众所周知，婚姻和爱情是两个人之间的事，第三者就是其他的人，所以 the other man 和 the other woman 也是第三者。

little people不是人很少

little people 平民；侏儒；小精灵

little 最常见的意思是少量的，但是 little people 不是这里人很少。其实，little people 也是一个固定短语，真正的意思是平民和侏儒。

little 有幼小的意思，little people 既可以形容一个人身份地位低微，也表示身材矮小，所以 little people 就是平民和侏儒的意思。

此外，little people 和 fairy 的意思一样，都是小精灵。
