Every individual component of your body has different adaptation zones, and we want to make sure that when we are training that we respect that adaptation zone and that we hit that adaption zone so we can get stronger, but we want to make sure we don’t underdo thing or overdo things. A lot of people when they are injured ask me when they can start running, and I always say start embarrassing slow & low speed and take it from there Where runners get really stuck is they only love running and all they want to do is running, running is their mental release- it helps with good mental health- and then when they are injured, and they can’t run, that’s when they really struggle because they don’t have any alternatives Anyone can adapt to being a runner, so don’t let anyone convince you otherwise
