Yeah what is up people of the internet? Welcome back to another episode of the way from podcast where .
host and i'm David.
And this week first I want to give a little shut out to the previous epo de, which was a bonus episode midd week, we did our end of the previous season extra episode. I didn't see IT cause was a bonus timing. Go back and check IT out.
I won't boil who won? But now he was kai, ot, of course. And now trivia scores are reset zero, zero.
Aby time again, feelgood。 I think I think we're saying this the season for thanks. So we're gone with okay, twenty twenty and just lines up. I feel like .
a yeah fair.
Let's post samsung. It's season twenty four now that's what if is no today we've got a hope ch of interesting stories, kind of all the cross the map like bar being renny ed rebranded samsung, claiming there is no such thing as a picture and coding me, oh no and Jerry, everything, doing a turn down of the vision pro, wrapped up with a couple new evs. They are surprisingly interesting, but first I have a number.
I want you guys to react. You, okay, okay. It's an interesting number. I just saw this as a headline and wall link IT below uh P, P, I count vision pro, we knew was a hy pixel pro inch.
But just to give a little bit context, the screen on an iphone fifteen pro max four hundred sixty pixel branch, that's really good. I don't think most of us realized how good that is. Like you don't really see individual pixel unless you're really up close looking for them.
Yeah four hundred plus pixel branch is amazing. But once you put up your face through lenses, it's got to be even higher resolution to be convincing. So HTC vive pro nine hundred fifty pixels prints to get that done, got you trying to minimize the screen door effect.
You're trying to have as high resolution as possible to make things look smooth. The latest and greatest met a quest three one thousand two hundred eighteen pixel branch. That's pretty good, right? You can see this is going vision pro three teen three thousand wo three .
hundred eighty six pixel branch that is about ten times more dense than the original uh, retina display of the iphone yeah and again .
and drive up your face is view through lanes. But that's still the highest resolution displays as we've ever seen. I'm kind of a pixel nerd. Love high resolution. This may be very happy.
Can we do pixel trench per dollar?
I were talking so about IT, actually. Then you gotta give in to the quest, right? The quest is only five hundred to the match.
Better here. Well, vision for three thousand, for three thousand. So that's roughly one to one.
Three, five, three, three hundred eighty six pixel per inch. Three, five hundred dollars. Give or take.
right? One to one. Twenty three is five box and you're getting twelve people branch. That's a win for the per dollar category for us.
That's true.
Why would you ever buy a vision because you have more dollars to spend taxes? Um that's this to some thing. I i'd open the episode anyway. Okay, first story I want to talk about youtube adding testing a color filter then you you actually saw on your feet yeah .
came up on my .
free a color filtering future.
I will say I never would have noticed IT unless David mentioned that the other day ah because you saw the article .
do not explain sure um youtube loves to make random experimental features. Some are very useful ever Green uh like summarizing your your chat or summarizing your comments section. Some are questionable as this one kind of is basically the future is that on for some users?
This is just being tested on some users, and Andrew happen to be a lucky user. Pick down like youtube. You now have an option to sort the your feed by the color of the sun nail with three different colors.
You can either sort IT by red, Green or blue RGB. In practice, this is strange. Uh, vibes only, you know, purely, purely vibes. Uh, yeah. So if you click one of them, IT basically just shows you a bunch of thunk ils, where the primary color is a certain color. There is a verge article on IT and the test image that they showed the first video was the out of focus model three .
three ah and then a bunch more videos .
that just had a lot of red in the thermal, which says nothing about the contents of video. That's what I was .
thinking like you're clicking a thuma e and and is over you're watching the video IT could be a red video I get on, okay, it's a red car of you so there's a lot of red the video often that's not true. Yeah so I don't it's just .
in the thing so doesn't even mean the video yeah yeah like so when I came up in mind, I just said craving something new and then had three circles, red, blue, Green and that create feed of videos based of color and enjoying .
expLoring lets go treaters that .
I could have read them now just like yeah a temporary like search of just like color some no color base yeah thing is.
i'm not mad because I would never have thought about something the stupid but because, like, I don't know, some some dumb, stupid stuff is just kind of fun but is also just very strange. I you .
know I I think they're just bored. Think youtube, if there's one thing that have learned about youtube over the ears, like we've actually been privileged enough to get some behind the scenes and like talk people who work for youtube. And that is a very, very large ship with very many oars.
And yes, neel is a CEO, but he can like point in in a direction and sort of like steer this big thing when they're so gigantic, any changes they make or are at scale, no matter what they do. So if you have a tiny little change that affects one percent of the users on the site, that affects one hundred million people, like that's just what happens. And so they run these experiments all the time where they are like, we just want to kind of see what would happen if and the run experiment that's like point of one percent of users, and if that works well, maybe point o two percent.
And sometimes that makes us a whole site. Sometimes they just go, yep, no more like button counter, no more dislike button counter, whatever. And it's the whole site and that's a huge sweeping change everyone talks about, but I feel like they run these tiny little experiments all the time that nobody talks about that are just as pointless .
feeling or even dummer than this one. Yeah I think they added the chrome game to IT at some point, like time game. And then I went away. I don't know. It's very yeah I think .
like my best guess at what this would attempt to be is we've talked about IT. We will they talk about not that long ago, but all sides like double upon where just kind of like, hey, we're trying to get people to some new things. Maybe your feeds a little stagnant, maybe the people are subscribed to, you're not enjoying as much. Here's like an community to find some people why they decided, like, I want to find people with red doors, right? He is the right they went.
Not totally sure IT is something crazy unexpected happened that we didn't know about like when you just go blue on else, it's all videos about and I don't know. I have no idea what happened, but maybe they found something there.
I'm going to create three new youtube channels, one called red, one called Green and one called blue, and just flood them with with coloured videos of of that color so that people use this feature. All my channels get tons of views. I definitely thought you.
we're about to make a pokey mon reference.
Should we do A B C testing? Where is is the same video exact? We do sometimes in red Green.
That's actually totally in the weeds. But very valid question because we have done A B testing with different colors of the same device where timezone is that. So we'll have one iphone video, some nail and will change the color of the phone on holding from blue to titanium. So we have two of them. And what we found is that makes almost no difference unless there's like an iconic color, which I thought titanium for the iphone was IT would make a less .
than one percent different. This is very funny. We got access to the multi snail option recently. We can submit two thousand now actually up to and basically do A B testing and figure out what people are more likely to click on, which has a higher or click through .
exactly IT tells you which one ended up delivering a higher overall watch oh.
okay, which is like what youtube wants, not necessarily what we want.
Yeah which is have I said this on the part? I don't know, it's the opposite of you would think when you're testing A I A lot of people measure a as high click to rate yeah people saw the them now and click IT good sum now. People saw the them now and were in IT stood beat them.
So you measures success by a high click through percentage. And what youtube is actually giving you when your A B test is not the percent at all, but it's the average watch time of the viewer that click that thuma il. So let's say you have fun nail red thuma ll blue.
And people watched fifty percent of the video when they watched them their red, but they watched eighty percent of the video with them their you would think that now blues the winner because you want to reward that really good metric. But what we started to realize is if you equalize all other factors for your own audience, who would just click whatever you post, no matter what the on there is? No, if you have a horrible fun. Now, only the most dedicated viewers will watch IT and give you a high watch percentage of s so yeah, if you find like you get five percent more or watch time with one, them now maybe pick that on. But if you find you get forty percent more watch time IT probably means the other one is actually a horrible yes.
And watch time is very important and good because play more ads, which generates more revenue for both youtube and the upload yeah um but arguably sometimes you would just .
want more clicks yeah like I would almost argue youtube wands IT because they want more people gain to do more ad and satisfy satisfied but like that almost argues for non click bait things because they don't want people clicking things realizing and as nothing to which is true. But let's be real, almost every youtube is looking for the person to click because they ve yeah the goal .
should be a nice baLance you don't want to over promise, under deliver. That's a bad thum nail that has a high click ory in a low watch time. But you also don't actually want to undertake mise over deliver because people won't even click them now to get reward in the first place. You want to find the baLance. This metric is kind of sort of floating in .
the middle of channel. I get no views, fights, fights yeah and intentionally make everything looking like really ambiguous, complicated. But um ironically, when we do the A B testing on the thumbnails, the percentage is almost always fifty point one and forty nine point nine, which to me is like that's probably not statistically significant actually.
If it's close enough, youtube will just tell you it's a tie what everyone .
yeah I want all the time yeah yeah. So we probably to test .
bigger differences of them maybe by color. Well, all red them. Now maybe that's .
what you red phone red back. Maybe youtube was like we tried this multi time nothing. And IT isn't giving us any relevant data. So let's just throw everything in the wall into colors.
I feel like youtube releasing new features feels like whenever we get a new mayor camera that also shoots videos s it's like they are like, hey, we're giving you this thing that you really want but were also going kind of screw something up with IT where IT doesn't even really give you everything you want like we wanted a aby testing, but they're like we just got a sprinkle in a little bit of a mystery here as well. So you can in a discord gentle, yeah trying to figure how this actually work.
I mean, I get IT if you youtube broke out a future where they just will will tell you which one has a higher clay, people will just continue to optimize for about more and and more. Ick, that's a good point and make that. But that's where we find ourselves, starting by red, blue, Green, anyway, anyway, OK, yes, the first actual story though, yeah, from google, again, barred.
Remember bard, the artist formally known as barred? That's not called bar anymore. So we can we can jump, write into what actually happened.
But essentially there is an update for google assistant with barred. On our android phones that is now just calling IT. Gi and gemini was already the name of, I think, the large language model that was underneath a lot of what I did. But now they're going the whole thing. The name barry is just gone.
Yes, they're getting rid of the bar branding altogether and um which is the most google thing i've ever heard brand identity like and make IT a whole new one that's also not google assistant when they already had the google assistant print since twenty sixteen. Uh anyway what's happening is they are basically rolling out a mobile APP for geri, which is called germany advanced that uses german I ultra one point out sick.
So there is gonna a dedicated APP for IT. I don't think there was a dedicated that for yeah so you just have to use IT in brazil APP yeah ah yeah in the brazil so yeah, it's that's basically news. It's kind of very google to just like throwing this brand identity and name and every think uh, I will say though we have been testing uh german advanced with ultra one point now for last a couple of months on a couple of different phones on a couple of different phones.
And it's been really, really good, at least for me. Yeah, i've been using IT for research purposes, and I do fact check everything that tells me. But IT hasn't really been delusional almost at all, which has been really useful. And i've been looking at very niche things that I need for specific as I working on that is are really hard to like google correctly.
I was could have used to that for the Prices of one thousand .
nine hundred seventy five v cr .
source maybe yeah.
but I was able to say, like explain this to me like i'm twelve and I will actually .
give me analogies. I love that pretty awesome. Yeah, there's all kinds of hacks and things that work really well that I love IT.
I think we are all kind of expecting this to be a thing across all the assistance. The mobile assistance series is long overdue for update. There is all these rumors that keep seeing about a large language model in a big theory update and all these health functions. I think it'll be awesome to see that also big be kind of I don't know why that wasn't part .
of the samsung I IT was kind of confusing how bixby .
didn't get any love, but then there is tons of A I all around bixby, whatever anyway. So gool assistant, yeah I think i've used IT again for a lot of similar stuff to you. And german point, i've been .
using gami yeah.
And not to .
be confused with miss movie and IT has a lot of overlap with the stuff that I was using google system for, but I also actually didn't do some of the things that assistance did do. So it's like picking up mostly where assistant left off for me. And IT does wait more of that fun stuff, like explaining things and generating things. But I needed to like looping you can .
home control and stuff with IT that's like, yeah so like this is sort of the whole like what's going on? My brain started to hear thing going on. What the google assistant thing is like.
Everyone just assumed that google is just going to add largely language model capabilities to assistant because google assistant the like hg branding has very strong brand recognition. It's been rounce twenty sixteen. It's in a ton of um of like smart speakers. It's in people's cars and android auto like they're been using that word in the google sistina logo is recognized all the most people, yes. So for them to, like, be developing this whole separate thing on the side just feels very strange.
I assume that they were doing that with barn so they could develop IT and make IT, not hycy a and light you before they coupled in with google system, which has the ability to like control your home smart stuff um I don't really know why they didn't just keep developing barred until I was ready to couple in with google assistant. I knew they were gonna kill bar at some point but why are they rebranding IT already? I have no idea yeah the branding thing is confusing to me yeah .
as someone who hasn't going to test IT. So i've no real input in this. What I will say is bar is a great name, but i'm very they're getting rid of out much rather when he gets to that point. Hey bard, you bad. What as the the like wakeup word hag?
The full .
thing is extremely annoying to say and I feel like I just mumble IT to the now IT doesn't really recognize anymore hey, gemini is going to be annoying if there's .
someone in the future who watches also where .
I don't think there is A T word for that does go to IT gets eventually pay I they're .
going to it's going to be a google assistant powered by you okay?
So it's so annoying google to say, yes, I want hey, bar that so much Better well.
you can forget about bar yeah it's also there's like a little baLance of the strike of IT can be too easy to say because .
you might actually tly .
say with yeah well, the accent trigger on siri go yeah maybe that yes doesn't .
whenever say sorry IT always turned yeah .
so yeah there's a barancy act, but I agree yeah, it's a little confusing that IT is developed in the sort of a separate silo from google assistant. And then I suppose at some point actually IT will be good enough that they feel like combined on to one mega new rebranded name thing, but I feel like they're .
just going .
to name this theory eventually. Yeah that's the loop we're going to .
encounter because google messenger.
I just want to read A I just want to read a quote from like the the press release that they is at me. Barred will be called gi and we're rolling out a mobile APP and geri advanced with altera one point.
Now that's not confusing at all. okay.
So to little words.
sounds like some start up event where just like I think I am, i'm too embarrass to .
ask fy way I just have theory is german ize consolation? No, yes. And we always see the stories to represent a the A I thing. yeah. Maybe that's why .
they had a reason why they call IT germany. They publicly said that, David.
why do they use the twinkle stars represent?
And going to japan to find out, oh yeah, i'm in interviewing the guy who invented the mog in japan on there.
Is you going to explain everything? I hope so. I hope that sounds sick. Okay, yeah.
I want to know how big the team I go because that just named things. Do you think there's at least one hundred employees that are just naming things? What do you think it's .
all the teams that I think it's one employee and fifteen feet tall, this giant chair and they go and and they go, o king of names, what should we named this and he goes jam and .
and I never mind, I was that was all embargoed.
We weren't a lot to say that.
So this is actually way too in the weeds and only really makes sense .
for people that we're working .
at google the time not a really fun reason why the aoc gc sign is the twins, right?
Yeah, it's land.
No, no, no. When they had google deep mind and google brain, uh, both at google the same time that we're kind of doing very somewhere task, they emerged to them there was a .
trivial question about IT.
I feel like, yeah this sounds familiar.
The merger of google uh, demand and google into just google deep mind, they called that germanic as they were emerging the twins. Just what happens in the conStellation .
and IT also is a consolation, which is stars. And now it's associated with the stars.
Bar is Better. That giant does good work.
I also love this code. The twins were the brain team, which worked on L. M, such as palm and the deep .
nineteen, which .
weren't .
worked .
on the chin.
The dog looking at a my pie .
anyway um yeah so so that be fun. And i'm i'm kind of excited that there was going to be a dedicated APP for IT, and i'm hoping that you'll be able to map that to the action button on the iphone fifteen because previously, we've been testing the board with german I capabilities bar advanced, which has geri one point now in IT, which is now anyway, all sorry, I didn't want. No, you're right.
You're right. I'm just presented we've been testing that um but you weren't able previously to launch that APP immediately with the action. But on iphone and fifty, you could only launched the google APP because the only way to actually interact with the barter advanced thing was in the google APP instead of the assistant APP. So you .
guys are all probably .
really bored right now. Wake up and let's ue .
the past the new U I school.
Yes, I like IT. It's colors. No, it's got this new.
What's the weather tomorrow? Big tax and then still .
just writing .
what you're .
right now. It's just going to write what i'm saying. But yeah, it's doing .
thing yeah and I like the stars yeah anyway, that would be that let's move on.
let's move on. Let's move on to something that also won't take forever to talk about despite one sample executives.
ves says there's no such .
thing as a .
real picture god.
And that's I can see the steam coming out.
David. Yeah I saw this headline was like, that's crazy that he just said IT and I open the average article and IT starts with the samsung VP saying there was a very nice video by mark Browney last year. I went.
don't pull me into this and so make be part .
of this but it's basically his argument is the full on philosophical what what's a picture anyway like if you expose a sensor and IT goes through algorithms to decide what to showing your screen, it's just making IT up. It's not there is no real picture, David, take a deep breath. I film .
photography is the only way to take a real photo and would say you are literally having photons just hit the silver holy Crystals and create a negative. That is, I think, the only way to take a real photo, which is based on photo does difference .
what film stocks is.
Though not really good people, you're still capturing the photons not capture.
I guess that s come out differently based on the so then would you argue that maybe only some film stock is a real photo? The add something to.
they all sound .
like like a make a real photos if you .
shoot film, and then you use an an larger to print with photo sensitive chemicals and in in larger with a bunch of light because as soon as you scan, the scanner also digitizes IT and puts IT through. Like if you use a fuji scanner versus like there's all these different scanners and they apply different look.
I feel like your argument just was the same argument that I had. But you said I was wrong.
I think you're all agreed. There is no such thing as a real photo, I think.
Then what is a photo? I just say, if there is .
the question I I.
i'm anger, you can even make the argument that .
the photo part ends as soon as IT passes through a lengths because the light would have never been focused that way. I would have just bounded off ambient's.
I just think it's only .
that i'm removing photo from the english diction.
Yeah, this is a stupid thing.
I'm not this stupid thing, say, but we used to always to say whenever we talked about a eff like what is a picture and music a come like, can you shut up with just what is a picture now the same like executive is also .
throwing that card. But I that is closing. They don't think it's a picture.
We don't think it's a picture. Nothing's a picture. It's fine. everything. This is also the same company that like plaster a moon onto the picture.
So he literally, okay.
he really quite because he said, he said, he told tecate, there is a very nice video. AmErica last on the moon picture everyone was like, is a fake, is a not fake. There's a debate around what constitutes a real picture.
And actually, there's no such thing as a real picture. You have sensors to capture something. You reproduce what you're seeing and doesn't mean anything. There is no real picture. You can try to define a real picture by saying I took IT, but there's A I auto focus is IT real or is that all filters there is no real picture?
False up that I I hope that I hires a wedding photographer at some point and he just gets back a bunch of mid jordy, happy, merry, I don't have to take this. This is a picture.
What did you hire me an to do what I pay any for? Yeah, generation that technical, the lens would change IT. But our eyes are also different lands.
Yeah.
but we are not. Yeah, but we're not taking photo.
We're not take photos. We're live in life.
We're getting a constant stream of photos. The speed at which are .
so so we can actually see is what you're saying.
Well, we see everything upside down, but our brains flip. We also see in latency also.
color doesn't exist.
It's so you now making breathing because .
everything is the.
everything is the world.
Refuse everyone you heard IT here first. Nothing is read. Is everything but right?
Commit crimes. Do IT 喂喂, 喂喂喂, wait. Okay, because, no, okay. This question don't do. You can do anything.
Having the wondering .
IT just sounds like that.
So I kind of feel like his own quote here, like kind of argues for against themselves. He like you can try to find a real picture by saying I took that picture, but if you use a ee to optimize zoom, the auto focus, the scene is a real or is IT filters, there's no real picture, full stop, the kind of sounds exchange. Well, you don't use A I or you or not to focus than IT is a real picture.
But hee's so saying, as soon as you have sensors to cap this.
also.
I love how he brings up the moon thing and then he completely diverts away from IT.
Are you believe the best man?
IT feels like he's using all these other things to basically say, like, no, that definitely was .
a real picture. yes. Photos is this? Anyway, yes.
Why you mad? actually? Basically, yes, there were never photos to begin with. So what are you so mad about? I'm just showing you the moon you're taking a picture of in the first place.
Yeah, we need to go to the next samsung event. And when they say s twenty five takes great photos, you just go, there is no such thing.
What section of reviews?
What is wikipedia define photo as i'm looking photograph OK. A photograph, also known as photo. Image or picture, is an image created by light falling on a photo sensitive surface, usually photographic film, electronic games sensor. So, like.
so just the light hitting the sensor is the photo. None of the processing pipe is created by the light.
uh, falling on the photo sensitive services .
that technically incorrect because the light hitting the sort doesn't create anything to the sensor is right a to process process .
by light fault on the photo sensitive surface. So the light IT is created by because the light falls on the C, C.
D sensor or on, nothing happens. What is I like that definition as we keep the page. I like that definition because no matter what processing the camera is doing, it's still photo.
It's still working like there. There is an input which is the light on the sensor, and then there's an output which is a file that we can see exactly with the moon thing. For example, those pixels were not informed by light hitting the sensor. They were informed by light hitting a sensor at some point somewhere else, but at point of yeah, which we have all decided, everything else, my rock, my now they only .
showed up there because of the way light was hitting the sensor.
And IT said, oh, moon, yeah but .
because of the way but that's .
a metal decision and not not an .
image IT was automatically triggered by the light hiding a sensor certain .
way that's true yeah and but here's my argument .
and we might have .
to cut this everything you .
going yeah.
An actor is on the cover of a magazine, okay, and he is super ugly, okay? Someone will photoshop him to be less ugly before. Is on the cover of that magazine.
Him being that ugly in the original picture is what triggered the decision to alter the photograph to composite IT into a new image. And it's the same thing or something in the original image triggered a composition behavior. But we would all say that's not a real photograph.
He's actually ugly, right? So that's how I feel about the moon thing. It's like, yes, you're right. Something happened at the input stage that made me do this work but because the actual image work is a composite job yeah i'm saying not photo.
which is why like OK I okay. yeah. So almost every smartphone uses multiple rame H D, R. Now, right, so having an having an image that is either too bright or too dark informs the phone to need to take multiple shots. I was .
ones. Do you just automatic skin smoothing, which is essentially the exact thing you are just talking about?
And so phones aren't pictures, so phones are not photos, but photos are real. Photos are real. Photos are real. Guys, I would say you're not a real photographer in much of your camera.
Let's we go. I welcome to the goal post podcast so many .
and I the one that love to no, I think I kind of technically agree with him in that my definition of a fort like a, you just have a light hitting a, but it's off, nothing happens. And I think the second that the sensor is on and has to turn that light information into data, IT is being processed and IT is now in the realm of no longer actually a photo, a photo. How to do we go? The wikipedia .
definition, which I think is a good one, I think it's a safe one. I going to reality a little bit, right? It's like if we go by this, that is just says an image created by light falling on a photographic surface, such as a photographic film or electronic image cancer. We can just say everything is a photo, but IT was, but like a smartphone photo was heavily altered by AI or multifunction H D. R so things are all, all things are photos, but how were they altered?
I like that. So the output isn't a photo.
Um no.
no, I can wait for the .
next version. hot.
It's an as a little watermark of stars that the the .
only the I until you to move in every photos and altered photo, unless you take IT on a real camera.
it's shoulders images.
And I actually there are altered. There aren't because of JPEG .
compression anyway.
So what we officially have got ten.
nowhere. This is a six hour post.
But we have got somewhere and that that is a stupid thing to say. Maybe I put that throughout .
one hundred. The bus like this. Oh, I feel like they're already getting ready to quote market for the .
next .
time they or don't comment .
in the comment section about what a real photo is. I think it's a .
great time to take a break.
I think I need a smoke break.
Is previous season four, season four.
zero zero zero.
Everyone is time up zero zero. First time. What is photo? First question.
What were the five? Yes, five. iphone. Five sea colors.
Oh.
you have to get all five to get a single, a single point. Wow, all enough .
proposition.
What is a color denied?
Colors aren't real. yeah.
What is your proposed?
Everything but Green? everything. But, yes, yes, yes.
Keep going. Keep going. Yes, okay, yeah. Think about that. They're all pale. I remember that because our plane plastic .
do this thing for cheap.
I stood, just stood for to see colorful and will be right.
Support for the show today comes from net sweet wondering what the future holds for the economy. So do economists and mark experts, is that a bull or a bear market? Is inflation up or down? Let's talk about we've got like two more sections that are fairly a focused unlike the last action. The last action was focused up until we did a admin job of night OK.
We was very, very second half of .
podcast. Yes, google google OS.
I I never did this.
This middle section, we can talk vision for updates because are some vision for updates already things. And it's also got an update. The main fun thing is IT fun. I don't know yeah Jerry, everything he did, his usual uh taking apart and their ability testing.
Fun fact, like one of the top comments on our video of vision pro S, I can't waight for this to be scratches at level six with deep at level seven like that was like a forty thousand like comment on our video. Turns out IT scratched at level two with deeper groups at level three. yes.
So you're trying to figure out what's going on if you watched that video. Apple does claim the vision pro has illuminated glass on the front, which is less scary, consistent but more cracis. M potentially um a kind is like a screen protector that comes preinstalled on a phone so you can and we actually have accidentally already gotten a little scratch on the outside of vision pro. Ideally, this will not affect the performance .
of the vision pro. Also update IT was actually .
scratches a .
little three with deeper ger. Nobody not just glass on the outside. It's still smudge like glass. It's still fingerprints like glass that Carrying cloth that they give you.
I think it's actually good to use IT all the time because I suspect that the sensors are trying to see through the smudge and the cleaner you can keep IT Better form me. So that's all good to know. But yeah, that outside layer is a little bit of a composite going on.
Yeah, if you scratched over those sensors, that bad. If we are talking about .
apple care for this thing and apple care for the vision process, five hundred dollars. But what IT gets you is five hundred dollars off of a replacing the outside glass. So would Normally be like eight hundred dollars, but now it's three hundred with apple care.
I guess like it's a little different. So it's five hundred dollars over two years. If you break the glass, IT cost two hundred and ninety dollars to a place.
So if you break IT one time IT costs about eight hundred dollars, which if you break IT without apple care, costs about eight hundred dollars. But it's a little Better. If you plan on breaking IT more than once, you only pay rics.
you should get up care if you plan on buying breaking and more than once.
over two years, over two years. Yeah.
the thing is and that's this is one of those new form factors for apple anywhere where I A were about to get A A lot of data and how often the thing breaks when you pick IT up. But I think a lot of people instincts to pick IT up by the light seal, but it's just a magnetically attached like light, light plastic thing yeah and if you picked up by the light so you could just drop the head, you have, like, remember to pick IT up by the medal and it's kind of weird to pick IT up by the glass on the front because, ah I think i'm smugg IT every time yeah so it's kind of an interesting learning curve there.
I would say like, well, when we have the door point on that, easy to describe the top loop because IT feels right. But yeah all the all the time i'm like about to pick up the glass. I don't want to smudge so I just pick up the light seal and then like is like starts falling .
off and catching yeah with the quest, I just grab the front. I don't care because it's just plastic on the front.
Mostly during our demo sessions, they specifically where like put your thumb in the center where the nose bridge is in, put your other fingers on the top. So on the middle, yeah you pick IT up that way and then you do that.
But it's like that really you're holding IT all .
has had specific holding instruction before I put up that way. Yeah yes. So so I watched x video. It's like the description IT is pretty iled. I would never be able to do what he does with a nice if the vision.
It's also really cool because he like saw the cloth and the screens out and like seeing the inside of IT. Even he says it's like, is very is beautiful inside is how is that? People kind of gave me .
a little bit of flag for that when I said this thing is very efficiently built. IT actually is even though, yes, IT is metal and has a lot of last, and those choices are not effery ent. But with those things that y've decided to do, the thing is tightly compact.
Maybe us humans aren't efficient enough for the glory, that is.
vision pro IT has carbon fiber, uh, magnesium, uh, multiple motorists and hinges, fans, events, glass, computers, dedicated processing shifts, RAM battery on the site. It's got a lot.
got a lot of it's a lot lighter like it's really funny so that someone bright before IT officially came out had in the on the battery, put a simple removal tool in the battery to pop out that non removable cable. And IT turns out it's like lightning plus. But I was even Better. The came the like connector that connects the headphone portion of IT to the rest of the headset is like lightning max.
So I have that max because I bought the development cable, oh yeah, which plugs directly in. So you'd have to take a sim card tray, eject whatever and plug this in to get USB outside division pro. Yeah and so yeah, i've got this giant, slightly curved lightning table and and there's just lightning everywhere. Yeah, this thing they can help themselves I love.
I saw article earlier today that I was like that says the it's a three hundred dollar .
developer shery apparently sorry.
I apparently it's only USB two also.
What why? I guess there's only going to be a number of developers that do that and they probably don't care about speeds except for us, but we're not. Del.
I mean, you're loading your APP on of the vision pro. You're like testing and be nice.
We bought IT because .
we wanted to hope that is potentially gonna. Let us feedback video in the actual fork without stuttering the device that we would like speed in terms of sending a back. I'm feeling it's not going do that.
I'm going to try. I'll keep you posted if IT works. Yeah, i'll see.
Yeah, no cases. Video, the vision problem is also pretty incredible. I ve seen that. Yeah, he like walks around new york city. And I always got a different like angle to look at vision pro.
His was just like walking around with IT and seeing people's reactions like vintage around the city and some of the scenes in video or hilarious kim in the dont shop. I don't know. This is the thing about like using the vision pro.
There are all kinds of videos now if people wandering around outside using the vision pro and they are all going viral and they're all really this stop in and um we're so screwed from behind the driver. The seventy five percent of them are either fake because you see them doing all sorts of gases that actually don't make sense in the vision pro or there just weird decisions to use IT in that place. Like I feel like we talk about this last time, I use IT half in the same sort of time that I would have using ipad.
Like there's a the other guy crossing the street like moving windows around, like I wouldn't be on my ipad crossing the street, but you could in the vision problem so they're doing anyway. Casey has the scene where he is in like a donut shop and he like loads up the dinosaur mo, which comes preinstalled and literally like, has the butterfly land on a dona. And he cuts back and forth like him with this incredibly immersive experience in the dinosaurs, a butterfly landing on a dona, and they cut the outside. And those people like washing a guy, like like holding a donor, like IT doesn't look, it's calories.
I want to love the video. I want to know how love .
his volume is on that because very.
I love a captain disillusion at a tweet about somebody using IT on the subway and he said, went out in public, and someone glenis at me for a microsecond long. I rush a track. If maybe a strength of hair is slowly out of place. I could .
never do this where vision problem public is a choice, is a choice. I have been very vocal about my desire ties on plane. I have to admit there's a little part of me that's a little worried about what that looks like yeah but I want to do anyway.
I think that IT will become Normalized. You know I think Normal ize is not in public like the in on the plane yeah yeah yeah because you .
have an ipad on the plane or ipad in random places, not fine.
Yeah I don't think I will be yeah I will not be Normalized as they like walking around. They were seeing people, especially because you have like if you actually want windows to do anything, you have to pinch them and bring them with you. Or is this is so literally makes no sense.
People have been like, this is the only product where I can legitimately lose virtual displays about my house. Where did I leave that? There was this really funny viral photo where that was like, oh, that's where I left IT and youtube was .
just in in front of the toilet.
Exactly what happens.
And IT stays there. IT stays there, which is incredible. It's a future. Yeah IT is a feature because a lot of people like the idea is throughout your house in different like media centers, like in front of your computer hub, you've got certain maps and then sitting on the couch you've got a giant screen like where your TV might be.
And for that kind of use gates, that's pretty cool that you can just use one headset to like replace a lot of products. Yeah, IT is only in isolated device that you cannot enjoy with anyone else in your life. So if you're lonely and said, like me, maybe it's a great product, but rever else .
might be problem. I have a bunch of things that i've been coming to my mind over the past couple days that I think I may turn into a video, which is what I think would be the best things to improve for the next vision problem. I don't think it's going to be a early product necessarily.
We got airports max like years ago. We're still waiting for the second. I think vision pro is going to live for a little while before we see the next once. But for the second vision pro, one of the things you talking about shared experiences, I think that would be such a natural and enormous advantage for apple, is to make everyone with vision prows be able to share experiences with each other ah to be able to look at the same object in the same room. Now you might not think that's particularly useful, but let's say i'm in an office in california and someone else is in an office in mexico and we both open the same three object in front of us and we manipulated and show up to each other just that connecting uh of the same thing would be like huge.
I was surprised that that so far, not really I think right. That's one of the like the comments i've seen the most is just like cool that has a lot of these other things in super wall, like my quest three, I can go visit someone who's nowhere near me and we can do something together. And that's cool. Part of V, R.
What's that something room? There's a something room room room is hilarious, but it's the fundamental purposes. You are in the same room as someone else wearing the r yeah they're ilaria.
There are super funds. So like that i'm shocked that that doesn't this vision problem. There's another APP of sky guide, which is like all the consultation in the sky, they have a laser point of future.
So I can like point at the lasers and like shown in the sky, like known can at the point of the laser nobody else can see. Yeah exactly. So that's like my number one. Number two is you can leave windows around your house. For example, when you pack up the vision pro and bring IT to a new place like, let's say, your office, you can start opening windows again, and they will disappear from your house and open in the new place. So I have safari open at home, and I go home, sorry.
So if I have so far open at home and I open up a window and I put youtube in front of the toilet, and then I drive to the studio, and I opened IT up and I opened up to furry, it's still there, and I need to either grab that window from there or try some other things. So I want to be able to have saved environments where the pins load back up, where I was angry, so I can come back home. At the end of the day, even though I use safari at the office, it's youtube stop and they .
like expecting that you're only going to use in one space, which is kind of silly.
Yeah did you replace escape to or I think skate three at the same mechanic and either those, uh, x box games, you could drop your board and just like round around on your feet to like climbing tours and stuff like that. And no matter where you are in the game, like you could leave your board miles away if you hit one of the triggers.
stick out your and .
that's what we yes.
no, that's what happening that happen that what are summer? What I want to do is be able to leave board and then having a new skate board for this new part and then go back to where the old skate board was. And it's .
right to get home .
immediately, loaded up the home environment, and then all the windows are where I wanted to be in my home. And then when you get to the studio.
I loads IT up in there in the, I just find that funny, that I now also have to clean up my virtual world as well as my actual house.
You can, hey s close everything, and then will, and then your life, and then everything closes, including you be .
when the shy and I .
feel the views of shrinking. No, yeah, I so those are my two big vision pro like feature requests that I think would make a massive difference to the way people use vision problem. There's all starts of other little things.
I want to feel of you to be right, and I want to the way. sure. But you know, I think that might be a video we end up putting together .
yeah it's truly wild to me that they don't have more share play stuff yeah because IT seems insane that they could easily be like, oh, we both have an eighty inch T V now that we could just like watch together, but we don't actually have to have a there.
The closest thing is face time does let you share your view, because obviously can't hold things up to your camera. When is your persona? So you can hit this button where IT shares your view, and then throw a window you can see the first persons view of what the front of that person's vision process. So that's just like the regular you do that on my phone ds because it's on your face. So that's kind of cool, but it's not what we are hoping.
I feel like that's missing like clear. Let's both watch this movie together and I watched in that and then I give heard an ipad that showing what I and just .
watched the family good. And then you could set up what apps people could automatically see. So like if you were OK with your partners seeing what you've had opened on safari or whatever, you could just say they can always see my safari windows floating. But then if you had another APP that you didn't want them to see when they walked by.
they wouldn't see IT. Yeah yeah. The thing about vision pro and many other apple devices, as apple does not want you to share them, they want you to and that's the most like ipad thing ever.
They don't have multiple profiles on the ipad and there .
is the most the yeah and I think the vision problem will forever be that also as long as apple doing apple. Thanks, hateful h. Anyway, there is an update to some of the software is still in beta, but there is a developer update to the vision pro. I don't need .
to know if the O S is the main thing .
that people noticing is is improving the personas a little bit. I look at the before and after something are posting and IT doesn't look that different to me. yeah.
But this is the one thing that is so notably in beta that people are keeping an eye how the persons over time. So it's evolving over time. IT has begun. They're going to continue to make these look, I imagine, slightly more realistic and slightly more complete over and over and over time. But is one point now, one point one, okay, yeah, but still beta.
yes. Yeah yeah there's that and also, uh before this one point one update, if you forgot your vision pro password, you were just bound like there is nothing you can do yeah so but now they have a way to reset the vision pro. If you forget your password, do your iphone or just like on, i'm not sure I know you yeah I have .
I have um what's the I D called in opt c idea? I have that. But every time you boot IT up, you do you need to put in your password your pass code yeah so that's get to IT vision for updates. Everybody is happening.
Another update I would love for the vision pro is to never see IT on my social feeds over because for the last week, um there has been no other content.
And i'm really we say that as we talk .
about the visions. Nice little combo. Break up for your feet. Thank you. I got you. I needed right.
We do have a whole other section that is totally focused after the break. So before we get into that, let's to trivia. I think I should makes that pause longer .
and longer .
every time I forget into IT. Trivia and I have you seen, okay, so the N B A, sorry, yeah N B A highlights the guy who voices over the N B A 点 com highlights everyday on the gator。 Yes, he's got this like incredible style where he like says, and you here, i'll just play an example, he'll go over the NBA highest for the day and at the end of every video he says and that spend your NBA I M top ten and people started noticing, he started saying IT faster and faster every single time.
Jr, favor, with a big smash. Number one on the N.
B, A.
gods got more ranged than a salt tower watching go off the glass with less to send the game into O, T, russia westbound. Number one on the A.
We're doing the opposite of that. But he does go come.
Why only does that for himself? But I love that. Wow, all right, I remember epic.
Yeah.
that's very way.
I like doing different things little brighter because .
David was singing.
oh.
so that's literally why. Uh, oh, nice.
All right, trivia. And just because I want to kick off the season with a bang, we're going to make this question worth three, three points. Let's go. are.
you.
That would be a good place. let.
So, okay, yes, there is, yes, three points. Yes.
three points. The same sung, one of the bigger companies in the world can have its name translated into english as three stars. Each one of those stars represents .
something. Go what just sent.
That's IT. Three things we .
all can. Three things.
the, the.
and I don't.
Okay, wow, this is a real.
I had to of the question really fast. And no.
I have, I love this will be back at this. Hi, let's go.
Okay, right back we.
Support for the show comes from the crucible moments, a podcast from the coia capital. We've all had turning points in our lives where the decisions we make end up having lasting consequences. No one knows this Better than the founders of some of today's most influential, incredible moments.
Lets listen ers in on the maker break events that defined major companies like dropbox, youtube, Robin od and more told by the founders themselves. Tune in the season two of crucial moments. Today, you can listen at crucial moments.
Stop com wherever you listen to podcasts. I welcome back to the wave form podcast. You might hurt the evy in my voice.
There I did. We've got three evs that have major, interesting stories about them that we should talk about. They are portion I can live in and test a cyber truck.
Where should we start? Do you want to flow after decided coin?
A pyramid, wait, yes.
adam, at four sides. Well, but A D three is pym ID shaped.
And what the the base doesn't count.
River in r two. River in r two. Oh, okay.
thanks three other .
day review, our two is pretty sick. Okay, we don't actually know anything about IT, but the idea of IT is pretty sick, right? So we got this announcement march seventh.
We are going to learn something about this next of the platform. But this entire time, and we have interviewed R J. On this podcast before and talked about IT is river.
River has been very clear that the revision r one t and r one s are built on the r one platform and they are the most capable, most premium vehicles. And they are planning to do a less expensive, still capable, but possibly slightly smaller or two platform. That's all we know.
We know nothing about the vehicles will be on the platform or any the details. And march seventh, we're going to find out some of that stuff. And i'm excited. I all excited.
Have a question. I am very excited. Um did he specifically say smaller? And I tell you why I am asking .
that's a good question. I would have to double check. He might not explicit said smaller.
but is so I can speculate on solar. And so I had an ticket. The art platform is expected to start the smaller S U V, but then said, reportedly about the size of a great jeep grand turkey, which grand Cherry y compared on r one s is barely very similar sized.
The wagon is the big one.
You still the jeep grand?
K i'll pull up. You've in the car. I three o IT, I don't .
think IT is, but it's still fairly big. Have you ever been on cars? You know, cars strait? Yes, really awesome. I have been to where you can .
put two cars .
and they go change and you .
grow up in joy. I'm wondering if england .
meant a just a Cherry Y A jeep turkey which is smaller and more closer to make a forest which is I want so bad um but a river in or the big difference you might .
be three OS or is two OS.
So that's what I wonder because I am hoping IT doesn't get that large.
Yeah so the r one, ask if you seen a review. IT is three rows and IT is a wonderful vehicle. But let's be real. The third row is very small, but they jammed three rows into IT.
That's a very similar site. IT is similar.
but you got a couple inches off and it's two rose and now you have two Normal for size rose and a big trunk yeah which I think is what a lot of people also.
So that's what i'm wondering like if it's just like less capable version, you would still be very similarly sized but maybe doesn't have triple motor and max battery pack and like all these crazy like crawling features and like of voting and what not, which I hope it's more of us just smaller version.
I think that's what R G means by less capable like the r one t right now, the flagship launch edition. This thing is a great motor, eight hundred horse power pick up truck. That's a cherkis.
Yeah, that's a lot smaller. Yeah, yeah, that's a different class of vehicle. yeah. I think I think what he means by less capable is you could easily go single or do motor.
You can go less horsepower, you can go less crazy tire set up, you can go even less crazy. Features like the thing has a flashlight on the door and a blue tw speaker under the armrest, and all search of other things. And he was clear mostly about them wanting to keep the adventuress of IT so they might choose to. But some of the fun fills that make IT character for the headlights, the front trunk. Etta, but yeah, it'll be be bouncing act for them to like cut corners that meaningfully reduce the cost but don't meaningful ly reduce the character.
That's why I think you would aim towards smaller size because like if the rumor seems to be forty to sixty and I feel like if you have something that only a couple inches smaller and that big that's much cheaper. Or maybe that rumors is totally wrong. Forty.
sixty is interesting. Like when I look at their range right now, they're like model S N X Prices with their flagships. So to go down to forty to sixties right around model three mother, why? So maybe I felt i'm shaking myself out.
So what I want this to be. And what .
about IT? Yeah, I would love like a suburb outback style car or a sedan as I am a city dollar. And unfortunately, I don't think that's happening until the third .
generation would in that is similar I would I think just this well yeah I think of force I know force or even more so .
would be like .
and still quiet .
yeah smooth life stories I would like that that's i'm looking for yeah yeah .
so the way .
that um there was a leak about the day that the event was going to happen, that was very hilarious. There is a town board meeting that happened in a sana Monica. I believe IT was um whatever .
they are having a caliza showroom.
That's not what happened but or I mean, that's not how they found out about the r two platform. Oh, oh, sorry, I I I was just .
saying that that's like where they do all there and stuff and there's like groups spent a lot of summers in looking to beach. I know the area very well. There's this movie theatre that had been there since the sixties and everyone really loved IT.
And then riviere IT had changed hands a few times. Riviere eventually bought IT. They were like, oh, that's cool. You're going to like, have a riviere branded movie theater and then they're like.
so it's a deal ship. But ah they had a town like a city hall meeting. And one of the things on the meeting list was that they had to approve the r two launch event because they're going to be parking some r two vehicles on the grass. And so they had this document that just said, like riving r two launch event, yeah, riva had not said anything, but the town .
hall notes .
are public. So really funny.
It's a funny look on IT. no. yeah. Never you never know whose maybe some random person who works for the town is gonna like.
wait too, right? Someone there would probably like.
no, no, look, the beach is like when you're on the everyone there is very wealthy and everyone there loves EV. So it's it's the only place i've ever been where like like i'd say like sixty to seventy five percent of cars on the roads are electric air wo and and it's all like the rare ones like the what's the Brown one, Lucy? Yeah, you see a lot of Lucy Brown.
That was the best .
way of describing .
a Lucy ever long key country and tesla.
every time i'm in the southern california, every other car is a tesla. Yeah generally a model wire .
model x we get from cali.
but not that's going to be prime r two await.
So speaking of premium movies, there's two others we want to talk about yeah .
thai can or cyberia .
c OK alright yes, those I can face lift yeah i'm really .
excited about this. I can't afford IT, but I really excited about that anyway.
The I can, we already knew, was precious premium E V sedan. Um it's still expensive. It's still going to start like one hundred six grand, something like that. But I got a face lift which has new, more efficient, higher mileage and faster models, and they charge way faster, which is really impressive.
I mean, if you find the charger that will support this exact thing, which they said they're like installing of court installing, uh, the details are there is a new the base I can uh, which now has a seventy nine year. I think that's the same size is seventy nine at our battery on the small land. But there's a ninety three kilo, our option and one hundred and five kilo hour option.
And so you now well over three hundred estimated miles. I think the turbo s is three hundred ninety miles of range, I believe is a number. And also does there are six and two point three seconds and has up to nine hundred forty horsepower.
Holy still.
Do a motors still a tie can still looks almost the same as like one or two air dynamic bit that's different. But also, the charging curve for these new batteries, thanks to new cooling, is crazy high. I think they get up to three hundred twenty kilowatts and they stay at three hundred twenty kilowatts for not just the first two seconds of charging but for a long duration of charging.
So we're seeing something like uh zero to eighty percent in eighteen minutes and that's zero yeah to eighty you imagine you pull up with like twelve percent you want to charge up to fifty percent. Roque k that's like plug in, go buy a snack and good. So that's exciting.
That's the type of innovation we hope to see with evie. Again, they don't build their own charging network. You're probably gonna get those speeds through an adapt or at a tesla super juger.
That's just the the realist, the real miss, the real you wrapping. That's just the real situation. But yeah, no, i'm i'm excited about the new parade and new batteries.
Can I say something about this? Yeah right. If apple put out a version of the iphone that was called the iphone solar and then I didn't have solar panels on IT, but we're just like not just like a vibe thing, like sort like felt like like a solar. We would all be like that's a lie. You're a liar and i'm .
upset IT would only be OK if they already had products in their line up with the word solar .
in IT that had solar petals, right? That would make IT even worse if they put out one called solar that .
didn't have solar. I see you know what i'm going.
I know. Why the heck are we all going to let them call electric car at turbo s?
Do they not already have a car? Because turbo in portiers lineup just means fast.
insane.
But turbo, for the longest time in poor tie language, means the fastest one.
I going to make this a short point, but I just want to eat you. Calling something that's naturally aspirated turbo is one thing. Calling something that is not aspirated whatsoever is pretty.
What does aspirated mean?
Just an engine that yeah does not have turbo charges, that force induction from a turbo charger. Shoving air into IT oah turbo means fast, right?
Couple fun things about this car. Uh, one IT is finally going to have the more integrated car play, which is they say is more integrated and more immersive. So actually seeing one of these is going to be awesome. And I think that would be really great to get one in for review just to play .
with the car play imaging, just a vision pro just drops down. Like the breathing things .
in the plane yeah um also there's going to have an option to have this new push to pass button which for ten seconds gives you a six seventy kilo up boost. So if you're passing someone .
on the highway, IT becomes much r they done make that sounds push boring, but then you can call IT the turbo without having to worry about having actual turbo. IT should be they should have just like backroom and nice, and then call IT .
the nice but made the more .
I think about IT and that we are talking about this with miles, the more I think about IT like this is clearly the turbo s of this new refresh is the model lest plaid competitor yeah. The more I think about IT, the more I think this is going to stratify the tesla people and untested people because I think the plant is still gonna beat this in a straight line ten times at a ten.
But on a track, obviously, this will smoke IT because it's a portion I can handle and it's later and all the other stuff and cooling for long laps will keep you a full power longer. But I think full power on this, in Normal event, driving will be very similar to the west. I can to s, which is really fast.
yeah. But the plant is, this has this superpower where you can drive around fether footed for a while in flat mode and then you just decide you want to pour and you stop IT and you don't need next to button, you don't need a different mode, you just take off yeah. And that I think is still going to be true. It's just a totally different Price.
is very handy for passing people. It's super hand. You have to press button now to be able to use.
I think that fun that is fun. It's even more fun in a gas car, I will say because .
the courts.
you drive around mooing around like two thousand A P M, and nothing exciting is happening. And then you want to do a pass and you press the button and the engine just picks the highest R, P, M with the most talk and suddenly are .
basically driving evy IT would only be more fun if I had, like a plastic cover. They had to flip up. Dick, very lambo though. Yeah, yeah, sorry, say.
you know, the taken has that the pride doesn't a full .
steering .
wheel that's actually .
not has the right?
No, yeah, yes. The plate, I think less is more. Yeah, the pads is gonna be heavier.
It's going to have a large IT has triple motors. IT has a slightly larger batter capacity and it's a tesla. So it's a different product also. Wait, we don't know if this is any C S, right?
We don't know which is something I was very, very, very interested in because that changes a lot. Big new charges. If I were you, I would change a lot. Of course.
i'm just thinking this new charging curve has got to be through certain charges. And I wonder what those charges are. If there are things like there are regular ccs, yeah because I left for amErica has during a beauty killed church out there right now and they'll give the car through in a fifty s as long as fast for IT. That's not so if I want to go do a road trip and i'm just using tesla super charges, I think that's still an adapter, which I don't even know if you can get adapter from portion. A lot of questions unanswered to still.
I would say yes. Quick question. We were talking before about zero to eighty percent in eighteen minutes. Was there not like the the key and hangers were getting pretty wild numbers on chargers as well, like not that far often, if not the same. So yes.
OK, I think that's the crazy thing. These are much bigger batteries that are eight person. So like I think the ironic, even like a really great.
specially remember eighteen minutes.
yes, I had a really high peak charging and IT IT would Spike up three fifty kilowatts. But in such more battery, three fifty kilowatts will get you eighty percent prety quick, where I don't think you're getting three hundred fifty miles out of an iconic I think this three hundred ninety miles range like that's really that's got the magic of IT.
Um IT also has much Better recruit ation. Does recruitment mean? So IT says that he previously was two hundred and ninety kilowatts and now it's four hundred kills sick. Doesn't that seem like sane about the .
power IT is I remember breaking in the humeri V V, and seem like a hundred fifty kilts. That a lot. So that's that's all portion engineering. That's all electrical.
What portion does is when you hit the brake pedal in the car, that's when IT starts the region and IT feels just like your present the friction bricks. It's very, very good. You can do one pel driving in a pose.
Uh, you can have a little bit of lift off region, but I don't know if they have A A one pilot driving mode, but was fun because they wanted to drive like a Normal gas car to rest their cars. But when you when you get past the two hundred and whatever kilowatts of region breaking on the break, patton, then IT starts to blend in. The friction breaks as well. So hearing that this will do four hundred kilowatts, I can probably slam on the bricks and i'm i'm getting all the energy that which is awesome.
Yes, I guess that is handy because um usually when I like take off enough to slow down really fast. The first thing that hits in my brain is, man.
i'm wasting my road generate exactly, exactly so I feel like you'll see a little dial. Well, you you come on the brakes really hard and you'll still see you're just getting all the energy back.
my you getting pulled over and the cops like, sir, you're really aggressively breaking a bunch and just just region .
IT is that yeah and I think I I want to know if this this will have one poor driving this walk, I be sick that can .
we can we test something with this really good region? Can we go to the top of a hill, get your battery level coasts all the way down the hill, slam on the breaks at the stop at the end, and see if you have more power than you started with you?
Should I think if you literally slam on the brakes? No, but I think you can be heavy on the brakes for a long time. Yes, and be recruiting ating all that energy.
There's a insurance is co there this um near like mission mission peaks and super steep yeah there's like this super steep hill. And well, there's a lot of super steep sales. But I remember seeing a post from someone in like a model y like a few months ago where they started at the top of there with about twelve percent. And by the time theyve got .
to the body.
rove by amy was a longer drive but we we drove the model three down out of the 是 got the name of the highway but some highway gel and yeah and we ended up with like ten percent more .
than we bigger .
dv as well。 The cybercrime um mostly because people have been out in the real world living with IT and owning a non clear coated stainless steel truck for a little while and IT seems like IT is actually prone to some small rest spots. If you get like debris stuck your car for a while.
I guess I don't know exactly how it's working, but I see so it's very similar to if you have like a stainless steel girl that's outside even with the cover IT is to be going to get rest spots on. And i'm sure that this steel is Better than the still being made from those girls, but is very there's pictures out there, which is also very funny.
There's a lot of forms where this is out there and there, just like your liar, this isn't real, like defending IT to the tea. But stainless steel can still rust. IT does not mean that is completely printed or like IT is never going to rest. It's going to rest less, but still can causal resorts that look terrible and you should be very careful cleaning IT, I guess? Or just like the peta.
I just .
can say.
is that exactly like what now .
is trying to .
make a joke because you can say .
what is good there.
A lot people .
said stein less not stain proof.
I just like how IT doesn't stop the rip.
but it's stop the rip. exactly. no. IT also fingerprints at times like we've got, we had IT for a day, and there were a tones of ferringhall.
IT cannot be an interesting looking ck. This is all time easy decision. You should IT tesla to offer raps like you should be able to get a rap. They do offer one.
This as well.
I think so. Oh, well, this is physically easier vehicle to rap because it's flat. yeah. And you could probably do IT yourself for us as little money as possible. It's just gonna be so much Better looking.
I feel like once IT gets dirty and turnaround h though it's gonna amazing possibly if you get going to look the very beginning and like after at the but like that whole um I wish we had one here to drive around and just get like all the sault and all the crap on new jersey roads like if you guys saw the rose rose video and you mad at me for not cleaning IT, that's just what IT looks like when you drive places in new jersey in the winter so that on a truck we didn't look sick. Maybe I feel like I would look sick. maybe. T B, D, there are none a new jersey so we have .
to find out yeah, okay ah they offer a color paint film for six thousand dollars in semitic way or self black .
actually six grand is a little steep for just like is not usually what a rap cost yeah, but it's a solid color and it's from the factory and it's like the easiest you could get that done for less yeah true. I think true anyway um okay, well, that's all we .
had for the .
wave section. I get dirty of the rusks were bad and you want a White truck I have not a bad news where it's not going .
to go out of wrapped black cybernetic and is like, oh yes.
stealthy no, I know who I am. There is a great tweet.
I this might be the most delusional to we have ever seen as like, you could pull up with a cyber truck to the valley at a five star hotel. And I just wouldn't look weird, is the only truck you could do that with.
And I like, why are talking when .
they say five star, they mean like super fancy.
like it's the only truck you could pull up to a value service at a nice hotel and IT wouldn't .
look out of place if you pulled up to an insane as well. There's nowhere that .
I what is that like? IT looks expensive because it's so like the spoken. strange. And so pulling up to a nice hotel in an expensive, but spokesman, ange, car is more Normal than pulling up to a very fancy hotel in a one fifty. Yeah, that's the part of that.
The highest. N F. One fifty, like a hundred thousand dollars?
Yeah.
I do. Yeah, I know that I agree with David, but I don't want to agree.
I am .
really, I reluctantly.
Pretty .
fireplace. So an expensive take car.
Yeah, I just have to look at somewhat unique. You're right. The rose is calling him the hammer. E, V, never .
asking .
a into the .
parking area. Driver, crua. Car, no. He said, IT though, right? what? And with this, I parked, I went to an apple briefing for the vision pro couple weeks ago, and I drove into the city and I drove the river.
An, and I almost regretted IT, but I did find parking and the little valley parking lot and I parked there and I gave the guy of keys and he parked IT. And when I came back from the briefing, I saw another revision and are one s and he was Green and set up another rival. He like, god, yeah, I love these things, man.
But do these are the fastest reversing vehicles i've ever driven? I do. I crash this thing reversing? Not that longo, it's crazy. I like, wow.
I didn't have mind. And then he's like.
anyway, here's your keys. I like one over and like, inspected the crap out of my car. Anyway, you want the test bed for a good time? Yeah, good times.
But I can. Volt IT is a very fast reversing IT is the fastest reversing car have ever driven thing. Guess you're wondering, are two Better also be fast.
versing. All right, it's time. Be so quick update on the score. Nothing.
everyone's got zilch.
H and guarding from scratch, all right. First.
like, good.
What were the first five iphone five sea colors? And I need all of the colors that were released for the gone primary are not like specifying what type of agreement was exactly. I just what was the color and you have to get off five or you don't get the point.
That's what can .
take your tag and you don't look so confused. I feel like this once a give me just give me what's .
getting any five of anything right perfectly is a lot five numbers to in order?
Yes, zero .
one.
two program .
for correct. Live in read woo. Oh, David, what you ve got, I read pink.
correct? Green, correct? Blue, correct. Yellow, yeah. Orange.
wrong.
Because I don't have pink.
I don't .
have pink.
You can also have a market. I said, Green, yes. Yellow, yes. Blue, yes. Pink lash flash h Simon.
wait was right. I have wait.
Yes.
I have orange, orange, not pink, so .
pink. Yeah, for the sea, yes. Yeah right. Why is every goal score update score?
Yeah, everybody else.
i'm Carrying the one.
So to be fair, enjoy. Everyone else to score is in a superposition between one and three. But I guess between .
and two, one, one, four, no, there, between.
We have one. Because you have to answer the next question, which is worth .
up to three points.
Question number two, samsung can be translated into three stars. What do each of those stars stand for?
Why would I know this?
I can't believe a samsung P, R person hasn't mentioned this to you.
I was sure that also, it's worth three points of recu brains.
one for each.
or three total, one for each. Not doing the, not doing the difficult thing yet this early in the season.
All right, what do we got with this?
I mean, this company's pretty old.
No, no, i've got this wrong.
I'm so wrong. They definitely, it's like tender, who was like a playing card company before they were a video game.
They in nineteen century.
alright.
go.
Oh, we went kind of closer.
Are you change? All good.
Uh, I wrote earth, water, air.
It's actually fire, fire, fire.
I wrote .
household, mobile, personal.
yeah. I wrote computers, life and convenience.
Sorry guys, IT is something big, something numerous and something powerful.
what? What this question alist I I.
I got .
fooled by a fake server. I think the can .
you explain this?
No, what is this? I look just up thirty five seconds ago.
So computer, so we all learnt something today and that is that i'm one interview with by one .
point and .
correct market .
