Motoko Sentinels, a new collection on the Bioniq Marketplace, saw increased trading volume following the Bitcoin halving despite a significant overall volume dip in the ordinal market. The Bioniq marketplace operates on the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP), a network intertwined with Bitcoin, which can keep transaction costs low. The ICP aims to emulate traditional cloud service AWS and is improving Web3 integrations, a feature called "chain fusion". When integrated with Bitcoin at the protocol level, it effectively facilitates developers’ construction of ordinal marketplaces. Despite initial technical challenges, the platform has made improvements in its user experience. The Motoko Sentinels project will allow dispatching unique NFTs on missions to accumulate experience and 'level up.' Currently, there are three inscribed Motoko Sentinels with a trading volume of 3.75 and a floor price of 0.002 or approximately $127.
