I hope this finds you really well. Welcome to Meditation Monday. Oh my goodness. It feels like a lifetime since the last week's meditation. How does that happen? I hope you are doing well. I hope you pressed play and just immediately felt a little breath of fresh air, a little more calm. We're going to be doing a pretty special meditation, a very specific meditation today. There are times that we...

Get turned inside out and upside down and times when we're not our best selves times when we are our most amazing selves and And in order to truly create the life that we really desire and the life that we want and the life that we deserve It requires us making some big decisions It requires us doing hard things. It requires us taking a stand for who we are what we want um and

knowing that we can change and adapt and do all that sort of stuff at any time. So today's meditation is going to be a meditation that you can do before you do the hard thing. So I'm asking you right now to...

imagine something that's in front of you right now that's the hard thing. A decision, a situation, a task that feels a little insurmountable. And you might know what this is because perhaps you have been avoiding it. I don't know what that's like. And in avoiding it, it continues to consume your energy. It continues to really like be very, very present in your energy. So

This meditation is for that moment when you know you need to do the hard thing and you're still scared, overwhelmed, unsure. You have all of those emotions going and that's okay. So this is what we're going to do. The main premise of this meditation is that I'm going to take you through a guided visualization to actually...

visualize the best case scenario that's on the other side of this hard thing. So oftentimes we are obsessed with everything that can go wrong, you know, in us dancing with this hard thing and us taking action on this hard thing. We are so obsessed with all of the angles of everything that could possibly happen. And it's a lot of energy that we oftentimes really don't need to spend. So today's meditation is going to get you ready for

to look that hard thing in the eyes with love, with faith, with a sense of deep stability with ourselves.

and with the best of intentions and energy to visualize the best possible case scenario so we can tell the universe that that is the vibration that we are in. Okay? So my hope is that after this meditation you can go do the hard thing, either shortly after or sometime in the near future so that you can continue this energy and you can bring that energy to the hard thing. If you're in a place where you can, I want you to go ahead and close your eyes.

See if you can adjust yourself to get into a comfortable position. Maybe uncross your legs. Maybe shake yourself out a little bit. Shaking out your arms. Stretching your neck. Despite what you may believe, you don't have to have a completely straight back. I want you to find something comfortable. A position where you can ease in and then bring your attention to your breath as you sink in deeper.

Now perhaps even thinking about this idea of what this heart thing is, perhaps you can actually feel your heartbeat go a little faster. Perhaps you notice that your mind is moving a little faster. All of that is okay. Just recognize it. See if you can imagine yourself giving yourself the most tender hug as you take a deep breath and exhale into comfort.

Letting each exhale out, soften you and clear you. Now I want you to go ahead and imagine that whatever this hard thing is, is right in front of you. Maybe it's floating in a nice little bubble. You can see the scene right here. I just want you to look at it with open eyes.

If you're having a visceral or physical reaction, if you're feeling stressed, if you're feeling worried, if you're feeling sad, whatever those emotions are, just breathe them out as you continue to look at this hard thing. Eyes wide open, bravely being here with it.

And as you breathe away any of the emotions or meaning attached to this, see if you can feel your feet root solidly into the ground. Like a tree's roots growing deeper and more stable into the earth. And see if you can feel the sternness, the strength of those roots as they run all the way through your body, reminding you of your strength

Reminding you of who you are. Reminding you of your divinity and your power. Nothing can break you. Be here in this energy for just a bit. Feel the coexistence of this strength, this toughness, this rootedness, this centeredness within yourself. Maybe even a little tingly sensation throughout your body as you come into presence with God.

you and the full realization of who you are, the remembering of who you are. Let this energy move through you like electricity, sparking you, making you come alive fully into you, the perfectly imperfect soul that is you. If there's any blame or shame or negativity that arises of doubt,

Let it all go. Let forgiveness dissolve it away as you come back to your very strong center. Now, I want you to come back to this scene, this hard thing right in front of you. And I want you to take a few moments to visualize the best case scenario that could possibly happen as you engage with this hard thing.

As you do what you know you need to do, what is the best thing that could possibly happen? Let your mind be creative. There are no boundaries here. There are no rules. Just imagine anything that could possibly happen, all in your favor, all for your good.

It doesn't matter how far-fetched it might seem. Let all those thoughts go and continue to visualize the best outcome. Feel the warmth in your body affirming this outcome. Let every cell in your body believe in this outcome. Believe you are deserving of it. Believe that it's already here for you. All you have to do is take a brave step

into the hard thing. Now go ahead and place your hand on your heart and see if you can feel that strength in here. See if you can feel that rootedness, that sense of centeredness, the knowing of who you are and that nothing can break you and that you are more than capable of doing the hard thing. Take a deep breath in.

And exhale and release. Coming back to your breath and back to this moment with me as you open your eyes. I don't know about you, but I am feeling warm tinglies all throughout my body right now. How are you feeling? How is that for you?
