It appears the summer of love 2.0 has begun. Over the weekend, Christians held a permitted rally in Seattle, where they were violently attacked by far-left extremists. They decided to return to protest the mayor who sided with Antifa. And now, oh boy.
The FBI says they're getting involved. Dan Bongino said we're not going to stand for Christians being attacked. Seattle Police Union president warns of a long, long summer after the mayor backs Antifa over officers and Christians. As the story goes, this is what we can expect to see. Now, with the FBI intervention, maybe something will change, but I'm not entirely convinced. Christians held a peaceful rally. They played music. That's it.
The far left showed up and began to beat people, throw objects into the crowd. Many were arrested and the city defended Antifa. So when Christians came back angry that their permitted rally was was attacked and the city defended the criminals, more far left extremists showed up to attack Christians. We have the story from the postmillennial.
They say Seattle is facing another public safety reckoning and the city's police officers are sounding the alarm in a blistering interview on the Ari Hoffman show on talk radio. Seattle Police Officers Guild President Mike Solon took direct aim at Mayor Bruce Harrell, accusing him of putting officers in harm's way by siding with radical activists over his police force.
The controversy erupted after Antifa targeted a Christian concert on Saturday. Antifa militants injured several Seattle police officers. But Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell blamed the violence on Christian worshipers. Solon said officers were left without proper support or recognition, claiming that Harrell appeared more focused on managing political optics than ensuring the safety of those on the front lines. Now we have this. This has been...
This is pretty wild. This was last week. Look at this from Frontline. Seattle PD arrest dozens of Antifa trans activists and far left militants at Cal Anderson Park in Capitol Hill. Authorities began making arrests after hundreds of activists appeared to engage in melees and brawls. Now, you may have seen this story. Frontlines by TPUSA has this quick, quick narrative, give you a quick context for those that missed it.
The group Mayday USA. Congress of Christian worshippers flooded Seattle's Cal Anderson Park Saturday afternoon to pray for the city and take a stand for traditional family values. You will not be stressed out.
Especially against transgender ideology targeting children, all part of the Mayday USA revival movement sweeping across the nation. But a time of blessing and praise quickly devolved into chaos. Far left activists and Antifa militants tried to disrupt the concert.
Tried to. They literally did. Throwing water balloons at the crowd, menacing attendees, and some activists even tried rushing the stage. I would say there's two kingdoms clashing here today. There's the kingdom of God.
and then there's the kingdom of Satan. Which led to numerous clashes and scuffles with police. All these Antifa activists, and then you got the concert going on here right now. What's it been like today? I think it just illustrates...
The idea that people who champion free speech and champion free expression are ultimately threatened and irritated by anybody else who has an opposing message. Russell Johnson with Pursuit Church was one of several pastors from Seattle participating with their congregations. Now, that's the basic context. We do this from Dan Bongino, who posted, We have asked our team to fully investigate allegations of targeted violence against religious groups at the Seattle concert today.
Freedom of religion isn't a suggestion. So here we go, baby. Postman goes on to say cops got put in the hospital. Solon stated referencing injuries sustained during violent protests. He pointed to a press release issued by Spog that called attention. That's the police union called attention to what he termed Seattle's public safety reality. A dire state marked by depletion, depleted staffing and political abandonment.
This is the city's reality. We are below minimum staffing. Every shift in every precinct, the officers you saw on the line, those were patrol officers pulled from precincts. So who's left to answer 911 calls? I don't care. It's Seattle. I'm not going to... Look, guys, I care that they're attacking Christians. I care that these are violent, psychopathic terrorists. I don't care about the city of Seattle. Y'all, look...
I can express this is a problem, but at a certain point, you've heard me say it before. Why do you live in Seattle? It's a far left psychotic city where the government is on the side of Antifa. Antifa far left extremist crackpots have more governmental legitimacy in this city than the police do.
So when the police come out and say this is this is better, say, OK, I respect that you're telling your city, but I don't live there. I would never live there. And I advocate people should leave those cities. Stop funding it. But that's what they do. They fund it with their tax dollars. When you live there and you pay income tax, your tax dollars are paying for all this stuff.
They say currently about 850 officers are available for emergency response or follow-up investigations in Seattle, Solon explained. Nearly 280 of those are eligible for retirement, further threatening the department's operational integrity. Solon warned that if current trends continue, political pandering, lack of support, ongoing violence, Seattle may face another mass exodus, similar to what happened during and following the George Floyd riots in 2020.
We are already out of contract. We've been out for a year and a half. We keep hearing about hiring gains, but no one is talking about the number of officers walking out the door. If we lose another 100 officers, it's over. We won't be able to protect the city. Here's my advice, and I mean this sincerely. Quit now. 100 officers, that's all you need to do. You see...
The way the city's operating right now is they're saying, how much can we mercilessly beat these cops? And they're still willing to stay on the job and do the bare minimum. And that's their cost benefit analysis, their cost risk analysis. So you say if another hundred police officers quit the force, then we're in trouble. We can't protect the city. They say, OK, so we don't got to do anything until at least 90 officers quit.
100 officers. We're not even anywhere near total breakdown. Now, what would happen if right now these officers just said we're quitting? Goodbye. The city would be in panic and they would beg for help. And if they can't enforce the law, Trump can invoke the Insurrection Act and then he can enforce the law for them. Dan Bongino may send in the FBI. Maybe that will get something cleared up. But I think we're dealing with public corruption, violation of civil rights. The fact the city is defending criminals is
We need we need a federal intervention. That's what this is for. That's why we have a federal government. So in didn't mince words when criticizing Mayor Harrell, who campaigned on a platform of public safety, but has since alienated many in the law enforcement community. This mayor seems more worried about being outflanked by the activist left than leading. He's pandering to people who view anti-favance as acceptable while ignoring the reality that officers are being assaulted.
Harrell's support for leftist agitators over the Christian group prompted a Tuesday evening protest on the steps of City Hall, in which pastors and Christians demanded an apology or for Harrell to resign. Solon argued that instead of showing leadership, Harrell made the situation worse by invoking identity politics and failing to acknowledge injured officers. Take a look at this. It happened again. Christians protest at City Hall to demand Mayor Bruce Harrell resign. Police arrest eight leftist agitators.
Now, look, some of you may be saying, I don't know if this is going to be Summer of Love. I'm trying to get the camera to focus. It's not working. Summer of Love 2.0. But it is just Seattle. Some people are saying this is what Seattle is, this is what Seattle does. But to be fair, Summer of Love 1.0 was largely Seattle. The question is, will this expand beyond the crackpot left capitals borders? Now, maybe you can argue that Portland is substantially worse and Seattle isn't the capital of leftist nonsense. But
You get the point. Seattle is a failed city. These Pacific states are failed states. They've got homelessness. There was even a period where we saw the return of the bubonic plague. Let me see if I can find this. Plague in California. Remember that one? Uh-oh. Silvatic plague, bubonic plague is still present in California. Oh, man.
Wow, even Colorado's got the plague now. Look at this. Literally, it's called the plague. Bubonic plague. Health officials confirm person in Colorado infected with bubonic plague. So I live in West Virginia. We don't have bubonic plague. Maybe we do. I don't know, to be completely honest. Let's see. West Virginia plague. Maybe they do. Maybe I got to be fair, right? Plague does not occur in West Virginia. West Virginia does not have plague. Okay. Okay.
It's an unhealthy state, though. Okay, well, no. Yeah, there's no plague here. But there is plague there. This is what a failed state looks like. It's a health crisis. It's a political crisis. It's a legal crisis. Now, the issue was...
In the Biden administration, they did nothing. I think Donald Trump's bet in the first Summer of Love was these people are going to tank the Democrats. Well, I'm not so sure he was right. I think Trump's plan was let him riot and rampage and then everyone's going to blame the Democrats for it. No, they blame Trump. They said Trump was the president and didn't do anything and riots were happening and they want to change.
Trump should have invoked the Insurrection Act to shut down the riots because these Democrat states weren't doing it. He could have sent in the National Guard to stop the rioting. I suppose the issue was, everybody says, if he did that, they'd call him a fascist. And there's a fair point. If Trump stopped the riots before they could start, then all anyone would talk about is Trump deploying the military into various cities. And they'd say it's over, you know, an armed black man being killed.
So it's hard to know exactly what you should do, to be honest. I'd say right now Trump's not looking for reelection. He should invoke the Insurrection Act, send law enforcement into these jurisdictions and shut it all down.
But I suppose we'll see what Dan Bongino does. I'm wrapping up there. Smash the like button. Share the show with everyone you know. You can follow me on X and Instagram at TimCast. Thanks for hanging out. And we'll see you all in the next segment.
Now, it did seem like in the greater context they're talking about foreign influence, but the question is, how did the Secret Service let that happen? Why weren't there police officers on the roof? Boy, this Secret Service seems to be the most incompetent we've ever seen. I mean, maybe not the most we've ever seen, I don't know, but pretty dang bad. Where are the firings? How come people aren't getting fired, booted out, demoted, whatever? Well,
Here's a funny story for you, my friends. Secret Service suspends officers caught brawling on camera outside Obama's home. Quote, whoop this girl's ass. All right. Now, immediately I know that we're going to get all the dudes being like, this is because you have two women Secret Service agents. And there was another story which I could pull up. Another female Secret Service agent was let me just pull this one up.
This one goes back. They got a picture of this lady. Who is this one? This is a year after Secret Service agent Michelle Herseg, who was assigned to Vice President Harris, was removed if she got into a physical fight with her fellow agents. What?
What is this? Dude, our Secret Service. What are you guys doing? Suspended? Why? I don't know. I've got no confidence in the safety and security of this president. And, you know, Dan Bongino, he was Secret Service. So, you know, he's like if there was something here like I tell you about it. Well, I'll tell you what I see.
Now, I'm always going to first come out and say maybe it's just that we have access to the media that we're getting these stories. But it kind of feels like and I think y'all probably agree. Yo, our Secret Service sucks. What was it? Comey came out with that. What he said, 80s, 86, 47. Basically, it's a veiled threat. And what happens? Secret Service comes out as an interview and they leave.
There's not even a slap on the wrist. And of course, it's weaponized by liberals to be like, help, help. I'm being repressed. So all the Secret Service ends up doing is actually helping them, not protecting Trump and creating a narrative that they're incompetent and the left are victims. You know what, man?
I wish there was some grand conspiracy because that's preferable to the stupidity, laziness, incompetence, and general disarray that we actually have.
Now, I'm sure there are conspiracies. Don't get me wrong. They just don't reach this level. Like, I'm sure some guys who work in big corporations are colluding with federal agents on, you know, like smuggling money or something. But in the grand scheme of things, it is the granular nature of all the corruption that leads to the downfall of the system. Not one big grand conspiracy. In fact, at least if there was some kind of like mafioso grand conspiracy running the ship, there'd be some order to all of it. Something you could predict and expect.
The New York Post says Secret Service has suspended two uniformed officers who reportedly caught on camera fighting each other outside of Obama's home last week. During the brawl, one federal officer allegedly grabbed her radio and threatened to whoop this girl's ass. Video published Tuesday shows the female agents punching and shoving each other. OK, I can I can see all of the comments now. Stop hiring women. Have you guys ever seen that video?
where it's like two female cops trying to arrest a guy and he just shakes them off and then runs for it and then they trot and then just give up. Listen, I don't care if you're a man or woman, okay? There should be physical requirements. This is what we want, right? We want to be like, you need to lift 150 pounds over your shoulder, right?
And then what ends up happening is these activist groups are like, well, that's discriminatory because most women can't do that. So you're discriminating against women. So they lower the standard. Then you get police who are 5'4", 150 pounds, can't run for five seconds, let alone 10. And this is what you get.
So what's the point of having security? It's as if the left – you know, I love this. They really do operate under this blank slate theory where they think everyone is the exact same. I was thinking about this. I was reading this tweet recently.
It was showing some guy was like, Ireland has the highest per capita education because more than half of Irish have bachelor's degree degrees. And then somebody was just like, sure. So that means that some of the most educated people in the world are black women because of DEI and like access to universities and things like this. And I was thinking about that. It's funny. The left genuinely thinks that being handed the piece of paper grants you the abilities as if it's some kind of video game.
You know, someone comes in and they're like, I'd like to be certified for this job. Well, you're brown. So we're going to give you the certification. Does the person actually know how to do the job? Maybe, maybe not so much, but they're getting it because of their race. As if you can hand a piece of paper to someone and they instantly just have the ability to operate a forklift. They go on to say, oh, there's audio garbled. Here we go. We're going to play the audio for you. Oh, yes. And we have this post from Susan Crabtree.
Here we go. So where'd discipline go? Like what happened to honor and discipline? Susan Crabtree writes, scoop is DEI still plaguing the secret service. Frock is outside Obama residence raises new questions. Get a supervisor immediately before I whooped this girl's ass. The lack of professionalism was on display during the fires at 2 a.m. by the way. And call one of the women made on a recorded secret service line.
To request a supervisor to come to the scene immediately before I whip this girl's ass. The woman officer who made the call was upset that her shift replacement was late and assailed her verbally and physically when she finally did arrive to relieve her. Audio of the early a.m. call is now circulating among agents and officers and is attached to this ex post. It's unclear whether either woman was injured or whether they will be disciplined over the altercation. The fight did not wake anyone in the Obama residence or the surrounding neighborhood, the sources said.
The incident is raising new concerns among fellow Secret Service agents and officers about the agency's lowering of hiring standards during years of major DEI push to add more minorities and women to the ranks under previous Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheadle.
She'll resign under a cloud after the J-13 assassination attempt against Donald Trump. The Secret Service for years experienced low morale and a severe manpower shortage, which is also contributing to lower hiring standards as the agency works to increase its agents and officers. Special Agent Rashid Ellis earlier this year publicly stated that he believed the Secret Service's DEI policies and agendas are directly responsible for the Secret Service failures at Butler that led to the near assassination of Trump.
He also said the agency unfairly disqualified him from a promotion and believes quotas played a factor in that. Just days after Trump's inauguration, his administration terminated all DEI mandates, policies and programs across the federal government and ordered federal workers and DEI initiatives to be placed on leave. The directive applied to the Secret Service and numerous DEI officials were removed from their positions. An internal rainbow colored Secret Service website serving DEI initiatives was also shut down.
This is this this guy is if is this the guy this Rashid Ellis, he was claiming that he was passed over and he's black. He is a he's a black man.
She goes on to write, numerous sources in the Secret Service community have questioned whether Sean Curran, who Trump tapped to lead the agency, is doing anything to roll back the agency's DEI initiatives. For instance, they wonder if he's rescinded Chiel's previous commitment to a national 30 by 30 pledge that has a goal of hiring 30 percent women in law enforcement by 2030. Stop. Oh, I can't stand these people. I don't want to live on this planet anymore. My God.
Men and women are different. They don't understand that because they're developmentally disabled. OK, if you are trying to get 30 percent of all these smokes, do I got to put the grip strength chart again? Listen, this is not that people don't like women. OK, feminists can't comprehend this. Apparently, maybe not all feminists, just the woke, woke feminists is like the second wave feminists. I guess they get it. Men and women are different.
OK, you cannot have 30 percent of law enforcement be female while maintaining the physical requirements. Police need to be on the higher end of the spectrum and physical capabilities because they need to be able to stop and arrest bad guys.
You see? And so what's going to happen when you're like, we want 30 percent women? Listen, Secret Service agents shield the president with their bodies. You know, everybody thinks Napoleon was short. He wasn't. I guess he was short, but for the time he was average. And the reason why is that there are paintings of him standing near his imperial guards. His imperial guards are very large men to protect him. That's the point.
So when Donald Trump was nearly assassinated, people noticed you had these five foot four women who could not protect Trump. Now, I'll give them respect. OK, I don't mean to disrespect anybody who's going to use their body as a shield. OK, that is tremendously brave, courageous and honorable. Unfortunately, if you are short and small and smaller than the person you're protecting, we got ourselves a problem, don't we? Because you are not big enough to shield the president. And therein lies the problem.
They're going to say, Susan goes on to say, many sources are quick to say that they know several women agents and officers who are exceptional at their jobs, but stress there are others who lack the skills, strength and professionalism, physical strength that serving in the Secret Service requires yet remain on the job and are sometimes promoted over more qualified men. The sources acknowledge that there are also unprofessional men who failed to meet prior Secret Service training. This is just it's just decay. The system is breaking down because everybody is dumb.
That's my that's my that's my prescription. That's my description. Nobody nobody wants to stick their neck out. Nobody wants to rock the boat. I feel like even among Cash and Dan, largely, they're probably being honest with you. They said in this interview, they can't get ahead of themselves. This is what I've been pointing out. They said we've got ongoing criminal cases and court proceedings, so we can't get ahead of ourselves and release that information. Sorry. But then there's, you know, saying that Epstein took his own life or there's no there there. It's like nobody believes it.
Nobody believes it, okay? So the assumption then is everyone, every step of the way, will bend the knee to the machine. Guys, the problem is, this is how Rome collapses. The machine is running out of control, and nobody wants to be the person to bash it with the wrench, hoping that some percussive maintenance might set it straight, because maybe it breaks it. And that's what they're looking at, a rickety bridge, and they're like, look,
If we rock this bridge, the whole thing falls and everyone goes down with it. And my response is, the whole thing's going down anyway. Can we like, I don't know, maybe start building another bridge while this one begins to fall apart? It's a funny story, isn't it? But it's also very sad. I do think it's DEI. Oh man, I feel bad for these women. You know? Like, they got the job, whatever.
But they're short. That's why. Look, no disrespect, but look how short these women are that were supposed to be defending Donald Trump. And, you know, this lady looks like she's in her late 30s. Dude, we want 27 year old guys. OK, it's you can't discriminate the basis of age or gender. It's like, bro, I said it before. I'll say it again. If I'm in a burning building, I'm like the fifth floor and there's smoke and I'm like on the ground, I can't breathe. And the door flies open.
If I saw a 5'4", 110-pound woman standing there, I'd be like, great, now I got to save her. No, I want to see a 6'3", strapping young man glistening and ripped. I don't know why he'd not be wearing a shirt, but I don't care. I'd say, please save me. Save me. It's not because I like guys. It's because I know that guys are more capable in physically lifting on average. And my point is this.
There are some women who are large. I'll put it like this. If a door flew open and there was a 6'5 super ripped woman, she's like, I'm getting you out of here, bud. I'd be like, oh, thank God. The issue that I'm bringing up is that on average, that's not the case. And you all know it, and I know it, but we live in a system of cowards. Nobody wants to rock the boat. The system's crumbling before our very eyes, and everyone's just like, dude, we're walking on thin ice. Do the bare minimum, otherwise the ice cracks. And I'm saying...
Yo, if this is the case, if this is what we're dealing with in law enforcement, like the segment I just did on Seattle where the police are like, why is the mayor defending Antifa? Because the system's broken. Come on. Whatever, man. You do you. I'm going to live in the middle of nowhere. Smash the like button. Share the show with everyone you know. Stay tuned. We got more segments coming up. We'll see you on the next bit. Donald Trump has announced he'll be pardoning the Chrisleys from that reality TV show.
And at first I was kind of like, okay, why, I guess. But the narrative is the Chrisleys, prominent conservatives, said that they were targeted unjustly. They maintained their innocence. They were convicted of fraud. And Donald Trump has now pardoned the reality TV stars. Kind of a lot to break down in their story, but it is kind of crazy. According to the New York Times, their defense connected the prosecutors in their case to Fannie Willis. Maybe Donald Trump saw that and said,
Here's how I get my revenge on doing the prosecutions of these individuals. However, that being said, I actually lean towards. Yeah, I'd be willing to bet for a long time now. Conservatives have been targeted. If you are prominent, they will come after you. They will lie. They will cheat. They will steal. And considering everything I've seen, I don't care at all if the Chrisleys are guilty or whatever. I don't believe half these prosecutions are legit anymore.
I've had personal dealings with the federal government. And let's just say it's not good. What I mean is I've been the victim of fraud. And when I reached out to the feds and said, please help, I've been defrauded, they said, not interested. So hold on. What qualifies someone being a victim that you're going to go and pursue and try and seek justice for? Apparently not I. But if you're the Chrisleys and they maintain a former employee was committing fraud using their names and it wasn't them.
They actually vacated the sentence of the wife because they said there was no evidence she actually did it. It's kind of crazy. Now, Joe Exotic, also known as Tiger King, is upset. He's angry that he got snubbed by Trump. But I just want to say this, Tiger King, perhaps not the best way to seek a pardon. If you think you're really if you if you maintain your innocence, I think if you if you're saying you're innocent, then the best thing to do is, I don't know, flies with honey, not
screaming and complaining about Donald Trump. So we got two stories. We'll start off with a Joe Exotic when Tiger King talk about a big show. Tiger King roars over Trump snub fuming over Chris Lee's pardon. Joe Exotic let his inner tiger come out Tuesday, blasting Donald Trump for pardoning Todd and Julie Chris Lee while they continues to sit in prison with no word on his appeal.
They say 47 issued a full pardon for Chrisley knows best stars who have been serving their combined 19 year prison sentence after they were found guilty in 2022 on federal charges of bank fraud and tax evasion. The tech king star swiftly unloaded his frustrations, writing in a press release. He shared an ex. I have never been more disappointed in my life that President Trump is pardoning all of these people that have actually committed crimes. If the president leaves me here as an innocent man.
I'm just going to say this. That is not how you go about asking for a pardon. Donald Trump, I would argue, does not believe the Chrisleys broke any laws.
I would assume that in his view, they were unfairly targeted for being conservative. Say, let's go back to when the IRS was targeting Tea Party members under Barack Obama. The political weaponization has been going on for some time now. Then it was weaponized against Trump. Trump takes this very personally. So perhaps Joe Exotic.
Needs to just say, thank you, Donald. Here's my advice. Issue a press release saying the incredible, magnanimous, greatest president of our generation, Donald Trump, once again showing his utmost beneficence in pardoning the Chrisleys who are unjustly targeted. What a great man Trump is. I also would like a pardon, please. Like, my point is.
Play to Trump's kindness or ego, whatever you want to call it. But don't come out and start attacking Donald Trump for parting other people and not you and telling him he was wrong. It's just silly. Anyway, here's the story. Trump to pardon reality show couple convicted of $36 million in fraud. Here's the gist of it.
The DOJ says that these people, they're on this reality TV show about how wealthy they are doing real estate, when in reality, they were basically, what do you call it?
Like rolling checks or whatever. I forgot what it's called. Back in the day, all you young whippersnappers don't know this. What people would do is they'd go to a bank or a checks cashed place. And they'd write a personal check for like $1,000. And they'd say, can you cash? Maybe $500. They'd say, can you cash rolling checks? Is that what it's called? Can you cash this check? They'd say, sure. They hand you $500. Take your check. And that's how you could get. Like we have ATM machines now. That's redundant. But we have ATMs now.
And you can just take money out. But back then, if you needed cash, you'd write a check, hand it to them, they'd give you the cash. However, it could take several days for that check to clear. So what people would do then is they'd get the cash, then go to a different checks cashed and say 500 bucks, then deposit that money in their account. So when the first check clears, the last check expires.
The money you deposited from the other check gets sent to the other bank, and you basically keep doing that every few days, and you're floating money. Eventually, you do have to pay it back, but it basically gives you money up front that you can float. That's illegal. You can't do that. The argument is the Chrisleys were doing that to the tune of millions of dollars, basically getting out big loans from banks for properties, but then using that money to do whatever they wanted, luxury cars and property and stuff for themselves.
Then fraudulently getting another loan using fake numbers and paying back other loans with those loans, ultimately accruing tons of interest and then declaring bankruptcy. Clever, huh? Well, the Chrisley say that's not true. It was a former employee that did it. Let's read. They said President Trump will fully pardon the reality television stars Todd and Julie Chrisley, who were convicted three years ago of evading taxes and defrauding banks of more than $30 million to support their luxury lifestyle.
The part announced Tuesday by the White House is the latest instance of Trump using his clemency power to settle grievances over what he calls the political weaponization of the justice system. Mr. Trump, in notifying the Chrisley's daughter, Savannah, called their treatment pretty harsh, as shown in a video clip of their call posted to social media by one of the president's special assistants, Margo Martin. Your parents are going to be free and clean and hope we can do it by tomorrow.
Trump tells Savannah Chrisley, adding, I don't know them, but give them my regards and wish them a good life. And the question is, Trump doesn't know these people. So why did he issue clemency? Why did he pardon them?
They're going to mention the Chrisley's sword to fame about a decade ago on the USA Network hit show Chrisley Knows Best as self-made, God-fearing real estate moguls who lived in a 30,000 square foot mansion outside of Atlanta. But according to prosecutors, their empire was based on the lie that their wealth came from dedication and hard work. And they were career swindlers who made a living by jumping from one fraud scheme to another, lying to banks, stiffing vendors and evading taxes at every corner.
A jury in 2022 found the couple guilty of eight counts of financial fraud, two counts of tax evasion. While Ms. Chrisley was convicted of additional counts of wire fraud and obstruction of justice, Mr. Chrisley received a 12-year prison sentence, and Ms. Chrisley was sentenced to seven years.
According to the DOJ, the Chrisleys conspired with a former business partner to defraud banks around Atlanta into giving them more than $36 million in personal loans. They submitted false bank statements, audit reports, and personal financial statements to obtain the loans. The DOJ said and spent the money on luxury cars, real estate, and clothing while also using new fraudulent loans to repay the old ones. And once they ran out of money, the DOJ said they filed for bankruptcy.
Then after earning millions of dollars from their show, the Chrisleys, along with their accountant, Peter Tarantino, defrauded the IRS, prosecutors said, to avoid paying about $500,000 in back taxes that Mr. Chrisley owed. The couple opened corporate bank accounts in Chrisley's name, then transferred ownership of an account to a family member to hide their income from the IRS, prosecutors said. One more time. They opened a corporate account, then transferred ownership of an account to a family member to hide their income.
Last year, an appeals court upheld the convictions they're going to mention in pursuing clemency for the Chrisleys. Their lawyer, Alex Little, prepared binders with court documents and testimonials presented to the White House and DOJ. Mr. Little wrote their conviction exemplifies the weaponization of the justice of justice against conservatives and public figures eroding basic constitutional protections. His summary connected the prosecutors in the Chrisleys case to Fannie T. Willis, the Georgia state prosecutor who brought an election interference case against Donald Trump.
Savannah Chrisley, a supporter of Trump, said in a speech at the Republican National Convention last July that her parents were persecuted by rogue prosecutors because their public profile and conservative beliefs. In the post announcing the pardon, Trump's assistant alluded playfully to the title of Chrisley's show, Trump Knows Best. Who wrote this? Ben, what did they mention? Ken Vogel is on the story as well. You know, they've maintained their innocence and said that it was a former employee who was using their name to commit this fraud. And they got convicted. Don't care.
Literally don't. Trump could pardon everybody at this point. I'm just sitting back like we know the corruption is there. Trump doesn't know these people. But I think Trump is taking a heavy hand on what he views as weaponization of justice, be it state or federal level. And I think they're looking what the DOJ was doing. I'm willing to bet if someone came to me and asked me to put money down, do you think the Chrisleys are innocent? I'd say, yep, for one reason.
Donald Trump, I think, is going after everything he views as malicious prosecution. And he's saying, go home. I'm done with it. I think it could be. It could be. They're guilty. But the only reason they were targeted is because they're conservatives who are prominent and popular in media. Let me put it this way. When all these big corporations and Disney and whatever else won't put on right-leaning content,
When Tim Allen had that hit show, I forgot what it was called, and it got canceled by ABC. Or Roseanne, a hit show, and then she had a stupid comment on it, and they canceled her. They do not want anyone in our space to have mainstream success in their industries.
So when you see how popular and prominent the Chrisleys were, big reality show. I saw commercials for all the time. Surprise, surprise. They get locked up. Now, it may be they're guilty, but Trump might be looking at it like there are so many other people you could have gone after. But you're targeting at conservatives. You're targeting people who support Donald Trump. So the one thing I would say to Joe Exotic on the way out for this segment, brother, the answer is a press release saying in his wisdom, it is infinite wisdom that
And expressing great beneficence. I love that word, by the way. Donald Trump has pardoned the unjustly convicted Chrisleys. I can only hope and beg that such a great and magnanimous man would take pity upon me and present with me a pardon. I'll tell you one thing.
Trump isn't the kind of guy where you insult him, tell him he's wrong, and then demand a pardon. He ain't the kind of guy to give you one. I don't think Trump's going to amount and be, okay, you're pardoned because you insulted me and told me I was wrong. Come on, like, who is that kind of person? Dude.
You could be like sitting in front of me, starving to death. Well, okay, maybe not starving to death. But if you were sitting in front of me hungry and you were like, hey, dumbass, give me some food. I'd be like, screw off, what? But if you were like, pardon me, sir, I hate to beg, but I am mighty hungry and starving. Could you perhaps spare a morsel of even a tiny piece? And I'd say, yeah, I got you, bro. Respect is earned and it is due when given. So look, man, if you're innocent, bro,
Tiger King, best of luck to you. I just, you know, you get your flies with honey. You know what I'm saying? No flies with honey. I'm wrapping up there. Stay tuned. Well, I can't say that I'm surprised to see Jake Tapper now calling the Biden cover-up almost as bad or as bad as Watergate. This is the new con. They know they're exposed. They know people can see that Joe Biden was...
In firm. How do you recover? Well, certainly there are many prominent Democrats that are still playing the game that Joe Biden was fine. They're hoping to capture that audience. Jake Tapper's game plan is how did we miss this one? And maybe the conservative criticism about me was right. Do you believe this guy? Honest question. Do you actually believe that he was taken for a ride by Democrats in the Biden administration? No, this is the CNN play.
If there was any actual integrity at CNN, they'd fire Jake Tapper for his years of defending Joe Biden. Now, I got the videos for you where he says to Laura Trump, you're just making fun of his stutter. Everybody could tell that Joe Biden wasn't all with it. But to the problem is CNN viewers at the time weren't getting exposed this information until the debate happened, which appears they intentionally threw Joe Biden under the bus.
I think the plan was all intentional. I think this is how they hoped it would run out. Now, of course, the claim is Kamala Harris's team was furious. Biden didn't step down earlier to give her give her more runway. No, they wanted no time at all. They they thought people hate Trump. They'll vote Democrat. Get Joe Biden out. Who cares? Kamala Harris will win because she's a Democrat. However, it didn't work.
It didn't work because trust in the corporate press is shattered. They're desperately trying to buy it back, and they're doing it multiple ways. They've got Project Sam speaking with American men, they call it. Their big play to find their liberal Joe Rogan, which it's not going to work.
They've got it was a Derek Thompson. The Atlantic says, I know. Let's make health and fitness podcast at the very last minute. Tell people to vote Democrat. I seem to recall a one Casey Neistat telling everybody to vote for Hillary Clinton back in 2016. You're not familiar. He's basically the godfather of modern vlogging. I don't know if he's as big today as he used to be, but it was a big deal. And he came to regret it later.
Jake Tapper now has, according to L.A. Times, a bestseller. I think it might be number one. I'm not entirely sure. But this is the new con. The book is a bestseller. How? How is this possible? We may see it, but understand many people do not. Enough people saw through this to elect Donald Trump, or at the very least, enough people were feeling the pain that they thought voting for Donald Trump was the right move.
But Democrats, the corporate press still do everything, everything in their power to obfuscate. So with Trump winning and it becoming painfully obvious to everybody that Joe Biden was infirm, suffering from stage four or five, I don't know, cancer, prostate cancer, metastasized to the bone with not much long to live. It's sad. Yes. People are starting to say, hey, wait a minute. Maybe this guy was sick for a long time.
Jake Tapper now comes out and says, you know, we have to recognize that governments lie to people. He knows this. He was in on the take. The game plan they have now is to act like they were taken for a ride by corrupt government actors. And they're the honest press. Trust us. Read our version of history with our new bestselling book, Original Sin.
And it works. It works on the weak willed. So we'll get into all of that, my friends. Before we get started, don't forget to smash that like button. Share the show with everyone you know. that bears should be wearing flannel shirts, straw hats, and carrying shotguns? If you do, then the right to arm bears skateboard is the skateboard for you. Head over to boonieshq.com, pick up one of these boards today. I'm doing a big push on these because we may actually be retiring several of the graphics as we've got several new graphics that are coming up. Maybe I shouldn't say just yet because it'll be more impactful if we just put them up and you can buy them.
We've also we're going to keep step on snack and find out as one of our signature boards forever. So if you think people who step on snack should find out, perhaps you'd buy that skateboard or my personal favorite, the 28th Amendment.
chickens being necessary to the security of a free state. The right of the people to keep bear and breed chickens shall not be infringed. And I, it's a half joke, but I actually agree with this amendment. The spirit of which is that the American people have a right to grow their own food and not be reliant on massive corporations and genetically engineered garbage crops and artificial dyes. We should have a right to grow our food. And believe it or not, as much as this is a silly kind of joke,
There are many jurisdictions in this country that bar you from growing vegetables or even having small animals like chickens. I disagree. Check it all out at boonieshq.com. But let's get into the news. We have this from Newsweek.
Jake Tapper compares Joe Biden health cover up to Watergate. You don't say, Jake. I'm going to say this. I think it's worse than Watergate. And I'm going to add on top that Jake Tapper is what's what's the right word as a co-conspirator? It's substantially worse than Watergate. Although I do see in the chat, some people are mentioning that, you know, Woodward is
Worked in naval intelligence and his first big story was Watergate. I don't know if that's true, but someone tweeted it. The author of a bombshell book laying bare former President Joe Biden's alleged declining mental faculties during his presidency says the scandal may even be worse than Watergate.
He's right. It is. It's remarkable that Jake Tapper is so late to the game. This scandal is substantially worse than Watergate. You had the entirety of big tech censoring people. You had all of the corporate media, say Fox News, lying and covering this up, including Jake Tapper and a government, a White House administration. We don't know who was actually running the show.
And to be fair, my view largely at the time was that Joe Biden was running the show. And it's exemplified by the ineptitudes of the White House and their administration. I think Joe Biden was muttering to himself and people were like, OK, and kind of just doing whatever they wanted. Now, there are a lot of people that believe that there was a secret guiding hand behind the scenes, perhaps.
And Obama, maybe, I don't know. To me, it looked like Joe Biden sitting at the table was like, yeah, come on, guys. Afghanistan, get out of it. You know, Afghanistan. And then everybody at the table is just like looking at each other like, what, what, what did he just say? And they didn't know. So they kind of just did whatever they wanted. I think if Obama was actually in charge, you wouldn't have gotten chaos. You would have actually had a coherent presidency.
I think what actually happens is Joe Biden ain't with it and nobody wants to be the one to say, you know, maybe we should remove this guy. That being said, I think the plan from the DNC was here's how we get Biden out. We put him up at the debate. I also believe that his resignation letter from the candidacy wasn't written by him because it was published abruptly on his ex account without a statement from him.
I think the dude got to the point where they were like, we're taking over. But I do think largely not that he necessarily was in charge. I think his staff was, but they were acting like a bunch of chickens with their head cut off because Joe Biden, who was supposed to be the head of the administration, was infirm. Tapper was appearing with his co-author, Alex Thompson, to promote their book, Original Sin, in which several named insiders claim the former U.S. president was faltering physically and cognitively in a decline that was hidden from the American public.
Hidden to who? This is what I absolutely love about this whole narrative, is that Donald Trump largely wins because you hit nothing. We could see Joe Biden. We could see him fall up the stairs. Come on. Truant in a shop at a pressure. Batacaf care. Next, no recent. The dude had a new vote. We call those Biden isms or Biden's famous neologisms. Words he invented. Personally, my favorite, of course, is trinidad shop at a pressure.
Because it's a long one. I like Batacalf care. Batacalf care. What does that mean? I have no idea. I think he was trying to say better health care, maybe. True international cooperation under pressure, maybe. True international cooperation under pressure. It's like, how do you...
How do you speak? You know what? To be fair, when Jake Tapper heard Trinidad, Shabba, the pressure, he was thinking himself like, wow, he's able to say so much crammed into a small space. His brain must be working at 10 times the capacity of mine. To be fair, I think it may have been, but not for the reason Jake Tapper thought it was. Biden stepped aside on the presidential campaign trail last year amid fears of his health and cognitive abilities, which left Vice President Kamala Harris the top of the Democratic ticket.
She later lost to Donald Trump and some Democrats were furious at the bungled campaign. Everybody knows this. Now, the book by Tapper and Thompson, which has shot to the top of the bestseller charts, suggests that senior members of Biden's admin were aware of his fragile health for some time before he stepped down. Dude, let's be real. The guy has stage four cancer. It's in his bones. This is not something that just happens.
Now, I had the honor and the privilege of speaking with Dr. Drew when this news broke, I believe, a couple weeks ago, who explained this is even if it was aggressive cancer, it's a couple of years to find this. And there's no way that a routine exam and said, oh, boy, stage four cancer. Considering this man is a former president and was a president, he's getting the best health care imaginable. And if he's experiencing any kind of symptoms, they'd be like, homie, you got serious cancer and it's in your bones. So now.
We don't believe it. That being said, we live in this wacky world where, you know, my throat to Bill Maher. I had a great conversation with the guy, but he told me on Club Random, you watch too much Fox News. And I was like, and CNN and Politico and The New York Times. I read everything. Right. The fascinating thing is, I don't think Bill watches enough. We had a great conversation, by the way. But for people who live in MSNBC or CNN world,
Do they not know these things? I got to be honest. I don't think they live in the same world we do. I think, you know, people like Bill Maher, he's got a consequential, I call it the most consequential political show. And that is specifically because he's been in the air for like, what is it, 30 years. And his show has had a major impact culturally. I mean, maybe the viewership is there today. I don't know. My point is the show mattered. The show matters. Still, everybody wants to be on it. Steve Bannon goes on it.
But I don't believe that Bill Maher and these prominent liberal thinkers are on X. See, I go on Twitter and I follow liberals and conservatives. And so I see videos of Trump and they say, look, Trump's struggling to walk downstairs. And I'm like, not really. It was raining and it was wet and he was being very careful. He didn't fall. I'm not going to run down a slippery ramp either. And I'm 39 and physically active. I did watch the video of Joe Biden saying Trina Nesha out of pressure and Batikaf care.
And I had questions. But see, here's the thing. When Bill Maher says you watch too much Fox News, perhaps I should have said, no, actually, I'm just on Twitter all the time.
And you can look at who I follow. You can go to x.com slash Timcast. Do it right now. Follow me and look at who I follow. And you will see liberal journalists, left activists, conservatives. I try to try. I think I'm probably not following Harry Sisson, although he does pop in my timeline quite a bit. But I should follow him. I follow a lot of people. I want to know what they're thinking. Steve Bannon points this out. He watches MSNBC all day, says, I know what conservatives think. I want to know what they're saying and what they believe.
Indeed. Take a look at this. Rolling Stone says despite backlash, Jake Tapper's book on Biden's decline becomes a bestseller online. Original sin has prompted backlash and soul searching from Democrats and comes amid news of Biden's cancer diagnosis. That's right. Original sin.
Biden, President Biden's decline, its cover up and his disastrous choice to run again by Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson, who only recently discovered this. The best part is if they went outside of their offices in New York and walked up to literally any person and said, do you think Joe Biden's with it? They'd be like, yeah, probably not. That's why Donald Trump won the popular vote. To be fair, they need they need only ask three people to really get the ratio to the right probability.
I suppose in New York, you're gonna bump into a lot of liberals who have no idea what's going on. But I'd imagine you might bump into some people who are like, I'm a tourist and yeah, Biden ain't working. Let's roll. Fox News Post. That's a typo. Come on, mediaite. What are you doing?

was in control of his faculties when he wasn't drinking. And, you know, so the idea that, yeah, we don't mean to exonerate. The only reason that we have the Watergate thing is there because we quote Archibald Cox, who had interest in keeping that president propped up. Emily, here's why I agree this could be worse than Watergate. You know, I've been pulling out the policy implications of Biden's disconnection. Well, you get the point. I wonder if they have a quote.
They say Fox News raised eyebrows on Tuesday with a post on X asking if liberal outlets should face consequences over how they covered or did not cover President Joe Biden's mental fitness. The answer is yes, they should. But what are the consequences? Obviously, I don't think the government should go in and pull their licenses or shut them down. They do have free speech so they can pander for whatever they want. But I think they need market consequences. That's what I would advocate for. And if nothing else, people should stop watching them. Here we go.
New York Post says Jake Tapper slammed for rewriting history to cash in on Biden's decline in bombshell book despite defending ex-president while he was in the White House. I think I've got some of these tweets. Oh, boy. Yeah, this one's going massively viral. Stephen L. Miller says here's Jake Tapper incensed over Joe Biden's stutter and outraged over claims of Biden's cognitive decline. Every time he comes on stage or they turn to him, I'm like...
Joe, can you get it out? Let's get the words out, Joe. You kind of feel bad for him. How do you think it makes little kids with stutters feel when they see you make a comment like that? First and foremost, I had no idea that Joe Biden ever suffered from a stutter. I think what we see on stage with Joe Biden, Jake, is very clearly a cognitive decline. That's what I'm referring to. It makes me uncomfortable. You are no. This is so amazing. It's so amazing to me that. And try.
and figure out an answer. A cognitive decline. But when you're trying to tell me that what I was suggesting was a stuttering... I think that you were mocking his stutter. I had no idea, Joe Biden. Yeah, I think you were mocking his stutter, and I think you have absolutely no standing to diagnose somebody's cognitive decline. I would think...
I'm not diagnosing him. I'm saying that he's been joking enough today. He's not been joking around in five years ago. Nah, blah, blah. Sure. I'm not diagnosing him. What I'm saying, Jake, is that we can clearly see
I have one last question for you, Laura. You can't... And it's very concerning to a lot of people that this could be the leader of the free world. That is all I'm saying. I genuinely feel sorry for Joe Biden. I appreciate it. I'm sure... Yeah. And that's Jake Tapper. And that's not the only one. I think there's a bunch of other ones. I don't know if I haven't pulled up...
We've got other clips of Jake where we can mock him in the recent. But there was so many of these instances where Jake Tapper took personal offense, got emotional and didn't report the news. If you're a journalist and you want to interview somebody, I'm going to tell you.
You'd say, Laura Trump, what do you think of this interview that people are talking about? She'd say cognitive decline. And then the journalist could simply say, is this just your personal opinion? Or are you getting information from, say, medical? Is this just you viewing it? And then she'd say, yeah, I mean, I'm watching this and here's what I think. And your response should be, thank you for your thoughts. You are Laura Trump.
Journalists aren't supposed to get angry and emotional, but that's what it's turned into. And these people have the nerve to say things like, Tim Pool's not a journalist because only we're journalists. Bro, you guys lie about everything, okay? You lie about everything. I'm not going to sit here and say that Donald Trump is a spring chicken. He's an old man, but he's spry. And what does that mean? It means he's got energy for an old guy. Now, with all due respect to Trump, the man,
I don't know how he does it. Of course, they try and push lies about him. But as far as I can tell, he's on TV almost every single day doing the job. I've met him in person. He's with it. It is kind of funny to hear, though, right? We live in this world where I can tell you I can't. I'm a guy sitting in a room right now. I'm staring. There's a little little camera ring. That's all I see is a lens and the reflection in it a little bit. And most of you at home, you're watching this. You're looking at a screen.
So who am I? Right. What's the difference between, say, like me and Jake Tapper? Now, me, I can tell you that being somebody who personally met Donald Trump, I was like, the man's with it. He walks up, he smiles, he looks at everybody, shakes hands. He makes comments about them. He went around. He was there all day at Mar-a-Lago when I met him, met up at the Libertarian Convention. And I have to say there was it was rather mundane there.
You know, what did I told Adam Friedland this? I went on his show and I was like, he's kind of boring. And it's like, oh, meeting the president. So boring. What a what a humble brag. I'm like, no, I like my point was you think Donald Trump is this grandiose personality is going to like levitate in the room and crack a joke. It's not you walk up to him. It's like, nice to meet you. Thank you. Thank you for coming. I really do appreciate it. Like anybody else. And he was with it. The funny thing is that Democrats say the exact same thing I'm saying about Trump, about Biden. Now, my question to you is, how come we're always right?
Now, that's my question. How come we're always right? How come we were right about lab leak? And I'm not going to give myself full marks for this one. I'm I'm a middle of the road guy. And people would say, Tim Pool's a fence sitter, blah, blah. No, I you know, I will. This started when someone commented on a video of mine like 10 years ago and said, Tim Pool's a milquetoast fence sitter. And I rolled with it. I was like, absolutely. My position is give me the proof and I will accept it. Show me the video and I will analyze it for Donald Trump.
He's an old man. He's no spring chicken, but he's doing the job and we can watch it. Those that are paying attention and watching his speeches, watching his videos, sometimes he slurs. It's happened. But for the most part, it's like I'm not really concerned. He seems to be sitting there signing the executive orders and doing the work. Joe Biden, we all watched and he was not all with it. Not at all. In fact, quite barely with it in any capacity.
And then Jake Tapper came out and, oh, I love this one. Joe Scarborough saying, I called him cogent and I undersold him. This is the best version of Joe Biden ever. How many of you guys have ever seen Tenacious D?
Pick of Destiny. One of my favorite movies of all time. So anyway, for those who don't know, I just absolutely love this scene. They go play open mic night. It's Jack Black and Kyle Gass. And the open mic host, who is it? Paul F. Tompkins, I think the guy's name is. And he's like, next up we have, you know, and he names them. He doesn't care and he's blonde. He walks away. Then they play and nobody likes them or something.
But in Jack Black's imagination and dream of what happens, the guy goes up on stage and Paul Tompkins, my co-host, goes, this next band is the greatest band, period. And he just like way over the top, banging on the table, screaming. And that is the fictional reality that Jack Black's character wanted to live in. I think actually he's called Jack Black in the movie, so whatever.
That's what I see with Joe Scarborough. This version of Joe Biden is the smartest version I have ever seen. Yeah, dude, were you dreaming or on drugs? Perhaps both. Media, it says Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson on explosive Biden book media cover it cover up and why the view won't have them on the air. Oh, no, the view won't have them on the air. Harry Sisson chimes in.
Naomi Biden just slammed Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson's book about Joe Biden really well written because they're going two directions on this one. For the people who are truly captured, they're going to maintain Joe Biden was always the right choice. And Jake Tapper's con, the game he's playing is they're trying to go after the middle of the road audience. They've got Project Sam, the quest for the liberal Joe Rogan and the Jake Tapper. How could we have missed this one? I can't believe they lied to us. Believe me.
She says, just read a copy of this silly book. And if anyone is curious for a review from someone who lived it firsthand, this book is political fairy smut for the permanent professional chattering class. That's you and Joe Biden. What are you talking about? But see, this is part of the game. The Biden camp is going to say you are the chattering class of elites. OK, like that. That's that's all of them. That's they're trying to act like they are anti establishment. Check this clip out.
Jake Tapper, at the age of 56 and after 30 years in what one may loosely call journalism, pretends to have just woken up and realized what is, in fact, the first axiom of Journalism 101. Politicians and governments lie and journalists shouldn't blindly believe them. And I think that we need to be skeptical of everything that we are told by people in power, journalists.
And I mean, that obviously should be the mantra of being a journalist to begin with. If your mother tells you she loves you, get a second source. But we just need to remember that like politicians lie. White Houses lie. Power is an aphrodisiac. And we just need to all remember that and not take at face value anything that we're. Hey, I got an idea. I didn't plan this, but let's go Jake Tapper net worth. Now, these net worth searches usually aren't pretty good.
Otnewhiphop.com, an excellent source, I would add. That's a joke, by the way. Says he's worth $16 million. Google...
A.I. Overview says that his salary is $7 million per year. I'm going to estimate that if he's getting $7 million a year, his net worth is substantially higher than $16 million, unless he's buying lots and lots of chimichangas, which I doubt. So basically, he gets paid $7 million a year. He probably only spends tens of thousands per month. The rest of those millions he's going to put into hard assets, which likely will accrue value. So I'd estimate his net worth way higher than that. So power is an aphrodisiac, he says. What about you?
See, there's two ways to look at this. He took the opportunity to cash in on a book, which is now a bestseller, because he's a scumbag. He saw the writing on the wall. No one believes Biden is fit, and no one did. And it was clear after the debate. So he gets together with his buddy and says,
You know, I'd love to have a brain probe because I just want I want these people to be exposed. We know they know they know we know they know and they lie anyway because they're going after the lowest common denominator, anti-Trump, low hanging fruit. Now, the bigger picture may be this is part of how we regain the confidence of the people. The corporate press led people on a wild goose chase, a wild goose chase.
claiming Joe Biden was fine when he wasn't. A lot of people blindly believed it. And they said he was, they watched MSNBC, they watched CNN, and they said, all of this is true. And then they watched Joe Biden debate, and they said, what did I just watch? There's that one Trump reply guy. I'm not going to say his name, though. But he tweeted out, Joe Biden's going to ride in on a bicycle, run to the podium, slam a bottle of water, bang on a table and say, sup, bitch, something like that.
And everyone's like, bro, have you ever seen Joe Biden walk? And then after the debate, he said, what the F did I just watch? These people genuinely thought that Biden was coherent and capable because the media lied about everything. Well, once they realized the media was lying, what's their defense? Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson coming out and saying we missed this one. Oopsie daisy. And here we go. But I'll tell you what matters to me. Take a look at this.
From Fox News, Watchdog finds no evidence Biden knew of crucial climate executive orders, demands answers on who signed Autopen. Power of the Future is calling on Congress to investigate the validity of former President Joe Biden's signatures. Indeed, a pro-energy group is renewing its call for an investigation into over a half dozen Biden admin executive actions related to climate that it believes should be deemed null and void due to them being signed by an Autopen without any public comment from Joe Biden.
confirming his knowledge of them. Power of the Future, a nonprofit organization that advocates for American energy jobs, reviewed eight Biden executive orders that it says were significant shifts in domestic energy policy and said it found no evidence of the president speaking about any of them publicly, raising concerns the orders were signed by Autopen and that he was not aware of them. Okay, I say we void all executive orders that were signed by Autopen. I don't care, Trump's or otherwise. Let's roll, baby.
The issue is clear, my friends, and I think we all know it. The pardons should be vacated. The executive order should be vacated. It's time to use power. Maybe the Republican Party, as we know today, doesn't want to. But I do, and I look forward to doing so.
That's going to wrap up the first portion of the live show. We do have an amazing interview coming up. Ashton Forbes, I believe, will be joining us. And we're going to talk about UFOs and directed energy weapons. The government may or may not have capability. It's going to be a little wild conversation. I'm a skeptic, mind you. But there are interesting bits in the news that have been going viral related to UAPs and members of Congress having these hearings. So it should be interesting nonetheless. That will be up at 4 p.m.

Ladies and gentlemen, your new Hermione Granger for the Harry Potter remake series on HBO. And I don't really care all that much, to be completely honest. It's been a lot of controversy because the young child who will be playing Hermione Granger is, I guess, swarthy. And I got to be honest, I don't really care all that much. And I've seen some people getting really angry in general because it's a race swap. But to be fair...
It's only a minor deviation in terms of the expectations of Hermione. So I ain't all crying about it. However, I will say I do hope this flops. I think the original series and films were fantastic, though they did change some things about the book. We get it. They do. I am just offended by race swapping in general. And so, you know, a lot of people are saying they don't want to get into this political controversy because it's a little kid. And it's like, you know, it's like a little girl.
little girl. She's going to play Hermione Granger and like, who cares? Right? Yeah. So I don't, I've got no problem talking about that stuff. And I'll say it again. I don't think it's as big a deal, but I do just generally despise race swapping, which brings us to the bigger issue. And that is they're making snap a Snape black. And look, man, to, to a certain degree, my attitude's always been, uh, I don't really care all that much about race swapping in certain contexts.
But when the character is described specifically in a way, then I'm kind of like you're not bringing to life the character we hoped to see. And there are – there is an image painted of what Snape is, and Alan Rickman did a fantastic job. The reason why I don't care as much as Hermione Granger is –
It's not as big a deviation from the expectation of what Hermione is. They've tried to do this thing in the past where they're like, Hermione is actually black. But everyone's like, yeah, come on, nah. Even the woke left were like, no, no, she's not. But...
This young girl seems fine for her money. I'm not going to rag on these kids. You know, I look forward to seeing what they pull off. That being said, Snape is a gangly, frail white man who was bullied and they're in Britain. And so this is the issue where it's like, guys, we know what you're doing. We get what you're doing. But here's why stuff doesn't work. OK, this is this is the issue I take with all the race swapping stuff.
We want to see the characters again. And this goes exactly as to why I don't care about their young girl playing Hermione. I wish her the best. I think people should chill a little bit, but I do understand the anger over race swapping. People are calling this girl Hermione Gonzalez. And I'm like, oh, so what? Come on. The changing of Snape, who is described a certain way to someone who is going to be described in a very different way, takes away what we hope to see. Here's my point.
People are going to call it race or whatever. Shut up. I don't care. When we read the books and in our mind we draw a picture of what we see, this young actress playing Hermione deviates a little bit, but not too much. I think it's fine. Shifting from a thin, gangly, long, slim hair, pale guy to a tall, short-haired black man. Obviously, they're going to give him a costume and everything. It's a major deviation from what we want to see come to life. That is to say...
I largely don't care when actors play roles. I defended, I thought Idris Elba was fantastic as Heimdall. And a bunch of people were upset saying like, Heimdall is a white Norse god. He shouldn't be a black man. And I'm like, I think he did a good job. People were mad saying, we can't have a black James Bond. James Bond is white. And I'm like, Idris Elba can be James Bond. I'm not crying about that. You know, there's, it's a fine line, I guess. The Little Mermaid is a really good example of the point I'm trying to make. There's a line too far. They took this, um,
What was her name? Like Haley Berry or something. I forget the actress's name. Everybody has an image of what Ariel looks like. And that's the point. Heimdall, nobody had an image of what Heimdall looked like. There's no comic book where people were like, we all read the book. It was a multi-billion dollar franchise and everyone knows what Heimdall looks like. So when Idris Elba enters the fray as an actor playing Heimdall, it's just him. He's the character. It was a character based on a Norse god who was written for these movies. And I don't care.
James Bond is a secret agent. I mean, they tried doing a black female James Bond and now it's like, come on, James Bond is a guy. His name is James. There's a lore about how
James Bond is a code name, and that's why it's always different, but whatever. I think it would be fantastic because I think he's a great actor, and I don't care that he's black. He could be James Bond, I guess. Some people don't like that. My point is we got these classic Harry Potter films, a multibillion-dollar franchise. The young girl playing Hermione is fair-skinned with dark hair, and some people are noticing that she's not ethnically white or whatever, and so they race-swapped it to Mexican. I don't even think she's Mexican, by the way. They're calling her...
I'm assuming she's British or something. Maybe she is. I have no idea. I don't really care that much. She does not change all that much more expectation of what Hermione Granger might look like. Snape does. And now some people are going to say, well, you're just basically saying black people can't play certain characters. Well, I don't expect a white guy to play Shaft or Black Panther either. Like if they remade Black Panther and had a white dude play T'Challa, we'd all be like, huh?
Like characters are written in specific ways. So James Bond can be whatever. Like, you're right. Like, I don't really care. Heimdall, I don't really care. But for this stuff, you are remaking what we already have an image and a vision of who these characters are from the movies and from the descriptions in the book. That's the issue I take with how they do this race swapping. I'm going to tell you why they're doing it. In the first films, J.K. Rowling stated that
They'll make the movies, but they got to be all British actors. And that was brilliant. She was basically saying, we don't know Hollywood coming in here and then choosing all these people. We want to be a British film. It is a British written by British. And that was masterfully done. Now Hollywood's getting involved with HBO and they have quotas. So they had to figure out which character was now going to be a person of color. And they chose Snape. And I was like, OK, you know, it's really funny. This is an article from 2015.
J.K. Rowling, we all know you didn't write Hermione as black in the Harry Potter books, but it doesn't matter. Your tweets about Hermione's race were an afterthought, but it's okay. We're happy you're helping to add diversity to the franchise. Back in 2015, she basically said, well, actually, Hermione was described as being short with frizzled hair. She was black. And it's like, no, she wasn't. Shut up. They do have this video. Where is this? There's a video somewhere. Look at this. Come on.
Alan Rickman embodied Snape. Alan Rickman died. OK, we honor Alan Rickman. We want to have someone embody the same character. And they're not doing that. They've brought in a different race character. OK, I think there's a certain line where certain I thought I had this thing pulled up. I guess I don't. There's a funny video where it shows it's called every word spoken by a person of color in the Harry Potter franchise in every movie. And it's six minutes long. That's it.
In eight films spanning like dozens of hours, only six minutes of lines spoken by people who are not white. You know why? Because they're in Britain. It's stupid.
So they're obsessed with race. So instead of just saying we're going to make these characters as described and representative of what people expect, they do race-hopping garbage to adhere to the DEI quotas like that article said in 2015. Here's the point. Ariel didn't work because of nostalgia. And I think this is going to run into a similar problem. We all saw Disney's Little Mermaid. And it was a young, white, female fish person with red hair.
They decided to get a young black girl and dye her hair red, bleach it and then dye it red. And I'm like, I actually find that the most offensive part. You wanted to have a young black girl play this character, but her hair had to be red, but her skin didn't matter. And so I'm like, why not just let her have black hair? And they said, I got a response from all these people. And they were like, because the book describes her hair as red. And I'm like, yeah, and her skin is white.
Like, this is stupid. You can't have your cake and eat it, too. I have no problem if they're like, we're going to cast a young black woman to play Ariel. Then don't dye her hair. But we're trying to be true to the book. Then cast a white woman who represents the character better for the nostalgia. We all feel we want to see this character brought to live action life. And they did not do it.
Some people said Will Smith wasn't blue like Robin Williams or whatever. I don't know, whatever. I said, genie's magic and that's harder to do. And Will Smith's a famous actor. So I'm like, I'm not crying about that. But I will tell you, these movies bombed. Little Mermaid failed. When they do this race swapping stuff, people get frustrated because they have a memory and a feeling attached to that. And they want to see it brought back to life. That's why we like remakes. So when they do things like this, people get upset about it.
Now you've got Miles Morales in the Spider-Man universe, right? And they did Into the Spider-Verse. And actually, what was the first one? Was it Into the Spider-Verse? The movie did really well. It was Sony. Why? Because it's a different dimension with a different character and a different backstory. And he's friends with Peter Parker. They didn't just erase Peter Parker. The Spider-Verse narrative had been around for a long time. And there's a full multiverse of different kinds of Spider-Man. So when they make Miles Morales, some people said all they did was create an Afro, you know, I'm sorry, um,
Afro-Puerto Rican, I think. He's half Puerto Rican, half black character and it's race-hopping. I'm like, they made a new character. That's fine. I don't like the erasure of characters that we've grown attached to with memories and all that stuff. That's the problem. So again, I throw it back to, you know, Hermione Gonzalez or whatever. She's fair-skinned.
She's a little kid. I think it'll be fine. My bigger question is going to be, can she act and embody the character properly? And I don't think who she is and what she represents deviates all that much, and that's fine. I think it'll be okay. But come on, guys.
I understand the issue is that J.K. Rowling didn't write a story containing a bunch of black characters, but to just take one at random and then cast a black person to play what is obviously a white character, it's just lazy. It's lazy, and I find it to be offensive. I find it to be racist against black people, but whatever. Everyone's complaining. I'm not sure I care all that much. I don't think they should be remaking it at all, but I think it's a disservice to Alan Rickman's legacy,
And I think these people live in this stupid world. I'm somewhere in the middle, right? Like I said, Idris Elba playing James Bonner Heimdall, I think is fantastic. He's a great actor. And those are characters that we're not as attached to because the characters change. Like Heimdall is a god. We didn't see a movie before with Thor and Heimdall and Idris Elba did a fine job. I didn't care at all.
Harry Potter has visual legacy and descriptions that we want to see recreated. That's why the Disney failed. Our remakes failed, I believe, because it breaks nostalgia. And I think this is going to come into the same problem. I know some people are upset about the Hermione thing, too. I'm just a bit more tolerant, I guess. We'll see. I'm going to leave it there. Stay tuned. That'll do it for the day. Follow me on Instagram at TimCast, and we'll see you all in the next bit.
