I feel like it's been ages since we saw each other. I feel like it's been ages since we did our last meditation. How is your life feeling? Is it feeling like it's going by fast? Is it feeling like there's been a lot? Is it feeling like there is a lot for you to hold right now?

Is it feeling like it's in slow motion? How is it feeling? For me, to give you some context, we are officially in summer schedule, which is really challenging. With my kids home full time, my little one just walked here as we were beginning.

It's really challenging for me because I don't tend to be good at multitasking. I'm good at one thing, focusing on that one thing, and then I stop that one thing and then I do the next. That means when I'm working, I'm working. When I'm mommying, I'm mommying. I don't do a good job doing both. So that's me. So it's been a challenge, but here we are. So how are you doing today? How's your heart? How are you feeling? How's your energy?

There's a lot going on, right? There's a lot going on in the world right now. A lot going on in the big world, a lot going on in your world. So I really, when I was thinking about what our meditation should be today, what came to me was that I really feel like it's so important for you and I both to remember that we're not alone. And it can be really easy to feel alone. And I feel like so many of us

No matter how many friends we have in our circles or super, super inner circle, or even like our outer circles, our acquaintances, our social media friends and following our listeners are who, you know, our business associates, like no matter how many of those folks we have around us, it can often feel like in some of those darkest moments and some of those man, real, just low moments, it can feel really overwhelming.

really lonely. So I'm here today to remind you, to remind me, to remind all of us that even in those moments, you are not alone. So we're going to do a guided meditation that helps you visualize that and gives you a beautiful guided visualization to help you remember that you are not alone. And that during these moments that are heavy, you can call upon those that you're connected with to help feed you. Okay.

All right, so if you're in a place where you can, go ahead and close your eyes. Go ahead and take a deep breath in and then let it all out. Take another deep breath, allowing this breath to fill you up, slow you down, and exhale it all out. As you feel your shoulders relax, your face soften, your mind slow down.

Pay attention to your breathing and let it slow rhythm continue to bring you right here into this moment. Right here where nothing else exists, nothing to worry about, nothing to fear. Just being one with your presence, arriving fully into this moment. Now see if you can imagine yourself embodied as a tree,

See your roots dig down deep into the soil, anchoring you. And see the trunk of your tree rise towards the sky, sturdy and thick. And watch your branches spread out in all directions, filled with leaves that are dancing in the breeze. Unify your breath with this tree, feeling the life move through you.

I want you to imagine, if you can, a recent moment when you have felt really sad, maybe even depressed, confused or angry, and foundationally detached, alone. Maybe you felt that no one understood you or no one cared to understand. Maybe you felt forgotten or invisible.

Whatever feelings were there, just imagine this scene again. It's almost as if the embodiment of this were that the roots of your trees shriveled up and the branches and leaves of your trees retracted. And you wanted to tell yourself that you were all alone, that no one understands, that no one cares. But take a deep breath.

And as you feel the air move through you, imagine those branches, those leaves, those roots expanding out again. Feel your roots dig deep and know that underneath the soil there is an entire system of roots that connects you to all the other trees. No matter how far away they are, they are connected. You are connected.

They are here to provide you nourishment and encouragement. And you can't do that for yourself. Feel them feed you now with even the slightest touch, with even the slightest connection. And imagine the branches and your leaves stretched out high above you and around you, intermingling with the other branches and leaves of the trees around you, as if holding hands.

Remembering your sameness, honoring your difference. You are not alone. Feel the energy move through branch to branch, root to root. Connecting you in your aliveness. Feel the warmth of this connection enter you through your branches and through your roots. Softening you and dissolving any sadness,

any loneliness that exists. And now see the energy from others pour through you and light you up until your roots and your trunk, your branches and your leaves are all illuminated in a golden light. You are connected. You are part of the whole. It's only in your separation that the pain deepens.

It's in your connection that the pain dissolves. Be here for a few final moments, feeling the energy exchange from root to root and branch to branch, remembering your connection. Now, let's conclude by taking a big deep breath in, holding it at the top for just a moment, and then releasing on your exhale.
