Deep Dive

Key Insights

What were the two major incidents discussed in the podcast?

The first incident was a ramming attack in New Orleans, followed by a shootout, where the individual was reportedly radicalized and inspired by ISIS. The second incident involved a Cybertruck in front of Trump Tower in Las Vegas, where the driver, a 37-year-old American service member, allegedly detonated an explosive device.

Why does the speaker dismiss the false flag narrative for the New Orleans and Las Vegas incidents?

The speaker dismisses the false flag narrative because the incidents benefit Trump's narrative about border security and homegrown terror threats. The New Orleans attacker was an American radicalized online, and the Las Vegas incident involved a service member, making it unlikely to be a government-orchestrated false flag.

What is the speaker's stance on the H-1B visa program?

The speaker believes the H-1B visa program is widely abused and broken, often used to hire non-citizens for low wages instead of skilled workers. They advocate for shutting it down temporarily to reform the system and protect American workers.

What is the speaker's opinion on immigration and border security?

The speaker supports securing the border and overhauling immigration systems, including the H-1B visa program. They are open to a temporary immigration moratorium to address the abuse of the system and the influx of illegal immigrants.

What does the speaker think about the concept of 'woke right'?

The speaker argues that 'woke right' is not a valid concept because the right does not have a cult-like adherence to conservative social orthodoxy, unlike the left's adherence to liberal social orthodoxy. They criticize James Lindsay for mislabeling certain right-wing figures as 'woke right.'

Well, my friends, it was supposed to be a happy new year and already things have gotten particularly insane with two terror attacks. It looks like we don't know all the details for sure, but it does appear that at least one of them is a confirmed terror attack. Now, for those that haven't been following, there are two big stories. There's a third mass tragedy incident, but let's start at the beginning. This was a ramming.

in New Orleans, followed by a shootout. The individual has been named, seems he was radicalized, inspired by ISIS. The FBI lied about the initial story, claiming it wasn't a terror attack, despite the fact they found an ISIS flag. They now believe this man was radicalized. There's a lot of details we're still waiting on. And so what I will say, just to start, is we're officially not supposed to be back until the 6th. And I decided to come in as we arrived home and we're still, there's nobody here, it's just me.

But considering the massive breaking news, I'm like, let's let's pull this up and talk about what we can. The second incident involves a cyber truck in front of Trump Tower in Las Vegas. The strange thing about it is it appears the individual who is driving the vehicle and is accused of detonating an explosive device was an American service member.

37-year-old individual. So people, of course, are saying perhaps it was a false flag. Both these individuals had served in the U.S. military, apparently in, I believe they served in the same military base, at the same military base. So a lot of people have questions and there is a narrative floating around about false flag attacks. But I'm going to tell you why I don't agree with that. And within this

There's a lot of conversation about over the past couple of weeks, H-1B and immigration. And there is a lot to be said about where we currently are at ideologically. And so considering this will be a single special still on vacation breakdown of some news events and some ideological stuff.

That's all I got for today, but I'll talk about a wide range of issues. So, of course, Biden has addressed the nation after the terror attack confirms suspect was inspired by ISIS. Many saying, look, this guy was an American. OK, you don't need to be radicalized some camp in the Middle East. It appears that the individual may have been radicalized online. We don't know for sure. Let me say this first. A lot of details we still don't know.

And so this is where we're currently at. There are many people who have lost their life. I believe the death count is 15 in New Orleans tragedy. And one person died in the Vegas incident, which was the driver. Seven people were injured. I don't believe the false flag narratives. And I'll tell you why. It's strange because, you know, I said the individual in front of Trump Tower was it appeared to be a message to Trump and Elon. You rent a cyber truck, you blow up in front of Trump Tower like people kind of get the message.

Now, why would an individual do this? And why would it not be a false flag? Well, let's talk about why it may be a false flag first. What, as Alex Jones has long said, key bono, who benefits? So the question then becomes, with these incidents and the individuals behind them, what would make you believe it was a false flag? Well, aside from the fact that people don't trust the government and the government has engaged in false flags before, we'll put those aside because

That doesn't say anything to the current moment. We know false flags happen, Gulf of Tonkin, for instance, but this particularly. Well, let's take a look at what the ramifications would be and why someone may want something like this to happen. It's an individual who, according to some reports, I don't know if this has been debunked or whatever, but the initial reports were that the individual had recently come through Eagle Pass, Texas. Don't know what that means. Seriously. I don't know if it means anything. The guy was an American, right? And he was radicalized online.

So this man who was supporting ISIS reportedly came through Eagle Pass. You see where this is going. Like, how did he get through? Well, he was an American. It wasn't very hard. So that narrative is out the window. What is the benefit of a false flag like this? Well, it could justify lockdowns, locking down the border. I mean to say it could justify shutting down the border.

It could justify going hard against perceived terror, increasing the power of the surveillance state, your typical deep state stuff. Now, of course, as I already mentioned, this guy was an American. So what does the Eagle Pass thing have to do with it? Well, you don't it doesn't need to be overt. You are in the know. I am in the know to a certain degree. I mean, I've been on vacation, so I've only been following this somewhat. But for the average person who hears the narrative, this guy came through Eagle Pass, which is what I heard people talking about yesterday outside of work.

The narrative for them is we need to secure the border. Trump was right. Now, even though they may come out later and say this guy was an American, it still benefits that narrative. Let's take a look at the guy in front of Trump Tower with the Cybertruck. What's the benefit there? Here's why I don't believe these are false flags. These benefit Trump, a crazy guy inspired by ISIS killing people. It's not that it's a benefit. OK, I don't mean to say that. That sounds crass. Right. What I mean is Trump was right there.

He had been calling out the free flow of terror through the border. And there is a fear that there's going to be more of this. And of the homegrown terror threats, the left keeps saying it's the right. But this just proves we were right. So what I mean to say when I say key bone of who benefits, I don't mean to say that literally anybody benefited from the attack because that's that's crass. That what I mean to say. I'm saying that Trump was proven right by this. So when you're looking at a government false flag action.

The question of who benefits from the attack. Well, ISIS certainly doesn't. That's why I don't believe it's a false flag. That would imply that those who support Trump and his ideology intentionally orchestrated this for some reason, because it certainly don't benefit the left. Biden now looks worse than ever. People have been

furious over the border issues. And then you take a look at a guy who blew up a cyber truck in front of a Trump building. And this guy's been identified as Matthew Liefelsberger. That's what they're saying. That's just the report coming out right now. We don't know why. And some people are saying, why would a serviceman do this? Because there are anti-Trump far leftists. Once again, the fear is these crazy people want to kill you. So let me put it this way.

Um, I think there are many leftists who are violent and want to engage in violence and have proven that with the George Floyd riots and the left keeps saying, oh, but the right is so violent. The right is so violent. Well, I don't know about this guy. I don't know what his ideology is. But once again, Trump Tower being attacked in Vegas and a cyber truck being blown up.

First of all, the explosion, this is really kind of hilarious, actually, in a crude way. But the guy, look, some people are saying it may have been an accident, like he had a bunch of fireworks in his car and they blew up. But the report is that he had a detonation device. The Cybertruck contained the blast because it's stainless steel. I mean, all right. It actually protected the front of the Trump building. But let's be real.

What I'm trying to say is, look, sometimes crazy people do crazy things. Radicalized people hate Donald Trump and Elon Musk. They're claiming that Trump and Elon, they've been trying to get Trump and Elon to fight forever. And then you get this other guy who's radicalized by ISIS. Yeah, look at Syria. Look at the protests of people saying globalize the intifada.

This guy who was from the United States and living in Texas, people are saying, how does that make sense that an American guy who served in the military, how does it make sense that you've got 3000 people marching through the street in New York saying globalize the Intifada? Radicalization happens. And these people, not all of them, but many of them were in Times Square celebrating Hamas.

Now, of course, many of these well-to-do liberal types are like they were not celebrating Hamas. They were just criticizing a genocide. No, they literally had pictures of BLM posted a picture of a parachuter celebrating Hamas. So when you have a group of people who are celebrating Hamas, would you be at all surprised there are other elements in the United States who may actually take things to the next step? I think the false flag narrative is silly.

So we have this from the Post Malone as well. Driver controlled detonation system that blew up Cybertruck outside Trump Hotel in Las Vegas. I want to I'm going to say something right now. And it's kind of crazy. You know, and a shout out to Alex Stein. We were this close to we were to buy our tickets to New Orleans for New Year's. I kid you not. It's kind of wild.

I've never been there. I've been all over the country. There's only a few states I haven't been to. I've been all over the world. And I was talking with Allison, like, what should we do for New Year's? You know, we have Christmas on a Wednesday and New Year's on a Wednesday, so we can't do any real work, right? It's the second. Nobody's here, but I can turn the computer on. I can press record, right? So here I am.

And we were like, let's go to New Orleans. I've never been. Allison's been. I've never been. And Alex, of course, good friend, said that he has extensive experience in New Orleans. We could hang out there. And then this happens, and it's horrifying. It's just absolutely terrifying. And I've got to be honest, Vegas was our second choice. This is crazy. It's crazy. It's creepy. But let's do this.

Let's talk about, well, first I'll show you this story. Hundreds of activists call for Intifada on New Year's Day in New York. The only solution is Intifada revolution. This is what I'm talking about with radicalization. These people are radicalized. What they're calling for is nuts. And I don't like you're allowed to criticize Israel by all means do it. But these people are, are on the periphery of advocating for extremism. I'm not saying these individuals marching in New York hold those views, but the slippery slope goes in every direction.

So let's do this. I didn't get to weigh on the H-1B thing all that much, but I did have a few tweets that came out over the past couple of weeks. And, well, let's talk about H-1B. Elon Musk, of course, got into some hot water. I'm not going to rehash all the details because it is an old story, but I do want to mention that H-1B is largely abused. For those that don't know, it's supposed to be the skilled workers visa that a company says...

Man, we just can't find anybody to do this job. And we have no choice but to hire non-citizens from outside the country and bring them here. Well, Elon Musk said, F yourself in the face or whatever. I will die on this hill. You have no idea the lengths I'll go to war to protect H-1B, blah, blah, blah. And everybody's fighting over it. And I'm sitting back being like, dude, Elon had long said that it certainly needs to be fixed.

And what ended up happening is a lot of people ended up getting their Twitter verification removed. And they were booted from the, I guess you can call it the partner program. Okay, so there's a lot to break down here. And there's a lot of details that I can't get into. What I can say is, I don't think the issue was criticizing Elon directly. I do think that's an exact, an aggravating factor in why some of these people got banned. But the story here was that

Many people were calling out Elon. All of a sudden, they found themselves without blue check marks and their subscriptions had been turned off. Now, some people, it's just weird how like I'm not even doing the show and people are claiming I have opinions I don't have. They're like, Tim supports this stuff from Elon. And I was like, what is going on? Because what I said was it looked like an op. Let me explain. It is. I'm not wrong. There's a wave of.

accounts with random usernames like it'll say like Jay Smith, 53963219, no verification and 10 followers. And they're spewing the most racist, insane garbage I've ever seen. And I'm like, yeah, these people are attacking Elon, getting Elon riled up. Elon then calls out racists and then run of the mill conservatives think they're being called racist. And I'm like, that's not

Then they go, it's an op that I'm angry with Elon for supporting H-1B. You are correct. That's not. You're allowed to be. I think H-1B is widely abused and broken. It needs to be. I would say, let's shut it down and then figure something else out. That's what I said. I said, I have no problem compromising with the immigration moratorium people because the system's been so massively abused. I understand where they're coming from. I'm a fan of immigration. I think brain drain is extremely good. The United States targets the best talent from the other countries and rips their economic chances.

I think it's a good thing. That's how you keep America as the dominant superpower without going to war. We don't want war in Eastern Europe. We don't want war in the Middle East. We take the best and the brightest. We dominate global economics. That's how you do it. You don't need to be blowing up kids or anything like that. However, this action can't be taken at the expense of the American worker because the system just crumbles and you have nothing left. So anyway, on the Elon thing, let me clarify my position.

I think H-1B is largely broken, massively abused as apparent by all of the people who have insane examples of like, you know, a bank trying to hire someone on H-1B for like 40K a year or something. It's like, dude, come on. You can find people to do these entry-level jobs. H-1B is supposed to be, I need a top-level PhD.

Well, what ends up happening is this one account, conservative OG got nuked. And with it, like 40 individuals got nuked. Many of them were saying it was because they criticized Elon. I would say that was probably what opened the door and made them targets. However.

The conservative OG account was posting hate speech. That's right. Good old classic hate speech in one particular incident, accusing, I believe, Trump's pick for, you know, a guy to oversee stuff and someone I believe who worked for Elon of being a gremlin and saying that the shape of his head and all these things like you get the point.

I am not saying people should be banned for hate speech. Not at all. I'm saying that was the justification most likely. And I believe that many of those who got their checkmarks removed actually said, hey, look, they're accusing me of hate speech. Yeah, we're going back down that same rabbit hole as we did with Jack Dorsey. And I ain't here for it. If the issue is that people have had their accounts banned outright because they were engaging in hate speech, that's wrong. But I'm also going to add to this, guys,

If you're paying for a service and the worst thing Elon did was say, you can keep talking, but I'm not going to let you make money off it. I'm sorry. Like you have no right to someone's financial services. This is the weirdest thing to me. I've said this of YouTube since the beginning. I will say it now. When YouTube was removing people from recommendations, I said, yeah, it sucks, but I have no problem with it. I am personally aggrieved and offended that they would dare target me.

But you have what I think is that YouTube shouldn't be able to block your content so that people can't go to it if they choose to for political speech. However, if YouTube says we are not going to run ads on your content, that's an ad agency saying we don't have to work with you.

Banning someone's speech is different from saying we're going to sell ads for your company. Think about this. We have ad sales. Oh, yeah, by the way. How stupid must all of those people feel? Man, all of these the Jews people being like, Tim Pool's owned by the Daily Wire. None of it's true. Whatever, man. That's an aside.

You have no right to be monetized by somebody. That means they're selling a service for you. If they don't want to sell ads on your content, that's too bad. If I go to an ad network and I say, guys, we want to sell ads, and they go, the advertisers don't want to buy on your platform, I can't go, I am being censored. No, I can still post all the content that I want. Now, deranking and hiding content, if I choose to follow someone, I should see their posts. So I'm not a fan of that stuff. That being said, I'll say it once again. The weird bots that, and they're bots, dude. I'm sorry. I'm sorry.

You know, you know, they're bots. Let me let me clarify. What happens is I'll say, hey, these people posting insane racist things are bots. And then some dude who's not goes, how dare you call me a bot? I'm not I'm not calling you about. I'm saying that when I post something like this is really, really funny because bots can't understand nuance. And so what they end up doing is they respond to your posts seemingly with nonsense because the way they target is actually quite funny. What they'll do is.

They'll put you in a category. Tim Pool is, you know, pro Elon or whatever. Someone made a meme where it was like Team USA versus Team Elon, and they put me on Team Elon. And Elijah Schaefer was like, why is Tim on Team Elon? Tim's been calling out H1B the whole time. That's right. It's because I call it the bots. And there are bots. I'll explain to you how I know. When I post something like, hey, this looks like an op. They're trying to make Elon fight MAGA.

The people running the bot attack say Tim Pool is on this side. Send these bots to attack him. Then when I because I was rightly calling out, dude, like seeing a dude whose avatar is a has no photo and he's just posting a bunch of racial slurs. I'm like the conservatives and the Trump supporters have not been marketed by people going online and spamming racial slurs. The bots have when I see things like that that are killing the argument.

And there are many who agree with me. It appears that the op is intended to smear the right who is critical of H1B, making people fight with Elon and fight amongst each other. This puts me in Elon camp. Here's how I know they're bots. Okay, like I said, I then put out a post and I'll say something like,

H1B is clearly abused, should be shut down, and we need to reform this system. And then I get a response from like 17 responses. I've got millions of followers, 2.3 million followers. So I'll get like instantly in the snap of a finger accounts with long names. It'll be like, you know, JBiz43983911263. Yeah, something auto-generated that when the AI is trying to put a name in or just they say recommended name.

And it says something like, you're on the wrong side of history. America first. We have to protect American workers. And I'm like, why is this this account attacking me for saying something that they should be agreeing with? This is how I know when they're bots. Maybe for most people, they don't see this because they don't have as many followers. We're not targeted by this because they're large, high profile accounts. But I start laughing and I'm like, oh, the bots targeting is askew. Here's what I think on H1B.

I do not care about skilled workers at all from other countries. I do not care for this idea that we can't hire American because Americans aren't good at their jobs. If you come to me and say, Tim, I have gone through the list of every possible American and they all suck relative to the guy in India. I'll say I don't care. The continued path of hiring outside is only going to make the problem worse.

You have to refine the edges. Yes, you have bad American workers. I get it. But you have to work with what you've got to make America better. If we keep extracting our labor force and our manufacturing base, you only further the downward spiral of this country. There is no, as Sam Hyde, he made a great video. There is no number that's going to make America fix itself. It's not an economic drive. There are things that are not quantifiable.

These are things that Sam Hyde articulated masterfully in his video that went viral over the past couple of weeks. And I have only lightly touched on. I think he exemplified it and he broke it down better than anyone else has. But it's an idea many of us have discussed. The idea of waking up on Christmas morning and you run downstairs and there under the tree is a bunch of presents. And your parents are like, open your presents from Santa. You look outside, there is snow. Maybe it's not you. I get it. Because you might live in a southern area with no snow. That's fine. I'm just talking about

These warm moments that we have as a culture, as a family, of going to the mall and there's Santa Claus, movies are made reflecting these things. These are things that are not quantifiable that we love and cherish. There is no number that restores these things, and there is no numerical value to them other than we as people love our culture, our traditions, and want them to exist. We think they're good. I do.

I would rather see crappier products. I would rather see less efficient companies if it means we are rebuilding America. That being said, I'm not an enemy of H-1B in its entirety. I think the system is largely broken. The idea that 85,000 people per year are going to be allowed to come in and they're only skilled workers is fine. The problem is the abuse. And if they're going to abuse it, I say shut it down. So here's the funny thing on the bots.

That's my opinion. And I long have been calling this out. I didn't make a video on it. But I have people tweeting at me as though I'm saying the opposite. So that's how I know they're bots. So I made a post about how to mind break a social media influencer or a media personality. And it wasn't about the H1B issue at all. Actually, it was about some YouTubers. I was watching YouTube videos and I saw some things people were posting. And I was like, these people are being mind broken. Here's how it works. Anyone can do this.

I don't recommend it. I think it's evil, but I don't know the legality on it. Here's what you do. Bot farms cost five bucks. That's right. In India and Turkey and China and what other countries are there? I think Ukraine, actually. I don't know about Ukraine anymore.

But in these countries, they operate bot farms. And you've seen the videos where you'll have one guy and there will be like 300 phones and they're all plugged into a computer. The computer program can operate each of the phones independently. The phones generate unique IDs and can comment, like, subscribe, etc. To mind break someone is actually very cheap. You go to their content, be it Instagram. Instagram is a good place for it. YouTube is a good place for it. You go on YouTube and what you do is.

You look through their content until you find something where they're getting on the fringes. Maybe it's a video criticizing Israel. Just one example. I know because I'm using Israel as a hotbed nation. I'm not saying it's the only thing. You see a person who's fairly moderate. They make a video where they're like, I just don't know if Israel is doing the right thing here. I mean, this seems to be wrong. This looks like there's civilians dying and I question this. Here's how they mind break them.

You then easily go to one of these bot farms. You can Google search these things. They cost five bucks sometimes for $15. You can send 500,000 views, 2,000 comments, and 2,000 thumbs up. This social media user logs into their YouTube and sees that they've got half a million views on their I question Israel video. And all the comments are saying you're on the right track, based, great content. And the user goes, wow, I got a really great response when I made a video about that.

So they make another one in the next video a week later. They don't just do the whole thing. The next video might be about Trump. The next video might be about somebody else. The next video might be about migration or economics. But then they decide, oh, here's another story in Israel. They make a video about it. And they say, I think Israel's wrong outright. They do the same thing. And for $30...

They have now convinced this person that the majority of their audience wants to hear bad things about Israel. I am not saying this is a defense of Israel. I am not saying anyone's actually doing it on Israel. I'm using a hot button issue that's likely to piss off a lot of people intentionally. The inverse is true. Palestine. Someone makes a video where they're like, the Palestinians are being genocided. And then someone goes in, spends $30 to flood them with views, likes, and comments so it looks organic.

The individual personality thinks this generates a ton of attention and it's the way to go. And they keep doing it. The funny thing is, people got mad. They're like, Tim's making an insinuation about what people are saying on H-1B. Despite the fact I am on the side of opposing H-1B as it is abused and broken.

So once again, I tell you this, my friends, it's bots. When I come out and say outright H-1B is broken, there are people who are getting in this country who are not skilled immigrants who are, you know, there's labor farms, the big tech companies flood the system, get all the approvals, hire these people on dirt wages who can't quit, otherwise they get kicked out of the country. It's indentured servitude and it's undermining the American worker.

And then they come out and they say, Tim hates America. Tim wants mass migration. I, when have I ever been on the side of the mass migration? I have been for shutting down the borders, but I'm a fan of immigration. It's just that it's broken. I agree with Trump. You got to come here legally. I think we need to completely overhaul H-1B.

You also have, I think it's called the O-1 visa, the extraordinary talent one, where we let people come in when they want to. They apply and they say, look, I'm an extraordinary talent. H-1B is for, like, I think it's called O-1. I could be wrong. That's like celebrities and stuff and like top scientists. That's how you know it's bots.

And then what happens is there are people who have smaller followings who join in on the attacks because they see a wave of people commenting, saying these things. Stop falling for it. Elon said H-1B needs to be reformed. He's correct. Let's reform it.

So right now, as we're dealing with these attacks, the question about mass migration has once again come up. And I say, yeah, that's why we need to secure the borders. And Milo Yiannopoulos tweeted 20 year moratorium on all immigration. I'm like, OK, well, that's a little bit extreme, you know, but I'm willing to compromise. What compromise means? It means maybe we say four, four years.

Four-year immigration moratorium because we have to deal with 15 million illegal immigrants, the Biden, Biden led the country and now terror attacks, which I don't think are a product right now of it. But I don't think we can handle our security as lightly considering. So what I would say is compromise. 20 years is a little excessive and you're not going to get through it because obviously Trump's not going to be in office forever and there's going to be, you know, other political parties. But the issue that I see right now is.

The system has been so massively abused. You cannot allow, you know, the example that I've been given, this is really funny too, when I say it's bots. What was the example I gave a year ago, two years ago? Let's do it again. You live in a house with a roommate and you both vote on what's for lunch. And sometimes you fight, but usually a compromise. And then you're like, today we should order pizza. Tomorrow we should order chicken. No, I don't want chicken. I want beef. Okay, fine. We'll do pizza today, but I'm doing chicken tomorrow. And one day your buddy opens the door and lets in one of his friends.

And you're like, hey, you can't let him in here. He doesn't live here. Doesn't pay rent. Be like, dude, it's fine. It's only for a little while. His house caught fire. He's a refugee. He's got nowhere to go. And you go, all right, fine. I can't throw a guy out for that. Anyway, let's vote on what's for lunch. And you go pizza. And the guy goes chicken. And the third guy who sit on the couch goes chicken. And you go, whoa, whoa, whoa. He can't vote.

You and I vote on what's for lunch. And then your friend says, hey, man, that's not fair. He's going to eat lunch, too. And then you say, OK, fine. Now it's two to one. I gave this example over a year ago, two years ago, and I consistently give it. It's my analogy. Then the dude never seems to leave. And you're like, bro, when are you leaving? I live here, dude. I've been here for 30 days. You can't kick me out. And you're like, are you kidding? You go to your roommate and say, hey, you can't have me. It's two to one.

We vote you're wrong. Then they open the door and let another one of the friends in. Now it's three against one. The problem here is with mass migration, it's not about them voting. It's about them padding congressional seats because they count towards the census and then the electoral college vote count. So long as people who are not citizens are here, they are giving power to Democrats to vote against the interests of Americans.

So with all that being said, when people start tweeting at me that I'm in favor of immigration and it's blind, what did I have? I had a recent tweet. Where's my phone at? This one was really funny because they're bots. Sorry. They are. I'm going to say it again. Let me let me let me go to my Twitter right now because I tweeted something like just before I started recording. I started laughing.

Right, right, right, right. I tweeted about the woke right. Let's talk about that. And then I got someone who was like, so the woke right thing is stupid. But someone who is clearly described as woke right by these liberals, which I disagree with the term, attacked me for saying woke right was not a thing. Like a handful of them. And once again, their accounts with like a random cartoon avatar, random names and no followers. And I'm like, yeah, OK, it's not a real person.

A bot was told to target me as a classical liberal because they lumped me in with the Elon thing for some reason.

And now they're generating, they're posting generic responses as if I'm on the other side of the issue. The bot is told to argue with me. So when I make a post about woke right being wrong, all the bot sees is that I said woke right. It assumes because I've been categorized as anti woke right that I'm saying something against the quote unquote woke right. That's how you know it's bots. Okay. I don't think I can describe it any better than that. But let's talk about the woke right too in this special vacation episode of Timcast.

There will be no IRL tonight, but become a member at TimCast.com to support our work. We do have some big announcements coming up. Cast Brew is now franchising. Go to CastBrew.com. Shout out to Chef Andrew Gruel with his expertise and leadership in helping shape this. And you could be an owner of one of our foundation Cast Brew shops. We built this whole system. You can check it out on the website. But anyway, I digress. People were wondering what my big announcement was going to be on the first. And it's like, all these people are like, Tim sold The Daily Wire. He's announcing it. And I was like,

And we're announcing that we've been working on this franchising thing forever and we can't legally talk about it. Now we finally got all the paperwork ready up. It's on Casper dot com. And, you know, say lovey. Let's talk about woke right. Woke right's not a thing. I am so frustrated by the woke right stupid stuff. The incoherent arguments. I'm going to pull up an example from our good friend, James Lindsay, who is wrong. And I'm going to break this down as to why he's wrong.

So, of course, with these terror attacks, we end up with, you know, people on the left and right making their statements. James Lindsay posts woke left and woke right. Two examples. On the woke left, it's a guy named Alex Cole saying, Lord, give me a sign, Lord. OK. And it shows the Tesla Cybertruck explodes. On the right is Jake Shields. And he says, I think God is sending a message to Trump and Elon. And he says one is woke left and one is woke right. Here's what I think. First, I'll try to be as offensive as possible to James.

I think James has nothing left to stand on. He had a great, I don't know, episode arc with Peter Boghossian and Helen Pluckrose when they challenged these academic institutions and made some journals publish garbled nonsense in early passages for Mein Kampf. It was quite hilarious. Now,

He seems to have nothing really going on and needs to have some kind like, you know, your PhD, you always got to publish a new paper. That's what I think he's doing. He's not a news commentariat, right? So what can he really do other than say, I have found another issue. I'll give you one example.

I told the story before, but a buddy of mine, his dad was a physicist. And he said the problem with M-theory, unified theory, is that these scientists have dedicated 50 years of their lives to it. They don't want to let it go. They don't want to accept they've been wrong for decades and have wasted their lives. So they keep just ham fisting new dimensions in place so that it all makes sense. It's like jamming the wrong puzzle piece into the wrong spot with a hammer. Let's talk about woke right. This right here really exemplifies the criticism I have for James Lindsay.

When he says that claiming that God is sending a message with a Tesla truck blowing up in front of Trump Tower means you are woke. I think God sent a message. But what is the message? What does that mean? I think God sends messages all the time on the left. The implication this guy is saying it's a message against Elon and Trump because they are evil. On the right, Jake Shields is likely implying that Trump and Elon support for H-1B is a bad thing.

These are different. There's different context to this. They're not saying the same thing. One is saying Trump and Elon are evil and God is warning them. The other is saying Trump and Elon need to course correct and do the right thing. The guy on the left is not going to sit there and be like Trump is a good person who needs persuasion. The context here is completely different.

So let's talk about what woke means. Heavens to Betsy. Why was it, as I've mentioned this many times, the Jaguar commercial, despite having no political ideology, was called woke? Because the aesthetic of it represented liberal social orthodoxy, the postmodernist art. But hold on. One might argue that the art is an offshoot, the weird gender nonconformity of gender ideology, critical theory in general, and its subsidiaries, which is, dare I say, wokeism.

Would that be the argument? You're still arguing its adherence to cultural culture, not political ideology. Hence, what we define as woke and woke people often conflict with themselves. So why does woke right not apply? You clearly don't know what woke means. But of course, most people don't. They really don't know how to define it. I see a lot of people who say, like James says, woke is Marxist. Nothing is more woke than Marxism. Wrong. That's not what woke is.

Jimmy Dore is a socialist and a good man, despite socialist economics policies I disagree with. Nobody calls Jimmy Dore woke. They call him far right. Like, dude, Jimmy Dore literally advocates for full government programs on health care.

and taxing the rich. But I thought critical theory was wokeness. Then why isn't Jimmy Dore woke? Because Jimmy Dore does not adhere to the liberal social orthodoxy. Although he has left economic political views, very strong political and economic views, he defies liberal social orthodoxy, namely on the vaccines and trans issues. Thus, they call him right wing.

So hold on. If Jimmy Dore is not woke, despite the fact that he agrees with many tenets of critical theory, then what does woke really mean? We once again then take a look at the Jaguar commercial, which had no political ideology, but was called woke. It is the it is the cult like adherence to liberal social orthodoxy. That is what woke is. Hence, you could have people who are pro Ukraine war, but at the same time, critical of the military industrial complex be woke.

Why can't you have a woke right? Because the right doesn't have cult like adherence to conservative social orthodoxy. What James is describing as woke right with Jake Shields is one subset of people who exist on a right continuum. Now, maybe he's just trying to say they are like the woke. So I call them that. But that's wrong.

Woke people have cult-like adherence to liberal social orthodoxy. That is the unifying factor of wokeness. They will cancel you, fire you from your job. You must adhere to their amorphous ideological positions. Otherwise, you are excised. Hence, Blair White, who is a trans woman, is not woke. And Jimmy Dore, who is a socialist, is not woke, despite...

living lives in accordance with what would fall under subsidiaries of critical theory of Marxist ideology. Me personally, I actually don't completely disagree with Mark on critical theory. I

I think there is a problem to a certain degree with the ultra wealthy manipulating the system and harming the working class. Heavens to me. Am I a socialist? No, but I do lean left economically. But no one's going to call me woke. They're going to call me far right. In fact, a bunch of newspapers, they do it all the time. So what is wokeness and why is there no woke right? Simple.

As I already mentioned, when you take a look at what people, I don't care what James thinks woke means. He can define things however he wants. But in the broader sense of the term, when Ben Shapiro says woke, when Jimmy Dore says woke, when James says woke, there is a unifying principle. And it is cult-like adherence to their social orthodoxy. I know, you may be saying, but what does it really mean, Tim? What does it mean they believe? They don't believe anything!

anything. That's why Hassan Piker is like, we got to fight for Ukraine and send money. Also, the military industrial complex is bad and we shouldn't be at war. And I'm like, that's contradictory. He said that in like within the span of two minutes in one video. It makes no sense. Why is that one day Wemmickson is the appropriate way to say women and then women with a Y the next day? It makes no sense.

Why is they seem to bounce around from one idea to the other, even though they contradict themselves? How do accounts like defiant L's exist where one guy will say anybody who thinks the election is bad, anybody who thinks the election was fraudulent is a criminal. And then below it is a post they made with like Trump stole the election.

Well, how can that be? Don't they understand that they're contradicting their own worldview? Maybe. But that's what wokeness is. They don't care what's true. They care only to say what they have to say to adhere to liberal social order. Hence, wokeness, when you step back and look at how each person is defining the elements of it, you see that it doesn't really have a core ideology. And I've argued this quite a bit. They are simply adhering to what they think is the popular narrative among liberals.

So how is there no woke right? Jake Shields may be prominent among his subset of right wing individuals, but to imply that there is a woke on the right is to imply that there is a cult like adherence to conservative social order, which doesn't exist. The right is fighting all the time. People are attacking Jake Shields all the time. So if you want to say.

They are woke right in a lighter sense. The problem still exists that woke is broadly defined as cult like adherence to the cultural orthodoxy, namely of liberals, because they're woke. If there was going to be a woke right, they would have cult like adherence to the social order of the right. OK, the problem is Trump is pro Israel and Jake Shields is not.

Many of the people James Lindsay has accused of being woke right are very anti-Israel, very pro-Palestine, and it makes no sense that they're not adhering to the conservative social orthodoxy, which is America first and Israel good.

Libertarians like Dave Smith are not woke right. Dave did a good takedown of what this is. But all that we're really seeing is James Lindsay's grade school level fantasies where he's looking at two shapes that look the same. He goes, that's the same thing. And you're like, actually, they're different shapes. I understand a cylinder and a circle have similarities, but they are different. Or, you know, you get the point.

Comparing two individuals who are saying, Lord, give me a sign, or I think God is sending a message, is the perfect example of James having no idea what he's talking about and trying to ham fist in this idea. It's wrong. That's it. So he can try and define all that he wants, but this is grade school fallacy stuff. The fact that people see messages from God doesn't mean anything because everybody does. So my final thought on the matter is, I said it a couple weeks ago, I'll say it again on the matter of woke right. My friends,

James isn't going after any other faction, calling them woke right or woke center or anything like that. Now, why is that? Honest question. Certainly, if you want to talk about cult-like adherence to a social order, you can talk about Scientology. He doesn't. Well, they have massive institutional power. Yeah, but no one cares to talk about them. They don't really do a whole lot that bothers us.

So then why is he talking about this small subset of people tangentially related with the right who have collectivist views and grievances against who they feel oppresses them? Because they tweet at him. James Lindsay has identified the woke right because they tweeted him. I assure you, if James was seeing prominent actions from snake charmers, he'd be calling them out.

The issue here is that Nick Fuentes and Jake Shields, though they have large audiences, do not represent the social orthodoxy of the right. The right is largely defined as free speech and America first. But there's infighting among all of these different groups.

There's the disaffected liberal types who don't agree or say the post-liberal types, which have still some liberal views. There's Jimmy Dore. This is the anti-establishment sector. You cannot have cult-like adherence to anti-establishment. It's contradictory. So thank you for coming to my TED Talk. TED's whack, though, by the way, but I'll leave it at that. Anyway.

Had to do it. Had to do it. You know, there's only so much vacation I can take, but we're still off. I believe we may have a culture war episode tomorrow with Phil Labonte. And then we are going to be back Monday, January 6th. There's a lot happening this month and the year's already kicking off in a very crazy way. I hope everybody's safe enjoying your holiday. Thanks for tuning into this special morning recording where you see, look, I got to tell you guys,

I could certainly just take my vacation. I don't do this for money. I'm sitting here playing video games and I'm looking at Twitter and I'm like, I need to talk for 40 minutes right now. So I turn the camera on. Smash the like button, share the show with everyone you know, become a member over at TimCast.com. Thanks for tuning into this special holiday vacation episode of Tim is bored so he talks for 40 minutes straight and he could probably talk longer but he thinks he's going to call it now.

You get it. Follow me on X and Instagram at Tim cast. I'm going to go skateboard with the homies and I'll see you all on Monday or maybe over the weekend. If I get bored again, see you later.
