I remember the good old days, Donald Trump's first term, when basically every day I was making a video titled Democrats panic, because I want to make sure you understand why I use the phrase panic, because it implies irrationality. It is not sounding the alarm. It is not expressing fear or disgust. It is outright them screeching over nothing.
OK, so the latest story in which they're accusing Donald Trump of being a despotic authoritarian is that Trump has signed an executive order claiming that the Constitution, which explicitly states the executive power is vested in the president. He signed an executive order saying that.
And that these independent agencies that Congress tried to establish, which for some reason were outside the purview of the president, are still within the purview of the president. Democrats are now saying this is a power grab. He is seizing control and they're panicking. And the reason is the executive order is actually particularly mundane now.
Trump basically said, OK, so we got the FCC, we got the SEC. There are the people who run it are appointed by the president, but they're some they're independent and they're supposed to operate. But Trump said, no, the Office of Budget Management, give me a report on what they're doing and then report that to me. And he got he's asserting control over these agencies. Well, to be fair, Trump did say, look, I'm the president. Section two of the Constitution says outright.
That's I have sole executive authority. It's actually quite insane to me that for so long, I mean, we had this period of like 70 years where the Constitution was used as toilet paper and powerful institutions ran amok. Now, my favorite thing about this is that Trump carved out the Federal Reserve, which is sure, buddy.
But I'm not freaking out about it. Now, on top of this, you've got Trump firing all of the Biden era attorneys based. You've got Doge going in and gutting all the bloat and Elon Musk offering up. And perhaps this should have been the lead story. I don't know. Whatever. Maybe because I make people click on it more. Five thousand dollar refunds to all Americans called the Doge dividend, meaning the
When they start gutting all the bloat from these agencies, that money that normally would go to, say, like Loudoun County, Virginia, would go to you instead. But a humble $5,000. Wow, that's pretty crazy. Right now, I think they said that they've cleared about $55 billion. $55 billion. And that's massive.
That's massive. So let's let's let's break it down. You've got 350 million Americans of which we're not going to give tax refunds to children. So I think that gives us around I think it's like 200 million working age Americans. So that's for every billion dollars. That's five bucks. That's five bucks. So we're looking at now. Holy crap.
What are we looking at, $275? I may be Asian, but my math isn't always that fast. So far, so good. Maybe we'll get that dividend your way, but we'll see, my friends. There's a lot of news going on with how Democrats are claiming that everything Elon Musk and Trump and the agencies are all – they're saying it's all illegal. But I want to stress that these people – and I got the receipts. I always do.
These are people who want authoritarian control. And I got to be honest, they're effectively running Alinsky's rules for radicals. Accuse your opponent that of what it is of that, which is what you are doing.
And so they try to claim that Trump is trying to seize power. Literally, they seized power. Trump is asserting the Constitution states his executive authority. They say he's seizing power. Yeah, he's seizing it back from the deep state garbage, the post-World War II liberal economic order that sought to undermine this country and create a deep state, a bureaucratic machine. I mean, come on. In what legal authority does Congress have to make executive departments that the president has no control over?
Silly. Well, the argument is that the courts are going to strike it down, but I'm not so sure. I think for the first time we have an actual president acting like what the president is supposed to be. The founding fathers understood that you needed an executive to an act to enforce. And he has sole executive authority. In fact, he can convene Congress and and then send him home. He's a lot of power.
For a long time, presidents have been figureheads, basically just working at the behest of the intelligence agencies in the deep state. It's been like this for like 100 years. It's gotten worse. But let's see Donald Trump change it all. My friends.
Before we get started, make sure you head over to castbrew.com and pick up some delicious Cast Brew coffee. I recommend picking up some two weeks till Christmas, despite the fact it's two months since Christmas. But still, Filabonte dressed like Santa Claus with a gingerbread flavored coffee is quite delicious. I'm a big fan. And everybody's favorite Appalachian Nights.
We got a dark roast rise with Roberto Jr. But let's do this. We're gonna take a deep dive into the ground coffee options. Don't forget focus with Mr. Bocas. We sold a good amount of this, but we still have 1848 custom bags of focus with Mr. Bocas. For those who don't know, Mr. Bocas.
Mr. Bocas was the original mascot of Timcast because he was simply my cat. And he was a street cat who had underdeveloped kidneys. And as you need your kidneys to live, so I'm told, he only lived to about five years old. We used all technologies available to us to prolong his life. And then one day it just there was nothing more we can do.
With underdeveloped kidneys, poor Mr. Bocas, his kidneys were doing double or triple the work of a regular kidneys to try and keep him alive.
And it is quite sad. But we created the Focus with Mr. Bocas espresso blend in his memory. We also have Misty Mountains, a blend of Costa Rican coffees that it's getting rave reviews. And look at that bag. Look how pretty it is. Misty Mountains. That was brilliant. I didn't come up with that one. Appalachian Nights I came up with because I wanted a dark roast and I was like, yo, Appalachian Night, beautiful.
And it turned out to be a sleeper hit. So, of course, Ian's graphene dream. He just sold 300 bags yesterday. I feel like every time I say, wow, Ian sells coffee so much, people are like, I got to try it. I should just say that about everything. Wow. The focus with Mr. Bocas is selling so well. I can't believe it. Jeez, it's our one of our top sellers. You should buy that one. Shout out to Ian, though. Ian said he wanted a low acidity coffee.
We did our research. We figured out which blends had the lower acidity profiles, and we made a delicious flavor. And everybody says it's really, really good. And Ian sold like almost two years' worth based on our normal sales averages. And y'all are putting him through college, and you know he needs it.
it. Don't forget to go to Timcast.com, join our Discord server to get involved in our community activities. And of course, we've got members only exclusive content at Rumble Premium. For those watching on Rumble, Rumble.com slash Timcast IRL. Check out the Green Room show and Rumble.com slash Tim Pool for our full length documentaries. But now we will go to the news. So my friends smash that like button right now. Share the show with everyone you know.
If everybody who was watching right now shared the link to this video, we'd be the biggest show in the world. Isn't that crazy? I mean, I got to be honest. I got to tell you, it actually is kind of a crazy thought that it is but a thin line of decentralized power that exists in the audience to choose what is the most influential show in the world.
And this certainly is not. This show is not. And so I've thought about it quite a bit. I was like, if we got, you know, like the other day we had 30,000, 33,000 concurrent viewers and we had like 8,500 on Rumble. And I'm like, man, if we had 41,000 people all at once just tweet the video out,
They used to call that a thunderclap. There was an app where everybody would sign up and schedule a tweet at the exact same time. And if 40,000 tweets went out the exact same time, it became the number one worldwide trend. And it's kind of crazy to think about. But in all seriousness, in all honesty, you don't have to do anything for me. You owe me no favors. I am here. I make a living doing this thing. I enjoy it. I appreciate that you guys watch. And so thank you so much.
Really do mean it. It is a it is a dream come true to be able to do this job where I complain and make jokes and insult people on the Internet. Although I try to keep the insults to a minimum, some people are evil and they deserve it. Anyway, here's the news. Yeah, I'm having a good day. I'm having a very I'm having a very good month, mind you. Aside from the fact that Donald Trump is steamrolling the deep state and it feels like we for once in my lifetime have a president. I got married.
You know, so it's been particularly good for me. I hope y'all are having a good month, too. I saw one of the chats when I started the stream. They said, I'm having so much fun. I'm so happy he got elected. I'm right there with you, buddy.
From Politico, Trump signs order to claim power over independent agencies. The action is likely to face court challenges and test a once fringe legal theory. I just I just don't understand this. It's the Constitution says he has full executive authority. Why would he need to sign an order asserting what is already in the Constitution? OK, Politico, take us on what's going on.
President Trump on Tuesday signed a sweeping executive order bringing independent agencies under the control of the White House, an action that would greatly expand his power, but is likely to attract significant legal challenges. It represents Trump's latest attempt to consolidate power beyond boundaries other presidents have observed. Yeah, well, those presidents were dumb. And to test the so-called unitary executive theory, which states the president has the sole authority over the executive branch in the Constitution. You know, look.
Every day we always talk about the amendments, you know, but the Constitution had stuff in it before we amended it. And it tells us how the country is supposed to be run. All right. It reflects the influence of Russ Fott, Trump's budget chief, one of several conservatives in his orbit who have called for axing independent arms of the executive branch.
The theory was long considered fringe and many mainstream legal scholars still believe it is illegal. Yeah, well, those people are stupid. Given that Congress said at the agency specifically to act independently, which they never had the authority to do, mind you, but sure, continue or semi independently from the president.
These include the Federal Communications Commission, the Federal Trade Commission, the Securities and Exchange Commission, all of which enact regulations and can impose hefty fines on businesses that violate the rules. I would just like to stress when. OK, you know, maybe the Supreme Court issued a rule. That's fine. But my argument is going to be the Constitution has not been amended as to take away the executive authority of the president nor grant Congress the ability to set up external executive authorities. It's an absurdity.
Other presidents have not only declined to challenge the independence of these agencies in court, but have in many cases tried to avoid even the appearance of interference in their actions. Many leaders appointed to the agency serve terms that last longer than a single presidency. We call that the deep state. That's the problem. They shouldn't. In an effort to help shield them from political pressure. No, no, no, no, no. This is not democracy. That people would serve in these administrations beyond the single term of president. Unelected? No, I say. No, no, no.
The order would take that independence away by granting Vought, who reports to Trump, supervising power. Thank you. Yes, please. This is what Trump is doing. Trump is gutting the deep state. That's what we elected him for. And, you know, I think you're gonna be hard pressed to find an average American who's gonna be like, I'm actually in favor of unelected bureaucrats taking my money for gender studies in Pakistan. Don't get me wrong. A lot of these Democrats are gonna agree with whatever the Democratic Party says.
The executive order requires Vought, as the director of the Office of Management and Budget...
To establish performance standards and management objectives for the heads of independent agencies and report periodically to the president on their performance and efficiency in attaining such standards and objectives. It also requires Vought to review and make changes to the agency's budgets as necessary and appropriate to advance the president's policies and priorities. For the federal government to be truly accountable to the American people, officials who wield vast executive power must be supervised and controlled by the people's elected president. Hear, hear, I say. Hear, hear, good sir.
While the executive order is to begin nature and represents a fundamental reshaping of the federal government, it is effectively codified, codifies the actions of the Trump administration has already been taking. OK, it codifies the actions Trump has already been taking, setting up the administration's legal position in an expected court fight. Trump has, for instance, already fired Gwynne Wilcox, former chair of the National Labor Relations Board, the NLRB's general counsel, Jennifer Abruzzo.
The Office of Government and Ethics Director David Whitema, Wilcox has filed a lawsuit contesting her dismissal. Cry more. And Vaught, almost immediately upon taking office, assumed the title of acting director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, another independent agency, halting further funding to the agency and firing its employees en masse. This is called Trump's march to the sea on the deep state. He is this is scorched earth administrative warfare. And I say here, here.
Bring it on, baby.
They say, but the order has broad and potentially immediate implications for a host of other independent agencies that have not yet been penetrated by the administration. And while it doesn't apply to the Federal Reserve's handling of monetary policy, it does apply to the Fed's other responsibilities, including overseeing banks and other financial institutions. Independent agencies often find themselves in the political crosshairs either because they take actions that appear to align or conflict with the sitting president's agenda. Those include the SEC's efforts during the Biden era to force companies to disclose the risks they face from climate change.
as well as the FCC's more recent actions to investigate companies such as CBS for alleged bias. Alleged? That's interesting. CBS put out the raw video. They edited the answers from Kamala Harris.
Under the order, independent agencies must appoint White House liaisons and regularly consult with and coordinate policies and priorities with not only Vought's office, but the White House Domestic Policy Council and National Economic Council. It also neuters the agency's attorneys by asserting that no employee of the executive branch acting in their official capacity may advance an interpretation of the law as the position of the United States that contravenes the president or the attorney general's opinion on a matter of law.
Trump has made Trump had made less dramatic intrusions into independent agencies during his first term, including by pressuring both the FTC and FCC to punish social media networks accused of censoring conservatives, including himself, which they were doing. And we all know they were doing. They were caught doing and have apologized for doing Zuckerberg, of course, coming up and like, we got that one wrong. Sure.
In one episode that made headlines, Trump met with then-FTC Chair Joseph Simmons in the White House and pushed him to take action on the censorship allegations. As Politico reported in August 2020, Simmons had told lawmakers he considered the matter outside the agency's jurisdiction. Trump also stunned lawmakers that year by withdrawing the renomination of Republican FCC member Michael O'Reilly, who had expressed skepticism about using his agency's powers to penalize online platforms for alleged ideological bias. Quote,
I shudder to think of a day in which the fairness doctrine could be reincarnated for the Internet, especially at the ironic behest of so-called free speech defenders. O'Reilly said in a speech a few days before Trump pulled the plug on him. No, I reject these arguments, my friends, where they say, heavens be, we can't use power because maybe they'll use that power against us. They're using it against you already. OK, so we sit back and let evil people do evil things or we say we wield power when we win it.
And then if the pendulum swings, we reject the corrupt implementations they try to bring about. It's actually not that complicated. You know, Barry Weiss is getting some flack. I'm going to have a segment on Friday about it where she's basically saying there's a new element to the right that wants to wield power or whatever. And it's, you know, I don't completely disagree with everything she says, but I largely do.
This idea that you can't wield power as an honorable individual in this nation is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. We wield power as to our moral traditions and worldview. And when our political rivals wield the same power, historically, our political rivals wield the power and they bash us over the head. Then the Republicans win power and go, well, you know, we better not do that because they'll do it. They did it to you last time and they're doing it to you now.
So what we do is we use the power we have and say, you are evil. Please stop. OK, and then if at another point they gain those powers and they use them as they see fit, we say the use of the powers as you are doing defies our moral structures and worldview. You are evil. Please stop. It's that simple. We as a community have to have moral boundaries and a worldview on how we implement laws, though we may disagree from time to time.
And we simply say we wield power. I don't understand what's wrong with this. Democrats do it. It's their M.O. And then Republicans are like slow down, Democrats. Well, I don't like the Republican Party either, but you get the point. All right. Well, let's take a deep dive into where we're currently at with the Democrats and the liberal progressives and such and such.
Here you go from common dreams in profoundly dangerous power grab. Trump moves to seize control of independent agencies. Americans should understand exactly what this is, a giant gift to the corporate class and a Trumpian power grab. What are you talking about? I mean, these people are catastrophizing everything. They're like, oh, Donald Trump says that the Constitution gives him control of executive agencies. Oh, it's the end of the world.
Bro, you don't even know how this affects your life. You're making up things about this. Who was it recently on a podcast? It's like most of this stuff doesn't even impact people and they're freaking out like the world is ending. It's like, yeah, the DEI stuff affected us. I mean, like planes are falling out of the sky, but that's up for debate, I guess. Here's common dreams. Okay.
U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday signed an executive order aimed at bringing the nation's independent agencies, including, we know, you know, under his control, the new order, blah, blah, blah. The order requires this. We know they say in a fact sheet released alongside the order. The White House specifically names the FTC, SEC and FCC. We get it. We get it. This is a profoundly dangerous idea for the nation's health, safety, environment and economy and for our democracy. He added Congress made independent agencies independent of the White House for good reason.
So how is it democracy if the American people can't vote those things away? Let's try again. You have independent agencies and we as the American people would like to discuss. We have hereby elected a man. Please get these institutions under control. And the Democrats go, no, your votes are meaningless. When you elect someone, they have no power to make the changes. That's democracy. I'm just sitting here like that's not democracy. That's bureaucracy.
Elon Musk made the point the other night on Hannity. He said, if the will of the people is that Donald Trump come in and enact these policies and he is being barred from doing so, then we don't have a democracy. We have a bureaucracy. Does that make sense? I'm paraphrasing. And then all these Democrats are like, wow, this man is so dumb. It's like, no. Trump goes, if you vote for me, I'll go in and shut him down. And we are like, yes, please, please do that. And now Democrats are saying you're not allowed to.
So who is allowed to rein in these federal agencies under the executive branch, if not the president? Who? Apparently no one. Well, the president can appoint people. Congress confirms them, but they're independent, do whatever they want. And the people who run it, well, they run these agencies over multiple terms to avoid politicking.
That's what the Supreme Court is for. The Supreme Court have lifetime. The Supreme Court justices get lifetime appointments because then it's not political because the judges are supposed to interpret the law that I get. But the president is political. We vote for him to enact change and control the executive branch. But these people are losing their minds.
Trump's executive order would dissolve that independence and put the agency under Trump's thumb, ensuring they turn a blind eye to wrongdoing by favored corporations. They're accusing us and Trump of doing that which they do. It's really that simple. How about we try this?
Trump's executive order would dissolve that independence and put the agencies under Trump's thumb, ensuring that no one turns a blind eye to wrongdoing to enact policies favoring certain corporations and hurting the consumers and investors. I could say that, right? What's the difference? Moral interpretation, emotional interpretation,
The way I see it, these institutions, these entities have largely been favoring the deep state, the bureaucratic state themselves and the money that funnels into their pockets. Trump gaining control of it is the first opportunity we've had in a long time to rein them in. And boy, are they crying about it? Here's my favorite. Here's my favorite. The free press. Ah, Tim Carr, Tim Carr, freepress.net.
Not to be confused with the Free Press, Barry Weiss's organization. Free Press is a nonprofit that doesn't believe in the free press. I love it. I know Tim Carr. I've met him a long time ago. He says latest Trump power grab aims to destroy independent agencies. Oh, no. They put out a press release. The Free Press. You guys want to see a joke? You want to see a joke? You're going to love this one.
The Free Press writes,
This is what an unconstitutional power grab looks like. We urge Congress and reviewing courts to reject this outlandish attack on independent agencies. That's right, says the free press who believes in a free press and wrote this article in 2019. Free press versus hate. Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones is so racist, homophobic and xenophobic that Apple, Facebook, Spotify, Twitter and YouTube banned him and his show InfoWars from their sites in 2018.
But now he's returned to Facebook with multiple new pages, and the social media giant has allowed him to resume profiting off his lies. This week, Free Press launched a petition calling on Facebook to ban Alex Jones. Heavens me! The Free Press calling for InfoWars to be banned? That doesn't sound like Free Press at all. These people are despicable hypocrites. They are evil, evil people.
First of all, I know Alex Jones. He is not racist in the least bit. He is not homophobic, nor is he xenophobic. That's ridiculous. Alex Jones, if anything, is actually much, much more of an anti-establishment libertarian type. Certainly he's got his conspiracy theories. I know a lot of people are like, no, Tim, hold on. He went on Alex Jones and talked about cell phone towers and animal hybrids. Come on. Not everything he says is law, but he gets a lot of things right.
Famously, he predicted the Russian invasion of Ukraine. And everybody was like, how did he know? A video went viral of him saying, they're going to do it. They're going to do it in February. And everybody was like, how did he know? Well, I happen to know Alex Jones. And I said, Alex, tell me your secrets. He's like, well, I just read the news. It was the funniest thing ever. Alex was like, dude, all I do is read the news. And then I report these things. This is what the media was lying about. This is what free press is lying about.
Alex Jones's reporting is largely just aggregate general reporting. They have their reporters and then he reads the news. And what he said to me was when you looked at the reports from like the AP, the Guardian, the New York Times, they were saying things like fears of a spring offensive from Russia, Russia amassing troops. All of all you do is you read these stories and then you go, guys, if you read this, it looks like they're saying like we got a high probability of an invasion by Russia into Ukraine in the spring.
When it happened, they're like, Alex called it. And Alex was like, I just read it. They called him a conspiracy theorist for doing these things. And they insult Trump for much the same reason.
Donald Trump comes out and he's like, did you see that report of the news about how they've got disinfectants? You know, they're using UV light. Maybe we could do something like that to disinfect maybe something under the skin. I'm not sure. What do you think? And then the media was like, Trump calls for drinking bleach or ingesting it, which he never did. It's an absurdity.
Trump will read the news, come out the next day and be like, I saw this. The news is very interesting. And then they'll come out and be like Trump's line. Oh, the most famous one, of course, was last night in Sweden.
Trump watched a news report on Fox News from Ami Horowitz where he was like, Sweden's got issues. The refugees and the Somali migrants from 30 years ago have resulted in integration issues and violence. And then Trump at a rally says, you see what happened last night in Sweden? You know, they got this report. And then the media said nothing happened last night in Sweden. Trump's an idiot. And it's like Trump was talking about he miss he misspoke. He says, did you see what happened on the news last night about what's going on in Sweden?
It was that simple. And the people who know Trump and support him understood the general context. But here we are. Like, I'm going to take the complaints from free press. I love, love, love the paradox here. It's just so beautiful. Free press. I would just like to stress y'all are evil. You are evil, deeply evil people for lying about Alex Jones to get him banned.
Scumbaggery. How much you want to bet groups like this receive USAID funding somewhere? And that's why they're really freaking out. The bottom line, free press does not condone government censorship. The change the terms campaign and our call for to ban Alex Jones has nothing to do with government restrictions on free speech, which is what the First Amendment prohibits. Oh, I love this. Let's go to the free press right here where they're like Trump's going to favor corporations or whatever.
Yeah, this is what the argument is. OK, so it wasn't them who said that it was common dreams. So the free press calls for corporate unilateral authority to censor and shut down anybody because they don't like the opinions. Talk about a free press. Interesting, huh? Well, here we go, ladies and gentlemen. Let's break this down. Trump is right. Come at me, bro. You are wrong.
The White House releases this fact sheet. President Donald J. Trump reigns in independent agencies to restore government answers to the American people. Agreed.
Restoring democracy and accountability in government. Today, President Donald J. Trump signed an executive order ensuring that all federal agencies are accountable to the American people as required by the Constitution. Under this executive order, the order notes that Article 2 of the U.S. Constitution vests all executive power in the president, meaning that all executive branch officials and employees are subject to his supervision. Indeed, they are. Therefore, because all executive power is vested in the president, all agencies must, one, submit draft regulations. We get it. We get it. Consult with White House on their priorities.
The OMB will adjust so-called independent agencies apportionments to ensure tax dollars are spent wisely. The president and attorney general, subject to the president's supervision and control, will interpret the law for the executive branch. Reigning in independent agencies, these agencies issues rules and regulations that cost billions of dollars and implicate some of the most controversial policy matters. And they do so without the review of the democratically elected president. They also spend American tax dollars and set priorities without consulting the president while setting their own performance standards.
Now they will. Let me just let me just simplify this all for you.
A bunch of employees with no oversight. They they've got. So I think Elon Musk pointed out there's six million, six million credit cards, but three million employees. So like on average, each each employee has two government credit cards. These people without accountability are are buying five hundred dollar staplers. Have you seen this stuff? Like when when they're like a five hundred dollar hammer, you look at the expenditures and it's like, well, hold on. They bought a power drill for ten grand. And why? Yep.
So the government spends the money. It's yours and they don't care. Trump is basically saying we're putting an end to this. But you know what, my friends? Don't take it from me. Take it directly from the Constitution of the United States. Article two, section one. It's really simple. The executive power shall be vested in a president of the United States of America. He shall hold his office during the term of four years and together with the vice president chosen for the same term, be elected as follows. That's it. That's what it says.
The executive power is vested in the president. OK, so how then does Congress determine that they can create executive branches outside the purview of where the executive power is vested? I don't understand. Hey, don't look at me. I'm not a constitutional scholar. I'm just some guy on the Internet. OK, wearing a beanie. Now, maybe there was a Supreme Court interpretation. I'd argue it's wrong.
At some point, Congress said we hereby assert the authority to create executive branches or I'm sorry, executive agencies where nobody has the power. What? How do you do that? How does Congress assert? Have they amended the Constitution? No. As far as I know, there's no amendment to the Constitution that states the executive power shall not be vested in the president or shall only be limited. In which case, by what argument are they claiming Trump is wrong?
The reality is groups like the free press, these nonprofits, I'm not saying them specifically because I don't really know where their funding comes from. I'm sure, you know, how about we pull up their 990s? That's their tax form for nonprofits. These groups, many of these NGOs, they're going to come out and claim orange man bad because they get their money from these government agencies. They get grants and payments without oversight. And Trump is saying no more. So, America, I got a proposal for you.
Elon Musk, he's stepping up. Where's that story? Is that one right here? Musk moles sending all Americans $5,000. Oh, Forbes, don't give me this. They auto-plan a video? Get out of there. Musk moles, oh, they're still doing it, huh? $5,000 checks using Doge savings. $5,000. We got to clear a lot of funds for that. We got to clear a lot of funds for that. So we'll just do a, let's just say...
Like what did I say earlier? 250 million Americans. So that's stupid Google. There you go. So we're looking at, oof, that's going to be a lot of money. Let's do this. I think right now we're at, what is it, $275 based on what they've already cleared. So they got to make that bigger. How much money needed to give every...
tax paying American. That's how we'll do it. Every tax paying American. Five thousand dollars. Robot, take me home. The robot says nothing. Oh, there we go. It's giving me a weird explanation. So there are 164 million individuals that have filed tax returns. OK, so that's important. So we're looking at eight hundred and twenty billion dollars. OK, well, we're like seven percent of the way there.
But the estimate is that there's upwards of $2 trillion that is wasteful spending. I think that's probably correct. Forbes says billionaire Doge head Elon Musk said on X, formerly known as Twitter. We get it. That he would ask President Donald Trump to propose a Doge dividend that would give taxpayers a refund check of $5,000 by the savings from his Department of Government Efficiency. So let's go, ladies and gentlemen. Let me just ask you a question.
Drop me a this question is really stupid. I'm sorry, because I know the answer. Put a one in the chat if you would like to receive five thousand dollars and put a two in the chat if you think that money should go to programs like gender studies in Pakistan and LGBTQ activism in Afghanistan.
You choose. I don't know what the answer is going to be, because even people who support the LGBT activism in Afghanistan are going to be like, I would personally like to have $5,000. That being said, I always like to do these polls on the chat. And the poll today is one like equals cash. Release the Epstein list. And the options are release it or no, because I'm on it. Two percent of respondents claim to be on the Epstein list and don't want to released.
Well, OK, guys. So one person says three paid on the national debt. That's a good that's a good one. That's actually a good argument. Yeah. One of the things I've heard is that I think they were talking about this on Fox with the with the national debt being so high. If they clear two trillion, just pay down the debt. Pay it down.
I don't know if we need to. I think I think the five thousand dollar Doge dividend would be a much better idea. And let me explain. Good, sir, because I do respect the audio issue. Oh, I brought up the Epstein list and now people are saying they can't hear me. Well, refresh the stream if you're getting audio issues. I don't think it's my microphone. I think it's the stream because I mentioned Epstein. Anyway, there's nothing I can do on this end.
People are, yo, that's really funny. And I can see the viewership went down a little bit when people are mentioning audio issues. Audio is cutting in and out. Well, you know, that's what happens when you say Epstein over and over again on the stream. What is this? Some people just need to refresh the stream. Well, now I forgot what I was going to say because people were saying, oh, yeah, I'll tell you. I respect the message where they said that, um,
Refresh works. Hit refresh. Really? That's messed up. That's a YouTube end thing. Well, if you're watching on Rumble, you probably have no issues. What are our friends on Rumble saying? Fine on Rumble. No audio issues here. Let me just point out, as we are live on both Rumble and YouTube, as soon as I mentioned that guy's name, people are like, I can't hear you anymore. The audio cut out. Really?
Oh, we're having fun today, aren't we? And I can see that concurrent viewership on YouTube dropped by a thousand as soon as that happened. Well, that being said, many people are saying pay the debt off with it. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. It's a good answer. It is. But let me explain. If every American got $5,000, we would call that a stimulus. The Doge dividend refund would be instantly applied back into the economy for which the U.S. government would recuperate large portions of that in economic activity.
Meaning the economic activity is going to generate more than $5,000 per person in tax benefits to the U.S. government. It's amazing how the system works. I've told the story over and over again about how a friend of mine's dad was a contractor in Chicago, Cook County. Cook County is where Chicago is. DuPage County is a western suburb. And what happened was Cook County raised their tax rate by like 0.25%.
And then there was a Home Depot in Cook County that shut down and they spent millions of dollars to reopen like two miles down the road on the same road in DuPage County. And when I went like I remember like we would like I think I can't remember what it was. I think my friends would go there and we'd like buy wood and stuff for skateboarding. And then it closed. Well, that's weird. But we don't really think much of it.
And then my friend's dad was a contractor, was like, well, look, if we have to order like, you know, $200,000 worth of materials for one project and they're adding a quarter of a percent on top. I mean, for the year, you could be looking at 20 grand lost. I'd rather drive two miles. And I was like, that's interesting. By raising taxes, they reduced their tax revenue substantially, whereas Cook County normally would have received, you know, $1,000.
Hundreds of thousands in taxes. They tried to squeeze a little bit more out of everybody and they left. That's fascinating. Kind of like what West Virginia is doing to us here at Timcast. We'll see. I'm reaching out to some local politicians because I'm livid. I want West Virginia to be the best. But right now, as most of you know, I've been ranting about this. West Virginia is claiming that you can't hire independent contractors anymore. The state has literally made it illegal to hire a single human being.
I'm not going to rant on that one again. It is what it is. But yeah, people are saying, oh, people with audio issues seem to be on their phones. I haven't had audio issues on YouTube today. But in the past, audio has been cut through only for Timcast. Well, you know what it is. Let me do this.
I can absolutely tell that people are experiencing audio issues because the concurrent viewership just took a slash substantially. Right around the time I mentioned a particular individual's name, if you know what I mean.
Well, everybody who's listening right now, if you could share the video on every social media platform. This is the only thing that I can ask you to do. If YouTube is trying to suppress the stream or they're having technical issues, take the URL, whichever platform you're on, share it on X. Everybody right now all at once. And if we add, you know, 30,000 tweets all at the same time, then Timcast Live is trending.
The URL will be trending. A lot of people have pointed out to me that, you know, I've done this show for a long time. The Tim Pool Morning Show and Timcast IRL are global top podcasts. It's amazing. Thank you so much. We're nowhere near the biggest, though. But we have some of the biggest metrics. It's great. And what I've been told is it is in spite of
of what YouTube has been doing to try and suppress this show. And I believe it for sure, because we've been for some time at first I would consider to be like moderate liberal. Stop making me defend Trump to Trump's really proven himself and he's doing a better job and he's the right choice because Democrats are increasingly going insane. As you know, in 2020, I was I was for the Democrats. I was for Tulsi Gabbard and Andrew Yang. And boy, the Democratic Party let me down.
They have consistently tried to suppress that. And if you take a look at some of these liberals, it's really fascinating to me how I just got to be honest. You know, let me let me get a little egotistical here, if I may. I pulled up some of these liberal shows and I'm like, how do you watch this? To be fair, perhaps sometimes my words are a bit verbose. And that may be the problem. Some of these people probably need very simple emotional arguments. Trump is dumb. He's so dumb. I don't know. Whatever.
But I do genuinely believe that we here at TimCast, not just this show, but all the crew here, we do a good job of providing context on these stories. We're fairly rational and moderate on these issues. We have an extremely high watch time, a large subscriber base. Our recommendations are extremely low, indicating, well...
First, I just say we must suck. I'm not going to assume conspiracy where there's only circumstantial evidence. Fine. The show is just not that good. People don't share it when I ask them to. And we're only as big as we're ever going to be. So be it. I do kind of think, though, when you get tons of people saying that the audio cut out for no reason, but only on YouTube.
especially when I name a certain individual, that these kinds of conversations are problematic as there are powers that be that want centralized authority in this country and that is more easily attained when there is narrative control. So you wonder why it is that Timcast IRL averages some of the highest watch time and highest concurrent viewership, but they don't recommend it. You know, I guess, whatever.
What's interesting to me is that people who start watching the show tend to watch and become dedicated viewers. No, seriously. So we started running ads for this, and we get tons of emails, tons of messages. Our churn rate for IRL is really low, meaning we have sustained growth.
Well, that would be great for YouTube. Should they promote that? In fact, just the other day, this morning show, as well as amazingly yesterday, we had 20,000 currents. And this was still one of the biggest live streams in the world for the day. And Tim Castile was in the top 10. Tim Castile tends to do relatively high in the in the top live streams in the world. But more people are starting to get in the competitions getting fierce. But still, this morning show, check this out. You want to know what's fascinating?
Timcast IRL on YouTube and Timcast IRL on Rumble are both of themselves global top live streams. So I really do appreciate all of you guys who watch. But considering the issues that we face.
Smash the like button and share it when you can. Anyway, now we got a whole censorship element of the story because people started complaining about audio issues and nothing I can do but call that out. But let's jump over to where one more powerful element of the story. My friends, there is a powerful apparatus that exists within this government that exists within our corporate structures. They receive money. They live in a world where they're better than you and they know it.
I don't want to live in that world. And I think one of the reasons why this show has grown in spite of the censorship is because, well, we're a fairly moderate show. Both shows that we do. They call me a milquetoast fence sitter. It's fairly moderate. But come on, like I'm obviously on the side of free speech, civil libertarianism, moral tradition, etc.,
But for the most part, we'll bring in a neocon. You know, a lot. Eliahu, who does field reporting for Timcast, is very, very much expansionist American neoconservative type ideologies. We'll bring him on. I got mad at him once. I yelled at him. I had to apologize. The apology was warranted. But I just got so mad because I'm so anti-war. I'm like, America first. Secure our borders. Stop fighting overseas.
We got Ian who's crazy and a lot of people love him or hate him. The goal is to have an eclectic view. We bring on more liberals, but they're terrified of the conversation because, well, they're all wrong, you know. So we have libertarians, moderate liberals and conservatives and dedicated Democrats just don't want to come on the show. You know, when they do, they get roasted. But I think that's a threat to the infrastructure. Powerful corporate interests. They want a docile American population who buys their, you know,
freezer meals, eats garbage with weird chemicals in it. They don't want people like RFK Jr. making the country healthy. They don't want strong, independent America. I do. And I think that's the problem they have with us is that Tim Kast wants you to be fit, to be strong, to be self-reliant and to own chickens. And they don't want you owning chickens. They're trying to get rid of all of them. And, you know, I'm half joking, but they really are trying to get rid of the chickens.
With all the bird flu stories and then the culling and the egg prices. It's pretty wild.
What I want for you guys is to be of strong mind, capable, confident, and taking care of yourselves. You know why? I don't want to do it for you. And I don't want you to touch my stuff either. So you don't touch my stuff. I don't touch your stuff. But that means I need you to know how to fish, hunt, survive. I mean that figuratively. Because then I don't want someone coming on my door knocking and being like, I don't know how to get food. And I'm going to be like, bro, I can help you out. Okay, but you do you, I do me.
We got to be morally responsible. There's got to be merit. I want you guys to be smart and capable. The other thing, too, is
A dumb population votes for dumb things. And then you get oppressed. Then the government knocks on my door and they're like, sir, we're taking your chickens. And then I'm like over out of my cold, dead hands. But I don't want that to happen either. I believe the American people have a right to be self-sufficient in the food they grow. And I jokingly have the Booneys HQ skateboard, 20th Amendment. Let me let me pull that one up for you. And we haven't done a Booneys HQ shout out in a minute.
But I do sincerely mean this, which is why I'm going to pull this up. This is one of our best selling skateboards. The 28th Amendment, the chickens being necessary to the security of a free state. The right of the people to keep and breed chickens shall not be infringed. Look at that chicken right there. Isn't that the greatest doodle ever? The purpose of this is only half of a joke. I like to be silly. But the point is, I genuinely believe there should be an amendment to the Constitution that guarantees the right of the people to be secure, safe,
In producing food and sustenance for themselves and their families. Now, maybe not having roosters in a city. OK, fine, whatever. But there are a lot of places that banned people from growing their own food, capturing water and raising chickens or other animals. I believe that is wrong.
The much like I believe individuals in this country have a right to work. I believe you have a right to grow tomatoes in your garden. And there are places that forbid you from doing it. And they say, well, then you get too much and it's attracts animals. And I'm like, yeah, too bad, too bad. The community will have to figure that one out. But you have a right to feed yourself and not be reliant on the state or private enterprise. Now, let's grab this last element of the story. Trump firing all the Biden appointed U.S. attorneys.
We'll keep this one simple. You get it. He posted on Truth. Over the past four years, the Department of Justice has been politicized like never before. Therefore, I have instructed the termination of all remaining Biden era U.S. attorneys. We must clean house immediately and restore confidence. America's golden age must have a fair justice system. That begins today. Indeed, my friends, tell me why.
Give me a real reason why we should retain any employee of the federal government if the duly elected president says they should be terminated. There's only one. There's one good reason. And I heard this and liberals are hooting, hollering about it. An active duty member of the military who was deployed can't be fired while they are deployed. And I'm like, OK, OK.
Like, I don't care. Fine. If you work for the government in some government job and you're also a reservist or you're in the military or whatever it may be, however this works, then sure, we will not fire you until you get back. Or maybe you're one of the people we do want to keep around. Not a guarantee.
But I don't I don't see an argument if the head of the executive branch with the sole power vested in him wants to say you're fired. Who's going to stop him? Now, let's be a bit more nuanced in this. Trump is obviously talking about Biden era U.S. attorneys. Well, they were hunting down little old ladies, right?
Clearly, these are not law enforcement priorities. Oh, 60-year-old woman who was walking around the Capitol. Oh, get out of here, dude. You know, the J6 thing that really grinds my gears is if you've got like a 40-year-old guy bashing a cop, we're like, I get it. That guy should be arrested and go to jail. I don't care who you are.
I do think a couple of years in prison is probably long enough. So the commutation or the pardons, I think, are fine. I think that the people who are violent should be commuted and the nonviolent should be pardoned because are you seriously going to hunt down a guy because he walked in, walked in a building and walked out? Spare me, dude. I don't even think that for leftists, like a leftist who it's a cop. It's like two years is enough, man. You don't want to waste our money and taxpayer dollars in these prisons.
That being said, the priorities of these attorneys was clearly not justice and law enforcement, but hunting down people for ideological reasons, as evidenced by the fact they don't hunt down far leftists. Now that Trump is in, we're starting to get a little bit of it. Trump in his first term was a little light on all of these things, but it's about time to be completely honest. Now, this, of course, once again, is being called a massive power grab. They're saying Trump is weaponizing things. He only wants loyalists. It's the stupidest argument imaginable. Get out of here. I don't care.
They should be loyal to Trump. He's the president. In what reality are we supposed to accept the argument that we want disloyal prosecutors? It's laughably stupid. If Biden got in and said, I want prosecutors who are loyal to me, I'd be like, I guess. I mean, he got elected. The issue largely for conservatives and Republicans, they don't believe Biden actually got elected.
But I do. I think Biden actually got elected. And I'll tell you why. Because what is this? The chat froze on me. Getting elected isn't about convincing a population. It's about winning the seat of power. We call them many people have referred to our elections as miniature civil wars. I don't think so. I think largely it's been the uniparty deep state just agreeing with each other.
But Biden got elected. And you might argue, yeah, but they they did this that or otherwise. I'm like, uh-huh. And he got elected.
Because I don't view elections in the literal on the surface argument. There are people who say an election is when one man argues for his positions, another man argues his positions, and then everyone decides which one was right. That's not an election. That's like fairy tale stuff. That's like telling people that the tooth fairy is coming to pick up your tooth from under your pillow. No, the truth was your parents did that and gave you money.
for some reason. I don't know why, but it's fun, I guess. There was never a point in my life where I actually believe in tooth fairy because I had older siblings. So you live differently for those of for those with older siblings. You get it. Middle children are probably confused. But now they say elections are when they argue to the American people and then you cast your vote. And I'm like, oh, is that what you think it is? That's cute. Well,
Well, when you grow up, you learn that's a fairy tale and elections are about getting as many pieces of paper as possible and then convincing people with some semblance of power that you won. And if they seat Joe Biden in that seat, he won. Now, if Joe Biden wanted to hire a bunch of people who are loyal to him, I'd be like, that's what they do. The problem arises not in loyal prosecutors. It arises in that Joe Biden was probably not Joe Biden, to be honest, maybe Barack Obama, but whoever was in charge was hunting down little old ladies.
And OK, I'll be fair. There were some 40 year old guys who are nonviolent, who are hunted down as well. But the little old ladies plays well or with the with the key demo, you get more sympathy out of it. I'm half kidding. My point is these prosecutors, these FBI agents should all be terminated because they have proven they cannot operate without bias.
If they were equally divided among the far left and J6, I'd still have concerns and be like, look, some of these people walked into a building where the door was open. Not every part of the Capitol was smashed glass and people fighting cops. One side, the doors were open and people walked around confused, took selfies with police officers, stayed within the velvet ropes. Why are you hunting those people down while ignoring the far left extremists who are firebombing the White House?
Clearly, these people cannot be trusted. Therefore, I have no problem with Donald Trump or anybody else firing everyone. But let's bring this back home and bring it back home, of course. And then we'll grab some of your super chats. The original article where it all begins. Trump signing executive order to claim power over independent agencies. Let me just say it this way. Trump signs executive order.
To manage independent agencies, Trump signs an executive order reasserting what is known to be true that the executive branch, the president has the sole executive authority vested in him. It's very strange, isn't it, that they've built this system that exists outside the Constitution over a long period of time. But I get it. You know, it's kind of like if you.
You know, over a long enough period of time, your monitor screen gets covered in dust. And then eventually it's hard to see what's on there. All of that dust needs to be wiped off. We blow on it. Get all that crud out of there. I'd say it's actually more like mold. Now, I don't want to say it's like mold because maybe rust. You know, if I was to say this country's gotten moldy, it would imply you got to throw the whole thing away. But I don't think that's true. I think Donald Trump has just found this beautiful medieval sword that
In a stone covered in rust. And he's pulled it out and said, this sword is really great, but we got to clean it. And then he started polishing it. And the Democrats are like, no, don't, because then you'll have a great functioning country and we want you to be weak and fat. So I'm here for it. I'm totally here for it. My friends smash that like button, share the show with everyone. You know, you know, I feel like I feel like when I say share the show with everyone, you know, it isn't really an effective means of conveying the idea that
Because it's just a fast little quit. I got to say something like every day an Ian goes to sleep crying because you have not shared the show.
Please share this show now and become a member at TimCast.com to join our Discord server and be involved in the community. And don't forget, Rumble Premium for all of our exclusive premium content, the Green Room Uncensored podcast, half an hour to 45 minutes long, every day, Monday through Friday. We are increasing it, plus the Uncensored Call-In Show at Monday through Thursday at 10 p.m. and feature-length documentaries.
We are currently in the pre-production stage very, very early for our next feature length documentaries. We got big ones planned. I don't think we actually have the budget for eight. After talking with these crews about the increase in costs for everything in the past two years, I'm like, dang, we really are not going to be able to get this done. Short films and mini docs we can probably pull off. But feature length documentaries are going to be hard. But I think they're important. I think we should do it. Certainly, they're not going to be as massive as like, am I racist? Which was incredible. Shout out to Matt Walsh.
But if you check out Infringed and Game of Money, you get an idea. So go to Rumble.com slash Tim Pool. And in the playlist, you can see our feature length documentaries, Game of Money and Infringed. Infringed is really great. I mean, they're both really, really great. Game of Money is actually a bit more evergreen talking about how money works in this country. That one's going to be huge for you guys. Infringed may be a little dated at this point because it was about gun rights a couple of years ago, hosted by Lauren Southern. I recommend you guys check that one out.
But sharing really is caring. I'll say it again. I wonder if we can do that thunderclap thing. If everybody shared like 20, 23,000 people on YouTube, we've got on Rumble 7,000 people watching. If 30,000 people right now shared watch Tim Kass live.
That would instantly be the biggest show of the day in the world. I'm not exaggerating. 30,000 shares in one minute. Be cool. Let's grab some of your super chats and rumble rants and see what's up.
Valkyrie says, to be honest, I don't want a dividend from the from the cut government waste. I want it all thrown at the national debt. And it's a good point. But as I was saying, a five thousand dollar stimulus will generate more economic activity. It'll create more than five thousand dollars per person. So basically what happens is one guy's got five grand. He spends that and that five grand goes all around in various areas. Sales tax. It goes into obviously income tax.
The money that goes to another person, it all keeps getting spent. And the generation of economic activity will create more than $5,000 per person. So economic activity generates more tax revenue. Fact. But, you know, still, I think maybe you're right. Wyatt Caldenberg says, check out Just PA, cheapest housing market in the US, JST PA. I bought a house for 17,000 nonstop flights from DC to JST, Redis County in PA.
JST, huh? Grease Monkey says Tim needs to make a Trump impression compilation. They make me laugh every time he goes Trumpian. You know, sometimes I actually try to do a Trump. Usually I'm doing like a cartoony, a cartoony Trump. It talks like this. And it's like intentionally not that good of a Donald Trump because Trump actually sometimes he talks like this. And I think, you know, I don't think I have the best Trump. You know, I just do it silly.
So Sakharin says your mic is cutting out, Tim. I must stress to all of you that ain't on our end because those that are watching on Rumble said there were no issues, no issues indeed. And then people said they refreshed YouTube and the issue went away. So what can I say?
Caldra Verswish says, hey, Tim, I love the hard work, but wanted to make a small correction. Being a Battlefield fan, the prosthetic lady was in Battlefield 5, which was World War 2. Battlefield 1 was the last good Battlefield game. That one was World War 1. Ah, I stand corrected. It was Battlefield 5, the pink haired prosthetic lady. I just remember those videos going viral and people are like, what? What is this? All right, we'll grab some more super chats here. MBJ says, I take the 5K to fix my negative equity car loan.
Yeah, man, I hear you on that one. Indeed. I want to give a shout out to Elon Musk for slashing the prices of all the Tesla vehicles and gutting my equity. I'm not really mad about it. I want Tesla to succeed. But it is true that...
It was a couple of years ago, Elon announced they were cutting the price of Teslas down to increase the market. I think it was a good move for the company. And I like Teslas personally. But anybody who owned a Tesla just saw their equity get eliminated. So a lot of it is kind of brutal. If you own a Tesla on finance, like let's say you bought a Model S used for like 100 grand. And then he slashed the price down to 50. And you still owed 80 grand. You'd be like, I owe 80 grand on a $50,000 car I can't sell.
Being underwater is not fun. So it's kind of brutal. But look, man, Elon Musk is a guy. He's a smart guy. You'd be stupid to think otherwise. He's got a great mind. He's doing great things. And I'm very, very excited for, look, as much as we rag on Neuralink,
I know that if I was ever injured in such a way where I couldn't see here or I was partially paralyzed or completely, I'd be begging Elon Musk for Neuralink. So that technology is wonderful. Absolutely wonderful. Already, he said in the interview with Hannity, there are people who can control computers with their mind better than people with their hands. And that's amazing because I what was it? Someone was playing civilization with their brain.
Man, if that were me and I was just stuck in a bed, I'd be like, hook me up, bro. I will play Civ all day. That's all. I'll play whatever. I mean, think about how insane it would be to be playing, I don't know, like Marvel Rivals.
And there was this scandal, I guess, where they were like, you can't use mouse and keyboard on console because people have obviously developed workarounds with USB. Because mouse and keyboard is way easier to aim with the mouse as opposed to the controller. Imagine you're playing a team shooter and then one of the guys on your team is controlling the character with his brain directly.
You'd be like, yo, that's unfair. I can't compete with that. He's perfect aim. But the game's going to be like, well, we can't ban him because it's an Americans with Disabilities issue. It's the only way he can play. Hey, yo, man. So I think Elon's doing really great work in that regard. I really do. Jason Dixon says, Tim, from your Discord, like Roman Nation, It's Based Gaming runs a game creation content with developers.
He makes the game you wish you could and you want your kids to play. Well, Jason, why don't we get we had Normie Quest was the name of the game that went into production, like got frozen and then never got finished. And it was a functioning game. We used to play it all the time. The story was you were a construction worker at the top of a skyscraper and you get a text alert that police have killed an unarmed black man.
And then the main character is like, oh, no, I'm sorry, I'm ruining the story for you guys. The story was he gets his phone vibrates and he looks and it says, you know, little Billy's Billy's Little League game 2 p.m. And he's like, can't miss that. Then instantly another thing pops up that the police brutality incident, you know, killing an unarmed black man.
resulting in mass protests. And so Normie, a regular guy who's uninterested in the protest, has to make his way down the skyscraper and make it home to get to his son's Little League game. The whole thing was a joke. We were like, will we get banned on Steam for that? Because it was meant to satirize just the modern politics, but I'm sure the left would lose their mind over the concept.
But it was basically a roguelike top-down game. Think Spelunky. And I'm a big fan of Spelunky. And your character, the first level is unfinished skyscraper. The second level is semi-finished. The third level is finished offices that are vacant. And the first level has functioning business.
and we got pretty far in the development of that game, but then it just fell into development frozen hell and never got done. We had a multiplayer version. We had a multiplayer King of the Hill battle attached to it where two characters would play in a skyscraper where you can climb to the top and collect items and then battle it out. The game was really fun. We used to play it all the time. I posted clips on Instagram. You could wall jump and stuff like that, and then never got done, never got released, and I was like, why don't we just open source it, put it out, get someone to do it?
So there you go. Wyatt Kaltenberg says JST is Johnstown, PA. Only locals know this. Ah, we'll ride on. Red, guys, we're going to wrap it up. We're a couple minutes over, but that's always okay. Smash the like button. Join the Discord server at TimCast.com for all of our exclusive members-only content, for which we've got a lot more planned. Rumble Premium. So go to TimCastPremium.com to sign up.
and that will redirect you instantly to Rumble. Use the promo code TIM10. It's all default if you go to timcastpremium.com. Here's the best part. You get Steven Crowder's content, too. That's right. Get Timcast Premium, and then you can go watch Crowder's stuff. That's actually pretty awesome. Mug Club, you can watch that. Dan Bongino, Ruben, Russell Brand, Charlie Kirk, all of the creators that are on Rumble. DrDisRespect.com.
all in one location. It's not just our content. You get everybody's content. And so that was basically the pitch. What's really cool is when we do the Uncensored Call-In Show, we now have a large portion of viewers who are Mug Club members from Steven Crowder's show watching Timcast. That's network power, baby. So what we want to do is build a sphere of cultural influence. Obviously, we can't do it all as little pocket islands with a gigantic Hollywood in the middle.
So with Rumble, we have basically built a massive archipelago, as it were. Not just the islands, but networks. And we are unifying, sharing audience, sharing influence. Hopefully, with the expansion of the Casper franchise locations, we get a foothold in meatspace, as we call it. And then we're going to have substantially more influence in sharing our values. Though we may disagree from time to time. Then, of course, we have the Discord server.

A debate rages on. Who is at fault for all these plane crashes? Could it be that there's just freak accidents and sometimes planes crash? Or could it be DEI? Well, all these Democrats are coming out saying that this is all happening under Donald Trump's watch. So clearly it's his fault.
Meanwhile, conservatives are saying, y'all implemented these insane policies for years. It was bound to catch up to us at some point. We're lucky Trump is here to start to reverse the damage. Now, my friends, a plane crashed in Toronto a couple days ago. You know the news. And a viral video has emerged, a couple of them actually, of Delta and Endeavor Airlines, who operate these flights, bragging about their unmanned flight crews. That's right. They brag about how they have all female flight staff.
The question is not, my friends, can females fly planes? Of course they can. The question is, what percent of commercial pilots are female? And of those females, how many hours of flight time do they have? I know flight time hours doesn't necessarily indicate your skills, but it does correlate for obvious reasons. How many hours have you flown a plane? You know, a lot of people don't realize this.
When you want to get a pilot's license, you can't just go to the DMV or the Department of Air Vehicles, whatever, and get a license. It actually requires a lot of hours. There's training for different kinds of weather, nighttime flying. The first time you get your license, my understanding is you can fly during the day only and if it's sunny. And then it actually requires a ton of training to be able to fly at night in inclement weather, let alone snow.
So here we have a crash. There were no crosswinds. The runway was dry. And right now people are saying, hey, wait, wait a minute. Why hasn't Delta released any information on these pilots? The presumption for many people is that these pilots were women or in other way, otherwise DEI hires. So the issue then becomes if Endeavor and Delta want to hire only women, they have to go down the list of
to accommodate that. Because the bell curve for women will have a much smaller pool than the bell curve for men. Meaning,
If you're trying to get more men on the plane, you're likely going to find that many of these women have lower skills than the pool of males simply because there is a greater quantity. Let's put it this way. If 10% of men are qualified to fly these planes and 10% of women, that sounds pretty even, right? Until you realize that only about 5% of commercial pilots are female, meaning you have 20 times less the amount of female pilots.
So if you're looking for the best available pilots that are the best available pilots, you're going to find 20 guys and one woman. How then do you fill an entire plane or a fleet or whatever it is you're trying to do? Well,
How about we do this? We got a lot to break down. I've got the data for you on DEI comments from Democrats saying it's Trump's fault. I don't think it is. This happened in Canada. But how about we play these two videos so you could understand the priorities of these airlines? I want to just stress, my friends, the priority should be keeping you safe and getting you from point A to point B, sometimes A, B to C. You know, unless you're on a multi-leg trip, you're going around the world instead.
I got to tell you what I find so absolutely cringe about these videos is like, look, man, these women in particular, I ain't saying all women, but there are there's videos of guys and they're working on oil rigs and they're drenched in mud and grease and they're just working at it. They're not sitting there going, yeah, boys, manpower. Yet in these videos. How about this? I used to work for a couple airlines for an airline and the male pilots just smile and
It's like, take a picture. Here's a video. And it's like, we hear fly planes. The female videos are always about how it's because they're female. If they're prioritizing being women over being good pilots, the company, then don't be surprised when you get crashes. But let's get into it. And I'll play these videos for you first. Girls, come on. Leave the saving the world to the men? I don't think so.
I don't think so. It says when you have an unmanned flight crew and the woman is bobbing her head. There's a bunch of women all bobbing their heads. Congratulations on your unmanned flight crew. Oh, no.
This is at Endeavor Air on TikTok. They post tons of these. And here's a woman flying a plane, writing something down. And I will stress this. Women can, of course, fly planes. But if you're prioritizing all female flight crews, that means you are cutting off the majority pool of competent people who can fly. That means you likely have to go down the list. Let me say it again. If one in 20 pilots are female,
To get two on a plane would mean you are likely going, like, I'm sorry, like, it means you're overlooking people who are more qualified. The music is really annoying too. Once again, this is a collab, this is a collage or montage of at Endeavor Air on TikTok. And it's just all women. Delta Endeavor. I guess Endeavor is their like regional carrier. This music is really getting on my nerves.
So let's just mute that. Now, look, when it comes to flight attendants, male or female, I really don't care. You got into Harvard Law? Oh, no. What is this? It says you got into aviation? What, like it's hard? All women, once again. I have no idea what this is. What is your name as a group? The Click. The Click.
Click or cleek? Click. Let's do it. Oh, no. It gets worse, you guys. There's another one. I love this. From the Express Tribune, it writes, Delta upside down plane crash allegedly involved all female crew. Okay, I don't think that's true. We don't know for a fact.
Delta Flight was allegedly an unmanned, was unmanned with all female crew, sparking debate on DEI hiring practices. I don't know what Express Tribune is, but Google sends you this article. It's the first article that pops up. There's no evidence to suggest that the crew was all female. In fact, this individual right here looks to be a crew member who appears to be male.
I'm not saying we know that the flights were flown by females. I am bringing up this point that the airline goes real hard on trying to highlight how they hire females.
And so, well, we don't know for sure about Delta and we're still waiting for the data. I want to get into the politics of what I think may have occurred or what may be occurring. Here you go, ladies and gentlemen, for your viewing displeasure. Another one of these videos. Did somebody say slave? OK, and now there is a bunch of women walking from in front of the plane swinging their hips. OK.
Did somebody say slave? There's their all-female flight crew. You know, I want to stress this. I have been on planes with female pilots that have been absolutely fine. Women can absolutely fly planes. And I feel bad for all of the competent women who are just trying to be pilots, but they can't get past all of the diversity hiring stuff. This is exactly the point that Charlie Kirk was making.
The question then becomes, if your company prioritizes hiring females over anything else, are they hiring competent pilots? And if we know they prioritize identity over merit, then you're going to be sitting there being like, ma'am, you may be the greatest pilot in the world, but I know your company hires based on identity and not merit. Thus, why would I not have a fear that you are not capable of flying this plane?
And and this is where we end up now. Express Tribune actually is running the narrative that allegedly it was an all female flight crew. This is I don't I don't know that I believe this. Some people are saying that you can hear someone talking to air traffic control who is who was a male.
Others have responded that the people usually talking to air traffic control are not flying. So maybe it was a female captain with a male copilot. I don't know or care. OK, first, I'm glad everyone's OK. There were some injuries, but everyone's OK. Absolutely looks like pilot error. There have been tons of comments on the plane crash already. Most of them seem to be that the plane did not flare properly.
Everybody knows this because we've all been on planes. When a plane is landing, the nose tips upward. It's slowing its speed as the rear landing gears touch the ground, and then it slows down as the front gear makes contact. This reduces the amount of immediate force on the landing gear, allowing it to absorb the energy. Duh. When you watch the video of the Delta crash, it just belly flops. It goes straight down. Did not flare.
All the comments you see online are saying pilot error, except for the liberals. They're like it was the weather. Yeah. First responder said there was no crosswinds and that the runway was dry. There was concern that the wind was at 35 knots and 35 to 37 or so. Some have commented that they should have gone, you know, gone for like a what it's called. They should do a like a repass or whatever, like go back up, come around and then try and land again.
Either way, if that was the case, it's pilot error. The pilot should have said, have you ever been on a plane that had a missed landing? I have. It was coming down and then they stopped and started going back up and said, we're gonna have to re-approach and make another attempt at this one, guys. I forgot what the reason was. I used to fly twice a week, so it happened. This pilot should have done it. Now, maybe it was a dude, whatever. The question is, have they been hiring people who are not qualified to
Well, let's ask our good friend JetGPT to break it down for us. I got GPT and Grok because they pulled up the data and you're going to love this one. I said, how many commercial pilots are female?
And the response I got as of 2022, women constitute approximately eight point five four percent of commercial pilots in the US with eight thousand nine hundred and twenty five women holding commercial pilot certificates out of one hundred and four thousand four hundred ninety eight. Globally, the percentage of female airline pilots is estimated to be estimated to be between four and six percent.
Well, the number of female pilots has been gradually increasing. Women remain significantly underrepresented in the aviation industry. Efforts are ongoing to encourage more women to pursue careers in aviation and to address the factors contributing to this gender disparity. Could it, in fact, be that most women don't want to fly planes? I just don't understand how we live in this world where they're like, the only reason women don't is because they were socialized not to. Well,
Women want to carry babies in their bodies. Most men don't because they can't. Right. Is it possible that men and women are different? Perhaps the motive. I mean, let's just talk about testosterone. You know,
Guys punch each other in the face for fun. I mean, not well, actually, I was going to say kind of as a joke, but literally they do. Combat sports are hugely popular. Substantially more men doing combat sports. The amount of women that are engaged in any kind of these activities that are typically male dominated, it's relatively low. And, you know, if you watch these dating podcasts, they like to point out that women don't do anything. Women don't have hobbies.
And it was like the whatever podcast. And like whenever they would ask him, like, what are your hobbies? They're like, I go out. It's like, what does that mean? It's like I hang out with my friends. Like, but what do you do to do anything else? And they're like, no, I'm not. I'm not disparaging women because like over this women and men are different hobbies. OK, let's let's go back to I got to pull up more of this data because we're we're we're going off on a tangent. But my point ultimately is this. Maybe I can make this easier to read.
Hobbies. Men engage in dopamine-inducing activities substantially more than—well, I shouldn't say dopamine. Everybody's got a dopamine release. But, like, men do activities with quantifiable goals. We like sports. Women tend not to. Some women still do. Men and women are both humans.
But the reason why I think we see 5% to 8% of pilots being female is because it's largely a male activity. Testosterone drives guys to do certain things. Estrogen drives women to do other things. And they're like, we got to get more women flying planes. Well, if they don't want to and they're not applying, don't force them to do it. Okay. So I asked Grok.
As the most recent data, it says the percentage of commercial pilots who are male and female vary slightly. They say globally it's about 6. I'm sorry. It says 6.34 non-student pilots. The figure drops around 4.9 when specifically looking at airline pilots, which is what we want. Globally, estimates from the International Society of Women Airline Pilots and other aviation analysis suggest that women make up between 4 and 6 percent.
So I asked GPT and Grok to make graphs showing us pilots by gender and amount of hours flown. Grok can't make pictures, apparently, so it gave me all the data. And then it was like, here, let me use text to draw a picture for you, which is fairly impressive, but still like silly. So taking a look at this attempt at drawing a picture using text.
You can see that the amount of females in general, ultimately meaningless relative to the amount of males. Now, take a look at this right here. 80,000 men have over 10,000 flight hours. That makes them masters less than five. And look at this. The highest bracket is two little M symbols and still no females anywhere near there.
Now look at this F just around the 10K mark. If we bounce that, we can say that there's about 5,000 to 6,000 men who have 12,000 to 13,000 plus hours. 12,000 to 13,000 hours.
Now, if you've got less than 5,000 females and you've got 90,000 males and the 90,000 males have comparable flight time, imagine how many men you have to skip over to try and hire females. Now, Grok does a bit of a better job when asked to make a graph because it can actually draw the picture. Take a look at this.
Commercial pilots by hours flown, male and female. So if we're looking for to look at this, man, the amount the amount of pilots with 20,000 hours for female is near zero. And for males, it's near 500, 20,000 hours. That's a lot. But let's go to 10,000. We want masters, masters.
I don't even know that you need 10,000 hours to actually be a pilot. We'll ask. So we're looking at, according to ChatGPT, and I believe these numbers are probably incorrect because it doesn't add up to the 100,000, I believe. Actually, maybe it does. Maybe Grok is wrong. No, I don't know. I think the number's kind of—well, I wonder who's right. Either way, when you look at the comparison, you can see—
Grok, I'm sorry, GPT says about 3000 dudes and it looks like 200 females. OK, so you I mean, that makes sense, right? Eight percent. That's that that's the number we're looking at. Eight percent are female. If you want Endeavor and Delta to have an all female flight crew, how many qualified men or more qualified men are you skipping over? Because let's play this game.
You've got fifteen hundred men with over fifteen thousand hours of experience. How many of these men do you have to say I will not hire to try and get a female pilot or I should say an all female crew? That is to say, there are many women who clearly qualify. The concern I have is they outright say they're trying to address the gender disparity. No, no.
Anybody who wants to be a pilot can take the test. They take the test, then they can succeed. They can be a pilot. This idea that we need to tell when they have to be pilots if they don't choose to be is insane. But that's the nature of the DEI stuff. And here's where we are. Let me post. Carolyn Leavitt blasts irresponsible Chuck Schumer for blaming Delta plane crash on Donald Trump, even though it was in Canada. Look, they shouldn't. They shouldn't play this game. It's a dangerous game because, uh,
It's not going to be D.E.A. termination of D.E.I. employees or anything like that because this was in Canada. However, it may be the likelihood the probability here is D.E.I. diversity. I should say diversity, inclusion and equity die because of what this risks the risks are. Girls, come on. It's auto playing stuff. So if we were going to try and assess this, is it Trump's fault? Is it diversity? Well, we don't know for sure in either capacity, but it's certainly not Trump's fault. It was in Canada.
There is a possibility. In fact, it was diversity. It's incredibly irresponsible for Chuck Schumer to say such a thing when the investigation is still underway. And as you rightfully pointed out, John, this crash unfortunately took place in Canadian airspace with Canadian air traffic controllers overseeing it. And the facts...
about the FAA are that no air traffic controllers have been let go by Secretary Duffy or this new administration. In fact, Secretary Duffy has put great emphasis on hiring the best and the brightest air traffic controllers who want to be part of the FAA. And President Trump signed a very strong executive order to ensure that the FAA and all
federal government agencies are focused on merit and skill-based hiring. We want the best and the brightest, the most competent individuals in positions, especially of public safety at the FAA, the Department of Transportation, and all departments across this federal government so we can best serve the American people. So while Secretary Buttigieg and the Biden administration sat on their hands when it came to aviation safety for four
years. This administration is taking it seriously and is actively recruiting the best and the brightest to join this very important field. Well, I will also just add the fact that it was in Canada and it was their aviation administration also kind of suggests it might still be diversity, equity and inclusion because Canadians have all of this in their government. I mean, the U.S. did too, but Trump's been getting rid of it. But either way,
Can't be Trump's fault. Didn't fire anybody from the FAA. So how does this happen? Well, when you watch the video, like I mentioned, the plane comes down, doesn't flare, tilt it slightly to the right and just belly flops. I mean, it was coming in hot and fast and it did not slow down. I'm not a pilot, but I can read my first assumption as a layman, which is worthless, by the way, my opinion is probably wrong, was that it's pilot error.
based on the statements from people who are pilots. And there are a lot of comments on the internet and they're all fairly worthless too, because you know who these people are. But some of the people we know to be pilots that have posted were saying that it should have taken another pass. It should have gone back up, turned around. There were no crosswinds. The runway was dry. And a bunch of the pilots said, why it didn't flare, right? And I'm like, I don't know what that means. But basically what they're saying is that it's when it tilts up. So we get that. Somebody made a mistake.
It could be, guys, I mean, there's a harsh reality to this. It could be that, like, let's entertain all possibilities. And then we'll talk about Occam's razor. Maybe the pilot suffered a grand mal seizure right at the last minute. And as they're coming in for a landing, they black out. The co-pilot's like, pull up, pull up. What do you do? What do you do? Crunch.
Maybe I really doubt it. In the absence of evidence, the solution that makes the least amount of assumptions tends to be the correct one. And that is Endeavor has bragged about all female flight crews. That's why people are speculating this. It's called pattern recognition and presuming based on what is more likely to be probable. Democrats, the left and the corporate press don't want to admit it because it would make their stupid policies. Well, it would expose them for their stupid policies.
Me, I don't know. I think those videos are funny. In the meantime, if we don't get a handle on this, it'll only get worse. Smash the like button. Share the show with everyone you know. Comment! Donald Trump has just bodied Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, calling him a dictator in this very long truth social screed. Maybe screed's not the right word, but it was intense. And the media and Democrats, they are losing their minds. Of course, that's what they do. Trump calls Zelensky a dictator after Ukraine's leader accuses him of living in disinformation space.
Now, the Democrats, of course, are upset because they think we should be sinking hundreds of billions of dollars into Ukraine. Donald Trump is trying to bring up bring about peace because we don't have a really strong interest in this. It's Europe's interest and Europe ain't upholding Western values. So what are we really gaining from this?
Well, my friends, as many demand that the U.S. I should say many in the U.S. demand that we stop funding this war. You do have many that are demanding we keep funding it. Now, the problem Trump and many others have pointed out is that, well, Zelensky is a dictator. He's a dictator. He's not having elections. I love this argument because Democrats come out and they're like, how is he supposed to have an election when part of the country is under occupation by Russia?
Yeah, it's it's it's called you in other areas. You put up ballots and then people can determine if they want Zelensky to continue to be their leader. And they say the Constitution says they can't have elections. That's right. Not in wartime. I say I don't care. Zelensky suspended elections as we can't have them. And I say that flies in the face of our values. Why? Because during the Civil War, we held an election. Yeah. But what about the 11 states that were the Confederacy? Yeah.
Well, we just did it without him. But how is that fair? Don't they get a say? No, they don't. They were under the control of the Confederacy. Not everybody in those states was in favor of being in the Confederacy. And as to whether or not they were or weren't in the majority, we don't know. The governments largely wanted to secede. But many people need to understand this, especially in civil war. The war broke out. It was only seven states.
And I believe it was like 60 percent against secession in Virginia, which eventually came to be the basically where the capital was for the Confederacy, Richmond. It was Richmond, right? I'm pretty sure. And what happened was after the Fort Sumter thing, Civil War breaks out. Seven states are like, yo, we out. Four states are like, no, we ain't doing this. Sentiment among the public was largely against it. However.
Lincoln then conscripts a bunch of people, sends the troops in, and four states were like, yo, this has gone too far. Never did you get 100 percent support in any of these states. That is to say, in the Civil War, there were proud American pro-unionists, large portions that were under Confederate control.
Even though they opposed it and they did not get a say in the election and the election happened because the people in the in any territory have a right to determine. Now, the Confederates did have their own elections in 1861 and Jefferson Davis ended up winning. So there were people who were like, well, this is what we're going to do.
Right now, what should happen is Zelensky should have had election elections and the remaining free areas of Ukraine can vote if they want him to keep leading them in this war effort. Or maybe they want someone else. Maybe they want to say we need a continued full assault from someone more competent than this guy. He sucks. Maybe they were going to say it's time to surrender, negotiate peace with Trump. Zelensky is saying, no, I can do whatever I want. And the Democrats are backing him. Boys, isn't that funny?
Well, let's instead of me just reading it from CNN, let me pull up Trump's truth, which is wordy. Donald Trump posts. Think of it. A modestly successful comedian, Vladimir Zelensky, talked the United States of America into spending three hundred and fifty billion dollars to go to war, to go into a war that couldn't be won, that never had to start, but a war that he without the U.S. and Trump will never be able to settle. The United States has spent two hundred billion dollars more than Europe.
And Europe's money is guaranteed. While the United States will get nothing back. Why didn't sleepy Joe Biden demand equalization? In that this war is far more important to Europe than it is to us. We have a big, beautiful ocean of separation. On top of this, Zelensky admits that half of the money we sent him is missing.
He refuses to have elections, is very low in Ukrainian polls, and the only thing he was good at was playing Biden like a fiddle. A dictator without elections, Zelensky better move fast or he is not going to have a country left. In the meantime...
We are successfully negotiating an end to the war with Russia, something all admit only Trump and the Trump administration can do. Biden never tried. Europe has failed to bring peace, and Zelensky probably wants to keep the gravy train going. I love Ukraine, but Zelensky has done a terrible job. His country is shattered and millions have unnecessarily died. And so it continues.
Well, let me show you the response when everyone's saying, no, no, we can't have elections. Before we do, of course, head over to rumble.com slash Timcast IRL. Check out Game of Money. You guys are like this one at the 19 minutes and 19 second mark. You can see me. I think I'm 25 hunched over with headphones on sitting in New York. Harrison is one of the major figures in the Game of Money documentary talking about, you know, Occupy, finances, the Federal Reserve and things like this. And it is available. Well, look at that. Game of Money's got 205,000 views crushing infringed with 21,000. How is that possible?
Well, to be fair, Game of Money is a bit more evergreen. The story and the issue of money and how it plays in this country is, well, it's still relevant today. Infringed was a bit of its time. And of course, Casper Coffee. But let's let's let's let's head over here. So there's this tweet from Elon Musk. And he says, given that we have these proposed community notes, it's going to be amazing. Given that we are supposed supposed to be defending democracy, there should be a democracy.
Bricks News tweeted U.S. President Trump calls for Ukraine to hold new elections. That it's not a Russia thing. That's something coming from me. We've got two different community notes proposed. Let's try this one on the post from Trump. It says the note by poised of notes suggesting context to be shown with the post. This one's not. OK, here we go.
You cannot hold elections in a country that is in an active war. It is in their constitution. So Trump wishes Ukrainians break their constitution. Sure. Yeah. Literally don't care. You got to do it. It's incorrect. The approval ratings of Lenski are at 4%. Latest polls have met 52. Trump's probably wrong about that. Trump also said, my understanding is that Ukraine started the war. They certainly did not. Russia did. Blah, blah, blah. Everybody's basically saying the same thing. Let's go back to the Elon Musk community notes.
Zelensky won the 2019 election with nearly 75% of the vote, promising to bring his country into NATO and stymie further illegal Russian aggression and annexation of its territory. Russia launched a full-scale invasion. Sure. Article 83 of the Constitution of Ukraine prevents new elections from being held during martial law. Oh, you see the game they're playing? The Constitution says they can't have election because of martial law, because Zelensky declared martial law. Okay, get out of here, dude.
Ukraine is under Russian invasion and the logistics of an election during this period are difficult to orchestrate. Ukraine endorses a far greater number of democratic rights than Russia does. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. It's a lie, baby.
Here we go. Matthew Boyle says this is breaking news alert from Washington Post just got emailed out without evidence. How about this? Zelensky was elected in 2019 to a term that was supposed to end in May of 2024. He suspended elections, which were supposed to happen last spring. Trump, without evidence, accuses Zelensky of being a dictator without elections. What do you mean without evidence? He literally didn't have an election. These people.
Let me give some history, my friends, so we can all laugh at how stupid these people are. I asked our good friend Grok, how did the U.S. have an election during the Civil War if the southern states were controlled by the Confederacy?
Great question. The U.S. did indeed hold the presidential election in 1864, right in the middle of the Civil War. Despite the southern states having seceded and formed the Confederacy, here's how it happened. The election of 1864 took place on November 8th, and it was a contest between the incumbent President Abraham Lincoln, running as the National Union candidate, a temporary coalition of Republicans and some more Democrats, and Democratic nominee George B. McClellan. At this point, the Confederacy controlled much of the South, but the election proceeded in the Union-held states and territories. Interesting.
Key points and how it worked. Southern states didn't participate. The 11 states that seceded, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia were under Confederate control and did not participate in the U.S. presidential election. They had effectively removed themselves from the union's political process, so no electoral votes came from those states.
Two, union-controlled areas still voted. The election was held in the 25 states that remained loyal to the union, including border states like Kentucky, Missouri, and Maryland, where slavery was legal, but secession was rejected. Some parts of the confederate states that had been recaptured by the union forces, like Tennessee and portions of Louisiana and Virginia, also participated to a limited extent under union military governance. The electoral college was adjusted. The soldiers' vote was crucial, but the
But the Confederacy held its own elections. The Confederate States didn't vote in the U.S. election, but had their own government led by President Jefferson Davis, who had been elected in 1861 for a single six year term. They weren't interested in rejoining the union's electoral process. Why hold an election at all? A question perhaps Democrats and Zelensky can ask.
Lincoln in Congress saw the election as a powerful symbol of democratic resilience. Canceling or postponing it might have signaled weakness or illegitimacy, undermining the Union's cause. By holding it, Lincoln reinforced the idea that the U.S. government would endure despite rebellion. Plus, the war was turning in the Union's favor by late 1864. Sherman's March to the Sea and Grant's Siege of Petersburg were underway.
So the election also served as a referendum on Lincoln's leadership. In short, the U.S. election went ahead without the Confederate states because the union treated them as temporarily outside its jurisdiction, not as a permanent loss. It was a bold move that paid off, cementing Lincoln's legacy before his assassination just months later in April of 1865. That is, Zelensky needs to have a referendum on his leadership. And these territories are simply outside of their jurisdiction temporarily.
Why won't he have an election? The Democrats are lying to you. It's what they do because they want war and conquest conquest for nonsensical reasons. Well, my friends, during the Civil War, we had an election. The Confederate states did not participate, but Lincoln said it was a referendum among the states they controlled whether he was doing the right thing. It's quite simple. The people of Ukraine have a right to determine if the war should continue under his leadership. That's it. But Democrats seem to think it shouldn't.
There shouldn't be an election. OK, so when Trump says that it's a dictatorship, there you go. I'm going to wrap it up there, my friends. Shout out to Trump for embodying Zelensky. I'll throw this in at the end. They tried putting a community note on mine when I said they should have elections. And this is this is the point of the whole tenant media thing. Let me just make sure it's clear for everybody. I got no problem talking about it. Tim cast our culture war show.
had a license agreement, non-exclusive, with a Tennessee-based media company run by a prominent conservative podcaster. That's it. What they try to do now is claim that we had done a deal with Russia, which we never did. We have never taken money from Russia. I have never taken money from Russia. I have rejected attempts by RT in the past to buy licensing to any of my content. I won't sell to Russia. So the whole point of the smear is to claim that my opinion is somehow wrong and
Because there's an allegation, which has never been proven, that some Russians operating in Eastern Europe sent money through a shell company to a conservative podcaster in the U.S. who obfuscated the source of that revenue and then licensed shows from prominent conservatives in the U.S. How many of the media is getting money from USAID? Look, I got no problem saying shut down all the money from Russia, cancel their swift contracts. I don't care. I can say the same thing of USAID. How many news organizations are crying because they're losing their government funding?
indirect government funding, cry about it. Smash the like button, share the show. Thanks for hanging out. We got we got some more segments coming up for you and we will see you all shortly. It's about to get spicy at the southern border, ladies and gentlemen, and here in these United States, as the Trump administration has labeled eight Latin American cartels as foreign terrorist organizations. If this escalates into direct conflict, rest assured,
This conflict will not be fought in some far off land. It will be fought in our states, in fields, in front of your homes. And some of your children will witness it. It's a paraphrasing from a great movie, The Patriot, a warning from the main character played by Mel Gibson. Understand what it means when you engage in war. Now, that is not to recoil before the enemy. It's to make sure you understand what could happen if Trump takes this to the next level.
Cartels are operating in the United States. They're all over the country. They are gangs. They are smuggling drugs and children. And you know what? This country should put a stop to it. But that means there will be safety threats, risks and a conflict. There's a viral video. It's very funny. It's this woman and she's like, Trump wants to go to war with the cartels. Good luck. And I'm just like, do you think the cartels are more powerful in the U.S. military? Come on. That's silly. The cartels are powerful.
And they are not people to be trifled with. So Trump must make sure he does this correctly. But there is a concern we may see conflict within the United States as foreign terrorist organizations in Mexico and Latin American countries. This implies action will be taken. Now, the question is, how do we handle it? Well,
From WVN-STV, the Trump administration is formally designating eight Latin American crime organizations as foreign terrorist organizations, upping its pressure on cartels operating in the U.S. and on anyone aiding them. The move carrying out a January 20th executive order by Trump names Trende Aragua in Venezuela, MS-13 and others. The designation will be published in Thursday's edition of the Federal Register, according to a notice Wednesday.
The Republican president has made securing the U.S.-Mexico border among his top priorities, vowing to carry out mass deportations, sending active duty troops to the border, and reaching deals with some countries to take in more migrants. The notification is due for formal publication in the Federal Register Thursday. Let me tell you a story about the cartels, my friends. A story that many people already know. First, the surface story is when you mess with the cartels, largely MS-13 cartels,
They don't just end your life. They make an example of you. Ten or so years ago, 15 years ago, there were some anonymous hackers. Now, the anonymous hackers, it's not a real group. Anonymous literally means what the word means. But the media didn't like that, so they pretended it was an organization. Literally, anybody could put a message out saying signed by anonymous, meaning I'm not telling you who I am.
Well, there were a couple of guys in Mexico who had made some posts on social media about corruption, and they were murdered and hung from a highway sign. Their corpses were just seen by everybody who drove past them. They have reportedly flayed people alive. Yeah, these groups are brutal. So you got to understand, they use that brutality on purpose to try and stave off any conflicts to prevent people from rising up against them.
Well, now they may have just angered the beast in Donald Trump. And although I never, you know, the U.S. military is nowhere near that brutal, effective and numerous. So, yeah, this could get hot. They say the foreign terrorist organization label is unusual because deploys a terrorist as a nation normally reserved for groups like Al Qaeda or ISIS that use violence for political ends, not for money focused crime rings such as the Latin American cartels.
What did I just explain? They use violence to send a message to avoid opposition, to prevent political uprising against them. They take out politicians, not any one of these groups. They're all gangs. The Trump administration argues that the international connections and operations of the groups, including trafficking, migrant smuggling and violent pushes to extend their territory, warrant the designation.
And that's what we're talking about, ladies and gentlemen.
Trump's going to save your avocados and bring the cost down. The cartels dumped a lot of drugs and started moving into the avocado business because millennials spend a lot of money on avocados. They're not illegal. Eight groups say some past U.S. designations of groups as foreign terrorist organizations have threatened overall food imports into countries, for example, by making shipping companies fearful that U.S. prosecutors may accuse them of directly or indirectly supporting the groups.
Mexican President Claudia Scheinbaum responded to Trump's order last month that set up the new formal designation, saying Mexico would defend its sovereignty and independence while seeking coordination. We all want to fight the drug cartels in their territory, U.S., us in our territory. Well, I have this tweet here from Clint Russell. Clint says...
This is going to be insanely bloody. Border states will likely be attacked. This is not your standard Middle East war 6,000 miles away. Thousands of cartel members are already in the U.S. I know this is a very popular move with MAGA, but I really think it's a bad idea. Strap in. Well, let's entertain this. I mean, it's brutal. There's a real risk to anyone who tries to challenge the cartels. Will you be safe? That's a serious question.
You speak up against them. You rally enough against them and they'll come for you. So I see what Clint is saying. Let sleeping dogs lie, he says. This is Mexico's problem. We should secure our borders. I'm probably maybe reading a little bit too much, but I think leave Mexico to Mexico's problems. Mexico's problems shouldn't be our problems. That being said, if enforcement is kept to the borders and standard criminal law enforcement in this country,
I think we're good. What I don't want to see is an expansion of war. I don't want to see us going into Mexico with U.S. troops. Nah. So depending on what they do with this, there's a great point to be made. Now, I don't care if you're a cartel or anybody. We enforce the laws. We enforce the law. And Trump should secure the border. That's what we need to do. This designation will likely grant him more powers and the capabilities to make broader moves with more resources, send more troops, etc.,
I'm just fearful that they're going to send troops into Mexico or some kind of U.S. operation, which is a very, very, very, very, very bad idea. Here we go. Department of State, foreign terrorist organization designations on Trend de Aragua, Mara Salvatruca, Cartel de Sinaloa, Cartel de Jalisco Nueva Generacion, Carteles Unidos, Cartel de Noreste, Cartel de Golfo, and La Nueva Familia Michioacana.
Mitch O'Connor, Mitch O'Connor. I don't know how to pronounce his words. I could do a better. I could speak better Spanish if I tried. But sometimes when you're just an English speaker, you just say them like they're English. Cartel del Golfo. Cartel del Golfo.
Based upon a review of the administrative records assembled in this matter and in consultation with the Attorney General and the Secretary of the Treasury, I have concluded that there is sufficient factual basis to find that the relevant circumstances described in Section 219 of the Immigration and Nationality Act, as amended here and after INA 8 U.S.C. 1189, exists with respect to trend of error. And then they go on to name everybody. We get it. We get it. There we go. The State Department has hereby labeled them terrorists, baby. War may be coming home. I think what we want is mark and reprisal.
Letters of Mark used to be issued. It's actually really simple. And I think Mark and Reprisal is in the Constitution. Am I wrong about that? Mark and Reprisal. Yeah, it's in the Constitution. Where's no I want that constant. What's that Constitution Web page? Article one, section eight. Really? Article one. Let's pull it up, baby. Article one's right there in the front. Section eight. We're going to love you're going to love this.
Here we go.
Let's go, baby. What were pirates? So back in the day, if there's a couple of ways you can look at it. So the crown in the colonial era, back before the birth of these United States, let's say like France and England were at war. The English crown would go to a privateer and say, here's a letter of Mark. You are given permission by this government to laid siege to French vessels, steal whatever they've got, and it's yours.
privateers, corsairs. The French would be like, you are engaged in piracy against us. And they'd be like, that's a lie. That's a black sale. That's not us. That was the game, baby. So letters of market appraisal could be like that, or it could just be, we hereby bestow upon private entities the right to engage in these actions on behalf of us. Meaning they could go to PMCs and be like a letter of market
Have fun, baby. Meaning there's no criminal prosecution for the actions taken here. Perhaps they want to keep it a secret, but not necessarily. Now, here's the best part. I think it was Josie, the redhead of Libertarian, who pointed this out, that letters of mark in the Constitution, as per the interpretation at the time, confers that there is a right to own battleships. There is. Second Amendment. Yeah, we had all of that stuff back then. Now,
Where this actually goes, I don't know. To be completely honest, I really think it's not going to get to that level. I think Trump is doing this so that he can secure the border with more force. I don't see the U.S. going into Mexico, and I certainly hope they don't. But it is a possibility. I'm going to wrap it up there, my friends. Timcast IRL coming up next, 8 p.m.

Tim Pool snaps over Agenda 2030 laws in West Virginia. States are banning the right to work. This video got near 400,000 views, and I've got some updates for you as to where we are currently at. And as there's no real written articles about it, I just pulled up our post from TimCast.com.
And I'll explain to you possibly one of the most important stories that is being overlooked, which I've discussed and, of course, directly involves me and has me particularly angry. I will die on this hill, my friends. They are banning across the country the right for individuals to work for themselves. Joe Biden tried implementing this with the PRO Act. Libby Emmons pointed this out.
I've got an article breaking down how Joe Biden, while he was president at the federal level, tried to make it illegal for you to choose to do work unless you have government permission or work for a corporation. Where we are today right now is that most states around 34 have implemented these laws because they failed at the federal level that make it. So if you are an individual, you can not do work.
I'm not exaggerating. In West Virginia, we've had some of the local politicians say the law they passed in 2021 actually makes it illegal for a kid to mow his neighbor's lawn. Indeed, it does. They put and when I say illegal, it's not like it's a criminal activity. It's a civil penalty, meaning they are coming to us right now in West Virginia demanding we pay them despite the fact we've met the criteria of their law, because the purpose of the law
was not to be fair. It was to crush anyone who tried to freely engage in commerce. Let me give you the quick version. So you're going to say where we're at, and then I'll break down for you what these laws are. They're called Uber laws. As they began to emerge around the time Uber came into existence, unions and other Democrat institutions began pushing for laws that reclassify independent contractors as employees. The argument made by Democrats is that
You're just trying to hire employees without paying benefits. We got you now, Uber. No, actually, what Democrats are trying to do is make it so that anybody who works has to get permission from the government, meaning in 20 or 30 years, a I don't know, a young man, a 30 year old man who's born today. He wants to get he wants to make money. He wants to build birdhouses or write music or I don't know. He wants to be a reporter.
Can't start your own company. Can't accept money because that would be illegal. Well, what do you mean you have your own news brand under your name as an independent reporter? No, you have to file with the government for a permit for a business, for an LLC, get permission to operate. Then you can start selling your product or you can apply for employment under that company, fire all of their clients and work for one company. What do you mean? None of those are options for you. Too bad you can't work.
Here's how it should be. You're an individual. You can do work. You go to another person and say, hey, I'd like to do a service for you just for the day. And they say, OK, here's some money. Thank you for the service. Illegal in West Virginia. And I got the receipts. Now, the arguments they'll try to make are no, no, Tim, you're misunderstanding. The law clearly has a caveat. Well, I've got the laws for you. I'll break it down for you and I'll tell you what they're doing to us.
Agenda 2030 laws. The reason I say this is because the end result is you will live in the pod and you will eat the bugs. That is the plan for what they're doing with all of these laws, particularly with the PRO Act. This is from one year ago.
This is from the American Legislative Exchange Council breaking down the PRO Act and why it's not pro worker. This is important because this was a federal level action which would have made independent contracting illegal. And the corrupt unions are pushing this because they want to force. Here's how it works. You want to be an independent contractor? Sorry, you can't. They've banned it. OK, want to start your own business? Do you have a thousand dollars to file? Get a registered agent and do it. You don't. You're broke. Too bad. Too bad.
Well, you can ask someone to hire you. Oh, here's a company. They're unionized. You have to join the union. No right to work in this state. You can come and work for this supermarket, but they have a union and you got to give the union a cut of your money. Holy crap. I am so angry about this. When I got a job at Jewel Osco at 16, they told me, if you want to work here, you have to join the union. And I said, I don't want to join the union. I said, you have no choice.
We are required to have all employees in the union. And I'm like, so how much of my money do they take? I don't remember how much it was, 30 bucks a month or something. But I was barely making any money. When I joined, when I worked for O'Hare, they forced me to join the Transportation Workers Union. I didn't want to. They said, if you don't join the union, you can't work for this company. That is evil. These people are evil. I'm so pissed off. You have no idea. So here's ultimately what happens.
We we we get an audit. I probably should be saying a lot of this, but I'm going to tell you, let's spill the beans. And we're like, what's going on? Like, we don't do anything like everything we do is rather mundane. We have tax attorneys, corporate lawyers, and we have accountants. They do all the filings for us. Sure, whatever. It's real expensive dealing with an audit because we got to pay our lawyers for their hours. We do. They tell us we are not legally allowed to have talent contracts. Well, how does that make sense? We're a media company, high profile with tens of millions of views per week.
What do you mean we can't have talent contracts? The whole thing is talent. Nope, illegal. They have to be employees. Same time, you can't have them as employees because they're talent. So that's it. I guess we shut down.
West Virginia is running these super corrupt laws, I'm told, because the longest time West Virginia was a Democrat union state because of the coal mines and all that. The unions want to force you to join the union because they get a cut of all of your money, whether they help you or not. Now, I like collective bargaining. I have no problem if people come together and say, we want to negotiate. That's totally fine. But this is what they're doing at the federal level. Let me let me give you some context on the PRO Act, and then I'm going to talk to you at a personal level and break all this down.
So a year ago, they said the PRO Act would impose California-style regulations on independent contractors that severely restrict workers' ability to keep their current work status. This ignores the fact that almost 80% of independent contractors prefer their current work arrangements and that according to Mercatus Center Research, California's reform resulted in a significant decline in self-employment and overall employment.
Conversely, Alex Uniform Worker Classification Act, one of Alex's essential policy solutions for 24, helps protect independent contractors classification and workers rights to set working relationships that work best for them. Let's start here. Let's say that you are a news writer. This is the easiest example. I know I've given it before and probably in this video, but let's rehash it so you can get the context.
You write news articles. Libby Emmons of the Postmillennial, frequent guest on Timcast IRL, was mentioning that she used to write freelance for a variety of outlets. First, let me just say, we have lost three talent, three individual talent, talents over this law. Once they came to us and said, you can't do it. I said, OK, we went to the talent and said, here are the requirements and restrictions the state has imposed. And they all said we quit. And I'm like, great. So let me tell you.
Let's say you write articles. You're an individual who likes to write news articles on sports, video games and politics. So you go to a company and they say, look, we really don't need to hire anybody right now. But I really do like those articles. How about this? You want to write two articles for us, you know, per week or you can just submit them. We'll buy what we can.
They say, I'll send you the articles whenever I have them. Now, two articles might net you 50 to 100 bucks. You're not really worth that much money. Certainly you're not living off that. So then you go to another company and say, I got sports. And they say, we'll take a couple sports articles from you. So now you're writing about 10 articles a week. And let's say let's say you're getting 50 bucks per article. You're doing 500 bucks a week. You're not living too great, but hey, you can make it work. Along comes the pro act. Biden and Democrats evil, corrupt union garbage.
And the state says, this person writing articles for you, you're a news outlet. That's a core function of your business. That's an employee. And they say, no, they're not. They're a freelance writer. And we only actually buy from them sometimes. We don't need their articles, but we like to have them. It's good supplemental articles. This literally happened when they passed AB5 in California. Vox.com ended up firing hundreds of writers.
So this writer is now told, I'm sorry, you have to be an employee of that company, but they're not hiring. Well, then they're ripping you off. The company has to hire as an employee, but they only take two articles. The company says, look, bro, we have about an extra hundred bucks in the budget. We can pay you for two articles a week.
We can't. We have no money. Literally, the money does not exist in our bank account to hire you full time. I'm sorry. The law requires us to terminate our contract. We can no longer accept your articles. And you go, but I need that money. I'm barely striving as it is. The next website says the same thing. Look, our budget, we only have an extra couple hundred bucks. We can't afford a full time employee. Bye. You're fired.
Across California, all of these writers lost their jobs. Now, I'm not going to be crying for most of these writers, but let's say you make birdhouses and you're in your garage making a birdhouse. Well, how many birdhouses can you really sell? Let's say there's a...
business that says, we love your birdhouses. Every couple of months, we're going to buy a couple more for you. And you say, great. I just make them in my garage. I'm a sole proprietor. So you get a contract with them and they say, we want you to make us one new birdhouse every month for our locations. Sorry, that's an employee. But birdhouses aren't relevant to the business. Doesn't matter. In West Virginia, that's an employee.
Now, let me let me let me show you where we're currently at. And I'll give you the breakdown about ABC testing and how these laws are going to make it impossible for individuals to work. They already had. And I'll tell you what's going on with us. ABC testing. This is important. These are part of the Uber laws that are basically to figure out if you're an employee entitled to benefits or an independent contractor. Then I'll tell you all the problems outside of this. First, let me just say talent. It's very obvious. Let's say you're an actor.
Well, the movie business hires actors all the time. That's the core of their industry, is it not? Yeah, but all these people are on contracts, not employees. Some might be, but no, they're not. They're contracted. Well, Hollywood and the movie industry and the entertainment industry got a carve out in California specifically because
If you're an actor and you own tons of intellectual property, you're not going to be an employee of a company where by default, everything you produce is owned by that company, unless you have contractual carve outs, which nobody's going to do. So Hollywood was like, yeah, that law ends Hollywood. And they're like, OK, then you're fine. Uber got a proposition passed where they got carved out as well. So for the rest of us, we're not allowed to work anymore. Well, screw California. We cut ties. We don't do business in California because of this.
Here's the ABC test. Three conditions must be met in these states to be an independent contractor. A, the worker is free from the control and direction of the hiring entity in performing their work. B, the work performed is outside the usual course of the hiring entity's business. And C, the worker is engaged in an independently established trade, occupation, or business. Now, you'd think...
We can easily meet that criteria for contractors. Doesn't matter. Despite the fact that we here at Timcast have a professional IT guy, because he's an independent contractor, they told us he's actually an employee and we are violating the law. And I said, what?
We're not an IT business. One, he does what he wants without us telling him how to do it. We say, hey, we need someone who can do a thing. Do you know how to do a thing? He goes, yes, I'll do it. Give me time. Two, the work performance outside the usual course of the business. We don't do IT at all.
And three, he's engaged in an independently established trade. Yeah, I.T. and business development. They told us it didn't matter because it's not about actually upholding this. This is the lie. So they have grounds to say we determine if they're an employee. You got a problem. Sue us. So now I've got to spend tens of thousands of dollars to send my lawyer to the state of West Virginia because they're trying to F us over. This is how evil this stuff is. The list of states that use ABC testing is massive.
You can see that Maryland and West Virginia around there. Virginia, surprisingly, is not. The problem with Virginia when we were considering relocating is that it's a deep state stronghold and we have other things to worry about. So, for instance, Virginia uses what's called an AC test. So they don't have the B in there.
So it's better, meaning, you know, let's say you're a media company. We could contract someone who is in the media business so long as they're a professional and that we don't have control. That actually makes a lot of sense, especially for talent, because we're not going to put talent on. And I'll explain why. Let me show you this. What are West Virginia's criteria to be an independent contractor? The written contract should include things like
They're going to be a contractor. They're not an employee. They get no compensation, workers' comp or unemployment benefits. They're responsible for paying their taxes and they're responsible for their own supplies. Okay. The business structure, they either have to file taxes, which is on them, or operate through a business entity. Okay. The individual must have actual direct control over the manner and means by which their work is accomplished, with the exception for laws, regulations, licensing, et cetera. They have to have control over how much time they spend doing it.
They have to be able to do whatever they want. It's not exclusive. They're free to access independent initiative and soliciting others to purchase their services. They're free to hire employees or contract with assistance helpers or otherwise. So it says that according to this, I believe, additional criteria, they must satisfy at least three of the following conditions. In West Virginia, we have talent. So at Timcast, we have talent contracts. I don't want to get into the specifics because I don't want to expose anyone's private information or decisions they have made.
Let me just stress, of course, our contractors meet all of the criteria. Despite meeting all of the criteria, they told us it doesn't matter. And their employees, we're in violation. And now we have to pay a premium. We have to pay extra for all of the time we ever contracted them, which is the high five figures, which is insane because it means we can't hire somebody now because that budget's being stripped away by the state who's trying to rip us off. So let's break it down. As I already explained,
I mean, obviously, it's a bit personal because of West Virginia, but look at all the states that are doing this. This story is very overlooked, not completely because the PRO Act did reach a lot of people, but it's very overlooked in that this is one of the most egregious actions taken in this country. And they are outright making it illegal for you as a human individual citizen to work for yourself. Think about the criteria. They say, let me pull it up.
You have to file, be contractually required to file income tax returns or provide the service through a business entity. Let me tell you what happened with us. So there are individuals who are prominent in their field, famous with followings for what they do. And we said...
We'd like you to contract your talent services. We don't care when you do it. We don't care where you are. We don't care if you're in this state or otherwise. You can do it whenever you want, how you want to do it. We want your talent associated with us. And OK, well, you got to pay your taxes. That's implicit. They file a tax form.
We went to them and said, despite the fact that you meet all the criteria, West Virginia has told us they still will enforce against us unless, despite the law, like I said, you register a business, get a permit, operate in West Virginia, and obviously everything that entails, which means you're going to need to open a bank account. Three people said, I'm not doing that.
I mean, first of all, it's going to cost several hundred dollars depending on how you register for expedited registration. If you want to keep working, it could be upwards of 800 to a thousand dollars. If you don't live in West Virginia, you need a registered agent. So we lost three people. Some of our contractors were already operating through their businesses. But three of our individual talents who will not be creating a business entity in West Virginia said, no, no, thank you. Bye. And that's it.
This is the evil of the laws. What's going to end up happening is, as I already mentioned, it's going to be 30, 40, 50 years from now. There's going to be a 20-year-old, and they're going to say, I need to make money. I know how to—I'm very good at playing music.
And they're going to go somewhere and say, hey, I'd like to play music for your business. I could play in your restaurant's lobby. I can play guitar. And they're going to say, we don't have the budget to hire a full time guitarist right now. That's crazy. I mean, you think let's say 30 years from now, you think we can afford minimum wage of $80,000 a year? Ha ha. I get the joke. Now we can't afford that.
No, no, no, no, no. Like, I don't need 80. Just if I if I play here on Friday, Friday nights, you can pay me, you know, two thousand dollars for the night again in four or five years. You get the point? Maybe not two thousand, but you're like, you know, you pay me a thousand bucks. I'll play for two hours. We can't do that.
Are you a registered business? Do you have a permit to operate? You have to be a business that sells a service. And they say, well, I don't have any money. I can't register because I don't have the money to do it. If you just hire me. No, no, no. You don't get it, kid. That's illegal. We can't do that. Buy. That's where we're headed. And maybe it's not music. Maybe it's literally anything. Maybe you want to mow someone's lawn. Kid goes and knocks on the door. Can I mow your lawn for $100? Again, 40 years. Ha ha.
And they say, sure. What's your LLC's name? Where can I wire the money? And that kid goes, I'm just a kid who wants to mow your lawn. Sorry, kid. We're not allowed to hire you. That's a crime. You'd have to be an employee of my house.
Now, they argue, no, no, of course we're not doing that because that's the trick and the manipulation. Of course, we're not enforcing against that. Then we here at Timcast get a phone call and they say, yeah, sure. We know that your contractors meet the criteria. We don't care. We're coming after you anyway. Sue us. They're playing the gamble. The gamble is that it's going to be more expensive for us to fight. And our lawyer is going to advise us just pay them the hundred grand.
That's not the exact number. I'm saying high five figures. They're going to say, just pay it. Just pay it. Because otherwise, going to court, you risk losing, you risk fees, and even if you win, you'll spend more. That's the game that West Virginia is playing. So I don't really—we don't really have a choice. We either eliminate all talent. So let me explain why we at TimCast can't do it any other way. Well, certainly—
Our contractors meet the criteria of all of this, right? So let's say we contract talent to appear on TimCast IRL. Let's play this game for West Virginia. There, here's an independent contractor. They don't produce anything for the company. They don't put computers together. They don't record videos. They sit and they appear on TimCast IRL and talk about whatever they want.
They're not an employee. They don't get compensation at a worker's comp or unemployment benefits. They got to pay all their own taxes and they're responsible for whatever they need to appear on the show. It's whatever. It's talent. They got to file their own taxes or whatever. Let's say they don't have a business entity because they're literally just some dude with a million followers on X and X pays them in their state with no issue.
They must have actual and direct control over their work. That's right. We don't tell anybody who appears what to say. We don't say you need to say these points. Here's your script. We say you do whatever you want in your appearance and it's promotional for their other work. Okay. Time control. They have control over the amount of time they personally spend providing the services except for agreements. Well, that one's iffy because the show is two hours.
Okay. So we say, well, this is when the show does happen. So that's out. They have to be here. Okay. Now let's, so, so those first two, they don't qualify, but you only need three non-exclusivity. They're not required to work exclusively for one principle. Well, that's obvious. That's one.
They can go and work for anybody else. They're only just appearing on this one show. And if they don't, it doesn't really matter. We just want them as talent. So one accomplished. Independent initiative. They're free to exercise independent initiative and soliciting others to purchase their service. 100%. You're a contractor here. Anybody can hire you as talent. In fact, often they are. The people that we want to hire for talent appear on TV shows, in music, and they do whatever they want. We have no control over that.
They're free to hire employees or contract with assistance helpers or substitutes to perform all of part of their work, not for appearing on a show. Contract flexibility. They cannot be required to perform additional services without a new or modified contract. Bing, bing, bing. When we contract a famous personality to appear on a show or documentary or otherwise, we can't make them take the garbage out. No, the contract is specific for the town. Three, done. We've met the criteria.
We've accomplished three at the very least. And that's only for specific talent. Imagine we said so what what they're telling us is we want to do documentaries. If we go to someone and say, can we contract you? We're going to pay you X amount over these months to appear in this documentary. They said, no, that's an employee. I said, we'll never get a host. We'll never get anybody to to fire their agent and their manager so they can be an employee of our company. Now, let's let's let's we'll keep going. We'll keep going.
Workspace licensing obtains a license or permission from the principal to use any workspace. I don't know what that has to do with anything. IRS audit says the principal has undergone an employment audit by the IRS and the IRS has not reclassified the individual. We don't, that's meaningless. And business responsibilities, they're responsible for maintaining and bearing the cost of any required licenses, insurance, bing, bing, bing. That's four. Four criteria met. Despite that, our talent, actually, most of them met all of the criteria.
Because what we were talking about was, for our talent, promotional, meaning they can spend any amount of time, whatever they want. They could appear wherever they wanted. They could work with anyone they wanted. They had their own initiative to do whatever they wanted. They were literally free to hire their own people to assist them in the promotional work they do. They couldn't do any work outside of the contract. We couldn't require that. Workspace licensing is
to use any work, obtains a license or permission from the principal to use any workspace of the principal to perform the contracted work. That doesn't apply and didn't make sense. They don't. Oh, or permission. Well, yeah, they would certainly have to request permission. So they met that one. And the IRS audit status is weird. Business responsibilities, they bear all the cross. That's that's eight of nine. And West Virginia told us, nope, employees. And I'm like, yo, that guy's in New York. And like,
How is that an employee of our company? And they said, we don't care. So I don't want to go too long with this. I think obviously I'm ranting on what I'm pissed off about in West Virginia. But I'll tell you, the problem for us as a company is actually really quite simple. We are a media production company, meaning we produce intellectual property. Like this video right now is the intellectual property of the company. Okay.
Anybody, this is how typically it works when you're an employee. Anything you produce as an employee as to the purview of that business is property of that business. So like if you get hired to paint pictures at a picture painting company and you're getting a salaried job that's not hourly and they say, we expect 10 paintings every week for the company.
If you paint one and then go, this one's mine in my own time, they're going to be like, no, that's not how it works. We hired you to make paintings for us. We own all of them. Now, there's contract carve outs and things you can do to say anything you paid off site, you can keep. Typically, it's not how it works. Let me give you an example as to why. Let's say a music label, a record label says we want some bopping beats.
We're going to hire a producer at $100,000 a year to write 10 songs for us. Homie writes 10 songs on his own time as a salary position. He is an employee with full benefits. Then the company says, yo, number four is a number one hit. That's a banger. And he goes, I wrote that one on my own time. That one's mine. They're going to go, what? Yeah, that one's mine. Well, no, no, no, no, no. We hired you on salary to write these songs for us. What do you mean that one's yours? Well, I was off the clock when I wrote it.
They're going to say, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Just because now you recognize that it's extremely valuable and that we would want to pay more for it, we already paid you for this job to do this. Hence, typically, when you work for a media company, all of the media you produce related to that business is owned by the company. Here's a challenge for us. We do it all. We make music. We make documentaries. We make podcasts. We make music videos. And so we're like, look, we're an eclectic bunch. We do a lot of different things.
We don't want to own the IP of talent who come to contract with us. So for top tier talent that are not doing basic functions of the business, we say you're going to be an independent contractor. We don't want to have anything to do with your other businesses. We don't want the liability from it either. West Virginia is basically saying we have to go to these people and tell them we own everything you do from now on. We can't do that.
Let's say a literal rock star shows up and says, I'd like to do a song with you or an album. You're an employee now. Well, no, I'm going to give you the songs I decide to give you of my own volition. And I'm going to tell you when something's mine or not. Nope. West Virginia says you'd be employee. It's like, OK, well, I won't do it. And we're like, OK, bye. That's it. That's what West Virginia is doing.
So for us, the issue is, let's say someone says, Tim, carve out their contract and say in the contract for their employment agreement that those don't apply. Can't do it. You know why? So we've already experienced this. Let's say someone is told you are being hired for a job. Everything you do is owned by the company.
They then make something. Let's say someone else at the company has a carve-out because of a project they negotiated when they were getting hired, saying, look, I'm going to work on a book that's carved out. We say, okay, what ends up happening? When the person we hired to do the job says, I made a banger, we go, okay, well, that's property of the company. You wrote that for us, right? They go, actually, he wrote it. And you're like, what? And they go, yeah, he wrote it. And you're like, he didn't write that. It's his. It's his property. He has a carve-out for it, remember? And then you go, what?
And so we've had circumstances already where we've gotten into disputes where someone tried claiming that the work. Oh, no, no, no, no. I didn't make that. They did. They made it. And so ultimately, we talk with our lawyers and they say, look, you can't have carve outs on this stuff because a carve out for one is a carve out for all because they're going to claim the other person did it. Same thing is true for nondisclosure agreements, not nondisparagement agreements. We don't have those for nondisclosure agreements. If one person has an exception, then all they have to say is I didn't say he did.
And so basically, we separate contracts from employment for this reason. So prominent talent with their own IP is free to produce their own IP on their own time. West Virginia has said we're not allowed to do that. So we cannot hire talent to operate in West Virginia. We can't hire hosts to do our documentary so long as we're a West Virginia company. And that basically means we have literally no choice but to shut down and relocate.
It is impossible to operate in West Virginia as a media company under these laws. And they're coming after us and trying to take more money from us. So either we contractually require everyone who works with us to give us everything they own, which we don't want to do. Some people do have to do that. Some people do. Or we leave. And that's what the Democrats were trying to pass at the federal level. And I'm ranting, but I'm going to wrap it up there. Smash the like button. Share the show with everyone you know. Thanks for hanging out. We'll see you all in the next segment.
