In the search for answers Brittani retraces the last year of Braileigh’s life. As Braileigh struggled to find her path after high school, she ran into the typical young adult growing pains. Then on New Year’s Eve their family changed forever. Brittani and her father, Gary, recount the story of the agonizing aftermath of the tragedy.  

Resolution for a tragedy of this magnitude could never be singular, and this is a grief that the family will always carry. But it is in that grief that Brittani becomes who she is today, a fierce protector of the women who come into her orbit.
