Tremendous news for President Trump. Inflation has dropped to the lowest rate in four years. And why this matters is because the media was screaming that because of the tariffs, inflation was going to skyrocket. You've also got this viral post on the Reddit stocks forum telling people that they're in a cult and not to listen. If you are new to stocks, don't listen to these people. Why?
Because they were claiming that Donald Trump's tariffs would destroy the market and it could take years, if not a decade plus, for the market to recover. As of right now, the market has not only recovered, but some people have made a pretty penny simply by trusting that Donald Trump was working on some. You got to let him cook. You got to let him cook. I'm not going to sit here and pretend I know exactly what the man is doing.
These are bold and often outrageous moves. But right now, the markets are up. OK, and inflation is down. You'd expect Democrats or any sane, rational person just to say, well, I guess Trump was right.
See, that's where I come from, my friends. See, you know, if you go back and you look at my tweets in the 20, you know, the late 2010s, I'm saying, you know, I don't like Trump. I consider myself liberal. And then somehow, somehow I end up voting for the man. Could it be that it worked? This is what these cultists don't seem to understand, especially these woke right liberal types.
where and these are for those who don't know, they are woke people who adopted right wing talking points to try and manipulate the right. I call them the woke right because they're still woke. They're still liberals, but they're trying right talking points. They hate that Trump is winning. That's why I say it's woke. OK, I don't care if Joe Biden won. I'd say, guys, I mean, look, things are getting better, but they weren't under Donald Trump.
With his plays so far, things have been improving. And I don't know why people would assume otherwise. In his first term, we had the best economy we'd seen in a generation. Lowest unemployment. Inflation was down. People were making money hand over fist. So when Donald Trump gets in again, they try to attack him in every possible way. Now, get this. I've got it from KSBY.com.
I believe it's NBC affiliate. I've got it from CNN. Can you believe it? CNN even called Trump's market a victory, the China trade deal. But then I've got the Hill. I got some other outlets. They are trying as much as possible to smear Donald Trump, even though his plan worked.
They just want to say he's crazy. They want people to live in this world. You know what's funny? I'm going to pull this up. I am going to show y'all what you already know this. You already know what I'm going to show you. I'm going to pull it up anyway. See if I can find this post from at Timcast News yesterday. You don't need me. You don't need me to show it to you, but I'm going to show it to you anyway, because, well, maybe some of you not seen it.
At Timcast News and X, follow us if you don't already. Both pictures are from the White House press conference today. The orange filter, the fake news media placed on Trump is insane. Take a look at this. Trump has a fake tan. OK, I mean, it's not that pronounced. You can tell if you look for it. I have met this man in person on more than one occasion. He is not bright orange. Now take a look at this. Here's an actual video from the press conference.
Here's how the media runs CNBC. Look at this. They are absolutely saturating his face. I don't understand how it's possible that they're not. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if they actually used Photoshop to outline his face specifically and then increase orange saturation. Because look at his tie. It's blue. Same blue in the press conference. It's not that much more vibrant, which says to me.
They single out his face and then blast color saturation to make him look more orange. My friends, Donald Trump does have a fake tan. You're allowed to make fun of him for it. But they are doing this because they want people to view him negatively. They want to poison the well. I mean, CNN's been accused of doing it. CNN was accused of doing it to Joe Rogan. This is what they do. They are liars. Here's the story.
And I've got two sources for you. Consumer Price Index shows inflation has eased to 2.3. But experts warn that upcoming tariff effects could soon increase prices on essential goods. I'm going to give them that one. It is possible that we have just not seen the hiccup yet because there's going to be a couple-week bump. But I'm not so sure. That damage may just get absorbed in the revenue or profit margins.
Of the business, because they're not going to want to raise prices when competition exists. We don't know for sure. What we can say right now is inflation dropped despite the fact they were all screaming. Trump is going to burn the economy down. Inflation will be through the roof. Stocks are going to crash. Hey, where's CNN markets? CNN markets as of right now. Oh, you got me. Real time stocks stable down currently point four.
Yet nobody's crying over that. The S&P is up 0.05 and Nasdaq is up 0.32. Oh, no. Oh, no. The markets have completely recovered, completely recovered. Look, I was skeptical on universal tariffs. No problem saying it. I will tell you. I said it over and over again. I like selective tariffs on certain products and certain sectors. I don't know that a universal tariff on anything is going to work the way Trump wants it to.
Now we are seeing, at least for now, things are going well, very well, in fact. So I ain't going to complain about it. Maybe we see some negative effects. We'll we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. But the crazy thing to me is how the media, these liberals have to live in a world where Trump is bad, literally no matter what he does. He signs an executive order for HHS to negotiate down lower prices on certain drugs. And the left is attacking him.
I don't understand why you're not just saying like, oh, wow, thank you. RFK Jr., a lifelong liberal, said, I can't believe it. Thank you, President Trump. It's a dream come true. See, this is the difference between the cult and regular people. And I got some more for you on that regard. They're going to say today, Tuesday's release of the new Consumer Price Index indicates that President Donald Trump's newly imposed tariffs have yet to impact the broader economy.
as many economists predict that prices on consumer goods could rise in the coming months. Let me just say it like this, or they're wrong. I love how the assumption is it must be true because the expert said so, despite the fact it was supposed to have hit already. And now their only response is, well, midwill, but later. Okay, I'll give you a maybe on that one, but you were wrong right now, right? If the prices go up,
Then we will accept the prices went up. And I've said from the beginning, I am skeptical on Trump's tariffs. For the time being, all I can say is, wow, prices are coming down. Well, OK, I guess I guess Trump's got to play here. Hopefully it stays. We'll see what happens. But these people are lunatic cultists. Take a look at this from CNN. Inflation slowed more than expected in April, despite tariff related price pressures building.
You know, even CNN is saying it's inflation is down. We do an eye CNN. U.S. inflation slowed to its lowest rate in more than four years. Wow. An unexpected and welcome development at a time when President Trump's dramatically escalated tariffs are expected to cause prices to rise. I think CNN might be realizing that the anti-Trump grift ain't going to last much longer. And so they're they're coming around.
They say this is the lowest annual rate since February of 2021. Gee, I wonder what happened in February of 2021 that caused all the prices to start going up. Could it be that Joe Biden got elected and started enacting crackpot policies that caused all the prices to go up? Indeed. Take a look at this from the Hill. Inflation rose in April, reversing March decline.
I got CNN. I got CNN saying inflation slowed more than expected in April. Ah, now you see where it's going. You got this one from NBC affiliate. Consumer inflation drops. Oh, consumer inflation. So what's the Hill saying? The consumer price index rose 0.2%.
Last month and is up 2.3 over the past year, according to the Labor Department. The annual inflation rate without volatile food or energy prices was 2.8. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. What do you mean without food or energy? What are you talking about if you're excluding food and energy from inflation rates? That's basically 90% of what people are buying, food and energy. They're playing dirty games.
Prices fell 0.1 in March. The annual inflation rate was slightly higher at 2.4. These scumbags are lying. It was 2.4 and it's 2.3 right now. They have selectively removed food and energy so they can claim it's 2.8 and that it's higher than 2.4. This is what they do. Then they say this.
Economists expected price growth to pick up again amid deepening concerns of the impact of President Trump's trade agenda. But it didn't happen. That's the game they play. They lie. They lie. SF Chronicle inflation cooled again last month as grocery and gas prices fell with few signs of tariff impact yet. Amazing. U.S. inflation mild ahead of expected jump from tariffs. New York Times. Come on.
Just say it. It's down. Look at this. Look at this. You see this dirty game they played over at the Hill? Take a look. If you exclude food and energy, you have 2.8. But previously in March, it was higher than that. What the Hill did was they took the consumer price index of 2.4, then removed food and energy to show 2.8 and then said, see, it's up. It's actually up.
Scumbags comparing apples to oranges. Annual inflation rate hit 2.3 in April, less than expected and lowest since 2021. Indeed, indeed. What do you got this? And here's the market data from CNN currently. Oh, no, that point for decline in the Dow index has now dropped down to point three. To be fair, at the start of the market, it was actually up, I think, two percent. So that two percent is gone. But it was a jump. So stable.
I love this. He says...
Read the comments under every right wing dude who is like, quote, hey, maybe taking a plane from a leading sponsor of terrorism is kind of effed. To be honest, they immediately go insane. How dare you question our cult leader like this? Do you think that's normal, non cult like behavior? Holy ish. Really, Jess? He says, I toured with a band a few years ago where two of the members escaped some crazy ass cult and they have some wild stories, man. They all echo this MAGA BS big time.
You see, you see, he's saying we were a cult. The right, the MAGA. All right, I'll give you this. There are certainly Trump bootlicking cultists. Don't get me wrong. Oh, hold on. There's a problem with your logic, Jess. What do you mean? Right wing dudes are telling Trump he shouldn't take the Qatari plane.
Sounds like it's not a cult. Sounds like there are reasonable moderates, conservatives, disaffected liberals, libertarians and Trump loving conservatives. All who voted for this man indicating the Trump base is not a cult. He's got some culties. I'll give you that one. This is the problem with these people. Everyone to the right of Mao is one group.
Yeah, I think Trump should not take that Qatari plane. I understand Air Force One is old. I understand Boeing can't build it. Doesn't mean you should take a plane from a foreign country like that. They say, yeah, but it'll be built here. And that's not the issue. Apparently, Boeing doesn't have the parts for the 747, so they ain't going to be building it here. I say no. American made, American paid. And whatever. You want to get into it? Fine. The point is, on the right, uh-oh, there are people who disagree.
And that's and that's and I'll give him this. They got his his his weirdos. But hold on. Hold on. Look, brother. Right wing guys are questioning Trump. OK, it sounds like the Trump base isn't unified around one idea or that Trump is always right. Perhaps he could read that. Here's my favorite, though.
From Sal, the agorist, the agorist. Remember when Republicans were afraid Kamala would do commie stuff like price controls? But when Trump does it, Trump does it. It's OK. Kamala Harris wanted price controls on grocery stores. Trump is telling HHS to negotiate with pharmaceutical companies to get lower prices. Do you see the difference? Either way, why aren't liberals celebrating that Trump is giving them what they want? Ah, because they don't actually care. They don't actually want anything tangible.
They just hate Donald Trump. Jess, y'all are in a cult. If you can't accept that not everything Trump does is bad, sometimes he does things that are good. But you get the point. I'm just preaching to the choir, I guess. I do enjoy a day when I can expose once again how the media is lying, because the number one thing that grinds my gears and all of this culture war stuff is the lies.
The lies about everything. Tell people the truth, man. I'll wrap it there. Stay tuned. We got more segments coming up for you throughout the day. Smash that like button. Share the show with everyone you know. We'll see you all in the next segment. You know, in all honesty, I'm not sure anybody actually cares about David Hogg or Kenyatta. I'm not sure the other individual is. But the Democrats, the DNC held a procedural vote to remove David Hogg as vice chair.
You see, David Hogg told a bunch of incumbent Democrats, we are going to primary you. He said, we need to stop being a party that just it's like walking on eggshells around. Now, I think the dude is very what's the right word? He has no idea what he's talking about half the time.
Like when it came to Kilmar Abrego Garcia, and in order to maintain the woke cult-like adherence to his orthodoxy, he says he was not an MS-13 gang member and you damn well know it. Oh boy. You know, my friends, we're planning a Lib V Con trivia night for Culture War Live, where we're going to dedicate a portion of the show to a trivia game show where liberals and conservatives must answer questions...
About politics. And an example of one of the questions we'd use is going to be in which year was Kilmar Abrego Garcia adjudicated as an MS-13 gang member? And of course, the liberals are going to be like, that's a trick question. He never was. And the answer, of course, is 2019. The answer was 2019. A judge found him to be a member of MS-13.
We are not saying we are not asserting whether it's true or not. The question was, when was it adjudicated as such? You see, these people don't know what they're talking about half the time. But anyway, I digress. The funny thing about the story is that the Democrats are in.
Well, a civil war there, I said it. But the thing is, they need to unify around a core set of ideals that's going to win them the midterm elections and win them 2028. And it appears they don't have any. Not even David Hogg could try to come in and say, let's try to win back young men. They're like, nah, no.
You got to go. That's funny. Not even David Hogg could make it in. The DNC is garbage. It's always been garbage. But these people, you know, I'll tell you, I feel bad for David Hogg a little bit. Look, these young people, they're naive. I remember when Bernie Sanders was running and I was all like, oh, boy, Bernie Sanders. And the superdelegates came in and said, nah, I remember Obama. And I think what was it like? Hillary could have won. But the superdelegate said, now we're going to go with Obama instead. And she was all pissed.
The Democratic Party doesn't actually have a democratic process for elections. They choose who will win, who's going to win through resources, and then they can put their thumb on the scale with superdelegates. People get to vote just because they're in positions of authority and elite power. Well, see, people like David Hogg,
don't really understand how the system works. They think the Democratic Party will allow you to vote your way in. The funny thing is, the Republican Party largely does. I mean, they'll try and stop you. They'll play dirty games, not like the Democrats do with superdelegates. So
Donald Trump actually ended up winning and they were pissed about it, but he still did. Look at Bernie Sanders. Yeah, he ain't winning nothing. The moment Bernie walked up and said, I'd like to be president. They were like, yeah, that's literally never going to happen. Here's a story from The New York Times. DNC takes step to void the election of Hogg and Kenyatta as vice chairs.
The credentials committee of the DNC voted on Monday to void the results of the internal party vote that made David Hogg a party vice chair, ruling that the election had not followed proper parliamentary procedures.
The decision, which came after roughly three hours of internal debate and one tie vote, will put the issue before the full body of the Democratic National Committee. It must decide whether to force Mr. Hogg and a second vice chair, Malcolm Kenyatta, to run again in another election later this year. Hogg, an outspoken survivor of Parkland, this we know.
Plans to spend up to $20 million through another organization he heads, Leaders We Deserve, on primary campaigns against incumbent Democrats. Ken Martin, the party chairman, has said it is inappropriate for Mr. Hogg to intervene in primaries while serving as a party official. That's correct.
And has recommended changing the party's bylaws to force him to sign a neutrality pledge. You see, this is the funny thing. Maybe David Hogg really does get it. He's like, once I get into the DNC, I will overtly tell the candidates what they can and cannot do. And we will pledge money to destroy you. I think maybe he does get it.
They're going to say that Mr. Hogg's plans to engage in primary related. I'm sorry. The ruling committee on Monday was not technically related to Hogg's plans to engage in primaries. Instead, it was the result of a complaint by Kaylin Free, one of the losing candidates in the vice chair race. Ms. Freeze of the party had wrongly combined two separate questions into a single vote, putting at an advantage. I'm sorry, putting at a disadvantage the female candidates because of the party's gender parity rules.
In a statement, Mr. Hogg acknowledged the decision was made on procedural grounds, but said it is also impossible to ignore the broader context of my work to reform the party, which loomed large over this vote. The DNC has pledged to remove me, and this vote has provided an avenue to fast track that effort. Indeed, they did. Yep. Because you got was it Dick Durbin out of Illinois? He's retiring. Yeah, because David Hogg said we're going to come after all you guys. And he's probably thinking, I'm going to leave on a high note.
Not going to stick around to see if they try and destroy my credibility or my background, impugn my honor. I'm just getting out. And I think the institution of the DNC said, we do not want this. We want to keep the power we have and we don't want young upstarts coming in. So here's the funny thing. They can come up with any reason whenever they want to force a new election on David Hogg.
Now, if David Hogg's move is unpopular for these primaries, he will lose come the next election. They didn't vote to outright remove him, by the way. They did vote to begin the process of removing him.
Mr. Kenyatta expressed frustration on social media, both at the committee's decision and all the attention of Mr. Hogg, noting that he had won 298 votes to 214 and a half. You get a half vote for Mr. Hogg. He called the decision a slap in my face. And so the process was not about Mr. Hogg, even though he clearly wants it to be. In a statement, Mr. Martin said,
I am disappointed to learn that before I became chair, there was a procedural error in the February vice chair elections. The credentials committee has issued their recommendations, and I trust DNC members will carefully review the committee resolution and resolve this matter fairly. Mr. Hogg's intention to engage in primaries was not the subject of the discussion on Monday, which turned on arcane parliamentary procedures, blah, blah, blah. This is about fairness and making sure that three women,
And the voting members of the DNC are not disenfranchised, Ms. Free said in a statement before the meeting during which she enlisted a parliamentary expert to plead her case. Now, the question I have is, what were the questions that got lumped together? And how does that disadvantage women? And why then do these women get to have a new vote? You see how it works, DEI David? You see how DEI works? Bye-bye.
Leading up to the vote, the credentials committee had appeared torn on what to do. An initial resolution from Christine Pelosi, the daughter of Nancy Pelosi, seeking to dismiss the complaint resulted in a tie vote. A second resolution calling for a new election with the same candidates who participated in February was eventually approved. You see that? You see that? An initial resolution was seeking to dismiss the complaint and it got a tie. And so they caved and said, OK, fine, we'll have a new election. We'll avoid the last one. Why? Why?
Because the women didn't win, David. You know, it's funny as if if David lost and then filed a complaint, they would not entertain it. They'd say, no, you're a man. You're an oppressor, David. You oppressed these women. So I want to say this to David Hogg. You are an oppressor, you evil white man. And you should resign immediately because that's what DEI is all about.
Why? Why are you going to force these other people to go through all this process when you could simply resign your seat to this woman who deserves it more? You know, I'm going to give David Hogg this one. He is correct when he said that the Democrats need to try and get back young men.
That is fair. That is true. But it ain't going to happen because when David Hogg says, let's do it, a bunch of women file a complaint and then vote to hold a new election to essentially remove him from the DNC. So, you know, goodbye. These are your rules. These are the rules you want to abide by. An interesting phenomenon that we're seeing right now. Gen Z men went, I think it was like 56 to 42 for Trump.
And Gen Z women went 58 to 41 for Kamala. We are literally going to see a female Democratic Party and a male Republican Party in Gen Z. It's hilarious. There will be very few men, the Democrats, very few women on the Republican side. And it's literally going to be men versus women. Here's the problem. And I know it's offensive to a lot of feminists, but cry more. Men don't have biological clocks.
I believe the phenomenon we will see is that these Gen Z and millennial women are going to start shifting rightward. Not all of them. Some of them will stay childless cat ladies. And I'm not going to be mean, like literally they'll get cats and they'll stay childless. And the women who don't want to be childless and they want to have families, they're going to keep running into guys who are like, I'm not going to have a family with a liberal woman. Bye. And some of these women are going to change their views because they will run out of time if they don't.
Whereas a guy is going to be like, look, I don't want to have a kid at 50, but if I have to, I have to. Thus, it's nature. Cry more about it. I'm going to wrap it up there. Stay tuned. We got more segments coming up for you throughout the day. And you can follow me on X and Instagram at Tim Castle. We'll see you all in the next bit. Culturally, we've got ourselves a problem. Nihilistic young people desperate for attention. They have this pathetic need to be noticed.
And so what they end up doing is pranks or as some people refer to it, nuisance streaming. These individuals will go around causing problems, having the police called, and their goal is to create as much of a problem for individuals as possible so they can get clicks and views on the Internet. One of these latest is called the Apple pay prank.
where individuals will play a sound effect on their phone to make it seem like they're ripping you off through your Bluetooth or near field communications on your phone. It's resulted in security guards being called. It's resulted in fights breaking out. And it's not the only time this has happened. In fact, it happens so often that we have years worth of content related to this. And for some reason, these people are not in jail.
Save one guy who goes by the name Johnny Somali, who went to Korea, reportedly was trying to be a nuisance streamer there, and now he's going to prison. Why not in the United States? The video we opened up with is crazy to watch.
It's about a year old and you've got a guy who goes and is just harassing random people. But where it gets particularly disgusting and disturbing is that this prankster, who is a black man with another young black man, threatens to stage a fake race hoax against a young white guy and his girlfriend for no reason. Check out this video. This is my car now. This is my car.
Dude, this is my cart. Why'd you do that? Why the fuck would you do that? Are you going to clean it up? Bro, why would you knock your fucking cart over? You took my, you took my cart out. This is my cart. This is my cart. Are you going to take my cart and go to another aisle? Yes, I'm filming you. I'm going to put you on Facebook and call you crazy. I'm going to call you racist on Twitter. Yeah, this is my cart.
That dude should be in jail.
He should get arrested. I don't know how old he is. He should get arrested because our country, our culture, even in Europe, they tolerate this stuff. It's only getting worse. Now, you may have seen the story last week. Some TikTok pranksters claimed they were doing a 3 a.m. ding dong ditch. I'm not kidding. The homeowner, the homeowner is now in jail for murder.
I'm sick of this stuff, dude. These people need to be arrested immediately. TikTok is a problem because it's promoting all of these things. Even YouTube allows these people to continually engage in this kind of destructive behavior. Now, some people are saying, but Tim, it's free speech. Well, actually, there's disorderly conduct. And to be fair, disorderly is an overly broad statute. But this is what these people are doing.
About 40 minutes from where we live in Virginia, some nuisance YouTube pranksters, YouTube got up in the face of a guy in a food court at the mall. Seriously, the mall right by us. The DoorDash delivery guy, he's standing there and they get up in his face. He doesn't know what's going on. They're holding cameras in front of him. He thinks he's about to be robbed. So he pulls out a gun and he shoots the YouTuber. I believe he shot him in the chest.
The YouTuber survived and continued to make content. He should have been arrested and charged. They should have shut his channel down and said, stop committing crimes against people for views. Now, here's what ends up happening.
In Asia, this Jew, Johnny Somali, reportedly can't leave the country because he's going to jail. They say, is he going to jail? Almost certainly, yes. He is currently being charged with two counts of obstruction of a business, two counts of violating the Minor Crimes Act, and the most serious of them all, one count of producing and distributing a sexual AI video of a female South Korean streamer without her consent.
He's banned from leaving the country. He's already pleaded guilty to three of those charges, one obstruction of business and two minor crimes at his first court hearing in March. March. There's an old story, by the way. They say he really provoked the ire of the Korean Republic in October 24 when he started filming content around the so-called comfort women statues, statues of women scattered around the capital of Seoul that commemorate victims of sexual assault during the Japanese occupation.
Somali thought it would be funny to kiss them, dance around them shirtless and rub baby oil on them. Holy crap, dude. And then they make a video. They make videos and they promote it. And this is from April 7th as Ramzi Khalid Ismail, Johnny Somali trial update. The court has officially granted Rams public defenders motion to delay the April 9th.
to the next trial date of May 16th, same courtroom. Let me show you what they're doing right now. This is the Apple Pay prank. We've got this. This is what they do. Watch this. No, don't call the police. Sorry, can I just? Thank you. What? Nothing. No, nothing, nothing. Yeah, what?
They walk up to people and they take out their phone and they play the sound effect like Apple Pay. This kind of stuff shouldn't be allowed.
Look, man, when I was a kid, we had pranks, but all the pranks were always against people who had already agreed to it or they had an accomplice in it. So like if you watch Punk'd, the way that usually worked is they were going to play a prank, large scale production prank. Like say it was Bruce Willis, because I think they did a punk on him. They got one of his family members and they said, do you want to do a prank on, you know, Bruce Willis, right?
And then the prank is going to be something like the server says your card was declined. And then, you know, they start saying like, hey, man, I know you're not good for it and like getting offensive. And then at the last minute, they say, wait, wait, wait, you're being ponged. It's a prank. We had CKY videos. How did those pranks work? It was a group of friends that pranked each other. Largely, for the most part, they weren't going around running up to random people and doing this. Even when they were pranking people,
Like there's one scene where the dude is just singing out of his hotel window and people are confused and like annoyed by him. They weren't going up to people and then causing problems in public, but they keep allowing this. Take a look at this one from five days ago. This is a guy so desperate for attention. Really bad rapper shuts down a freeway for his music video. Now,
To be fair, I don't know if this guy, I'm not going to play a song, by the way. It says from the block featuring Interstate 20. It looks like they legit got cars to block the highway so he could film a rap video. This guy should get a prison charge. Not to mention, look at that. Look at that Nazi salute. Oh, we got you. We got, I'm kidding, by the way. Look,
I really doubt you can get permits on a federal interstate. This is what these people are doing. They should all get locked up. Do you know what, man? I look at the story out of, yeah, same one. I look at the story out of, what do we have with this one? Look at this. Prank gone wrong leaves 12-year-old boy badly burned. This one may not have been a TikTok prank. I have no idea. But they poured scalding water on a 12-year-old kid. Look, man, in Asia,
They lock this guy up when he's getting arrested. He's intentionally making a face. They are desperate for attention. They are nihilistic, developmentally disabled individuals. And there's there's lesser and there's greater. Obviously, the tick tock prank of the Apple pay thing more innocuous. But there's already videos where these people they're escalating and trying to start fights. There's one. It's got like 20 million views on tick tock.
where a guy gets detained in a Walmart because he went to an employee and tapped her phone and played the sound and she grabs him. They call the police. Security shows up and they're like, what do you think you're doing? Like, hey, man, I just played it. I didn't do anything wrong. Absolutely insane that we have these social media platforms promoting all of this insane trash. Look at this one. Police, two million views. Tick tock, ban tick tock.
We can't control what they're doing, okay? It is making young people mentally insane. It is causing developmental disabilities. And I don't care. Look, you don't get to go around and break laws like this. Disorderly conduct, I know, again. But the problem is how widespread it's become. And what does that say for the future of this country? People are just going to be influencers. They'll make nothing.
The West is going to completely implode on itself. I'm calling the police, the passenger shouts. I did this video because it's funny. I'm says speaking to LBC. I knew it would amuse me and other people online. It's a harmless prank. I knew I was looking for an angry reaction with the video. I always look for people who think I'll get a big reaction out of. I also think the tube setting really works at limits where we can both go. But in fairness, the guy's reaction was reasonable.
I think the prank is way more effective right now because the cost of living is already so high. If you've already stressed about money, imagine I've just come up and made you think you've lost 100 pounds. Other incarnations of the prank have gone viral with some brave tiktakers even performing the prank on uniformed police officers. Can we play this one? Name and badge number. Why? Just curious. You can, but it's 22298. Good boy.
Good boy. You're clearly a Muppet, aren't you? Good boy. That wasn't even related. That was just someone harassing a cop. They say, but as ever with discussions of online pranks, the debate lies in where we draw the line between entertainment and harm.
In the Apple Pay prank, no physical or financial harm is actually dealt, but it does cause visible stress. What are you supposed to do? The point of the prank is to put you in a position where you can't immediately rectify whether or not you were just scammed or robbed so that they can distress you and then make money off of you.
Online, they say traditional media is bound by regulations like Ofcom. This is British, of course, who keep pranksters in line with strict broadcasting laws. But platforms like TikTok have no such bodies, just codes of conduct that rely on user reports without bodies like Ofcom to keep harm to a minimum. Some online pranksters have fallen, fallen foul of the line between entertainment and harm.
Online prankster Mizzy hit headlines in 2023 at 18 years old after he was taken into court over some of his videos. The TikTokter was sentenced to 18 weeks in jail after he violated a court order which forbade him from sharing footage of people without their consent. In the U.S., people are allowed to film. And therein lies the problem culturally. We have a sick, deranged culture, no moral foundations, and it's happening in Europe too, happening in the United States, and it's going to get worse. It's going to get worse. I don't have good answers for you, man. I don't have good answers.
I'm a wrap it up there. We got more segments coming up for you. Stay tuned. Smash the like button. Share the show with everyone. You know, you can follow me on X and Instagram at Timcast and we'll see y'all in the next bit. Since the beginning of the Trump era, Democrats seem to have been completely in favor of any and all refugees. Donald Trump, of course, was concerned about illegal immigration. And so he wanted deportations. Despite the fact that Barack Obama was called the deporter in chief, Trump became the bad guy.
Now, we all knew and I say we as in those who have paid attention to what is going on. The corporate press has been lying about basically everything, especially this empathy narrative of these poor refugees. Letting in tens of millions of individuals from third world countries unvetted was just the right thing to do.
Until Donald Trump said about 50 or 60 white people from South Africa will be welcome in this country as well. Let me repeat that about 50 or 60. I think the number is 59 white South Africans come to this country as refugees fleeing persecution, threat of death. And the left is apoplectic. They have found the one refugee group that must be turned away immediately.
white people. My friends, I find South Africa to be very, very interesting. Did you know that there is very serious crime in South Africa? And some of this is so abhorrent. I'm going to wait to discuss how awful and evil some of these crimes are. Crime spiked in the late 90s, and it seems to have only gotten worse. There's a period where it went down a little bit, but it seems to have gotten worse. And it's sad, but this is a fact. During apartheid,
South Africa was a leading industrialized nation. Since then, they have become, I don't even, some of these things are hard to discuss. They have become the center most location for what is called infant rape, among other very serious crimes. The question is why? There's a lot of reasons. We can break those reasons down. There's a lot of blame to go around and there's debates of the history of this nation.
But what I can say and what I can speak for is this country in the United States, this country, the United States, that let me just say this, my friends, I can't speak for every conservative right wing individual who's out there. I certainly can't speak for any of the left liberals because they just lie and they're desperate to be in their cult. But as a disaffected liberal myself, I am in favor of bringing in asylum seekers and refugees. Indeed, I am. And, you know, honestly, I don't really care where they come from.
We can see that Nigerian migrants tend to flourish in this country. My issue is with with is with unvetted, unfettered, third world illegal immigration, masked as refugees, masked as asylum seekers. That's what the Democrats were bringing into this country.
And I'll say it now. And I said it before. If you apply legally through your consulate to come to these United States as a refugee or asylum seeker and it is granted and approved. OK, I'm for that. Not these people flying from Africa to Brazil, traveling through all of these safe nations to come to the United States and then claim asylum at the very last minute. As for these South African individuals.
They applied. It was granted. And they've come to the United States. It's that simple. But to be fair, the Trump administration was trying to pause refugee resettlement and said that these individuals will be able to assimilate much more easily. So there is a question about race and ethnicity and culture and things like this. But I'm going to say it again. Democrats may try to take the moral high ground on this one, but they have nothing, nothing. Their entire worldview is
As it comes to the morality of refugees and asylum seekers is race based. And I've got the clips to show it. The statements and the news story that the Episcopal Church is shutting down a 50 million dollar a year deal because of a couple dozen white people. I kid you not.
Today, we'll be joined by a man from South Africa who's he's actually been appearing quite a bit around. He's going to break down for us. His name is Ernst Roots. He's going to talk to us about what's been going on in South Africa and this persecution, prosecution, discrimination. And we even have people here at Timcast who are from South Africa. When I was younger, I met some people from South Africa. I watched a movie called Stander about a man came out in 2003. It's by it's about a man named Andre Stander, a bank robber. He's like the Dillinger of South Africa. And you should really watch that movie because it's amazing. And the story of the Stander gang, it really is something not that he was a good dude or anything.
But it got me interested in apartheid and what had happened to this nation. How did South Africa go from a leading industrialized nation to the baby rape capital of the world? It's an interesting question. And the bigger question for us right now in the United States is, will we accept white South Africaners to come as refugees to this nation? Are they facing persecution? Let's start here with the liberal view.
Episcopal Church refuses to resettle white Afrikaners ends partnership with the U.S. government. Now, this story has been massively viral. And for that reason, I'm not going to go into the greatest of details, but give you the gist of things, because many of you probably already know. But for those that don't, in a striking move that ends a nearly four decade old relationship between the federal government and the Episcopal Church.
The denomination announced on Monday that it is terminating its partnership with the government to resettle refugees, citing moral opposition to resettling white Afrikaners from South Africa who have been classified as refugees by President Donald Trump's administration.
In a letter sent to members of the church, the Most Rev. Sean W. Rowe, the presiding bishop of the Episcopal Church, said that two weeks ago the government informed Episcopal Migration Ministries that under the terms of our federal grant, we are expected to resettle white Afrikaners from South Africa whom the U.S. government has classified as refugees. The request, Rowe said, crossed a moral line. What moral line? You got some refugees.
You take their word for it, right? Let me ask you a question. If someone came from Guatemala and said I'm a refugee, do you stop there and say, whoa, wait a minute, you're not being persecuted in Guatemala, you're a liar. Or do you say, okay, come here, tell me your story. Right. The only play here that is very obvious to everybody is that these individuals are white. Now the question is, are they facing persecution, prosecution, and discrimination? I think the answer is plainly no.
Yes, there have been numerous reports about farmers being murdered. But you know what? You know what? I need not bring up that story. I need only show you this video on YouTube. Let me play a little bit of this for you. This South African song has been igniting quite the firestorm online.
Once deemed a struggle chant, modern adaptations of it have kindled cries of white genocide. So why is this song so controversial? Now, you notice the woman speaking didn't tell you what the name of the song was, but they do show it right here. Shoot the Bower.
Well, it's mostly to do with his lyrics. The poor, the farmer.
that chant about killing the Boers, descendants of Dutch settlers in South Africa. Dubu Libunu, which translates to "Shoot the Boer", was born in the throes of apartheid-era South Africa in the early 90s. Apartheid, which is the Afrikaans' word for separateness, was pretty popular among white voters who sought to preserve their dominance over South Africa's black majority.
The chant had roots across the political spectrum and was brought back into the public sphere by politician Peter Mokaba after the African National Congress Youth League was reconstituted in 1991 when it grew into a rallying call against apartheid. The lyrics, let me make sure you can see that. Cowards are, only cowards are frightened. Shoot, shoot, shoot with the gun. Shoot the farmer, bower, shoot with the gun. Those are the lyrics. They chant those even now.
So if you are a descendant of the farmer and the bower and you see stadiums full of people singing songs about how they want to murder you, perhaps I think it's fair to say you are facing serious persecution and a risk to your life. Call against apartheid.
Dubul Ibunu is one of a number of struggle songs, that is, political anthems that were a key part of the fight to end white rule over non-whites in South Africa. As ANC lawmaker Gwede Mantashe put it in 2010: "We're not talking about whites. We're talking about the system of apartheid."
It's a literal interpretation of the song, but sure.
Apartheid ended in 1994, but the tradition of singing anti-apartheid songs didn't exactly fizzle out. Driving the resurgence of Dubulibono in the early 2010s were some familiar faces: then President of South Africa and the African National Congress Jacob Zuma and Julius Malema, the leader of the far-left Economic Freedom Fighters. Both leaders faced repercussions in court for those actions by right-wing and rights groups over hate speech.
In 2022 though, a court ruled that singing the song is tantamount to free speech and that banning it would curtail freedom of expression. So why has Dbulibbunu been experiencing a resurgence? Well, apartheid may be over but inequality is far from its finish line. As one South African told TRT World: "I honestly think that we are far from being economically free as black South Africans. The majority of the land and the wealth are still in white hands."
Indeed, whites own more than 70% of farms held by individual owners, according to a 2017 government audit. That's even though the white population only makes up 7.7% of the population. Such inequality has served to galvanize support for the EFF, which, according to Malema, is the fastest-growing party in South Africa, garnering support from much of the country's Black youth. Malema has been using Dibulibono to market one of the EFF's core policies, that is, land expropriation.
This article puts South Africa's land issue in perspective. With a population growing rapidly and migration still ongoing, the land issue has exploded. There are millions upon millions of people with nowhere to go in a country where everywhere you look there are vast tracts of wide-open, white-owned land occupied by nothing but sheep and wandering guinea fowl.
Deborah James, an anthropologist, says this on land and restitution in South Africa. Land is not only understood literally but has become a fulcrum for social and moral disputes.
The controversial nature of the song hasn't won it many fans, particularly among the white community. It's actually helped fuel a conspiracy theory that claims a white genocide is in progress, wherein Afrikaner farmers are murdered by the black public. But this claim is patently untrue. In fact, it has been called a myth. The proliferation of this claim is partly owing to this man, Simon Roche, the face of the Swedelanders, a Christian survivalist group.
Roche has disseminated claims that the issue of land expropriation is linked to the alleged targeted killings of white farmers. But there is no evidence to back up this allegation.
While farm murders do happen, they aren't usually linked to land reclamation, most of which occurs peacefully, according to Pogue. And critics say South Africa's generally high crime rate should not be conflated with land occupation. So what do you think? Is singing Duba Libu no counterproductive to solving South Africa's long-standing land issues? Or is it a necessary evil?
You know, I just want to say I don't think it should be controversial to tell people don't sing a song about killing one particular group of people. And that should be enough. Right. But I do love this assessment when they say that, yes, white farmers are being killed, but it's not related to land expropriation. Therefore, the idea that white farmers are being killed is wrong, despite the fact that they are being killed. Huh? OK, so here's here's how the general idea works.
We know for a fact that white farmers, the Boers, are being murdered in South Africa. It's terrifying. It is happening. Many of the crimes being committed that we see are like robberies. There will be I mean, it's a it's an 80 some odd percent black nation. And then the way they phrase things in South Africa is black means you are purely black. Colored means you are of mixed race descent. So it's around like 90 some odd percent non-white. We'll put it that way.
Typically, what you then see is the people who are killing the white farmers are black. They torture them. They steal things. They kill them or maim them and leave them to die. Now, while I think it's fair to say not all of them are related to land expropriation, that's kind of obvious. You're not going to have a ragtag group of bandits going to a farm and being like, after we murder those people, we'll own the land. This is not the 1700s anymore.
No, but the disdain they have for white people and the callousness they display is largely attached to the national sphere of influence. When they chant kill the bower, there are criminals who are like, no one is going to come after us and be angry if we do this. They're literally calling for it. It's an opportunity.
So when a powerful political faction in a stadium is chanting to kill white people and then people go out and actually do it, it doesn't have to be because they were trying to steal the land. However, there's also a myth in the claim of the myth. Some of these individuals that are killing the white farmers may be doing it not to take the land for themselves, but because they know once they kill the landowners, the government just takes the land.
Therefore, when it comes to the filing, they say this wasn't related to land expropriation. Just a murder. Just a routine murder. Ah, well, now the landowners are gone. I guess the government will take the land? All right. What a horrifying reality. The New York Times has this story, and I got some clips for you. White South Africans granted refugee status by Trump. What we know. Now, there are a few things that I do want to bring up. Trump did seek to suspend refugee status.
The refugee admissions program, it was blocked by a judge. I think we have the story here. Seattle judge temporarily blocks Trump's refugee executive order. Many on the left are saying this proves the hypocrisy. Trump said no more refugees, but then lets white refugees in. I mean, that can be countered very easily with around the same time Trump said a pause on refugee resettlement. He also said, but we'll issue an executive order specifically as early February for white South Africaners. And the number is, I believe, 59 people.
Not the 12,000 that Trump was saying no to entering this country. So it's not so much that it is pure hypocrisy. Maybe you can argue a little bit. But the argument of the Trump administration is white South Africaners can easily assimilate into this country. And so they're going to accept it. Me, I say it's negligible. Fifty nine people shouldn't even be a blip on the radar. But the left has made it such an issue kind of proves the point.
It proves they never actually cared about refugees. They just hate white people. But don't take my word for it. Let's watch CNN and see what they have to say. And part of that is that the people who are native to that land deserve their rightful land back. That is not what the Afrikaners actually want to have happen, which are the white Africans. And so who are
not originally from Africa who colonize South Africa also. And so that is what they are saying is discrimination. Now, if the constitution in South Africa is discriminatory, they have their checks and balances in that land, just like we do. And that is for them to, so if the Afrikaners don't actually like the land, they can leave that country. They are, they're leaving to come. No,
They can actually leave and go to where their native land is, which is probably Germany. Are you against them coming here? Holland. Holland. Holland and Germany. Ma'am, there is a logical danger in what you have proposed that I fear many white nationalists and identitarians are absolutely going to jump on and agree with you on.
You see, this is a former National Coalition's director for Biden-Harris in 2020, who is black, saying that if you don't like the country, go back to your ancestral homeland. You know what? You know what they're going to say to you, right? They're going to say, I completely agree, ma'am. Can I pay for your flight back to Africa? Now, she can make every excuse she wants, but this is the problem.
This individual would call you a racist if you were to suggest we pay for her return to her native homeland. While meanwhile saying Boers, white people in South Africa, many of whom who can't afford their farmers, they can't afford to go migrate to Germany, should be denied the right to seek refugee status in another country. I think they should be able to get refugee status in Germany or Holland for sure. But my only point here is, ma'am, you don't want to go down that path.
Scott Jennings has a statement on this. I mean, I do think it's not alleged discrimination that these people are facing in South Africa. I mean, the law there absolutely allows their property to be confiscated. They are subject to racial discrimination. Some have been subject to violence from some reports that I have read.
I mean, we're talking about 50-something people, and the people who seem to be angriest about this today had no problem with 20 million coming here, some of the worst people in the world coming here, including gang members and so on and so forth. So I don't have a lot of sympathy for the folks who are outraged today after what happened to this country over the last several years, over 50-something people who are clearly being discriminated against in South Africa.
Well, the previous administration had priorities about who to let in, including, you know, all kinds of folks. So I would argue shouldn't be here. This administration, I guess, is going to set priorities about who and who not to let in. Let's just be honest about what those priorities are. Right. And by the way, I'm a Democrat here. I did not defend the Biden administration on immigration. But you voted for him. So what? That doesn't mean that I voted for a continuation of it in 2024. Did you not?
I did not vote for his policies on immigration. But you voted to extend the immigration policies of the last administration. No, no, no. I did not vote for that. The point is you're in a party that opened the borders and I'm in a party that closed the borders. I think the American people prefer our way. Indeed. I think I have another clip. We have a statement from Matt Walsh.
He says the great replacement is real. If you had any doubt, this story about the South African refugees should clear it up for you. The left wants unchecked third world migration because they want to make America less white. That's it. It's that simple. That's why they oppose the white refugees, because white refugees defeat the whole purpose of the program. Interestingly, it's only 59 people. Now, I went to my good friend Chet GPT over here for some context I'd like to read for you.
Is there serious crime in South Africa? I asked. Yes. South Africa is serious as a serious crime problem. It consistently ranks among the countries, the highest rates of violent crime in the world. Key issues include high murder rate. Over 27,000 murders were reported in 2023, averaging about 75 per day. Widespread robbery and assault, rape and sexual violence. One of the highest rates of reported rape globally. Police corruption and under-resourcing.
Despite strong laws, enforcement is inconsistent and many crimes go unpunished. Some areas are significantly more dangerous than others. OK, simple question. When did this crime begin? You know, was it always this way? They mentioned serious crime in South Africa has deep historical roots with significant increased observed increases observed in the late apartheid era. Nineteen forty to ninety four crime.
However, they say, well, some data suggests lower crime rates during this period. It's important to note that many crimes, especially those affecting non-white populations, were not adequately recorded or addressed. In other words, they say crime stats were skewed due to systemic underreporting in black communities. OK, what they're telling us is that during apartheid in the black communities, there was significant crime that was not being stopped and was not being reported officially. So it seemed like crime wasn't all that bad.
But it was bad in the black community. Post-apartheid crime trends. Following the end of apartheid in 94, South Africa experienced a surge in crime rates. The murder rate, for instance, peaked in the late 1990s, but saw a decline in the early 2000s. However, recent years have witnessed a resurgence in violent crimes. In 2022, the country reported a murder rate of 45.53 per 100,000 people, ranking among the highest globally.
They mentioned several factors, socioeconomic inequality, unemployment, urbanization and housing and policing challenges. Now, I think these are often excuses, and I'll tell you exactly what caused the spike in crime. And it was the end of apartheid. Yeah, I know the left is going to scream and screech and say it's racist, but I actually don't think that race is the issue. I think culture and the social fabric are at play here. You cannot have a white person.
developed. I shouldn't you know, we don't even say white. You don't you can't take a developed, educated culture and then allow in 10 times the amount of the population who lack that same education and cultural development. This has nothing to do with being white or black or anything else. So there's there will be many people who completely disagree. The argument is largely that
You had a wealthy, educated, industrialized nation that kept out black people. These people didn't have access to the same degrees of education, cultural development, and thus crime was higher in the black community. When you end apartheid and all of those people then move into the other space, the crime that existed in their community transfers over to the white community.
Race is a surface level issue. It was used largely as the basis by which they segregated, but it is not the factor for the crime and the decay tangential to a greater degree. Now, personally, I think.
Obviously, race is a component of genetics. I believe that there's a mix between nature and nurture. Obviously, if you know, I tell the story, I go to Thailand. I can see over everybody's head. I'm taller than everybody. I go to Sweden. I'm shorter than everybody. These things play a role. If you're going to bring a bunch of like if you literally went to Thailand and grabbed a whole bunch of the worst criminals and brought them to Sweden.
The people there are much bigger, right? And so this is going to have a different dynamic. I'm not saying the Swedish people are going to physically beat anybody up or anything like that, but the dynamic will be very different. The point is, yes,
The background and races play a role, particularly in perception, and racism exists. Everybody's racist to a certain degree. Every country has a degree of racism and in-group preference. What you get then, when you have two groups that are visibly distinct, is going to be the end of apartheid, resulting in the crime from the black community, which Chetipati said was real.
coming into the white community and with in-group, out-group biases, it's going to be largely like what we're seeing now. White people are being targeted and they're being attacked on farms because they're not part of that community. They're being othered. I then asked it, Chet GPD, about the epidemic of infant rape, to which it said, this content may violate our usage policies. Yeah, it doesn't. I'm asking a legitimate question.
The facts are...
This is not prevalent among the white community. Again, I don't think the core component of that is that they are white. It's that they are educated and they have a higher degree of social development. This is why Nigerians who emigrate from Nigeria, who are black and come to the United States, also don't have these issues because they are wealthy and educated and they can afford to come to the United States. They tend to make six figures on average. So race isn't the issue. It's cultural development. However, in-group, out-group bias will be affected by this.
The terrifying reality is that since the end of apartheid in the late 90s and 2000s is when South Africa went from a leading industrialized nation to the baby rape capital of the world. However, I do think it's fair to point out what Chet GPT says. These crimes were already happening in the black communities in South Africa. Just wasn't on anybody's radar because they did not care. So this crime is now persisting and it's spreading.
It's interesting, my friends, to see what's going on. Now, we are going to be joined in just a moment by Ernst Roots, who is a, I guess you can call him a South African activist, and he's particularly prominent in the politics. I believe he sued Malema. I could be getting this wrong. There's a lot to talk about in terms of the history of South Africa. So I'm particularly excited to speak with this man. They say that, let me see, he had found, he had sued Malema for the song, Dubul Ibunu, Shoot the Bower,
And one, the court found him guilty of hate speech. So smash that like button. Share the show with everyone you know. Thanks for hanging out for this opening segment. We will wrap it up here. Follow me on Instagram at Timcast. And you can find the interview at YouTube.com slash Timcast or Rumble.com slash Tim Pool to different channels. Thanks for hanging out. Thanks for hanging out. And we'll see you all then.
Oh, they're just so angry that the White House was lying about everything. And oh, come on, Jake Tapper. You think any of us believe that you were actually angry about this? Take a look at this report from Axios. Biden aides discussed wheelchair use if he were reelected. New book says.
These people knew the whole time that Joe Biden was infirm and their own cult like idiocy is why Democrats lost. They could have said, no, we're not going to have Joe Biden. But the reality is Democrats don't have any major players.
Let's hear it from Jake Tapper and his faux outrage. Jake is here to join us now. I'm curious about what his advisors were saying at the time as you look at this, as you reported out this book.
So the White House physician, Dr. Kevin O'Connor, was telling White House aides that President Biden's deterioration of his spine, the degeneration, was so significant that if he fell one more time, that he might have to be in a wheelchair and serve in a wheelchair for his second term.
But everybody pushed off the notion that he used a wheelchair until after the election. This is all part of a larger hole where the Biden White House tried to hide the extent of his deterioration, both physical and cognitive.
So did you. So did you, Jake Tapper. In fact, as we all know, we all saw as his shuffling gait got worse and worse from 2003 to 2004, they started putting aides around him as he walked to Marine One, the helicopter that was to kind of
hide from public view how bad his gait was, how bad his walking was, his shuffling, and also in case he stumbled again to make sure somebody was there. And this is just of a piece of an overall campaign to try to conceal from the American people the extent to which the president was really struggling to do his job. It's just laughable coming from CNN, isn't it? As if Jake Tapper and his other people in the media did not know. And I'll give a shout out to Alex Thompson, who...
who he was speaking at the White House Correspondents Party or dinner or whatever, and he was like, we really dropped the ball on this swadden. He's not really British. He's an American guy. But, you know, I like doing that because it sounds snooty. Y'all knew. Y'all knew. I can't stand this man, um...
What I really can't stand is everybody lying all the time. That's what really grinds my gears, you know? And I think it's a childhood trauma that I experienced where when I was a kid, the schools were lying about things. You know what I mean? And then when I learned out, when I found out, when I learned out, when I found out that maybe I should have stayed, huh? When I found out they were lying, I was like, I am sick of these lawyers about everything. Just tell us the truth. And that's just me. You know, I understand.
Some people, some people is real dumb. You know what I mean? But still, I feel like for a decentralized system, the best thing that we can do is inform the public to the best of our abilities and then be persuasive. Be good at what we do. Instead, they lie, cheat, steal and obfuscate. And that really pisses me off. I remember.
Remember when I was a little kid and, you know, they tell you things in 14. I remember this one. This was a big 1492. Columbus sailed the ocean blue and discovered America. They told all of that in school. My problem was I had parents who were like, well, Lee Ferrickson was here before that, you know, in like Newfoundland, which is the American continent. And then I'm like, why did they say it was Christopher Columbus? I don't know. I don't know.
And so I go to school and I'm like, actually, there was a Nordic guy who was in the Americas first, but he was in the north. No teachers. Oh, man, I just don't want to hear it. OK, they're like kids are dumb. Don't tell the truth. I don't want to hear it. This is how these elites and Democrats view the world. They treat millennials like their children. Millennials are in their 40s. It's really funny because for a long time we have these articles pop up where it's like, what are millennials up to now? And this was like 10 years ago.
And and people were like, yo, millennials are 35. I remember like eight years ago, these articles popping up. Oh, millennials and their trends acting like their children. They were in their 30s. They should have been having kids and families, but they kept treating millennials who were adults like children. And they do the same thing to Gen Z. This perpetual infantilization is going to rip this country to shreds. Maybe that's the point. Maybe that's the point.
They want us to bring in a Joe Biden infirm president because they know it's better. You have an entire White House press corps, though, following him around. And I'm just curious as to whether or not this kind of trying to hide what was happening with the president at the time had an impact on the press corps. I despise these people. Why didn't we hear these details? Why didn't we hear it? Why didn't we hear it, Jake? Why didn't we hear it, CNN? They actually saw and were dealing with trying to get information.
Yeah. Well, Alex Thompson and I were on the case, as were lots of other reporters trying to figure out what was going on behind the scenes. But the bottom line is the White House was lying not only to the press, not only to the public, but they were lying to members of their own cabinet. How did we know? How did random dude who complains on the Internet for a living know about this, Jake? And you, Mr. Professional Journalist, had no idea. Wow. You know what?
You're right, Jake. You were befuddled, confused, tricked by the Biden administration. As a journalist, I say you should resign. It's time to retire because when you can't see things like this, maybe you just give up. See, the rest of us, we had actually pretty easy for some reason, a guy named Cat Turd. Yeah, he's just on Twitter and his username is Cat Turd. And he knew, but you did not. I'm
I agree with you, Jake Tapper. Kat Turd is a much better journalist than you are. They were lying to White House staffers. They were lying to Democratic members of Congress, to donors about how bad things had gotten. And in fact, Alex and I started writing this book.
after the election of 2024. And we spoke with more than 200 people, most of whom, almost all of whom were Democrats and almost all of whom wouldn't be honest with us or wouldn't be candid with us until after the election. And then after the election, we found out all of these things.
that when you looked at what was going on with President Biden at the time, it probably doesn't surprise you the extent to which he was deteriorating. But now we have anecdotes and facts about what was really going on behind the scenes with details that Democrats wouldn't share with us until after Election Day. What do you mean, Jake? What do you mean they wouldn't share the details with you until after Election Day? Were you asking these questions before Election Day?
Did you know before the election that Joe Biden was infirm and you just now found out? Can I play that back for you guys? And in fact, Alex and I started writing this book after the election of 2024.
You started writing the book after the election. Continue. And we spoke with more than 200 people, most of whom, almost all of whom were Democrats and almost all of whom wouldn't be honest with us or wouldn't be candid with us until after the election. Whoa. Hey, that don't make no sense there, Jake Tapper. You didn't start writing the book until after the election, but you talked to people before the election about the book that you were writing. Interesting.
I suppose the argument he'll make is no, no. We were only doing research before the election. We didn't start writing it until afterwards. OK, so.
When you are doing the research for the book, I largely consider that doing the writing because like you're collecting interviews and statements, right? You're making the book fine. Make that argument. And then after the election, we found out all of these things that when you looked at what was going on with President Biden at the time, it probably doesn't surprise you the extent to which he was deteriorating. But now we have anecdotes and facts about what was really going on behind the scenes with details that Democrats wouldn't share with us until after Election Day.
So the point is they knew before the election, they knew the whole time and they were lying to the American people. Joe Biden's brain wasn't working two, three years ago. He called Syria, Libya. He's talking about getting involved in Syria. He called it Libya. And I'm like, bro, if you're the president and you're in a meeting and you say we need military action in Libya and they go, are you sure? So, yeah, Libya, you go, OK, we'll draft up some plans. How are they supposed to know that you actually meant Syria?
Now, here's the scary thing. Let's say let's say he said Libya and a chain of command then goes, we think he meant Syria. He was saying Libya. So they decide to operate how they see fit targeting Syria. What happens then when a president actually does mean Libya? You cannot have a mentally infirm. I just try to be nice president like this. Democrats now are trying to claim the same thing as Trump. That Trump's old guy. He's an old guy, but he's spry. OK, that's it.
Trump isn't sleepy like Joe, but he is old. And this is going to be his last term. He's got a couple more years. And I fully expect I do believe this. Trump will probably be deteriorating in office. Listen, I'm 39. I can already feel it in my bones, man. I don't skate like I did when I was 19. My bones is achy. Donald Trump is what, 78? In these next three years, decline is much more pronounced.
That being said, Trump right now, Trump four years ago, he was capable of doing this job and he still is. And he may be by the time he gets out the oldest president we've ever had. Indeed, if Trump starts to tear into the point where he can't walk and needs a wheelchair, then we will have that conversation. I don't think it's going to happen. It might, though. And it's fair to point out. I ain't going to lie about it if it does.
Donald Trump was walking down a ramp that was wet and he walked slow and they said that he was infirm. And I'm like, guys, it's a wet ramp. I'm not going to rag on Joe Biden for the same thing. Joe Biden fell going up the stairs several times. OK, he's clearly losing his coordination and his strength. So listen, my point here, they're liars. They're lying. We know they're lying. They know we know they're lying. How stupid.
I'll wrap it up there, my friends. Stay tuned. We got more segments. No, we have no more segments. We'll be back at 8 p.m. for youtube.com slash timcast IRL. Thanks for hanging out. We'll see you all then tonight.
