I have received a lot of requests over the past year or so for meditations that will help you focus. Perhaps your brain, like mine, sometimes feels like I have 30 tabs open and I'm constantly toggling between one or the other. And when we do that, it is so hard to actually move forward. So
The intention of this meditation is to help you clear away all of the tabs that you don't need and bring your attention fully into the task at hand. Close your eyes and bring yourself inside. Connect with your breath and let it slow you down. Ease into its circular rhythm in and out, letting each inhale
come a little deeper and each exhale flow a little longer. Imagine every breath in is gathering up all those tasks and thoughts crowding your mind. Imagine it gathering up all that frenetic energy bouncing around, clearing your body and clearing your mind. Imagine that every breath out takes those thoughts
takes that energy and extracts it all from you, releasing it into the space around you. Breathe in and clear, breathe out and release over and over again as your body softens and your mind clears with every breath out.
Now, see if you can find the places within you where those pockets of energy live. Maybe that energy is frantic and fast and impatient. Or maybe that energy is tired and slow. See if you can locate where that energy is living in your body. Now, take a big, deep breath.
Imagining the air flowing right into these spaces, gathering up all that energy, and then let your exhale carry it all out, releasing it into the space around you, leaving you lighter and spacious inside. Your mind is clear, your body is soft, and the energy inside of you is calm.

of your energy. Breathe and feel yourself control it, guiding it with gentle hands in the direction of your desires. Like a lighthouse keeper pointing your light in a specific direction, your focused energy pours out and illuminates all within its reach. What are you shining your light on?
Feel all your energy flow in this focused direction. Now imagine your finger now touching your heart, spreading its soothing light all throughout your body. Everything within you is clear. Everything within you is calm. Namaste.
