I saw a meme saying that Netanyahu said he had to preemptively bomb Iran so he could avoid a war he just started. And so everybody, everybody sees what's going on. They're bombing hospitals. They're bombing refugee camps. They're targeting children. Snipers are shooting them in the head. Uh, and,
Left and right, they're doing this. They're occupying terror. Everything they're doing is against international law. Everything Israel's doing is against international law. And then as soon as somebody hits back at them, they cry victim. Guys, did you know it's not okay to bomb hospitals again? Yes. Hey.
Who knew? We're back. We're back, everybody. So in case you're just joining us, this is the Jimmy Dore Show. I'm your guest host, Misty Winston. Jimmy is back from his trip, so he is joining us. But we're going to talk now about how it's not okay to bomb hospitals anymore. It's funny how that just kind of flips whenever it's convenient, right? So here's from BBC, Israeli hospital hit by Iranian missile strike. A hospital in the Israeli town of Beersheba.
has been hit as Iran fired a barrage of missiles at the country with the conflict between the two nations continuing into a seventh day. Iran said it had targeted a military site close to the Soroka Hospital. And I'm sorry if I'm butchering these. It's very possible. Not the facility itself. Israel said 271 people were injured in strikes reported across the country. Meanwhile, Israel's military said it had targeted Iran's nuclear sites, including the quote unquote inactive Iraq
heavy water reactor in Nantaz facility. Israel said at least 24 people had been killed in the country since the start of the conflict. Iranian state media last updated its death toll on 15 June when it said 224 people had been killed.
The Human Rights Activist News Agency, a Washington-based human rights organization that has long tracked Iran, said that 639 people have been killed in Iran since Friday. Israel's deputy foreign affairs minister said Iran's hit on the Sirocco hospital on Thursday was, quote unquote, deliberate and, quote unquote, criminal.
Hmm. Interesting. Uh, in a post on X, Shereen Haskell said that the site was the main medical center for Israel's entire Negev region. Uh, Israel prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel would quote exact the full price from the tyrants in Tehran. This guy, uh, Israel also threatened Iran's Supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, uh,
with Defense Minister Israel Katz saying that Khomeini can no longer be allowed to exist, which is an insane statement to make. Katz told reporters Khomeini openly declares that he wants Israel destroyed. He personally gives the order to fire on hospitals. So just to put things in perspective,
Israel bombed 36 hospitals in Gaza. I think it's maybe more than that. Pretty much all of the hospitals in Gaza. I think all of the hospitals in Gaza have been heavily damaged or destroyed. Israel bombed 40 hospitals in Lebanon. And just this week, Israel bombed three hospitals in Iran.
But they don't like it when theirs are bombed, apparently, Jimmy. So, yeah, rules for thee, but not for ye, I guess. Is that what you're saying? Is that how it goes? Rules for thee and not for me or something? I don't know. Yeah. So, again, you see that Zionism and the defense of Israel's actions is based on the supreme authority.
Double standards, hypocrisy and lies. And so it did this. I think this story may be more than any other reveals the bankruptcy of the rationale for Israel bombing Israel.
uh, Gaza, the host, every hospital in Gaza. Uh, did you say, did you say 40 hospitals in Lebanon? Uh, yes. Let me pull that back up for you. And of course they've, uh, bombed, uh, hospitals in Iran. So this, this is what's called a cry bully. These, these are the most disgusting types of people, the most disgusting, the types of arguments, uh,
and uh you know they should be rejected out and and so i mean it again i i guess there's a silver lining here because everyone sees what's going on you yes you have to be some kind of a super mental defective to not be able to see exactly what's happening and so it's like you know it's like uh it's like the preemptive war it's like uh i saw a meme saying that the uh
Netanyahu said he had to preemptively bomb Iran so he could avoid a war he just started. And so everybody, everybody sees what's going on. They're bombing hospitals. They're bombing refugee camps. They're targeting children. Snipers are shooting them in the head. Uh,
Left and right, they're doing this. They're occupying terror. Everything they're doing is against international law. Everything Israel's doing is against international law. And then as soon as somebody hits back at them, they cry victim.
It's very stomach churning, to say the least. It's stomach churning. And, you know, again, if there was a way you could wreck their credibility, I can't think of a better way than to do what they're doing right now.
And that's what I kind of love about this. And it's not just this, the hospital situation or whatever. It's been over the course of this ever since October 7th. I mean, the way that they lied repeatedly about 40 beheaded babies and all of the human shields. And when in fact, we've now, it's now been revealed that they use human shields and they are, they're,
I don't know that there's anybody more gifted at accusing others of that which they are guilty of than Zionists, because that is what they've been doing this whole time. And I think what you just said, it's so important. People are now, because of social media, we are able to be shown that in real time. And I think that that has done such an amazing amount of opening of eyes that, frankly, I think that there is no going back now. I think that there...
don't know if it'll be enough to save the people of palestine obviously
So many are already dead. I don't know if it'll be enough to save Gaza, but I just don't think that there's any way that the Zionist project is going to be able to recover from this. They've been exposed so many times. We have a couple more tweets here. Europe is about to condemn Iran for bombing a military base next to a hospital. But when Israel did it, they were all for it. And the German FM said, we will not be ashamed to target civilians in hospitals as long as it ensures Israel's security. That's a wild statement to make. Wow.
Wow. That is a wild statement. That's a wild statement. Max Blumenthal tweeted out, I don't know if you have this in the chamber. I don't think so. Israel's Channel 13 announced that, quote, the war cabinet, Israeli's war cabinet, will have a meeting tonight and it will take place in the new IDF fortified headquarters. And where is the IDF fortified headquarters? In a hospital. It's underneath a hospital.
Of course, that is safe from Iranian missiles after defense ministry was struck last night, which is no longer safe. The Ichlava hospital is a military base. And so Max Blumenthal retweeted it, saying Israel's terror chiefs have been hiding in a tunnel built beneath a hospital.
That's the exact thing that Israel had been screaming that Hamas had done, which is why they flattened and bombed and killed every hospital inside Gaza. And of course, every accusation they make is a confession. That's of course, that's what Israel's doing. And it's all again,
it's horrible but it there's still there's silver lining is that they're so bad at this now that they've just been so used to getting away with just complete lies like that video we showed of Benjamin Netanyahu saying Iran's two weeks away from getting a nuclear bomb he's been saying that since 1996
And so they've just been so used to be able to lie with impunity because not enough people were paying attention. But now people are paying attention because this is a genocide that's been live streamed in real time. And we're on the brink of a world war, right? And a lot of people say it's already started. And so now all eyes are on the Israeli lies and they're being exposed for just the most disgusting...
double standard, cry bully, liars, wars of aggression, a murderous regime that there possibly could be.
And so that's the one silver lining is that not only people in the United States, but people all over the world now, they have no sympathy for Israel. Israel used to have the world's sympathy. It's gone and they've wrecked it. And so and the big reason, one of the big reasons why Netanyahu is doing all this is because if he wasn't at war like this, he'd be going to prison because that's one thing is.
One thing Israeli's government does is they put their corrupt leaders in prison and he's corrupt and they know it. And he would be in prison if there wasn't wars happening right now. And so that's another thing people are seeing.
Yeah. And I think that that's caused a lot of people to ask a lot of questions surrounding October 7th and the whole situation. And I think that that's, those are justifiable questions. Everybody should be willing to ask. Here's another one. When Israel bombed the first hospital in Gaza, the world wouldn't believe it. And Israel blamed a misfired rocket from Hamas. And that's what they've every time they, uh, and they, in the past, they've been pretty good at this. Anytime something would happen, they, uh,
they used to be very good at managing the narrative. But again, I think that with social media and with people being able to report on this stuff in real time and debunk it within an hour of the, the lies coming out, I think that that's really changed the game. And frankly, they've just really overplayed their hand a hundred percent and they have overestimated. Yes. Oh,
they've overestimated their ability to control the narrative this time around. So here's Jonathan cook shocking and Israeli hospital has been hit, but hang on a minute where Israeli soldiers being treated there or police officers or government officials that should be fine then wasn't it Israel that created the
hospitals are legitimate targets for attack. And that's a great point. Israel created that precedent that if there is one person that they claim to be Hamas in a building, then it's okay to take out that entire building, regardless of any kind of collateral damage or civilian casualties that might occur from that.
So they've created that precedent, not saying I want hospitals to be bombed. That's terrible. But the fact that Israel is trying to now pretend as if they're some kind of victim on this is just astonishing. So they've been such a murderous genocidal regime.
especially, especially way before October 7th, but especially since October 7th and the world has seen what's actually happening and all the lies that they have to tell to, to maintain Zionism and their, uh, the greater Israel project is, is that, um,
It's all over for them now. I really don't think there's any recovery. So they've gotten it's got they're so bad. Their cry bullying is so stomach churning that they've turned people who are 100 percent anti-war no matter what to actually cheer on the bombing of Tel Aviv. That's.
That's how bad people who are against war, no matter what, are saying that they're now publicly admitting that they feel they're cheering on the bombing of Tel Aviv. That's happening. I've seen it happen on social media. That's how bad it's gotten. Yeah. And I don't know.
find necessarily cheering but it does feel a little bit like watching a bully finally get popped in the nose you know what i mean like that's what it feels like i don't i don't necessarily feel good about i don't i mean civilian casualties suck period regardless but watching israel finally get a dose of its own medicine
I mean, it's a little bit like vindication. You know what I mean? Like that sounds like a terrible thing. And I hate to say it like say it out loud, but I'm just being honest. That's a little bit how I felt. You just described. I felt a little bit of that. Like, yeah. So you know what I mean? Yeah. So it's so let's let's show. Go ahead. Show with Caitlin Johnstone. Yeah. So this is Caitlin's tweet where we basically already covered this, where Israel Katz said that the supreme leader can no longer exist.
Here's another one where, did you know Israel has bombed no less than three hospitals in Iran this week? We've already covered that. Direct hits, not blowback like today because the attack in Iran was not a direct attack on a hospital. There was a...
or I'm sorry, in Israel, um, was not an attack on a direct attack on a hospital is the building beside of it because they like to hide their military bases, um, you know, behind human shields. Yes. Uh, yeah. So, uh, Soroka is Israel's main hospital to evacuate IDF troops. It probably displays this military helicopter poster with the caption Israel's medical iron dome by Israel's own rule, own rules.
rules of engagement in Gaza bombing a hospital to kill a wounded journalist, something they did. Soroka is a legitimate target. Insane, isn't it? Then why did you stay silent when Israel bombed every single hospital in Gaza? And that's the point is exposing that level of hypocrisy.
uh the bbc has an entire live blog this morning dedicated to verifying coverage of the israeli hospital damage in an iranian state israel systematically destroyed gaza's health care system 94 of hospitals damaged or destroyed sorry but where were their live blogs and that's what's interesting is that the media suddenly has discovered how to cover this again
Here's Caitlin again. Israel bombed an Iranian hospital just the other day. But if you do a search for it on Google right now, you'll only get news reports about Iran bombing an Israeli hospital. It's always interesting to see how the propaganda plays out.
And you can take a look here at the this is always fun to do if you go and look at the way Israelis are Killed Palestinians die. Yes. It's very different how they cover those two situations So it's always fun to that disparity and then this is just an article from Caitlin Johnstone who I adore She does some of the best writing and it's called bombing hospitals is bad again. I
Israel and its Western allies are crying and rendering their garments about an Israeli hospital that was damaged in an Iranian missile strike. Western media outlets like the BBC and New York Times have suddenly remembered how to write headlines which assign blame to the attacker after deciding the hospital's getting bombed is a newsworthy event again. The Iranian attack didn't even kill anybody and the damage to the hospital was reported to
Recordedly the result of a shockwave from a strike on a nearby Israeli military facility. That's right, the Israeli military was using the hospital for human shields. As always, every accusation is a confession. Israel, as we all know, bombs hospitals constantly. Israel bombed an Iranian hospital just the other day to almost no coverage from the Western press.
Israel has attacked healthcare workers and healthcare facilities in Gaza around 700 times according to the World Health Organization, and the IDF has repeatedly been documented entering the hospitals it attacks to destroy individual pieces of medical equipment. Israel, unlike Iran, is deliberately targeting healthcare facilities to make Gaza unlivable. Israel Defense Minister Israel Katz is now saying that because of the hospital strike, Iranian Ayatollah Ali Khamenei cannot continue to exist.
Knowing what we know about Israel's track record, saying that people who bomb hospitals should not be allowed to exist can only be interpreted as an extremely anti-Semitic statement. I love her snark. She includes a tweet here about the BBC headlines. And then she just continues that the only way that the U.S. wins a war with Iran easily, quickly and without massive losses is if it uses a nuclear weapon. This fact combined with that.
Huckabee Post comparing Trump to Truman in 1945 and Trump's evacuate to Iran and unconditional surrender statements makes me nervous. And the Americans are reportedly discussing using nuclear weapons on Iran already. And then she continues, it's just basically just continuing to point out the hypocrisy. But I mean, it is interesting though, that suddenly the mainstream press in the West has rediscovered their ability to report on these things. Yeah.
For two years now, Palestinians have been getting bombed. Someone say, you know, if the Jews control the media, how come they're so anti-Israel? I actually saw someone read that out. As if they're not 100% pro-Israel in the media in the United States, which they are. Just like this story reveals a hundredfold that they don't know how to report on
hospitals when they're bombed by Israel, but they figure out how to do it when anybody else bombs it. And when someone else, when Israel kills somebody, those people die. But when someone kills an Israeli, they were killed. So, yeah. So, you know, but you have to understand the media in the United States, those people are preselected.
Right. To be to be the you know, the Chris Cuomo's, the morons, the Fredos of the country and end up in the media. That's how that happens. You know, it's not you don't get to be on TV or work in the U.S. media if you don't if you say, yeah, I want to tell the truth about Zionism in Israel. You're you're you're already prescreened. You'll never get.
to a job interview at a corporate news outlet. That's over. Right. So that's how that works. But again, the silver lining is that everyone sees the disgusting animals that you have to be to prop up Zionism at this point and the state of Israel. 100%. But it is encouraging that people are starting to wake up to it. ♪

This is going to be an interesting one. So Trump calls for special prosecutor to investigate 2020 election quote, Biden was grossly incompetent and the 2020 election was a total fraud. He added, um, I think we can all agree that Biden is grossly incompetent. Uh, and this is from just the news. If anybody wants to go check this out, president Donald Trump on Friday called for a special prosecutor to investigate election fraud in the 2020 presidential election. Um, and then this is here from Donald Trump, uh,
Zero border crossings for the month.
for the month for Trump versus 60,000 for sleepy crooked Joe Biden, a man who lost the 2020 presidential election by a landslide. Biden was grossly incompetent and the 2020 election was a total fraud. The evidence is massive and overwhelming. A special prosecutor must be appointed. This cannot be allowed to happen again in the United States of America. Let the work begin. What this crooked man and his corrupt cronies have done to our country in four years is grossly indescribable. Make America great again.
His tweets are always very difficult to read the way that he types them out. Trump's call for a special prosecutor comes in the wake of reports from the FBI that China had conspired to mass produce fake driver's licenses to carry out a massive fake ballot scheme in the 2020 election. Officials told Just the News that U.S. Customs and Border Protection had captured nearly 20,000 fake driver's licenses in July of 2020.
Those revelations have called into question the assertions from former FBI Director Christopher Wray that he knew of no foreign interference plots ahead of the election. They have further reignited Trump's own claims of large scale election fraud in 2020 that he has said affected the results. So what do you think about this, Jimmy Dore? We're going to get a special prosecutor.
I didn't. So if that if that was reported in July of 2020, how come that didn't how come nobody knows about it? How come? How come we're just finding out about it now? And I remember. So one thing I've learned from doing my show is that when you're not allowed to question something, there is some dark fuckery happening. OK, and so 9-11, you're not allowed to question. We now know it was a lie, at least about Building 7.
And you can't, and you can't trust your line. So, so that was, there's a lot going on in 9-11 that will never be told about or that were lied to about. You weren't allowed to question Seth Rich.
Now we know that the FBI doesn't want to release his laptop for 65 years. So again, so you got that and that. You weren't allowed to question the selection. You weren't allowed to question the vaccine and you weren't allowed to question the COVID narrative. And we found out through COVID that you were lied about everything. They lied about lockdowns. They lied about the virus, where it came from. They lied about funding the invention of it. They lied about
herd immunity natural immunity they lied about um testing for side effects they lied they lied about there wasn't a thing they didn't lie about when it came to covid but you weren't allowed to question it same thing with uh with this the 2020 election they kicked i remember when they kicked the hill that showed the rising they kicked them off the air for a youtube did for a week
Because they just, they played a video of Donald Trump. I believe what they, their infraction was they played a video of Donald Trump questioning the outcome of the 2020 election. You weren't allowed to question. That's the first time in my lifetime you weren't allowed to question election. The Democrats question every election in my lifetime. It's,
including 2016. They screamed about it for four straight years at the top of their lungs, saying it was stolen by Russia. Hillary Clinton said that. Joe Biden said that. Jimmy Carter said it. And every news person said it at the top of their lungs. But then you weren't allowed to question 2020's election. So that's when I knew there was something to do. So there's something there. So if you go by my metrics, there's something there.
I don't know what is there. Maybe it is this China thing. We now know that Joe Biden was lying. Him and Hunter were taking millions of dollars from China. So anyway, I bet there's something there and I hope they find out what it was.
Yeah, I mean, listen, I think all of our elections are garbage. I mean, the Jimmy Carter Center has said numerous times that we rank dead last amongst Western democracies for election integrity. I think our elections are a joke. They always are a joke. To what extent and to who's involved and how corrupt is it and what, like all of that stuff, I think is up for debate. But I think that there's no question our elections are garbage. And I honestly think that January 6th was very much intended to set a precedent that you cannot question
question or protest an election. They wanted to scare people. They don't want you to get into the streets after an election ever again. And I think that that's what the whole thing was really set up for was so that people would now be afraid moving forward to ever, ever, ever get in the streets on that level or to question on that level an election ever again. And I think that that's
And the secondary purpose or maybe the primary one, but I agree with what you're saying. The one other purpose was that they tried to what they did to Bolsonaro. So in Brazil, if you don't know the same thing, they tried to pin the quote unquote insurrection on Donald Trump, which would then make him ineligible to be able to be on a ballot. But they couldn't. They couldn't do that because he didn't do that. He didn't incite.
And but they did it to Bolsonaro in Brazil. It was the exact same playbook. And they charged him with trying to overthrow the government and inciting that. And so now he can't run for president. They tried to do that to Donald Trump, but it didn't work because Donald Trump didn't play along. And so those are the those are the two purposes of January 6th. Yeah. So, yeah.
It then this again, and that's the you know, I just go back to my interview I did with Cornel West, who was a hero of mine. And when he came on and he kept calling Donald Trump a fascist, but he wouldn't call Joe Biden a fascist. And he kept pretending he kept pretending that if Donald Trump got elected, that fascism would then come to America as if he wasn't living under it. Again, he was completely out of touch.
There's nothing more fascist than the government mandating you take an experimental medical treatment. That's that is Nazi stuff right there. And they did it. And apparently he didn't care about that. And January 6th and all the lawfare that they did to try to criminalize that said the exact thing they were accusing Donald Trump of doing using, he was going to, uh,
sick the justice department on his political enemies they were currently doing that and it was obvious to everybody and if you can't stand up for donald trump when he's uh being prosecuted politically uh motivated prosecutions against him which is exactly what those were then nobody's going to stand up for cornell west nobody's going to stand up for jill stein nobody you have to stand up for the people you don't like it's on principle just like free speech
You have to stand up for the speech you don't like on principle or else there's going to be nobody around to stand up for you. And that was a big letdown to me when I had Cornel West on the show because he was not only out of touch 100% with COVID, 40% of black-owned businesses shut down during COVID.
Didn't care. I never heard a peep about him screaming about that or about the workers or about their rights or about any of that stuff. And he didn't scream about the Justice Department going after a political enemy of the administration, which is exactly what they would do to him if he ever became a threat. And so the fact that a dumb jagoff like me has to explain that to a Harvard professor was demoralizing almost to me. It really crushed me. But anyway, here we are. And yeah, so...
Let's see what happened. I cannot wait to see what happened with the 2020 election. I know there was something happening because you weren't allowed to question it.
Yeah, I'm not sure we'll ever find out, though, to be honest with you. And this the timing of this is also a little weird to me because we know that Trump is under a lot of fire, in particular from his base over the whole Israel Iran thing. So is he doing this now just to kind of flick some crumbs, like give them a little bit of catnip over here so that they lay off of him over here? That's also possible. I'm not sure we'll ever know.
I mean, as you said earlier, we're never going to know about 9-11. We're never going to know the real truth about COVID. We're never going to know the real truth about really anything. I mean, it is, it's, uh,
This is the kind of stuff that they do all the time. It's really just they want us chasing our tails and they want us kind of distracted away from anything that's important. So I'm not sure we'll ever get any answers. But I mean, listen, I would love to actually get a special prosecutor, a real one, like a non-biased objective perspective. But I don't think we're ever going to get that, unfortunately. But we'll see. I mean, it's it's just been announced.
So there's really no way for us to judge how that's going to go until we get through it. So I am a little suspicious. You know, Russell Dobular used to make the point that if Donald Trump is elected president, he has to rethink everything he thinks about the CIA. And I point taken, you know, because now after he's been elected, it may I don't think we actually do have to rethink it because it seems like
He was he was he's not working against the deep state. He's working with them when it comes to Jeffrey Epstein and the lies that the FBI is now telling the same lies that Joe Biden told. Oh, there's nothing nothing to see here. He killed himself. All that stuff right after years and years of the same people screaming that
And then so now that looks like Donald Trump is trying to figure he's bombing Yemen after he criticized bombing Yemen five minutes before he became president. Right. So and then he's it looks like he's going to back up Israel with he looked this two weeks thing is very scary.
It's very suspect. It looks like, is he giving them enough time to do a false flag in America? Is that what this is all about? So it looks like he got on board with the deep state. It doesn't look like Donald Trump is actually fighting the deep state. And so, yeah, maybe you're right. I think, you know, when you mention it, this is probably just a distraction. Yeah, I think that's very likely. And unfortunately, really, if we're just being honest with ourselves, nobody who's actually going to fight the deep state will ever be allowed to become president.
Not once, certainly not twice. And the fact that he closed that investigation into the Butler assassination attempt is super suspect. So again, that was like, oh, so he's not working against the deep state. He's working with them. So that makes me feel like, well, what is the real story about Butler? There's more to it than meets the eye. If Donald Trump doesn't want to know about, if you really want me to think that this was a Lee Harvey Oswald situation, that's just not the case.
So, yeah, so it's all very suspect. And Donald Trump seems to be working with the deep state and not against them. That's all. It's unfortunate. It's really. I know a lot of his supporters really had hope that he was going to be that guy. He's not. Yeah, I know you did. I didn't have as I told Chris Hedges, I don't have faith, but I have hope.
Yeah. I think it's hard to not, you want people, I'm, um, a cynic. I get called out for it a lot. I'm, people say I'm a black pillar and I, I think that that's probably a little bit true. Um, obviously I wouldn't do what I do. I wouldn't have done what I did for all the years I did for Assange. If I didn't have a tiny bit of hope in my otherwise cold, dead heart. Um,
But it's difficult to look around and see the way that things have been playing out and not be very cynical. So I had zero hope for Donald Trump, but I know that a lot of people did. And I get it. Like, I understand we're in looking around and watching the way that things are playing out, watching the chaos that's unfolding around us, watching a genocide being live streamed to us every single day for nearly two years now. It's a lot. And I think everybody really wishes that there was somebody who was coming to save us, but there just isn't.
We're going to have to save ourselves, I think. So I think that that's really what we need to wrap our heads around. And we really we need to stop letting them divide us because we need each other. We all have a common enemy. We certainly do. And we really do. And it's the people who actually run the country. Yeah. And the system that's designed to kill us all. I mean, we need to we need to come. We can have our differences of opinion. We can argue. We can have those debates. That's all fine. Well and good. There's issues that we need to have.
of very nuanced conversations about, but we can't even begin to deal with that stuff until we deal with the system that's designed to kill us all. So that's, uh, I really wish that people would stop letting them divide us in that way, uh, so that we can come together and figure out how the hell we fix this thing. If it's even possible, we may be well beyond, uh, the point of no return. So, you know, I have lots of, uh,
MAGA come out to my shows. I have lots of those same type of people in the UK and Ireland that came out and they're not on board for certainly not on board for Israel or Zionism or for crackdowns on free speech. They're not for any of that stuff. So it's a it's a I feel like it's a sliver of his his base. It's not his base. It's a sliver of it.
I agree. I 100% agree. And especially we've seen recently a lot of right wing influencer types. And we're going to talk about that a little bit later. But he's really starting to get some pushback. I'm not sure to what end. I don't think I'm not sure that he really cares at all about what his base wants or thinks.
but we are at least seeing them push back, which, I mean, if we're just being objectively fair here, that's more than you can say for most liberals. Most liberals do not care. Never push back. The tan suit, Jimmy. Just a tan suit. That's the only... That's the only thing. Yeah, they won't even... I live in Los Angeles. They won't even criticize...
The government, when they let the city burn down and there's no water in the fire hydrants and they drain a reservoir right above Pacific Palisades before the fire season. They have no criticism whatsoever. None of them, even from comedians. They're like, well, there's nothing they could do. So, yeah, again, there's way more pushback from MAGA than I've ever seen, at least in the last 15 years, from Democrats.
For sure. There's no question about that, which is, I mean, just depressing on every level, but it is what it is. And I mean, just to give that contingent of the MAGA crowd credit, we are starting to see them, many of them. It's not just...
a handful here and there. I'm seeing it pretty extensively across social media. So, I mean, that's great. I'm glad that they aren't, because they get a lot of crap for being a cult. And I do think that there is that contingent that's very cultish. But there, there is some pushback, which as we said, is more than we can say for some. I mean, look at, look at Marjorie Taylor green, look at Matt Gates, look at Tucker Carlson, look at Steve Bannon. They're all pushing back. Candace Owens, Dave Smith. That's right. There's a bunch of them. Big name people who, who,
I mean, Dave Smith went on breaking points and actually apologized for ever supporting Donald Trump and for encouraging other people to vote for him. So I don't think I've ever seen a liberal do that. No, no, ever. So we were left with Pramila Jayapal giving an AOC. Didn't they give Joe Biden an A plus? Yes. After he crushed a union strike and after they used their leverage for to to get a vote on Medicare, they wouldn't use leverage for anything.
So, yeah, they're they're worse than worthless. Yes, that's right. So so tip of the hat to the people in MAGA who are sticking to their principles. Yeah, for sure. And I think Pramila Jayapal actually even came out and said that fighting for Medicare for all are fighting for force. The vote would kill the movement. Yeah. On her own bill. Fighting for something you want. Yeah. If you fight for the bill that I wrote, that will hurt it.
They're just charlatans. Yes, it's fascinating. And we have some breaking news, right? We do. We do have some very breaking news right now, just maybe about an hour ago or so. Judge orders release of Mahmoud Khalil from ICE detention. This is very interesting. It says a federal judge in New Jersey has ordered the release of Mahmoud Khalil, a pro-Palestinian activist and Columbia University graduate from immigration detention where he has been held since March due to his involvement in campus protests.
Khalil has not been charged with any crime, leading to debates over free speech versus national security. The ruling has elicited a broad spectrum of public opinion reflecting the ongoing tension between these two core values. What do you think about this, J.D.? So this is not what anybody who voted for Donald Trump thought they were voting for. They thought that they were voting for...
an immigration border crackdown and to deport illegal people who are here illegally and who are criminals. They wanted to start with people who are illegal criminals, which is what Donald Trump campaigned on. And instead, he went to the people who nobody wants deported, people who are here doing the right thing, following the rules.
adding to our culture, being brilliant students and speaking out. And so what he's doing is punishing people for speech. So when he got inaugurated, he started off with the saying, the era of free speech is here.
And of course, he meant he was getting rid of the censorship that came along from the left censorship about covid and censorship about protected classes of of different races and the LGBTQ and trans and all that and calling everything racism and sexism.
which was a positive, in a lot of ways, was a positive. But he just replaced it with this new subset of a protected class of people, which he says are Jewish people. But it's not, because most of the Jews I know are not on board for what he's doing. They're not on board for his allegiance to Israel. They're not on board with the slaughter of children in Gaza. And they're not on board with the
Zionism. So really it's a protected class of a certain group of Jews, which are Zionists. And, and so now he's deporting people or trying to people for thought crimes, which is the exact opposite of what people thought they were voting for. And so it's a real it's,
It's a betrayal of MAGA and it's not MAGA. It's what we call MIGA, which is make Israel great again. That's what this is all about. You know, a country of 10 million people is, is, it's, this is called, this is the definition of the tail wagging the dog.
And instead of us dictating to a client state, which is what Israel is, and they couldn't do anything without our support and help, that's the exact opposite is happening. And MAGA is not on board with this. I mean, it's certainly people like Marjorie Taylor Greene, Tucker Carlson. This is not what these are people he's deporting and imprisoning people.
who should be the last people he should take a look at. He decided to go after them first, not because anybody in the United States wanted him to do that, but because his owners wanted him to do that. And who do I mean? Miriam Adelson, Benjamin Netanyahu in the AIPAC lobby. So that's where we are. It's disgusting. Nobody's for this. Nobody's for this. I mean, there's a handful of people, maybe Jordan Peterson, but he's Canadian. Right.
And Ben Shapiro and his and his allegiance is lied to Israel. He's an Israel first over the over the United States. And so this is not what anybody voted for. This is the mirror of of what we thought we were getting rid of with the left censorship. But here we are. What do you say, Misty? Well, I mean, I agree with you. I think that this is and, you know, I'm a free speech activist. This is kind of, you know, what gets my gets me fired up the most.
And it's very frustrating to watch Trump essentially just become Biden. But as you said, the mirror image, I mean, we...
we were now allowed to talk about COVID freely. Um, you can say the R word on Twitter, but you can't criticize Israel. Yeah, I know. Right. It's like, it's such a huge victory. We're all really so much more free on that front. So yeah, I mean, it's, it's a very frustrating thing to watch, but it's also very, to me, it's very frustrating because, uh, I thought that this was very obvious. Donald Trump has never really been all that shy about who he is. He was never, I mean, this is a guy who, uh,
had Julian Assange arrested. This is the guy who spied on Julian Assange on the Ecuadorian embassy. This is the guy that plotted to assassinate Julian Assange. So this is not, he was never a free speech warrior and he was able to convince some people that he was somehow the free speech guy. Elon was able to convince people that he was a free speech guy. To me, it was readily apparent that that was never the case. And so I'm very glad that this judge has ordered him to be released. He has a young family. I think he has a newborn son, in fact.
So I'm very happy for him that he's able to return home to his family. There is a, did you want to play this video, Jimmy? We do have this video. Just a little bit of background of what happened. Let's play this video. Yeah, this is from Mom Donnie, who's running obviously right now currently. So this is a video. It just tells a little bit about the story. A bright young man comes to the U.S. to study.
He meets the love of his life. She's from the Midwest. They settle down, get married, and are about to start a family. That's a story that could describe so many New Yorkers across the city. Three months ago today, right here in this lobby, this was Mahmoud Khalil, his wife Noor, and their soon-to-be-born child.
Mahmoud was born to Palestinian parents in a refugee camp in Syria. Noor was born in Michigan. On March 8th, Mahmoud was forcibly abducted by ICE agents who had followed him home.
His wife asked the most basic questions. Can we get your name? We don't give her a name. What was he charged with? Where were they taking him? But she received no answers. Ice claims Mahmoud tried to flee, but footage shows he clearly did not.
Days later, it was finally revealed that Mahmoud had been taken to a jail in rural Louisiana, where he's been held for three months in perilous conditions. He was only recently granted a brief visitation with his wife Noor and their newborn son Dean, whose birth he could not witness. Mahmoud is a permanent resident, the same legal status that more than 600,000 New Yorkers have today, and that I once had myself. But he has been denied basic constitutional rights and detained simply for political speech.
Mahmoud Khalil, like thousands of other New Yorkers, was standing up for Palestinian human rights. And for that he was threatened.
But when he shared concerns about his safety with Columbia University, they did nothing to stand in ICE's way. Mahmoud is a New Yorker, just like you and me. There has been no accountability for his abduction, his total denial of rights, and for Columbia University and this city's failure to protect him. New York is a sanctuary city, but Eric Adams has allowed ICE to operate in our neighborhoods and on our campuses with impunity. This is a moment to speak in one voice, for the First Amendment and to free Mahmoud.
Yeah, I think we I think certainly you and I agree on the free speech aspect of this. And it's, you know, Donald Trump came in with a mandate and he's blowing it.
He's he's he's blowing it. He's blowing it on free speech. This is the opposite of free speech. This is you're you're using the full power of the government to go after people for thought crimes. That's what this is. And people try to say that, oh, well, he was, you know, leading violent protests. He didn't there. He's not he hasn't been charged with a crime. He didn't there was nothing. He was a mediator. He was trying to bring peace. He was a peacemaker. And.
And so so all those crazy charges were just that they're made up. They're manufactured. And this is a thought crime. And if you're true MAGA, meaning you make America great again, you're for free speech. And they're like, well, free speech. People say free speech is just for American citizens. Well, he was a legal resident. He's following the rules.
And by the way, free speech isn't a gift that we give to people we like. It isn't something we try to hoard just for American citizens. Free speech is a value that comes from God. It doesn't come from the Constitution. It comes from God. The Constitution just recognizes that and it promises that the government won't interfere with that God-given right of free speech. So if you actually believe in the Constitution and you are religious and you believe in free speech,
You would be against this because free speech, again, isn't something we try to hoard for just American citizens. It's a value we try to spread around the world to everybody, just like we try to spread democracy around the world. We want to spread free speech around the world and bring it to everybody. It's not a prize that we hoard for ourselves.
Yeah, well, and it's also not just for people that we agree with, right? I mean, forget the American citizen, non-American citizen. I think a lot of people, that's, it's very frustrating for me because I feel like in my experience, people are all for free speech unless it's somebody that they don't agree with. And then suddenly they lose their principles very quickly.
Uh, and that's very annoying to me. And also you mentioned that they, you know, smeared him as saying that he was, you know, organizing these violent protests. And I just want to appeal to MAGA and the right on this issue, because that's the same thing that they said about January Sixers. That's the same exact thing. That's the same exact thing. And that's exactly what they do. Anytime that there is somebody who's stepping over the boundaries or who's speaking out of turn or who's going against the narrative, they will smear you with any and everything that they can, uh,
And it's very frustrating to watch. I mean, it happens all the time. January Sixers. I stood up for January Sixers. I'm standing up for pro-Palestinian protesters because I see the way that the exact same tactics are used against both groups. And it's just very frustrating that it's Jimmy. There's no consistency of principle. There's no consistency, consistency of principle at all.
Well, that's exactly right. So you need protection for speech that you hate, not for speech that you like. And so you can hate Palestinians. You could hate Hamas. You could hate what they have to say. But if you love free speech, you have to love free speech more than you hate them. I grew up
in Chicago where Nazis would march every year through Skokie, which was a Jewish community filled with the Holocaust survivors. And guess what? They allowed them to march because the Holocaust survivors in Skokie loved free speech more than they hated Nazis. And they understand that if they could take it away from them, they could take it away from everybody. So you either have to be all in or not. And so, yeah.
Again, you don't have to agree with this guy. No. But you don't have to agree with the Palestinian protesters. You don't have to agree with any of it. But you have to agree that this was a misuse of justice. This is the last thing that this is a thought crime. And this is the last thing we wanted Donald Trump to do. And he's blowing it. He's blowing his mandate.
Yeah, I'm not even sure that he cares though, to be honest with you. So I'm very glad that Mahmoud is now free and home with his family. Hopefully there will be some sort of retribution or I'm not really sure. Probably not. We know that there probably won't be, but that is some breaking news that we did have. So we wanted to bring that to you right off the top of the show. Cause I think that just came out about an hour ago. So good news. It's good to have good news every once in a while, right? It's very rare. It's rare, but it's nice. Yeah.
So, okay, and I actually want to talk to you about Trump. And if you're just now tuning in, welcome to The Jimmy Dore Show. I am your guest host, Misty Winston. Jimmy's here as well. He's back from his trip. We're here with Scott Horton. And I wanted to ask you about Trump's waffling because over the past couple of weeks, we have seen him flip-flop from negotiating to demanding total surrender and literally posting terroristic threats on Truth Social where he's, you know, threatening the life of the Supreme Leader and all of this stuff. I mean, literal terroristic threats. And now we've gone back
to we have two weeks for negotiations. So what is that about? Is he just is this smoke and mirrors? Is he trying to bait? Is he giving them time for a false flag? What is happening with all of this waffling back and forth? I really don't know. I mean, he's treating it as though it's some trivial matter that he can play around with, like it's some argument about the budget with the Democrats or some kind of thing like that. I'll tell you, the very worst one
and we have a story about this on antiwar.com today by Dave DeCamp, is about how there was a report that said that the White House has ruled out the use of atomic weapons.
Bunker Buster bombs because they don't need them. They've decided that they're confident that even if Israel's 20,000 pound bunker Buster bombs can't do the trick that America's 30,000 pound deep earth penetrators will be able to do the job and so they won't need to use atomic weapons and then the White House issued a statement refuting that and saying that's wrong and that in fact all options still remain on the table and
Now, I don't believe that they're going to use nuclear weapons and I'm not trying to panic people into dropping, quitting their job and moving out to the country and this kind of thing. But I am saying that that is absolute terrorism beyond belief to have nuclear.
a nuclear weapon state the originator and signatory to the non-proliferation treaty threatening a non-nuclear weapon state signatory to the non-proliferation treaty with a nuclear first strike when they are not threatening us in any way they're not doing anything to us we're only talking about whether our bombs are bad enough to get deep enough to
to blow up some centrifuges that they actually have the right to under that very same nonproliferation treaty. That he would dare to even, not directly, Trump himself didn't say this, but his White House did,
For them to re-raise after a story debunks it and to reaffirm the potential use of nuclear weapons in this war is absolutely criminal, is absolutely terrorism. And especially on top of, as you say,
warning the entire population of 10 million people of the capital city of Tehran to flee the city. And this is absolutely outrageous behavior. Trump should immediately be impeached and removed from office for this. And I'm not playing about that. And I think probably you guys are at least somewhat sympathetic to my idea that
I hate the Democrats so much right now. They might as well have burned Waco yesterday. And I've rooted for Donald Trump three times. I've never voted for him. I never could because of Israel, because of this issue. I know better. But I have rooted for him to destroy his enemies, and especially in the Democratic Party, so badly.
Um, and, and so, you know, I'm not quite Dave Smith where I went out and pulled the lever for the guy, but man, don't anyone confuse me with Michael Moore or some liberal, uh, sympathetic to the ruling regime on the left right now in,
or any like political sense like that. This is good and evil. This is right and wrong. This is black and white. Simple as fact. It is criminal behavior to start an aggressive war against a country that's not even threatening us, that in fact had not
broken out and made the attempt to create a nuclear weapons capability in their country, which would not be a legitimate cost his belly for us to attack them anyway. Which, by the way, you know, Harry Truman knew that the Soviet Union was making nuclear weapons. He didn't launch a preemptive war against the Soviet Union, which then again, Truman was a commie. He was surrounded by commies. So who knows? But then LBJ didn't launch an aggressive war against Mao Zedong. And he was the center left liberal. Yeah.
and he didn't invade China to prevent them from acquiring nuclear weapons. And Mao Zedong is the most violent and destructive man who ever lived in the entire history of the world. He's Stalin plus Hitler combined. And LBJ didn't say, well, anything is worth it to keep atom bombs away from him. In fact, Mao even said, hey, even if I get in a nuclear war and I lose a few million people, well, I got a few million more. He was like that. He was an
absolute madman, the most violent and destructive person who ever lived in America. Didn't launch a preemptive war against him. But we're crazy to do this to the Ayatollah, who the Ayatollah is a horrible leader. If you live there, none of the three of us would ever want to live in Iran. But he's always been
I won't say extremely, but I would say mostly cautious in foreign policy. When George W. Bush handed him Baghdad on a silver platter, he accepted it. Okay, that much is true. But does that make him a threat to the United States of America? Absolutely not. No, I agree with that 100%.
Bringing it up to current day. And now we're in the situation where we have a lot of people saying, oh, we can't trust Iran. Well, duh. I mean, you can't trust anybody, but we also can't trust Israel. And we saw this week, CNN released a montage of Netanyahu fear mongering about this issue. And he's been doing it for a couple of decades. We can play that really quickly. It's very brief just so that I know they played it on the show earlier, but let's just get an idea. This is over the course of decades of Netanyahu, uh,
fearmongering about Iran and their nuclear capabilities. The deadline for attaining this goal is getting extremely close. And Iran, by the way, is also outpacing Iraq in the development of ballistic missile systems that they hope will reach the eastern seaboard of the United States within 15 years. By next spring, at most, by next summer, at current enrichment rates, they will have finished the medium enrichment and move on to the final stage.
from there it's only a few months possibly a few weeks before they get enough enriched uranium for the first bomb the foremost sponsor of global terrorism could be weeks away from having enough enriched uranium for an entire arsenal of nuclear weapons that would place a militant islamic terror regime weeks away from having the fissile material
for an entire arsenal of nuclear bombs. If not stopped, Iran could produce a nuclear weapon in a very short time. It could be a year. It could be within a few months, less than a year. It could be tomorrow. It could be today, 30 seconds from now. I mean, he's been saying this for decades and it is...
Astonishing to me that this is so effective on people, but it is. I mean, fear is a very powerful manipulator. But what I think is so, I mean, just insane is that U.S. intelligence has been saying for years now, Scott, that there is no evidence. There's no evidence that Iran is seeking to create a nuclear weapon, including as recently as just March when Tulsi Gabbard said as much in testimony in front of the Senate. We also have that clip. It's very brief. I'll play it quickly.
The IC continues to assess that Iran is not building a nuclear weapon and Supreme Leader Khamenei has not authorized the nuclear weapons program that he suspended in 2003. The IC continues to monitor closely if Tehran decides to reauthorize its nuclear weapons program.
So there you have it, Scott. What has changed since March, my friend? What has changed in the past, whatever it is, 90 days that suddenly we need to be. Thank you. Thank you. Only only only Donald Trump's deadline expired. Apparently that deadline really was apparently his promise to Netanyahu that if we can't get the deal that we want in this amount of time. And as we all knew, the question came down to.
The demand for a total cessation of all enrichment capability inside Iran or not, which the Ayatollah was never going to give in to, and everybody knew it. And the question was whether Donald Trump was going to compromise or not on that and figure out some kind of way to do that.
you know, compromise. They talked about maybe a consortium even with the Saudis or whatever, but find a way for both sides to stay face and get back in the thing. And Trump just decided that, nope, he was going to go ahead and let Netanyahu go ahead. And I would encourage your audience all to just listen very carefully to the way they talk about this. They just say, oh, well, we can't let them get a nuclear weapon.
This is what George W. Bush called shorthanding it. And that's when you just imply a bunch of lies and hope that people just infer them. Oh, oh, yeah, I guess it sounded like he was just saying that they were about to get a nuke if we didn't do this. He didn't actually say that. He couldn't he couldn't possibly explain how that's true. Right. And when he was. Well, it was crazy about it, Scott.
What's crazy about it is, who are we to decide who gets to have a nuclear weapon and who doesn't? I mean, it's crazy that we think that we are the world's policemen, that we get to-- this is a deterrent for other countries. We saw what happened to Gaddafi in Libya. I mean, we've seen the way that the United States conducts itself. And so the idea that the United States gets to tell people how and what they're allowed to have, when we're the only ones that have actually used nuclear weapons, we're the only country on Earth that's actually done that.
So it's just crazy to me. So I wanted to ask you, what do you think this means for Tulsi? Because many are calling for her to resign. I saw Dave Smith has been calling for her to resign. And she's proven over the years that, frankly, there aren't many issues she isn't willing to sit on both sides of.
But she has to be under enormous pressure right now because this is something that there's statements from her going back years and years and years. In fact, when she ran for president against Donald Trump, this was something that she called him out on. So what do you think that this looks like for Tulsi Gabbard right now?
Oh, I really don't know. I mean, this is always the problem that good and evil people have in government. They all think they're good and they all think that everything would be worse if they weren't there. I've known a lot of good guys who stayed in the army for years and participated in battles that they wish they hadn't been in, but they couldn't bear leaving their guys behind. And with...
Jimmy in charge, are you not this Jimmy? Sorry. I always use Jimmy as a name for a funny example, but just with, you know, leave Robert in charge of my group. No way that guy's a loose cannon or whatever. I got to stay to do the best I can and the thing. And they all rationalize that way.
all with power are afraid to lose it, right? And so, I mean, put yourself in her position. You could still tell Trump a lot of truth about a lot of things if you stay. And you, I mean, hey, DNI, talk about the ear of the king. You could, you might not have won this fight, but you still got some, I gotta say.
I'm a half a mind either way. Obviously, there's a principal stand for her to take. But what if she can talk him out of the next stupid thing that he might do? It's a real dilemma for her. You know what I mean? But yeah, I think I think what's really important and people are, I guess, are finding this very obvious when Trump says, well, I don't care what she says.
I mean, what he's really, he's not even bothering to give us George W. Bush saying, well, the intelligence community says it's so dangerous and I have to do this. He's saying the intelligence community says it's not. I don't care. And y'all probably remember in George W. Bush's, yeah, in W. Bush's memoir, you know, he cites a conversation with his royal majesty, King Abdullah over there, his highness in Saudi rather than Netanyahu or Ehud Olmert or something. But
he still complains that
Well, the CIA said that they didn't have a military program. So how was I supposed to attack them if my own intelligence agencies say that they're not doing anything? Well, here Donald Trump is going far beyond where W. Bush felt completely hemmed in. When the CIA was unwilling to lie for him in 2007 and 2008, he said, well, okay, I guess the game is up. If the CIA won't lie for me, I can't just start a war when the CIA is telling everyone I'm lying, right? And then, oh, here we are.
Here we are with Donald J. Trump, Mr. No New Wars. Right? Mr. Peace, the peace president, Scott. He's the peace president. That's what I've been told anyway. He's the peace candidate.
