deport your ass. And I responded with that gif. That's how I say gif of Jack Nicholson nodding like a maniac, you know. So that made headlines like damn Vance is going to 86 the suit and tie dude. Are you?

Maybe, I don't know, but I mainly like shit posting and that's P O A S T. Although I guess that one would be gestop posting because they were the Nazi police who were in charge of rounding people up and disappearing them. Yes, I know. And, and, and we're doing that now, but everyone thinks it's cool.

Yes, yes, we get it. Everyone's like, yeah, fuck them, kick them out, separate those families. Not everybody. Well, everyone who knows how to spell shit posting thinks it's cool. I can tell you that much, son. I imagine you were right about that one. Anyway, my main job, as I've stated several times on this program, is to make people angry. Sometimes entire nations like China.

So that's my main thing. But between playing referee and then doing the president's job, all I have time for is the shit posting. What do you mean? Well, he doesn't really do anything. He just has meetings where he acts like he's in charge and sits at his desk and glowers at people.

So it's up to me to go talk to Ron Johnson about the big, beautiful bill. I hate calling it that, but I have to instead of the president. So I'm like the errand boy, but for administration defining things. Right. And that is not what I signed up to do. Someone else's job. I tell the same thing to my wife, Usha, when I cook dinner, maybe once a month when she is utterly exhausted.

And then she gets to enjoy a nice dinner of Kraft macaroni and cheese with cut up hot dogs in it. And guess what? She doesn't get so tired anymore. Have you thought about using this strategy with the president? Way ahead of you, the Jimmy Dores shows at Aaron Mate. I messed that up. I def have considered fucking up so bad that he never relies on me again. But I eventually concluded that would be an error.

So I decided on a better tack. What's that? Take Elon's advice and get him impeached and then become president. Really? I'm going to be president anyway, dude. This riot shit is not going to help Gavin Newsom do shit. Might as well cut right to the chase. President Vance. Hell, I might even change my name a fourth time to something cool. Yeah, we'll see about that. Okay. Yeah, dude, we will. We will see.

Anyway, I got to go. I think I want to make Spain mad now. I just do a dart and a map. Spain. I know nothing about it. They seem too laid back to insult. Always napping? Dude, this job is hard. John Adams was right. All right. Later, dude. Boom!

Tulsi Gabbard, the director of national intelligence, recently paid a visit to Hiroshima and Nagasaki, where the U.S. dropped nuclear bombs. And she came back with some reflections on her trip, including a warning about the dangers of nuclear war today. So this is some of what Tulsi Gabbard said.

Recently visited Hiroshima in Japan and stood at the epicenter of a city that remains scarred by the unimaginable horror caused by a single nuclear bomb dropped in 1945, 80 years ago. It's hard for me to find the words to express what I saw, the stories that I heard, the haunting sadness that still remains. This is an experience that will stay with me forever.

This attack obliterated the city, killed over 300,000 people, many dying instantly while others died from severe burns, injuries, radiation sickness and cancer that set in in the following months and years. Nagasaki suffered the same fate. Homes, schools, families, all gone in a flash. The survivors, the hibakusha,

They carried the pain of extreme burns, radiation sickness, and loss for decades. So that's Tulsi Gabbard, you know, talking a bit about what she saw visiting the sites of these U.S. atomic bombings in Japan during the Second World War. She doesn't mention explicitly who carried out these bombings, but we all know it was the U.S. And she's saying that nuclear war is happening.

the worst thing imaginable. And she also in the same video warned about the dangers of nuclear war today. And she doesn't explicitly say why, but it's very clear what she's referring to, which is something she's been very vocal about opposing, which is the U.S. proxy war against Russia and Ukraine, where just recently Ukraine bombed parts of Russia's nuclear arsenal. And so listen to what Tulsi Gabbard has to say about the threats that this is causing to the world today. Yes.

A single nuclear weapon today could kill millions in just minutes. Just one of these nuclear bombs would vaporize everything at its core. People, buildings, life itself. The shockwave would crush structures miles away, killing and maiming countless people. And then comes the fallout. Radioactive poison spreading through the air, water and soil, condemning survivors to agonizing deaths or lifelong suffering.

A nuclear winter could follow with smoke and ash completely blocking the sun, plunging the world into darkness and cold, killing crops and starving. Acid rain would scar the earth, wiping out entire ecosystems. This isn't some made up science fiction story. This is the reality of what's at stake, what we are facing now. Because as we stand here today, closer to the brink of nuclear annihilation than ever before,

Political elite and warmongers are carelessly fomenting fear and tensions between nuclear powers. Perhaps it's because they are confident that they will have access to nuclear shelters for themselves and for their families that regular people won't have access to. So it's up to us, the people, to speak up and demand an end to this madness.

We must reject this path to nuclear war and work toward a world where no one has to live in fear of a nuclear holocaust. That's pretty striking, the Director of National Intelligence issuing a warning about

the threat of a nuclear holocaust in light of the fact that she mentioned there are people out there fueling tensions between the world's top two nuclear powers. Now, she hasn't said it explicitly, but she's very clearly referring to the US led proxy war in Ukraine against Russia, which has recently escalated with Ukraine bombing parts of Russia's nuclear arsenal. These major strategic bombers that Ukraine attacked with drones. So Tulsi Gabbard took it upon herself to issue this warning.

about nuclear war. Well, how are people who support the Ukraine proxy war receiving her warning? They're not happy about it. Now, here, for example, is Ron Filipowski. He says, DNI Tulsi Gabbard repeats Putin's talking points. So warning about the threat of nuclear war and doing so as the top U.S. intelligence official is now repeating Putin's talking points. Here's Malcolm Nance.

People might remember him. He is the former MSNBC analyst who parlayed a vague career as a naval intelligence officer. It's not quite clear exactly what he did, but anyway, he uses that background to constantly fearmonger about Russia. He was a big proponent of the Trump-Russia conspiracy theory. He believed that Donald Trump was being controlled by and blackmailed by Vladimir Putin, and

That's the kind of stuff he believes in. And he says about Tulsi Gabbard, this woman is mentally ill and should be nowhere near America's secrets. We are in danger. So we're not in danger because of the possible threat of nuclear war, according to Malcolm Nance. We're in danger because Tulsi Gabbard is warning about

the threat of nuclear war because we happen to be fighting a proxy war with the world's other top nuclear powers. And for doing that, according to Malcolm Nance, who again was a major Trump-Russia conspiracy theorist, Tulsi Gabbard must be mentally ill. That's Malcolm Nance. Here's Jonah Goldberg, a neoconservative writer. I mean, even if this wasn't hot garbage on the merits, and it is garbage, who thinks the DNI should be spending her time producing and hosting mini docs for social media?

So a neocon who spends a lot of time on social media is mad that the nation's top intelligence official went on social media to warn about the dangers of nuclear war as a result of the proxy war that people like Jonah Goldberg and other neocons support. Here's the group Republicans Against Trump.

In an apparent attempt to stop the U.S. from punishing Russia for rejecting a ceasefire, by which they mean to stop the U.S. from continuing to fuel a disastrous proxy war with Russia, Tulsi Gabbard released a bizarre video warning of a nuclear holocaust and slamming political elite warmongers who are carelessly fomenting fear and tensions between nuclear powers. There's a reason Russian state TV called her our girlfriend Tulsi.

So these people don't care about a proxy war that is escalating the nuclear threat, and they don't want to hear warnings about it from the nation's top intelligence official. Instead, they just want to call her a Russian agent. Here's more from Jewish Insider. Tulsi Gabbard draws friendly fire from Republicans for video warning of nuclear war. Republican Senator John Kennedy said she obviously needs to change her meds.

So people across the spectrum, Democrats and Republicans mocking Tulsi Gabbard for warning about nuclear war. Now, here's the only thing that I think Tulsi Gabbard got wrong. Okay. And this is a

a tweet from Mohammed Safa. He says, he shows a picture of a huge explosion and he says, this is not Hiroshima, this is Gaza. Gaza is nearly three times smaller than Hiroshima and Israel has dropped the equivalent of six atomic bombs on Gaza. And it might not be six atomic bombs, but the point is,

It's certainly more than one, which is just an incredible thing to think about because Gaza, as he points out, is smaller than Hiroshima. And of course, Gaza is a defenseless population, not involved in a world war as Japan was back in World War II.

And Tulsi Gabbard, of course, doesn't mention Gaza because her administration is supporting the bombing of Gaza. And that's the only thing I think that she leaves out here. But look at the pushback she gets simply for being concerned about the possibility of nuclear war. And according to proxy warriors, people who support Russia,

this ongoing disastrous proxy war, anybody who is worried about tensions between top two nuclear powers, especially in the aftermath of this recent Ukrainian attack on Russia's strategic arsenal, must only be doing the work of Vladimir Putin and not genuinely concerned about the fate of the planet. We're going to turn to what's happening in LA and for that I will bring in our first guest.

Joining us now is Jaleesa Dugro. She is an independent journalist reporting from LA for Mint Press News. And let's bring her in, making her Jimmy Dore show debut. Hello, Jaleesa. Hey, Aaron. How are you? Thank you for joining us. So you've been on the ground in LA reporting on what's going on. The dominant theme that we're getting from afar is that LA is in chaos. There's riots.

According to the Trump administration, they had to send in the National Guard backed up by Marines because things are just out of control. What have you seen on the ground in your time reporting there? So, so far, we definitely have. There's a very large presence of the California National Guard as well as the LAPD. They're quite literally everywhere. Every I've seen some, you know, on rooftops, definitely inside of a lot of federal buildings and outside of almost every federal or community building. They're standing there posted up.

you know, ready to take on protesters should they, you know, start protests in front of those buildings. And so as far as the National Guard, I was at a protest yesterday documenting and covering that live. And actually the National Guard didn't, you know, directly get involved. It almost was like they were there for pure intimidation. They also brought in Humvees and those Humvees were positioned towards the crowds. The protest that I was attended, you know, that I attended yesterday was

peaceful, not even fairly peaceful. It was peaceful. You know, nobody was violent. Nothing was thrown, things like that. And I, from what I saw the, the LAPD started shooting first. And so this is what I'm seeing. And so there's, I think a lot can be implied from this. So this is what I'm seeing. The protesters,

There are protests all day. It just varies in size. So in scope and as well as location, we've got them ranging all across L.A. early in the morning, late at night. You have spontaneous protests that arise due to, you know, ice raids or detentions or arrests and things like that. And so that's just kind of what we're seeing right now.

So I'm curious to hear from you what people have been telling you about why they've come out and how they feel about the narrative that the Trump administration has been pushing, which is that they had to send in the National Guard because things were just out of control and because the L.A. police weren't doing their job enough to protect the city from looters and rioters. But I want to turn first to Stephen Miller, who's sort of seen as the architect of Trump's

anti-immigrant crackdown and what he has said. He's actually an LA native, so he claims to take all this very, very personally. He's responding to the governor of California, Gavin Newsom, who said that we didn't have a problem until Trump got involved, by which he means Trump getting involved to basically order the National Guard in to crack down on protests. So Stephen Miller says,

Didn't have a problem. Your state is a criminal sanctuary for millions of illegal alien invaders, cartel killers, foreign terrorists, transnational gangs, and insurrectionist mobs. Huge swaths of the city where I was born now resemble failed third world nations. A ruptured, balconized society of strangers. And according to a recent report in the Wall Street Journal, Stephen Miller is the one who basically...

ordered

immigration officials to increase their crackdown, not just going after actual convicted criminals, but to go after the kind of people who have been targeted in LA, the workers who go to places like Home Depot for work. So this is some of what the Wall Street Journal reported. Even with the high profile arrests of suspects by masked immigration agents and the plane loads of migrants swiftly ferried out of the US, President Trump was falling short of the number of daily deportations

carried out by the Biden administration in its final year. So in late May, Stephen Miller addressed a meeting at the headquarters of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, known as ICE. The message was clear. The president, who promised to deport millions of immigrants living in the country illegally, wasn't pleased. The agency had better step it up.

Gang members and violent criminals, what Trump called the worst of the worst, weren't the sole target of deportations. Federal agents needed to, quote, just go out there and arrest illegal aliens, Miller told top ICE officials who had come from across the U.S., according to people familiar with the meeting.

Agents didn't need to develop target lists of immigrants suspected of being in the U.S. illegally, a longstanding practice, Miller said. Instead, Miller directed them to target Home Depot, where day laborers typically gather for hire, or 7-Eleven convenience stores.

So not even going after like workplaces that are suspected of having people working there illegally, let alone going after like documented criminals who commit, who've committed serious crimes, but it's going after people gather at home Depot or in seven 11. The article goes on Miller bet that he and a handful of agents could go out on the streets of Washington and arrest 30 people right away.

ICE agents appear to follow Miller's tip and conducted an immigration sweep Friday at the Home Depot in the predominantly Latino neighborhood of Westlake in Los Angeles, helping set off a weekend of protests around Los Angeles County, including at the federal detention center in the cities downtown. And that's the following day Trump in order 2000 National Guard troops to Southern California. So according to this narrative from the Wall Street Journal, Miller tells his agents, yeah, don't just go after like serious criminals. Go after criminals.

migrant laborers gather at places like Home Depot or in the parking lots of 7-Eleven. And that's what then kicks off this unrest in L.A. How does that track with what you've heard in your reporting on the streets of L.A.?

Well, first of all, it feels stereotypically racist to only target a Home Depot. Why haven't we rated, I don't know, Targets or Walmarts? So let me make that clear. That's just ridiculous in and of itself. Everything else, you know, I've heard that from law enforcement. When I was detained yesterday, they kind of expressed that same opinion and sentiment to me that aligns with the narrative. Well, explain this, Lisa. So you were covering a protest and you got detained.

I was covering a protest yesterday and I was detained along with other media members and every single protester that did attend that protest. And essentially what they all did over the course of an hour was they slowly kettled us in. We didn't even really realize it until you're blocked on all sides by the LAPD and there are Humvees in your face. And so we were flash banged as well as rubber bullets were ricocheted off the pavement. They eventually did fire at the crowds and things like that.

pepper bombs, if I'm not mistaken, is what they're called, were sprayed. So it made it difficult to to breathe. Your throat is scratchy. You know, you have to sneeze a lot. And so you kind of want to get away from that. So we all had to mask up. Eventually, everybody was sat and we all were detained. And what we were told, we you know, everybody was asking, are you going to arrest us or are you going to let us go? And they said, we're we're going to arrest you for not leaving the vicinity when we've ordered you to leave.

So, you know, then after that, we were all put along a wall. My phone was confiscated. They took all my belongings off of me and cuffed me against the wall. And then it was, you know, really interesting. And I'll get to your question about the wall street journal. Something that was really interesting to me was when I was detained, the only reason they let me go is because I proved to them that I was a journalist. And let me tell you how it was. I didn't have any credential. Like I, they were like, where's your press card? I'm like, I'm,

working with mint press news but you know like i'm an independent journalist you know outside of that so and they were like well just prove it to us what what makes my work and you know think what makes my work in position more verifiable than maybe an activist next to me that's not a journalist but you know does the same you know amount of work in the same in the same scope or in the same area so essentially all i had to do was just prove that i was a journalist

I mean, and the question begs, what if I was a journalist instead of being in front of the camera, I was behind it protesting, you know, would I still be protected as a journalist and not an activist? And so these were questions that I was thinking about as I was released. So I was eventually given back all of my belongings and they separated the media from the protesters. They put the protesters in these buses that they had brought earlier. And my what I was told is that they were shipped off to the jail.

So that's kind of what happened in that. Then they officially blocked that street off and that was South Alameda Street off of Temple at that intersection.

Now, as far as the rhetoric on behalf of the Wall Street Journal, it's really interesting because every single person that I've talked to, and I've even talked to those not involved in protests, and I've asked them, what are you thinking about these protests? Did you suspect at all that on Friday such protests as these would even arise? Did you expect that they would go on this long? And a lot of them anticipate, actually, they told me that it'll go on longer. They say the people of California are very strong and

Every single person, and I mean every single, that's not hyperbolic. Every single person that I've spoken to is baffled at the idea of detaining and arresting

illegal immigrants, people they perceive as illegal immigrants, you know, because they say illegal immigrants, immigrants in general that, you know, have come to California have contributed so much culturally, economically in the workforce to California. The culture is super ingrained. Immigrants have brought so much culture, you know, their food, their businesses to California. And so they say that one protester told me that, you know, immigrants,

immigrants, you know, these immigrants, they, they put our food on our tables. You know, they teach our children. We love their language. We love their music. You know, we love what they bring us, but we don't love them. And so he told me, you know, we're not going to sit by idly and just let them take people off of the street. And that's exactly what they're doing. Yesterday at the protest, actually, um, the LAPD got into a circle really randomly, I'll say charged into the middle of the protests and grabbed one man and then went out.

grabbed one man and took him into the VA center, which he didn't, they didn't read anything off to him. They didn't say why they were detaining him or, you know, what that was about. And in my head, it was just, um, it was a warning to the rest of us that it could be any of us. And so they took him into the VA center. We don't really know what happened to him. Um, so I even took some drives around LA last night. Um, I, you know, drove all across LA to kind of get a feel for the city. And I mean, a lot of it was, you know, restaurants from different cultures, you know, um,

like posters and plays and people with offices and things like that, just from all, you know, all different types of cultures. And so when we think of California, I think it's a beautiful melting pot. And I don't think that Californians in general are willing to sit back and allow this to happen. So, you know, on the terms of fighting for dignity and justice in the,

in a world or in an America that seeks to silence any race is currently what we're going through to be quite frank. These people are actively opposing it. They're actively challenging it. And we see this even in protesters that aren't immigrants. They're not immigrants in America. They're not connected to immigrants. They don't have family that are immigrants, but they say, I'm here for free speech. I'm here because we have a right to protest. I spoke to one man

he was a pastor at the Crescenta Methodist church, uh, here in California. And he said, it's my duty to stand up for the vulnerable. I'm following Jesus's word that I'm here to stand up for the vulnerable, you know, and he's getting detained. Why I thought I had another man that was, uh, an air force veteran for 10 years. He was deployed shortly after nine 11. And he told me, you know, he says, I'm a veteran in America, forgets veterans. America doesn't take care of veterans at all. Um,

And he said, I'm a gay man. So I was under the don't ask, don't tell law. And so I wasn't allowed to speak my truth for a very long time. And so people from all different walks of life, different paths, nationalities, races, religions have come together. They all definitely have one shared purpose, though, no matter if they're immigrant affiliated or not, is that they're actively opposing the injustice and the dismantling of free speech that the United States right now is actively imposing.

Things people love. Ice protests turned violent in downtown L.A. Local officials blame...

So let's take a look at some video from the scene here. So here are protesters. We're a pretty big crowd. Who?

So there you have a large crowd, 10,000 plus. Now, it's always the case with these events, even these events that cannot be fully and fairly categorized as peaceful per se, because there obviously were acts of vandalism and looting and some acts of violence against law enforcement, which we do not condone, obviously. But it's always the case with any of these big protests. I've been to hundreds of them in my life, even ones that get rowdy. Odds are if you just

pinned down on a map appointing the protest, where you are will be fine. They're always mostly peaceful. They're never mostly violent. It's not a riot everywhere you look. So obviously you had 10,000 plus here, a permitted...

They had sound amplification for speakers. And for the most part, it was peaceful, but not entirely, obviously. So let's get to some of the confrontations here. Obviously, you have the police on the march. This is a pretty dystopian scene when you look at the graffiti on the wall in the background. Were they firing tear gas? Well, this is tear gas. Those were rubber bullets.

And obviously you had scenes like this, but like I said, yeah. Not good, believe me, not good. Protests over President Donald Trump's immigration crackdown and the deployment of the National Guard boiled over on the streets of Los Angeles on Sunday as demonstrators blocked the 101 freeway and surface streets, set cars ablaze, and lobbed projectiles at law enforcement.

Police responded with tear gas, rubber bullets and flashbangs to disperse the escalating crowds. So here is an Australian reporter, Lauren Tomasi, a U.S. correspondent for Nine News Australia, was shot at point blank range with a rubber bullet by an LAPD officer while covering the ongoing anti-ice demonstrations in downtown Los Angeles. The saddening of the situation.

The situation has now rapidly deteriorated. The LAPD moving in on horseback, firing rubber bullets at protesters, moving them on through the heart of LA.

That hurts. That officer was since promoted to the IDF. Israel said, who's that guy? We want him.

I like the cut of his Jeep. Exactly. It was the third day of demonstrations against ICE raids in the region as the arrival of around 300 federal troops spurred anger and fear among some residents. Some of the

Sunday's protests in L.A. were centered in several blocks of downtown. Hours after announcing the start of three separate then peaceful protests throughout L.A., LAPD Central Division announced that the city was on tactical alert at 2.30 p.m. as the crowd grew unruly.

The use of less lethal munitions has been authorized, said LAPD. Arrests are being made. In an update just before 3.30 p.m., LAPD said officers encountered demonstrators throwing concrete, bottles, and other objects. Some police patrolled the streets on horseback, while others with riot gear lined up behind guard troops deployed to protect federal facilities, including a detention center where some immigrants were taken in recent days.

Yes, this was the first time the National Guard had been federalized since 1992, which ironically was during the Rodney King race riots in Los Angeles. Newt Gingrich,

Newsom later joined L.A. City, County and California state law enforcement leaders at Unified Command, posting, We're here to keep the peace, not play into Trump's political games on X.

So Waymo vehicles, which are those self-driving taxis, were set on fire in downtown L.A. as protesters and police clashed. And now we're going to see some of it. Oh, right before Elon's about to launch his robo-taxis, the Waymos get lit on fire. Coincidence? I think not. I was going to say, Elon's thinking he got out just at the right time. These could have been Teslas. Like...

Tesla dealerships are totally fine. Totally cool. Imagine Elon were still in the government when these things happened. They would have gone straight to the Tesla dealership. Yeah. Yeah. So he made out good. He made out good. So good for him. As police struggled with another day of unrest in downtown L.A., several Waymo autonomous taxis were set on fire, sending thick plumes of black smoke billowing high into the air.

The dramatic images were captured during an afternoon of clashes between large groups who were protesting immigration raids by the Trump administration and L.A. police who were trying to maintain order. Scanner Pacific says LAPD requesting Waymo shut down the app. People keep calling them and then lighting them on fire. See, that is, you know, that is a problem you don't anticipate when you're thinking about bringing self-driving cars online. There's a person in there. They can be targets online.

for vandalism, of course. Andrew, would you mind making that a little larger, please? Thank you very much. A once great American city, Los Angeles, says Donald Trump, has been invaded and occupied by illegal aliens and criminals. Now violent insurrectionist mobs are swarming and attacking our federal agents to try and stop our deportation operations.

But these lawless riots only strengthen our resolve. I am directing Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and Attorney General Pam Bondi, in coordination with all other relevant departments and agencies, to take all such action necessary to liberate Los Angeles from the migrant invasion, capital letters, and put an end to these migrant riots. Order will be restored, the illegals will be expelled, and Los Angeles will be set free.

And that's the standard sign off now. Thank you for your attention to this matter. So Thomas Yeager.

Wow. Quotes on X, an interview from Tom Holman, and this is where things kind of escalate further. White House borders are Tom Holman said in an interview that California Governor Gavin Newsom and L.A. Mayor Karen Bass could be arrested and prosecuted if they impede federal immigration actions. It's a felony to impede law enforcement from doing their jobs. Now, that is not a direct

order or suggestion to have Governor Newsom arrested, but the press, they like to try and pour gas on the fire, no pun intended in this instance, and try and make a little bit more hay out of this than perhaps they should have. And Donald

Donald Trump, he didn't take the bait, did he? It's not like him to take the bait and escalate. No, he said, don't be ridiculous. He only holds back when Elon accuses him of being in the Epstein files. On that, he's been strangely muted.

Uncharacteristically reserved, one might say. I wonder why. So you have Holman give the quote, if they impede federal immigration actions, it's a felony, saying theoretically there are circumstances under which they might be arrested. And the reporter asked Donald Trump what he thinks. And what do you think Donald Trump says? Let's see if he de-escalates or if he intensifies. Let's see where your money's at, people. He come and arrested us. Did he do it? Don't look.

I would do it if I were Tom. I think it's great. It's a little hard to hear him over the propellers. I hate how they interview the presidents right near the helicopter. Like, can you kill the engine or walk a little far away? It's very unnerving. But here, we'll play it one more time, and then he gets a little closer to the microphone. He'd come and arrest him. Did he do it? I would do it. David likes to propose to me, but I think it would be good.

Gavin likes the publicity, but I think it would be a great thing. I will give him this. After Biden, it's still jarring having a president who talks to the press like five times a day. Oh, yeah, like all day, every day. All day. He's constantly on. Yeah.

I like Gavin Newsom. He's a nice guy, but he's grossly incompetent. I like him. He's a nice guy. It's just he should be arrested and thrown in prison and sodomized. Yeah. Other than that, he's a nice guy. I liked his. I liked the Charlie Kirk thing. That was good. That was good. Sloppy Steve said that. Sloppy Steve. That was good.

I like Gavin Newsom. He's a nice guy, but he's grossly unkind. All you have to do is look at the little railroad he's building. It's about 100 times over budget. We're putting a flagpole over there. Under budget. I always do under budget. It's a nice guy. I like him. I just call him new scum and say he should be thrown in prison.

It's like I've always said, the American system of capitalism doesn't work. It doesn't work. You ever go to Japan? You ever go to China? They got trains everywhere. Here, you can't even build a little train to San Francisco. That's right.

We need a revolution in this country. Under budget. I always do under budget. What does your intel tell you about these people causing all the problems? Are they people ISIS trying to deport or are they professional agitators? The people that are causing the problem are professional agitators. They're insurrectionists. They're bad people. They should be in jail. They're being paid by Palantir, clearly.

Right, exactly. To generate civil unrest to manufacture consent for the police state that we are trying to build. Tell me if I try to stop it, it's going to be Butler only, not ketchup this time. Yeah.

Yeah. So Gavin Newsom says the president of the United States called for the arrest of a sitting governor. This is a sad day. I hoped I would never see you in America. I don't care if you're a Democrat or Republican. This is a line we cannot cross as a nation. This is an unmistakable step towards authoritarianism. OK, so Gavin Newsom was then asked about this on MSNBC, where he, of course, then escalated and essentially, you know, told Tom Homan that,

Come and get me, tough guy. The fear, the horror, the hell is this guy? Come after me, arrest me, let's just get it over with, tough guy. I don't give a damn, but I care about my community, I care about this community. The hell are they doing? These guys need to grow up, they need to stop, and we need to push back. And I'm sorry to be so clear, but that kind of bloviating is exhausting. So Tom, arrest me, let's go.

The perception is there's a lot of, you can find me at the French laundry. I'll be there at six. I'll be there at six. Yes. Happy hour glasses of wine, $300 each from four to six. I've been saving up for it all year. Yeah, right. Exactly. Um, yeah, no, I mean, it's amazing how like this guy still thinks that he's going to be the president someday. Well,

Like, I mean, you know, his record was a liability before the wildfires. And then the wildfires to me was the nail in the coffin. Now this, now this, I mean, there's just no way. Look, I'm against these ice raids. People can disagree with me on that if they want. But it is obvious that...

Newsom insisting he had a handle on the situation was bullshit, just like it was bullshit during the fires. And that is what gives agencies like ICE, which in my opinion should not exist. By the way, ICE is a creation of the Department of Homeland Security agency.

2003. ICE is a construction of the post 9-11 security state, which I thought MAGA was all against, right? I thought they were anti-Neocon. I thought they were against the Patriot Act. I thought they were against all of that surveillance on people. Apparently,

either not many of them are or they don't realize what ice is ice is not a long-standing american institution isis uh is a creation of the post 9-11 security apparatus it is quite orwellian it it is designed uh to bring militarization to the criminal justice process the ins which was the previous agency that handled immigration matters that was uh a um

under the umbrella of the Justice Department. ICE was created along with the Department of Homeland Security, a new department, which kind of sounds like it's right out of 1984, does it not? The Department of Homeland Security? People have gotten used to it now, but that was quite apparent at the time. Right.

Like just using the term homeland invokes dystopian science fiction. Absolutely, yes. So the Department of Homeland Security, absolutely. So yeah, look, so I'm pretty much against all of this. I don't expect everyone to see eye to eye with me on that. But I can also acknowledge reality, which is that the just neglect and incompetence and stupidity of Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass have created a situation where I bet if you polled the country,

Should Donald Trump have sent the National Guard in? I bet a majority of people would say yes, because when people see chaos, they think, well, something has to be done. And if the state can't do it, maybe the feds should step in. Now, of course, the feds having stepped in only made this worse. Last night's rioting was worse than the night prior with the.

troops there. So it's not like they calm things down. They're only going to, of course, make things worse. But the fact remains that this guy's goose is cooked as a political candidate. I don't think there's any chance he gains any traction. I don't even think in the Democratic primary, I don't even think he's going to do very well in that race.

But he announces, nonetheless, we are suing Donald Trump. This is a manufactured crisis. He is creating fear and terror to take over a state militia and violate the U.S. Constitution. The illegal order he signed could allow him to send the military into any state he wishes. Every governor, red or blue, should reject this outrageous overreach. There's a lot of hyperbole out there.

This isn't that this is an unmistakable step towards authoritarianism that threatens the foundation of the Republic. We cannot let it stand. Oh, Hey, look at that. What's up, man? You're in. Am I in? Okay. Hey, how's it going? Just great job. I'm just, um, uh, the kidney's still kicking my ass. Let's you're doing a great job. Keep going with the story. Nice, nice work. Oh, okay. All right. All right. Uh, so here's borders are Tom Holman, uh,

Here to sort of clear the air. Now, to be fair, it was really the reporter who I think deliberately misinterpreted what he originally said and thought, hey, you know what? I can get a great publicity quote out of Donald Trump. What if I asked Trump, hey, should he arrest Newsom? And Trump says yes, which he probably will, knowing who he is. But here is Holman clearing the air on MSNBC. I wonder if this is his MSNBC debut. I bet he was pretty excited to come on MSNBC. I hear you guys are the libs.

I was sitting here to own the libs. Are you wearing the libs? Are you the libs? I got to thank you guys because you created the conditions that put me where I am today. So here's Tom Holman. Rest me. Let's go. That was the governor of California talking to you.

Folks, I'm not biting on that. The NBC reporter that interviewed me is very dishonest. We did a 20-minute interview and he cuts off. He's not biting on that. You know who did bite on that? Your boss bit on that. Donald Trump bit on it. It's funny. He's more disciplined than Donald Trump is. He says, no, I'm not engaging that. Trump was pretty happy to engage that. Let's go. That was the governor of California talking to you.

Look, I'm not biting on that. The NBC reporter that interviewed me is very dishonest. We did a 20-minute interview, and he cuts out a little clip and takes my words out of context. Here's what we said.

And he talked about what I talked about these people that are these protests and writing when they cross the line. They got that. Well, here's why I said they have a right to protest. I said the First Amendment rights, but they can't cross that line. They can't cross that line of impediment. They can't cross that line of putting their hands on officers. They can't cross the line of knowing and concealing. And here we go. And because you're all federal crimes, you're all they're in statute and they will be prosecuted.

When he asked the question, does that include Mayor Bass and Governor Newsom? And I was clear. They have a cross line. But they're not above the law either. If they commit a crime, they certainly would ask for prosecution. That's what was happening. I never threatened to arrest Governor Newsom, so I'm not biting off on that. It's just that reporter's dishonest. And let him play the whole 20-minute interview, and you'll see a whole different discussion that we had.

All right. So he kind of tamps it down. Funny how it falls to a guy like this to, you know, cool, cool the temperature off, cool the temperature off. But those are the times we live in where he is the voice of moderation and reason. So I guess he smoothed things over where no arrest warrant is out for Gavin Newsom at the moment. What's that? Dr. Phil called him. Yeah, Dr. Phil gave him a call and said, hey, that's too much. That's too much. That's too much. Yeah.

Well, you know, Jimmy, I was saying this tends to happen when you leave town. Yeah, what's up with that? And now it's this. Yeah, I mean, I would love to go down there and get shot with a rubber bullet in my kidney. But unfortunately, I'm in Dublin. I just want to make two points. I think you kind of touched on the first one. So people, I don't know if you're going to get more into this, but people...

are taking this at face value, which I think is a mistake, right? So I think two things are happening here. One thing is definitely, as we've reported recently, everybody has reported from you to me to Tim Dillon to Glenn Greenwald to everybody else that Trump is ratcheting up the surveillance state.

And just like Barack Obama was the perfect guy to get the left to go to sleep or the Democratic left to go to sleep when he did Libya, when he did Syria, when he ramped up Afghanistan, and when he ramped up the drone war and killed American citizens without a trial extrajudicially.

because he got those people who the natural opponents to that to go to sleep because he was the person in power doing it and it worked, worked like a charm. The same thing's happening here. The people who thought they voted for the opposite of what Trump is doing with Palantir and their surveillance state and his golden dome is just a cover for their surveillance state. - Exactly, yep. - There are lots of them, not all of them,

But lots of them are being silenced because it's their man doing it. Right. And I've seen I've seen lots of prominent Twitter accounts. I only go on Twitter. I've seen lots of pro Trump Twitter accounts. You know, well, Laura Loomer is one for sure. I don't know. Oh, yeah. We're doing it next. Yeah. OK, so I think that so there's that's happening and the violence that's happening here. It seems to be. And Jimmy, a lot of those accounts are paid.

They're paid, man. We saw this a couple of months ago where they all came out for against the Maha effort against sugar and soda, and it turned out they were all getting paid. Yeah. So why? You think they don't get paid when they back Palantir like that? So I'm pretty sure they are.

Tim Dillon also made a video, which I saw yesterday, saying that if you are not confused by this ramp up of the surveillance state, you are completely compromised.

And he said, I expect a lot more of those people to show up in the coming weeks and months. And they are. The other thing is, I think a lot of the violence that you're seeing there is agent provocateurs. You know, the crazy. So they're being they're leaving out bricks. Are you going to cover all this? Should I shut up and wait for you to get to it? We are covering more of that angle next.

Okay, all right.

And so the same thing's happening here. So it makes me feel like this kind of chaos is what the establishment wants. So it's not, you know, Donald Trump isn't the sole cause of this. The rioters aren't. They all have Mexican flags while they're doing this. It looks like they all bought them at the same store. And

So this you're being played and so we're being played again by this and it's all being ramped up for a purpose. I'm not exactly sure. I know one purpose definitely is so that makes it easier for Trump to ratchet up their surveillance state.

I don't know what the other purpose is, but there's got to be one. And so I just wanted to make that point that we're being played again. If we think that this is what it looks like on the surface, you're a sucker. Yeah, well, you should hang out for the – because we're going to do more of the Palantir angle in this next piece. But broadly speaking, like what I said yesterday on our show was that

You have to remember all this chaos here. They arrested just over 100 undocumented immigrants. That's all. So if you would do this to the city of Los Angeles to get 100 guys, you really think it's about getting those 100 guys? Or do you think it's about doing this? This is the goal. Of course. Trump says there are 20 million illegal immigrants here who they have to kick out. So you're going to turn a city upside down for 100 guys? That math doesn't check out. At that rate, you'd like the whole country on fire to get 1,000 guys.

So it's clearly not about those hundred guys, not about the deportation. The immigrants are the pre for the pretext to build a police state because you can't build a police state without a scapegoat because no one wants to live in an authoritarian surveillance state. So you have to say, well, you might not want it, but you're going to have to sign up for it because there are these scary immigrants here. We have to get out. So you're going to have to give us the power to track them and remove them.

And there you go. And by the time they turn it on you, it's way too late. This big, beautiful bill has forty five billion dollars in new ice jails that they're going to try and get through. It doesn't look like it's going to pass, but I'll bet that passes in the final version of whatever comes out of Congress.

Yeah, and it's also narrative management, because if you look at the common theme in what Stephen Miller is putting out and what Donald Trump is putting out, Los Angeles, a once great city. So who destroyed Los Angeles? And by implication, America, not the corporations, not the oligarchs.

What about all these Midwestern cities that didn't have a large influx of immigration beyond the turn of the century? I was just up in Buffalo. You think you see a lot of Haitians and South Americans, Central Americans going up to Buffalo, but you got the same crumbling infrastructure that you have in cities like Los Angeles and New York. So what do you blame it on there? This is all about

Finding someone to blame so that they don't start actually looking at the ruling class that's been robbing them for decades. Yeah, when I covered the New Hampshire Republican primary, I would ask these people at these country clubs going to Nikki Haley events. What's your number one issue? They say, well, it's the border. Well, it's immigration, right?

I say, this is New Hampshire. I'm the brownest motherfucker here. And you guys are worried about immigration as if it's the number one issue. Exactly. They need, they got to blame somebody. There's got to be some explanation, right? And the explanation they do not want people to arrive at is the correct one. The obvious one themselves, themselves. This is all about, no, no, go get them. That that's the one, that's the one who stole your purse. Meanwhile, they're running away with it.

There's a parade coming to Washington, D.C. It's to celebrate the military. And here's some footage. The footage of a tank that's going to be a part of the celebration that Trump is having in D.C. It coincides with his birthday, but

In Trump's defense, this is not apparently just a birthday celebration. Apparently, there have been plans for a while for a 250th anniversary celebration of the military, which happens to coincide, luckily, for Trump with his birthday. Did they get him a trillion dollars? What was that? Yeah.

they got him a trillion dollar Pentagon budget that's right there it is and so lots of tanks are coming in for the party and Trump though has a warning for anybody who might think about spoiling the parade China China we're China now China

They're going to be met with very big force. And I haven't even heard about a protest. But, you know, this is people that hate our country. But they will be met with very heavy force. Thank you very much, everybody. So this is hilarious. He doesn't say, first of all,

violent protests will be met with heavy force. He just says protests will be hit with heavy force. And then he says, well, the funniest part is he, then he says he hasn't even heard of any protests, but just in case he wants to issue a warning, let's hear that one more time. You're going to be met with very big force. And I haven't even heard about a protest, but you know, this is a people that hate our country, but they will be met. This is the setup of animal house. This is like animal house.

Don't ruin my parade. There will be protests. There's protests going on across the country, which Trump claims he hasn't heard of. Yeah, well, because they don't matter and they will affect nothing. And you have no, your vote doesn't matter. And it's going to happen whether you want it or not. Get used to it. That's America. Here's the White House press secretary, Carolyn Leavitt, being asked about Trump's vow to meet protests with overwhelming force. The president warned that any protests

PROTESTS ON SATURDAY WOULD BE MET WITH FORCE. CAN YOU CLARIFY WHAT KIND OF PROTESTS PRESIDENT TRUMP DOES SUPPORT OR FIND ACCEPTABLE? PRESIDENT ABSOLUTELY SUPPORTS PEACEFUL PROTESTS. HE SUPPORTS THE FIRST AMENDMENT. HE SUPPORTS THE RIGHT OF AMERICANS TO MAKE THEIR VOICES HEARD. HE DOES NOT SUPPORT VIOLENCE OF ANY KIND. HE DOES NOT SUPPORT ASSAULTING LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS WHO ARE SIMPLY TRYING TO DO THEIR JOB.

It's very clear for the president what he supports and what he does not. Unfortunately for Democrats, that line has not been made clear and they've allowed this unrest and this violence to continue and the president has had to step in. One question, so if there were peaceful protests on Saturday for the guillotine parade, President Trump would allow that? Of course the president supports peaceful protests. What a stupid question. Raquel. Okay, well, he didn't make it clear when he warned about heavy force. He just said protests will be met with heavy force. So I think it's a fair question to ask.

Yeah, it is a fair question. But I mean, remember BLM when he didn't roll out any of this for the violent, the fiery, but peaceful protests? I bet he's got a bad taste in his mouth from that because from that fake ass thing that every chump liberal went for, right? People gave money and put a black square on their Instagram. This one, if somebody is protesting about ICE at this, I really, I don't think you're for real.

Or you're illegal and you should get kicked out. The ICE thing seems so manufactured to bring about palantir control to me. Like, who is advocating that the actual agency of ICE shouldn't do its job? And they're really doing that for real and they're not an NGO. Like, who would be doing that? Well, a lot of people don't want ICE raiding immigrant communities and cracking down on people who are just trying to, like, you know, go to work and aren't committing crimes.

serious crimes. I mean, not everyone supports that. The crime is coming in illegally. Get out. It's illegal. Well, a lot of people... Driving the labor down. All right. Well, this gets into the whole debate. I mean, a lot of people have no other... feel like they have no other choice because they're in their home countries...

They face persecution and there's no opportunity. So they come here, you know, like many people have. But listen, someone who's not happy about Trump's military parade is Rand Paul, who thinks it's it costs way too much money. That gauche parade that's going to take place. Some Democrats are saying it's a waste of money. Yeah.

Never been a big fan of goose-stepping soldiers in big tanks and missiles rolling down the street. So if you ask me, I wouldn't have done it. I'm not sure what the actual expense of it is, but I'm not really... You know, we were always different than, you know, the images you saw of the Soviet Union and North Korea. We were proud not to be that. And I don't... I'm not proposing that that's the image people want to project, but I'm worried about the image, that it isn't necessarily the best image to show.

Yeah. Well, that's a good point for Mayor Paul there. I'm not saying that Trump wants to be a fascist, but that's the image he's projecting by having a giant military parade. Costing a lot of money, by the way, which Trump, in his defense, does say is not going to be paid for by the taxpayers. But we'll see about that. It's not? Who's it paid for by? Is Israel paying for something one time? Israel should be paying for it. Although if Israel pays for it. They're picking up the check for a parade. Yeah.

Yeah, if Israel is paying for it, that means we're paying for it, though, ultimately. But Trump actually says that he'll be paying for some of the cost, which I'll believe when I see. Weird. Oh, that's weird. Also, I no longer believe he's in control of the country. And I'm pretty sure ever since the guy when the MS-13 tattoo where the guy just got fired off ABC was like, no, that's not on his knuckles. And Trump thought the actual MS-13 pointing at the symbols was written on the knuckles. That was a very frightening thing.

Then I watched Steve Miller lie to his face about the Supreme Court decision on camera. He goes, we won that decision, nine to nothing. No, they lost nine to nothing. Right, Steve? Steve goes, yeah, that's right, Chief. Like, he's on control. Let's face facts that this is all fake. Hey, become a premium member. Go to JimmyDoreComedy.com. Sign up.
