struck me as a very joyous person. And even when I logged on here, I felt like I was seeing an old friend and a very joyous old friend. Hey, everybody. Welcome to Literally with me, Rob Lowe. We have a legend with us today.

a legend in the YouTube world, a legend in the yoga world, Yoga with Adrienne. It does not get any bigger than that. Adrienne Mishler is here. We're gonna talk about her meteoric rise into the wellness world and her ambassadorship bringing yoga to so many people. And I'm gonna tell her my introduction to yoga. You're gonna wanna know this story.

Trust me. If you had my introduction to yoga, you would be doing yoga. And I can't wait to lay this on her. Adrienne Mishler, coming up. Hi, how are you? I am doing so well. You know, that little moment with the headphones just gave me just enough time to think about your...

your fit today. I mean, this is... I literally came from my show, 9-1-1 Lone Star, which takes place in Austin. I mean, this is kismet. And I'm wearing my fire captain outfit. I mean, it could not be... I did it for you. It's all for you. I love it. So it really is kismet. I was going to say the same thing. Is this like...

Real or okay. I love this. I mean, you know, I'm so great. I think we need to do an episode where, you know, I, someone's in a yoga pose and you can't get them out of the pose. They're frozen in the pose and they call 911. They're like, I'm in, what would be the most gnarly position? I can think of a few real, real quick, but my, my mind actually went crazy.

Yes. And maybe we just need to get Benji, the dog in there, like to, to support, you know? So then we're not really degrading yoga. I mean, yeah.

You know, he's he's like dying for a break, too. So, yeah, I love that you have your pup around. He's very I mean, I insist on bringing dogs to the set. I think it's a must. Me, too. I always feel good when there's like a dog in the trailer, too. Like I feel like today's going to be a great day. You know, like, oh, yes, it's 530. But oh, I get to hold this little rooper to the chair. So tell me, how is real Austin? I only know how fake Austin is.

Real Austin is holding on strong. I was actually born here and I'm here now. I was born here, raised here, never moved, almost went to New York to do professional theater when I was 17, 18, 19, 20. Almost went to LA for film and commercial when I was 29, 30. And I ended up staying with this yoga opportunity, with this

passion project that just kind of yeah made me want to want to stay in austin because it just felt so down to earth and and because i get to travel a lot and i was still doing a lot of acting at the time creative projects i didn't feel like oh man i'm a loser that never left town you know like i just it felt like yeah this is a great soft landing to come home to after

on projects or even teaching yoga around the world, which I did for quite a bit. But I would say Austin's holding on strong. It's funny that you say fake Austin. I know how you are using that word, but...

With all of the growth here, there is this... I'm just not one to want to waste or exhaust myself talking bad about change because that's what change is. It's hard. I would say there's an element of the keep Boston weird and the realness and the accessibility, which is like, I know, the

a big word, but I mean it here, you know, especially with the arts, like big time, I've witnessed it. That's, that's holding on strong to a lot of the, I won't say fakeness. I'll just say money that's coming in. So, yeah. So I'm always rooting for a balance and trying to, yeah, do what I can here in the community to maintain that. But yeah, I like, I like Austin. Yeah.

I love coming to Torchy's Tacos. That's my favorite thing, among my favorite things about Austin. My man Torchy, I know him really well. Great character, great guy, great success. It feels like there's a lot of homegrown, boots on the ground, American success stories in Austin.

It really does to me. I think so. Actually, when you bring up tacos, I mean, it's kind of obvious for Austin, but it's true. We have so many great tacos and really behind all the good tacos, no joke. It sounds so cliche, but it's like, it's the people, the people that are behind the tacos. This is going to be my soundbite, right? It's the people that are behind the tacos. That are behind the tacos. Yeah.

But honestly, I mean it. It's like that really make it so good. Like, yes, it tastes good, but there's all this meaning and really it's a story. There's a lot of great stories here in Austin still. I can think of several right now, just beautiful people that have made it. Here's the connective tissue I'm coming up with.

Tacos have been around forever. Yoga's been around forever. My man Torchy figured out how to break through with his own iteration of it. You have, I mean, created an empire out of yoga. What do you think you connected with in yoga that was able to break through? Was it the way that you communicated it to people? Was it, what do you think the special sauce was? I think that the best way to communicate

show up for others is, or maybe not the best way, but one of the more generous ways is to allow people to see you.

And that's harder than we think. And this is something that I really learned when I was younger in theater, you know, just how courageous it can be and what a generous gift it can be to allow others, an audience or a community to really look at you. Every finger, every toe, every hair, you know. And so while I'm obviously not performing that much when guiding yoga, I'm

That was kind of like in the early days, one of the things that unconsciously, I think I just went with it. I just went with what I knew, which was like, let people see me and lead and guide and share from there. So it's changed over the years. I've been doing it. I started the YouTube channel in 2012. So it's been quite a bit of time. So obviously things have changed. It's always so funny. I always like when people write like, you've changed. I'm like,

Yeah, I thank God, you know, like, you know, got on across my legs. Yeah, I think I think that's the main thing that comes up for me just because it was the first thing that I kind of fell into was like, instead of trying to really nail this, how can I really teach people?

from a place of like the real me, just letting people see me and not trying to perfect or shape it too much. No pun intended. - What's your biggest sort of thing that you get out of it today versus in 2012 when you started? - Well, I think it's really similar to the thing that made me fall in love with yoga, which is this carving out of time and space

for just to simply get to know myself, to look at myself. And I think the difference would be when I was younger, I was often doing that with the intention of trying to better myself. And I'm still trying to better myself as I evolve and get older, of course. Many of us are. But

But now I'm less interested in terms of yoga anyway. There are plenty of other things that I do that I'm like, must get better at and excel. But yoga has become this really sweet, dare I say, sacred place for me to come to myself and remember, I actually don't need to improve today or get better just taking the time and space.

to breathe and to notice where I'm at notice my nervous system notice my muscles like the whole you know whatever it is that day but I still think that's like the money like that's the thing that even to this day I'm like it works it works when you just show up and and look and ask your

How do I feel today? When you describe it like that, to me, it feels like how I feel when I meditate. Because I say the same things. It's not about a result. It's about just getting some consistency. And there's no such thing as a bad yoga session. There's no such thing as a bad meditation session. The only thing bad is if you don't do it. Totally. And being able to turn off the judgment of

a particular performance of that day or that particular experience? I think that one of the hardest things right now for me in yoga is that as the channel and the community really is huge. It's been huge for a long time, international, all across the globe, every nook and cranny, a real honest experience.

to God, like honor and delight for me as a person. But I think one of the hardest things is just trying to keep it, for lack of better terms, simple, like keep it, or we can go back to keeping it real. You know, it's like, it's really hard. Obviously we live in a heavy commerce, you know, wellness is heavily commodified. I'm not saying here that I'm not like a part of that. We all are inevitably commodified.

But I think just like you mentioned, it's like now I'm really interested in like, let's like, maybe not more is more here. Like maybe we can just,

keep a steady, even quest for motivation for self-study and inquiry going versus all the physical stuff, which obviously the physical stuff is dope. And I love the physicality of yoga and I love a lot of other movement modalities and workouts. But I think that's the thing I'm most excited about right now is like, okay, if I have this connection to so many people across the globe, how do I do right by this ancient practice? Yeah.

And like, think about the future of yoga a little bit. So I can nerd out on that a little bit. You want to hear my introduction to yoga? I desperately want to know how we're here together. What's your relationship to yoga? Yes, please. Okay. So, okay. So I,

You know how you'll meet somebody and they'll be like, hey, you should call me. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And you know you're not going to do it, but you want to do it and you kind of don't do it. So I was shooting a movie back in the really early 90s, I think, in London. And I ran into Sting. And who isn't a huge Sting fan, right? And he's like, why don't you come out to the house? And we just met.

You know, you do it. And I'm like, sure, I'd love to do it. I was like, you know what? I'm doing it. I'm doing this. I'm calling Sting. I barely know him. He invited me. I'm taking up on it. I said to my wife, we're going. Went out and he has this amazing house out in Wiltshire,

It's built like the 1100. It's out of a movie. And we took a walk to Stonehenge. Naturally. As you do when you're with Sting in the country. But I'll never forget waking up in the morning. The sun is out and it's beautiful. And I'm hearing something out the window. And I look down in the garden and there's Sting doing his naked yoga.

And I was like, yeah, okay. This is where it's at. And that's why he looks like Stan. That's what I was about to say. That's the stuff right there. Have you seen that man? That man...

And this is 30 years ago. This is 30 years ago this happened. And he looks like frozen in time. There's every particularly man that I know who moves like a boy and has that fluidity. Every single one of them, you talk to them, yoga. Every single one of them. Yes. After a big season of burnout-

myself, I finally found myself in a position where I really wanted to just kind of train up a little bit after the past decade of my work in the yoga community and just my personal work as well. By the way, I probably saw Sting 30 years ago. I remember it because a friend of mine that I used to do

Austin Musical Theater with invited me and it was amazing. I've seen a million concerts, especially coming from Austin, but I will never forget that performance. But I recently have found myself coming back to study the texts and going back to the yoga philosophy and working in an accredited yoga therapy program.

And I'm only my first year of this program and every day I'm like,

"Oh, fuck, am I going to do three years of this program?" I just don't, with everything going on. But I'm also getting excited again, like I was when I was a kid or a young woman, younger woman, around my early 20s. I'm getting stoked again about what all research has proven yoga can do. And also, of course, then going back into the ancient texts. And the reason I mention this is because

Now, everywhere I go, I already kind of walk around and see bodies in space. With my collective background, I like to see people move. But now, especially with men, I just noticed this lately for whatever reason. I am like borderline. Yeah, I don't know if it's good. I'm like looking at people's pelvises and their heads and their shoulders. And I'm like, oh, that's that. This is this. And it's hard to turn it off because this is what I'm studying. And I have noticed or just realized now listening to you share that.

I'm doing that more with men. Like I see it more with men. Of course, I'm not going up to them and be like, do you do yoga?

ability to move your body. It's, it's, it's a, it's a must. I've just started, my wife and I are both like, we need to really recommit to, to yoga. You know, like we're, we're like at an age where it's like, it's like having a youth shot. It really is. I think, don't you find, do you, you must find that with, with the people that you work with and the people who subscribe to the channel and people you come across. Yeah, absolutely. I think so. Also, it's, you know, the, that,

I, I, I genuinely feel it's also about energy, like the feeling that you, you know, your inner landscape, that's, that's the coolest thing about yoga is we are practically working like with the physiology of the body, but then there's this whole other layer that has been around, you know, for thousands and thousands of years that, that has a big effect on your, you know, the way you carry yourself and the way you see yourself and your, you know,

So I would think so. I plan on milking that. I turned 40 this year and I'm excited. I'm like, I'm excited. Let's bring it on. I'm sure when I started doing yoga, I would have never thought when I was turning 40, I'd be like smiling. I mean, you are timeless looking. I turned 60 this year and I was like, this is an opportunity to...

to redouble and recommit to vigor and exploration and openness and curiosity. And those are the things, I mean, we have to take care of our bodies, minds, spirits, all of those things. But to...

really truly look youthful, you have to be youthful on the inside as well. I've always thought, which is, I'm in a job that is easy. I mean, I play dress up for a living. So I'm just a, you know, I'm just a big, you know, I walk into the makeup trailer every day. I literally have

a fake saxophone at Maracas, a paint on fake piano on the table. And I listened to music and I have, I do a stupid band and I do it every morning. And like, I'm a 10 year old.

And people would be appalled if they came in and saw what the hell I do to prepare everyone. Like it lets my inner child run amok, which is really, really cool. Honestly, I was just sitting here thinking you do and have always done.

struck me as a very joyous person. And even when I logged on here, I felt like I was seeing an old friend and yeah, just, you know, just felt like, Oh, an old friend and a very joy, like a very joyous old friend. So I think we're onto something. Yeah. Tap tapping into that, that like also though, giving ourselves permission. So your career has allowed you to, to really lean into that.

And that's one of the things I also just miss about performing myself is that like, okay, we are very clear agreement here. I'm going to do this. And we're, you know, we all know what we're doing here. And for somebody who maybe isn't in that, you know, position so easily tap into that. I feel like it can be hard to remember. Like we all have permission to feel joy or find the joy in something. We don't need to tamper it down or, you know,

play small. We can explore, you know, this part of aging and evolution too, because it, it might just, yeah, make us look better, but make, make us feel a lot better so that we can pay that forward. You know, when we feel like shit, it affects other people around us, no doubt. So I love it. What is your day? What's your, your daily life? Like I'm fascinated to ask people who are as busy and entrepreneurial and, and sort of,

In the prime of what they're into, what their daily life is like. Like, you wake up in the morning and what happens? And I try not to go right to the phone. That's like a big thing right now. And it's, you know, it's... I'm giving you thumbs up. These are thumbs up. It's just a big thing for me right now. It's in the evening and in the morning.

And, you know, I've been working on this for some time, but right now I'm just going to answer truthfully in the moment. Like, that's the big thing. I wake up in the morning and I'm not running to the phone. I'm not even sleeping. I'm not sleeping. We're doing some construction at our new home right now. So...

We're living in this, I'm calling it our romance era where it's like we're upstairs and it's like we're in this little apartment together, but really everything's just happening downstairs and we're all moving around each other. I'm able to put the phone in the bathroom that's adjacent, it's like a guest room situation.

And so I don't touch that. I have asked my partner, my husband and I got married late last year. You know, the morning is super... Congratulations. Thank you. The morning is super important to me, babe. So can we, you know, you don't have to do it like me. Obviously, we have our own ways of waking up. But can we like just keep that in mind? Because that's just like a big, big thing for me. I was noticing like he was just...

being a sweetheart and going about his morning, but I was like, where's the love? Where's the intentionality? Why do you seem sad? He's like, I'm not sad. So we have had some communication on just, you know, it's not the same every morning, but having a little bit of a little more focus on how we talk to each other in the morning. How, how do we want the day to go? And then, you know, who is at the crux of all that is Benji, the dog. And so,

You know, I often think about when I'm looking down at him right now. I often think about when Benji, you know, passes on. How am I going to keep that, you know, waking up, going to bed so intentional? I think about these things all the time because if you've ever suffered the heartbreak of losing an animal, which many of us have, it's real. It's tough. You're losing a family or something.

I know it sounds so dumb, but I just treasure the shit out of my time with Benji in the morning. And then old me used to hop on the computer and get to work, whatever it was, whether it was admin or yoga content, yoga meditation, breath work, or something else creative. But...

After the pandemic years, those heavy years, my body asked me to change it up, to stop burning the candle at both ends in terms of the computer and the responsibility I feel towards our team and our community. I never would have thought about this because I didn't design this as a business. I was just an actor who started this YouTube channel thinking it would pay some of the phone bill, started it with...

the director, co-writer of a film that I had, like an indie horror B film that just yesterday he said, I still want to make a little doc or something just so that we can pull that footage from Spider Babies for people to see. And I'm like, no.

I have like, yes, no, I, no, no. I have a neck tattoo. Yes. The film never got finished to produce. I have a neck tattoo in this film. I have like a black jet black pixie haircut with the like 1920s, you know, curls. And I played like Gibson bass. Like it's, it's something.

But I want this now. What do I have to do? We demand it. The community demands it. I know the only regret I will have this this whole conversation is going to be mentioning that. But it's just so fresh on my mind because he brought it up yesterday. So maybe it's meant to be. Oh, listen, I'm just now it's going to be a groundswell. Now you've sealed your fate.

See, you sealed your fate. It's over. Between the people that listen to you, the people that listen to me, the demand, you just have to meet the demand. It's done. No. He's supposed to be thrilled. So I met him on a film set. So it was never like, oh, I'm going to devise this big business. We're going to help people get well. We're going to help people feel seen. It was like it all unraveled from this passion project, which in a lot of ways, right, that's great. That is kismet.

But took a lot of, yeah, I've had to learn along the way, like what's too much and what I, you know, boundaries just like we all do in different ways. So I have really protected my mornings in recent years. I like that. And then I like to be focused in the morning and get steps in and I do a lot of Pilates, reformer yoga. And then in the afternoon is when I jam out with people and give,

give my time and attention to the team and to the community. And I batch film a lot these days as well. So anywhere from a four day shoot to a two week shoot, we'll do it all at once. And then that way we're just kind of working in post lovingly and systematically after it's all, all done, which, you know, it's like, it's different to be on camera versus off. It's a, you're wearing a different hat. You're, you know,

I love the weeks of no makeup and no hairbrush. It's why I always used to love voiceover too. It's like, yes, sign me up, daddy. Yeah, you just be in your sweatpants and do your work. Yeah, it's the morning's same. I like stay away from the phone. I have, it's funny, the relationship that you described with

your husband, I have with my wife, but around nighttime. Like I really like to go to bed in a very kind of specific way.

And she likes to go to bed in a very specific way. And it's really different. Like she would like loves to watch TV and get sleepy watching TV and then go to sleep. I want to go to sleep like in a sarcophagus. I want to literally like be in a tomb and of quiet and darkness with my thoughts and all of that. And like they say, fall asleep. Like feel yourself falling.

- Good point. - I get ideas that way. I've come up with projects that way. That time is really, really important, so we have to negotiate that between us. - You like to slow burn into slumber. - Yes, I do. - I like that. I like that. Sometimes I tap into that, and I always feel very pious. When I do, I'm like, you know what? No show, no reading.

just the eye mask and sleeping, but it's like few and far between. - Oh, the eye mask. Oh, so you're down with the eye mask too. I love it. - I am down with the eye mask. My partner not so down with the eye mask and if I had a dollar for every time I was like, "Would you like an eye mask? Would you like an eye mask?" Whether we're traveling, we're in a hotel, we're here or maybe he's just had a couple nights of bad sleep or been sick or on a plane, I'm like, "I have an extra eye mask."

And he's turned me down every single time. So I respect that. I respect that for him, but I love an eye mask. So I do a one-man show. I tour it whenever I have time for fun. And I do an entire 10 minutes on men not respecting the eye mask. Yes, I do. I do. I really, really do.

It's such a game changer. The only thing is you got to have one where I have like super long eyelashes. So I have to like, I have like girl eyelashes. So I have to like make sure I have like a bubble eye mask. I can't do the flat, clothy, like they need to be fully constructed, almost like a Superman mask. That's the only pro tip I have for newbies. Yeah, I wish I had that problem, but I don't. So, right.

I just have the basic goal. Actually, I'm not going to mention the brand because I just, I can't do that to myself, but I have found the best eye mask. And it was, I was like, is this going to be a rip off? Like, this seems like a stretch. And I have, I have like my, like eye masks that have a little lavender in them that I take on the plane, just slides in my work bag, you know, but my home one, or if I'm somewhere for work,

a week or longer. It's like the Rolls Royce of eye masks. It's so good. It's really good. ♪

Do you know about this? No.

So you'd be sleeping, your eyes would be closed, and then the lights, it would be certain light patterns that would light up. And it would do something vis-a-vis your REM sleep. And it was... I'm doing a terrible job of pitching this. It sounds like a terrible product right now. But it was insane. It was designed to...

not like wake you up a little bit at certain times and give you light. It was not, it was mental, but it was so much fun. So keep your eyes out for whatever the hell this thing is called. But it's, it's a mask with little led lights that light up at certain times in the night that help control, modulate your sleep patterns. That was good. That made it sound, made it sound good. That's what it was. Yeah. You got it right there at the end. I'm like, Oh, okay. Maybe I'll,

Maybe I'm... Yeah, I sold you at the very end. I landed the customer at the very, very end of the bench. Okay, so what other wellness...

gadgets are, I'm a big cold plunge person. Are we down with cold plunges? All right. Since I brought him into this, I feel like it's only fair to say my husband is big into the cold plunge and I've never done the cold plunge, but I do, but mostly because I just haven't, like I've jumped into cold water, but yeah, I haven't done the like sit in there and time it. I'm interested. I'm interested. I'm

I'm skeptical that it's right for everyone. I see. I don't want to, I don't want to get into this, but I I'm like, yeah, it could be good for me. Um, I think when I was in a state of legitimate burnout, my nervous system was like Looney Tunes, literally like Looney Tunes. Um,

That would have been my nightmare. I would not. I'd rather step into flames than to do cold plunge. So I think that was when we started having that conversation. But I'm open to it now. I'm a huge fan of the infrared sauna. That was my next question. Huge. Love that. Love that. And other things like that, I don't... I have to tell you, like we were saying...

The more I kind of delve into this yoga therapy world too, and it's different from like yoga being therapeutic and then yoga therapy, but I'm starting to like come back to basics and realize like, I mean, obviously all these things are wonderful. And my therapist recently, in all honesty, just suggested that I do try the aura ring. So I'm not like, I'm not here or there. I'm not like taking a side, but yeah.

The yoga aspect, the presence of the yoga therapy in my life has gotten me thinking, yes, these things are great. And also, when is just the simple staying meditation, nude, out in the grass, best? Or your version of that, which would just be like sitting in your dark closet in your sweatpants, upright, whatever it is. So maybe less is more. So I discovered there's a thing called fire gazing, apparently. Yeah.

And it kind of explains why as humans, we're so mesmerized by fire. Like you go out and you do a campfire and everybody sits there with their mouths open like idiots, just gazing at the fire. And it's something very primal. And so I've, again, this is part of the ramp up to sleep every night is I have a little fire pit and I'll go and I'll sit out in the fire and just kind of

Watch the fire. And I definitely think it releases something in, in, well, I don't know. It could just be so simple that it just is relaxing, but I think it, it, it's releasing something very, very deep rooted in our consciousness going back, you know, to the beginning of time. And we all sat around fires at night. Now we all sit around phones at night.

And if you can give that a shot, that's a great thing to do. Yes, actually, I love that. I love that for all of us to think about if we are lucky and privileged enough to have two sticks or a fire handy. I really love that because you're right. It's like...

probably in our DNA, in our blood. And it's true. Everyone, you know, that, you know, feeling of not being able to take your gaze away from the fire, but also I'm going to go a little another layer deep here is like, it's also so nice when you're tending to a fire, like you can't do anything else. If you've ever built a fire or made a fire, kept it alive, you've been the lucky one to, I got this, you know, like make it happen. That that's really sweet to think about too, of like when we're doing all these things,

things like the fire is going to burn out. And it's hard to tend to multiple fires at once. If you're like, Oh, I'm tending to this fire, but then I have like my family fire over there and like, Oh shit, that one's going out. So I got to run to all these fires. So I just, I don't know. I love, I love thinking about that in terms of, I've mentioned several times. So apparently I still need to talk about it, but you know, just creating balance and homeostasis, not getting burnt out because like you are actually a perfect inspiration of like

We, if we're built to do more than one thing and like keep a lot of irons in the fire, then great. Like it's not, I shouldn't have to be so extreme. Like I'm, I'm still learning that in my life. Like it's either all the way on or all the way off Adrian. And I'm like, maybe we don't have to like quit everything just to be chill. Maybe we can find like a balancing of tending the fires. I don't know.

But also you just made me think that we just got like this new house has a fireplace that's in a really sweet place. And we got married in November and then we were like in our new house for the holiday season. And it was all the fire, all about the fire and playing records because with the fire, we're like didn't want our gadgets and everything around us. No, you don't. I will say that I do not dress in this fireman's outfit when I gaze at the fire.

I only wear this outfit and gaze at fire if I'm being paid. That's where I draw the line. Paid well. So it's good to like, yeah, loose fitting clothing so that your lymph can flow and everything because slow burn to slumber. Actually, slow burn to slumber is a great name for something. I love it.

Slow burn to slumber. I like this. That's pretty. And the burn is actually the fire, right? Burning away all the distractions, all the noise. Okay, we're designing a logo. We're designing this logo together. So it's the fire and the sleep mask. Yeah. Yes. Voila.

How about a sleep mask with flames on it? I mean, listen, I'm telling you, it's endless. You and I could come with endless businesses. Oh, I like this. Maybe to a Holly Golightly style thing, but instead of the eyelashes on the exterior, it's like flames. And somehow when we're selling it, you can bring it back in the eyelash story of your gorgeous, amazing, super long eyelashes that will make everyone...

feel less than, but happy for you. It'll be great. I actually really like this. It's good. I mean, it's good. I think we have something we, we have, we have good actionable takeaway from this interview and that does not happen. I actually think we could sell this. I'm asking, I'm not just trying to make a buck or, or be super gross here, but the thing is, I'm trying to win this battle with my husband apparently, but I,

When we close the light out, right after we start the fire, like we are truly right. We're sending a message to the brain. Like this is what I try to tell my husband. I'm like, but it works. Like it's not just a preferential. He'll never go back. He'll never ever. I mean, literally, what are the odds that I literally do a bit about this to the guy? I go, guys,

Guys, I literally look at the guys in the audience and I do 10 minutes on the eye mask. I need to talk to your husband. That's very clear. Well, this is a real deal. So I kind of, yeah, I welcome it because I'm like, this is a real deal. Even we were just in Mexico City last week and the apartment we were staying in,

It's quite bright and in Mexico City in May, it's beautiful. Everything's still blooming, but it's warm. In the apartments, there's not always air con. You have the windows open, it's lovely. Anyway, it's bright. Once again, I was like, can I interest you in an eye mask? You know what's so silly is

I pack an eye mask like as a safety eye mask sometimes too. So I have, I'm not going to say brand names. Of course. 100%. So I have my airplane one. Then I have my safety one in case I forgot my legit one. And then I have my legit one that comes with it. So I'm like offering him and it's, yeah.

You got to have multiples. Got to have multiples. Well, this is such a pleasure that you would take time out. I know you don't do any podcasts and that was a pleasure to have you. So many people were excited that I was talking to you. And this was great. You've inspired me to... Oh, I want to ask you this. When you're in your infrared sauna, do you ever do any yoga? Do you do like

Any of the, not hot yoga, because that's a whole other thing, but like, do you do any work in there or do you just chill when you're in the infancy? I do a little bit of both. I mostly try to meditate and chill. And I have, I'm not proud of this, but I have, you know, you trial and error, you know, you try books, you're this, that, Netflix.

Even the books, I read a lot. It's like even the glue on the books fall apart and then it's like all the pages are all, and it's all gross. So at least right now, my favorite thing to do is to practice doing nothing. But I often end up stretching in there and doing some self-massage and whatever feels good. Practicing nothing is a great thing.

It's true. I say that all the time whenever I can, if I'm guiding friends or community or whenever I can. It's like, give yourself permission here, specifically for Shavasana when we're all just like, I gotta go. Give yourself permission to practice doing nothing, even if it's just for this one moment. And I'll usually repeat it a couple times.

That's that. I love that. That's a good one. That's a good takeaway. Good for us to end on. Thank you. You were lovely. Maybe I'll see you in Austin when I come to put out the fire. Yeah, please do reach out. Like I said, it was so funny to see you and feel like I was seeing an old friend. I don't know what, I wasn't expecting that. So that's so sweet. That's awesome. Awesome. Thank you so much. Thanks for having me. Bye. Bye.

What a sweet, wonderful, smart woman. But her husband needs to get with the mask thing. That could not be more clear. I'm just saying. For the longevity of the relationship, bro, listen to your wife. She knows what she's talking about. Anyway, that was amazing. I'm going to work on my cat cow. It's all I know about yoga.

Cat and cow, I'm going to go stretch out and do that. Thank you all for listening. Really fun episode. Adrian, thank you for being on it. And thank you all for listening. And we'll see you next week right here, literally.
