Gov. Charlie Baker is being scolded for using the word "rant" to describe Ayanna Pressley's speech yesterday at the MLK Breakfast in Boston. It appeared that he was joking around with Pressley after she gave her impassioned speech complimenting her in a way that he was almost saying how could he follow that impassioned speech. Now people are claiming that he was insensitive and needed to apologize. Baker did indeed apologize to Pressley, did he need to though? Is the word "rant" a negative way to describe someone's speech?
