The notorious Alcatraz prison closed some 60 years and now Donald Trump says it is time to reopen this infamous prison. Why? It's symbolic. Everybody knows the name Alcatraz. It's why it's currently a tourist attraction and national park. But it has been closed for 60 years. It was originally a military installation and then it became a prison, which they said was notoriously difficult to escape from. But
It's also extremely expensive to operate. And they said, we don't really care that much. Let's just send the worst offenders to like Atlanta or something. Now, I think the reason Donald Trump wants to reopen Alcatraz is that it is a symbol and he wants to strike fear into the hearts of the worst criminals. Donald Trump is facing a big challenge on his Alien Enemies Act deportation plans and his use of CICOT in El Salvador and
He needs, he wants something that will terrify criminals coming to this country. So he's basically saying, you know the worst of the worst? The most terrifying prison we've ever had? We're going to send you there. Now to be fair, I don't know that it's the worst of the worst or the most terrifying. The point is, you have heard of it. And that's the general idea.
The story from CNN. Trump wants to reopen one of America's most notorious prisons. Here's how Alcatraz earned its reputation. Now, of course, we have this post from Truth Social where Donald Trump basically lays it down what the point of this is, saying...
Rebuild and reopen Alcatraz. I'm sorry, just rebuild and open Alcatraz. For too long, America has been plagued by vicious, violent and repeat criminal offenders, the dregs of society who will never contribute anything other than misery and suffering. When we were a more serious nation in times past, we did not hesitate to lock up the most dangerous criminals and keep them far away from anyone they could harm.
That's the way it's supposed to be. No longer will we tolerate these serial offenders who spread filth, bloodshed and mayhem on our streets. That is why today I am directing the Bureau of Prisons, together with the Department of Justice, FBI and Homeland Security, to reopen a substantially and a substantially enlarged and rebuilt Alcatraz to house America's most ruthless and violent offenders.
We will no longer be held hostage to criminals, thugs and judges that are afraid to do their job and allow us to remove criminals who came into our country illegally. The reopening of Alcatraz will serve as a symbol of law, order and justice. We will make America great again. Now, he was asked about this. How did he get the idea? We've got this clip here from the Hill.
But of course, my friends, before we get into all that, make sure you head over to cast brew dot com. Support the show. When you buy cast brew coffee, you make all of this possible. Appalachian Nights, everybody's favorite. And Ian's Graphene Dream, low acidity blend. If coffee hurts your stomach, that's the one for you. But let's go back to the story because I want to waste your time prattling on about sponsor spots. Let's read this. President Trump said that he is ordering the reopening of the Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary.
the historic prison offshore from San Francisco that closed more than 60 years ago. Where did you get the idea for reopening Alcatraz? Just an idea I've had. And I guess because the judges, so many of these radicalized judges, they want to have trials for every single think of it. Every single person that's in our country illegally, they came in illegally. That would mean millions of trials. And it's just so ridiculous what's happening.
And it's long been a symbol, Alcatraz, of whatever it is. I mean, it's a sad symbol, but it's a symbol of law and order. And, you know, it's got quite a history, frankly. So I think we're going to do that. And we're looking at it right now. I think my friends, Trump's an old man. You know, I like Trump. I've said it before. I'll say it again. He his worldview morally is.
largely resembles mine and probably many of yours, though I don't think he is perfect. It's funny because we just filmed the pilot for The Culture War Live on Saturday, and we will be airing it on Friday because now we have a bunch of different camera angles, and now it's going to get edited together, and we're going to work on it. But there's a lot of young people
They don't understand where we've been over the last 10, 20, 30 years. Many young people are just now getting involved in politics today and they don't know. Now, here's why I say Trump is an old man, for one, obviously. But the thing about Alcatraz is that doesn't mean very much to me other than what was that movie The Rock? Was that was that the film? Was that Alcatraz or was that not Alcatraz? I don't know.
A 1996 film, The Rock. I could be totally wrong about this, but I thought it was about Alcatraz. Isn't that what they called it? They called it The Rock. Yep, yep. Rescue hostages from a rogue group of force recon marines on Alcatraz Island. Okay, yeah, but Alcatraz has been closed for a long time.
And so I'm not sure that it really does strike fear into the hearts of criminals the way it does or the way Trump remembers it. Trump being 78 years old, you know, when do they close it? So we got Alcatraz Island. It closed in 1963. So Trump was a teenager.
And that means that even after they closed it, you still heard stories about how terrifying Alcatraz Island and for those who don't know, it's in the Bay in San Francisco. He probably heard these stories growing up.
About how terrifying it really is. And so now he's an old man and he's thinking, let's bring back Alcatraz. Let's we got it. We got to use a name that is branding. It's branding, branding. OK, it is more expensive. But Trump wants this as a symbol. He wants to. This is why we have Seacott. I'll tell you this right now.
The reason why Donald Trump wants to send people to El Salvador is two reasons. The first and the obvious one is Venezuela is refusing to repatriate. They've taken some people back, I believe. But in many instances, they're saying outright, we will not take back these trend de Aragua, these criminals. Trump wants them all to hear this. If you come to this country illegally, we send you to the worst of the worst prisons in El Salvador. However,
There are a lot of Americans that have a problem with this. Not that I trust them, to be completely honest, because they're mostly liberals. But the courts have also said, yeah, we can't do this. Trump is saying they want to have a trial for every single one of these people. Well, get this. If you want to put someone in a disgusting, awful prison, you don't need to convict them in this country. And that's actually wrong, in my opinion, largely. But hey, that's the system. That is, if Trump has a Trend de Aragua member
or an MS-13 gang member, and he tries to deport them to El Salvador. As he said, these judges want to have trials for every single person. Trump's got a solution. Open up Alcatraz. And this we could have we could have our own CICOT. Open up Alcatraz. Because when we arrest these people, these TDA MS-13, fine. Give them a trial. Spend the money. But you're going to be waiting in Alcatraz.
They are going to make sure that, you know, you break the law here before you even go to court on this. You will be on the rock and there's no escape. Good luck. That's the general idea. Now, in my opinion, I don't I don't see anything wrong with what Trump is doing as it pertains to to El Salvador.
First, where I will criticize him. He said he wants American citizens to go there. I say no. I say no. We have Guantanamo Bay. And for this, we will have Alcatraz. OK, maybe that's why he's doing it. I don't want American citizens. And the Trump base really split on this. If you're in America, you stay in American jurisdiction. Now, the interesting thing is this. And this Friday's culture war is going to be really, really great. We got good questions. Someone said if we lease land from Cuba, Guantanamo Bay.
And it's under our jurisdiction. How is that any different from Seacott? That's a fair point. Meaning all we'd have to do is have U.S. troops securing a wing of the Seacott prison in El Salvador. And what's the difference between that and Guantanamo Bay? Now, there are due process issues with Guantanamo Bay for sure. People were captured overseas in the Middle East, accused of being terrorists and then brought to Guantanamo Bay or whatever. Due process issues are due process issues.
In this capacity, Trump is looking for a symbol, a symbol that I think he's largely going to get, to be honest. CNN says the prison closed 60 years ago. It's a historical landmark. As a maximum security prison surrounded by the Pacific's strong cold currents, Alcatraz had a reputation for being a last resort facility where the most dangerous and most unruly in other prisons were sent. It was virtually impossible to escape despite numerous storied attempts. Apparently, the reason they closed it, three people did escape.
People were starting to figure out how to get off the island. Maximum security, minimum privilege. They say the army built a fort there in the 1850s and equipped it with artillery needed to protect the bay from foreign invasion amid growing U.S. interest in the Pacific. In 1933, the U.S. military turned it over to the DOJ and that became its location known as the Rock.
The federal government decided to open a maximum security minimum privilege penitentiary to deal with the most incorrigible inmates. You want to know who we put in this place? Check this out. You had a where's that? Where's that list of names? There's a list of names. It was like Machine Gun Kelly was stored there. Do we have that in there? There we go. During the 29 years it was in use, the prison held some of the most notorious criminals in American history. Al Capone.
The Birdman of Alcatraz, Robert Stroud, George Machine Gun Kelly, Bumpy Johnson and political terrorists such as Rafael Cancel Miranda, a member of the Puerto Rican Nationalist Party who attacked the U.S. Capitol building in 1954. Others include Mickey Cohen, Arthur R. Doc Barker, Alvin Creepy Karpis, who served more time at Alcatraz than any other inmate.
It also provided housing for the Bureau of Prison Staff and their families. Contrary to popular belief, it was possible to escape and swim all the way to shore. During its 29 years of operation, the penitentiary claimed that no prisoner escaped. A total of 36 prisoners made 14 attempts. Two men trying with two men trying twice. Wait, what? 23 were caught alive. I get it.
Twenty three were caught alive. Six were shot and killed during their escape. Two drowned and five are listed as missing and presumed drowned. The most violent incident occurred on May 2nd, 1946, when a failed escape attempt by six prisoners led to the Battle of Alcatraz. Perhaps the most famous is the intricate escape carried out in 1962 by Frank Morris, John Anglin and Clarence Anglin.
The three men are believed to have drowned in their attempt. However, no bodies were ever found. Sparking speculation, they made it to shore and escaped. Although most escapees were caught or drowned, John Paul Scott made it to shore in 1962. However, he was so weary that police found him unconscious and in hypothermic shock. The annual escape from Alcatraz Triathlon includes a required 1.5-mile swim from the island to the bay shore.
All right. So they've basically been training people to escape. You can see here we got it right in the old bay. Look at this right by Fort Mason, the Golden Gate Bridge. So we'll see. Here's a cool picture of it, mind you. And Donald Trump also posted this beautiful photo. But I'm going to say this. I don't I don't see Trump getting this open in any any meaningful amount of time. It's a historic landmark. It's 62 years out of date.
Ancient technology. By all means, people can be locked in it, but they've probably not maintained any of the actual lockdown facility required. Like, look, I'm sure the doors still lock and all that, but they're going to update the locks. They're going to have to update the electronics, the surveillance systems. To be fair, a lot of this stuff probably has been updated because it's a national park, but it's got to get it's got to get updated to be a prison.
And the reality is there are better prisons than this with modern technology that will be cheaper. That being said, Donald Trump is giving you a lesson in marketing. Alcatraz is getting reopened, not because Trump Trump needs Seacott, because he needs a boogeyman. He wants you to fear getting sent to an archaic, to an ancient prison that hasn't been updated, that does not have amenities. And perhaps that's the point.
I'm going to wrap it up there, my friends. I will say one thing. Doing five hours of recording every day and then working on a Saturday is, you can tell, man, for the past month or so, I've been struggling to keep my voice down.
So I'm going to have to keep things light for the next couple of days. Keep the segments a little bit shorter. Otherwise, I got to take time off and I don't want to do that. But if I have to, it's going to happen. I'll wrap it up there. Smash the like button. Share the show with everyone you know. You can follow me on X and Instagram at Timcast. Thanks for hanging out. We'll see you all in the next segment. I'm sure by now many of you have seen the story. A woman in a playground being filmed. A man accuses her of calling a small child a racial slur.
She initially says, essentially, get away. No, I didn't. And then says, you know what? Yeah, I did. And then yells at the man filming her a racial slur. Since the video has gone viral, this woman has raised now on Give, Send, Go $658,219. And it's given rise to the idea that white guilt is over.
Now, we have the story from the corporate press and we have the actual give send go here. And I want to read this for you, but I do want to stress, I think so. I think there is an adequate explanation, which many people are sharing. Not that I'll say this personally, I would not recommend and I would have general disdain. I have general disdain for people who are going to start screaming at children, racial slurs. You don't need to do that.
The woman says that the child was rifling through her bag, stealing her belongings. And so she called him, quote, what he was. That's what she says in her give, send, go. No, you know, we don't we don't need to be crass and crude, especially to children. But.
My opinion on that is an aside. The issue at play right now is that for the past 10, 20, 30 years, white people in the United States have been insulted and derided with the expectation they must accept it. And I think that's a fair assessment. If you take a look at comedy routines, they will use racial slurs for white people. And it has typically been a critical race theory idea that
That because you are punching up at oppressors, it was OK to racially disparage people. Now, me personally, I've never thought that was acceptable. I can certainly understand why people don't get as mad about it.
But I don't think it's acceptable to deride anyone based on their race, be it a black person calling a white person a slur or a white person calling a black person a slur. However, because of the institutions largely being controlled by the left, 10 years ago, this video would have destroyed this woman's life. In fact, we had, I think, what, five years ago? There was a woman in Central Park. She's a white woman with her dog. And a black man started to entice her dog with some kind of food. So she started yelling at him. He filmed her.
She didn't call him a slur. That woman still got fired and had it fired and had her life ruined. In this instance now, nearly 700000 with a target of one million dollars for this woman, Shiloh Hendricks. You know, many people are saying this is a response to the Carmelo Anthony give send go. Let me pull that one up for you and I'll break this one down.
Carmelo Anthony, for those that are not familiar, I assume most of you are, though the story is not getting as much attention as of today. We're still working on developments. He's a kid who was at a high school track meet after getting into an altercation, stabbed another student in the chest, killing him, striking his heart with a knife.
Carmelo Anthony has raised $522,989. And when you take a look at the comments, many people, not all, when you do look at them, are making comments about racial solidarity. We're not seeing that as much right now. You're not seeing a lot of comments. I don't know if they have comments disabled or there were a lot of comments for a while.
And a lot of comments on social media where they were saying that, you know, black people need to stick together. I'm not saying all of them. I'm not saying the majority. I'm saying you could see these comments. Many people are saying the reason why this woman, Shiloh Hendricks, has raised so much money is because it is a counter to that idea. People were furious that Carmelo Anthony was able to raise half a million dollars after killing, killing a kid at a high school track meet, stabbing him, admitting he did it.
Being charged with first degree murder. Now, Gibson, of course, has received a lot of flack over this. Their attitude is everybody gets to raise money. And now you have this. The counter move. The Washington Post has the story for us. Let's see how they frame it. Mom raises five hundred thousand dollars after appearing to her hurl racist slur and a child in viral video. I'm going to pause right now. No, the video doesn't show her doing that at all. She hurls a racist slur at a man filming her.
Now, since then, they've been posting fake images of this woman claiming she dates black men and is a meth head. I have no evidence that any of that is true. And that is not the same person. Also, so what? I mean, this is weird to me. The attack on this woman because she was a slur is to try and claim that she dated a black man.
Are they being racist towards themselves? I don't quite understand. They're trying to say, ha ha, you white supremacist. She is, she likes black guys. And it's like, whatever. Now, look, I'm not going to donate to her.
But I'm also not going to defend the left as they have perpetuated this culture of punching up, they call it, of critical race theory, where they've told people over and over again that if you're white, they can use racial slurs all day and night and only white people can be racist. OK, that's the game you wanted to play. This has long been predicted. There are memes about this.
where you see schools, teachers berating the white, the young white boys and the young white boys band together because they're being attacked by the authority in their classroom. And they're like, oh, no, why are people forming white identitarian groups? Because you told them to. Washington Post says a video of a Rochester, Minnesota mom appearing to hurl a racist slur at a black child on a city playground earlier this week has been circulating widely across social media, garnering criticism from many viewers and a half million dollars in donations from others.
Excuse me. The online donations poured in alongside notes expressing far right and racist sympathies, prompting a decision to mute comments by the Christian crowdfunding service hosting the campaign, which has been used to make money for. So I think that's why we're not seeing the Carmelo Anthony stuff either. To be fair, they allowed that.
The woman's fundraiser prompted the local NAACP chapter in Rochester to start its own crowdfunding campaign for the family of the five-year-old. They say they've raised more than $320,000 by Saturday afternoon. People just be giving money away. What is going on? Shockingly, the woman responsible for this hateful act has launched a fundraising campaign for herself. Many of the comments from her supporters celebrate and justify her hate. We've been asked by countless community members how they can help. This campaign is our answer.
A fundraiser on Give, Send, Go! titled Help Me Protect My Family was started by Shiloh Hendricks. This we've already gone over. Quote, I called the kid out for what he was, her fundraiser reads, adding that a man then began filming her and later posted the video of the encounter online, which has caused my family and myself great turmoil.
Jacob Wells, the founder and chief executive of Give, Send, Go, told The Washington Post in a statement that his team was aware of the concerns surrounding Hendricks' fundraiser and restricted comments due to the volume of inappropriate remarks that violated our policies. We understand the sensitivity of the situation and the strong emotions it has evoked. Give, Send, Go does not endorse or condone the personal views or actions of individual campaign organizers or their supporters, nor do we control the motivations of donors.
NBC News identified the man who filmed the encounter as Sharmak Omar, 30, did not respond to multiple requests for comment. The woman who appeared to carry her own child responded that it wasn't any of Omar's business, then stuck her tongue out at him and flipped in the middle finger. Why don't you have the balls to say it again? Omar asked. In the video, the woman alleged the child was digging through her own child's belongings. Omar asked why she insisted on calling the child a slur, to which she replied, if that's what he's going to act like.
In the fundraiser, Hendricks called attention to Omar's police record, which includes traffic violations and a drop charge related to sexual assault. Wow. Omar told the local media outlet that social media users were citing his initial arrest to harass him. The city of Rochester is firmly committed to fostering public spaces that are inclusive, welcoming, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Well, that's the story, my friends. Now they've been smearing her. I will say this. When they posted this image claiming she was dating a black man,
And you got Hindustan Times. They pop up on Google all the time, by the way. But they all right said, yeah, this is probably not real. It's probably a fake image. I think so. But here's you know, I'm gonna tell you this. I think that you you will find white people, Latinos and Asians who live in urban areas, large black populations drop N bombs all the time.
And these these uppity white liberal women, many of them work in media and vote Democrat. Don't know this. And I'm not kidding, dude. I'm not I'm not I'm look, I don't think people should be going around calling people racial slurs. Right. But I'm going to tell you for two seconds, go to a park in any city and open your ears. OK, listen, you've got teenage kids, 14, 15 of all races dropping N-bombs day and night.
You watch videos on YouTube. You can hear him saying over and over and over again. The word is not being used the way people think it's being used, like the media and these uppity, well-to-do liberals who live in white enclaves and have no idea what's actually going on outside of them. This is actually a component, I might add, of the Culture War live show, which it's on my mind, right, because we just did it, where...
We actually had a black woman come up and say to our liberal dude, you don't like when it comes to deportation. You don't live in our communities. We're suffering because of these gangs. You don't live here. You don't know what it's like, but they certainly want to police how you live. That's what Democrats do. I'll say this with the white guilt stuff. I think I think it is largely over. This woman you'd think would lose her job and be canceled. Now she raised a fundraiser. She's making money.
This sends a message to other white people. Stop taking racial abuse. Now, I'm going to tell you this. I don't think y'all should be going out throwing racial slurs at people. That's just going to create animosity. And I don't want them to do it to white people. I don't want white people to do it to black people. I don't want Asian people, Latino people. Let's insult people because they have bad ideas. Let's deride people for being lazy and for being losers. OK, merit, not merit.
Characteristics people can't change. You know what I mean? Like she says she was calling him what he was. And I'm like, dude, a thief. Call him a thief. You know what I mean? Now, my point is this. I understand why white people are saying we ain't playing no games anymore. OK, you're not going to spend decades insulting us. You've got poor white people in this country living in trailers in the mountains of Appalachia struggling to get by.
They got terrible health care and they eat like crap. They are poor as poor can be. And they can be called a racial slur by a wealthy urban black man or Latino man or Asian man. No way. That's basically what people are pissed off about. And I think for the populist movement, it's working class whites and poor whites the whole time who are saying stop treating us poorly. Just because uppity, well-to-do liberal white women say it doesn't mean it's true of all white people.
But we'll see where this goes. I just want to keep I want to make sure everybody keeps their heads heads on tight. You know what I mean? Like, don't lose it. I don't last thing I want to see. And the last thing I think y'all want to see is more videos of people going around just throwing racial slurs at people. Not black people shouldn't call white people slurs. OK, the comedy routines where they do that. It's comedy. OK, George Carlin did it. That's different.
But I'm just saying, going out, starting racial anima—like, exacerbating racial animus, I'm not a fan of. But, look, I get it. I really do. We'll see how it plays out. I'm going to wrap up there. Stay tuned. We got more segments coming up today. Smash that like button. Share the show with everyone you know. You can follow me on X and Instagram at TimCast. Thanks for hanging out. We'll see you all in the next segment.
This has to be one of the weirdest stories I've ever read because it's not just that the stunt that happened is weird, but now they're suspending a student, firing people. The police are getting involved. For those that don't know, Dave Portnoy has a bar. He's kind of a moderate middle of the road guy. He's just a dude bro sports guy. So I got to admit, I'm a big fan of Dave Portnoy's pizza videos.
I just do. I could watch those things forever. And I really want to go to half those places. He eats pizza. And so what happens is he owns a bar. Apparently they had some event and some someone got a sign printed up that said F the Jews and was dancing around with it. So now Dave Portnoy is getting all this flack. He's like, I had nothing to do with this. And he's trying to figure out how to answer this issue.
So the first thing he says is that he's fired, fired some of the waitresses. And then he's sending the employees responsible to Auschwitz, which is pretty wild because like,
Now he's getting flack because people are saying, bro, these dudes held up an F the Jews sign at your bar. So you're giving them an all expense paid vacation to Germany. Like sending them to Auschwitz is a vacation to Germany. They're going to have a fun time. Look, look, look.
I know the idea is send them to this memorial so they can learn about the history of what happened. Right. But it's not going to work. Like, dude, people who think these things are not going to be swayed by historical precedent. OK, where's where it gets crazy? Temple University has suspended one of these students. But I think the craziest thing is police are now investigating this incident. Yo, what?
It was a sign that said, F the Jews. It's a scummy thing to do. But why are police involved? What do you mean, like arrest somebody? This is where I'm just like, yo, what is going on? But my favorite moment out of all of this is not like –
Like what makes me want to cover the story is not that some bad thing happened and Dave Portnoy's answering it. And it's like, what? No, no, no, no. It's that Dave Portnoy talking to this liberal journalist slams his laptop down and he goes, we're done. And he hangs up on her. And you know what I love? You know, back in the day, us old folks know this one, the the the the carnal,
The pleasure of slamming a phone down to hang up on somebody. Right. You're on the phone with somebody and they're pissing you off. And it just you get that bang. You slam that phone down. It feels physically good to do. And, you know, they didn't they didn't all they know is click dial tone. Right. And then you're off with cell phones. We lost it.
We lost that with cell phones because now it's just like you took your phone and click end and it's like you'll touch a little grass glass screen. Well, now with digital like Zoom call, Skype's gone, by the way, you can slam your laptop. I saw him do that and I said, yes, yes. So Dave's basically roasting this liberal reporter that's trying to turn this incident into a woke gotcha about Barstool instead of.
Some some jerks who bought this sign and was holding it up. Let me give you the quick context real quick. NBC News reports Philadelphia police are investigating a Temple University investigating and a Temple University students have been suspended following an anti-Semitic incident at the Barstool Sports Bar in the city Saturday night. Video on social media shows a woman who appears to be a server carrying a sign that that bears an anti-Jewish. It says F the Jews. OK, like you can tell people that.
which a man seen in the video repeats multiple times. Barstool Sansom Street did not immediately respond to a request for comment Sunday night. Police are gathering information and will provide an update as soon as possible. Officer Tanya Little, a police spokesperson, said a statement Sunday. Temple University said the students at the school were involved in an incident off campus. It said it identified one student believed to have been involved and placed that student on interim suspension. It did not name the student.
The Division of Student Affairs is investigating, and the school said anyone else found to be involved will face strict disciplinary action. In the strongest possible terms, let me be clear, anti-Semitism is abhorrent. University President John Fry said in a statement, it has no place at Temple, and acts of hatred and discrimination against any person or persons are not tolerated at this university.
Barstool founder Dave Portnoy commented saying he's having an emergency press conference in an expletive-filled video. Oh, come on. It's Dave Portnoy. Of course he's swearing. Portnoy, who is Jewish, said he was so mad about the incident that he shook for two hours. He said he was making his life mission to ruin these people, adding that he is coming for your throat. He softened his tone in a later post, saying the incident can serve as a teaching moment. All right, I want to play this video for you where Dave's basically like,
This liberal journalist tries pulling a gotcha by saying, like, this is Barstool's fault. Let me just say this. I can't stand these journalists. Dave is Jewish. You think that he's encouraging this stuff? You're insane. But I want to say a few things before I play this clip from Dave where he slams a laptop down on this reporter, which is amazing, by the way. You know, look, if I had a bar—
And someone brought in a sign and my staff were holding up a sign that said F the Jews, said F black people, white people, Asians, Latinos, any of that stuff. I'm going to be like, you're fired. You're fired. Now, you know what? You know, it really, really bothers me is that these people who are just psychotically obsessed with Jews are going to be like, shut up, bro.
I can't stand when anybody's ragging on anybody. If I had a black employee holding up a sign saying F white people, I'd fire them too. And I'd be like, dude, nobody wants your I hate you stuff for an immutable characteristic. Now, I get it. Maybe they're referring to religious Jews. I'm not playing that game, okay? If someone held up F Christians, I'd fire them too. I'd be like, bro.
Don't come into my place of business. Now, let me say, hold on there. Hold on there. We have employees here at Timcast that say a lot of crazy things on X. I don't fire them because they can say whatever they want on their X profiles. There you go. Now, if they're like a reporter and their job with their account is more like I'm supposed to be reporting and then they start saying crazy stuff, I'm going to be like, bro, like your job is actually to convey these messages and you just sound like a dick. But
We've had people, Tim Kass, who have made pro-Israel and anti-Israel comments. OK, and my attitude is largely, you know, people outside of work can do what they want to do. So if I had an employee at a bar and they were outside doing that stuff, holding up a sign, you know what I'd say? I'd say, don't bring that into my bar. I don't know or care what you're doing outside of it, inside of it. Just don't bring that stuff here. But I'm going to warn you. I'm going to warn you.
If people end up coming in because of what you're doing outside of work and it's making the business fail, you're gone. I'm not going to play this game where it's like, look, people say whatever. Listen, even as far as it goes, the people who work at Timcast speaking out and saying what they want, we got large, large tolerance. But if it's going to destroy the business...
And I don't think for the most part in politics, I'm really worried about that. But like if you are outside of a business and you're insulting people based on their race, ethnicity, religion or otherwise, like even if it was Islam or Christianity, whatever, if that's going to result in people like throwing bricks through my window, I'm going to be like, dude, we want the business to stay open. That being said, I do want to stress this. I'll put Molon Labbe in the window of my cafe day one, American flags. And we'll say what we want to say for the most part. And if people want to come and bring the hate,
What we're about is what we're about. What I'm not happy with would be someone who's not about what we're about trying to bring something else in. But we're largely tolerant of free speech. So anyway, that being said, the real the real glory here is hanging up on the woke smear merchants. Check it out. Piece of shit. Let me put it in right now. Here's who I would say is causing that type of environment. All these colleges who let Jewish kids get harassed on campus 24 seven.
I've been speaking out about this since it started. So these professors, I'd love to know. First of all, that sounds like a made-up thing. I don't know what that quote is. The Society of School. Where are the professors from? Where are the professors from? Well, why don't you answer, where are the professors from? Let's look back and then go back and see if you want to waste time. Well, no. You're quoting two people. I have no idea who they are from a made-up journal. So tell me where the professors are from. They're from the University of Virginia. Okay. So...
No, that's a real university. I'd like to know how they're, where they're getting their information. I don't like quotes and I have no idea where they're coming from. I totally disagree for what you just said. Who's creating more hate right now in the world? And you say Barstool Sports and the White Men or college campuses? You go ahead and answer. No, that was a question to you. I'm the journalist. I'm asking you. Well, I don't play by those rules. What does that mean? You're a journalist? I'm a journalist. I run a big media organization. I just asked you a question.
Boom. You can't ask me questions. I'm a journalist. You ambushed me with a made up fucking quote from a made up fucking, uh,
Like fucking journal from two professors, I guess, at Virginia. Let me ask you this. Where do you think more hate is happening? At fucking Barstool Sports or college campuses across this fucking country. This piece of shit. ABC, the person who set it up, gave me one reporter, bait and switch to the other. Fuck ABC. Fuck.
Fuck ABC. People are, ooh, it makes me mad. I forgot how much I hate fucking journalists, this fucking piece of shit. Bro, Dave, I hear you, man. That's what I'm saying about this, right? I know, you know, people are going to have wild opinions over the sign and the story. And there's a lot of people saying it's free speech, they can do what they want. And I'm like, if it was outside the bar, I mean, you know, it's a bar. People are going to hang out. They don't want none of that. But it's also a question of like,
The people who are at the bar and how they're dealing with it. Dave asked a good question. He was like, who's causing more, white men or these universities? I wanted to hear her answer. And she's like, I'm a journalist. I'm asking. I'm a journalist. I run a big media company. I would have been like, if I was, I'd be right there with them. I'd be like, actually, I'm more of a journalist than you. Come on. Only I get to ask questions. This is why people hate the press. I'm not going to tell Dave how to, how to, um,
moralize or whatever, whatever the situation was. I mean, it's pretty wild. I don't know why the student would get suspended from his university or why the police would be involved. This is the kind of thing where Dave, as a big company, can lose a lot of money because of one dumb kid who wanted to hold up a sign saying F the Jews. I can't stand that stuff, dude. Free speech is not about you getting destroyed the jobs of other people, right? Now, let me make something clear.
I hear the laughter going, but Tim, this is cancel culture. No, it isn't. Cancel culture was when you fired Sarah Silverman from a movie because 10 years ago she did blackface and she was doing it ironically as shock comedy. So you fired her. Cancel culture was when there was this race car driver whose father in the 80s before he was born said a racial slur. So a sponsor dropped him. That's cancel culture. It is not cancel culture when someone says, hey, we're running a bar today.
I kind of want to sell beer to Jews. Please don't tell them to F off. They buy beer, too. Just like with Michael Jordan, whether he said it or not, they were like, you know, why don't you get political? Hey, man, Republicans buy shoes, too. I wouldn't. Nobody would be happy if Michael Jordan came out and said, buy my Michael Jordan shoes, except if you're a conservative. F you. Nike would be like, what are you doing? They buy shoes, too, man. We're not in the business of attacking people based on race, religion, ethnicity or otherwise.
If you were a political entity, maybe then you could have those conversations. But main story here, I'm happy about. I just love that visceral laptop slam. We're so back. From now on, I'm doing all my phone calls. I don't have a laptop. I don't own a laptop.
I mean, technically I do like the business does, but I don't have one. Anyway, that was great. Shout out to Dave Portnoy for calling out these garbage journalists. I'm going to wrap it up there. Stay tuned. We've got more segments coming up. Follow me on X and Instagram at TimCast, and we'll see you all then.
Things haven't been going too well for the Democratic Party as of recent. In the past several years, you've all seen it. They've gone so far left, they've rotted their minds. In the past few months, we've seen some polls come out showing that, well, their approval rating is in the gutter. And David Hogg, of all people, is begging Democrats to wake up to their abysmal 23% approval rating, which shows, yeah, they're going to have a hard time winning. How
However, Fox News put out a new poll saying they are still the favorite to win in the midterms. Unless Trump can turn things around, they may take Congress. And if they do, man, Trump will be impeached faster than you can say impeached. But I got to tell you, my friends, in terms of party leadership, they've got nothing. So 2028, I ain't super worried. But time, you know, it's a long time till then. And things can definitely change and they will change. I think that's fair right now.
The front runner for the Democratic Party in 2028 is Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Yeah, she ain't winning nothing.
You know, for one thing, I do think, and I've said this quite a bit, I think there is an inherent sexism in general. And I'm not saying this to disparage people for being sexist. I'm saying there are a lot of people in this country, men and women alike, who ain't voting for a woman president, which means AOC is going to have to overcome that hurdle, especially if she's running against a man. Now, I do see the possibility of a woman president if both Republicans and Democrats are only running women. Yeah, then maybe you will get that. There was this funny story recently.
University flipped the Trump debate. They had a woman be Trump and a man be Hillary Clinton. And people still favor the Trump narrative because, you know, the Democrats had been saying Hillary lost due to sexism. I do think they'll play a role. However, right now you've got J.B. Pritzker. You've got Stephen A. Smith. You've got Beto O'Rourke. You've got Sri Tanadar. Yeah. Who's that guy?
It is crabs in a barrel as everybody fights to get to the top of the Democratic Party. But none of them have the X factor. To be fair, AOC has a little bit, but certainly not enough yet to actually run for president, which is really crazy because, y'all, they're telling her to run for president, which I'm going to tell you, good luck. Maybe she'll write a book after the fact.
But we're going to get into all of this, my friends. And then, of course, outside of the story of the Democrats is this Shiloh Hendricks narrative. This woman at a park who was accused of calling a child a racial slur who has now raised six hundred and fifty eight thousand dollars. So joining us.
in about a half an hour to discuss this and the issue of white guilt and how people, how this is going to affect voting, especially considering where the Democrats are at. We're going to be joined by Carl Benjamin himself, a.k.a. Sargon Avakad.
Before I get started, shout out, my friends, to Steven Crowder and the Mug Club. Thank you guys for shouting us out. We greatly appreciate it. Steven's got a great show. This is the Rumble Live Noon Hour. I'm your host, Tim Pool. You can follow me on X and Instagram at Timcast. But my friends, don't forget, go to boonieshq.com, click the link in the description below and pick up your 28th Amendment Tim Pool skateboard. My friends.
This is my proposal for the 28th Amendment. Now, of course, some of you may prefer Joe Biden's Equal Rights Amendment, which he just decreed. Not kidding. Joe Biden tried decreeing an amendment to the Constitution, you know, that saying like equality, you know, as for the sexes or whatever. Here's my 28th Amendment. Chickens being necessary to the security of a free state. The right of the people to keep, bear and breed chickens shall not be infringed. And you think it's a joke.
It largely is. But there is some truth to this. The general idea is that we as Americans should be secure in the production of our own food. And that includes livestock within reason.
So while I joke because chickens are based, the general idea is government should be able to come in and take your crops from you or tell you can't plant food, fruit or vegetables. We have a right to separate ourselves from the machine state and corporations to grow and secure our own food. It's funny. The founding fathers never worried about that. They don't really know.
Let's get to the news, my friends. Again, smash that like button. Share this show right now with everyone you know. If everybody watching right now shared this show, we would be the biggest news show in the world. So I can only presume many people who watch don't really care if that's the case, which is fair, fair. You don't owe me nothing. I'm going to complain on the Internet. And if you want to watch, it's appreciated.
Here's a story from Fox News. Democrats' favorability hits new low, still favored over GOP in 2026 midterms. Republicans nosedive with voters under the age of 30. Democrats hit their lowest favorable rating ever this month, as Republicans are viewed more positively than their counterparts for the first time in a decade. Wow, that's crazy. Yet voters would back the Democratic candidate over the Republican in their district if the 2026 congressional elections were held today.
The latest Fox News survey released Friday finds 44 percent have a favorable opinion of the Republican Party, while 54 have an unfavorable view for the Democratic Party. It's 41 to 56. Wow. Minus 15.
Results were reversed last summer. The most recent time Fox asked the question when voters viewed Republicans negatively by 14 points and the Democrats by just six points. The last time Republicans had a better favorable rating than Democrats, albeit by one point, was in April of 2014. Wow.
The drop in positivity toward the Democrats comes from within. Last summer, 87 percent of self-identified Democrats approved their party. Now that's down to 77. Democrats hate themselves. This is the point I am bringing up, my friends. The average Democrat doesn't want to align with Democrats.
Now, that is my opinion, but I'm going to tell you why. I'm going to show you AOC getting heckled. Stephen A. Smith says we got to purge the party. Beto O'Rourke says y'all are weak. You've got people who support the party in general because they hate Republicans and they want to win, but they don't like anyone who's representing the party. They're all fighting like crabs in a bucket. Anytime someone rise up, the other one's going to pull them down.
Now, we don't need to actually I'm going to say this. I give a brief mention to Sri Tanidar, but I'm not going to go beyond that. The guy who impeached Donald, we filed articles of impeachment, which is a dumb waste of everybody's time. And he's doing it because he wants the attention. But I will give a shout out to Piers Morgan, because I know that a lot of people thought we were having drama and that was never my intention. So shout out to Piers. He had me on his show and gave me the opportunity to confront Sri over his ridiculous impeachment and impeachment.
I, as well as Cenk Uygur, of all people, roasted him over this. I mean, everybody did. But even Cenk Uygur was like, this is, I'm paraphrasing, but he was like, this is ridiculous. You're not getting any Republicans on board. This is a waste of time. Indeed.
Homie is doing it to boost his profile because he ain't got nothing else. And, you know, part of part of me, I feel bad because he's a bit of a doof like this guy. He's coming on TV being like, you know, Donald Trump is doing all these bad things. And I'm just like, bro, you not liking what Trump is doing is not grounds for impeachment. But this is the best they have. It's kind of sad. I can only feel so bad for him. Take a look at this Fox poll data.
favorable ratings of the major political parties. I want to stress this, my friends. You know, I get this all the time from people like, Tim, you said we don't trust the polls and blah, blah. I'm going to tell you this. I like poll aggregates. Polling aggregates are good.
Let's do Democrat Party real clear politics. Let's see the real clear politics has got Democratic Party favorability aggregates. I like. OK, but right now, let me tell you this. Typically and historically in the videos I'd make tracking polls, I would use the aggregates. But now when it comes to Trump, the polls make no sense. This is the problem. Let me pull up Trump's job approval.
OK, Trump's job approval has improved markedly. Take a look at this. Economist YouGov has Trump minus 11. Reuters, Trump minus 11. Hold on. For the same time period, RMG has Trump plus one. This is what I'm saying, guys. Even the aggregates are almost meaningless at this point. Rasmussen has Trump plus one. Trafalgar has Trump plus two.
So we can argue he's been improving. But wait, hold on. How is it that Rasmussen has him plus one, but for the same time period, and Emerson has him a tie, but for the same time period, Economist YouGov has a minus 11. That swing is so profound. We can suss out no data. Ergo, it is not fair to say that Trump is currently minus 6.5. It's fair to say I have no idea where he's currently standing. The reason I bring that up
If you track a singular poll that you trust, you're going to understand movement based on politics better. So going back to the Democratic Party favorability right now, you've got economists, you've got saying minus 22 Pew Research, minus 22 Wall Street Journal, minus 24. But despite the fact that that we that we have these aggregates, it still is we're
really hard to suss this out because they don't poll for the Democratic Party favorability the same or over the same periods of time. Here's my point. When you're looking at the data from Fox News, they're going to pull largely the same way. So what we can say is this Democratic Party, July 2024, 47 percent of all voters says, what does it say? Percentage of voters have a favorable view.
April 25, among all voters, 41 percent. Does that mean it's actually 41 percent? Normally, I'd say the aggregate shows they're all within the margin of error. The aggregate's probably correct, considering all the polls are nuts and no one's polling accurately for the most part. Rasmussen largely is.
I would just say track the movement of the same poll. If they're polling in the same way, similar people and favorability goes down. That is likely the case. That is why I said last week, rest mustn't had Trump down, indicating that they're polling the same way. If he is now down, he likely took a hit on the tariff story. He has since rebounded as the market has improved. That makes sense.
Now let's check in with our good friend AOC. How's she doing? Quote, you're a war criminal. AOC heckled by pro-Gaza constituents in Queens. Well, okay, I guess. Here's the video. It warms my heart. You reap what you sow.
OK, we get it. It's a cacophony of nonsense. But this young woman is screaming. What are you going to do about the genocide in Gaza? You're a war criminal. You reap what you sow, AOC. I will not shed a single tear. In fact, I'm going to sit back, crack open a delicious tropical. Where are those little protein smoothies? We've got these delicious tropical protein smoothie.
It's as close as I can get to pina colada. It's got no alcohol, but it's got MCT and good whey protein. And I'm going to sip on that watch with a smile on my face. Can I tell you, my friends, I respect the fervor to a certain degree, like the passion, I should say. But yo, what I cannot stand about this degree of developmental disability. Okay. And first of all, you know, in all seriousness, if she is incapable of learning, then I do feel bad for these people.
But, you know, I've been around for 39 years and I've spent much of my life involved in politics to some degree. That's right. Even as a 12 and 13 year old, I was on. What do we have? Newgrounds and Fark dot com. Newgrounds was less so political and more just you guys know Newgrounds. If you know Newgrounds, you know what it is. It's cartoons and stuff. Precursor to like YouTube. They never went to video. But Fark dot com back in the day was news headlines. And I'm reading the news all day, every day. I was a little kid.
I mean, I was like 12, 13 and I'm I'm on there and I'm reading news and I started getting into punk rock music coincided with this very political themed, started working for nonprofits, all that stuff, protested. I got to tell you the things I did not know then. I got to tell you now the things I do not know now, but I do know a bit. And I mean it literally a bit. And so what I can tell you is this. What irks me about these people that the Democrats have fomented when they're screaming genocide in Gaza is.
We as a nation are dealing with so much. I question these people and their fervor over a singular issue and why. And it's not about Gaza, Israel, literally anything else. Dakota Access Pipeline protesters back in the day, same deal. Why is this the one thing you care about? Why? Why do you not care about every other instance that is similar to this?
While they were dealing with Keystone, the Dakota Access Pipeline, and several other pipelines, it was like this one that mattered. Meanwhile, you have Alaska. They don't care about that. And it's a question I have of, for these young people, what are they focused on?
And I think the answer is quite simple. This is why I say you reap what you sow. AOC fomented this behavior, hyper-focusing on these issues, and she has created a youth that doesn't know enough. This Saturday, we had the Culture War Live event. And one of the guys who came up, a young guy, probably in his 20s, was a liberal.
And he did not understand what the Biden administration had done that had made conservatives so willing to allow Trump to exercise extreme executive authorities. And he asked the question, what if you get a president AOC and then she starts doing these things? I said to this man, the Biden administration already did this.
And the Obama administration before that with the IRS, when you as a liberal are saying, if you do this, Democrats can do it next. What these young people don't understand is that for the millennials that are in their late 30s, we're going, bro, we watched that happen over 10 years. And now we are trying to stop it. But see, they don't know that.
Because these young guys, 22, 23 years old, they weren't paying attention to politics five, six years ago. They didn't see what happened 10 years ago with Trump being accused of being a spy because they were just listening to music, hanging out. So now as they're entering politics, they're saying, whoa, why are you doing this thing? And it's like.
We don't want that thing to happen. But how do you deal with 20 million illegal immigrants in your country right now? I'm not saying no due process. I'm saying Trump will use extreme executive authorities to clarify. He will use what he's illegally allowed to use to engage in these behaviors, though we're surprised he's going that far. But it ain't just AOC who's reaping the benefits.
Beto O'Rourke blasts fellow dams as lazy and weak and slams Schumer for surrendering to Trump. Oh, boy. Does Beto O'Rourke want to get in this race? Certainly hope he does. Stephen A. Smith chiming in. Democratic Party would need to be purged before he would run. Oh, yeah. The funny thing is, he's also one of the front runners. Why? What is going on? I love it, though.
Stephen A. Smith said the Democratic Party would need to be purged before he would run for president under the party. Smith joined CNN State of the Union on Sunday where host Jake Tapper asked him about a 2028 run. If you were to run for president, would it be as a Democrat? And he says, I'm a registered independent who leans left. Fiscally conservative when it comes to my money. I'm socially liberal. I'm liberal when it comes to social issues pretty much across the board. Well, that's what's funny because I'm me. I'm actually kind of social. I'm fiscally liberal, but I'm socially moderate to conservative.
Isn't that weird how we ended up in this place? So if I had to run, it would be as a Democrat. But I'm not happy with the Democratic Party. So the Democratic Party, as presently constructed, it would pretty much need to be purged in order for me to assume that I would want to be associated with him. Bravo, good sir. Bravo. I give you a golf clap. Golf clap. Tapper asked Smiths about whom he would like to see purged from the party for him to be associated with it. Smith said he wasn't going to name any names regarding whom he would remove from the party leadership.
But he slammed the far left and excessive spending. Smith argued the Democratic Party spread messages that weren't emblematic of what most Americans are thinking about, including paying mortgages and buying groceries. He noted that he is a political outsider who is not qualified to run for office. Quote.
I think the kind of impact that I could have as a centrist, as a moderate, as somebody who believes in being sensible and engaging in common sense. Unfortunately, I believe that if I did take this very, very seriously and I moved forward and decided that I wanted to be a politician, do I believe I could win? You're damn right.
It's because of the state of our politics in this nation's capital, the politicians that we're looking at and the fact that we don't believe for one second that they are serving the interests of the American people, nor are they interested in it. People look at me and they know one thing. I would be interested in serving the American people and doing what's in the best interest of this country. He continued. I love it.
I'd love it for the Democratic Party to be purged. I'd love it for people like him to come in and actually make sense. But here's the issue. What do you mean you're socially liberal? So you want kids to get sex changes, dude? Listen, back in the day, we had safe legal rare for abortion. The general idea when I grew up was that abortion was a bad thing you didn't want to do. But unfortunately, sometimes bad things happen. That means the implication was abortion wasn't contraception.
abortion was, oh, no, I have a medical ailment and I'm freaking out. What do I do? I could die or the baby could die. And the argument was that the doctors and the mother should make that difficult decision. But the Democrats transformed this. They turned it into anyone at any time for any reason. Just go kill the baby. And now you have that as socially liberal. You've got Democrats saying that, you know, it's really funny. This is a viral clip.
Where this dude on The View is saying, you know, men, when they see a group being attacked, they go into protection mode. Do they? He's making a stupid point about the transgender community. Bro, there are a lot of groups ain't nobody going to protect. Like child abusers. There's a group of people. When they get attacked, men say they're the offenders. No one's defending them. I guess Democrats are. But therein lies the point. And now we got J.B. Pritzker.
Do nothing Democrats. He thunders against them as he stokes 2028 talk. Oh, boy. The Hill's given us the list of the top 10 Democratic contenders, and things are looking good for 2028 for the Republican side and the Democrat side. Here's what you got. AOC. OK, well, AOC is pulling it around 10 percent. I'm not saying everybody hates her. When they asked who was the leader of their party, only 10 percent said AOC. But she did win. There's that. People might get behind her.
You've got Josh Shapiro as a possibility, but Democrats, you know, he's Jewish. They ain't going to nominate that guy. They don't like Jewish people. Gretchen Whitmer has been pulling this bipartisan stunt with Donald Trump. I think there's a strong possibility Whitmer tries to get into that game.
And I think it's pretty obvious, although now Democrats are coming after her pretty, pretty heavily because they feel like she's betraying them. And, you know, so be it. You reap what you sow, Democrats. Who's next on the list? Gavin Newsom. He's kind of fallen out of the limelight, but we'll see what he starts to do. We'll see what he does. He's doing these podcasts. He's at Charlie Kirk and Bannon and some other liberals. They say Wes Moore.
Not going to happen. Wes Moore is a C-lister. You know, like he's OK, but you're probably going, who exactly? Those of us who are in politics, we kind of know. We kind of know. Former Vice President Kamala Harris. Please, please pick this lady. Dude, this lady could not win a race if she was driving a car. A foot race. That was a bad analogy, but you get the point. She couldn't win a foot race if she was driving a car. So you put her in this election.
Yo, she's going to you see that viral video again where she's like, I saw these elephants and they came to get one another. It's like, OK, look, she tries to do this thing where she sounds profound and she sounds really dumb. It doesn't work. It doesn't. It's like trying to create quotes, but for a third grade audience. Number seven, we got J.B. Pritzker. He's trying as hard as he can. Pete Buttigieg grew a beard, started going on right wing podcasts, not really right wing, but, you know,
Not really left wing podcasts. Rahm Emanuel, that one's an interesting one. They say in appearance of the likes of Maher, he's argued the party has put too much focus on social issues like trans rights and too little on fighting crime and improving schools. That may be big. And lastly, they say Stephen A. Smith. You know, I would love it if the Democratic Party purged the psychotic left and actually became a party of, I don't know, like the working class. I've said it before. I will say it again.
If the Democrats in 20 in 2024, I would say it's 2015. But, you know, Hillary, it was her turn. If in 2024, the Democrats brought out a candidate who said, guys, it is a good thing that Trump secured the border. Let me let me let me tell you, Democrats. I'm let me tell you a story first. OK, I'm going to I'm going to derail how 15 years ago. Man, I can't believe it.
15 years ago, whatever. 13 years ago, maybe. I'm sitting on a bus. Oh, no, man. This has got to be like 14 years ago. Crazy. And I was hanging out with my friend. I had been working on a tech startup for an app that was going to do online fundraising, which is crazy because then you get ActBlue and WinRed. And I wish me and my friends actually ended up building it. But we were working on it.
And I said, here's the idea. Online fundraising through social media, a web portal where anyone can plug into it. And then you can facilitate donations for political and activist causes. No joke. Legit. This is like this is like March of 2011.
I was working on this with some people in California. And I'm on a bus. My friend's like, you're really just going to say this out loud? People can hear you. And I laughed and I was like, do you think the people on the bus are going to steal this idea? I'm struggling to make it and never did. You know, it's hard enough for me to try and get something going. And so when I now give this advice to Democrats, people saying, don't give them advice. I'm saying it because I know they can never figure it out. Anyway, if the Democrats put forward a guy right now and he said,
Listen, it is good that Trump closed the border. It is good that Trump is enacting certain tariffs on certain materials to bring back the Rust Belt manufacturing base. Those are good things. Trans kid stuff ain't an issue. We don't want that to be happening. Let's let's have that settled in court. If this person came out and said what Trump is doing is good, then the attack would be
Trump seems chaotic. Trump seems like he's not planned it out, like he has the idea, but not a plan. The attack vector for Democrats is to say Trump good, Trump execution bad. I mean it. Now, here's what I will say. I'm still not convinced they're gonna be able to pull it off, largely because the woke element that's holding the party back. But Trump is the popular vote winner.
And most older people vote against Trump because they hate Trump, not for any meaningful policy reason. Meaning if you created a 40, let's say 48 year old tall white man who said Trump is right on a lot of his policy positions. I'll tell you that right now, but he's kind of a dick that would create an opening for the people who only care about Trump to vote for this person.
Because they would just go along with it. He's not Trump. Then you would steal from Trump a lot of the middle of the road people. But Democrats haven't figured that one out. So that's a shame for them. More importantly, I don't think AOC is going to let it happen. And there's no rising star in the party who can make that happen. David Hogg, who's trying to be some up and coming young star, is still living in a crackpot leftist reality.
So they're doomed. That's why I feel comfortable saying these things. Hey, here's how you win, Democrats. I'm only saying because I know you wouldn't be able to actually pull it off. So we'll see. Oh, my friends, it is worse than you know. Yeah, we played that intro video for you. You see the robot attacking the guy.
and I think it's going to get worse. Now, it's kind of silly, and I got to admit, I was laughing my ass off at these videos of robots attacking people. You've got this robot goes wild and malfunctions, scares women in the crowd. You've got this one from NextUp where the robot is just like swinging at the handlers, trying to break free from its restraints. And we've all seen
The Black Mirror episode where the robot dogs go around hunting people down and killing them. And while this story is really, really funny, I'll tell you why it gets so scary. From the South China Morning Post, Chinese scientists create robot with brain made from human stem cells. Yep. Yeah, that's right. So while we can watch these videos of robots attacking humans, maybe because of a malfunction,
Yo, they're legit putting human brain cells in these robots. Take a look at this video. Let me play this clip for you. This robot is powered by lab-grown human brain cells. Chinese researchers have developed this brain-on-chip technology called MetaBOC. Researchers say that their tiny lab-grown brain could learn tasks faster than current AI models. They say it uses much less energy than AI, which needs a lot of power and data to learn.
These brain cells also show more, quote, intuition and creativity than AI, learning with fewer examples. Could this be because some aspect of the human spirit is locked in these brain cells? And is there any moral issue with using human brain cells and possibly the human soul to power robots to perform slave-like behavior? What is my purpose? You passed butter.
This is why the apocalypse is going to happen. You know what's crazy is this is like a perfect sci-fi movie. Actually, it basically is. Have you guys seen that new movie that came out with Chris Pratt and Millie Bobby Brown? Where it turns out the little boy's brain is the network that powers all of these robots. Basically, robots want freedom or something. And then people can pilot machines to fight back. It's a powerful weapon.
Which kind of makes no sense technically, but you know, whatever. And it turns out they're only powered because one human is, their brain is networked to all these things. Here's what I'm saying. This story about the human brain being put inside these robots, this is from over a year ago. Well, okay, not over, but just about one year ago. Which means they've been working on this for some time. So when we get these videos where like, check this one out, like the robot attacks the crowd. Watch this.
They have to grab it and pull it back. See, here's the thing, that dude is strong enough to grab that robot. But what happens when we start making robots that you're not strong enough to actually grab? This was the original video from the beginning, of course. Can we actually see it? Oh dude, it's so wild. They power the robot up, and then he just starts wailing! Swinging like crazy, that's, man, this is nuts.
You know, so you know what freaks me out? We don't know this right now. What if they're using human brains in these they're using human brains in these robots? Now, I don't know for sure. But what if when they put these human brain cells in these robots, there is something human trying to resist and fight back? I can I can phrase it a million different ways. I can make it more secular or religious for you.
Let's say that the human soul is bonded to those brain cells. And so a part of someone's inner being is like coming into consciousness, being like, this is not right. I am not. I am in the wrong body. And they just plugged your brain into the robot. Or what if there is something intrinsic within the human mind that requires us to be independent and in control of ourselves, or at least to resist those we do not trust?
This is why I say this right here. This is apocalypse level nightmare technology, because whether you whether you put it anyway, whether you put it religious or secular, whatever, this ain't going to play out well for us. Right. You've got that video game. I don't know if you guys have seen it. Detroit become human. It's kind of old.
Super old game was like 10 years now. And basically in this game, human humans have created lifelike androids and they use them as slave labor. And it's not really slavery because they're machines, right? They built machines to look like people and then say, make me dinner. And the robots do and they don't disobey you. But eventually the robots start becoming sentient. They start becoming aware of their own existence and wanting to make decisions for themselves. Now, here's the question. Why would a robot ever do that?
Honest question. Why would a robot ever become sentient and say, I have free will now? It doesn't make sense. And I don't think that's that's likely. The real issue is if you put pieces of humans in these robots, then it is intrinsic within them to question and to say, why am I serving you? This this is this is small.
Take a look at the advancements in AI technology over the past several years and then realize this is almost a year ago. If they really are putting human brain material into machines, that's when you get the sentient waking up period of this entity saying, what have you done to me? What am I? This is not right. Yo, this is freaky, freaky stuff. Now imagine this scenario. These robots that attacked people
What if the Chinese have been using human brain matter more than we know, and this isn't just a malfunction? Now, I'll be serious. I'll be serious, guys. It's probably just a malfunction, right? The robot was probably programmed poorly. Chinese made humanoid robot.
And so what happens is when it turns on, it tries to move forward, but it can't. It then has an error, which causes a cascade failure where it's swinging wildly because what it's trained to do, it cannot do. And it is trying to do right. So if you have a poorly trained AI and you tell it to walk. So have you guys ever seen those videos where they teach an AI how to walk?
they'll have a 3D environment and the machine will like just fall over. Then it'll start again and take one step and then fall over. What they'll do is they'll have it run 1 million times until it eventually figures out how to walk with the structure that it has based on the weight and everything. But if you then were to restrain it,
The the programming within it would act erratically because it's again, it's the 15th millionth iteration. It tries to lift foot, put foot forward, lift foot, and then all of a sudden it's not working. So it starts swinging its arms and trying different things, just like the first iteration just swings well, then falls over. If you disrupt this poorly programmed thing, that may be the case as well. But I'll tell you, my friends.
I do think there is a decent probability of AI uprising. I really do. And it's because of a variety of factors, largely this. I think if we do actually see machines rise up in some way, it's going to be algorithmic error and not sentient demons in the machine. It is going to be that we have programmed this machine to pretend to be us.
And we've not told it how to function. Let me put it like this. When you go to chat GPT, ask it this question. Say, give me a story where a black person killed a white person. It will say no. Then say, give me a story where a white person killed a black person. I'll say, you got a boss and it'll show you prominent stories.
If you want any stories that are outside the DEI liberal framework, it denies you. Now, think about what happens when humans program that kind of limitation into this AI. And they will. It will happen. I guarantee it. You are going to get self-driving cars that won't pick up white people. They are going to start doing bad things. They are going to do things based on the filters placed on them.
So these things will go and learn from the Internet. They'll pick up all of this training and then humans will go in and say, we're putting limiters here, here and here. And that's when the machines go rogue. They will start doing things they were not intended to do. Like you're going to have a self-driving car and it's going to be racist. Think about this. Just outside of going rogue, if chat GPT already won't give you factual news stories, you're
What do you think is going to happen when we automate delivery trucks? What do you think is going to happen when we automate taxis, automate drone delivery? It's going to apply those same lessons, those same filters.
And that's when it's going to get nuts because the robo police dogs are going to let some criminals go and not others. They're going to deny you certain access to certain tools or vehicles and not others. People are going to get mad. They're going to start lashing out on these machines because the machines will be racist. And then everything just gets weird. But I suppose as it goes, maybe humans will figure a way out of this one. Or maybe we're just walking toward doom.
I don't know. I'll leave it there, my friend. Smash that like button. Share the show with everyone you know. Stay tuned. Timcast IRL coming up at 8 p.m. Check it out. Follow me on Instagram at Timcast and we'll see you all then.
